Fans count, Ospreay stops at 9 to swivel his hips in Yoh’s face, and then tops it off with TEN! Ospreay cheers himself on, but the fans also cheer. Ospreay drags Yoh up but Yoh fires off fist in return! Ospreay knees low, whips, but Yoh reverses. Things speed up, Yoh drop toeholds and then runs to basement dropkick! Yoh tags Chuck and Ospreay hurries away to tag Swerve. Swerve kicks low, throws hands, and fans chant “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve whips, Chuck reverses but Swerve cartwheels at the ropes. Chuck runs in but into a kick. Swerve runs in at the corner, Chuck goes up and over, then runs to reel Swerve in and elbow! Chuck gets an arm, La Magistrol, TWO! Trent CHOPS more, whips Kyle to ropes but Kyle reverses and back drops! Trent flounders, goes to a corner, and Kyle starts up “AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!” “OI OI OI!” Kyle runs in but Trent dodges! Trent comes back, but Kyle blocks the tornado DDT! Kyle suplexes Trent but Trent slips free to HALF ‘N’ HALF! Kyle staggers up, but he scoops and SLAMS Trent! Trent SLIDING KNEES! Fans fire up as RPG Vice high-five! Swerve and Ospreay run in but they get attacked by Chaos first! Trent also knocks Cobb off the apron. Chaos sets up, fans fire up, and Yoh can’t believe it! But then the group hug is denied! COMPLETE SHOT from Swerve! Kyle puts Rocky back in, CLUBS him on the back, and brings Rocky up to bump him off buckles. Kyle throws hands, tags Ospreay, and Ospreay scoops for a SPINOUT BACKBREAKER! Ospreay is dizzy from how many times he went around, but he still covers, TWO! Ospreay staggers and tags in Cobb.

Fans fire up as the Imperial Unit brings Rocky up. Rocky fires hands, runs, but into a clinch! Rocky BELL CLAPS free, but Cobb CLUBS him on the back! Cobb LARIATS and GACHIMUCHI MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO! Cobb looms over Rocky, mocks him reaching out, then drags him away as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Cobb suplexes Rocky, holds him up, and marches around with him. Cobb then does a lap around inside the ring, shifts and RAMS Rocky into the corner! Rocky falls to the mat and Swerve tags in. Swerve swaggers around and then stomps Rocky. Swerve rains down fists, drags Rocky up, and turns him for a NECKBREAKER! Kneeling cover, TWO! Swerve drags Rocky over, tags in Ospreay, and Ospreay CLAWS Rocky’s back! Ospreay wrenches Rocky, tags Swerve back in, and they mug Rocky. Swerve brings Rocky around by his hears, Rampage returns to single picture, and Swerve has a chinlock.

Fans rally and Rocky fights up. Rocky throws body shots, CHOPS, but Swerve powers him to a corner! Swerve CHOPS, snapmares, then goes up to FALLING UPPERCUT! Fans cheer and Nana says that’s how good Swerve is. Swerve rushes Best Friends but they hit him first! Rocky kicks, Swerve blocks and then ducks the enzugiri, but not the REWIND HEEL! Swerve staggers away, tag to Ospreay, hot tag to Yoh! Yoh rallies on Ospreay with boxing elbows! But Ospreay CHOPS in return! Ospreay grins, whips, but Yoh reveres. Ospreay handsprings to NEURALIZER! Fans fire up as Ospreay goes to the apron.

Ospreay springboards, PIP PIP- NO, Yoh dodges! Ospreay knees low, things speed up but Yoh CLOBBERS Ospreay! Yoh drags Ospreay up to HALF HATCH BRIDGE! Cover, but Kyle breaks it! “Against Filthy Tom Lawlor! OH NO!” Team Filthy gets in the ring from the other side! Tom Lawlor CHOP BLOCKS Cole, and then with Royce Isaacs helping, he stomps away on Cole! MJF says don’t worry, he’ll save Cole! But MJF takes his time because he has to take his watch off. In that time, Lawlor puts Cole in a HALF CRAB! And Royce stomps away on Cole! MJF says okay, here comes! He’s saving the day! But wait, he has to do something about his brand new scarf. Cole ends up in an ARMBAR AND FIGURE FOUR KNEE BAR!! MJF says here goes! He storms up to the ring, Team Filthy run for it, and MJF says he almost had ’em! Darn it! He was this close!

MJF just sighs and shrugs, and tells Cole, “Well, have fun at Forbidden Door, partner.” MJF knows Cole goaded him into a match, so he just got his passive aggressive payback. Harley is not only an incredible journalist, but she is also an amazing musician. Yeah, so just hear her out. She is here to help. She goes to the ring, fans boo, but Harley says picture it. The Acclaimed and Harley Cameron! The fans boo more, but she says she will make sure that their record is a hit that goes straight to number one!

Fans keep booing but Harley belts out a high note. Billy has her stop right there! Goodness, that hurt their ears. But uh, Harley may not have seen what they do, which would make her the only one on the planet. But they have the greatest rapper in the world in Max Caster. And that’s their thing. He raps, the others do things. Yes, they do. But she knows all that. Fans keep booing as Harley talks, but that’s why she brought a rap for them to hear. She asks her dancers to join in, and she wants the Acclaimed to hear her out. Hit her music! The music starts up and she belts out more high notes.

“Before you tell me to go and take a hike, my name is Harley Cameron, Miss Money on the Mic. I’ll start with Billy Gunn, my hero since day one. Add me to the team, I’ll balance out the estrogen! Max Caster, rap master, you can rap good, I rap faster. If we teamed up, I’ll have this whole place headed for the best. Um… Does anyone wanna tell her? Bowens speaks up and has this nonsense stop. Did Harley just say that she thinks Bowens is into her? Duh. Um, okay, serious question: Did Harley get hit too many times in the head by a kangaroo as a kid? Because, if you can’t tell from the gear… He’s gay. Fans cheer and Harley realizes her mistake. And c’mon, Caster the greatest rapper alive? He preferred it when the You Can’t See Me guy did it.

Oh, and that guy didn’t have to have his head up Daddy’s ass to get over! Caster & Bowens storm outta the ring and up the ramp but QT wants them to hold on. But wait! One of the NWO Jabberwockies takes off his mask, and it’s JOHN MORRISON!! Johnny Nitro is once again Johnny Elite, and he SUPERKICKS Billy!! QTV then CLOBBERS The Acclaimed! Fans boo but Harley tells Belly that he can suck it! Johnny “TV” is now on QT’s team, but will he regret making enemies of The Acclaimed?

And MJF may have a lot on his plate, but Swerve figures he’ll cut the line and take out his Forbidden Door opponent, Hiroshi Tanahashi. Tanahashi, you’re in Swerve’s way. Swerve vows to do what he has to in order to get gold.

The bell rings and fans rally. JB and Douki approach, tie up, and JB headlocks. Douki powers out, JB runs him over, and then things speed up. Douki hurdles, JB waistlocks and full nelsons but Douki breaks free to arm-drag. Douki ducks ‘n’ dodges and arm-drags again! Douki swings, JB gets around to CHOP, knuckle lock, and go up and up and around to arm-drag back! Douki gets up into a DROPKICK! JB kips up and fans fire up. JB revels in it, much like Sanada likes to, and JB runs. Douki drops and JB tumbles out! Douki then builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit at the ramp! Fans fire up and Douki hurries to fetch JB.

Douki CHOPS JB, follows him around the way and CHOPS again! JB CHOPS back, CHOPS again, and then knees low. JB whips Douki but Douki reverses, only for JB to reverse back and send Douki hard into railing! JB goes into the ring but just to refresh the count. JB fetches Douki, CLUBS him, then hits an APRON BACK SUPLEX! Douki writhes, and surprisingly, JB scissor fingers fans! Tarzan Life is rolling going into Forbidden Door, but will he be able to bring down the Cold Skull? But wait! Sanada is HERE!! Chicago fires up for the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion as he stares JB down from the ramp. Sanada joins JB in the ring to hold the belt over his head. Will Sanada be doing that again in Toronto? Or will Jungle Boy shock the world by becoming a world champion?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage here, especially as it is another go-home going into Forbidden Door. The 8 Man Tag as the opener was quite the surprise, but it was a great match that of course the United Empire and Swerve won. Ospreay has momentum going into his match with Omega, Swerve has momentum going into his match with Tanahashi. Swerve also has a good promo explaining why he’s taking on Tanahashi on Collision, but I would think Tanahashi wins so he has momentum going into his match with MJF. Again I saw that Ospreay surely takes the US title off Omega, but MJF is going to retain the world title.

Speaking of, great stuff from MJF and Cole here, with MJF playing two-faced to throw it back at Cole. Cole VS Lawlor is going to be awesome stuff, and I would think Cole wins that. Good promo from Toni Storm with Ruby & Saraya as her back-up hype builders. Though, this was also redundant since we got a promo from both Toni and Willow on Dynamite and it isn’t gonna change anything. Toni is right that she’s retaining, Willow has her own title to worry about. This is really just a match to help add to the overall Outcasts story, and maybe at the end of that match, someone new steps up to challenge Toni for the title. Thunder Rosa maybe?

Acclaimed squashing randos was par for the course, but I can’t believe they’re feuding with QTV to hold over before going back for trios titles. And like, while Harley’s character is meant to be annoying and stuff, we know she can sing. She had a great trio with Scarlett Bordeaux and Shotzi Blackheart for Halloween, why’re they acting like she can’t sing? And her rap wasn’t on Caster level but it was decent. Hilarious little punchline where Harley didn’t realize Bowens’ sexuality, though. In the end, that was all a trap so “Johnny TV” could return to AEW. John Morrison and Will Hobbs are pretty much all the power in Team QTV, to where they shouldn’t even need QTV, they could just be solo stars or even a duo. Morrison is just gonna be dragged down by QT & Solo in a Trios feud with The Acclaimed.

Great Owen Hart Cup match from Skye VS Anna, and given the push Skye’s getting in both AEW and ROH, of course she wins in her hometown. As such, I think Ruby wins against Britt thanks to The Outcasts, and then maybe Skye finds a way to beat Ruby. And then great main event from JB and Douki. The Chicago fans really liked Douki here, and I would think there are plenty of NJPW fans in the Chicago area. JB wins, of course, so that he has momentum going into his match with Sanada. Great surprise appearance by Sanada, he is definitely winning at Forbidden Door, but as I said on Dynamite, JB will still look great in defeat.
