SmackDown Women’s Title Triple Threat Match: Carmella (c) vs Charlotte vs Becky Lynch

Charlotte gets, what Charlotte wants. A story of the pretty girl (Carmella), the rich girl (Charlotte) and the girl who has to work harder than everyone else (Becky). This may have been a Disney movie in the early 00s, it seems really familiar. The main attraction to this match isn’t if it will be good, it’s if a levee will break and Becky or Charlotte will turn heel. I’m not expecting much from this match in the ring, but the story it tells could be worth the time investment.

United States Championship Match: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs Jeff Hardy

This one makes the least amount of sense. Sure Orton screwed Hardy in the rematch, so it can be argued this is to make up for the sullied ending on SmackDown. But Orton and Hardy have been so entwined, this seems to make little sense. Orton interfering is a very obvious assumption, but Orton and Shinsuke had a small alliance a few months ago, so this may be the beginning of a brutal team. Yet, Orton could just be doing his usual thing of laying in wait, and he’ll attack everyone like a good little Viper.
