The fans tell Callis off, and he’s not even ringside. The trios sort out, Ospreay starts against Cage, and the fans fire up. The two circle, tie up, and Cage powers Ospreay to a corner. Cage RAMS Ospreay, RAMS him again, then whips corner to corner. Ospreay goes up and over, keeps moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then RAN- NO! Cage stops that to bring Ospreay up! Ospreay pops free, Cage ELBOWS Ospreay, but Ospreay TIGER WALL KICKS and ENZIGIRIS! Rocky tags in, Ospreay CHOPS him down! The fans cheer, and Ospreay tags The Fireball. Ospreay scoops Rocky to SLAM him, then Akira hops up onto Ospreay’s shoulders!

Akira says crowns up, then Ospreay throws him for the ELEVATED SENTON! Cover, TWO! Rocky is tougher than that but Akira bumps him off buckles. Tag to the Mauler, but Rocky runs away! Tag to Archer! The fans are torn as the big men get face to face. Henare powers up with the haka, but Archer SLAPS him! Henare fires forearms back and forth with Archer and the fans fire up! Henare fires a flurry, then runs the ropes to RAM Archer! Archer stays up, Henare RAMS him again! Archer is still up, so Henare tries again and RAMS! And RAMS! But then Archer RUNS Henare over! Akira slips under, UP KICKS, then gets moving, but Rocky gets a cheap shot in! The fans boo, but then Archer THROWS Akira overhead! Archer then BLASTS Ospreay & Henare, and the Callis Family soaks up the heat while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Cage & Archer mug Akira, then Cage CHOPS him down. Cage scoops Akira, uses him to do bicep curls, and goes all the way to TEN before the FALL AWAY SLAM! Cage flexes, then drags Akira up. Tag to Rocky and Rocky climbs up, AX HANDLE to Akira’s back! Rocky soaks up heat but Akira CHOPS! Rocky CHOPS Akira in return! Akira goes to ropes, Rocky stomps away in the corner, but the ref counts. Rocky steps on Akira with both feet, then stands on the corner to soak up heat. Rocky drags Akira to wrench and wristlock, then he tags Archer. They double whip so RUN Akira over! Archer then suplexes Akira, and holds him up!

Ospreay protests but Archer marches around with Akira. Tag to Cage, and Cage takes the handoff! He holds Akira up now, then SLAMS him at TEN! Cage drags Akira to a cover, TWO! The fans boo but Cage whips Akira to the corner. Akira CLOBBERS Rocky, then dodges Cage! Cage hits Archer, but he hurries to ELBOW DROP Akira! The fans boo but Cage whips. Cage kicks and whips Ospreay, but Ospreay handsprings and hits the RED DOT! Then he and Henare KNEE ENZIGIRI COMBO on Rocky! Akira adds his own ENZIGIRI, and PIP PIP CHEERIO! Cover, Archer breaks it in time! Akira shoves Akira, fires off CHOP after CHPO after CHOP, but Akira isn’t bothered. Cage and Henare brawl on the outside while the fans fire up for Akira. Evidently not. Rocky got caught the last time he gloated like that, and it happened again! Ospreay and the Empire stand tall together again, will the Aerial Assassin make them proud by winning the AEW World Championship?

Backstage interview with Kazuchika Okada.

Renee Paquette is with the Rainmaker and says last week, we learned about the AEW International Championship Triple Threat, Kyle Fletcher VS Kazuchika Okada VS Konosuke Takeshita. Don Callis put a positive spin on it, claiming this guarantees the title stays within the family, and Kyle was a little less than convinced. What is Okada’s take? Okada says he always says nothing is more important than family. Unlike Takeshita! He had to leave the Don Callis Family because he was so selfish! Okada is confident Kyle is too smart to make the same mistake. Kyle knows Okada is right: The only thing that matters is that the title stays in the family!

And if that means Kyle retains, Okada will be happy for him. But… If Okada becomes the NEW International Champion, then he expects Kyle to be happy for him, too. Kyle can even raise Okada’s hand in the center of the ring. Well, hard to say if #Protokada turns the Triple Threat into a Handicap Match on Konosuke or not, but will the odds be in the family’s favor? Or will Konosuke remind us that he is The Alpha?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He brings up we just heard from Okada, so now let’s hear from the International Champion, Kyle Fletcher! The Protostar makes his entrance, and Schiavone brings up what Okada had to say, that he’d be happy if Kyle retains the title, and that Kyle should be happy for Okada, and even raise Okada’s hand. Kyle says we are in the midst of the greatest AEW International Championship reign of all time. ANd he doesn’t see any reason that it has to end any time soon! And he certainly doesn’t think it will end in Wembley Stadium. But Okada did say that family means everything, and Kyle agrees with that.

Don Callis has done so much for Kyle, and Kyle owes so much to him, and this is Callis’s plan and design, so Kyle trusts him with all his heart. He does! So Kyle is willing to go along with the plan… The fans tell Callis off again… But Kyle wants Okada to know his role in this. If Okada is a man of his word and family is as important as he says it is, then he’ll have no problem having Kyle’s back to make sure Kyle retains! One more thing Kyle and Okada can agree on is that they HATE Konosuke Takeshita! The fans boo, but Kyle tells Takeshita he doesn’t really know where Takeshita is right now. Perhaps still licking his wounds after losing the G1? Congrats, by the way.

But Kyle thinks Konosuke is the most selfish, narcissistic jerk that he’s had to interact with. WAIT! Konosuke is here in Baltimore! The fans fire up as The Alpha goes to the ring! The jackets and shirts come off, and the fists start flying! The fans fire up, Konosuke spins, but into a SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! Kyle fires up, runs the ropes, but Konosuke scoops for the BLUE THUNDER BOMB! The fans fire up again, and Konosuke takes aim! WAGA- NO, Kyle scoops! But Konosuke slips free, inverted suplex, but Kyle turns that around on Konosuke! But then Konosuke doe sit again! Konosuke SHOVES Kyle into buckles, then hits a POISON-RANA!

Konosuke reloads, and WAGAMAMA KNEE! The fans fire up with Konosuke, and he gets Kyle right back up! RAGING FIRE!! Kyle writhes, Konosuke picks up the belt, and he stands over his former friend. And where’s Okada?! Will the Rainmaker really resign himself to being Kyle’s back-up when he couldn’t even make the save tonight? Or is it all part of Okada’s plan?

Exclusive sit-down interview with Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay.

It was earlier today that Renee Paquette met with The Cleaner and Assassin in a private room, only a spotlight on the three of them. Renee says to think back to December 12, 2015, Pro-Wrestling Guerrilla, the very first time these two met in a match. What was their first impressions of each other? Ospreay says he was always a big NJPW fan, so he was following everything Omega was doing, and was a big Omega fan, as well, so he knew of Omega’s DDT Pro and PWG matches. Ospreay felt honored to face Omega, but he knew he was out of his depth back then. He was a skinny kid, he was trying to make a name for himself, make an impression mainly.

Omega says he tries to keep his finger on the pulse, educate himself, to understand who the “flavors of the month” and “internet darlings” are, and Ospreay’s name had been turning up quite often. Omega was admittedly excited to be facing Ospreay himself. Was he blown away? Not at the time. But he saw the potential. Renee says then fast-forward about 7 years, AEW is in existence, Ospreay had followed Omega to NJPW, there had been wars between Chaos and The Elite (Bullet Club), then eventually United Empire VS The Elite in AEW. But Omega would return to NJPW to face Ospreay personally. What’d changed in Ospreay by then?

Omega says yes, Ospreay was a completely different athlete. Ospreay went from, as he put it himself, a skinny kid to the face of NJPW. Ospreay had filled Omega’s shoes. A lot of people looked at it as Omega coming back to see if he can defeat the new “best gaijin.” But it wasn’t that for Omega. And if you asked either company, it wasn’t that, either. This was out of necessity. This was Tokyo Dome, WrestleKingdom, biggest show of the year for NJPW. They needed to sell tickets, to get buy-rates online, to have people hyped up. And unfortunately, Ospreay’s name value alone doesn’t do that, but Kenny Omega’s does.

Ospreay says Omega loves talking about breaking record attendance and what not, that’s all well and good when you’re building a company off the broken backs of guys like Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tetsuya Naito and even Kazuchika Okada. Not saying Omega didn’t do his part, he smashed it, he was “The Man.” But he was never under the same restrictions as Ospreay. See, Omega’s version of Pandemic Era and Ospreay’s version were two completely different things. NJPW basically went into a recession, they were pulling funds, the boys took pay cuts.

AEW’s protocol, Omega had three hour drives. Ospreay had 15 hour flights, and then hotel rooms no bigger than a broom closet for two weeks, not allowed to go outside. And when he was, it was performing in front of crowds with forced silence. There is a difference between them there, because Omega could never handle that type of pressure, never handle that situation. Omega was fine playing to his own AEW people, but they were all Omega marks. That was an easy day on the job. But for Ospreay, it was hard. Half the roster was starving, they were shackled, and yet everyone over there breathed life into NJPW.

So please, do not give Ospreay any attendance BS, because Omega could never handle that situation. Omega says Ospreay is trying to make his situation sound so unique. AEW had the exact same situation in America. Yes, Omega had just a three hour drive, but so what? AEW didn’t have fans at the time, either, but the fact of the matter was- Ospreay says AEW got them back quicker than NJPW did. Well, the fact is, even if NJPW had fans, would they have been that loud for Ospreay? Ospreay tries to laugh that off but Renee has them both change gears here.

Let’s go to another five months past WrestleKingdom to Forbidden Door. Ospreay had joined AEW and the Don Callis Family by that time. Omega says look, everybody knows by now the history with the Calils Family. When Callis promised gold, success, and Omega got the AEW title, the PWG title, the TNA title, the AAA title, Omega had no reason but to believe Callis had Omega’s best interests in mind… Until Omega saw what it was all really worth, and that he could become a cautionary tale for guys like Ospreay, who Omega had grown to respect.

Omega found a common bond with Ospreay, having gone through similar situations. Except Ospreay didn’t have to make the same mistakes that Omega did, but of course Ospreay knew better. Ospreay just had to go join Don Callis and set up the match for Forbidden Door. Ospreay says Omega embarrassed him! Omega came back into NJPW and tore up Ospreay’s life! in front of the people Ospreay worked so hard for! It was 80% Omega, 20% Ospreay, Ospreay knows that! Ospreay still has scars on his head from when Omega gave him the top rope DDT!

Omega asks how that was so different from Ospreay showing up in Omega’s backyard, disrespected Omega and Omega’s homeland? Ospreay says Omega deserved it. Well, Ospreay says that now, but surely Ospreay is not proud of that win. If you look back at the history books, did Omega use Don Callis in that match in Tokyo Dome? No, he did not. But Ospreay had no qualms about using Callis at the Forbidden Door match. Ospreay says it keep shim up at night! Do you realize that? Three years have gone by and Ospreay still thinks about that night! That was supposed to be the greatest night of Ospreay’s life! He finally climbed the mountain that is Kenny Omega!

And instead, EVERYONE online is saying Ospreay couldn’t do it by himself, it was all Callis. That victory meant NOTHING! Omega says yes, it was tainted. But the best part is hearing Ospreay say that right here and now, because Omega can tell Ospreay that he forgives Ospreay. Omega no longer holds that against Ospreay. Because hearing from Ospreay that he couldn’t have done it without Callis or a screwdriver is music to his ears. So it’s not 1-1, it is more like 2-0, so this isn’t a rubber match! This is Ospreay desperately searching for any way to be on Omega’s level.

Renee says let’s move to All In then. They both have had life-threatening injuries this past year, from Ospreay’s neck to Omega’s diverticulitis. Omega stops Renee there, and says yes, if not Renee, then Excalibur, or Tazz, or Callis. He gets it! His life changed! Things are complicated. He can’t train like he used to, he can’t move like he used to, and he can’t eat like he used to. But that forced a change upon him that made him a better wrestler and a better person. Omega had to stop using his body and had to start using his mind. He’s smarter now for it.

But what about Ospreay? Is he better after breaking his neck? Is Ospreay 100% comfortable in his own skin? Knowing he had a surgically repaired disk. Three disks, in fact. Does Ospreay feel confident after coming back from that, challenging Omega, who is now at the top of his game? Wow… Omega will hand it to Ospreay, that’s quite the chip on his shoulder. Ospreay says hearing how much his words cut Omega deep, how he thought Omega had given up on himself, Ospreay can’t help but think about that. Because when he said at Dynasty that Omega was his hero, Omega hid at home for four weeks.

Then by the next PPV, Ospreay said not to give up on the title, and Omega hid at home for another four weeks. Funny how Ospreay saying Omega had given up suddenly sparked something for Omega to go and succeed. The words didn’t cut Omega’s heart, they cut his ego! Words like that coming from a guy that Omega’s never looked at as anything more, and all the things he said, Omega’s never seen Ospreay as an equal. Omega says he’s not the one with an ego. When you think about it, really, did Ospreay want Omega to win out of the kindness of his heart? Or did Ospreay know how much Omega was struggling? How much pain he deals with?

Ospreay says no but Omega says Ospreay wanted to fight Omega in his weakened state. To Ospreay, beating Omega would be easier than beating MJF. Ospreay says that’s bullocks! Ospreay wanted Omega at his best, because if Ospreay can’t beat THAT Omega, then Ospreay doesn’t deserve the title! This will be the biggest night of Ospreay’s life! In front of his family, his wife, his son, this means so much more to him and to so many others! No Englishman has ever won a world title on home soil! Ospreay has that chance! The guy who blew every responsibility before, that weight is on him! That pressure!

But like Omega said, when Ospreay is put in the pressure cooker, he crumbles. But he can’t crumble now! He has to be better than Omega! He has to do it away from Don Callis, away from the Death Riders, by himself! Ospreay knows he can do it, because this has been a ten year chase to try and be just as good! Ospreay’s no longer satisfied with that. Until Ospreay beats him with honor and pride, and when it matters most…! Well, last time it mattered the most was 2023, and that was Ospreay trying to do it on his own, and what happened? He failed. Except this time, in front of his countrymen, his friends and family, Ospreay will fail again.

But now, Ospreay’s mom- Ospreay says do NOT mention his mother! Ospreay is out of his seat, security steps in, and Omega says hey, there’s a lot riding on this. Not just for Ospreay, but for Omega. Win, lose, or draw, Omega still respects Ospreay as one of the greatest he’s ever faced. Ospreay brings magic outta Omega. Even if Ospreay loses, his mom will still be proud of him. But what Omega worries about is… Ospreay’s son may want a new dad. Omega hurries outta there, Ospreay seething. But will Ospreay make Omega eat his words, and maybe some teeth, when they finally go All In?

Kris THROWS Shida off, then drags her up, but Shida breaks free! Shida winds up, but Kris blocks the eye poke! Kris slaps the hand, then ROCKS Shida! Shida still brings Maya up so she can GUT BUSTER! Perse gloats while she SMACKS Kris off the commentary desk, but Shida covers Maya, TWO! Kris SMACKS Perse off the desk, then PELES! Shida argues with the ref about Fatal 4 Way rules, but then Maya fires off on Shida! Maya ROCKS Shida, but Shida kicks low! And KNEES her down! Shida sits Maya up, slaps her around, then runs the ropes. Kris trips Shida! Kris drags Shida out and throws her into steel steps! Kris storms up on Maya, but Maya reels her into a cradle! TWO, and Kris DROPKICKS Maya down! Perse is up top and CROSSBODIES onto Kris! Cover, TWO! Perse is furious but she sits Kris up for a standing chinlock. Perse steps over to trap an arm, but Kris still endures. Perse runs to basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO as Dynamite returns to single picture!

Perse keeps Kris down with a motorcycle stretch, but Kris endures. Kris starts to rise up, but Perse shifts to a headlock, almost a standing chinlock. Kris fires body shots, but Perse blocks the kick! LEG TRP GERMAN! Bridging cover, TWO! Kris survives and Perse argues with the ref. The ref defends his count, and Maya victory rolls to STOMP 182! Perse sputters, but Shida is back! Shida reels Maya in, CORNER SUPLEX! Maya writhes from hitting buckles, and Shida says, “Iku zo!” The fans boo, but Shida still climbs up. Maya GAMANGIRIS! Maya goes up, up, and has Shida in place. But Perse joins in! And then Kris CLOBBERS Perse!

Kris SUPER GERMANS Maya off the corner! Shida leaps, Kris dodges the dropkick! SPLASH for Perse, ROUNDHOUSE for Shida! Then Kris sends Perse into Shida, LEG SWEEP FLATLINER COMBO! The fans fire up again, and now Perse and Shida stare down. Teammates no more, perse KNEES low! “This is Awesome!” as Perse goes to suplex. Shida fires body shots, but Perse still tries! Shida wrenches out, KNEES Perse, then waistlocks. Perse fires elbows, but Shida shoves her away. Perse goes up and over, then SHOTGUNS Shida! Shida falls into the corner, but Maya rolls Perse! Perse rolls through to kick Maya low! Perse reels Maya in, but Maya slips around to O’Conner Roll! TWO and Shida KNEES Maya down! Shida and Perse seem to have an understanding, but then Perse kicks the hand away!

Shida blocks a shot, spins Perse, and pokes her in the eyes! Shida then reels Perse in, straitjacket and scoop, but Perse slips free! Perse KNEES low, then reels Shida in! AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal: Jon Moxley VS Jay White!

Jack Perry could not stop The Maniac in the first round, so there is no new Continental Champion yet. The Switchblade was able to cut down David Finlay last round, despite the bad neck. Will White fail to “dethrone” the Moxley tonight? Or will the Death Riders learn to Breathe with the Switchblade?

The bell rings and the fans already cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this match possible. Moxley and White circle, White talks a little trash, and the fans chant, “GUNS UP! GUNS UP!” but also “F HIM UP, MOXLEY, F HIM UP!” Hard to sort the chants out, really, but the two feel things out. They circle, knuckle lock, then White rolls to wrench and wristlock. Moxley rolls, breaks free, and the fans applaud the standoff. They reset, feel things out again, and knuckle lock. They go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength, but Moxley powers White down. White manages to stand up, but Moxley hooks a leg.

Moxley makes White bridge, which strains that neck! But White powers up with the core muscles to power Moxley to ropes! The fans cheer White while he talks trash right in Moxley’s face. White backs off, checks his neck, then the two circle again. The fans rally, the two feel things, and Moxley hammerlocks. Moxley wrangles White to the mat, but White fights around to the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer as the two reset again. They circle, feel things out, and tie up. Moxley headlocks, White powers up and out, but Moxley RUNS White over! White flounders out of the ring, walks it off, but Moxley waits on him.  White storms right back in as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The two tie up, White headlocks, but Moxley powers up and out. Moxley drops down, but White RUNS Moxley over! Moxley bails out now, and he walks it off. White waits on Moxley, and even holds the ropes open for him. Moxley ignores that to go around the way. Moxley steps into the ring, he and White reset, then they tie up. Moxley kicks low, CHPOS, but White comes back with a haymaker! Moxley CHOPS, White CHPOS, repeat! White staggers to a corner, but then he kicks low and CHOPS back! Moxley ROCKS White, ROCKS him again, and again! Moxley then TOSSES White out, goes after him, and whips him hard into the barriers!

Moxley backs off and “apologizes” while White writhes. Moxley goes back to fetch White, brings him up and whips him, only for White to reverse! Moxley crashes into steel steps! White hurries to get Moxley back in, and the fans fire up for White while Dynamite goes to break.

Dynamite returns as Moxley bends White with a modified surfboard. The fans rally as White fights up, up, and fires elbows! White then whips but Moxley reverses. White returns but Moxley slips around, and GERMAN SUPLEXES! White tumbles back into the corner while the fans fire up. Moxley storms back up on White, waits on him to stand, then JABS! And CHOPS! And JABS again! The fans rally and duel again as Moxley CLAWS White’s back! Moxley whips but White blocks! White powers up, and he ROCKS Moxley with forearm after forearm! Moxley SLAPS White! White SLAPS back! Then White ducks and STEP PUNCHES!

White whips, Moxley reverses, but White slides to a stop! White wrenches Moxley for a DDT! The fans fire up while Moxley sputters and wobbles! Moxley tries to stand, but he staggers around! White rises up, and he CHOPS! JABS! JABS! CHOPS! The fans fire up as White JABS away, then CHOPS away, then fires body shot after body shot! White ELBOWS away on Moxley and the fans fire up! White slips away, BOOTS, and BUCKLE PLEXES! The fans fire up as Moxley is stuck upside-down! White drags Moxley to a cover, TWO!

White is frustrated but the fans rally up again. White suplexes but Moxley blocks! Moxley powers up, but White shifts to a takedown, RINGS OF SATURN!! The fans fire up as Moxley endures! White pulls on the hold, tells him to just give up already, but Moxley refuses! Moxley rolls, White rolls through, but Moxley uses that for a ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, White lets go at 4, and Moxley bails out as Dynamite goes picture in picture again.

Moxley shakes out the bad arm, but White takes aim to PLANCHA! Down goes Moxley and White drags himself up with the desk. White hurries to get Moxley up, hammerlocks the arm, and RAMS him into the steel steps! Moxley clutches the shoulder, makes sure his arm is even working, but White is right on that arm with a top wristlock! The ring count climbs, but White puts Moxley in at 5 of 10. White wraps Moxley’s arm around the ropes, pulls, then wrenches Moxley to YANK the arm! White CLUBS away on Moxley’s arm, then has a standing armlock, but Moxley endures. Moxley rolls, reels White in, and lifts for a PILEDRIVER!

The fans rally as Moxley drags White up, puts him in, and goes up the corner. Moxley has to leap over White, and White gets the SLEEPER SUPLEX! The fans fire up as White hurries to clamp on again! SLEEPER SUPLEX! Moxley flounders and flops while the fans fire up again! White rises, the fans get hotter, and White drags Moxley up for another clinch! Moxley fights the throw, but White still hits the SLEEPER SUPLEX! But Moxley’s right up!? Only to run into a FLATLINER! White shifts around, waistlocks, but Moxley wrangles White with a wristlock! White scrambles, but end up in the BULLY CHOKE!

As for White, Moxley seems to show him respect, but THE DOGS ATTACK! Finlay & Connors do NOT respect White as they mug him! But here comes The Conglomeration! Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly fire off on The Dogs! But then GABE KIDD is here! The mad Man is back in AEW, he DECKS Kyle and hits the COMEBACKER on Orange! But here comes Roderick Strong! The fans fire up as Roddy fires off on The Dogs! He fires ELBOW after ELBOW, but then he gets the DOUBLE SPEAR!!

The fans boo as The Dogs stand tall, and they get White up, too! BUT WAIT! The Good, The Bad & The Brody are here! They storm the ring, and The Dogs back off! The AEW World Trios get the mics, and The Cowboy says, “Hey, hey, nice boots, dumbass!” But then Ricochet hurries out here to tell everyone to wait, hold on! Ricochet leads Toa Liona, Bishop Kaun & The Lethal Twist out here, and the fans boo. Ricochet says hold your horses, Hangman. The fans mock Ricochet for being bald, but Ricochet says whatever, go and say whatever, Hangman. Hangman says he and his amigos are the trios champions! Ricochet can shut his ass up, he’ll deal with that in a minute.

But there is no way in Hell that Hangman and friends are missing out on Wembley. If any trios out here fighting tonight, or any who took a break from waxing Ricochet’s head long enough to come out and watch… If there is any trio who wants a shot at the titles, then meet them under the Wembley Arch at dusk, because your champions will be waiting. An open challenge to the entire Trios Division, maybe even the entire world, but will Hangman, Bandido & Brody be able to win that shootout?

Backstage interview with Maya World.

Renee is with the TBS Champion and congratulates her on that huge win in the insane Fatal 4 Way. That must feel good! Maya says that felt great! No one thought she’d win this title, but she just beat three of the best in AEW! And she won’t stop here. Willow steps in and apologizes for the interruption. One, beautiful win, Maya! Two, Willow is a woman of her word, and maybe Maya doesn’t remember this, but if she does… Willow said a couple months ago that if she beat Thekla for the Women’s World Championship, which she did, Maya would get a shot. Maya says she does remember. Willow says why not do it live on Saturday night?

Maya says Willow really is a woman of her word! They shake on that deal, but Willow says that’s Saturday. Tonight, she has business with Mercedes Mone. Maya says hey now, what if it ends up Maya facing Mone in Wembley? Willow says touché. Maya will bring her best, as always. The Babe with the Power heads out, but will she regret giving #ThatGirl this opening? And what of Willow’s face-to-face with The CEO later tonight?

Jonathon Cruz is in the ring.

We all know the bane of Serpentico’s existence tends to pal around with MJF, and he even introduces himself as MJF’s personal translator. The fans boo, but Cruz says MJF sent him out here to remind all of us, and especially Andrade, just how little MJF thinks of Andrade. Cruz will do it in the language Andrade can understand: Espanol. Cruz takes out a scroll like he’s an old timey orator, and he begins reading. He tells Andrade he is not worthy of being AEW World Champion, he isn’t even worthy of being in the Casino Gauntlet in Wembley! And Cruz says he might as well read this one in English so that even the idiots in Baltimore can understand.

Andrade will never be the REAL World Champion! Actually, one more thing from Cruz himself: Andrade is NOT a real Latino Man. Between the two of them, Cruz is way more Latino, way m ore of a man, and way more guapo (handsome). If Andrade was here in Baltimore, Cruz would challenge him to a match, kick his culo, then say this to his face. But Andrade’s too much of a coward! He’s not here, and that’s another reason why MJF will always be better than you. The fans boo, but Cruz tells Andrade, “C’mon, man. I know.” Cruz leaves, but WAIT! Andrade IS here?! Cruz can feel how badly he just stepped in it, because here comes the AEW National Champion!

Ladies, there is a ton of history here, but Mone viciously attacked- Mone says yeah, and she didn’t beat that ass hard enough, because Willow’s still smiling! What’s so damn funny? Uh, Mone can never take Willow’s smile, like she’ll never take this title! Oh, really? Willow has a lot to say now that they’re in separate rooms, “ya dumb b*tch!” At All In, Mone finally ends Willow! Willow says Mone keeps saying that, but y’know what? Willow isn’t smiling cuz she has Mone’s number and she knows it.

Willow is smiling cuz she has the fans. Mone hates that! The reason the fans stopped liking Mone is cuz Mone’s worked so hard on being perfect! She has the entrance, the clothes, the catchphrases, the hair, everything! Willow will give it to Mone, she’s become exactly what a star should be. But Willow’s never been anybody’s prototype. She’s just Willow. And whether they love her or they don’t, they know her. They’ve watched her win, lose, embarrass herself, but they’ve also watched her win. That is the connection she has, the same one Mone’s been chasing her entire career, and no amount of money or star power wins that connection.

Nor does it win this title. Can’t win the world title that way, Mone! Willow likes her chances. Mone says oh, sure, that’s who they love! He asks if we all heard Hangman right. Swerve Strickland is there, and he asks if Hangman said anyone could challenge for the trios titles. Don’t say it if you don’t mean it. The Realest heads out, and Nana asks, “Whose House?” But then, does Swerve have teammates lined up for his own chance at the gold?

Speaking of All In, Nigel wants to live that dream of going All In, but that means making it to the end of #C3! However, he’s got a banged up ankle after barely making it through Katsuyori Shibata. Will Nigel be one step closer to making a dream into a reality? Or will the Alchemist of Lucha have the winning formula?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Nigel and Hechi circle, Nigel avoids Hechi going for the bad leg, and the fans rally behind Nigel. Nigel threatens he’ll take that mask off! The two keep circling, Hechi gets the leg after all! So Nigel goes after the mask, just as he said! Hechi scrambles away, Nigel warns Hechi, and Hechi tells the ref to tell Nigel to not touch the mask! The two tie up, Nigel goes for an armlock, but Hechi fires body shots. Hechi has a cording hold, but Nigel facelocks. Hechi fires body shots, then goes back to the cording hold. Nigel endures, powers up, but Hechi body shots! Nigel backs up to the ROPEBREAK!

The ref counts, but Hechi yanks Nigel into a facelock! Nigel reaches out again, ROPEBREAK with the foot! Hechi lets go slowly, then he KICKS the rope to jam up the leg! The fans boo, Nigel seethes, but Hechi runs up! SLEEPER in the ropes! The ref counts, but Nigel pries the hold open. Nigel HOTSHOTS the arm, but Hechi fires body shots to the kidneys! Hechi goes up and FLYING LARIATS! Hechi hurries to cover, TWO! Nigel survives, but Hechi stays after him as we go picture in picture.

Hechi grabs a leg, KICKS the leg again and again, then taunts Nigel. But Nigel spins, slips away, ROPEBREAK! But Hechi still grabs the bad leg and puts it through the ropes! The ref counts, Hechi stands, but he HOTSHOTS the leg! Nigel writhes but the ref reprimands Hechi. Hechi taunts Nigel, kicks him, but Nigel snarls again. Nigel CHOPS! Hechi CHOPS! The fans rally, Nigel shifts, and Nigel has a LABELL LOCK! Hechi endures, pries the facelock away, then rolls and hooks legs. Hechi steps through for the spinning toehold! Nigel endures as Hechi twists the feet! Hechi hushes the fans before he hits another spinning toehold! Hechi pushes on the bad leg, but Nigel pushes Hechi down! Hechi storms back up on Nigel, snapmares, then steps over an arm to TWIST! Then a NECK TWIST! Dynamite returns to single picture as Hechi YANKS the bad leg! The fans rally for Nigel as he rises up, but Hechi scuffs him. Nigel fires a forearm, Hechi fires a CHOP, repeat!

The fans fire up for Nigel as he UPPERCUTS! Hechi pushes Nigel, eggs him on, so Nigel throat chops! Hechi brings the straps down, he’s getting serious! Nigel winds up, but Hechi blocks the chop to then DROPKICK the leg! BASEMENT DDT! Hechi puts Nigel in the corner, fires body shots, then CHOPS! Hechi puts the bad leg in the ropes, then runs side to side to KICK it! Hechi fires hands, then brings Nigel out. Nigel fires forearms, then clinches. Schiavone brings up that at All In, Knight and Darby Allin will now battle in Falls Count Anywhere. What are Knight’s thoughts on that? Knight snatches the mic to say enough of that, Tony. Honestly, Knight is uncomfortable with these questions, so get outta his ring. Skedaddle! See ya! Cuz everybody for the past few months has been questioning The Jet. But he has answers, especially for Darby. Darby has this old, outdated version of Knight in his head. Knight’s not a Young Boy, he’s a grown-ass man!

And not only that, but he’s the greatest TNT Champion of all time! So Darby, bring your ass out here so they can talk! The music hits, and the fans cheer as Darby indeed walks out on stage. Knight says cut the music already! Before Darby walks down the ramp, he needs to prove he ain’t got no weapons on him. No flamethrowers, no exploding bags, nothing! Security, check on Darby! Darby opens the jacket to show it’s just Darby. The fans cheer Darby but Knight says you show respect to your TNT Champion. Now, Baltimore isn’t even worthy to see Knight fight tonight. He ain’t got his family, Darby ain’t got no family, so okay, Darby can make his way down here.

The fans boo, and Darby doesn’t seem to trust Knight is alone. But then OH NO, pyro goes off?! Darby survives, but he’s clearly blinded and dazed! Knight rushes out to CLOBBER Darby!! Knight then puts Darby in the ring, and he grabs a chair! The fans boo as Knight puts the chair in the ring, then puts Darby on a corner! Darby is in the Tree of Woe, Knight wedges a chair into his face! Knight fires hands, then goes to the other corner! The fans boo but The Jet goes COAST2COAST!! The fans boo that full metal dropkick, but Knight takes his leave. Darby promised no tricks, but Knight had one up his sleeve! Knight mockingly asks if Darby’s gonna make it now.

Doc Sampson hurries to check Darby, namely the head and neck. A neck brace and back board are brought out just in case. Steve Borden, aka Sting’s son, hurries out here out of concern for his friend and mentor. The crew gets Darby on the board and secures him. From there, they put Darby on a stretcher. The fans cheer for Darby, but Knight might have a point: Will Darby be able to wrestle at Wembley? Will Darby even be able to walk again?

Dynamite returns and…

The medical team has Darby in the loading dock, the ambulance already waiting. But then Knight says hey, Steve, don’t get caught up in the crosshairs as the big boys play. Stay in your lane. Steve jumps at Knight but Darby says not yet! Knight is wary of Sting’s son, but then he has a cocky grin as Steve goes with Darby. Knight claims Steve ain’t ready for this anyway.

Six Man Tag: Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks VS Mark Davis, Jake Doyle & EL CLØN!

Dynamite started the night with Will Ospreay and his friends overcoming the Don Callis Family, then we got that heated face-to-face between him and The Cleaner. Now, Omega looks to handle his business, Matt & Nick Jackson riding alongside him once again! Will The Elite, The The Elite, be as sharp as they ever were? Or will Dunkzilla, #DangerousDoyle, and the Corrupted Copy ruin all the fun?

Speaking of that exchange, Ospreay finds Omega before his entrance, and warns him. “Don’t get hurt.” Omega says yeah, sure. Omega has security escort Ospreay away, then he makes his entrance. The trios sort out and Clon starts against Nick. They tie up, Nick headlocks, but Clon powers up and out. Nick RUNS Clon over, then runs the ropes. Nick handsprings over the dropdown, then springboards, “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG! Nick then SOBATS Clon, feeds to Matt for the shoulder thrust, then Matt tags in! Matt slingshots, gives Nick the boost for the WHEEL KICK! Doyle runs up, but into double kicks!

Nick SWEEPS the legs, then he and Matt DOUBLE BASEMENT DROPKICK! Davis runs up but into DOUBLE DROPKICKS! The big men bail out, Clon runs up, but The Bucks put Clon on the apron. Matt holds Clon in place for Nick to DROPKICK him down! The fans fire up with The Bucks, and Matt drags Clon back into the ring. Matt whips Clon to the corner, the fans cheer “YOUNG BUCKS! WOOP WOOP!” Omega gets a shot in on Clon before holding out a hand. Matt winds up, and he tags Omega in! The fans cheer, and Omega BLASTS Davis & Doyle! The Elite then coordinates for the classic BACK BODY BLOCK DOUBLE ENZIGIRI COMBO!

Omega tags Nick, then scoops Clon. BACKBREAKER and DOUBLE STOMPS! Nick then tags Matt, Omegas BLASTS Doyle but Davis DECKS Omega! The Bucks kick Davis, then alley-oop DROPKICK! Omega & Matt DOUBLE LARIAT Davis up and out! Nick sends Clon in, Omega & Matt DOUBLE HIP TOSS Clon onto Davis & Doyle! The fans fire up again for “The! Elite! THE THE ELITE!” Nick fetches Clon into the ring, and Matt lines up the superkick. Matt feints, DDTS, but Clon handsprings through?! Clon trips, KICKS< steps over, and lifts Matt, POWER KNEE! Davis & Doyle CLOBBER Omega & Nick! Then they send Doyle in and he SPALSHES Matt!

Davis LARIATS Matt, Clon UPPERCUTS! Clon sits Matt down, then Davis & Doyle LAUNCH at Clon at Nick for a CODE BREAKER! Davis SLIDING D on Matt! BODY BLOCK on Omega! The fans boo but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Davis YANKS Matt up for Doyle to ROCK, and then Davis hits a BIG back suplex! Clon hits the WALL WALK MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Matt toughs it out, but Clon clamps on with a GROUND COBRA TWIST! Matt endures, so Clon stomps him down. Clon drags Matt up, wrenches, and he tags Doyle. They mug Matt, then Doyle RAMS Matt into the corner! And RAMS again! And again! Doyle soaks up heat, but the ref sees Clon & Davis getting their shots in! The ref has to keep Nick back, but that lets Doyle stomp away on Matt! Tag to Davis, he scoops and SLAMS Matt, then SENTONS! Cocky cover, TWO!

Davis drags Matt back up while Nick rallies the fans, but Davis bumps Matt off buckles. Davis argues with Nick, Clon CHOKES Matt in the distraction! Clon even stomps Matt down! Doyle tags in, and he KNEE DROPS on Matt’s back! Cover, TWO! Doyle stays between Matt and The Elite, and he clamps on a BEARHUG! Matt endures, even as Doyle THRASHES him around! Matt powers up, but Doyle puts on more pressure! The ref checks Matt, the arm drops once. The arm drops twice! But Matt comes back to life as Dynamite returns to single picture! Matt BELL CLAPS, but Doyle whips him to the corner!

Matt BOOTS Doyle away, ELBOWS Clon and ELBOWS Davis! Doyle runs up, but Matt goes up and out to dodge, then CROSSBODY onto Clon! Davis BLASTS Nick off the corner, runs up on Matt, but Matt RAMS into him! Matt slingshots, but Davis catches him! Matt reaches out, but Davis BACKDROPS, only for Matt to sunset flip! TWO, and Doyle waistlocks! Davis runs up, Matt ducks, the CHPO hits Doyle! Matt kicks Davis, then uses Doyle to get up, SLICED BREAD on Davis! The fans fire up as Davis and Matt crawl, hot tags to Clon and Omega! The fans fire up as Omega CLOBBERS Clon with ax handle after ax handle!

Clon dodges the Polish Hammer but Omega blocks a kick to CHOP! Omega hits the USHIGOROSHI! Cover, Davis & Doyle break it! The Bucks go after Davis & Doyle, then whip, but Davis & Doyle reverse! The Bucks dosido to DOUBLE LARIAT! Then the HIGH-FIVE DOUBLE BULLDOGS! Omega fireman’s carries Clon while The Bucks go to corners. “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” ROLLING SENTON, then a MOONSAULT, SWANTON, and MACHO ELBOW! Cover, TWO!! Clon survives and DCF bails out! The fans start up the Terminator Drums, The Elite builds speed! TRIPLE DIVE!! Down go Clon, Davis & Doyle!

The Elite gets Clon back in, Omega runs up, KOTARO- NO, Clon handsprings through! PELE! But then DOUBLE SUPERKICKS hit! Davis DOUBLE LARIATS The Bucks! Omega gets Davis, SNAP DRAGON! Doyle tags in, runs up, he breaks the nelson, but DOUBLE SUPERKICKS send him back in! SNAP DRAGON! Doyle rises back up, into TRIPLE SUPERKICKS! The Bucks DOUBLE PLANCHA Davis & Clon! Omega says BANG! V-TRIGGER on Doyle! Then the Electric Chair?! ONE WINGED ANGEL!! Cover, Elite wins!

The Elite is still The Elite, but the rest of the Don Callis Family attacks! Archer, Trent & Rocky beat down Omega & The Bucks! Archer CHOKES Matt, RPG Vice gets a table! Davis CHOKES Omega, too! Archer CHOKES Matt, and Davis drags Omega to the table! But then COPE rushes out here! The Rated R Superstar fires off Archer, DECKS Davis, DECKS Trent, and Christian Cage is taking his time getting out here! Archer beats Cope down as fans still sing Metalingus, but then Captain Charisma turns on the gas! He CLOBBERS Trent, CLOBBERS Rocky, CLOBBERS Archer, then LOW BLOWS Trent!

The Bucks DOUBLE SUPERKICK Rocky! Christian holds Trent, but Trent slips free, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Christian!! Cope sees that and misunderstands! They all argue, and Davis CLOBBERS them all! The brawl continues, but Archer is back in! The tides have turned back around as Cope, Cage, The Bucks, and the Don Callis Family all brawl their way towards the stage! Omega finds himself all alone, and the fans cheer him on as he goes for a mic. But then OSPREAY makes his way out here! Ospreay has a mic of his own to tell Omega, he was wondering what they were gonna talk about! Omega said after the match, Ospreay could come out!

Well, Ospreay is here, so please don’t be so charming. Omega’s got about much charm as a parking ticket. What’s Omega got to say after bringing up Ospreay’s seven-year-old son?! Omega says he’s only got one thing left to say to the likes of Ospreay: SECURITY! GET HIS ASS OUTTA HERE! Ospreay says Omega’s a p*ssy! The fans boo as security hurries out here. Omega says yeah, leave with tail between your legs like the “little English b*tch” that you are! The fans boo, but Omega says he doesn’t wanna see Ospreay until Wembley. Ospreay says not until he’s kicked the sh*t outta Omega! OSPREAY TACKLES OMEGA!!

The fans are fired up as Ospreay HAMMERS Omega, but security drags him back! Omega V-TRIGGERS Ospreay!! Then he TOSSES the security since they didn’t do their jobs! Omega says he didn’t need them anyway! Omega tells Ospreay get up! One last lesson to teach Ospreay! Omega drags Ospreay to the table RPG Vice set up! Omega tells Ospreay to take one last look at the title, YOU SONOVABISH! Omega snarls as he drags Ospreay up, Electric Chair Lifts, and ONE WINGED ANGEL down through the table!!! The fans are shocked but Omega has a wild look in his eyes! Omega shouts “KOMICHI! <Feels good!>”

Omega may not be with Don Callis, but this isn’t far off from that Kenny Omega. Will nothing stop Omega from doing what he wants to who he wants in order to stay AEW World Champion?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite that of course went over because they packed it full again. They even made this feel like it was the go-home episode, since they aren’t going to be live next week with it all being in Scotland and having to tape delay. The interview segment with Mone and Willow turning into a brawl was good stuff, very go-home style right there. Hard to say who wins at All In, but I would think Willow beats Maya on Saturday. What a weird way to do a tune-up, but I guess it fits Willow’s character after how she made that promise to Maya. The Fatal 4 Way really was awesome, and I’m actually a little surprised but very glad to see Maya won out.

Cruz’s promo on behalf of MJF, then Andrade beating him in record time, only to have MJF speak anyway, that was some top notch filler. Very good promos from Okada and Fletcher, as well as the return of Konosuke. Konosuke standing tall here might give away that he’s not winning the title, and Okada not helping Fletcher might mean Okada takes advantage of it all at All In. Very good promo from Knight, and pretty wild of Darby to do the “pyro accident” spot a la Jeff Hardy VS CM Punk from like a decade ago. Nice spot for Steven James Borden to return to TV, he probably dares Knight to face him 1v1, giving Knight his tune-up win before All In.

Great stuff from the Continental Challenge Cup tonight. Moxley VS White was awesome, much like Moxley VS Jack Perry last week, but it makes sense for Moxley to make it through this round, too. Nigel VS Hechi was great, great selling of the foot, and it definitely feels like Nigel’s story going into this (and by extension, Death Before Dishonor this Friday) is seeing if Nigel’s body can still even hold up. Maybe Nigel loses on Friday, maybe he doesn’t, but he’s going to have one hell of a time in Glasgow, no matter who it is he faces. And good stuff in building more intrigue for the trios titles, you can bet Swerve’s team is getting that shot at Wembley.

And of course, great stuff from the Ospreay VS Omega story. The face-to-face was so good, and I really do appreciate Ospreay using Pandemic Era and the juxtaposition of how AEW handled it compared to NJPW. Great Six Man Tags from both, and I figured we were going to see Cope & Cage at some point, so things falling apart as they were helping The Bucks was good stuff. Omega putting Ospreay through that table was unexpected, but it seems Omega is going further down the Heel rabbit hole again. And even if this isn’t the final segment from these two, you gotta know this is all because Ospreay is going to overcome and win at Wembley.
