ALL IN Results: ROH World Championship Match

The ROH World Championship was defended in the next match at ALL IN, as Jay Lethal entered in full Black Machismo mode and accompanied by “Macho Man” Randy Savage’s brother “Leaping” Lanny Poffo, and wearing Savage’s gear from WCW (provided by Poffo). Flip Gordon earned this shot by winning the Over Budget Battle Royal. Cary Silkin presented the ROH World Championship to both men before the match.

Apparently, Lethal believed he was Randy Savage thanks to a slap on the shoulder from Lanny Poffo. He treated Brandi Rhodes like Miss Elizabeth, until Brandy slapped him on the shoulder and he became Lethal again.

You read that right.

The match was evenly contested early, including Jay Lethal kicking out of the Falcon Arrow (much to the dismay of Don Callis). Flip Gordon’s offense was on full display, with Gordon making a case for Greg DeMarco’s Three Stars of ALL IN.

Jay Lethal would eventually land a Cutter from the top, followed by the Lethal Injection for the win.

After the fall, Bully Ray ran in and attacked both Flip and Lethal, along with Lanny Poffo. Colt Cabana would eventually make the save. Cabana, Flip, and Lethal would Triple Powerbomb Bully Ray through the table, Shield style.
