Renee Paquette is with The Relentless One, The Son of Sting, and The Rated R Superstar, as Cope was the one who asked for this time. What’s on his mind? Cope says yeah, Darby has had Cope’s back since Cope’s first day in AEW, and that continues as he has Cope’s back tonight. Cope also appreciates Borden, and honestly, last week was impressive, let’s keep that rolling. Then Christian Cage finally steps in… And Christian says he’s sorry for the loss of Borden’s father- Cope stops Christian, what’s he doing? Sting isn’t dead. Christian says he’s sorry for the loss of Borden’s father’s career. Okay, still stop.

Darby tells Christian that this isn’t over between them, okay? So Christian can play games and all, but when this is over, absolutely not. Christian says he understands Darby’s hostilities being notorious as TNT Champion. Almost as notorious as when Christian held that title. Do Christian a favor, Darby, and worry about your title while he worries about his, and they’ll be just fine. Cope says they’re good tonight, right? Darby and Christian both sternly say, “Absolutely.” Then let’s go take care of business. They head out, but will they coexist?

FTR and The Don Callis Family speak.

Stokely Hathaway tells Cope & Christian that they shouldn’t be worried about any other tag team aside from FTR. They must’ve forgotten, but FTR is in that Ladder Match at All Out! And trust Stoke when he says, in Chicago, when the night is over, FTR walks out the TWELVE-TIME World Tag Team Champions! But Kevin Knight says let’s not forget, The Young Bucks are in that match, too. Kyle Fletcher brings up those are the same Young Bucks they just beat last week. Callis says yes, this gives him a great opportunity. The way #ProtoJet pounded on The Bucks, maybe they should be in the Ladder Match.

Knight & Fletcher both like that, but Stoke says yeah, well, they can talk about #ProtoJet being contenders after All Out, okay? #TopGuysOut. FTR leaves, Fletcher & Knight feel they’re top guys, but that’s yet to be seen. Will either side of this match be able to hold it together long enough to win? Or will it all fall apart this close to All Out?

The teams sort out and Cope starts against Kyle. Stokely joins commentary, and the irony, they kinda wish it as Callis instead. The fans taunt Callis while Kyle eggs Cope on. They circle, tie up, and Cope powers Kyle to the ropes. The ref counts, Knight protests, but Cope backs off. Kyle smirks as he and Cope reset. They circle, the fans continue to taunt Callis, and the two tie up. Kyle wrenches, wristlocks, but Cope moves around. Cope drop toeholds then has the armlock. Kyle endures the grind, goes to the ropes, and kicks at Cope! The ref reprimands, Cope lets go of Kyle and Kyle hurries away. Knight checks on Kyle and Kyle says he’s fine.

Kyle steps back inside, resets with Cope, then they tie up again. Cope brings Kyle over, tags Darby, and the fans fire up but Kyle hurries away again. Darby smirks as he stares Kyle down, but then Christian tags in! The fans boo but Christian tells Darby to step aside. Christian steps in, Darby steps out, but Darby tags right back in! The fans cheer as the tensions rise, and then Kyle runs up! Darby dodges to headlock, Kyle powers up but can’t power out as Darby holds on. Kyle powers up to back suplex, but Darby lands out, only for Kyle to kick low. Kyle mocks the fans, then suplexes Darby, but Darby fires knees! Borden tags in and the fans fire up!

Darby slips free, shoves Kyle and Borden ROCKS him! Darby ROCKS Kyle, then Borden wrenches! Kyle pulls hair, the fans boo, but Dax Harwood tags in. Dax and Kyle both storm up but Borden stands his ground. Knight and Cash jump in, but then so does Darby, Cope & Christian! The fans fire up but the ref wants this to calm down. The teams back up, still staring down, but things sort back out to just Dax and Borden. Borden and Dax circle, tie up, and Borden powers Dax to the corner. The ref counts, Borden backs off slowly, and pats Dax on the head. Dax says okay, okay, and the two reset. They tie up, and Dax headlocks.

Borden powers up and out, Dax RUNS him over! Dax keeps moving, he RUNS Borden over again! Borden gets up to hurdle, but Dax blocks the hip toss to body shot! Dax ROCKS Borden, then whips corner to corner. Borden goes up and over, and he DROPKICKS Dax down! Cover, TWO! Cash technically had a hand in that as he grabs at Borden, but then Dax wrenches and powers Borden to the corner. Knight traps Borden and Dax winds up, but Borden ducks and Dax DECKS Knight! Kyle tries to hold Borden but he slips free again, Dax DECKS Kyle! The fans fire up as Borden wrenches Dax, but Dax pulls hair to put Borden in an open corner.

Dax CHOPS Borden, CHOPS again, but Borden turns things around to fire body shots and an UPPERCUT! Dax sputters, Borden whips corner to corner, but Dax ELBOWS back! Dax DECKS Darby! Dax headlocks, Borden powers up and out, but Dax grabs ropes to bail out! But Darby is there to fire off! Darby puts Dax in, Borden ROCKS him! Now everyone else jumps in and brawls! The fans fire up while the ref reprimands, but it’s chaos as Dynamite goes picture in picture!

Borden has Dax in a corner while Darby, Cope & Cage TOSS Kyle, Knight & Cash! Borden rains down fists, and he goes to TEN! Dax slumps down, Christian ROCKS Cash just because, and things settle down again. Borden waits while Stoke checks on Dax. Dax says he’s fine, and the DCFTR regroups real quick. Dax takes his time returning to the ring, and he ties up with Borden. Borden headlocks, Darby tags in, and Darby takes the handoff to wrench Dax. Darby CLUBS the arm, grinds the hold, but Dax whips Darby away. Darby BOOTS back, leaps over, then comes back to SHOTGUN Dax down! Darby hurries up top, but he SUPER COFFIN- NO, Cash & Knight catch him!

Knight & Cash carry Darby over, and they let Kyle APRON POWERBOMB Darby down! The ref reprimands, Cope checks on Darby, but Kyle CLOBBERS Cope! Kyle & Knight stomp away, Christian run up, Borden joins in, and it’s another brawl! The fans are fired up seeing this up close against the barriers! Kyle SMACKS Christian off the steel steps! Cash puts Darby back in, then he tags in so he can stomp Darby down. Knight wears Kyle’s headdress, and Cash drags Darby up for a snap suplex. Cash looms over Darby, then clamps on with a COBRA CLUTCH! Darby endures, reaches out, and Dynamite returns to single picture.

The fans rally as Darby fights up and claws at Cash. Darby JAWBREAKERS free, but Kyle tags in and stomps Darby down! Kyle drags Darby up, whips him to the corner, but Darby BLASTS FTR! Then Darby slips under Kyle, but Kyle grabs a foot! Darby reaches out, but Knight & FTR all YANK Cope, Cage & Borden down! Borden ROCKS Knight in return for it, but the damage is done as Kyle stomps Darby back down. The fans boo but Kyle soaks up the heat. Kyle watches Darby go to a corner, then runs up to forearm SMASH! Kyle taunts Borden, the ref is distracted, and Callis CLAWS at Darby’s face! Kyle grabs Darby’s leg, flips him, but Darby lands safe on the apron!

Darby ROCKS Kyle, ROCKS Knight, then RAMS Kyle! Darby slingshots up and over, but Knight helps Kyle stay up! Darby stands, reaches out, but Kyle whips Darby! Darby BLASTS Knight, Kyle shoves Darby, Darby comes back, and they SMACK into each other! Both men fall while the fans rally up! Darby and Kyle stir, crawl, Dax tags in! Dax drags Darby back, Darby hops up, and Darby reaches out! Darby breaks free, hot tag to Borden! The fans fire up as Borden DECKS Dax, DECKS Cash, repeat! Then he dodges Kyle to DROPKICK! Knight goes up, but Borden DROPKICKS Knight down! The fans fire up but Dax suplexes! Borden slips free, dragon sleepers, but Dax spins through! Dax RAMS Borden into buckles, then CHOPS! Dax reels Borden in, hoists Borden to the top rope, then CHOPS again! Borden grits his teeth, Dax climbs up, but Borden fires body shots. Borden ROCKS Dax, ROCKS him again, and again, and again! The fans cheer “STEVE! STEVE! STEVE!” Dax holds on, but Borden ROCKS him again! And again! Dax falls and the fans fire up! But then Cash trips Borden up! The fans boo but Cash blows a kiss. But Chrsitain has Kyle’s arms! Kyle powers out, Cash DUMPS Christian out! Darby fires off hands on Kyle, then runs, springboards, and COFFIN- NO, Kyle catches Darby in a waistlock, then shifts to a SNAP HALF ‘N HALF! Kyle points to Borden and Dax hurries over. Cash climbs a corner, Kyle climbs a corner, and Knight climbs a corner! The fans still rally for “STEVE! STEVE! STEVE!” but Dax still hits a SUPER DUPER PLEX! That’s the Power, Cash hits a DIVING BODY PRESS for the Glory! Kyle ads a MACHO ELBOW, and Knight adds a MOTHERSHIP SPLASH!! Cover, Cope & Darby break it!! The fans are thunderous but Knight & Kyle TOSS Cope & Darby out!

Cash and Christian brawl, Darby sends Kyle into railing, but Dax rises up. Dax slaps Borden around, then stands him up. Borden cradle counters, TWO! Dax CHOPS! JABS! And LARIATS! Dax snarls but the fans boo. Dax grabs Borden’s legs, the fans boo as he steps through! Stoke loves what he sees, but Borden kicks at Dax! Borden BOOTS Dax away, the ref has to move, and Christian sneaks a CHAIR SHOT on Dax!! The fans fire up while Dax is out! Knight springboards in, but into a SPEAR!! Borden then has Dax, Darby goes up! But Kyle trips Darby, but Christian has Kyle, REVERSE DDT on the apron!

Christian then snatches Cash for a KILLSWITCH! Darby & Borden coordinate, COFFIN DEATH DROP!! Cover, Darby, Borden, Cope & Christian all win!

Callis is not happy with Stoke, Stoke is not happy in general, but surprisingly, Christian offers a hand to Darby. Darby accepts it and Christian helps Darby to his feet. But then Christian holds up both the tag title and TNT title! Darby snatches the TNT title back, and tensions are right back where they were. But will the tag titles stay where they are right now? Or will C&C lose at their own game in Chicago?

The Death Riders speak.

Jon Moxley says, “The champ, Will Ospreay, has targeted me. That’s a bold move. Unexpected, And I feel… I feel some type of way about it. It’s incredible what you’ve overcome over the past year, Will. Nobody understands like me just how hard that road has been. I’m hard on myself, I’m hard on the people around me, I’m hard on everybody. Because this is a hard job. After our time together, I hope by now you’ve learned this, but just in case you haven’t, disabuse yourself of the notion that any belt around anyone’s waist makes them the best. Cuz it don’t.

“It was an amazing thing what you did in Wembley Stadium, Will. It’s gonna inspire kids for generations, for years and years. But this was never about something you could hold in your hand or strap around your waist, it was about what you could become, what you are becoming, before our eyes! Gabe Kidd steps up and says exactly! Why do they gotta wait until the PPV? Ospreay’s gonna be in the ring tonight, they could break a leg, and his neck’s already weak. Or maybe they cut him up into little pieces and leave him in red like Santa? Pac says there’s a very clear line: United Empire and The Death Riders. Them against the world, and they are not gonna let Ospreay off the hook! The Mad Man is fired up, The Bastard is cold-blooded, but what will The Maniac choose to do in tonight’s main event?

Chris Jericho VS Nick Wayne!

Y2J didn’t appreciate The Prodigy acting like he was already on the same level at just 21 years old, but he also didn’t care for the low blow backstage. Nick then dared Jericho to show him what he still has to learn, but will he learn that lesson the hard way? Or is AEW already Wayne’s World?

The bell rings and the fans fire up behind Jericho. Jericho and Nick circle, tie up, and Nick arm-drags! Nick mockingly claps Jericho, the fans boo, but Jericho brushes it off. They reset, circle, and they tie up again. Nick arm-drags again, and he mockingly applauds again. Jericho and Nick reset again, tie up, and Jericho headlocks, spins, hammerlocks, spins Nick, and HIP TOSSES! The fans cheer and Nick says okay, okay. Nick and Jericho reset again, circle, and Nick SPITS at Jericho! The fans boo, but Nick eggs Jericho on. Jericho CHOPS Nick off his feet! Jericho CHOPS Nick to a corner, CHOPS again and again and again!

Nick sits down, Jericho backs off, and the fans fire up. Jericho stalks Nick to another corner, whips him corner to corner, but Nick reverses. Nick runs up, but into a BOOT! Jericho then hits the BULLDOG! The fans fire up as Jericho runs, but Nick stops Jericho at the ropes to THROW him down! The fans boo but Nick soaks up that heat. Nick makes sure Jericho hears the fans, then drags Jericho up. Nick throws haymakers, then runs, but Jericho spins Nick to butterfly and BACKBREAKER! The fans cheer, Nick writhes, but Jericho brings Nick up for another suplex. Jericho holds Nick up, and SLAMS Nick down at TEN!

The fans cheer, Jericho steps on Nick for a cocky cover, ONE! Nick is tougher than that, but Jericho brings him up. Nick breaks free and CLAWS the eyes! Nick then mule kicks, and he TOSSES Jericho out! Jericho is on the apron but Nick goes out to join him. The fans rally for Jericho but Nick ROCKS him! Nick eggs Jericho on, fires more shots, but Jericho SLAPS Nick! Nick ROCKS Jericho, fires more hands, then winds up, but Jericho blocks the flatliner! Jericho ELBOWS free, then fireman’s carries! Nick flails, but Jericho still hits the APRON DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Nick writhes, Jericho stands, and the fans fire up!

Jericho goes to Nick, brings him up, and whips him, only for Nick to send Jericho into the steps! Jericho hobbles, Nick uses the steps to get up, DESTROYER on the floor! Both men are down, the fans go nuts, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref checks, and Nick stands up. Nick talks trash to commentary and the fans about Jericho, then rolls into the ring. Nick mockingly claps again, letting the count rise past 5 of 10. Jericho slowly sits up while Nick lounges on the ropes, and Jericho rolls in at 9! Nick storms up and stomps Jericho down! Nick taunts Jericho, ROCKS him, then has him in the corner for a CHOP! And CHOP! Nick snapmares Jericho, drops a leg, then covers, TWO! Jericho is tougher than that but Nick clamps on with a chinlock. Jericho endures, reaches out, and rises up. Jericho fires body shots, runs the ropes, but Nick UPPERCUTS him down!

Nick taunts the fans, then takes aim from the corner. Jericho slowly sits up again and Nick talks more trash. Nick storms up, stomps Jericho down, then stomps him again. Jericho sits up, he rallies the fans, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Nick mocks Jericho, stands him up, but Jericho CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Nick kicks low, runs, but Jericho BACKDROPS Nick away! The fans fire up while Nick flounders around. Jericho runs up and he LARIATS Nick up and out! The fans fire up as Nick hurries to the apron, Jericho triangle jump DROPKICKS! The fans fire up for Jericho as he then goes up, up, and SUPER CROSSBODIES! Down goes Nick!

The fans fire up as Jericho stands back up, and he high-fives some fans. Jericho goes back to Nick, drags him up, and the fans tell Jericho, “You Still Got It!” Jericho CHOPS Nick against the apron, then sits him up. Jericho goes to the apron, fireman’s carries again, but Nick blocks that! Nick fires elbows, Jericho fires back! Nick blocks a kick, puts the leg in the ropes, and SUPERKICKS! Jericho is stuck, Nick goes up! GUILLOTINE SWANTON on the apron! The fans fire up again as Nick reaches out for Jericho. Jericho rolls in from the apron, Nick goes up again. The fans rally as Nick aims, leaps, but into a CODE BREAKER! Jericho has to crawl to the cover, TWO!

Nick survives from the delay but the fans fire up again! Jericho rises, then brings Nick up to CHOP! And CHOP! But Nick ducks one to STUNNER! Then he gets up to SLICED BREAD! Cover, TWO!! Jericho survives and the fans fire up! Nick grows frustrated, but he takes aim as Jericho rises. The fans boo, but Jericho ducks the roundhouse! Jericho trips Nick, turns him, but Nick powers out! Nick SUPERKICKS, then he runs up in the corner! Jericho stops the Monkey Flip to put Nick up top! Jericho ROCKS Nick, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top just to rain down fists! The fans count along, Jericho goes all the way to TEN, then he hits the SUPER STEINER!

The fans fire up as Nick flounders away. Jericho runs in and LARIATS! Jericho hoists Nick up top again, then climbs up. The fans cheer Jericho on as he rains down more fists! Jericho goes to TEN again, and SUPER STEINERS again! Then he takes aim from the corner, and JUDAS- NO, Nick ducks, goes up, WAYNE’S WORLD!! Cover, TWO!! Jericho survives and Nick is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” while both men are down. Jericho slowly sits up, Nick follows, and Jericho CHOPS! Nick CHOPS back! They CHOP back and forth, but then Nick JABS! Jeridcho CHOPS, Nick CHOPS, repeat as they stand!

Jericho CHOPS, CHOPS, and he grabs at the puka shell necklace! Nick breaks free, but that breaks the necklace! Nick is shocked, and then he runs up on Jericho! Jericho ducks, waistlocks, Nick switches, but Jericho victory rolls! Then a turnover, and TUCK! JERICHO WINS!

Nick tries to fix his necklace, but the damage has been done! Jericho then notices Nick is truly distraught over his necklace. Jericho has the music stop so he can talk to Nick. Nick says he broke the necklace, that’s not right! Jericho offers a hand, and Nick says why would he? Jericho still offers, but Nick turns away. The fans boo, Jericho shrugs, and Jericho goes to leave. But then Nick runs up! Nick KICKS the ropes to low blow Jericho!! The fans boo but Nick rains down fist, the necklace wrapped around his fist! The fans boo, but Nick wants to make Jericho pay! Nick grabs a chair, brings it into the ring, and he winds up! Nick SMACKS Jericho on the back!

Nick SMACKS Jericho again and the fans boo harder. Nick watches Jericho writhe, the ref wants Nick to go, but Nick stands over Jericho to taunt him. The fans taunt Nick with chants of, “Where’s Your Mom?” Nick tunes that out as he storms off, but is this far from over between him and Jericho?

BREAKING NEWS for All Out!

Sadly, Mercedes Mone is NOT medically cleared to compete on September 26th, so there will be no AEW Women’s World Champion match in Chicago. BUT Mone will be fine by the time AEW WrestleDream comes around on October 17th! Therefore, Mone will face the winner of a #1 Contender’s Match: Thekla VS Willow Nightingale!

AEW hears from Willow Nightingale and Thekla.

The Babe with the Power says, “How fitting is it that Mercedes broke my hand, put me at a disadvantage ahead of All In, and yet Mercedes herself is unable to defend the world championship at All Out?” The Toxic Spider says, “Mercedes broke her nose, Willow broke her hand, damn! Am I the Last Real B*tch alive? Then you (Willow) faked an injury, snuck in at the last second, and stole everything from me. And then you spent your whole reign saying, ‘Hi~’ to your mom, worrying about shooting confetti out your titties, and then you blew it.”

Willow says that Thekla was a great champion, but when it counted, she couldn’t beat Willow. So at All Out, Willow makes sure Thekla’s fate is exactly the same. Thekla says all the kids at home have been following a failure. Now, she is your new hero! Willow says she’s made a career out of going all out, so in Chicago, she makes damn sure everyone remembers why you never count out Willow Nightingale. A highly anticipated rematch is heading for the Windy City, but who will book their ticket for Orlando and a fight with The CEO?

Backstage interview with Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo & Francesco Akira.

Renee Paquette is with the AEW World Champion, AEW National Champion & Crown of Fire and brings up the huge trios main event against Moxley, Pac & Gabe. How is the United Empire doing? Ospreay says things are looking real good for them right now, they’ll be showing out in the main event taking it to The Death Riders. The Empire is a group Ospreay started in NJPW back in 2020, has been on top, but there have been changes. And his “little brother,” Callum Newman, is running it now, inviting people into the group, like Andrade. Which is a little awkward considering he has the contract that says, “Guaranteed world title match.”

Ospreay has said it off camera, he’ll say it on camera, whenever Andrade feels like it, they can find out which one is the better man, and Ospreay has a good idea he knows who it is, considering the world title is on his shoulder. Andrade asks Ospreay, “How you know?” Ospreay chuckles and says Andrade can let him know, and then they’ll settle this 1v1. Andrade says tranquilo. Sometime later. But tonight, they are on the same team. Akira steps in and in Italian, says they’re not here representing England, Mexico, Japan, or any of that. They’re here as the United Empire! Andrade says he needs a little translation, and Ospreay says that while he speaks perfect Italian, he cna’t keep up.

Ospreay says Akira can talk English right to camera, just like Ospreay taught him. Akira says let’s kick the SH*T outta the Death Riders! Okay, not that word! Ospreay apologizes but Andrade likes it. The Empire heads out, but will they indeed take down Moxley, Pac & Gabe? Or will a small cursing fine be the least of their problems?

The Good, The Bad & El Guapo want their rematch for the trios titles, but the same can be said for Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong. Now, Swerve Strickland & The New Level will put the titles on the line next week for the THREE HOUR super show against The Demand, but that means the winner here in Norfolk and the winner in Indianapolis will meet each other at All Out! Who books their flight for Chicago tonight?

Hangman wrenches, tags Bandido, and Bandido winds up to CLUB Kyle’s arm! Bandido fires the fans up, then he wrenches Kyle to CLUB the arm again. Moxley and Ospreay feel things out, test the waters with a few kicks, but then Moxley tags out to Gabe. The fans boo but Gabe runs up, only for Ospreay to dodge! Gabe blocks a chop to BITE the fingers! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but then Pac runs up to BLAST Andrade & Akira! Gabe puts Ospreay in the corner and UPPERCUTS!

Pac runs in and ELBOWS Ospreay! Gabe runs in and LARIATS Ospreay! Pac runs in again, but Ospreay BOOTS him away! Pac taunts Andrade & Ospreay, Gabe taunts the fans, and Pac bumps Akira off buckles. Tag to Moxley, but then Pac digs his boot into Akira’s neck while Gabe CLAWS at Akira’s face! The fans cuss out Yuta while Pac taunts Ospreay. Akira ROCKS Pac, ROCKS Gabe, repeat, then Moxley gets one, too! Akira fires off on Pac, but Pac whips him to the corner! Akira slides out and he trips Gabe up! The fans cheer, but Moxley kicks Akira low.

Moxley sends Akira into the ring, only for Akira to Tiger Feint Kick through! The fans cheer again as Akira ROCKS Pac, slingshots in, and reaches out! Pac anchors a leg! Pac reels Akira into a wheelbarrow, but Akira victory rolls to STOMP 182! The fans fire up while both men are down! Akira crawls, hot tag to Andrade! The fans fire up as El Idolo rallies on Pac with LARIAT after LARIAT! Then he ducks ‘n’ dodges to FLYING FOREARM! Andrade kips up, the fans fire up, and they chant, “Take Your Pants Off!” The pants indeed come off! Andrade is wearing all black underneath! Andrade dodges Pac to dragon sleeper, HOW YOU KNOW DDT!

Tag to Ospreay, he runs up on Pac, BOOT in the corner! Ospreay sits Pac down, Andrade runs corner to corner, CIEN KNEES! Ospreay then springboards, PIP PIP CHEERIO! Cover, TWO! The Bastard survives but Ospreay just fires the fans up again. Ospreay drags Pac up, brings him in and tucks the arms, but Pac resists the lift. Ospreay fires Kawada Kicks, then CHOPS! Ospreay eggs Pac on, but Pac SOBATS, KICKS, and SOBATS! Pac runs, but into the TIGER WALL KICK and ENZIGIRI! Ospreay runs, but Pac dodges, SNAP GERMAN! The fans rally while both men are down again. Pac crawls, hot tag to Moxley!

Moxley storms up on Ospreay, clamps onto the neck and shoulders, and Gabe wants Moxley to break Ospreay! Ospreay ROCKS Moxley, Moxley ROCKS Ospreay, repeat! They go back and forth, harder and harder, and Ospreay fires up! Ospreay fires a flurry, the fans cheer, but Moxley reverses the whip. Ospreay handsprings, but into a SLEEPER! Moxley squeezes tight but Andrade & Akira coach Moxley. Moxley grabs the arm, TAZZ PLEX! But Ospreay lands on his feet! ROUNDHOUSE! Moxley rebounds, but Ospreay slips through the lariat to lift and LIGER BOMB! Cover, but Gabe breaks it!

Gabe SMACKS Andrade, BOOTS Akira, then drags Ospreay up. Gabe whips, Ospreay reverses, and Gabe tumbles out! Ospreay takes aim as Moxley rises, but Gabe anchors a foot! Akira tags in before Ospreay is dragged out! CROSSBODY! Pac is in and he kicks Akira. Pac whips, Akira ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Pac tumbles, Gabe gets up, but Akira BOOTS him down! The fans fire up as Akira goes up and out to ASAI MOONSAULT! Down go Pac & Gabe and the fans fire up! Akira then GAMANGIRIS Moxley, slingshots in, CUTTER! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up again as Akira aims, NOVA FIRE- NO, Moxley ducks!

Gabe runs in and LARIATS Akira! Gabe headbutts the buckles to fire up, but Ospreay lifts and tucks! CHEEKY NANDOS! Pac DECKS Ospreay! Andrade BOOTS Pac! Moxley spins Andrade for a CUTTER! But Akira rolls Moxley up! TWO!! Moxley escapes in time, and he BOOTS Akira down! Moxley is fired up but the fans are conflicted. Moxley slaps and kicks Akira around, egging him on. Moxley SLAPS Akira, so Akira CHOPS Moxley! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Akira fires CHOP after CHOP and the fans fire up as Akira just fires off! The ref counts as they’re in the corner, and Akira stop. Yuta gets on the apron, Akira DROPKICKS him down!

Akira roars, runs in, but Moxley LARIATS! Moxley drags Akira up, underhooks, PARADIGM SHIFT!! Gabe keeps Ospreay from saving Akira, PILEDRIVER on the floor! Pac stops Andrade with a BOOT and POISON-RANA! PARADIGM SHIFT again!! Moxley isn’t done, he’s sending a message! DEATH RIDER DRIVER!! And then the BULLY CHOKE!!! Akira is fading fast, he TAPS! Death Dogs win!

Gabe makes Ospreay watch this while holding him in a fishhook Cobra Clutch combo! Moxley holds Akira until Akira is out cold! Moxley scares the ref off, then he just puts Akira back in the BULLY CHOKE!! The fans boo, but Moxley lets Akira go, ONLY TO PUT IT BACK ON!! Andrade slips free of Pac to STOMP Moxley! Yuta slips in, Andrade ELBOWS him! Andrade DECKS Gabe! DAY OF THE DEAD on Garcia! But now Finlay & Connors run up! The Dogs mug Andrade, then set him up for Pac’s BOOT! The fans boo more but The Death Dogs all storm around the ring. Moxley then grabs a chair! Moxley throws it into the ring!

Gabe picks up the chair, and Moxley has Gabe put the chair around Akira’s neck! The fans boo, this is what they did to Ospreay! HIDDEN BLADE on Moxley!! HIDDEN BLADE on Gabe!! The others clear out, but Pac runs into a HIDDEN BLADE!! Ospreay grabs the chair, Andrade gets back up, and the Empire runs off these Dogs! Akira has been saved, but what will be the fate of the AEW World Championship in Chicago? And what of the AEW National Championship this Saturday? Will Andrade be able to survive knowing Daniel Garcia will be bringing the Death Riders with him?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite, with a lot more for All Out being set up. The show’s already sold out of tickets just on Ospreay VS Moxley, the Women’s Tag Street Fight, and the unofficially TLC match, now it’s just icing on the cake for AEW. Great 8 Man Tag to open, as well as promos from both sides. I’m surprised Kyle & Kevin are getting along so well now, and they’ll likely have a great 2v2 with Darby & Borden to essentially name the next contenders after the Triple Threat. Very good Trios #1 Contender’s match, too, and great win for Hangman, Brody & Bandido. And naturally, we’re getting a title defense, but I would think Swerve & New Level retain, AEW loves disguising tune-up matches like this.

Chris Jericho VS Nick Wayne was very good, and the necklace coming into play was fitting for what we’ve gotten so far. Pretty sure there will be a rematch, Jericho’s feuds are always about escalating things, so I bet we get a Street Fight where there will be a bag and someone dumps out dozens of puka shell necklaces. Ciampa of course won that match, that was borderline filler, but they needed to be able to bring up Ciampa wanting the International Championship. Ciampa going after Okada tonight was the surprising part, and that was pretty good stuff. Ciampa is on a trend of forcing his opponents to return to their serious selves, even if it’s just for a match, and that might be this, too.

Really good 1v1 from Hayter VS Kross, but I should’ve known Megan would find a way to affect the outcome. But with Divine Dominion up 2-0 in the singles matches, feels like The Birds are a shoe-in to win at All Out. Very good promo from The Death Riders, and very good promo from Ospreay with Akira and Andrade. The Andrade vignette was also great, but I feel like they should’ve played that before the trio promo to add tension to things. Then that trios promo could’ve led into the main event to keep us wondering about the unity. The Six Man Tag was still great, but also pretty standard given the Death Riders used numbers to win it for them again.

Good bit of drama at the end, but obviously Akira was not getting chair guillotined. Andrade VS Garcia will be a great title match, and I would think Andrade wins, but that probably depends on the plans for his world title shot. Also, MJF said he’s gonna “cash in” his revenge when we least expect it, so what if it’s to cost Andrade his National title and not the world title?
