The Peacock & The Youngest Men Alive are irritated, irate, and down right mad over how Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson have gone about challenging them for these titles. Will Dalton Castle, Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd finally get a fair fight? Or is there about to be a plot twist in Philly?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and in the case of Turbo, let’s see if the belt stays on!

The trios sort out, Truth starts against #BigShotty, but Truth refuses Lee’s Code of Honor after all the disrespect the Twist has shown. The bell rings, the fans rally up, and Truth circles with Lee. They tie up, Lee headlocks, but Truth powers up and out. Lee RUNS Truth over, then mocks the spin and flex. The fans boo but things get moving. Truth hurdles but Lee stays back to SLAP Truth! Truth scowls, and he TACKLES Lee! The fans fire up, Lethal jumps in, and so does everyone else! The brawl is on and the fans fire up even more! They all go around, then the trios regroup. The Twist swings, misses, and Castle Alabama lifts Lee!

Lethal & Blake kick The Outrunners aside, then Blake saves Lee. DOUBLE SUPERKICK and Castle is down! But then The Outrunners LARIAT Lethal & Blake outta the ring! The fans fire up as The Outrunners build speed, but they see Lethal & Blake hurry to the other side! The Outrunners keep running, then they step outside to the apron for the DOUBLE AX HANDLES! The fans cheer as The Outrunners spin around! Lee has Castle up, but Castle powers Lee back. Lee reaches out for a tag, but that’s Turbo! The champs pinball Lee with haymakers! Castle whips Lee to the corner, sends Truth in, STINGER SPLASH!

Truth tags Turbo, Turbo tags Truth, then they double whip to BODY SHOT, KNEE LIFT, and BIG back suplex! Cover, TWO! Lee toughs it out but Truth brings him up. Lee RAMS Truth into the corner, tag to Lethal. Lethal snapmares, but Truth arm-drags! Truth runs up on Lethal to TOSS him across the way! Truth runs up, goes up, FLYING HEADSCISSORS! The fans cheer while Lethal flounder. Truth CHOPS Lethal, ROCKS him, then fires more shots. Truth KNEES low, but Lethal fires body shots. Truth whips, Lee takes the bomb! Lethal runs up, Truth dodges, and Truth KICKS Lee off the corner!

Truth CHOPS Lethal, Turbo ROCKS Lethal, and Truth hits a BIG back suplex! Turbo jumps in, The Outrunners wind it up, but Lee GERMAN SUPLEXES Turbo! The fans boo but Lee KNEES Truth. Lethal tags Blake, Lee whips him in! Truth tries to hit Blake, but Lee BOOTS Truth! Lee whips Truth for Blake’s FLYING LARIAT! Blake soaks up the heat as he mocks The Outrunners, then copies Michael Jackson. Blake drags Truth up, bumps him off buckles, then stands on Truth! The ref counts, Blake backs off at 4, but that lets Lee CHOKE Truth! The fans boo but Lee gets away with it. Blake stomps Truth down while Lee hushes the fans.

Blake tags Lee, Lee keeps Truth from his corner, and bumps him off buckles. Lee stomps a mudhole into Truth, then stands on him! “This guy is nothing!” The fans boo but Lee flexes. Blake CHOKES Truth now! Lethal gets cheap shots in, too! The fans boo but Lethal “tags” in! The ref isn’t so sure since he didn’t see it. He asks the fans, and the fans say “NO! NO! NO!” Lethal is upset with that, but Truth is crawling for his corner! Lee hurries to drag Truth back! Lethal tags in for real now, and he stomps away on Truth! Tag to Blake, he and Lethal double whip Truth to a corner. Lethal runs up, but into a BOOT! Truth dodges Blake’s splash!

Lee runs up, Truth DUMPS him out! The fans fire up as Truth rises, but Lee YANKS Turbo down! The fans boo but Blake stomps away on Truth! Blake holds Truth’s hand out to mock Castle, then Blake BLASTS Castle down! Blake stomps away on Truth in the Twist corner, but the ref counts. Blake ROCKS Truth, tags Lethal, and he brings Truth up. Lethal whips Truth to ELBOW him down! Cover, TWO! The fans rally but Lethal taunts Turbo. Lethal drags Truth up, bends fingers, and brings him to the corner. Tag to Lee, they mug Truth, and Lee snapmares for a slide and ELBOW DROP! Lee rains down fists while the fans boo!

The ref reprimands about closed fists, but Lee stops to soak up more heat. Lee then scuffs Truth, eggs him on, and brings him over. Tag to Blake and they mug Truth. Blake snapmares Truth and runs, basement DROPKICK! Cocky cover, TWO! Blake wrangles Truth with a headlock, then rains down fists! Blake mocks the spin, then flexes before the ELBOW DROP! And another ELBOW DROP! Blake then pumps it up, kisses the bicep, ELBOW FLOP! The fans rally, but Lethal tags in! Lethal CLOBBERS Truth, then stomps away! Lethal drops ax handle after ax handle on Truth, then stomps him. Lethal calls his shot, but then simply does the strut!

The fans boo and “WOO~” but Lethal brings Truth up. But Truth snap suplexes first! The fans fire up while both men are down! Truth and Lethal crawl, the fans fire up, but Lethal runs up! Turbo ROCKS Lethal first! But then Blake DROPKICKS Turbo! The fans boo but Lethal CHOPS Truth down! Lethal gets the leg, and he calls his shot! FIGURE- NO, Truth BOOTS free! Backstage interview with The Kingdom and La Faccion Ingobernable.

Lexy Nair is with Matthew Taven & Michael Bennett, as well as Sammy Guevara & The Beast Mortos, noting the Fatal 4 Way Tag Team match for the ROH World Tag Team Championships. However, The Kingdom requested time to speak with LFI, so the floor is theirs. Taven says great to see them, especially Mortos. But they’re all former tag team champions, and Taven knows they all feel like they’re missing something in their lives, which are the ROH World Tag Team Championships. They may only be 50% of the manpower, but if these four worked together, there’s 100% chance of them winning, according to their AI, Sparta.

Bennett says this is what they’ll do. Since this is now Matthew & Michael, because AI said they should do that, they can do the same for LFI so they can fit in, be unified and everything is copasetic. So now, this is a big shock, but he’ll be Samuel Guevara! And Beast Mortos, we didn’t forget you! You will be Beauty Mortos! No, wait, he’s Frank Mortos, so it’s Franklin Mortos! Or is it Frankfurt? Franklinfurt, great to see you! They worked together before, imagine what they can do together now! Sammy/Samuel hushes The Kingdom, and asks Mortos what he thinks. Mortos roars and snarls but Bennett has him say it into the translator.

The translator says something about cheese, fondue, and oh, words Bennett can’t repeat. Sammy says that’s not what it says! Don’t they know Roaranese? No… Sammy says Mortos was saying, it’s a deal! Sparta is right on the money again! These four shake hands, but will they make sure there are NEW ROH World Tag Team Champions one way or another?

ROH Women’s Pure Championship: Deonna Purrazzo VS Steph De Lander!

The Virtuosa says she is not backing down from any challenge, because she still has work to do as the inaugural Women’s Pure Champion. And tonight’s lesson is the difference between learning the Pure Rules, and mastering them. Steph violated the rules even on her road to this match, will Deonna teach her the error of her ways? Or will ROH soon belong to SDL?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see whose way wins out!

The Code of Honor is skipped as Deonna does not respect Steph. The bell rings, we’re on the clock, and the two tie up. Steph puts Deonna in a corner, slaps her around, then taunts her. Deonna and Steph reset, circle, and tie up again. Deonna wrenches but Steph breaks free. The fans duel between “Virtuosa!” “S D L!” and the two reset. They tie up, Deonna waistlocks, then headlocks. Steph powers up but can’t power out. Steph lifts, Deonna fights that, then Deonna hits a tornado takeover! Deonna knuckle locks, top wristlocks, then stands on the arm! The fans cheer before Deonna STOMPS the arm! Deonna drags Steph up, but Steph goes to the ROPEBREAK!

The fans applaud as Deonna lets go, and that is Steph’s first. Steph bails out, then goes looking under the ring? The ref reprimands, but he also keeps Deonna back. Steph snatches a chair from security, and the fans are torn as Steph slides it in. Deonna kicks it back out! It jams Steph up, but the ref gets the chair outta there. Deonna goes after Steph but Steph Electric Chair SLAMS Deonna off the apron! Steph then takes a seat while she soaks up heat. Steph then tells everyone to kiss this before she puts Deonna in. Steph stomps Deonna, covers, TWO! The fans rally while Steph whips and scoops to SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, TWO!

The fans rally but Steph eggs Deonna on. Steph pie faces Deonna, drags her up, and suplexes! The fans cheer Steph and she mocks Deonna by taking a bow. Steph whips Deonna, runs up, but Deonna BOOTS her away! Then KNEES her in the back! Deonna goes for the clinch, but Steph grabs ropes! Deonna falls out of her own leg sweep, but that’s Steph’s second! Steph is annoyed but she BOOTS Deonna down! Cover, TWO! The fans rally again but Steph clamps onto Deonna with a chinlock. Deonna endures, the fans rally up, but Steph leans on the hold. Deonna still rises up, snapmares free, then ducks ‘n’ dodges to BOOT Steph!

Deonna keeps moving, she BOOTS again! But then Steph DECKS Deonna with a closed fist! That’s her warning, but the strike was still effective! The fans rally again as both women rise up, and Steph runs up, but into a wrench, kick, and KNEE LIFT! Then the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Deonna rolls over now, FUJIWARA! Steph freaks out, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! That’s her final one, but Deonna holds until the ref counts 4! Deonna hurries to get Steph up, but Steph BACKDROPS! She sits on the cover, TWO! Deonna runs up but into a kick! Steph puts Deonna in the corner, but Deonna BOOTS her! Deonna goes up, but Steph ROCKS her with a forearm!

Steph runs side to side to BOOT Deonna! Then she brings her off the corner for the PACKAGE PLEX! Cover, TWO! Deonna survives and Steph is frustrated. Steph drags Deonna up, ROCKS Deonna, but Deonna ROCKS Steph! Steph ROCKS Deonna, Deonna ROCKS Steph, repeat! The fans fire up as Deonna fires a flurry! Deonna winds up, and she ROCKS Steph again! But Steph kicks low! Steph runs, into an UPPERCUT! Deonna runs, but Steph fireman’s carries! Deonna slips free, shoves Steph at the ref, but then Steph dodges! Deonna almost hits the ref! The bell rings, and Skye CLOBBERS Zayda! Velvet goes to roll Skye, but Marina keeps Skye standing! Marina shoves Skye aside, Velvet avoids a stomp, and Marina sees Skye showing punch. Skye stops, but Zayda DECKS Skye! Velvet rolls Marina, TWO, and Zayda rolls Velvet! TWO as Marina drags Zayda up, but Zayda fires elbows. Zayda slips around, STUNNER! Marina staggers, Velvet runs to UPPERCUT Skye! Then Velvet runs up, but Marina puts her on the apron. Velvet HOTSHOTS, Zayda CODE BREAKERS, then they DOUBLE DROPKICK! Marina bails out, Zayda talks trash, and then she stares down with Velvet.

Skye shrieks, but Marina blocks the kick to KNEE and BUTTERFLY PLEX! It was almost a Paradigm Shift/Death Rider Driver! Cover, Zayda breaks it! Zayda TOSSES Marina out, talks trash, then goes to Skye. Zayda turns Skye but Skye flips it to a backslide! ONE, Zayda blocks the knee, but Skye SLAPS and SLAPS and SLAPS! Zayda fires a flurry of forearms, then a SOBAT! Zayda runs, Marina trips her up and drags her out! And THROWS her over commentary! Zayda ends up on Moxley and takes him out of his chair! The fans fire up but then Velvet TACKLES Skye and covers! Marina hurries and breaks it! Then she THROWS Velvet down!

Marina drags Velvet around by a leg, HALF CRAB! Zayda drags herself back into the ring to clamp on a SLEEPER! Marina still holds onto Velvet as she stands, Skye SUPERKICKS Marina! Marina is still up!? And she RAMS Zayda into buckles! Zayda CLUBS Marina, Skye ROCKS Marina, then SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Cover, Velvet breaks it! Zayda spins Velvet around to CHOP! Skye ROCKS Marina, fires off more shots, but Zayda runs up! Skye sends her into Marina! Velvet runs up, she hits Marina! Velvet and Zayda send Skye in, Marina BOOTS her down! Velvet TOSSES Zayda, runs up, and uses Skye to hit Marina with POETRY IN MOTION! Velvet keeps moving, PO- NO! Marina catches Velvet this time, and POWERBOMBS her onto Skye! The fans fire up, but then Zayda is climbing! Marina high stacks, Zayda SPLASHES it all apart! The fans fire up as all four women are down! Zayda hurries to cover Velvet, TWO! Zayda clamps onto legs, HALF CRAB! Skye is back, and she CLOBBERS Zayda using the belt!

The fans boo but Skye still covers Zayda. ONE as Marina snatches Skye into a SLEEPER!! Skye flails, reaches out, and SMACKS her with the belt! Skye roars, wrenches, and hops on, but Marina stays up! Marina sits on the cover, TWO, but then she has the leg! Skye flails, fights the turnover, but Marina drags her around. Velvet climbs a corner, Marina has the HEEL HOOK! But Velvet FROG SPLASHES Marina! Cover, Velvet wins!!

The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and the fans rally as we’re on the clock. The two circle, feel things out, and knuckle lock. They go shoulder to shoulder, then clinch. Shibata slips around, Lee slips free, but Shibata rolls to wrench and wrangle Lee. Lee rolls, trips Shibata, then floats for a toehold, only for Shibata to chinlock. Lee spins through, steps over the leg guard, but Shibata blocks the lateral press. Lee spins around, has the legs, but Shibata trips Lee to then sit on a cover. ONE but Shibata flips around and covers again, ONE as Lee bridges! The fans cheer, but then Shibata grabs an arm and wristlocks.

Lee slips around to hammerlock, then full nelson, but Shibata uses his leg for leverage. Shibata breaks free, wrenches, but Lee rolls, only for Shibata to wrangle Lee again. Shibata cannot believe it! He had the lead in the ropebreaks and perhaps even in points, but Lee found a way to snatch this one away! Lee passes his greatest test as Pure Champion, will there be no stopping him now?

Lexy Nair is with Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds & John Silver as Uno & Reynolds try and reason with Silver on Preston Vance. She asks if Vance is in or out. It is two votes for in, one for out. If they want to go forward to the future, they need to remember the past. Silver says he is, do they not remember what Vance & The Frat House were like? But Vance storms in. He says yes, he messed up, but for once, think on what they went through. Silver doesn’t want Vance touching him. Silver doesn’t like Vance, he will never trust Vance. Silver storms off, Reynolds says he’ll talk to him. Uno tries to assure Vance that Silver will come around. But will the Dark Order get their numbers up again?

ROH World Tag Team Championships Fatal 4 Way: Mistico y Mascara Dorada VS Sammy Guevara & Beast Mortos VS Top Flight VS The Kingdom!

CMLL’s El Sky Team is dripping with gold, but that just means they’ve got a bigger target on their backs. Three teams get the chance to take these titles, will we have another change in the status quo? Or can the Talisman & King of the Ropes overcome these staggering odds?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, but then the alliance of Kingdom & LFI attack! The fans boo as they first mug El Sky Team 4v2, then Mortos goes after Top Flight! The ref reprimands, but Sammy (or is it Samuel?) soaks up heat holding up one of the tag titles while The Kingdom TOSS Top Flight and Mistico! Taven then takes a turn with the title to soak up even more heat. Mortos fires off on Dorada, stomps him, and Kingdom goes after Top Flight on the outside. Sammy adds on with Dorada, then goes outside after Mistico. Mortos CHOKES Dorada, Kingdom shoves Top Flight, but Top Flight skins the cat up into the ring!

Top Flight then DOUBLE PLANCHA! Down goes The Kingdom! Top Flight puts Taven in, Darius follows, and now the bell rings! As such, only two teams are legal at any given time, and can tag out to any other team. Taven headlocks, Darius powers up and out, but Taven RUNS Darius over! “IIII’M Matthew Taven!” The fans boo but things speed up. Taven cartwheels over Darius, then sidesteps, but Darius handsprings and arm-drags! Then Darius RUNS Taven over, keeps moving, but he fakes Taven out on the dropdown to swing and DROPKICK! The fans cheer and Darius UPPERCUTS Taven to the corner.

The fans cheer Top Flight on as Darius runs up, but Taven pops Darius up. Dante tags in as Darius goes out, and Dante A-LIST LARIATS! Tag to Darius for the snap suplex, then Darius kips up to tag Dante back in. Dante slingshot SENTONS! The fans cheer as Dante then sets up to STANDING MOONSAULT! Taven crawls, but then Bennett says not to tag? Dante runs up, Taven BOOTS him, and Bennett hits the BOSTON BAYONET! Taven adds a MISSILE DROPKICK! Bennett then gets Dante up, The Kingdom double whip, then pop Dante up, only for Dante to RANA Bennett away! Taven back suplexes, Dante lands out, then Dante waistlocks.

Taven backs Dante up into the corner but Darius tags in. Darius somersaults in and RAMS Taven! Then mule kick! Dante goes up to add a DOUBLE STOMP! Darius hits Sammy just because, then Top Flight regroups. The fans cheer as Top Flight whips Taven, atomic drops, then BULLDOG KNEE SMASH COMBO! The fans fire up while Dante covers, TWO! Darius brings Taven up, Taven shoves Darius, but Darius ducks ‘n’ dodges, only for Taven to HEEL KICK! Taven reaches out for Bennett but Bennett says Sparta says tag Mortos! Taven says okay, and he tags “Franklinfurt.” Mortos and Taven hug it out and the fans are a bit torn.

Mortos waits on Darius, but the fans chant “A I SUCKS! A I SUCKS!” Mortos HEADBUTTS Darius, then tags Sammy. The fans boo as Sammy steps in, and he points back to Mortos. The fans cheer for Mortos so Sammy tags Mortos back in. The fans cheer Mortos, but then Sammy says hold on, he wants back in. The fans boo but Mortos says tranquilo. Mortos winds up to tag Sammy. The fans boo but Sammy cheers himself on. Sammy again points to Mortos, the fans cheer, so Sammy winds up. Darius spins Sammy, Sammy dodges, Darius BLASTS Mortos! Darius UPPERCUTS away on Sammy, then whips. Sammy reverses, hurdles, but Darius stays back!

Darius waistlocks but Sammy bucks the O’Conner Roll. Sammy runs up, Darius hurdles over, then Darius DROPKICKS Sammy down! Darius does his own tranquilo! The fans cheer that while Sammy scrambles around. Sammy asks Kingdom for advice, but the fans cheer Top Flight. Taven shows Sammy what Sparta has, and Sammy gets up. Sammy tags to Mistico! The fans cheer while Mistico is confused. Mistico and Darius step up and the fans continue to cheer. Darius offers a handshake, Mistico considers it, and Mistico accepts. The fans cheer, but then Mistico trips Darius! Mistico gets a leg but Darius kicks free.

Darius trips Mistico, things speed up, Mistico drops down then hurdles over. Darius leaps over Mistico, then dodges, but Mistico springboards to CROSSBODY! Mistico shoves Darius, arm-drags, but Darius headscissors! Mistico kips free, Darius sweeps to cover, ONE! Mistico sweeps to cover, ONE! Both men handspring up and the fans cheer again! Mistico offers the handshake, Darius takes it, and they both tag out to Dorada and Dante. The fans rally as the two circle, and Dorada takes a swing. Dante ducks, waistlocks, but Dorada switches. Dante switches, shoves, then runs up, but Dorada goes up and over to handspring away!

The fans cheer as Dante nods and says that was a bit impressive. Things speed up again, Dorada drops down then hurdles over, but Dante front flips over Dorada! The fans fire up for that, and then Dante rolls back to RANA, but Dorada handsprings through! They keep moving, Dorada wheelbarrows to arm-drag, but Dante handsprings again! Dorada ducks a kick, Dante ducks a kick, they block kicks, and Dorada shakes out his arm. They shake hands, but hen LFI attacks! Dorada and Dante dodge to STEREO SUPERKICK! Kingdom tries, but Darius and Mistico STEREO SUPERKICK! LFI & Kingdom bail out, and the fans rally up!

El Sky Team y SkyFlight build speed, but Mortos sneaks a tag before the DOUBLE TORNILLOS! Top Flight build speed, but Mortos runs up! He dodges their lariats, rolls over their backdrops, then breaks the lariats to DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up for Mortos and he builds speed! Mortos TOPE TORNILLOS and down goes Sky Team! Sammy runs up to whip Dante, Dante reverses, but Sammy goes up and over. SCREW KICK on Darius, then feed to Dante for the NECKBREAKER DDT COMBO! Sammy stands on the corner, and he SUPER SHOOTING STAR PRESS! Down goes Sky Team & Top Flight!

The fans chant “You Still Suck!” but Sammy soaks it up. Mortos then CHOPS Dante, shoves him to the corner, and runs up. Dante dodges the splash but not the BOOT! SLING-DOG! Dante gets spiked but Mortos whips him for the scoop and torture rack! BEAST BREAKER, and DISCUS LARIAT! Cover, TWO!! Dante survives, but Mortos drags him up. Bennett says tag so Mortos tags Taven. Mortos tags Sammy, and Sammy CHOPS! Mortos gorilla presses Dante, then LAWN DART CUTTER! Sammy wants another and Mortos gets Dante up! Feed to the JUMP KNEE! Then a whip for the POP-UP SAMOAN DROP! Taven FLIES and takes everyone out! The fans fire up again, and Bennett Electric Chair Lifts Darius! Taven is on the apron, JUST THE TIP of the knee DOOMSDAY COMBO! Sammy gives Dante a CUTTER! Taven sends Dorada to Bennett, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER, and JUST THE TIP of the knee again! Cover, TWO!! Dorada survives and shocks Taven! Taven calls to LFI, they join in as they mug Dorada with stomps! The fans boo as LFI and Kingdom stand tall, and Bennett shows off his smartphone with Sparta on it. The mugging continues, then the teams stand down. Taven brings Dorada up, keeps him from Mistico and CLUBS him down! Taven taunts Mistico, then stands Dorada up for a headlock. Dorada reaches out, Taven mocks him, then Taven CLUBS Dorada down. Taven taunts Mistico, too, but Mistico slaps Taven’s hand away. Fans think that’s a tag, but no, the only caveat is that teammates can’t be legal together. Taven headlocks Dorada, but Dorada tags Sammy! Now LFI must face Kingdom! Taven says no, they can’t, this goes against the plan!

The fans tell Sammy off, Taven covers Sammy’s ears. But Dorada CROSSBODIES both men down! Dorada tags Darius, and now Top Flight and Sky Team build speed! They DIVE onto Kingdom and LFI in turn! The fans fire up again, then Top Flight and Sky Team go back to the ring. Dante pushes Dorada, Mistico pushes Dante, Darius pushes Mistico. They fire hands as the fans fire up again! Darius ROCKS Dorada, Dante ROCKS Mistico! Top Flight whips, Sky Team dosido! Dante dodges Mistico while Dorada SUPERKICKS Darius! Dante goes up and around to GAMANGIRI Mistico! LFI hold up the belts, but then Cage POWERBOMBS Dorada! But here come Ortiz, Mance Warner, Outrunners, and more! They all run off Don Callis Family, LFI and Kingdom! The ROH Tag Division is drawing the battlelines, will it be war between the best and the worst?

Shane says every generation has their greatest fighter: Ali; Tyson; Mayweather. And now, Moriarty is added to that list of illustrious fighters. Business is up, and speaking of business… Since they hired Hurt Syndicate, ain’t nobody standing in their way! How’d they like that match?

RIP CRU, we hardly knew ye. But the darkness inside The Problem Child has come to lights, camera, Action! The Sight to See may only see things his way, but will he have his way in ROH’s most violent stipulation possible? Or will everything be fine, it’s fine~?

In fact, Lio comes prepared with a wagon full of weapons! And is there barbed wire woven into his umbrella hat? Yes, there definitely is… The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and so are the stakes in this final fight of former friends!

The bell rings, the fans rally for Lio, but Lio and Action just stare down. Lio grins while the fans chant, “It’s Fine! It’s Fine!” Lio and Action step forward, and Lio tries to talk to Action, but Action ROCKS Lio with a haymaker! The fans boo, and Lio is no longer smiling. At least, not until he turns around again. The fans tell Action he messed up, and Lio CHOKES Action! Action breaks free, fires hands, but Lio bobs ‘n’ weaves. Lio runs, redirects, but then so does Action! Action keeps up with Lio, they both dodge, and the fans fire up for the standoff! Lio smiles again as he and Action circle. Action and Lio both run, redirect, then drop down!

The fans cheer but Lio says, “No, no, no, no!” The fans cheer for “SABU!” per the gear Lio is wearing, and Lio goes out to look under the ring. Lio grins but Action gets worried. Action hurries and he BOOTS Lio down! Action puts Lio against the railing to CHOP! Then he CHOPS Lio again! Action brings Lio around, and whips him hard into railing! Action soaks up heat while Lio crawls away. Now Action goes looking, and he brings out a broom? Lio blocks the attack, they tug-o-war over the broom, and the broom ends up laced through the corner. Action YANKS Lio into the post! Action then stalks Lio, winds up, and he CRACKS Lio in the stomach!

Action CRACKS Lio on the back, and he’s bent up the broom handle! Lio crawls away, Action stalks him again, and Lio looks under the ring. Action swings, Lio blocks, and Lio kicks low! Lio CLUBS Action with the broom handle! Then JAMS him up again and again! And then another SMACK on the back! Action scrambles into the ring, and fans chant, “Use The Shovel! BURY HIM!” Lio swings first, Action ducks, then Action rolls Lio up! TWO, Lio swings, but Action ducks it, jumps it, then BUZZSAWS! Basement DDT! Cover, TWO! The fans boo, but Action grabs the broom handle. Lio still holds on, so Action stomps Lio down.

Action CHOKES Lio with the broom handle, and shouts, “It ISN’T fine!” The fans boo more but Action stops choking Lio to mock Sabu’s pose of pointing to the sky. Action flips Lio off, then stomps him down. Action CHOKES Lio with the broom handle, then uses it for the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Cover, TWO! Lio toughs it out but Action goes looking under the ring. Action doesn’t like what’s there so he looks on the other side. Action brings out a dustpan set and CHUCKS it at Lio! Then he CHUCKS another broom! Then an… 8-by-2? Then a table! But Action says no, no tables for Philly! But then Lio HANDSPRING KICKS Action down!

Lio CHUCKS the dustpan back at Action! The fans cheer as Lio then brings out… an umbrella! Lio opens the umbrella and the fans cheer! The rain! CROSSBODY off the apron! The fans fire up as Lio is Mary Poppins, y’all! Lio goes looking, and he brings out a box of some kind. Lio brings out a spare turnbuckle bar! Lio CHOKES Action with the hook end!! The ref checks Action while Lio brings out the TABLE! The fans cheer as Lio brings the table and props it up against railing! The fans cheer “E C DUB! E C DUB!” as Lio makes sure the table is placed just right. But Action SUPERKICKS! Then he torture racks Lio, and aims, only for Lio to CLAW eyes!

Lio shoves Action away, then SPEARS him through the table!! The fans fire up again while Lio puts Action in the ring. Cover, TWO! Lio drags Action up, cravats, and STUNNERS! Action flops over, and the fans again chant, “Use the Shovel!” Lio goes to his wagon, and yes, he brings the shovel! Then he goes looking under the ring, and he chucks trash can lid after trash can lid into the ring! Lio CHOKES Action with the shovel head!! The fans cheer, and then Lio reels Action in! Action fights the lift, wrenches free, then slips under! Action has the pump handle, but Lio fights free! Lio shoves Action, then CHUCKS a trash can lid into Action’s face!

The fans fire up while Action falls into the corner. Lio goes looking again, and he brings out some chairs! Lio winds up, and he CHUCKS a chair into Action’s face! The chair then perfectly wedges itself with the ropes?! Is this because of him? The fans go nuts as then Lio CHUCKS another chair in! The fans cheer as Lio then sets up one chair, and he lines up a shot! But Action uses that launching pad to LARIAT Lio first! And then he pump handles, PUMP ACTION SIDE SLAM!! Cover, TWO!! Action only clips the chair, but he wants another try! DEATH VALLEY DRIVER on the chair! Cover, TWO! Lio survives and the fans fire up!

The fans chant “You Still Suck!” but Action flips them off in return. Action rains down Lio, the fans tell Action off, but Action gets a trash can lid. Action SMACKS Lio on the back with it! Action wedges a chair into a corner manually, even though the chair is all beat up. Action kicks Lio, whips him in, and Lio CRASHES into the chair!! Lio falls to the floor while the fans boo Action, but Action just soaks it up. The ref checks on Lio, and he’s somehow still in this. Action stalks Lio, armed with a trash can lid. The fans boo more but Hook drags Lio over. Bowens puts the broken glass on the table, then Hook shoves Lio down. The Opps serve Lio up for Action to SUPER 450 SPLASH!! The fans go nuts at how hard Action hits the target! The Opps drag Lio into the ring, help Action make the cover, ONE?!?!? Lio survives and no one can believe it! But Philly loves it! Action is furious, he and Lio fire forearm shots back and forth! Action KNEES low, CLUBS Lio, then whips him into what’s left of the red door! Then Bowens has the barbed-wire chair in the corner! Action whips Lio in, but Lio slides to a stop! Lio then dodges, and Action has to stop himself from colliding with chair!

ROH World Championship: Bandido VS Nick Wayne!

The Most Wanted has had this bull’s eye on his back for 502 DAYS, having overcome every challenger in the last 16 months. But even so, The Prodigy still believes he’s going to become the youngest world champion in not just ROH but in ALL of pro-wrestling history! Will that confidence make Nick’s dream a reality? Or will he also fail to bring down The Outlaw?

Nick and Bandido have entrance gear that almost parallels the other, with armor and capes like a comic book superhero battling a supervillain. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who survives a brand new day!

The Code of Honor is not upheld as Nick slaps Bandido’s hand away. The bell rings, the two circle, and they tie up. They go around while the fans cheer Bandido on, but Nick powers Bandido to the corner. The ref counts, Nick backs away slowly, then he fakes a backhand to aim a finger gun. Bandido nods, he respects the mind games, and the two reset. Nick says Bandido has entered his world! The two tie up, Nick waistlocks, but Bandido switches. Nick powers Bandido to the ropes, the ref counts, but then Nick wrenches Bandido’s arms to cross them. Nick fakes the shot again to double finger gun. The fans boo, but Bandido headlocks!

Nick powers up, pries the hold open and slips around so he can headlock back. Nick wrenches Bandido, but Bandido rolls, handsprings, and wrenches in return. Nick endures, spins, and slips through to arm-drag! Nick has the armlock but Bandido kips up to arm-drag in return! Nick runs, Bandido dodges, but Nick handsprings over the dropdown. Nick hurdles then sidesteps, but Bandido handsprings over the sweep! Now Bandido sidesteps and he pops Nick up, but Nick stands on Bandido’s shoulders! Nick backflips, then runs up, but he avoids the boot, the roundhouse, only to fall for Bandido’s feint! Bandido aims his finger gun while the fans are thunderous!

Nick backs away to ropes as he cools off. Bandido waits on Nick, but Nick slips through to KNEE low and CLUB Bandido down! Nick mocks the finger guns but the fans boo. Nick stands Bandido up to CHOP! Nick whips Bandido, Bandido ducks ‘n’ dodges, and they clinch! Bandido HIP TOSSES Nick, then gets him up. Bandido whips, DROPKICKS, and Nick bails out! Bandido builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit at the ramp! The fans fire up as Bandido then gets Nick up, refreshes the ring count, and he builds speed again! Bandido DIVES and it’s another direct hit! The fans fire up and want “ONE MORE TIME! ONE MORE TIME!”

Bandido gets Nick up, goes back to the ring, and indeed, Bandido builds speed again! But Nick GAMANGIRIS Bandido first! The fans boo as Bandido falls to the floor! Nick stalks Bandido, drags him up, but Bandido CHOPS! The fans cheer as Bandido then stands Nick up, and CHOPS again! The fans rally for Bandido, but Nick RAMS him into the railing! Nick runs up, but into a FLAPJACK onto railing! The fans fire up as Bandido gets space, and he runs back in, but into a HIP TOSS into railing! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! The ring count is climbing, Nick rolls in, but just to refresh the count.

Nick looks to the steel steps, then he drags them over! Nick huffs ‘n’ puffs as he tips the steps over and positions them closer to the apron. Nick looms over Bandido, and he CLAWS at the mask! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Nick stops at 4. Nick mocks Bandido while he paces around.

Nick goes after the mask again, and he’s ripped that one eyehole open! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Nick stops. Nick stomps Bandido, but Bandido shoves back. Bandido dodges Nick, then RAMS into him again and again! Bandido runs corner to corner, blocks a boot, but Nick reels Bandido in, BUCKLE PLEX! The fans boo but Nick just waits on Bandido. Nick drags Bandido up by his mask, and the fans boo harder for it. Nick winds up to CHOP Bandido to the corner! Nick then stomps Bandido, stomps him again, then again. Bandido pops Nick up for the reverse press slam! The fans fire up as Bandido builds speed to SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO! Nick survives but the fans rally behind Bandido! Bandido says he’s that close, and he rises again. The fans rally behind Bandido as he hoists Nick up, but Nick slips free again. The fans lose their minds over that one, but it was double-edged for Nick. Both men stir, and Nick drags Bandido up. Nick puts Bandido in, stands him up, and cravats for a SHIRANUI! Cover, TWO! Bandido survives but Nick stays focused. The fans rally up for Bandido but Nick scuffs him. Nick eggs Bandido on, but Bandido stands to CHOP! The fans “WOO~” but Nick says do that again. Bandido CHOPS again! Nick nods and eggs Bandido on again. Nick puts his hands back, the fans fire up, and Bandido winds up. But then Bandido SOBATS, KICKS, but Nick ROCKS and ROLLING ELBOWS! Bandido SNAP GERMANS, but Nick is right up!? SNAP GERMAN! Bandido is up, Nick SUPERKICKS! Nick runs, POP-UP CUTTER! But then Bandido gets up to POISON-RANA! But Nick is up, ROLLING CRUCIFIX!! Both men are down and the fans are electric! They cheer “ROH! ROH!” for making this match possible. Nick stirs as a standing count climbs. Both men are down at 5, then 7! 8! 9!! Both men sit up from the dead!! The fans fire up again as the two go head to head. Bandido CHOPS, Nick CHOPS, repeat! They both scowl, then they look outside. The steps! They go out and brawl near the steps!

The fans rally as the forearms fly, and Bandido goes to fireman’s carry! Nick flails and fights with furious elbows! Nick then ENZIGIRIS and Bandido sits down! Bandido flops to the steps, Nick runs up! Bandido blocks the kick, and THROWS Nick! Nick SPIKES off the steps!! The fans go nuts again as Nick hits the floor! “This is Awesome!” as Bandido rolls into the ring. The ref checks Nick, and he’s definitely bloodied! Nick sputters as he sits up, and Bandido waits on the ring count. Nick is still down at 5 but ROH has a 20 count. Nick struggles to sit up as the crimson mask flows onto his chest. Nick still springs in at 9!

The fans rally as Bandido drags Nick into the drop zone, then goes up! SHOOTING STAR but onto KNEES! Nick cradles Bandido, TWO!! Bandido survives, but here comes Nick! They DOUBLE LARIAT, then roar! DOUBLE LARIAT, and both men lean on each other! The fans fire up again as Nick swats, HEADBUTTS, then winds up, but Bandido LARIATS through! Bandido lifts Nick, and is he trying a head trap? But Nick BITES Bandido’s hands! Nick slips through to CODE RED!! Cover, TWO!! Bandido survives again and the fans fire up! Nick sputters but he sits up again. The fans rally, Nick rises, and he brings Bandido up.

Nick reels Bandido in, but Bandido blocks the lift! Bandido fireman’s carries, but Nick fights free! Nick runs, but into another fireman’s carry! Bandido pops Nick up, ROLLING LIGER KICK!! Nick flounders onto ropes, and Bandido deals the cards! BLACKJACK- NO, Nick pops up to POISON-RANA!! And then the FISHERMAN DRIVER!! Cover, ONE?!?! Everyone is shocked, but Nick ROUNDHOUSES Bandido! Athena is upset people think Hazuki has what it takes, will this be the night she breaks the Wildheart? Or is Hazuki going to be the one to change history?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if the spark can outlast forever!

The fans taunt Athena with a chant for the Eagles since she’s from Dallas. The Code of Honor is not upheld, then Hazuki runs up at the bell! Athena dodges, Hazuki dodges, but then Athena wrenches Hazuki to a Gory Especial. Hazuki sunset flips but Athena rolls through. Athena shoves Hazuki, they tie up, and Hazuki fires forearms! Hazuki spins Athena, Athena fights the suplex, but Hazuki fires body shots. Hazuki suplexes, Athena slips free and waistlocks. Hazuki fights the lift, hits as headlock takeover, but Athena handsprings through! The fans fire up again while Athena steadies herself.

Athena says okay, okay, let’s calm down. The fans rally as the two circle, and Athena offers the Code of Honor again. Hazuki isn’t falling for it, and the fans are dueling. Athena DECKS Hazuki! Then Athena digs her boot into Hazuki in the corner! Athena almost has Hazuki falling out of the ring! Athena rolls in at 19 and the fans applaud. Hazuki runs up, dodges a shot from Athena, then tilt-o-whirl SPIKE-RANA! Athena flounders, Hazuki runs up, BACK ELBOW! Hazuki goes up, TORNADO DDT! The fans fire up again, and Hazuki hurries to cover, ROPEBREAK! A miscalculation from Hazuki but she still fires up! The fans are with Hazuki while Billie throws a tantrum on Athena’s behalf. Hazuki scrubs Athena’s face, then runs to BOOT- NO, Athena avoids the wash to SOBAT! Hazuki ends up on the apron, but she comes back, SNAP POWERSLAM on the apron! The fans rally again as Hazuki steps over Athena. Hazuki drags Athena to a drop zone, goes up the corner, but Athena hurries away. Hazuki still aims, leaps, but Athena gets under! Athena comes back, floats over, and ATAXIA! Cover, TWO!! Athena clamps on the KOJI KLUTCH!! Hazuki endures, but she’s turning red! The fans rally harder and harder as Hazuki reaches out! Athena shifts, but Hazuki uses that to stack! TWO as Athena lets go! Athena UPPERCUTS Hazuki down!

“This is Awesome!” as Athena rises again. Athena drags Hazuki around, ties up the legs, then gets the arms! Hazuki fires hands into Athena’s leg, then wrangles her, FUJIWARA, then CROSSFACE!! The fans fire up as Hazuki has it on tight and pulls back! Athena endures, rolls it around, ROPEBREAK!! Hazuki lets Athena go, then runs to BOOT WASH! Athena falls back outta the ring! The fans fire up as Hazuki builds speed again, and DIVES into a GAMANGIRI! Athena drags Hazuki off the apron to THROW her into railing! The fans are torn but Athena drags Hazuki up, just to THROW her into more railing!

Athena then drags Hazuki to the ramp! The fans rally up but they’re going from ramp to stage! Athena reels Hazuki in with a gut wrench! Hazuki fights free, and fires forearms! Hazuki ROCKS Athena, but Athena blocks the boot! Athena reels Hazuki in, Hazuki fights free again, and she has Athena! FISHERMAN BUSTER on the ramp! The fans fire up with Hazuki, and she drags Athena up to THROW her into railing! And then more railing! The fans cheer Hazuki on as she gets Athena up to POST her! The fans fire up while Billie & Diamante are very worried! Hazuki pushes Athena into the ring and the fans fire up again.

Hazuki climbs up, up, and the fans cheer her on as she aims! SUPER SENTON!! Cover, TWO!!! Athena survives and shocks Hazuki! Hazuki vows to end it, and she brings Athena up! But Billie and Diamante are on the apron! The ref stops Diamante, Billie stops the suplex! Billie SHOVES Athena into the ref!! The ref goes down, and now Diamante joins in so they can run up on Hazuki! Hazuki dodges, CROSSBODIES, but they both catch her and TOSS her out! The fans boo as The Minions stomp away! They kick Hazuki back in, drag her up, and DOUBLE- NO, Hazuki lands out, and DOUBLE CODE BREAKERS!

Hazuki runs to DOUBLE SHOTGUN Billie & Diamante to the floor! The fans fire up as Hauzki DOUBLE DIVES! Down go The Minions and Hazuki high-fives the front row! Hazuki hurries back in, runs up on Athena, but Athena snatches her into the deathlock! SURFBOARD STOMP!! Then the body scissor cradle, TWO!?!? Hazuki survives, but Athena just drags her up again! Pump handle and TOMBSTONE!! Cover, TWO?!!? Hazuki survives again and Athena is shocked! The fans are thunderous for Hazuki but Athena snarls. Athena drags Hazuki up, DUMPS her out, then intimidates commentary! She clears the desk!

The fans are torn as Athena drags the table around, then puts Hazuki on the apron. Athena CHOPS, CHOPS, then SHOVES Caprice Coleman so that the way is clear! The fans boo but Hazuki slips free! SUPERKICK! Athena wobbles, Hazuki puts her on the apron, and DRAPING DDT to the floor!! Hazuki drags Athena onto the table, CLUBS her, CLUBS again, then she goes to the corner. The fans cheer as Hazuki climbs to the very top! Hazuki aims, SUPER DUPER FROG SPLASH down through the table!! The fans fire up as Hazuki then drags Athena from the wreckage, puts her in the ring, and hurries to end this!

Hazuki suplexes, BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Athena survives all that and Hazuki can’t believe it! Athena flounders, the fans duel, but Hazuki grabs the legs. Hazuki YANKS Athena, Athena lands out! Athena puts Hazuki on the apron, HOTSHOT STUNNER! Hazuki falls, Athena snarls, and the fans rally again. Athena builds speed to DIVING O-FACE!!! Athena then puts Hazuki back in, goes up a corner, and TRUE O-FACE!!! Cover, ATHENA WINS!

Winner: Athena, by pinfall (still ROH Women’s World Champion)

The Fallen Goddess got a lot more than she bargained for, but with a little help from her Minions, she survives to see another day! Athena surprisingly shakes Hazuki’s hand, and Hazuki bows in respect. Then even more surprising, Athena bows in respect in return! The fans cheer, will we see these two run it back one day? Will Athena truly reign forever?

My Thoughts:

An awesome night for ROH, though not many surprises. I will say, I did not think The Twist would win the Six Man titles, but that was a great match, and Jay Lethal becoming the first to have all the ROH titles is great, it needed to happen anyway because Lethal is that good. I also had limited time so I skipped the C3 play-in cuz I figured Garcia was winning anyway. Good promo from him after, and he’ll have a great match with Claudio, but I would think Claudio wins so that there’s the chance of Moxley VS Claudio because duh, that’s going to be even better. But also, hopefully Eddie Kingston will be back quickly, he was just getting going again.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Why have a SIXTY MINUTE time limit when you don’t even use half? That goes for both Pure titles, but boy, only getting nine minutes from Deonna VS Steph? C’mon, ROH, it’s a title match, not a Proving Ground, find a way for them to push things to at least 15. Steph still did all the things a Heel should do in Pure rules, but because of the short time limit, this was no different than what you’d get on TV. Moriarty VS Shibata at least has the excuse of being a change because Nigel needs to prioritize the C3. Great wins for Deonna and Lee as they continue their reigns, and very good promo from STP after. Though, where was Tehuti if he’s the newest member of STP?

Great Fatal 4 Way for the Women’s TV title, but it made sense for Velvet to retain. Diamante and Marina are much more involved on AEW, and Zayda is still new, so it should be someone more established in ROH that takes this title from Velvet. Great Fatal 4 Way Tag as well, and I really appreciate this being where “Sparta AI” costs Kingdom. The gimmick can keep going beyond this if Kingdom claims it just needs an update or more data. El Sky Team retaining is fine, they’re bringing those belts back and forth between CMLL while also having like three belts each, so that’s cool. I just wonder where Top Flight is ever gonna get belts, they’ve been at this for a minute now.

Lio VS Action was great stuff, very creative, and always great when the physics of a chair does something almost magical that no human could actually set up. Big twist in The Opps helping Action, I wonder if this is Hook making moves since Samoa Joe still isn’t back. Lio breaking out the novelty canteen for his black goo was interesting. I don’t know if he comes back for revenge or moves on, but it’s certainly more intrigue in this “Black Heart” persona. Awesome Men’s World Championship match, Nick looked great, but I had a feeling Bandido would retain. Bandido’s chasing history, and they might wanna set up something like Bandido VS Jay Lethal to see if Bandido “earns” his way to breaking Lethal’s record.

And awesome Women’s World Championship match, and they also made Hazuki look great. There was that concerning moment where Athena was helped by The Minions, that was legit. But they managed to make that work in story, and Athena still makes a great comeback. There’s still no end in sight for Athena’s reign, someone big would have to come in from somewhere else to really shake things up, and the irony is, why wouldn’t that free agent just go to AEW then? ROH is still the small(er) pond, and while Athena deserves to move on, they don’t have anyone to hand the ROH baton to. Maybe Athena really will reign forever.
