Joe Hendry VS Dominik Mysterio w/ The Judgment Day!

Say his name and he appears, especially to help those being bullied by the likes of Judgment Day! Will Hendry clean up Dirty Dom’s act? Or will the AAA Mega Champion continue to build momentum towards TripleMania?

The bell rings and Dom runs up to DROPKICK Hendry! The fans are torn as Dom fires off on Hendry in the ropes! the ref counts, Dom backs off, and the fans boo. Dom drags Hendry up to DECK him, then fires hands in the corner. Dom whips corner to corner, but Hendry comes back to LARIAT! Hendry whips Dom to the corner, LARIATS, then CHOPS! Hendry stomps a mudhole in, then storms around as the fans fire up. Hendry drags Dom up, TOSSES him across the ring, and Judgment Day is very upset. The fans rally as Hendry reels Dom in, suplexes, and holds him up. The fans count and Hendry marches around, then he SLAMS Dom down at TWENTY!

The fans fire up for Hendry while Judgment Day freaks out! Dom flounders, Hendry runs up, and Hendry LARIATS Dom up and out! Liv Morgan hurries to check on her Daddy Dom, then she steps in Hendry’s way! The ref reprimands Judgment Day, Liv says Hendry is a loser, but Hendry UPPERCUTS JD McDonagh! Judgment Day protests but Hendry steps into the ring. Dom KICKS the ropes to jam Hendry up! Dom DROPKICKS Hendry, then DIVES! Direct hit into the desk! The fans boo but Judgment Day cheers as Dom rises up. Liv flexes on Dom’s behalf, then Dom SMACKS Hendry off the desk! And again!

Dom throws Hendry into the steel steps! Dom leaves Hendry behind to go to the ring, and he argues with the ref, letting JD get a shot in! The fans boo but The Irish Ace gets away with it. Dom puts Hendry in the ring, knocks him down, and rains down fists! Dom drags Hendry around, then stomps Hendry down! The fans chant “You Still Suck!” at Dom as he slingshot SENTONS! Cover, TWO! Hendry survives, Dom is annoyed, but Judgment Day cheers Dom on. Dom pushes Hendry down, clamps onto a chinlock, then he rains down elbows into Hendry’s chest again and again! Dom stomps Hendry, then snarls as he drags Hendry up.

The fans rally for Hendry and Hendry fires shots on Dom! The fans fire up as Hendry whips, but Dom ducks ‘n’ dodges! Hendry ELBOWS Dom down! And then dodges to scoop for the FALL AWAY SLAM! Hendry kips up, and… TURNS! The fans cheer the pose, and Hendry then DISCUS- NO, Dom dodges to NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Hendry survives and Judgment Day is frustrated. Dom drags Hendry up, brings him around, and reels him in for a TORNADO- NO, Hendry blocks the DDT! Hendry makes it a BRAINBUSTER! Then the SMASH HIT DISCUS LARIAT! Cover, TWO!! Dom survives and Hendry is frustrated.

Judgment Day doesn’t like the ref’s count, that felt fast to them. But Hendry gets us on beat with stomp stomp clap. Liv gets on the apron, JD sneaks in, but Hendry BOOTS JD down! Hendry blocks Dom’s kick, too, but Dom ENZIGIRIS! Dom dials it up, 619! Hendry is down, Dom goes up, FROG SPLASH! Cover, Dom wins!

Well, it’s easy to win when it’s 5v1. Liv celebrates with her Mega Campeon, but Dom’s not done! Dom gets a mic to give it to Liv, and Liv smiles as she says, “Atlanta! Make some noise for the greatest Mysterio of ALLLLLL TIIIME~!” The fans boo, does that count? Liv says what Dom did to Hendry is what Liv will do to her opponent tomorrow. Do you know who that is? Here’s a hint: She’s not as pretty as Liv; she’s not as iconic as Liv; and she is nowhere near as talented as Liv! Do you know who that is? It really could be anyone. But it is Stephanie Vaquer. The fans cheer Stephanie’s name, and Liv says they like her, huh?!

Well, if she was them, she’d tune in tomorrow, because tomorrow, Liv defeats Stephanie Vaquer AGAIN! She’ll retain the Women’s World Championship AGAIN! And she will prove that she is the Greatest Women’s World Champion of ALLLLLLLLLLL~ TIIIIME~! Liv is confident as she’s ever been, but will that pride come before the fall on a Monday Night Raw?

And he’s got a shopping cart full of $100 bills! Quavo performs his hit song, Backwards, pyro in the backdrop, and he welcomes us to Sunday Night’s Main Event in the ATL! More pyro, and then we see Lil Yachty & Trick Williams pull up in the parking lot! If Yachty can survive five with “the most boring man alive,” Trick gets his shot at the United States Championship! Yachty leads his posse to the ring, will he win this one for Trick Willy? Or will Baron Corbin #CauseThePain?

Five Minute Challenge: Lil’ Yachty w/ Trick Williams VS Baron Corbin!

Corbin steps into the ring and gets a mic. Corbin tells Yachty that he’ll tell him this right now: This is Yachty’s last chance to back out. Don’t listen to the people. Corbin gets it, this is Yachty’s hometown, so there’s friends and family watching. But Yachty doesn’t wanna let them down, he doesn’t wanna let Trick down, and he doesn’t wanna get blood on these nice new clothes. Why doesn’t Yachty just pack up and take a hike? Yachty takes the mic to say, “Listen, Baron. I…” BOP! The bell rings and we’re on the clock. The fans cheer as Yachty covers, TWO! Yachty then bails out, and the cat ‘n’ mouse game is on!

Corbin snarls as he catches up and grabs a leg! Corbin YANKS Yachty out, then drags Yachty up to THROW him into the barriers! Yachty’s posse cheers him on, as does the rest of Atlanta, but Corbin fires hands! There are apparently no count outs nor disqualifications, there has to be a decision, win, lose or draw! Corbin THROWS Yachty into barriers, then he clears off the desk! We’re only a minute in but Corbin is escalating things. The entourage tries to save Yachty but Corbin CLOBBERS them all! Corbin TOSSES one guy, then TOSSES another! Corbin hurries to get Yachty up and THROWS him over the barriers! Corbin snarls as he stalks Yachty.

Yachty crawls under the ring, Corbin yanks him out, and Yachty has the “Trick Stick!” Yachty SMACKS Corbin with it! The fans cheer as we’re two minutes deep! Yachty is all fired up, and Corbin goes to the ring. Yachty chases Corbin down and SMACKS him! The fans fire up for Yachty as he winds up again, but Corbin CLOBBERS him first! The fans boo but the entourage tries to help again. Corbin whips one for a DEEP SIX! Then he reels the other one in, END OF DAYS! The fans boo but Corbin runs up on Yachty. Yachty BOOTS back! Yachty goes up, up, and leaps, FLYING RANA! The fans fire up for Yachty as he goes back up!

Yachty aims at the two minute warning, CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Corbin is still in this, but so is Yachty! The fans fire up as Yachty runs, but into END OF DAYS!! The fans boo, but Corbin smirks. Corbin wants to make Yachty suffer, and he rains down fists! Corbin HAMMERS away, because he’s still got a minute to spare! Corbin drags Yachty up, END OF DAYS!! But Corbin still doesn’t cover, because he promised to make Yachty suffer! Corbin goes looking under the ring, and he brings out a TABLE! The fans are torn, they like tables but can’t stand Corbin. Corbin brings the table into the ring, sets it up, and fetches Yachty.

There’s 30 seconds left, and Corbin puts Yachty up top. Corbin climbs, but Yachty resists the superplex! The fans rally as Yachty trips Corbin up! Corbin lands on his Lone Wolf! The time runs out, Yachty wins the challenge!

Time Limit Draw; Yachty earns Trick Williams a United States Championship match

But Corbin no longer cares about the challenge! CHOKE SLAM down through the table! The fans boo, but in the end, Trick still gets his title shot! And he wants it NOW! Will Trick avenge Yachty and honor his sacrifice?

Trick rushes the ring, the bell rings, and Trick dodges to LEG LARIAT! LEG LARIAT! And then he LARIATS Corbin up and out of the ring! The fans fire up for Trick as he hurries to out after Corbin and SMACKS him off the desk! And again! And again! The fans chant, “Whoop Dat Trick!” as Trick refreshes the ring count. Trick checks on Yachty, Yachty and the entourage cheer Trick on, but Corbin UPPERCUTS Trick! Corbin POSTS Trick, then he drags Yachty up! Corbin THROWS Yachty into the timekeeper’s area! The fans boo but Trick AX HANDLES Corbin down! Trick puts Corbin in the ring, then runs to LARIAT!

The fans fire up with Trick and he brings Corbin up. Trick whips Corbin to FLAPJACK! Trick kips up, the fans fire up, and Trick sees Corbin in the corner. Trick says he gonna smack dat, and he powers up the hand! TRICK SLAP! Down goes Corbin and the fans fire up! Trick stomps away, “WHOOP! DAT! TRICK!” Trick drags Corbin up, fireman’s carry, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Corbin survives, but Trick runs corner to corner. Corbin puts Trick on the apron, then runs to BLAST Trick to the desk! The fans boo, but Corbin rolls out to fetch Trick. The fans chant, “Corbin Sucks!” and that upsets him.

Corbin drags Trick up, brings him over, and THROWS him into steel steps! Trick writhes, clutches his arm, and Corbin refreshes the ring count. Corbin brings Trick up and around to send into the other steel steps! The fans boo but Corbin just soaks up the heat. Corbin drags Trick up, puts him in the ring, but the fans chant, “BUM ASS CORBIN!” Now that’s a callback. Corbin whips Trick, ELBOWS him down, then covers, ONE!! Trick toughs it out, but Corbin ELBOWS Trick down! Corbin HAMMERS away on Trick, elbow after elbow, then he smirks as the fans boo. Corbin clamps on a chinbar half nelson combo but Trick endures.

The fans rally as Trick fights up, and Trick fires elbows. Trick runs, but Corbin LARIATS him down! The fans boo again but Corbin shakes out his own arm. Corbin looms over Trick, tells him that he wanted this and he’s got it, so get up! Corbin brings Trick around, back suplexes for the SIDE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Trick survives and the fans fire up! Corbin huffs ‘n’ puffs, then clamps onto Trick with another chinbar half nelson combo. Corbin THRASHES Trick around but the fans continue to rally. Trick endures, fights around, even with blood in his mouth. Trick fights up, fires body shots, then runs! Trick ducks ‘n’ dodges, DOUBLE LARIATS take both men down!

The fans rally as the ref checks. Trick and Corbin are able to continue, and they manage to sit up. The fans rally for Trick, and he throws a shot first! Corbin fires back, but Trick fires another shot! Corbin fires a forearm, Trick wobbles, but Trick ROCKS Corbin in return! Corbin returns to ROCK Trick! Trick ROCKS Corbin! The fans cheer Trick and boo Corbin as the shots keep going. Corbin fires a flurry, but Trick dodges the haymaker to JUMP NECKBREAKER! The fans fire up as Trick spins, but into a guzel! CHOKE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Corbin is frustrated, but he scoops Trick, only for Trick to slip free!

Trick shoves Corbin, catches him in a clinch, BOOKEND! The fans fire up as Trick lets his hair down! Trick shakes them dreads, runs up, but Corbin dodges to DEEP SIX! Cover, TWO!! Trick survives and Corbin is beside himself! The fans rally up while Trick goes to a corner. Corbin runs up, Trick dodges, and Trick BULLDOGS! The fans fire up again, Georgia loves its bulldogs! But then Corbin POSTS Trick! Trick staggers back, falls over, and Corbin bails out. The fans rally for Trick but Corbin crawls his way towards the title podium. Corbin grabs the belt, but the ref sees that! The ref says no, but then Yachty grabs the other end!

The fans cheer the tug-o-war, but Corbin drags Yachty into the ring! TRICK KICK!! Cover, TWO!! Corbin survives the cyclone and the fans can’t believe it! Trick is beside himself, too! The ref tells Yachty he has to go, but Corbin has the belt again! Yachty pleads with the ref, Corbin BELT SHOTS Trick!! Corbin calls to the ref, the ref counts, TWO?!?! Trick survives and Corbin is furious! Corbin argues with the ref but the ref defends his count. Corbin whips Trick, reels him in, but Trick slips through! Trick dodges, runs, TRICK SHOT!! Cover, TRICK WINS!!

Winner: Trick Williams, by pinfall (NEW WWE United States Champion)

Yachty got him this opportunity, and Trick seized the opportunity to once again be US Champion! And thankfully before it was shaved bald! And now that he’s whooped Corbin, the celebration can begin! But what will be next for Trick Yachty Gang now that they’re golden again?

Paul Heyman is in the ring.

Sunday Night’s Main Event returns, and The Wise Man says, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. This next match will determine who is the ‘Future of WWE.’ Introducing first, weighing 250 pounds, the hardest-hitting athlete in WWE, the All American from Kennesaw State University… BRRRON! BRRREAKKER!” The Unpredictable Badass makes his entrance, and he shakes hands with Heyman. Bron says go ahead, and Heyman continues with, “Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Breakker’s opponent is The Bringer of War. Weighing 302 pounds, The Ruler, OBA… FEMIII…!” And with that, The 2026 King of the Ring makes his entrance!

This one has been brewing for a long time and is about to hit the boiling point! But who will be standing when the smoke clears? Who IS the Future of the WWE?

Oba Femi VS Bron Breakker!

The bell rings and the fans fire up as the two stare down. Oba and Bron circle, tie up, and are in a deadlock. Oba’s height is his leverage as he SHOVES Bron away! The fans cheer, but Bron storms back up to shove Oba. Oba shoves Bron, they tie up again, and they’re in another deadlock. Bron digs his heels in, and he SHOVES Oba this time! Bron barks, the fans bark with him, but Oba storms back up. Bron slips around, headlocks, but Oba powers up and lifts Bron! Oba then powers out, RAMS shoulders with Bron, and Oba does not budge! The fans fire up as Oba runs to RAM Bron! Bron stays up and the fans fire up again.

Bron runs, dodges Oba, dodges again, but then Oba RUNS Bron over! The fans fire up with Oba, and he runs corner to corner! But Bron bails out! The fans boo but Bron huffs ‘n’ puffs as he shakes out his left arm. Oba doesn’t wait, he goes out and CLUBS Bron! The fans rally as Oba ROCKS Bron, stalks him around the way, and scoops. Oba aims, and he hits SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans cheer while Bron falls. The ring count climbs, Oba pushes Bron along, and Oba SMACKS Bron off the apron. Oba pushes Bron into the ring, but then drags him out! Oba scoops, aims, but Bron slips free to POST him!

Oba slumps down, shakes out the stars, and Bron is on the apron. Bron runs up, but Oba CHOPS him down! The fans fire up for Oba while Bron sputters! Oba chases Bron back into the ring, then runs up to LARIAT Bron and himself up and out! Oba lands on his feet! The fans fire up as Oba makes the pecs dance! Oba clears the desk, here we go again! Oba hydrates real quick, but Bron kicks him low! Bron SMACKS Oba off the desk, and again, and again! Bron box jumps to the apron, and he leaps for the FLYING LARIAT down onto the desk! Bron barks, the fans bark with him, but the ring count starts again.

Bron hops down to fetch Oba, dumps him back over the desk, then stalks him. Bron kicks Oba, puts him in the ring, then builds speed! Bron reaches that 23 miles per hour to LARIAT! The fans duel but Bron hauls Oba up. Bron puts Oba on the ropes, CHOKES him, but stops as the ref counts 4. Oba sputters but the fans rally up behind him. Bron RAMS Oba into the corner, RAMS him again and again, but the ref counts. Bron stops at 4, then whips corner to corner. But Oba reverses, runs up, and UPPERCUTS! Oba keeps moving, but Bron LARIATS! Bron fireman’s carries Oba! GUT BUSTER DROP! Cover, TWO!

The fans cheer as Oba survives, but Bron keeps cool. Bron clamps onto Oba with a chinlock and grinds him down. Oba endures, even as Bron thrashes him around. Bron clamps on body scissors, too, but the fans continue to rally. Oba endures, Bron shifts his grip to a COBRA CLUTCH, but Oba pries it open! Oba rises up, Bron waistlocks, but Oba fires elbows. Bron staggers away, but he slips around to GERMAN SUPLEX! Cover, TWO! Oba is tougher than that, given how many German Suplexes he took from Brock Lesnar. Bron smirks as he stalks Oba, and he talks trash. “Future of what? Huh?”

Bron pushes Oba around, eggs him on, but Oba stands up to clamp on a guzel! But Bron kicks legs out! Oba hobbles, Bron stomps him at the ropes, then runs up to LARIAT! Oba goes up and out, staggers to the desk, and Bron goes out after him. Bron RAMS Oba into the apron! Bron pushes Oba into the ring, but the fans continue to rally for “O~BA! HOOT!” Bron soaks it all in, then drags Oba into a chinlock. Oba endures, even as Bron leans on the hold. Oba fights up, the fans cheer, but Bron KNEES low! Bron hops on as a backpack with a SLEEPER, but Oba RAMS him into buckles! Oba is free, but Bron runs up! Oba counter punches!

Oba ROCKS Bron, Bron ROCKS Oba, repeat! They go back and forth, Bron KNEES low, then Bron runs, into an UPPERCUT! Oba runs, but into a JUMP KNEE! Bron waistlocks to GERMAN SUPLEX! Oba’s right up to LARIAT! The fans fire up while Bron flounders! Oba LARIATS again! And LARIATS again! Bron goes to a corner, Oba whips corner to corner, then Bron bounces off buckles. Oba scoops, SNAKE EYES off buckles! The fans fire up as Oba has a wild look in his eyes! Oba runs up, UPPERCUTS, then keeps going! UPPERCUT! And UPPERCUT! Oba just keeps moving, UPPERCUT! Down goes Bron!

The fans fire up for Oba as he watches Bron stagger. Oba guzels, and CHOKE SLAMS Bron down! Cover, TWO! Bron survives but Oba stays cool. Oba waits on Bron to stand up, then hoists him up, but Bron CLAWS Oba’s face! Bron CLUBS Oba outta the ring! Oba staggers, Bron grins, and Bron slides out to build up speed! Bron- GETS CLOBBERED!! The fans are thunderous for Oba! But here comes Austin Theory! Oba catches him, SHOTPUT down through the desk! The fans fire up, but Bron SPEARS Oba! Bron puts Oba in the ring, builds speed again, BREAKKER SPEAR!! Cover, TWO!?!? Oba survives and shocks everyone!

Bron goes to a corner, completely at a loss, but here comes Logan Paul! Logan would have to make an actual entrance. But the ref already intercepts Logan, and EJECTS him! The Maverick is furious, he didn’t even do anything yet! But the brass knuckles are right in his hand! Logan says the ref’s gonna be fired! But then Maxxine Dupri has her own brass knuckles! It was all a ploy! Bron grins as he sneaks the knuckle duster onto his fist, but Oba ducks the cheap shot! SHOTPUT!! The fans fire up with Oba, but then BRONSON REED ATTACKS!!

Winner: Oba Femi, by disqualification

The fans are going nuts but the Auszilla SMACKS Oba away with a chair! And SMACKS him again! And again! And again!! The Vision has its biggest hitter back, and Reed goes up! TSUNAMI!! The fans are going nuts, and Bronson helps Bron stand up. They hug it out, and then Bronson gets Oba up! Bron builds speed, 23 miles per hour BREAKKER SPEAR!! But The Vision isn’t done! Bronson goes up, TSUNAMI!! But two is not enough, TSUNAMI NUMBER THREE!! The fans boo but then Bronson drags Oba back to his feet! Bron builds speed again, BREAKKER SPEAR!! Adam Pearce is out here, but he can’t get them to stop!

Bronson is up again, A FOURTH TSUNAMI!!! Refs, producers, and Pearce all shout at The Vision, but Bronson raises Bron’s hand as if to declare Bron is the winner. But it took the entire Vision to put The Ruler down, is their future doomed?

Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley VS The Baddies!

The Queen & Lil’ Miss Bliss have been a dynamic though dysfunctional duo, but that’s the thing, they’re a duo. To take on Jade Cargill, Mia Yim & B-Fab, they needed a third, and the loveable oddball of NXT was more than willing to join in! Will #CAT be bad luck for The Baddies? Or will The Storm was them all away in Atlanta?

The trios sort out, and since Tatum asks nicely, Charlotte lets her start against B-Fab. The bell rings, the fans rally for Tatum as she and Fab tie up. They’re in a deadlock, but Fab pushes Tatum back and pie faces her! Fab talks trash, but then Tatum goes Matrix, dodges a stomp, and waistlocks. Fab bucks the O’Conner, dodges Tatum, but Tatum CHOPS! And kicks! And ROLLING AX KICKS! Cover, TWO! Tatum brings Fab up, facelocks, but Fab wrenches out to DECK Tatum! Tag to Michin, they stand Tatum up, but Tatum fights back with elbows and kicks! Tatum ARM WRINGER ENZIGIRI COMBOS! Jade storms in, but Tatum DROPKICKS her out!

Tatum builds speed but Mia puts her on the apron! Tatum ducks a shot, ROCKS Mia, then BLASTS Fab! Mia runs up but Tatum hops down! Then Tatum STEP-UP ENZIGIRIS! Mia staggers, but she distracts the ref so Jade can YANK Tatum down! Then Jade pop-up KNEES Tatum! The fans boo but Jade puts Tatum in the ring, Mia rains down fists, then covers, TWO! The fans rally for Tatum but Mia drags her over, tag to Fab. The fans rally but The Baddies DOUBLE SUPLEX! Tatum flounders away, Fab runs up on Tatum, but Tatum dodges! Hot tag to Bliss! The fans fire up as Alexa RAMS Fab, RAMS her again, then wrenches to KICK, SLAP, ROCK, KNEE, and SHOTGUN!

The fans fire up with Alexa, she runs, BLOCKBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Fab toughs it out but Bliss drags her up. Alexa whips, Fab reverses, but Alexa BOOTS Fab away! The ref reprimands, but Fan KNEES Alexa low, KNEES her again, and again! Fab ROCKS Alexa, then soaks up heat. Fab sucker punches Tatum, Charlotte avoids a shot, and Bliss runs up! Fab stops Bliss from reaching Alexa, then slips around for a waistlock. Alexa reaches out for Charlotte but Fab pulls hair to pull her back! Fab scoops but Bliss RANAS free! Fab hits buckles, she and Bliss both crawl! Hot tags to Mia and Charlotte! Charlotte goes up, and she CROSSBODIES Mia!

The fans fire up as Charlotte then BOOTS Jade down! Charlotte CHOPS away on Mia, the fans “WOO~” each time. Mia dodges one, but then Charlotte clinches, BACKBREAKER to BUCKLE SHOT! Then a GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up with Charlotte as she kips up! Charlotte struts, the fans cheer, and Charlotte runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then HANDSPRING LARIATS! The fans fire up while Mia flounders to a corner. Charlotte runs up, Mia BOOTS her, then Mia goes up to RAN- NO! Charlotte stops that, hoists Mia back up, but Mia BOOTS again! Mia aims, but Charlotte rolls to hit some STRATUSFACTION! Cover, TWO!

Mia bails out but Charlotte nods. The fans rally as Charlotte storms up, but Mia HOTSHOTS! But Charlotte KNEES Mia down! Charlotte waistlocks, Mia throws elbows, then they go to ropes. Jade tags in before the O’Conner Roll! SUPERKICK! Jade then BLASTS Bliss, and she hoists Charlotte up in the torture rack! TOWER HACKER BOMB! Cover, TATUM BREAKS IT! The fans fire up as Tatum saves Charlotte from “The Sandstorm,” but Fab TACKLES Tatum! Those two scrap and fall out of the ring! Jade drags Charlotte up, chicken wings her, but Charlotte turns it into a victory roll! TWO, and both women hurry to their feet!

Charlotte KICKS a leg, Jade fires a shot, but Charlotte BOOTS Jade down! Mia runs up, but Charlotte scoops her! FALL AWAY SLAM! Mia lands next to Jade, and Charlotte nods. The fans fire up as Charlotte calls her shot. Charlotte steps on Mia and Jade, then goes up the corner! MOONSAULT for them both! Cover, TWO!! Jade survives but Bliss joins in! Cody Rhodes VS Randy Orton!

The American Nightmare already beat The Legend Killer earlier this year at WrestleMania, but that didn’t sit well with those voices in Randy Orton’s head. Orton made sure Cody lost the Undisputed Championship, and now he wants to take it all! Will “The Worst” Randy Orton have the best night? Or will Cody prove he’s not such a good guy either?

But then wait! Cody’s Spider Senses go off, and he turns around to see The Viper slithering in! Orton stops cold, and he slowly backs away. Cody rushes out after him! Cody BODY SHOTS Orton, SMAKCS him off the apron, then throws hands! Cody fires hands, but Orton kicks low! Orton goes for the desk! Cody blocks, and he SMACKS Orton off the desk! Cody throws hands, then DUMPS him over the barriers! The fans fire up as Cody stands on the barriers, right in front of the Rhodes family! Cody AX HANDLES Orton, then stalks him deeper into the crowd! Cody and Orton trade shots, but then Cody gets a trash can!

Cody SMACKS Orton with the can! And he SMACKS Orton again! Orton falls over, but Cody drags him up for more haymakers! The fans fire up as they’re even closer to the action now as Cody CLUBS Orton on the back. Orton pokes Cody in the eye! Orton UPPERCUTS Cody, then grabs a trash can of his own! Orton SMACKS Cody with it, then SMASHES the can on Cody’s back! Orton UPPERCUTS, then stalks Cody. The fans duel, and Cody SMACKS Orton! Cody and Orton fire hands again, going back and forth! Cody BODY BLOWS Orton, then SMACKS him off barriers! Cody ROCKS Orton, the fans cheer, and Cody brings Orton back towards ringside.

Cody headlocks for a punch, then he whips Orton. Orton reverses to TOSS Cody over the barriers! Orton stalks after Cody, but Cody kicks low! Cody whips Orton, but Orton reverses again, and Cody hits steel steps! Cody goes down in a heap, and Orton snarls as he rises up. The fans duel even harder, but Orton puts Cody in the ring. Cody then spots Brandi and Mama Rhodes… Orton smirks as Brandi dares Orton to do something. Orton goes back to the ring, the bell finally rings, and Cody dodges Orton! Springboard and CODY CUTTER! The fans fire up with Cody, and he waits on Orton! Cody trips Orton, steps through, and has the FIGURE FOUR!

The fans “WOO~” as Orton endures the hold! Cody CLAWS Orton’s face, pushes on the hold, and Orton falls to his shoulders. That’s a cover, TWO! Orton still endures, then fights his way over to the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Orton says, “Get him off me!” Cody lets go at 4, and Orton slowly rolls to the apron. Cody has a sinister grin now as he drags Orton up. Cody has Orton in the ropes! Cody drags Orton further in, but Orton fights free to HOTSHOT Cody! Orton denies Cody stealing Orton’s DDT, and Orton hurries back into the ring. Orton CHOKES Cody on the ropes, but he stops as the ref counts 4.

Cody sputters, Orton strikes his pose, and the fans are torn. Orton then positions Cody just right, and CATAPULT GUILLOTINES with the ropes! Cody coughs and sputters to the apron, but Orton steps through to stomp Cody! The ref reprimands but Orton stands on Cody’s head! Orton steps off as the ref counts 4, and Cody staggers back to his feet. Orton storms up on Cody, but Cody fires body shots! Cody fires haymakers, then runs the ropes, but runs into an ELBOW! Orton looms over Cody, stomps fingers, then he drags Cody up. Orton hangs Cody out to dry on the ropes, then HIP TOSSES him back in!

Cody flounders but Orton stalks him. Orton stomps fingers again, then clamps on a chinlock. The fans rally as Cody endures and fights up. Cody fires body shots, but Orton CLUBS him, then back suplexes. Cody lands out, kicks low, and RHODES UPPERCUTS! Orton staggers to ropes, but Cody runs up to LARIAT him up and out! Orton staggers, clutches his arm, but Cody hurries out after him. Cody hobbles over, but Orton pokes Cody in the eyes! Orton keeps Cody from getting away, and he SMACKS Cody off the desk! Orton reels Cody in, but Cody fires headlock punches! Cody puts Orton in the ring, then runs up, but into a kick!

Orton UPPERCUTS Cody, climbs up in the corner, and he winds up, but only gets one punch before Cody trips him up! Cody then climbs up, and he rains down fists! The fans count along, and Cody goes to nine, winds up, and TEN! Orton flounders out of the ring and Cody pursues again. But Orton kicks low again! And now DESK BACK SUPLEX! Orton hits another DESK BACK SUPLEX, and Cody staggers around. Orton brings Cody around, puts him in the ring, but then Orton gets an idea. Orton rolls back outside, and he slowly makes his way over to the Rhodes family. Brandi asks if Orton has something to say.

Orton says he already said what he wanted, “Trashy!” Brandi throws her drink in Orton’s face! The fans fire up as Orton coughs and sputters! Orton is furious, he goes back into the ring, but Cody throws hands! Cody runs, RUNS Orton over, then dodges him in the corner! Orton runs into the SNAP POWERSLAM! The fans fire up as Cody uses the very move Orton taught him! Brandi and family cheer as Cody sets up, springboards, and DISASTER KICKS! Orton staggers, Cody JABS, JABS, JABS, then flips, flops, and flies! BIONIC ELBOW! Orton staggers, Cody roars, and Cody dragon sleepers! But Orton SMACKS Cody!

Orton whips but Cody reverses. Orton hits off buckles and comes right back to LARIAT! And LARIAT! Then he dodges to SNAP POWERSLAM! The fans are torn but Orton waits on Cody. Cody rises, but Orton puts him through ropes! Orton drags Cody through again, DRAPING DDT! The fans rally as Cody sputters, and Orton soaks up the cheers and jeers. Orton eggs Atlanta on, they get louder, and Orton grins as he hears the voices in his head! Orton waits on Cody, Cody slowly stands, R- NO! Cody stops the RKO to hit CROSS RHODES! Cover, TWO!! Orton survives and Cody scowls, but the fans still rally up.

“This is Awesome!” as Cody rises, and he looms over Orton. Cody springboards, but Orton catches him! Orton spins Cody, RK- NO, Cody stops it again to backslide Orton! TWO, RK- NO, Cody shoves Orton at the ref! Orton stops short, then Orton dodges, Cody runs into the ref! Then R K O!! But there’s no ref to count a cover! Orton is annoyed by that, but then he remembers that means no ref to maintain order. Orton looms over Cody again, then takes aim from a corner! The fans are going nuts as Orton runs up, but Cody dodges the punt! Then he dragon sleepers, CROSS RHODES! Orton flounders out of the ring!

The fans rally even harder as Cody slowly rises up. Cody builds speed, and Cody DIVES! But Orton is sent into the ref! The fans cheer as Cody hurries to get Orton up, and he POSTS Orton! Cody stalks Orton as Orton staggers around, and Cody POSTS Orton again! Cody keeps Orton on his feet, just to POST him again! Orton staggers around, leans against the desk, but Cody rains down fists! Cody tells Orton to show him the worst side of him! Cody HAMMERS away on Orton, the fans duel, and Cody CLAWS at Orton’s face! Cody grabs steel steps, pulls them apart, and the fans fire up as Cody RAMS Orton with them!

Orton falls, Cody seems a bit conflicted, but then he sees an opening. Orton stands, blood dripping from the side of his head. Cody fires hands, ROCKS Orton, and Orton staggers around. Cody CLAWS at the bloody wound, then ROCKS Orton again! Orton staggers, Cody puts him in the ring, then stalks him. Orton sputters, blood pouring out, but Cody runs corner to corner! Up, up, and SUPER CODY CUTTER! Orton is down but the fans fire up! Cody dares Orton to get back up. Orton sputters, but Orton still rises. Orton tries to shake it off, but Cody dragon sleepers! CROSS RHODES! But Cody holds on! Cody drags Orton up again, CROSS RHODES!!

Cody still holds onto Orton, even as that crimson mask grows. Cody SHOVES Orton down, and he watches Orton feebly push himself up off the mat. The fans duel as Cody looms over Orton. Cody thinks about it, and he decides to take aim! Cody runs up, but Orton begs for mercy! And Cody stops!? The fans boo, Cody still wants after Orton but Orton pleads with Cody not to do this. Orton apologizes, almost grovels at Cody’s feet, saying Cody got him. Cody shoves Orton down, not trusting this. Cody looks around, the fans are telling him conflicting things, and a new ref hurries out here to check on Orton.

The ref wants Cody to hold on, but Cody says if Orton can continue, then let him after Orton. But then Orton DOUBLE LOW BLOWS!! He manages to get Cody AND the ref at the same time! Orton is a bit surprised by that, but he’ll take it! Orton brings Cody around as the first ref is back, R K O!! Cover, Orton wins!

Winner: Randy Orton, by pinfall

The Viper was certainly a snake tonight, using a plea for mercy as a stalling tactic. But that makes Cody and Orton 1-1 on the year. What happens if these two go for a tiebreaker?

My Thoughts:

A very good Sunday Night’s Main Event, and they kinda surprised me with the countdown show. Poor Joe Hendry, taking another loss, but Dom needed a win for momentum, and Liv got to give a go-home promo before her match with Vaquer. Really good stuff from Quavo to segue into Trick Yachty Gang rolling up. A little last minute for them to say there were no count outs or disqualifications, “there must be a decision,” but I guess that was the only believable way for Yachty to survive five minutes. Trick getting his shot right away, clearly he was going to win it, and that’s great for him. No idea who is next, but maybe it’s Melo? There’s still so much to mine with the Trick Melo story, they should go for it.

Great introductions from Heyman for Oba VS Bron, but of course The Vision got involved. Bronson Reed making his return tonight was great, and helping Bron beat Oba down was a pretty good way to return. The “Future of WWE” title is still undecided, but I wonder if Bronson somehow usurps the lead role in The Vision from Bron. Either The Vision starts being a serious threat again or they break up, not sure which could work better. But Oba will clearly want revenge, he will probably destroy Theory before he has an epic with Bronson and a full match with Bron. Then it depends on where the world title goes, because anyone can go after Roman, but if a Face gets the title, The Vision gets dibs.

Very good Six Woman Tag, and I’m a bit surprised The Baddies won. I’m sure it’ll help Charlotte, Alexa & Tatum grow closer together, and there’s still the fact that Charlotte & Tatum beat Fatal Influence 2v2. The tag titles and who goes after them can play a big part in the story, but it feels like there needs to be one more Charlotte VS Jade 1v1 to punctuate this story. And then great main event from Cody VS Orton, with the brawling before the bell even rang, and then Brandi’s involvement and Randy bleeding from the side of his head. Really impressive double low blow, that was just Randy’s one arm reaching both Cody and the second ref. And Orton winning to tie things up, round three is going to be awesome stuff.
