Though there is still some need to redeem themselves considering The Bastard fell short of taking the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door. Will Pac and the Swiss Cyborg slay the War Dragons? Or will things be Unbound in San Diego?

The teams sort out and Pac starts against Takagi. The fans rally as these two meet again from their days in Dragon Gate. They circle, feel things out, and tie up. Pac waistlocks, Takagi switches, but Pac switches back. Pac headlocks, wrenches, and wristlocks. Takagi powers up to wrench back, ELBOW BREAKER, then wristlock. Takagi hammerlocks, Pac drop toeholds, and Pac floats to a facelock. Takagi wrenches free to facelock then headlock for the takeover. Pac headscissors, Takagi kips free, and the fans cheer the standoff. Pac and Takagi back away, Claudio gives Pac some pointers, and Pac resets with Takagi.

Pac and Takagi feel things out, tie up, and Takagi powers Pac back. Pac turns things around into the corner, then backs off. Pac headlocks and hits the takeover, but Takagi fights around. Pac tries to get a cover, ONE as Takagi Gets his shoulder up. Takagi powers up, powers out, but Pac RAMS Takagi! Takagi rebounds to RUN Pac over! Things get moving, Pac hurdles, then runs to RANA! Takagi tumbles, the fans fire up, and Pac runs, only to get RUN over! The fans rally as Pac scrambles to the corner. Claudio tags in, and so does Drilla! The two feel things out, go around, and Claudio trips Drilla to then float and facelock.

Drilla moves around, Claudio waistlocks, then headlocks. Drilla powers up to kick at Claudio’s leg, then he grinds his forearm into Claudio’s face so he can get free. Drilla headlocks, Claudio powers up and out, then he RUNS Drilla over! Things keep moving, Claudio RUNS Drilla over again! Drilla kips up, drops down, then RUNS Claudio over! The fans cheer, Drilla CHOPS Claudio, and CHOPS again! Claudio KNEES low, then bumps him off buckles. Claudio UPPERCUTS, then he tags Pac. The Death Riders double whip to then scoop, BACKBREAKER, and STOMP! Cover, ONE! Drilla toughs it out but Pac cravats.

Claudio tags in, he CHOPS Drilla, but Drilla CHOPS back! And CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Drilla backs Claudio down, tags Takagi, and then they CHOP, JAB, and repeat! The fans cheer while the ref counts, but Takagi JABS, JABS, JABS, then he ROCKS Claudio! But Claudio CHOPS in return! Takagi ROCKS, Claudio UPPERCUTS, repeat! Claudio fires UPPERCUT after UPPERCUT but Takagi hooks the arms, spins and TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! The fans cheer as Takagi brings Claudio up. Takagi cravats Claudio, Drilla tags in, and the War Dragons double whip to DOUBLE SHOULDER TACKLE! Then they BLAST Pac for good measure!

Drilla KNEE DROPS onto Claudio, then pushes him down for a cover, TWO! Drilla stays close, then HEADBUTTS Claudio to the corner. Drilal ROCKS Claudio, ROCKS him again, then ROCKS him again! Drilla brings Claudio in but Claudio stops the suplex! Drilla HEADBUTTS then BUTTERFLY SUPLEXES! Cover, TWO! Claudio RAMS Drilla into the ropes, but the ref counts. Claudio backs off, but Pac gets a cheap shot in! Pac gets away with it, then Claudio RAMS Drilla into the corner. Tag to Pac and they stomp a mudhole into Drilla! Drilla survives but Claudio clamps on with a COBRA CLUTCH! Drilla endures, fights up, and the fans rally up. Drilla lifts Claudio but Claudio turns things into a STRAITJACKET NECKBREAKER! Cover, Takagi breaks it! The fans applaud but Claudio protests. Takagi backs off, Claudio tags Pac, and Pac goes up. MISSILE DROPKICK on Drilla! Drilla tumbles closer to the corner, but Pac kneels on him for a cover, TWO! Drilla is tougher than that, but Pac stays between him and Takagi.

The fans rally as Drilla CHOPS Pac! And CHOPS again! And CHOPS again! Pac brings Drilla up to suplex, but Drilla fights it! Drilla slips free, waistlocks, but Pac elbows free. Lexy Nair is with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong, and says a lot has gone on lately. From the 12 Man Steel Cage match to Dynamite last night. Cassidy says yeah, yeah, that steel cage match was crazy. They got the job done, Mark Briscoe got his title shot last night, but… it didn’t really work out. Because of Briscoe’s injuries, we don’t know when we’ll see him again. Same for #BigTom, Tomohiro Ishii. And then Willow Nightingale… Soon! But what about Lio Rush? They all look around for him, and Roddy shouts, “LEXYYY~! It’s fine. Because The Conglomeration doesn’t ponder on the past, we stay on the present.”

And currently, they are the AEW World Trios Champions, ready and willing to defend whenever. But speaking of champions… Konosuke Takeshita steps in! He says he likes El Phantasmo. He wants to fight Kyle Fletcher. And he hates Okada. Look at them! All champions! Let’s keep it that way, boys! The Conglomeration heads out, and Cassidy adds that he’s pretty sure Lio likes them. But while everyone is good for now, will things be fine in this Summer heat?

The Real Latino Man proved he was his own man on Sunday when he stopped taking all the crap from MJF and Don Callis. But of course, the Don Callis Family does not forgive, forget, nor fight fair. The mugging just last night now gives us this match tonight, will The Machine make Andrade pay for turning his back on the Family? Or will he just be the first pawn off the board?

The moment Cage and Archer are ringside, Andrade DIVES out onto them! The fans fire up as Andrade then fires off forearms on Cage, shoves him into the ring, and the bell rings. Andrade RAMS into Cage again and again, then fires forearms. The ref reprimands, Andrade backs off, but the fans cheer him on. Andrade whips Cage but Cage comes back to LARIAT! Cage bumps Andrade off buckles, RAMS into him again and again, then CHOPS! Andrade CHOPS in return! Cage just brushes it off to CHOP again! Andrade sputters, but Cage CHOKES him on the ropes! The ref counts, Cage backs off, but then he digs his boot in!

The fans boo, the ref counts, but Cage stops at 4. Cage stands Andrade up to scoop and SLAM! Cage runs and leg drops, brother! Cover, ONE!! Andrade toughs it out but Cage says Andrade doesn’t stand a chance. Cage HEADBUTTS Andrade, UPPERCUTS him, then whips corner to corner. Cage runs up but into a BOOT! Andrade runs to RANA, and Cage tumbles out to the apron! Andrade GAMANGIRIS Cage down to the floor! The fans fire up as Andrade huffs ‘n’ puffs, then he builds speed to TRIANGLE JUMP TORNILLO! The fans cheer as the selfie is taken, then Andrade gets Cage into the ring. But then Archer storms up! Andrade says stay back, the ref says the same, and Andrade goes back up the steel steps. But Cage GAMANGIRIS Andrade now! Cage climbs up, and he brings Andrade up to deadlift SUPERPLEX! The fans cheer that strength, but then boo as Cage flexes, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Cage has an idea! He wants a selfie with the same lovely lady Andrade just met. She says no thanks, so Cage just soaks up the heat. Andrade sputters on the outside, but the ref is busy with Cage, letting Archer get a cheap shot in! Archer mockingly cheers Andrade on now as Cage drags Andrade up. Cage whips Andrade hard into railing! Andrade falls back down. Archer mockingly asks if he’s okay, and then Cage whips Andrade back into railing! Andrade slumps back down, Cage steps on him, but the ref reprimands. Cage soaks up more heat, talks more trash, then lifts Andrade up for an APRON BACK SUPLEX!

Cage steps into the ring, drags Andrade up, then grinds him down with a chinlock. Andrade endures and the fans rally up, but Collision goes to break.

Collision returns as Andrade JAWBREAKERS free of the chinlock! Andrade then fires forearms, but Cage JUMP KNEES! Andrade goes to a corner, Cage runs up, but Andrade BOOTS him! Cage still LARIATS! Cage wrenches, lifts, and he puts Andrade on the top rope. Cage CLUBS Andrade, then climbs up after Andrade. The fans boo but Cage soaks it all up. Cage brings Andrade up, but Andrade CLUBS away on Cage’s neck! The fans cheer as Andrade ELBOWS, and ELBOWS, and ELBOWS again! Cage falls, Andrade catches his breath, and the fans rally up again. Andrade flips Callis off, then MOONSAULT DOUBLE! Cover, TWO!

Cage survives but Andrade throws off his gloves. Callis pounds the mat to coach Cage up, but the fans boo and tell Callis off. Andrade ROCKS Cage, Cage ROCKS Andrade, and repeat! The fans rally as the shots go back and forth, then Andrade kicks low! Cage suplexes first, but Andrade slips free! Andrade dodges to FLYING FOREARM! Cage staggers around, Andrade kips up, then Andrade kicks low! Andrade hits the snap suplex for Uno Amigo! The fans cheer as Andrade hits Dos Amigos! And then some Latino Heat before the THREE AMIGOS! Cover, TWO! Cage survives but Andrade just snarls.

Cover, TWO!! Andrade survives and Cage is beside himself! Callis and Archer are upset for Cage, but the fans know, “This is Awesome!” Cage drags Andrade up, puts him up top, then climbs up after him. Andrade fires body shots, then HEADBUTTS! And HEADBUTTS again!

Cage falls, Andrade gives more Latino Heat, and the fans fire up again! FROG SPLASH!! Cover, TWO!! Cage survives and Andrade is rather stunned! The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” and Andrade pounds the mat. The fans clap along, “SI! SI! SI!” Andrade runs corner to corner and back again, CIEN KNEES! Then he drags Cage to a cover, TWO!! Cage survives again and Andrade is almost laughing in disbelief. The fans chant, “Take Them Off!” in reference to the pants. Andrade underhooks, Cage wrenches out, and HEADBUTT for the ripcord FOREARM! Then the fireman’s carry and F500!! Cover, TWO!!

Calli is furious all over again, and he argues the count. The ref tells Callis that two is two! Cage GERMAN SUPLEXES Andrade! Cage then demands Andrade gets back up! Andrade stands, Cage runs up, but into the DIA DE LOS MUERTOS ELBOW!! And then the underhooks, DIRECT MESSAGE!! Cover, Andrade wins!

It seems the answer to, “Who Betta Than Cage?” is Andrade! But then Andrade grabs a mic to say, “Do you think this is over? I have one question.” The fans already know the question, but Andrade asks it: “How you know?” Andrade throws the mic at Callis, then takes his leave. Will Andrade make sure to cross off the Callis Family one by one before he finally goes for the world championship?

Well, La Mera Mera couldn’t win the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships on Sunday, and the Fighting Gravure Idol missed out on the AEW TBS Championship. But there’s always another chance waiting down the line! Will Rosa & Mina rebound and be ready for what’s next? Or will the Petite Powerhouse & Powerbomb Princess prove they can be All Elite?

The teams sort out and Rosa starts against Zara. The two run up, Rosa dodges to shove Zara. Zara dodges, but Rosa ducks the enzigiri to then clinch and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Rosa runs to LARIAT, cover, TWO! Rosa brings Zara up, CHOPS her, then says one more. Rosa stands Zara up, but Zara dodges the chop to tag Becca. Rosa tags Mina, and Mina kicks to whip. Becca reverses, Mina slides under, and the fans cheer the shimmy. Becca runs, but Mina ducks the kick to roll up, SOBAT, and whip. Becca reverses, runs up, but Mina goes to the outside. Mina then eggs Becca on, catches her haymaker, and HOTSHOTS her down!

The fans cheer Mina as she then goes up, and slingshot TORNILLOS! Cover, Zara breaks it! Rosa goes after Zara, they brawl, Zara & Becca get the edge. They wind up, but Mina & Rosa block! They ROCK Zara & Becca, then send them into each other! The fans cheer as Rosa then whips Zara into Becca at the corner. Mina sends Rosa in for a LARIAT! Mina runs up to ELBOW! Zara & Becca sit down. Thekla tells Starlight Kid that she almost got her this time, but she didn’t! So now Starlight Kid can only blame herself, because Stardom is DEAD~! Thekla takes off the mask and says, “Long Live the Toxic Spider!” But now with All In on the horizon, she knows she has a big, shiny target on her waist, and everyone wants a shot. So all she can say is, load your guns, b*tches, cuz she’ll catch those bullets with her teeth and spit it right back in your face! The AEW Women’s World Champion is ready for anyone and everyone, but who will it be that she first faces at Redemption in Montreal?

Darius Martin brings up that they said they have Matt Sydal’s back and they meant it. And they talked about it. What better fit than one of the most influential high-flyers of a generation? Dante says that is why they want to officially add him to the team. When Darius was out with injury, Matt had Dante’s back, and Dante knew they would one day do the same for him. Scorpio Sky says yes, so picture this: SkyFlydal. Okay, in all seriousness, what does Sydal think about joining up? Sydal says it is a high honor to join the team. AEW is a dangerous place, and when he came back healthy, he knew he wouldn’t survive without someone watching his back.

Sydal thinks right now, all four of these guys, he has their backs, and he is looking for a fight! Then it is official! The team is growing bigger and stronger, but can they win their way to the top of AEW?

Hook leads the way out, but Bowens is getting annoyed with Hook being such a killjoy.

The bottom line is, will Shibata end the incredible run the Outlaw has been on? Or will Bandido make sure the Opps are still lacking?

The bell rings and ELP goes outside so he can give his LED sunglasses to a young fan in the front row. The fans cheer, Kyle and Callis think that’s stupid, but ELP goes back to the ring. ELP and Fletcher circle, tie up, and they end up on ropes. The ref counts, Kyle backs off, but ELP dodges the cheap shot to hit a takeover! Fletcher headscissors, ELP kips free, but then Kyle hits a takeover in return. ELP headscissors, Kyle kips free, and ELP trips Kyle to turn him over, tie up the legs, and BOW ‘N’ ARROW! Kyle pops free, covers, ONE! ELP avoids the sweep, steps over Kyle to bodyscissor roll, TWO! Kyle has a cradle, TWO! ELP has a ghost pin, TWO!!!

Kyle scrambles away to ropes and the fans fire up as ELP says it was that close. Kyle runs up, ELP knuckle locks and CHOPS! ELP goes up, up, jumps around, then FLYING RANAS! The fans fire up as ELP kips up! The fans spell it out, “E! L! P!” But then Kyle BOOTS ELP down! The fans are torn while Kyle flexes. ELP goes outside but Kyle pursues. Kyle storms up on ELP while the fans rally, but Collision goes picture in picture.

Kyle whips, ELP reverses, and Kyle hits railing hard! ELP then brings Kyle up to whip him, but Kyle reverses, and now ELP hits railing hard! Kyle then taunts the young fan ELP gave the glasses to! Kyle flexes while he soaks up that heat. Kyle points to ELP and the fans cheer. Kyle points to himself and the fans boo. Then repeat. Kyle brings ELP up, puts him in the ring, and Kyle stalks ELP to then rain down fists! Kyle soaks up more heat, acting like he doesn’t know why fans are upset. Kyle then calls to Callis. Callis walks over, they hug it out, and Kyle goes back to the ring. Kyle brings ELP up, but ELP fires body shots. ELP ROCKS Kyle as Collision goes to break!

Collision returns once again as the fans tell Callis off. Kyle scoops ELP but ELP slips free to shove and dodge for a springboard CROSSBODY! ELP keeps moving, LIONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Kyle survives but ELP fires up! The fans are with ELP, he brings Kyle up and in, then tucks the arms. Kyle wrenches free, whips ELP to a corner, but ELP dodges! ELP GAMANGIRIS, then ELP goes up and TORNADO DDTS! The fans fire up while both men are down, and then they cheer as ELP kips up! ELP hurries to a corner, tunes up, and SUDDEN- NO, Kyle stops the special superkick to spin ELP around! But ELP fights the half nelson!

ELP runs, but Kyle BOOTS him! ELP SOBATS! FRONT KICKS! But Kyle ROLLING ELBOWS! ELP ENZIGIRIS! ELP runs, but into a scoop and MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO! ELP survives and the fans fire up again! “This is Awesome!” as ELP goes to one corner and Kyle goes to the other. Kyle aims, runs in, and GAMA- NO, ELP ducks! Kyle tumbles up and out, then to the floor! ELP goes up, ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Direct hit and the fans fire up again! ELP rises, he stands on the desk, and Callis runs away as ELP tells him “SUCK IT!” The fans then cheer “E! L! P!” only for Kyle to snatch him! SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF on the floor!

Callis sheepishly returns as Kyle scoops ELP, and LAWN DARTS him into barriers! The ref checks on ELP as Callis says this is just a taste of what’s coming for Konosuke. ELP is somehow okay to continue, so the ring count starts. ELP sputters, but the count in AEW is only ten so he has to hurry! ELP stumbles around, flops over, but springs up at 9! Kyle is right on ELP for a LAST RIDE POWERBOMB!! Cover, TWO!! ELP survives and shocks everyone! Callis says the whole ring jumped from that powerbomb! The fans rally for ELP even harder, but Kyle just scowls as he stands back up. Kyle KICKS ELP, then stands him up to DECK him!

The fans boo but Kyle kicks ELP around again. ELP huffs ‘n’ puffs and comes back with a forearm, but he can’t put much behind it! Kyle mockingly applauds, but ELP LARIATS! Still nothing, and Kyle winds up. ELP dodges, runs, but Kyle dodges! ELP LARIATS through! The fans fire up as ELP throws off his elbow pads and hauls Kyle up! ELP tucks the arms, lifts, and C R 2!! Cover, TWO!! Kyle survives the Canadian Revolution 2 but ELP is not deterred! ELP goes to the corner, “This is Awesome!” as he climbs up. Kyle is still down, ELP aims, THUNDERKISS 86, onto knees! And then the suplex, but ELP cradle counters! TWO!!

Kyle is up, ELP rolls him again, TWO!! ELP tries a backslide, TWO!!! Kyle escapes by nanoseconds, and he KNEES ELP down! Kyle then scoops to LAWN DART ELP into buckles! And GAMANGIRI! And then with a roar, the BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, Kyle wins!

The Headbanga put up a fight, but he got too banged up to get back up! Callis joins Kyle in the ring, has them cut the music, and the fans boo as Callis says he has something important to say. Calils wants everyone to listen to this! Callis wants to talk about something he has learned a lot about the last few weeks, and that is betrayal! He wants to talk about Konosuke Takeshita! There is no lower form of life than someone who betrays their family! That’s what you did! And maybe everyone here needs a history lesson. When Callis found Konosuke, he was a nobody! Callis recruited Konosuke, coached him, and even paid him, and made him!

When they built this family on the ashes of Kenny Omega’s career, Konosuke was Callis’ “firstborn,” the chosen one to replace Omega. So starting on Wednesday, Callis will teach Konosuke a lesson, and THEY are gonna take everything from Konosuke, starting with that AEW International Championship. Because this Wednesday, Kyle BAH GAWD Fletcher takes back what is the Family’s property! But then Konosuke is here! Callis runs away, and Konosuke stands tall in the ring with the belt. Will it be the same when AEW arrives in Florida for Beach Break? Or can the Protostar come through on that promise?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, but did it need to be 2.5 hours? We still got great action, but of course Rush crushed Cruz and The Demand demolished those guys. For that matter, Rosa & Mina were of course winning against Zara & Becca. And while we did get great action from the Six Man Tag, are The Rascalz just here to take losses? They had a strong debut, but when are they gonna be serious contenders? Though I suppose with teams like The Demand, Shane Taylor Promotions, and more, it’s hard to have everyone stay strong. Good promo from Conglomeration with Konosuke, and I suppose that’s them teasing taking on all those teams all over the summer.

I do still wonder what is going on with The Dogs and Death Riders. Good promo from Gabe Kidd to try and frame it as they’re allies, but that then still begs the question how the Face/Heel dynamics work. After a great 8 Man Tag win for Cope and the Bang Bang Gang, The Dogs and Death Riders attacked, with only Moxley and Ospreay absent. How is it supposed to work when Ospreay is Face, and Moxley is this tweener that’s 60-40 in favor of Face, but clearly the others are okay with being Heels. I guess that doesn’t matter when all these factions are fighting to be the best, but it’d be easier to follow.

Great Women’s Casino Gauntlet related matches, with Rina looking incredible against Athena. Rina is only 19 years old, but because Japan, she started at like 11 or 12, so she’s already experienced. But I figured Athena and Maya would each win, that sets up a great start to the Casino Gauntlet. But at the same time, it feels like someone else is going to come around and win that for a fresh match-up with Thekla, and then Athena and Maya can settle their score for the ROH Women’s World Championship. Speaking of Thekla, very good promo from her tonight, and her saying Stardom is dead makes me think a Stardom entry might win that Casino Gauntlet.

And of course, great stuff with the Don Callis Family story. Andrade VS Cage was a great match, as was Fletcher VS ELP, and naturally Andrade and Fletcher each won. I would think Konosuke retains the title against Fletcher next week, but who knows. Andrade probably goes on a win streak against the Callis Family, maybe culminating in a huge match for Redemption like Andrade VS Okada, because holy crap that’d just be amazing.
