Speculation On The Future Of Bray Wyatt

It appears that Bray Wyatt may be getting repackaged when he returns to WWE Television. He falling into the Lake Of Reincarnation seems to point in that direction, that he will be getting some sort of character change. It’s unknown at this time if he will become a part of the Woken universe, or if this leads to a face turn even.

Dave Meltzer commented on the topic on Wrestling Observer Radio:

“So, I guess he’s going to come back different. I think it’s been maybe a year of needing repackaging. I don’t know what he’ll do but hopefully, it’s something completely different because that other character ran it’s course a long time ago.”

My Thoughts:

While I would hate the Bray Wyatt character going away completely, a change would be nice. Maybe even going back to the backwoods cult leader instead of a supernatural god. I do believe a change in some form is needed. He is liked by enough people that maybe a face turn and joining the Woken Universe is what he needs.
