Keith Lee didn’t get far in the Blind Eliminator Tag Tournament, but he was teamed with archnemesis Swerve Strickland, so he probably doesn’t mind. But now he reunites with Dustin Rhodes, looking to make a proper run at the top of the division! Will they make Daddy Magic & Cool Hand Ange bask in their natural glory?

The teams sort out and Keith starts against Parker. The fans rally for Keith, and he has Parker hold on so he can revel in the moment. Parker says okay then, and he brings out his novelty knife comb. Wait, it doesn’t work? Menard checks it, Parker gets the comb out, but then turns around into GRIZZLY MAGNUM! Keith grins as Parker tags out. Keith scoops and SLAMS Parker, then scoops and SLAMS Menard onto Parker! Tag to Dustin and fans fire up as Keith scoops and SLAMS Dustin on both Menard & Parker! Fans rally as Dustin wrenches Menard. Menard knees low, throws forearms, and whips.

Dustin reverses the whip to arm-drag! Parker runs back in, into an arm-drag! Menard gets up, into an arm-drag! Dustin clamps onto Menard’s arm, wrenches and snapmares to drop a leg on that arm! Cover, ONE! Dustin holds onto Menard’s arm but Menard fights up. Menard claws Dustin’s eyes, then RAMS him into the corner! Menard RAMS Dustin more, fires forearms, and then soaks up the heat from Saskatoon. Menard whips, Dustin reverses, but Menard goes up, only for Dustin to avoid the over. Dustin takes a deep breath, then uppercuts Menard! Fans fire up and Dustin sees Parker coming to DECK him!

Dustin goes up the corner to rain down fists on Menard! Fans count along but Parker rushes up at 8! So Dustin gives Parker the rest of them! Menard drags Dustin off the corner, but Dustin gets down. Menard dodges and Parker dumps Dustin out! Keith protests and the ref reprimands, but Parker RAMS Dustin into railing! Parker puts Dustin in, Menard drops ax handles, then covers, TWO! Menard keeps Dustin from Keith, wrenches an arm and tags in Parker. They mug Dustin in the corner, then Parker RAMS in again and again! Parker runs corner to corner to RAM into Dustin again! Cover, TWO!

Dustin hangs tough as always but Parker smooths his hair and flicks it at Keith. Parker scrapes laces off Dustin’s face, and then does it again. Parker wrenches Dustin’s arm, tags in Menard, and they mug Dustin again. Menard wrenches then CHOPS, and whips corner to corner hard! Dustin falls and Menard soaks up the heat. Tag to Parker and the JAS stomps Dustin. Parker drags Dustin up and tags Menard back in, but fans rally as they mug Dustin. Parker whips Menard for Menard to whip Parker, forearm smash! Feed to the drop toehold! BOOYAH ELBOW! Cover, TWO! Dustin is still in this and Rampage goes picture in picture!

Fans rally as Dustin rises. Menard CLUBS Dustin, CLUBS him again, and then he hauls Dustin up to CHOP! Menard RAMS Dustin to the corner, tags Parker, and the mugging- NO, Dustin fights back! Dustin throws hands on Menard & Parker, reaches out for Keith, but Parker trips him! Parker drops another elbow! And another! Parker keeps between Dustin and Keith as he stomps Dustin. Parker smooths his hair again, stomps Dustin’s arm, then taunts Keith. The ref keeps Keith back, Parker CLUBS Dustin on the neck. Dustin throws body shots but Parker RAMS him to a corner! Dustin CLUBS away on Parker!

Dustin storms up but Parker kicks low! Parker clamps on a facelock to drag Dustin down. Dustin endures, fights up, and fans rally as Dustin powers towards his corner! Parker digs in his heels as Rampage returns to single picture, but he calls to Menard. Menard CLUBS Dustin from behind! The ref reprimands and the fans boo but then Menard & Parker look to each other. They look at Keith, decide to not throw haymakers, but then Menard dropkicks a leg out! Parker drags Dustin up while Keith hobbles away. But Dustin back drops Parker away! Menard brings Dustin away before Keith returns, only to run into a POWERSLAM!

Fans fire up while Dustin and the JAS are all down! Dustin crawls, reaches out, hot tag to Keith! Fans fire up as The Limitless One sees Parker and Menard in opposite corners. Keith shrugs and SPLASHES Parker! Then SPLASHES Menard! Clothesline for Parker, clothesline for Menard! And again! And again! And then back to a SPLASH for Parker, and a TOSS into Menard! Fans fire up again and Dustin returns. Keith and Dustin coordinate, and Keith TOSSES Dustin into Menard & Parker! Fans fire up, Keith hauls Parker to a fireman’s carry. Menard makes the save, and they both shove Keith into Dustin!

The JAS DOUBLE DDT Keith down! The ref reprimands as they push Keith over. Parker covers, only for Dustin to break it! Parker fires off on Dustin, then Parker whips Menard for Menard to whip Parker and forearm smash! Drop toehold, but Keith stops the Booyah! And he SPINEBUSTERS Parker onto Menard! QT notes that Harley Cameron’s new song, Rap Class, is also a huge hit. Harley is so happy! She’s Number 12 in Turkey! Aaron says The Acclaimed better get the hint. Harley says they won’t be a problem for too long. ROLL THE FOOTAGE!

Johnny Drip Dri- er… TV… emerges from his pool! And he says they better call the local fire department, because Daddy Ass & The Acclaimed just got burned by that fire Hayley was spitting! QTV is training like it’s Rocky 5, cuz they’re hungry for victory! It’ll be Johnny, QT & Solo VS The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn next week! Will Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & Daddy Ass have the perfect response?

La Wera Loca is back home in Canada, but she isn’t happy. She wants to be a champion and still isn’t one, will this win here tonight help get her back to a title match?

Saskatoon’s own didn’t get a whole lot of time, but wait! Here comes the AEW Women’s World Champion, Toni Storm! She and Saraya go right down to the ring, and Storm has a mic. Storm says hi to Taya, and congratulates her on this win. But Taya hasn’t been getting many of those, has she? No, she’s been losing, a lot. And the reason for that is because Taya is a loser. Fans boo but Storm says the reason Taya’s a loser is because Taya is Canadian. Fans boo even more! Taya takes the mic and says that’s so~ original. But doesn’t Storm have something else she should be worrying about? Like… that championship.

Storm says she doesn’t worry, she’s already beaten everyone. Uh… Everyone? Taya and Storm have never wrestled. They’ve never even touched. Saraya says don’t touch! Storm says they just haven’t had the opportunity, has she? Oh, Storm wants to talk opportunities? Let’s think about this… Taya will give Storm an opportunity, tomorrow night at Battle of the Belts! And it’ll be a first-time-ever match up, Storm VS Valkyrie, for THE AEW Women’s World Championship! Fans love it, but Taya adds, “Unless you’re worried.” Storm isn’t worried. Taya sure thinks so. She is, isn’t she? No, she’s never worried!

They go back and forth, and it gets on Storm’s nerve! Calgary, BOTB, Storm will humiliate Taya in front of her friends, family and fellow countrymen! Now how does that sound?! Taya smiles and says, “Done.” The Outcasts leave, but will La Wera Loca finally get herself some gold in AEW?

The Murderhawk Monster is back after truly going around the world and beating down opponent after opponent. Will Archer remind AEW that #EverybodyDies? Or will #JustTrent survive?

The second Archer’s in the ring, he CLOBBERS Trent! The bell rings, Archer throws his vest at Trent, then drags him up. Archer whips Trent corner to corner hard and fans rally for “JAKE THE SNAKE!” Archer stomps Trent around, drags him up, and swings, but Trent dodges! Trent CHOPS, forearms, but Archer eggs him on. Trent throws more shots but Archer DECKS him! Archer then sits Trent up to CLUB him down! Archer sits Trent up to CLUB him again! Archer puts Trent on ropes to CHOKE him! The ref counts, Archer lets off, and Archer glares at the ref. The ref reminds him he’s the authority, so Archer leaves him alone.

Trent CHOPS back! Archer DECKS Trent again! Archer ROCKS Trent in the corner again and again, then digs his knee in. “This is my ring, NOT yours! No hugging in here, baby!” Archer lets off to drag Trent up, and reels him in. Archer hauls Trent up but Trent sunset flips through! Archer stays up, choke grips Trent and drags him up, but Trent fires hands! Trent SLAPS Archer! Archer grins, runs in, but Trent dumps him out! Trent then builds speed to WRECK Archer with a dropkick! Fans fire up as Trent goes again, to DIVE, into Archer’s hands! APRON0 NO, Trent slips free to MULE KICK!

Trent goes up a corner, aims, ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Direct hit and down goes Archer! And then Best Friends HUG! You GOT to give the people want they want! Trent puts Archer back in, but Jake the Snake storms up! Archer distracts the ref, The Snake ROCKS Trent! And wrenches, to a short arm LARIAT! Fans fire up, Archer goes out after Trent, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Archer tells Jake to calm it down. Archer then paces, refreshes the ring count, and he drags Trent up. Archer scoops but Trent slips free to POST Archer! Trent gets away, runs back in, but into a KNEE! Archer storms over to Chuck but Chuck backs off. Archer goes back to Trent, drags him up, and whips him hard into railing! Trent slumps down and Archer refreshes the count again. Chuck checks Trent, Trent gets up and in. Archer drags Trent up, puts him in a corner, and swings, but Trent dodges! Trent CHOPS, but Archer just grins. Trent CHOPS but Archer just storms up at Trent. Trent CHOPS, Archer CHOPS!

Trent sputters, Archer hauls him up and suplexes him across the ring! Chuck coaches Trent but Archer grins as he storms over. Archer pushes Trent around, talks some trash, and smothers Trent in the corner! The ref counts, but Archer backs him off again, and Rampage goes to break.

Trent reels Archer in, gets him up, PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO!! Fans fire up and Chuck coaches Trent. Trent focuses, brings Archer up and fires forearms! Archer just grins?! Trent throws more shots but Archer is enjoying this. Trent throws off the elbow pads to throw more shots! Archer stands, roars, but Trent ENZIGURIS! Trent runs, into a BODY CHECK! Archer clamps on, drags Trent up, CHOKE- NO, wheelbarrow to victory roll! TWO!!

Trent hurries to a corner, Archer runs in but into a BUSAIKU KNEE! Trent hurries up a corner, but Archer STEP-UP KNEES! Trent wobbles, Archer roars, and Archer brings Trent up in the inverted crucifix! BLACK OUT BOMB!! And then Archer stands Trent up for a POINT-BLANK LARIAT!! Cover, Archer wins!

Archer didn’t have to go that hard, he wanted to go that hard! Then he BOOTS Chuck, DECKS him, and drags him up! Archer CLUBS the Kentucky Gentleman down, and Jake the Snake gets him a mic. “Orange Cassidy, bring your ass out here! I want that International Championship at Battle of the Belts, and if you don’t come out here… Both these b*tches die.” Best Friends are at Archer’s mercy, but here comes Freshly Squeezed! Archer shoves Best Friends down, and he looks at Cassidy as he makes his way to the ring. Tony Khan sends word that the match is made! Archer challenges for the International Championship, but he clamps onto Cassidy’s neck anyway!

Jake tells Archer not to “screw the pooch” now that he has the match. Let go of Cassidy! Don’t kill the golden goose. That comes Saturday. Jake then picks up the backpack and tells Cassidy, “This is yours. Or should I say, was. It’s ours now. If you want it back, Saturday would be a good day to try and get it. If you’ve got the balls to do it!” Jake and Archer take the backpack with the belt inside, will the Murderhawk Monster be the one to turn Orange into pulp?

AEW hears from Team Triple J and Hardy Party.

Jeff Jarrett says he told Sonjay again and again, and Sonjay says as a man, he is willing to admit he was wrong about Matt Hardy. Karen adds on that Sonjay was very wrong. But Ethan Page says everyone around here just does whatever they want and just assume that their actions don’t have consequences. But Ethan will remind them that everyone’s actions have consequences, even his. Triple J keeps arguing, but then Sonjay gets an idea! And then Ethan lets us know that they’re all going to be in this year’s “Royal Rampage.” And all of Triple J is, too! And now, each team is determined to make sure the other side doesn’t win!

Sonjay mocks Matt Hardy’s “DELETE” and laugh, and Karen is sick of even that. Jay Lethal seems distracted, though. Will this really go how Triple J wants it? Or will it instead be a WONDERFUL~ bit of revenge for Matt Hardy, All Ego, and Brother Zay?

Konosuke Takeshita w/ Don Callis VS ???

The Don Callis Family seems to be growing, as The Bastard, PAC, joined Konosuke & The Blackpool Combat Club in their war with The Elite. Will Konosuke make sure he is red hot going into Blood & Guts? Or will not even this tune-up be enough to prepare for Kota Ibushi?

The bell rings but then Callis has a mic to speak up. He steps into the ring, and he wants to just add a little bit of information tonight. “This young, able-bodied man, this young wrestler, is not just any wrestler. He’s here for one reason, ladies and gentlemen, and it’s not because he’s from Saskatchewan. He’s here because he’s the childhood friend of Kenny Omega. In fact, he was Kenny Omega’s first training partner. Now, that’s not his fault. But why is he here? He’s here because Kenny Omega, as great as an athlete as he is, has a fundamental weakness, which is his need to be surrounded by his idiot friends.”

Fans boo but Callis tells this man this isn’t his fault. But one question: Does he know the Japanese word for “Kill?” KUROSE!! And so Konosuke goes after Mentallo! Konosuke whips corner to corner, Mentallo reverses, and he runs in to HELLUVA KICK! Mentallo runs corner to corner, but Konosuke follows to HELLUVA KICK back! Fans boo but Konosuke shakes his head. Konosuke whips, Mentallo reverses again, and SOBATS! And fires off fast hands, a kick, and runs, into a LARIAT! Konosuke rains down fists on Mentallo from all sides! Fans boo but Konosuke lets off and “apologizes” as he cools off.

Konosuke goes to a corner, runs in, but Mentallo blocks! And DRAGON SCREW! Fans fire up and Mentallo waistlocks. Konosuke blocks and ELBOWS free, but Mentallo dropkicks a leg out! GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Mentallo was so close but fans still rally up. Mentallo climbs, but Konosuke gets up and wags a finger. Konosuke ROCKS Mentallo, but Mentallo throws body shots! Konosuke powers through to SUPERPLEX Mentallo all the same! Konosuke snarls and hobbles over to Mentallo, scoops him, tucks him in, and this is a message to Ibushi! BASTARD DRIVER!!

Backstage interview with The Dark Order.

Renee Paquette is with Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds & John Silver and says last week, we saw them across the ring from Hangman Page & The Young Bucks, getting a win over them but with a low blow to Hangman. How could they turn their back on him? Silver says it’s because Hangman deserves it! Silver is sick of everyone leaving them! Everyone leaves but they do nothing about it. This one really pissed them off, though. They made that man a world champion and he completely abandoned them! Would a real friend do that? Renee says no, and Reynolds says that is their point.

Hangman’s career was flourishing because of The Dark Order, but they became soft. They became weak. They were recently reminded that they were bred to be the lions of AEW. And last Friday, that was the Dark Order’s resurrection. Uno says that is right. They no longer waste time on fake friends! Time to rebuild. So, are you going to #JoinDarkOrder?

“Tonight, the ROH Women’s World Champion, Athena, takes on Willow in the semifinals of the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Let’s see who will go on to face Ruby Soho in the finals on Collision tomorrow night.” Athena and Willow already talked it out last week, the Fallen Goddess saying the Babe with the Power’s gonna take another L to her. Then it looks like there’s been enough talk. It’s TIME for the main event! Will Athena stay undefeated all the way to holding up the cup? Or will Willow redeem herself from her recent losses here on Rampage?

The bell rings and Willow circles with Athena. They tie up, Athena gets around to a waistlock but Willow fights the lift. Willow switches and then THROWS Athena away! Willow eggs the champ on and fans rally up. Athena circles with Willow, they tie up and Athena headlocks. Willow powers out and runs Athena over! Fans fire up and Willow runs, but Athena drops to then hurdle, and then she goes the other way to POUNCE Willow! Athena mocks Willow by bringing down imaginary straps and fires up. Athena laughs, but then Willow runs to tilt-o-whirl RANA! Athena goes to a corner, Willow runs in to forearm SMASH!

Fans fire up as Willow mocks Athena by cheering herself on. Athena bails out, Willow pursues, but Athena leads her on a cat ‘n’ mouse. But Willow avoids the elbow! Willow steps in, but Athena grabs the leg to HOTSHOT Willow! Athena cheers herself on, but checks her chin. Athena storms up on Willow to KICK her, ROCK her, and snapmare for a KICK to the back! Athena soaks up the cheers and jeers, but Willow kicks from below. Ruby is watching as Athena stretches Willow’s leg before going into the cover, TWO! Willow goes to ropes, Athena stalks her. Athena brings Willow around but Willow fires shots!

Athena CLUBS Willow down, then dropkicks her in the side! Cover, TWO! Fans rally, Athena pushes Willow around, and KICKS her against ropes. Fans rally but Athena scoffs while Rampage goes picture in picture.

Athena talks Willow but Willow throws elbows! Willow DECKS Athena, then SENTONS! Cover, TWO into the ghost pin! TWO and both women stand, Athena KICKS Willow’s leg out! Athena scowls while Willow clutches the knee. Athena throws down hands, taunts Willow, then throws down more hands. Athena toys with Willow but Willow throws body shots! Willow stands but Athena KNEES her down! Willow ends up on ropes, Athena ELBOWS her in the back! Athena puts the bad leg around ropes and pulls! The ref counts, Willow clubs at Athena, but Athena lets off at 4 to argue with the ref.

Athena stands Willow up, whips her corner to corner, and Willow falls over just before reaching the way! Athena storms up but into an ELBOW! Willow kicks but Athena blocks to put the leg on ropes, and she kicks the leg! Athena pulls on the leg, the ref counts, and Athena lets off at 4. Athena argues with the ref more, then whips Willow back the other way. Willow cartwheels, hobbles, but Athena blocks her kick! And ducks the enziguri! Athena has an INVERTED HALF CRAB! Athena pushes on the knee and ankle but Willow endures! Willow reaches out, but Athena drags her from ropes to keep on the hold.

Willow fights around, powers her way forward, but Athena shifts to a full ANKLE LOCK! Even so, Willow fights and the fans rally! Willow turns over, and she kicks at Athena! And kicks and kicks and kicks and kicks as Athena holds on! Willow finally BOOTS Athena away! Willow hobbles around, Athena rises, and Rampage returns to single picture. Both women storm up, and Willow scoops, but the bad leg gives up! Athena scoops, but Willow fights! Willow whips, Athena ducks ‘n’ dodges and springboards, but Willow dodges to run and POUNCE!! PERIOD! Fans fire up and Willow has adrenaline help with the pain!

Willow rallies on Athena with LARIAT after LARIAT! Back body block int he corner, another clothesline, and then a whip, SPINEBUSTER! High stack, TWO!! Athena survives but Willow’s leg hurts too much for her to be frustrated. Willow kicks the leg into working, and she hobbles after Athena again. Willow drags Athena up, reels her in, but Athena fights the gut wrench by going after the other leg! She BITES the leg?! The ref reprimands, Athena stops and gets around Willow to roll her up! With tights! TWO!! Athena dodges Willow to SOBAT! GOURD BUSTER! SLIDING FOREARM!! Cover, TWO!!

Fans fire up as Willow is still in this! Athena is beside herself, and both women slowly rise. They go forehead to forehead, then Willow CHOPS! Athena CHOPS! Willow CHOPS! They stand and Athena CHOPS! Willow staggers, but she comes back to CHOP! Athena CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! AND CHOPS AND CHOPS AND CHOPS! But Willow takes them all, ducks the last one and scoop SLAMS! Willow runs, but Athena avoids the senton! Athena hurries to STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!! Athena is frustrated as Willow survives again. Fans rally, Athena drags Willow by her hair, and clamps on a CROSSFACE!

Fans boo but Athena pulls back! Willow endures, reaches, rolls back to a cover, TWO!! Athena runs in, but into a spin an fireman’s carry, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Athena is still in this, but the straps come down! Fans fire up with Willow and she headbangs! Then she runs, but into a CHOP BLOCK! Athena hurries to get Willow up, Canadian Rack?! But Willow slips out and Athena falls! Willow high stacks, then traps the legs in a deep cover, WILLOW WINS!!

No one is more shocked than Athena! Her undefeated streak between both AEW and ROH ends at 49-1!! Ruby smirks, perhaps a little impressed by the woman she once called friend. But now, the Runaway and the Babe with the Power meet in the finals of this year’s tournament! Who will hold up the cup at the end of Saturday Night Collision?

My Thoughts:

A really good Rampage that built a lot for this weekend’s Collision/Battle of the Belts three hour block. Great opener from Naturally Limitless over the JAS, and I really do hope they’re on the list for title opportunities as AEW approaches All In and All Out. And of course we get a QTV segment, but at least it sets up the Six Man Tag blowoff that of course The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn will win. And good promo from Triple J and Hardy Party to set up the Rampage battle royal. Obviously they’ll all cancel out, setting up a separate Six Man Tag blowoff for them. Who knows who’ll win the battle royal or what it’ll even mean, but I’m sure it’ll be fun.

Taya wins a very short squash, guess that’s about what we can expect if there’s two women’s matches on the cards. But it was all a vehicle to give Toni Storm a reason to come out and insult Taya, which then turns into Taya calling out Toni for a title match. Technically a little backwards, but Taya VS Toni will be a great match for BOTB 7 tomorrow night. Pretty sure Toni wins, though, but they could send out Toni’s challenger for All In/All Out after. And then while not a squash match, I figured Archer would win against Trent. And I like that Archer immediately called out Cassidy, that’ll also be a great match for BOTB 7. Though I feel like if any title could change hands on BOTB, Archer taking the International Championship could be the one.

Good match from Konosuke and Mentallo, but again, Konosuke winning makes sense. He has momentum going into Blood & Guts, which is okay since I’m thinking Golden Elite win. Good promo from Dark Order, I feel like Reynolds’ part about the reminder is a reference to the story in ROH. And I’m happy to hear they might be bringing new people into the faction. I feel they’ve needed to be doing this long before now, but better late than never. And a great main event from Athena and Willow, on par with their title match back in February, but with Ruby being the other finalist, perfect move to have Willow win. There’s history they can play on, and whether it’s Ruby or Willow winning, both would make great choices for 2023 Queen of Harts.
