Wheeler Yuta says keep going, Ospreay, keep going! Time, and Ospreay stops punching the pads. They high-five it out, and Jon Moxley says quick playing grab ass. He doesn’t care what Hall of Fame Adam Copeland & Christian Cage belong to, Yuta & Garcia are not letting them off the hook. They dap it up, Yuta & Garcia head out, and Moxley sits with Ospreay. Moxley says most of the hard work is done. Ospreay won the Owen Hart Tournament and his neck is strong.

But these last few steps are the critical ones. Mistakes cost you everything. People make simple things so complicated. They get all the way to the end, the finish line, the target is in sight. Rapid heartbeat, beads of sweat, dry mouth. They hesitate. But Ospreay earned this. Ospreay earned this! There will be a critical time in his life, he’ll have to make hard decisions, but this dream is not a hard decision. It is simple. Take the shot. Don’t hesitate. Pull the trigger. AEW World Tag Team Championships: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage VS Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta!

Speaking of those Hall of Famers, The Rated R Superstar & Captain Charisma are ready to be fighting champions, and Boston is ready for a title fight! But will Cope & Cage still be the champions that reek of awesomeness? Or will the Dark Horses of the Death Riders run away with the win?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see can stand the summer heat!

The teams sort out and the fans already tell Yuta off. Yuta takes a bow as he soaks up the heat, then he steps to Cope. The bell rings, the two tie up, and Cope trips Yuta! Cope waits on Yuta, Yuta smirks as he stands up, and the two circle. Yuta goes for a leg but Cope headlocks back. Yuta powers Cope down, pulls hair, then grinds the arm. The fans rally for Cope while he endures, and Cope fights up. Yuta wrenches, headlocks, but Cope powers up and out. Cope drops down, hurdles over, then BOOTS Yuta down! The fans cheer while Yuta sputters. Tag to Cage and they double whip, but Yuta grabs ropes! Tag to Garcia!

The fans boo but Garcia eggs Cage on. They circle, tie up, and Garcia wrenches. Cage slips free and the fans chant, “He’s Your Father!” Cage and Garcia reset, circle, and tie up again. They’re in a headlock, but Garcia finds a point of leverage to power Cage to the corner. The ref counts, Garcia smothers Cage, but the ref backs him off. The fans boo Garcia but he eggs Cage on. They go again, and Cage dodges Garcia just to taunt him. Cage even puts up his dukes! The fans cheer, and then Cage just flips Garcia off. Garcia runs up but Cage fires haymakers! Cage whips, ELBOWS, and tag to Cope. They double whip to DOUBLE HIP TOSS!

The fans chant, “Who’s Your Daddy?” Cope puts Garcia in a corner, CHOPS, but Garcia CHOPS in return! Cope fires forearm sin return, then CHOPS again! Cope brings Garcia up, whips him corner to corner, then runs up. Garcia puts Cope outside, Yuta runs up, but Cope DECKS Yuta! Cope ROCKS Garcia, too, but then Yuta trips Cope up! The ref is busy with Garcia and Cage as Yuta mugs Cope in the apron skirt! Then Garcia joins in! The fans boo but Cage can’t do anything, and Cope is down while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Yuta taunts Cope while he brings him up. Yuta puts Cope in the ring, Garcia covers, TWO! Cope is tougher than that, but Garcia steps on him on the apron! The ref reprimands, Garcia steps off and argues with the ref, and that lets Yuta APRON LEG DROP! Cope sputters as he falls back to the floor, and Garcia goes out to fetch him again. Garcia clamps onto an arm, drags Cope around, then steps on the arm. Tag to Yuta and Yuta soaks up heat before he AX HANDLES Cope down! Yuta CHOKES Cope on the ropes, but stops as the ref counts 4. This lets Garcia CHOKE Cope! The ref has to stop Cage, but this all plays into the Death Riders’ hands!

Yuta snapmares Cope, covers, TWO! Cope is still tougher than all that, but Yuta drags Cope into a facelock. Cope endures, fights up, and lifts Yuta, but Yuta holds on! Yuta then THROWS Cope down by his hair! Tag to Garcia and the mugging continues! Cage can only scowl as Yuta & Garcia soak up heat. Garcia tags Yuta back in, the mugging continues, and Yuta tags Garcia right back in! They get more mugging in, put Cope in the corner, and Garcia climbs up. Garcia rains down fists, stops at nine to put up his dukes, but he drops away. Dynamite returns to single picture as the fans boo, but then Garcia clamps onto Cope with a SLEEPER!

Cope endures, reaches out, but Garcia brings him down. The fans rally, Cope fights up, and he fires body shots. Cope is free, but Garcia slips around to SLEEPER again! Cope endures, powers up to snapmare free, but Garcia dodge a lariat! Only to run into a SNAP POWERSLAM! A small shoutout to another great tag partner of Cope’s, and both Cope and Garcia are down. A standing count begins, and it reaches 5 before either man crawls over. Hot tag to Yuta and he CLOBBERS Cope! The fans boo but Yuta drags Cope back and HAMMERS away on Cope! Yuta RAMS Cope into a neutral corner, puts him up top, then climbs up to throw hands.

Cope fires body shots on Yuta, then BITES Yuta’s forehead! A very Death Rider move there, but Cope leaps. Yuta dodges, but Cope hot tags Cage! Cage rallies with haymakers on Yuta! Cage puts Yuta in a corner and rains down fast hands! Garcia runs up, he gets NINE, then TEN for Yuta! But Yuta turns things into an Electric Chair! Chge slipsfree, turns Yuta, but Yuta kicks low! Yuta swings, misses, and Cage REVERSE DDTS! Cover, TWO! Garcia runs up, Cage kicks him low, and THROWS him down into Yuta’s Decoder! Cage then has Yuta on the ropes to stand on him! The ref counts, Cage stops to slingshot and UPPERCUT!

Then Cage BACKDROPS Garcia on the floor! HOTSHOT for Yuta! Cage goes up, up, and DIVING HEADBUTTS! Cover, TWO! Yuta survives but Cage keeps his focus! But then Garcia attacks! cope jumps in, Yuta fires off on him! The Dark Horses whip, but C&C leap and LARIAT! Then fans fire up as Cope then LARIATS Garcia and himself out of the ring! Cage wants to undo a buckle pad?! The ref stops him, but then Cage goes to Yuta to LOW- NO! Yuta stops the low blow to GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Cage escapes that one, but Yuta is after him! Cage BITES Yuta’s forehead again! Cage goes up, up, but Garcia kicks the legs out!

Cage is stuck in the ropes, and the Cycle of Violence begins! ELBOW and LARIAT on repeat! Then they rugby huddle. The fans boo but then Yuta goes to undo the buckle pad! The ref stops Yuta, but Cage LOW BLOWS Garcia! And then Yuta sees what happened! POP-UP SPEAR!! Cover, C&C win!

Winners: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage, by pinfall (still AEW World Tag Team Champions)

The Young Bucks are in the crowd applauding the victory. Obviously, every team in AEW want those titles, but will Matt & Nick Jackson get their chance? Wait, THE DOGS attack! Finlay & Connors help Claudio mug C&C, ruining the celebration! Yuta CHOKES Cope, Finlay CLAWS Cage’s face, and the others get in shots where they can. The fans boo as The Dogs go after Cage’s bad arm! But then THE BANG BANG GANG hurries out here! The fans cheer as Austin, Colten, Ace & Juice all brawl with the Dogs & Death Riders! Things spill outside, Austin is sent into barriers, then Colten is added to that! Finlay has his shillelagh!

Finlay lines up a shot, but wait, JAY WHITE surprises Finlay! He takes the shillelagh, and grins as he steps to Finlay! Finlay runs away, Connors following after! The Switchblade made sure to be the trump card, but then Cage sees this and misunderstands. Cope explains what happened, and White lets Cope have the shillelagh. The fans chant “HUG IT OUT!” but Cage just nods and leaves it at this. Cope high-fives the Bang Bang Gang for making the save, and Finlay is upset White still has the shillelagh! Will The Dogs have to worry about their past coming back to haunt them before they can try for those titles again?

Given how Hikaru Shida crossed the line and sidelined Harley Cameron, Queen Aminata looks to avenge the Wild Aussie! And on top of that, she gets her shot at the AEW TBS Championship! Will the Queen finally have her crown? Or will TBS still stand for “The Best is Shida?”

Backstage interview with Andrade El Idolo.

Renee Paquette is with “The Real Latino Man,” and brings up that in his match against Jake Doyle, if Andrade wins, he gets a match with Mark Davis for the AEW National Championship. Andrade says if he has to fight every member of the Don Callis Family, he will. If he can take every title away from the Don Callis Family, he will! Because it is his destiny to become AEW World Champion! Well, there are a LOT of members in the DCF, Andrade knows that better than most. Is he not concerned about the numbers game? Andrade knows it can happen, but tranquila. He has this. A ring box. And inside, it’s the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Where’d he get that?!

Andrade says let’s just say he has a good friend. Is that friend Will Ospreay? Andrade just smiles and asks back, “How you know?” Renee wishes Andrade luck, but will that diamond insurance policy help Andrade get some gold?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Dynamite returns as Renee is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong as she brings up the AEW World Trios Championships are firmly in their hands. But there are a lot of trios who would love to have the gold. Roddy asks, “Well, where are they?” Cassidy says this is like the perfect time for someone to come up and challenge. And yep, The Demand steps in. Ricochet has Roddy cool down, they didn’t come here to fight them. And consider yourselves lucky for it, because if The Demand did, Conglomeration would already be put down. For that matter, they just heard Cassidy running his stupid mouth, so Ricochet wanted to shut him up as soon as possible.

Bishop Kaun says Conglomeration has been keeping the trios titles in their backpacks forever, which does the titles and the division a disservice. Time to put those belts on the waists of greatness. Toa Liona says allow them to take that weight off their shoulders. But as Liona reaches out, Roddy slaps the hand down! Ricochet has Liona stand down, and Kyle says these are the trios titles. There’s three and three, but then THE LETHAL TWIST attack! Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson do the dirty work for The Demand! Ricochet says look, he’s a man of his word. He told them The Demand wasn’t here to fight, but these three aren’t in Demand. Yet.

Ricochet and his crew throw up the threes, but will they take the titles from The Conglomeration? Or will they pay for the trickery soon enough?

AEW National Championship Stakes: Andrade El Idolo VS Jake Doyle!

As Andrade said, his mission is now to take down every member of the Don Callis Family and take everything from the Don Callis Family! But will he be able to demolish #DangerousDoyle? Or will his mission end before it can begin?

Andrade is showing off more than the Dynamite Diamond Ring, he also has two lovely ladies attend to his coat and mask. The bell rings and Doyle runs up to CLOBBER Andrade! The fans boo as Andrade tumbles out of the ring! Doyle eggs Andrade on, taunts the fans, and he goes out to fetch Andrade. The fans taunt Don Callis and he’s not even ringside! Andrade slowly sits up but Doyle is on him with forearms. Doyle puts Andrade in the ring, whips him corner to corner, then runs up, and SPLASHES! Andrade falls, Doyle soaks up the heat, then Doyle fires forearms. Doyle RAMS into Andrade, RAMS him again, then backs off as the ref counts.

Doyle runs corner to corner and SPLASHES! The fans boo Doyle but he goes corner to corner again for another SPLASH! Doyle then shoves Andrade around, whips him corner to corner, then runs up, but into a BOOT! Andrade goes up, FLYING RANAS, and Doyle tumbles out! The fans cheer, Andrade runs up, GAMANGIRI sends Doyle to the floor! Andrade then goes to the apron, runs up, and FLYING RANAS! Doyle tumbles again while Andrade stands up! The fans cheer, and they chant “How You Know!” A lovely lady in the front row waves to Andrade, and he takes off his “How You Know” shirt to reveal his (censored) F Don F MJF shirt.

Andrade takes a selfie with the lovely lady, the fans applaud, and Andrade throws his How You Know shirt to the upper deck! Nice catch! Andrade throws forearms on Doyle, puts him in the ring, and shows off the F Don shirt. The fans cheer as Andrade goes up a corner, but Doyle trips him up! Andrade tumbles to the mat while the fans boo, but Doyle stands him up. Andrade CHOPS, and CHOPS, and CHOPS! Andrade runs, but Doyle guzels! Doyle SHOVES Andrade out, goes out with him, and then APRON CHOKE SLAMS! Andrade writhes on the floor while Doyle soaks up heat, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref checks and Andrade is somehow able to continue after that. Doyle leaves Andrade behind for the ring count to handle. Andrade rises up slowly, but he still stands at 5 of 10. Andrade hobbles over, rolls in at 7, but Doyle is on him. Doyle SLAMS Andrade down, covers, TWO! Andrade is tougher than that but Doyle stalks him to the ropes. Doyle puts Andrade through the ropes to bend him back! The ref counts, Doyle lets go at 4, and Andrade sputters as he falls back into the ring. Doyle paces, runs, and KNEE DROPS! Cover, TWO! Doyle keeps Andrade down with a chinlock, Doyle grinds Andrade but Andrade endures.

Andrade fights around but Doyle wrangles him back down. Doyle puts all his weigh ton the hold but Andrade still endures. Andrade fights up, up, and he fires body shots. Andrade ROCKS Doyle, Doyle ROCKS Andrade, and Dynamite returns to single picture. The forearms go back and forth, the fans cheering Andrade and booing Doyle. Andrade gets the edge, bobs ‘n’ weaves, then fires more shots! Andrade eggs Doyle on, bobs ‘n’ weaves again, then CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Andrade runs, but Doyle CLOBBERS him! Then CLOBBERS him again! And CLOBBERS him again! But then Andrade ENZIGIRIS! The fans fire up while both men are down!

Another standing count starts, both men stir at 4 of 10, and slowly sit up at 5. The fans rally as Andrade rolls away to ropes. Andrade stands, runs up, and he LARIATS! And then he ducks ‘n’ dodges to FLYING FOREARM! The fans cheer Andrade as he kips up! Andrade takes off the F Don shirt and the fans cheer the muscles! Andrade throws the shirt, it falls short of the crowd, but Andrade slaps the thighs. The fans clap along, “SI! SI! SI!” Andrade goes corner to corner, but Doyle’s right up to BODY CHECK! The fans boo but Doyle vows to end this! Doyle runs at Andrade, but Andrade dodges! Doyle hits buckles!

Doyle falls out of the ring and the fans rally again. Andrade goes up, up, and ASAI MOONSAULTS! Direct hit on Doyle and the fans fire up! Andrade drags Doyle up, puts him in the ring, and the fans cheer “A E DUB!” for making this match possible. Andrade goes up to the apron, slingshots, and RAN- NO! Doyle stops the rana to swing Andrade for a SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO!! The fans cheer as Andrade survives! Doyle is frustrated, but he drags Andrade back up. But Andrade suplexes first! That’s Uno Amigo, then Dos Amigos! Andrade brings Doyle back up, Latino Heat for THREE AMIGOS! Cover, TWO!

Doyle is tougher than Three Amigos, and he goes to a corner. Andrade aims again and he goes corner to corner, CIEN KNEES! Direct hit and Andrade covers, TWO! But Andrade goes right to the corner! Andrade climbs up, gives more Latino Heat, and the fans cheer, only for Doyle to rise up! Andrade still leaps, but into a FOREARM! Doyle then stands Andrade up, just to DECK him! Cover, TWO!! Andrade survives and Doyle is furious! Doyle stands Andrade back up, whips him to ropes, then scoops, but Andrade swings through! Ghost pin, TWO!! Doyle escapes, but runs into DIA DE LOS MUERTOS! And then the DIRECT MESSAGE! Cover, Andrade wins!

The fans celebrate, and now, AEW Redemption will see Andrade go after the National Championship! Speaking of, Davis steps out on stage, swinging the belt around and egging Andrade on! But Andrade shows he still has the diamond ring! Andrade puts it back on his pinkie, and Davis stands down so he and Doyle can retreat. Will Andrade have his redemption when he takes that title from Davis? Or will Dunkzilla make sure Andrade’s vendetta ends in Montreal?

Dynamite returns with Tony Schiavone in the ring.

Schiavone welcomes us back to the great city of Boston, Massachusetts, and the ring is already decorated with Kenny Omega related memorabilia. It is Schiavone’s honor to introduce the NEW AEW Champion of the World, Kenny Omega! The fans cheer as The Cleaner indeed makes his entrance, the title around his waist! The new champ gets pyro, then he goes to the ring. Omega steps into the ring, and he admires the Omega arch with the collage of his best moments on it. But before he gets to speak, The Young Bucks make their way out here! They have something in a garment bag as they join Omega in the ring and hug it out.

The fans cheer “The! Elite! THE THE Elite!” Matt takes the mic to say he knows Kenny has a lot to talk about, so they’ll make this quick. They’ve been best friends in the business for nearly 20 YEARS! And last week, they saw Kenny do it! He won the big one, and all by himself! The fans cheer that! Matt says they are proud of Kenny, because he proved he is STILL the best pro-wrestler on the planet! But they gotta admit… Kenny wearing MJF’s belt peeves Matt. So they brought Kenny something! Nick reveals from inside the bag the CLASSIC AEW World Championship! Triple B is put away and #PrettyPlatinum shines again!

Matt says, “Ladies and gentlemen: Kenny Omega!” The fans cheer, and Kenny has the mic to say, “Unbelievable. One thousand, one hundred, some odd days. It’s been so long, I can’t even quote the real number. But it’s been so long that I wasn’t even sure if I could hold this ever again.” The fans chant, “You Deserve It!” Kenny soaks that in, and some late pyro goes off. Kenny says, “Well why the heck not?” But one thing, the difference maker wasn’t just Kenny believing in himself, or The Bucks believing in him. It was in his friends, family, and even the extended AEW family, the fans, believing in him! If not for you, he would’ve given up a long time ago.

Kenny says this wasn’t something that was every supposed to happen, trust him, and yet here we are! The fans cheer again, and Kenny says here we are with less than 50 days remaining until Wembley Stadium. And as much as he’d love to say he’s ready, Kenny admits there is still work to do. But just like with the journey of gaining this back, he knows that in 50 days time, they will see the best version of Kenny Omega there has EVER been in AEW! And then Will Ospreay makes his entrance! The fans fire up and Kenny is certainly surprised as the Aerial Assassin goes to the ring. Ospreay gets himself a mic, and he says, “Thank you, Boston!

“Bucks, long time no see. Glad you guys landed on your feet after I cost you guys your perks, but had to be done. Would you mind if I just have a little one on one conversation with my boy, Kenny Omega, right now?” Omega assures The Bucks it is fine, so Matt & Nick step out. The fans sing for Ospreay, and he asks Boston that he wishes to talk on their behalf. The fans cheer, and Ospreay says for himself, as well, it is really good to see Kenny Omega as AEW World Champion again. The fans cheer that! Ospreay says at one point, he really thought Kenny had given up. It didn’t much how much Ospreay or the fans believed in Omega, Omega needed to believe in Omega.

Omega still needed to believe he could be that Kenny Omga. Osperay was there front and center as Omega fought for 25 minutes in that heat, scraping at every single minute, and he never gave up once! The fans cheer again, and Ospreay says he was there, on stage, he saw Omega get hit with the belt, and we though that was it. We thought the dream waws over with, and then Omega kicked out at one, ya cheeky slag! Ladies and gentlemen, The Cleaner is back! The Best Bout Machine is back! One of the greatst to have ever done this is back! The fans cheer all that! Ospreay wants to say this to Omega because as we get closer, it’s gonna heat up.

These are two alpha males fighting for a title, but Ospreay wants to say this man to man, just them: For ten years, Omega has been Ospreay’s hero. Ospreay got to see Omega wrestle in Tokyo Dome and around the world, and Omega has inspired Ospreay to be the best wrestler he can be. Ospreay can only thank Omega every single time he steps into the ring, because it is a tribute to the beautiful work Omega has done. When Ospreay thinks of AEW, he thinks of Kenny Omega. All Ospreay ever wanted to be was a fraction of the wrestler Omega was, but bruv, we’re locked in now, and Ospreay ain’t happy with being second.

Omega says nor should he be. Ospreay admits he won’t. But here’s what we’re gonna do, boss man. We’re gonna keep it going and going. Every single week, they’re gonna show every single fan why they’re in the position they’re in. This is Ospreay’s dream come true! They can properly say this is the real-life Goku and Vegeta! The fans like that! Ospreay says then, August 30th, Wembley Stadium, main event, AEW World Championship, let’s show ’em that this IS where the best wrestle! Ospreay offers a handshake, Omega goes to take it, but then Kevin Knight interrupts! The fans boo as The Jet steps out on stage, wagging his finger.

Knight has a mic, and he steps into the ring. Omega says nah, don’t be shy! Join the party! Knight says he doesn’t mean to break up the brotherly love fest here, but bruv, Knight and Omega have some talking to do, champion to champion. Ospreay says yeah, okay, and then he mockingly slumps over into the corner. Omega says Ospreay can stay! What’s Knight got? Knight says congrats to Omega, and he knows while Omega and Ospreay wanna get it on at Wembley, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The Jet is still owed a world title shot, courtesy of Maxwell Jacob Fraud-man. Obviously MJF ain’t here to give Knight that shot, but there is still a debt to be paid.

Knight says Omega is the Wrestling God, the Best Bout Machine, but what’s a god to a non-believer? The fans boo, mostly because Knight’s referencing Kanye. Knight says The Jet is ready to become Jet2Belts! How about this? Knight VS Omega, Redemption, for the world title! The fans say “NO! NO! NO!” Omega says first of all, Knight can back up at least two steps, okay? Second, Knight brought up something pretty interesting. Omega’s actually glad Knight is out here because Omega needs to get this off his chest. Knight brought up a promise made to him by Maxwell Jacob Friedman, and he’s trying to hold Omega to MJF’s word?

Knight wants Omega to honor a promise made by MJF, and that’s pretty funny because why would Omega do that just because MJF promised it? They’re not gonna do that. But what they are gonna do is maybe, just maybe, Omega will give Knight a shot just because Omega’s a nice guy! Just because that the first day Omega laid eyes upon Knight, he saw something special. Knight nods and Omega says the first day he saw Knight, he saw IT! That undeniable factor that only a superstar possesses. He saw someone that looked the part, that was faster than everyone else, that could jump higher than everyone else, and most importantly, someone who was hungry!

But that’s where it ended, because… Knight had to go and do something just so silly like aligning with Don Callis. Omega would be a hypocrite if he told everyone here that he didn’t ever believe in that siren song. He’d be a hypocrite if he said he believed Callis would lead him to the Promised Land, because believe Omega, 1000+ days ago, it was because of Don Callis that he held this title for the first time! He remembers that party, too! It was during Pandemic Era where we were all told to stay indoors. And when no one showed up to the party, Omega though tit was because no one could. But truth be told, no one would’ve shown up for that guy.

No one cheered that guy, no one believed in that guy, and no one was proud of that guy! The fans fire up as The Relentless One still wants his pound of flesh from Knight, but then Brian Cage CLOBBERS Darby! The fans boo but here come Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta! RPG Vice also brings Hechicero, but a HIDDEN BLADE handles Rocky while Kenny’s SNAP DRAGON gets Trent! RPG Vice is in retreat, but they’re still outnumbered! Until THE DEATH RIDERS rush out here! Moxley & Claudio stand with Ospreay, and in a sense, by Omega. The Don Callis Family stands down, these numbers are not good enough for them. But will Ospreay and Omega be able to focus on their fight with all these other names wanting in on the fun?

Then Bandido looks to Brody, he says he’s got this, but Comoroto shoves Bandido. Bandido aims his finger gun, then dodges a lariat to fire fast hands! Bandido runs, but Comoroto trophy lifts him! The fans do cheer the strength, but Bandido slips free to shove, and BANDIDO trophy lifts Comoroto! Then the press SLAM! The fans fire up, and now Bandido tags Brody. Brody helps Bandido up onto his shoulders for the SPLASH! Then the SENTON! Cover, Solow breaks it!

The fans boo but Brody kicks Solow. Tag to Bandido, and they whip Solow to a corner. Brody sends Bandido in for a LARIAT! Then Brody adds as LARIAT! Uno, dos, tres, but then Solow puts up his guard! Brody kicks Solow, Bandido KICKS, then they DOUBLE CHOP! The fans cheer as Bandido then sends Solow to Brody to send back, and Bandido FLAPJACK HOTSHOTS Solow! Solow staggers into a BIG back suplex! Comoroto runs up, but Brody scoops him to SLAM him onto Solow! Then Bandido goes up, Latino Heat, and FROG SPLASH! Cover, Brodido wins!

Backstage interview with Kyle Fletcher & Don Callis.

Renee Paquette is with the Protostar and The Jackal as she brings up the challenge was put out and then answered for tonight’s title match. Komander stepped up, does Kyle feel ready for him? Kyle mockingly says back, does he feel ready? Of course he is ready! He is ready to put- Oh, Brodido steps in, all fired up from the win, but they didn’t realize the interview was gonna be right at gorilla. They apologize but Kyle is offended. Brodido heads off to celebrate, Kyle heads out to make his entrance. Will the Aussie Arrow take it out on the Ace of Space? Or will Komander just take this title?

AEW International Championship: Kyle Fletcher w/ Don Callis & Lance Archer VS Komander!

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who’s really ready for this moment!

Callis of course joins commentary and says those “cabronies” should stay away from the family. The bell rings, Komander and Kyle circle, and they feel things out. Komander rolls, KICKS, then backs away. Kyle shakes it off, resets with Komander, and they circle. Komander KICKS the leg, Kyle frowns, but the fans continue to rally. Komander kicks, Kyle blocks, and he scoops, but Komander slips free! Komander waistlocks, Kyle switches, but Komander arm-drags free! Komander ducks ‘n’ dodges to wheelbarrow and roll to cover, TWO!! Kyle escapes just in time and he knows it! It also pisses him off!

Kyle runs up, Komander DUMPS him out, and Komander builds speed. Kyle hurries away but Komander handsprings back. The fans are torn but Kyle assures Callis that he’s smarter than that. But then Komander goes up, out, and CROSSBODIES, only for Kyle to catch him! SNAKE EYES off the apron, then a BOOT to flip Komander inside-out! The fans are torn as Kyle stands tall on the railing, but he gets plenty of heat from Boston. Kyle stands Komander up, puts him in, and the fans again insult Callis. Callis and Kyle hug it out to reassure each other, then Kyle goes back to the ring. Kyle drags Komander up and brings him around.

Komander fires body shots and forearms, but Kyle smiles and applauds. Then he LARIATS Komander right down! The fans are torn as Kyle flexes, but he goes back to drag Komander up. Kyle whips Komander corner to corner, but Komander goes up, up, over, and handsprings just to show off! Kyle runs up, but Komander dodges, and Kyle ends up tumbling out of the ring! Komander goes to a corner, and he tightrope walks, SPACE WALK MOONSAULT! The fans are thunderous from that direct hit, but both men are down as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Komander rises, he says he’s getting that belt, and he goes back to the ring. Kyle coughs and sputters as he sits up, but he shakes out the stars. Kyle hobbles around, rolls into the ring, but Komander also hobbles from a jam in his leg. Komander shakes it out, but Kyle scoops and SLAMS! Kyle smirks as he leans on the ropes, then he goes back to Komander. Kyle stalks Komander, JUMP STOMPS him down, then JUMP STOMPS again! Komander sputters, the ref counts, but Kyle JUMP STOMPS again! Kyle steps on Komander, talks trash, but steps off as the ref counts. Kyle takes a bow to taunt the fans, then he goes back to Komander.

Kyle drags Komander up, soaks up heat while he smothers Komander, then CHOSP! Komander stumbles and falls while Kyle soaks up more heat. Kyle stalks Komander to a corner, Dynamite returns to single picture, and Kyle pushes Komander around. Kyle eggs Komander on, slaps him around, but Komander CHOPS! Kyle laughs that off, eggs Komander on, and dares him to do that again. Komander fires a forearm, then another forearm, but Kyle says one more try. The fans fire up for Komander , and he BODY BLOWs, then KICKS, KICKS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! The fans fire up, but Kyle shrugs it all off! But then Komander SUPERKICKS!

Kyle sits down, Komander runs up, but Kyle puts him on the apron! Kyle GAMANGIRIS Komander, then goes up the corner. Kyle borrows a page out of Brian Cage’s book, deadlift SUPERPLEX, but Komander slips free! ENZIGIRI! And a CHOP! Kyle felt that one! Komander CHOPS again, and CHOPS again! Kyle sputters, Komander runs up, TRIANGLE JUMP RANA! The fans are fired up again while Kyle flounders away! The fans rally, Komander builds speed, and Callis warns Kyle, but Komander still FLYING RANAS Kyle into the desk! Kyle coughs and sputters, Komander puts him in the ring, and “This is Awesome!” as Komander goes back up!

Komander aims from the corner, vows to end it here, and he 450 SPLASHES! Cover, TWO!! Kyle survives the aerial assault and Komander is stunned! The fans rally harder and harder as Komander stomps Kyle around. Komander flexes, he brings Kyle up, and he goes to suplex, but Kyle stops it! Kyle suplexes, but Komander KNEES free! Then SUPERKICKS from the corner! Kyle is down, Komander goes up! Komander aims, CIELITO- NO, Kyle sweeps Komander’s legs! But Komander handsprings through! And he 619s the ribs! Then a springboard, FLYING DESTROYER!! Cover, TWO!!! Kyle survives and no one can believe it!

Boston is losing their minds while Komander crawls. Kyle grabs a foot, Komander kicks him away, then Komander goes to the ropes. SUPERKICK! Komander fires up, the fans are with him, and he runs, but into a scoop! MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Komander survives, but Kyle hurries to get him up! Scoop and- NO, Komander slips free! Kyle hits buckles, Komander QUEBRADAS, but Kyle stops that to swing Komander into a BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, Kyle wins!

An instant classic that was fast and wild! But Kyle is not done, he CLAWS at Komander’s mask! The fans boo as Kyle RIPS at the mask, a message to Bandido for earlier! But then wait, KONOSUKE TAKESHITA is here! He fires off hands with Kyle and the fans are loving it! Konosuke ROCKS Kyle, dodges a shot, and ALPHA ELBOWS Kyle down! The fans go nuts as the Alpha picks up the International Championship. He looks at Kyle, tells him he wants this belt back, but then KAZUCHIKA OKADA is here! RAINMAKER!! Okada lost the title to Konosuke, he gets his own payback now! But then Okada and Kyle each touch the title…

The fans love the tension here, but wait! Bandido returns! DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICK! And Brody joins in, DOUBLE DIVE on to #Protokada! #Brodido gets one over on Protokada, and Konosuke appreciates the help. Bandido even gets a chance to hold up the International title! Will Okada and Kyle have to worry about far more than just their grudge with Konosuke?

Backstage interview with Kenny Omega.

Renee says it was rather chaotic out there earlier, to say the least. Now, it might be Omega VS Knight for the AEW World Championship at Redemption? Omega says in AEW, there’s no shortage of credible challengers. This could be the goose egg on his head talking, but he does still see some of that potential in Knight. Omega hasn’t given up hope, but- Darby Allin interrupts and says Omega doesn’t get it! Knight’s not gonna change overnight, he needs to be humbled. You can waste time trying to talk, but next week, Darby’s taking that TNT Championship. Waste your time talking, or beat it out of Knight. What’s Omega gonna do?

Omega says he’ll leave it to Darby. Darby heads out, will he once again be the Face of TNT? And then in steps Moxley! He says Darby’s right. Some people are what they are, they can’t pretend they’re something else. Even if they try. Moxley leaves one direction, Omega leaves the other. Who will be proven right with their actions?

Dynamite returns with Renee Paquette on stage.

She welcomes us back to Boston now, and says that Boston needs to stay loud as they welcome out… The Brawling Birds! Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter make their entrance, and they both say hello to Renee. Renee says it is fair to say that the Birds are back! Hayter says oi, oi, Boston, do they care for a couple words with the Birds? The fans cheer, and Windsor says that while they’re a long way from England, if there is anyone else about drinkin’ and fightin’, it’s the people of Boston! The fans cheer that, too! Hayter says they had some pints at Whitey’s on West Broadway, and it was a bloody good time!

Windsor says the one thing is, the World Cup… England let them down! The fans are torn on that, but Hayter says hey, AEW Sickos, fear not! They promise us this: These two Brits with tits won’t ever let you down! Ever! And with All In on the horizon, it’s so close, they can taste it! And they vow to knock the blocks off and beat the piss outta anyone to prove they are THE best tag team in AEW! The fans like the sound of that! Hayter says having said that, not much else to say. So Boston, let’s go get piss drunk!? First rounds on them! The fans like that, too! Hayter & Windsor head out, will they find their path home to Wembley?

Chris Jericho speaks.

“Ciampa! Last week on Dynamite, you left me bloodied and battered. And I liked it. So let’s do it again July 26th at Redemption! But let’s raise the stakes, shall we? You bring the pain, and I’ll bring the Painmaker!” Jericho is wearing the face paint, and he says Hell’s coming for you, Ciampa!

Tommaso Ciampa responds.

“Tommaso Ciampa is better than Chris Jericho. At Redemption, we’re gonna find out if the Painmaker is better than the Psycho Killer. Challenge accepted! But before we get there… I have one more night in my hometown. So this Saturday night on Collision, Painmaker, I want you watching. Anybody out there who wants to make a name for themselves, the Psycho Killer will be waiting. Welcome to the city of champions, AKA the City of Ciampa!” These two are on a collision course for Montreal, will there be no redemption for what these two are gonna do to each other?

Because of the fight that broke out earlier, these two are gonna keep on fighting here in Boston! Will Darby truly be relentless? Or can The Machine put him down once and for all?

Well, Darby doesn’t even wait for a bell! He rushes up and SHOTGUNS Cage! Cage stumbles, the bell rings, but he runs up on Darby. Darby DUMPS Cage out and DIVES, only to bounce off Cage’s muscles! “Who betta than Cage?!” The fans rally as Cage then whips Darby hard into the railing! Cage drags Darby up, whips him into more railing, then flexes. The fans boo but Cage drags Darby up. Cage reels Darby in, suplexes, and then walks up the steps! The fans cheer the feat of strength, and then Cage SLAMS Darby on the ramp! The fans boo as Cage flexes this time. Cage then drags Darby up, puts him through the ropes, and he deadlift SUPERPLEXES to the ramp!

The fans are torn but even Cage has to take a moment before he rises up. “Who betta than Cage, huh!?” Darby sputters but Cage kicks him along into the ring. Cage drags Darby up, scoops him, and does bicep curls with him! Then he pops Darby up to a fireman’s carry, and F500! Darby sputters, Cage flexes, but the fans boo as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Cage pushes Darby over to cover, TWO! Darby toughs it out like always, and he rolls out of the ring. Cage goes out the side, drags the steel steps around the way, then positions it just right. Darby stands, but he stumbles and staggers before he rolls back into the ring. Cage is right after him again, and puts him in a corner. Cage RAMS into Darby, RAMS again, then CHOPS! Darby sputters, staggers, and falls back down. Cage flexes, drags Darby up, and bumps him off buckles. Cage CHOPS again, but Darby SLAPS Cage! Cage HEADBUTTS Darby down! Cage drags Darby up, and he TOSSES Darby into the corner!

Darby writhes, Cage drags him back up, and then TOSSES him out of the ring. Cage goes out after Darby, and the steel steps stand nearby. Cage SNAKE EYES Darby off the railing, then stalks him as he stumbles away. Cage drags Darby up, makes him take a seat, then BOOTS him out of it! Cage dusts his hands off while Dynamite returns to single picture. Cage whips Darby at the steel steps, but Darby leaps over! Darby then uses the steps to get up and MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up as Darby climbs the corner, SUPER COFFIN SPLASH! Down goes Cage and the fans fire up! Darby rises, he stalks Cage into the ring, and Darby goes up a corner.

A fan shouts that Darby sucks but everyone else boos at that man! Cage ROCKS Darby, then climbs up the corner. Darby CLAWS Cage’s face, then hops on, SUPER CODE RED! Cover, TWO!! Cage survives and the fans can’t believe it! The fans rally up while Cage rolls to the ramp. Darby builds speed and DIVES right onto Cage! Darby rains down fists, but Cage shoves him away. Cage KNEES low, whips Darby at the ropes, then LARIATS him down! Cage huffs ‘n’ puffs, drags Darby up, and he looks to the floor. Cage military presses Darby, aims, and THROWS Darby at the post! Darby falls to the floor and the fans are freaking out!

Darby clutches and rubs his head, making sure it’s even still there. The ring count starts while Cage paces around. The fans boo but Darby is still down at 5 of 10! The count is rising, Darby’s still down at 7! At 8! Darby springs back in at 9, but Cage just YANKS him back out! Darby flops on the floor, and Cage slaps the steel steps. The fans boo Cage but he steps up. Cage grabs at Darby, but Darby trips Cage up! The fans fire up as Darby climbs again, COFFIN DROP on the steps!! The fans fire up as Darby leaves Cage behind now! The count climbs, Cage is down at 5 of 10, and doesn’t sit up until 8! Cage manages to lunge in at 9, but COFFIN DROP again!

And then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP AGAIN! Cover, Darby wins!

You want Kyle, Bandido? Kyle wants Bandido! For the first time ever, the Protostar VS The Outlaw, for the AEW International Championship at Redemption! Okada doesn’t seem too pleased, but will he choose his DCF brother’s success over his own?

Backstage interview with Kevin Knight & Don Callis.

Renee says next week, it is official! It will be Knight VS Darby for the TNT Championship in Nashville. Then, win, lose or draw against Darby, it WILL be Kenny Omega VS Kevin Knight for THE AEW World Championship! That is a lot on his plate, is he up for it? Callis says Knight can handle it! But Kenny, your first interview as world champion and you’re trying to be Callis, trying to play mind games! Knight is too smart for that. And oh woe is Omega! Callis gave you the world title and it was so sad~! Suck it up, buttercup! Everything good in Omega’s life is because of Callis. And if Knight wants to be #Jet2Belts, he better handle that punk for Callis.

Callis storms off, but then Speedball steps in! Mike Bailey tells Knight to relax, he’s just here to talk. Bailey hopes Knight knows this facade he’s putting on is not working. Knight better take Omega’s advice. Know that the people and Bailey love Knight enough that when he’s ready to go back to who he really is, they’ll take him back. Knight says he doesn’t need Bailey’s “love,” let him be. Bailey says okay, see you at Redemption. Bailey heads out, and is Knight already dealing with more than he can handle?

Will #ThatGirl and the Renaissance Woman help Willow smile against Mone, Megan Bayne & Lena Kross? Or will they all bow down to the champions?

The trios sort out and Willow starts against Mone. But then Mone runs away as Willow rushes her! Mone is in the ropes, the ref has Willow back off, and naturally Boston cheers the CEO. Mone circles with Willow, but then backs away to tag Megan. Megan then tags Lena, and all three step to Willow. But Willow says she can do that, too! Tag to Maya, tag to Hyan, and the trios stare down. Team Mone runs up, but Team Willow dodges! Willow chases after Mone while Maya & Hyan fire forearms and CHOPS! The Queen of Harts pulls out the victory from the jaws of defeat, and she regroups with Megan & Lena to gloat. They hold up their belts, and Mone says she doesn’t care if it’s Thekla or Willow, she’s getting what’s hers! Will nothing stop The CEO from taking over the world all over again?

My Thoughts:

A great episode of Dynamite here, but… Wow, do they want to be a three hour show so badly or what? Yes, Darby Allin is a big star, fans want to see him get brutalized yet still win against monsters like Brian Cage, but we didn’t need the match here. This could’ve been put on Collision to help fill those two hours. And while Collision has been doing better with matches that are good and “must-see,” way to say Collision still isn’t that by wringing 2 hours and 20 outta Dynamite. And for that matter, same goes for needing to have Don Callis, Kevin Knight, and Mike Bailey in a promo when we’ve gotten plenty of promos tonight.

The Kenny Omega “celebration” could’ve been more of a celebration than that, but I do appreciate they showed Kenny Omega being gifted the OG belt so they could get rid of “Triple B” for the time being. Great stuff with Ospreay, and while I could be a stickler for the exact metaphor of Goku and Vegeta here, I do appreciate Ospreay is such a classic anime nerd to use that reference at all. Knight trying to use MJF’s promise was definitely a rookie move, and Omega flipping the motivations was a bit odd. Knight VS Darby for the TNT title being on Dynamite, maybe Darby wins so that he defends the TNT title separately on Redemption, because AEW can’t leave anything off a PPV ever.

I also liked how Darby went after Knight, how Don Callis Family went after them, and then Death Riders supported Ospreay. I thought we were gonna get an 8 Man Tag for Collision but I think I saw it was just a Six Man where Claudio sits out. Moxley had a good bit in the promo with Omega and Darby backstage, and the trio of Moxley, Ospreay and Omega is gonna be killer. Andrade might even be an odd ally in all this since he got the diamond ring. Great match with Doyle, great win for Andrade because duh, and he’ll have a great match with Davis at Redemption. Very good promo from Jack Perry, he’ll have a great match with whoever answers the challenge.

At first, Brodido having a match seemed like filler. To be fair, it was a rather one-sided squash. But then their interaction with Kyle Fletcher definitely teased the International Championship match. Fletcher VS Komander was awesome stuff, and throwing Konosuke and Okada into the mix, I almost thought we were getting something bigger. But no, Konosuke is committed to the G1 Climax right now. I think we can see a great Triple Threat of Fletcher, Okada, and Konosuke at All In so that they can all fight over the International Championship and settle their alpha male sibling rivalry score at the same time.

I didn’t mind getting Cope & Cage VS Yuta & Garcia for the tag titles tonight, but it also seemed outta nowhere. Granted, it at least shows C&C are fighting champions, and they certainly defend these belts more than the tag teams in WWE… The Bucks were there to tease their challenge for All In, but Death Riders continue to ride the Tweener line with them and Dogs beating down C&C as Heels. Bang Bang Gang was great with the save, and Jay White stealing the shillelagh is great. Shillelagh on a Pole match between Finlay and White perhaps? Very good promo from Conglomeration with Demand and Lethal Twist, and it feels like Conglomeration will face Lethal Twist as the tune-up before facing Demand for the trios titles.

Good promo from Hayter & Windsor, but again, they shoved this on here as if to say Collision isn’t good enough. But c’mon, this is clearly to keep in mind that The Brawling Birds are going for the tag titles at All In. Great Six Woman Tag main event, but of course Mone & Divine Dominion won out, they’re staying strong until we get things like Brawling Birds VS Divine Dominion at All In. I almost thought Triangle of Madness would show up to close the night, but I believe they were busy “crashing” a Stardom press conference this week. Maybe a Six Woman Tag of Triangle VS Mone & Dominion is for after Redemption, regardless of what happens between Willow and Thekla.
