But tonight, we see if the Grown-Ass Woman can get her revenge on Nattie’s crew by taking the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship off Nikkita Lyons!

MY THOUGHTS

Awesome match from Dempsey VS Sasaki, wild that they just busted something like that out on Evolve. Honestly, that was worthy of NXT, but it’s just that Sasaki is too new to WWE. Though, maybe Sasaki should just go right to NXT for his wrestling skill alone. Hilarious promo from Jensen and Holyfield where Jensen’s talking all kinds of trash on Holyfield for staying “Holyfield,” and then he turns around to see Elijah there. Elijah even chased Jensen down while Jensen was in his truck, that was cool. Good promo from Thatcher in this week’s episode to set up a Lumberjack match, that’s going to be some good stuff.

Great match from Wren VS Sloane, great win for Wren, and very good bit with Thea going after Lyons to then establish the title match. Very good promo from Laynie, and I bet her injury is just her being away for indie bookings. Last I knew, she was still WWE ID Women’s Champion so I wonder if she defends that while away. Good promo from Harlem Lewis to help hype up the WWE ID Showcase, which was naturally a great Triple Threat. Gal sniping the win was a bit surprising but it fits his oddly Tweener alignment. Gal’s definitely going places because he’s got the charisma and the athletic talent, but him calling Harlem Lewis out for the title might be Gal getting ahead of himself. Maybe Gal’s oddly already on his way back to being a Heel despite the fans starting to like him.

Very good match from Holloway VS Valor, great win for Holloway looking like a beast handling the entire Mog Squad on his own. Good promo from Harlem to talk about how the title changed his life. They also snuck in a clip of him and Harley Riggins teaming on Main Event, that’s a surprise. Is Jax Presley still not back from injury? That aside, very good match from Cutler VS Mathers, and good win for Cutler, but I’m not sure what they’re doing with Mathers. Very good promo from PJ Vasa in response to Laynie Luck, very good promo from Harley Riggins to talk about how he’s been in teams but wants to be a singles guy now. Kinda flies in the face of Harlem being a bit nice to Harley, but whatever.

And a great title match from Lyons VS Thea, and the Evolve crowd has definitely embraced Thea as “DAD.” Great stuff with Anya thinking she stopped Gianna Capri & Veronica Haven when it was Wren and Skylar, but of course the overbooking is why Thea lost. Not sure what it’ll take for Thea to get a championship again. Technically, it’d be her first intended reign as her Women’s North American title reign was in fact a fluke that they had to acknowledge because it was live TV. And apparently Wendy Choo might be doing another persona change with how she momentarily hacked the tron, not sure why they can’t just let her be the one person. But with that tease, maybe Wendy’s the one to dethrone Lyons.
