The bell rings and the two circle. The fans rally up, the two tie up, and Oskar powers Wolf to the ropes. The ref counts, Oskar lets off, but then Wolf dodges the chop. Wolf THROWS Oskar down, then stands over him. The fans applaud, but Oskar is already annoyed. Oskar swings, misses, and Wolf CHOSP! Wolf dodges again, then CHOPS, CHOPS, and whips, only for Oskar to block! Oskar whips Wolf to a corner, runs in, but Wolf dodges! Wolf LARIATS Oskar, then brings him around. Oskar fights the fireman’s carry, KNEES low, then Oskar scoops to SLAM Wolf! The fans cheer while Oskar paces.

Oskar stomps Wolf around, then drags him up. Wolf fires forearms, but Oskar CHOPS him back! The fans cheer, Oskar CLUBS Wolf, then CLUBS him again! Even before getting in the ring, Henare stares Ren down. Henare sets his three championships down, as well as his entrance attire, then he rushes the ring! Ren runs away but Henare gives chase! But then Dick Togo attacks! Henare barely even budges! The ref reprimands Dick, but Ren has a chair! Henare grabs Ren first, throw shim into the ring, and fires forearms! The bell rings as Henare whips, but Ren BOOTS Henare! Henare ROCKS Ren, runs, and RUNS Ren over! The fans fire up for Henare as he stomps Ren around. Henare drags Ren up, HEADBUTTS, then CHOPS! The fans cheer while Ren is stinging, but Henare fireman’s carries.

Ren drags Henare up, puts him in the ring, then stomps him around. The fans rally for Henare, but Ren drags Henare up. Henare fires body shots but Ren kicks low! Ren runs to NECKBREAKER DROP! Henare huffs ‘n’ puffs and hobbles over. Henare drags Ren up, winds up, and LARIATS! Ren stays standing, but Henare LARIATS again! Ren sits down, the fans fire up, and Henare runs. Henare storms up on Ren to BODY BLOW! Henare fires off furious fists and kicks from all over! Henare HEADBUTTS away on Ren, but Dick sneaks in! SPOILER’S CHOKER! Henare fights that and THROWS Dick away!! The fans fire up as Henare then guzels Ren! And guzels Dick! Meeting of the minds, and then DOUBLE LARIATS! The fans fire up for Henare again, and he drags Ren up. Henare runs to LARIAT Ren inside-out! Cover, TWO! Ren survives, but Henare snarls as he drags Ren back up. The Prince is coming off a mighty main event win last round, but 44 Caliber is red hot after getting through the Heat Storm. It’s another Battle of the Brits, but who will be riding that Ebara Wave of momentum while the other wipes out?

Callum takes his time with his jacket, and he mocks Drilla with barking. The bell rings and the two run up! Callum trips Drilla but Drilla avoids the double stomps! Drilla CHOPS, dodges, then CHOPS again! Callum bails out, but Drilla runs to WRECK him with a dropkick! Callum is sent into railing, then he staggers away into the crowd. Drilla pursues and throws hands. The fans rally as Drilla CHOPS Callum, then SMACKS him off a chair! The fans cheer but Callum wants mercy. But then Callum CLAWS Drilla’s eyes and KNEES low! Callum brings Drilla around, and they go up into the stands! Drilla UPPERCUTS Callum!

Drilla HEADBUTTS Callum, and the fans cheer as this continues up into the bleachers. Drilla LARIATS away on Callum against the railing, and the fans cheer as Drilla goes to TEN! The ref reprimands and wants this in the ring. Callum kicks Drilla, then tells fans to clear out! The Young Lions hurry to get fans out of the way, and Callum reels Drilla in! Drilla fights the suplex, tries to suplex first, but Callum fights back! They go back and forth, but Callum KENES low! The fans return to their seats as Callum brings Drilla down the stairs. Callum CLAWS Drilla’s face, but stops as the ref reprimands.

The fans rally and duel, but Callum brings Drilla back to ground level. They go to another part of the crowd, and Callum has fans clear out again. Callum gets space, and he runs back in, but Drilla THROWS Callum into the chairs! The fans fire up as Drilla stands tall! Drilla snarls but the fans cheer him on, and Drilla fetches Callum. Drilla then brings Callum to another spot in the crowd, and he has those fans clear out! But Callum CLAWS Drilla’s face! Drilla CHOPS Callum and Callum flops over the railing. Drilla stands Callum up, but Callum ROUNDHOUSES! Callum tries this again, and he goes the full way to FLYING DROPKICK!

The fans fire up as both men are down in the chairs! Callum stands up, but he takes a seat to catch his breath. The fans cheer but the ref still wants this back in the ring. Callum leaves Drilla behind, mocking the fans who cheer Drilla on. The ring count is already 5 of 20 but Drilla is still down. Callum rests and waits as the count reaches 10. Drilla is still down but the fans rally harder. Drilla stirs at 13, sits up at 15, and the fans cheer him on! But Drilla flounders in the chairs! Drilla hears 17 and hurries back! Drilla rolls in at 19 and the fans cheer! Callum is annoyed, but he goes over to Drilla to stomp him down.

Callum mockingly asks if Drilla is okay, then digs his boots in! The ref counts, Callum stops at 4, then he drags Drilla up. Callum snapmares Drilla for a chinlock, and even traps an arm. The fans rally as Drilla endures. Drilla fights around, but Callum pushes him down to SCRAPE his soles off Drilla’s face! The ref reprimands but Callum doesn’t care. Callum waits for Drilla to sit up, then KICKS him in the chest! Drilla scrambles out of the ring and Callum lets the count start. Drilla is up at 3 of 20 and back in the ring. The fans cheer but Callum taunts Drilla, before he stomps him down! Callum then eggs Drilla on, saying he gets a free shot.

Drilla CHOPS and Callum sputters a bit, but he comes back. Drilla CHOPS again, and CHOPS again, but Callum KNEES low! Callum runs, but into a DROPKICK! The fans cheer as both men go to corners. Drilla snarls, runs corner to corner, but blocks a boot. Callum enzigiris, but Drilla ducks the heel kick, only for Callum to ROCK Drilla! Drilla ducks the roundhouse, waistlocks, ripcords, but Callum ducks the chop to POISON-RANA! Callum calls his shot, but Drilla jumps to the ropes with him! SUPER RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Then the DRILLA KICK! Both men are down and the fans fire up again!

Drilla rolls to the outside, then fires back up. The fans are with him as he goes to the corner and climbs up. Callum rises, makes it to the corner and anchors a leg. Drilla stands Callum up to CHOP! Callum ROCKS Drilla in return! Callum climbs up, goes to the very top, but Drilla fires body shots! Callum GAMANGIRIS in return! Drilla is stuck up top, Callum goes back up after him. The fans rally as Callum goes to the very top again, but Drilla fires another body shot, then a HEADBUTT! Callum fires more shots, but Drilla trips Callum! Callum falls off the corner and the fans cheer Drilla! Drilla adjusts, and he MACHO ELBOWS!

The fans fire up with Drilla again as he barks. Drilla aims from a corner, runs up, but Callum catches Gore into facelock and- NO, Drilla RAMS Callum, but into the ref! Callum ducks a chop, Drilla hurdles over the dropkick, but Callum drops to drop down. Callum hurdles into a POWERBOMB! Drilla drags Callum up, Canadian Rack, but ZANE JAY slips in! Zane saves Callum, but then Drilla shoves him into Callum! Daiki Nagai springboards to FLYING RANA! The fans fire up as Daiki then runs to tilt-o-whirl DDT Callum!! And then DRILLA KICK!! Cover, but Zane YANKS the ref out! The fans boo but Daiki BLASTS Zane!

The fans fire up as Daiki builds speed, and he DIVES! Direct hit into Zane and Zane tumbles over the railing! Drilla aims at Callum, THE GORE!! Cover, TWO?!? Callum survives and Drilla is furious, but the fans rally even harder! Drilla feeds off the energy, and he drags Callum up. Callum fights free, shoves Drilla at the ref, then LOW BLOWS! PRINCE’S CURSE! Cover, TWO!!! Drilla survives and Callum is beside himself! The fans rally harder still as Callum sits up. Callum peels away the shoulder tape, takes off his armbands, and unwraps his wrist tape. Callum shows off the tattoo, and he drags Drilla up.

Callum smothers the tattoo into Drilla’s face, then winds up. Drilla SPITS at Callum! So Callum KNEES Drilla down! Cover, ONE!! Drilla is right up, Callum LARIATS, but Drilla stays up! KISS THE CROWN! Cover, TWO!! Callum hurries, KISS THE CROWN! And then fireman’s carry, MAKE- NO, Drilla lands out, slips through, and DRILLA KILLA!!! Cover, DRILLA WINS!!

And yet another Battle of the Brits, as The Front Man is looking for a rebound from last round while The Mad Man is looking to put NJPW down. Will Gabe prove AEW Ichiban? Or will ZSJ make this Dog #JustTapOut?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two stare down. They step up, they feel things out, and clinch. They go around as the fans continue to rally. ZSJ headlocks but Gabe puts him on the ropes. The ref counts the break, but Gabe goes for a leg. ZSJ still holds onto the headlock, but the ref reprimands. The two separate, and the fans applaud as they reset. They feel things out, clinch, and Gabe facelocks. ZSJ wrenches out, they clinch again, and now ZSJ puts Gabe on the ropes. The ref counts, Gabe pushes ZSJ away, and the fans applaud. Gabe stays by the ropes for a moment, but then he and ZSJ reset. They clinch again, fight for control, and Gabe puts ZSJ on the ropes.

The ref again calls for the break but Gabe pushes against ZSJ. ZSJ still has the headlock, but then Gabe goes back to the clinch. They let go, Gabe slaps ZSJ, so ZSJ slaps Gabe! Gabe drags ZSJ up, lifts him up, and puts him on the ropes! HANGING GUILLOTINE! The ref counts, Gabe lets go, and he CHOPS ZSJ on the back! Gabe then takes a swing, but ZSJ catches him into a HANGING TRIANGLE! But Gabe BITES ZSJ’s leg! ZSJ lets go, is pissed off over that, but Gabe runs up to DECK ZSJ! ZSJ falls to the floor, and the fans boo as Gabe flexes. Gabe SPITS at the fans, goes to the apron, and flexes again. Gabe goes over to ZSJ, stands him up, and taunts the fans cheering ZSJ on. Gabe CHOPS ZSJ, brings him through the gate and into the crowd! Gabe makes ZSJ takes a seat, and CHOPS!

Gabe storms around, takes a fan’s TMDK towel and THROWS it away! The fans boo, but then Gabe POSTS ZSJ! Gabe tells the ref to calm down, then he stands ZSJ up. Gabe CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Gabe CHOKES ZSJ against the apron, CHOPS again, then pushes him down. The fans rally for ZSJ, even as Gabe taunts him. Gabe UPPERCUTS, but now ZSJ’s mad! ZSJ UPPERCUTS and Gabe wobbles! ZSJ UPPERCUTS again, and again, but Gabe BITES ZSJ’s forehead! The ref reprimands and counts, Gabe stops, and Gabe SPITS at Kushida on commentary! The fans boo but Gabe goes back to ZSJ.

Gabe puts ZSJ in the ring, does push-ups just to show off, then stomps him! Gabe cravats for a neck wrench, really puts on the pressure, but ZSJ endures. Gabe shifts, then CLAWS ZSJ’s face! And ELBOWS him in the head! The fans boo but Gabe tells the fans off. Gabe stands ZSJ up, CHOPS him to a corner, then CHOPS again! ZSJ leans against the ropes, Gabe taunts the fans, then Gabe CHOPS ZSJ again! Gabe scrapes his laces off ZSJ’s face, then eggs him on. Gabe tries again, but ZSJ DRAGON SCREWS the leg this time! The fans cheer while Gabe scrambles away. ZSJ storms up, gets a leg, and DRAGON SCREWS! Then ZSJ steps on the leg to go for an arm.

ZSJ twists the wrist, isolates the arm, and STOMP! The fans cheer, Gabe shakes out his arm, but ZSJ grabs the bad leg. ZSJ twists the foot, turns Gabe over, then hooks the legs up. Gabe resists as ZSJ goes for his arms, and the fans rally as ZSJ STOMPS the knees! The fans cheer while Gabe writhes and clutches his knee. ZSJ KICKS Gabe in the back, then pushes him down, for a NECK TWIST! The fans cheer while Gabe goes to the ropes. ZSJ waits on Gabe, Gabe dares ZSJ to grab a leg. ZSJ steps on the other leg, Gabe talks trash even now, but ZSJ grabs the bad leg, and TWISTS! The ref reprimands as Gabe is still in the ropes, but ZSJ then YANKS the leg!

The fans cheer while ZSJ lets go, but Gabe is just mad again. ZSJ waits on Gabe but Gabe can barely stand on the bad leg. Gabe crawls forward, but ZSJ KICKS him! ZSJ stomps Gabe, scuffs him, and taunts him. ZSJ sits Gabe up to KICK! ZSJ gives Gabe more kicks but Gabe eggs him on. Gabe gets in ZSJ’s face now, talks trash, and fires a forearm. ZSJ fires back, but so does Gabe. ZSJ ROCKS Gabe, but Gabe shakes it off. Gabe comes back to ROCK ZSJ! ZSJ staggers back to a corner, but the fans rally up more. ZSJ storms up and UPPERCUTS! Gabe leans back, but he comes back to UPPERCUT! ZSJ leans back, then applauds.

ZSJ UPPERCUTS, UPPERCUTS, and UPPERCUTS! Gabe runs up to BOOT ZSJ! ZSJ BOOTS back! Gabe BOOTS ZSJ, ZSJ BOOTS Gabe, repeat! Then they DOUBLE BOOT! ZSJ BOOTS again, ducks the Comebacker, but Gabe LARIATS through after all! Both men are down while the fans fire up. ZSJ stirs but Gabe sits up. Gabe waits on ZSJ, then junkyard dog headbutts! Gabe waits again, and hits another junkyard dog headbutt! Gabe drags ZSJ up, reels him in, but ZSJ fights the lift! ZSJ trips Gabe, jackknife bridges, TWO! Gabe reels ZSJ in, lifts, but ZSJ fights that to wrench and PELE the arm! ZSJ BOOTS a lariat, ROUNDHOUSES the other, then SLEEPER!

But Gabe slips through, SAIDO! ZSJ stands up, and he PENALTY KICKS Gabe down! The fans cheer while ZSJ catches his breath. The fans then rally up as both men slowly sit back up. ZSJ crawls over to Gabe, brings him up, and reels him in. Gabe suplexes first! BRAINBUSTER! But Gabe isn’t done, he drags ZSJ up again for another BRAINBUSTER! Then a cover, TWO! The fans cheer but Gabe hurries to get ZSJ up again. But ZSJ scoops, ZACK DRIVER! The fans fire up while both men are back down! ZSJ rolls away to a corner, Gabe goes to another. Gabe talks trash on ZSJ, then both men run up! DOUBLE LARIATS collide!

The fans rally as DOUBLE LARIATS collide again, and again! Both men run, Gabe LARIATS through! Gabe storms over to a corner, and he mocks Hiroshi Tanahashi’s pose before flipping The Ace off. HIGH FLY FLOW onto knees! ZSJ then drags Gabe around, DISARMER! Omoplata! CLARKY CAT! The fans rally as ZSJ bends the arms back! Gabe endures, kicks at the mat, but ZSJ shifts his grip on the hold! Gabe still endures, so ZSJ shifts around again, twists the wrist, and adds a leg! BAD BALLOON REMIX! Gabe fights, kicks, but ZSJ goes back to the legs! Gabe almost gets there, but ZSJ then shifts to a chinlock! ARMBAR!

Gabe kicks to the ROPEBREAK! The fans applaud as ZSJ lets go. ZSJ goes out to the apron to join Gabe, and he drags Gabe up. Gabe fights the scoop, so ZSJ drags Gabe down to the arm. ZSJ STOMPS Gabe’s arm! Then ZSJ scoops, but Gabe slips free! Gabe gut wrenches, APRON TOMBSTONE! The fans freak out but Gabe runs to COMEBACKER! Cover, TWO!! ZSJ survives and the fans fire up again! Gabe storms around, drags ZSJ up again, SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO! The fans cheer but Gabe is right back after ZSJ. Gabe drags ZSJ up, reels him in, but ZSJ fights the lift. Gabe stands ZSJ up to ROCK him!

Gabe scoops, but ZSJ fights to a victory roll, then EURO CLUTCH! TWO!! Gabe escapes in time, ZSJ shoots in, Gabe KNEES ZSJ down! Gabe then brings the kneepad down, O- NO! ZSJ rolls through, ties up the legs, KNEEBAR! Gabe stomps away with the free leg and ZSJ lets go. ZSJ PENALTY KICKS! Gabe rolls through, but he runs into a scoop! SABRE DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!! But ZSJ has the ARMBAR! Gabe hurries to clasp hands, so ZSJ adds a leg to the mix! ARMBAR KNEEBAR COMBO! Gabe scrambles to the ROPEBREAK! ZSJ lets go, but the fans rally up behind him, hot as ever! ZSJ walks it off while Gabe sits up.

ZSJ brings Gabe up, CHOPS him, and Gabe goes to a corner. ZSJ CHOPS Gabe again! The fans cheer, and ZSJ CHOPS again! Gabe stares ZSJ down as ZSJ CHOPS again. Gabe CHOPS back! ZSJ walks that off, and he CHOPS again! Gabe fires up from that, and he CHOPS! ZSJ CHOPS! Gabe slaps, ZSJ slaps, they slap, slap, slap! The fans fire up for the SLAP fight! ZSJ SLAPS, SLAPS, SLAPS, but Gabe HEADSBUTTS then KNEES! And then PILEDRIVER!! But Gabe isn’t done! DEATH RIDER DRIVER!! Gabe hooks ZSJ again, LEG TRAP DRIVER!!! Cover, Gabe wins!!

Winner: Gabe Kidd, by pinfall (gains 2 points; ZSJ earns 0)

The Mighty Don’t Kneel, but they can be knocked down! ZSJ is floundering at the bottom of the block, is he just stuck this Summer?

As for Gabe, he gets his IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship, he gets the mic, and while he sets the belt down, he looks for where ZSJ went. Gabe is surprisingly emotional how he says that Zack… CAN SUCK HIS MOM, Gabe’s the best!! The fans boo as Gabe suckered us in! Gabe tells them to shut up and ZSJ can GTFO, he doesn’t care about this! He only has one thing to say: He’ll win this ish for his cardio, he needs to get back in shape. But trust him, he is Gabe Kidd, he will win G1 Climax 36, then he’ll enter the REAL wrestling tournament, The AEW Continental Classic! Put him in, Coach!

Gabe says F the Climax, F all you clowns, F this company! The fans boo again as Gabe throws down the mic, but is nothing going to stop this Mad Man with a bad attitude?

My Thoughts:

Another great round for the G1, and some moderately surprising results. Oskar winning over Wolf is perhaps one of them given Wolf is a singles champion. Anyone overcoming The House of Torture’s antics is great, so great stuff for Henare here. And the Brits all brought it for sure tonight, with Moloney getting an awesome win over Callum, and then a great main event from ZSJ VS Gabe. Gabe trolling us with the emotional moment was good stuff, and with him right behind the top spot (Drilla beat Gabe in their 1v1 so Drilla’s the real leader), there’s a good chance Gabe might actually make a move for the semifinals. That’d be some wild heat, really, him teasing a finals appearance while being a hater.
