The bell rings and teams storm in. Albany cheers on their guy, Big Bill, and Bill raises his fist. That only makes Hardy Party and a few others rush in to tackle Bill! The teams all start brawling, Ethan & Matt Hardy keep on BIll, then Jeff hits POETRY IN MOTION! Bill stays up, Lethal is after Kassidy and Satnam mugs him! The JAS brawl with Serpentico and Daniels, Sydal scoops Lethal! Blade CHOKES Ethan, Butcher is after Kassidy, the Hardy Boyz try to dump Bill out but he’s too big! Luther claws at Cage’s face! The Superbad Squad mugs Kassidy, Cage hits Luther back, and Bill ROCKS Matt Hardy!

Bill smothers Hardy, fans rally behind him, and he feels that energy! Parker dumps Sydal out but Sydal holds on! Bill ROCKS Matt Hardy, throws some elbows, and Cage ROCKS Luther! Menard digs his boots in on Blade, Daniels lifts Parker. Kassidy whips Serpentico but Serpentico BOOTS back! Serpentico BOOTS Sydal, but Sydal helps hit GIN & JUICE with Kassidy! Fans rally, Luther shoves Cage and then POP-UP KNEES! And BOOTS! Luther runs in but Cage puts him on the apron! Bill BOOTS Luther down and ELIMINATES him! Fans fire up as Bill helps Cage stay in this. Serpentico runs in but Blade dumps him out!

Serpentico ROCKS Blade, but Butcher DECKS and ELIMINATES Serpentico! No more Chaos Project! But then Superbad Squad brawls with Brian & Bill! Sydal & Daniels mug Menard, Kassidy jumps on Satnam’s back! Satnam throws him off, swats Jeff Hardy, and saves Lethal from Ethan! Satnam CLUBS Ethan, Sydal & Daniels pick Menard up. Lethal goes after Daniels, fans still rally for Bill, but Menard thrwos body shots! Fans boo Daddy Magic but he fires off on Bill more! Menard rains down fists, goes to TEN, then RAMS into Bill! Mneard & Butcher go after Bill as #MagicMeat, but he’s too big for them!

Kassidy and Matt Hardy mug Lethal, then Matt helps Jeff lift Blade. But Butcher makes the save! Lethal puts Kassidy on the apron! Kassidy holds on by a hand! And he ROCKS Lethal! Then SPRINGBOARD STUNNERS! But Satnam helps Lethal stay up. Kassidy leaps, but into Satnam’s arms! Satnam TOSSES Kassidy out to the floor and ELIMINATES him! Sonjay mockingly asks what happened! Ethan fires hands on Satnam but Satnam HEADBUTTS him down! Then CLUBS him down for good measure! Sylda fires KICKS on Parker and KICKS on Menard! But the JAS kick him low and mug Sydal!

Fans continue to rally for Big Bill as he and Cage chill. Sydal avoids the double toss to dump Parker out! Sydal sends Menard into Parker but Parker holds on! Sydal brings Menard around but Menard tosses him out, Parker holding the ropes down! Sydal hits the floor, the JAS ELIMINATE him! Daniels goes after Menard to avenge Sydal! Satnam CLUBS Blade, Matt Hardy CLUBS Butcher. Bill digs his boots into Ethan, Satnam CLUBS Blade again. Cage and Bill mug Butcher, Matt hits Parker with a TWIST OF FATE! Jeff TOSSES Parker to ELIMINATE him! Satnam digs his boot into Blade, but the Hardys go after him together!

Satnam CLUBS the Hardys away, Lethal dodges Daniels and fires back! Butcher fights off Cage and Bill, Blade helps him out, but BIll UPPERCUTS Blade! Satnam HEAEDBUTTS Jeff, HEADBUTTS Matt, Butcher throws hands on Ethan! Satnam CHOPS Matt Hardy, Bill & Cage mug Blade. Ethan scoops Lethal and aims, but lethal slips off to clohtesline Ethan out! Ethan holds on, Lethal runs in but Ethan RAMS into him! Step-in CUTTER! Ethan dumps Lethal out but Lethal holds on! Sonjay gets up so Ethan DECKS him! If only Sonjay could be eliminated. But then Satnam DUMPS Ethan out to ELIMINATE him!

But then the Hardys RAM Satnam into Lethal! Lethal falls, and is ELIMINATED! Ethan laughs at Lethal while Satnam fights off the Hardy Boyz. Lethal and Ethan brawl to the back! Fans fire up as All Ego has the edge but Lethal knees low, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Back in the ring, Satnam continues to fight off the Hardy Boyz. Menard digs his boots into Cage, but Bill CLUBS Menard down! The Hardys mug Satnam, Butcher & Blade mug Daniels. Bill smothers Menard, but Menard fights him and Cage off! Daddy Magic fires up, and he fires off on Bill! But then Cage throws hands on Menard! Satnam DUMPS Matt Hardy to the apron! Matt holds on, slides back in, but Satnam stomps away on him! Satnam drags Matt up and fireman’s carries! Satnam heads for ropes but Matt holds on for dear life! Rampage returns to single picture as Jeff kicks Satnam!

Blade and Daniels brawl, Cage brings Menard around. Butcher whips Blade into Daniels for a clothesline, then Butcher adds his own! Cage suplexes Menard up, Bill BOOTS him into the BRAINBUSTER! Fans fire up as Bill runs up to TOSS Menard out and ELIMINATE him! No more JAS! Daniels fights off the Superbad Squad, the Hardys keep working on Satnam! Fireman’s carry, GUTBUSTER! And then they TOSS Daniels out to ELIMINATE him! No more, uh, well, it was just Daniels & Sydal, no fancy name. Matt tries to Twist of Fate Satnam but he’s too big! He lifts Matt in return and throws him out HARD! Satnam ELIMINATES Matt Hardy!

Fans boo but Bill says he and Cage can hold on. Jeff dropkicks Satnam’s leg and fires off hands! And a JAWBREAKER! Jeff keeps throwing hands, UPPERCUTS, but Satnam choke grips! Jeff kicks free, fires off, TWIST OF FATE!! Satnam staggers, and Bill BOOTS! Cage SUPERKICKS! Jeff runs to CLOBBER Satnam, but Satnam stays up against ropes! Bill & Cage work together to DOUBLE LARIAT Satnam up and out to ELIMINATE him!! No more Triple J! Fans are thunderous for their guy, and Sonjay is distraught! But then Superbad Squad mug Jeff! They DUMP Jeff and ELIMINATE the Hardy Boyz!

Fans boo as we see Big Bill & Brian Cage step to Butcher & Blade. That’s a lot of New York in this match and Albany is loving this! The brawl is on! Haymakers go back and forth between all these big men, but Bill UPPERCUTS Butcher! Cage BOOTS Blade, fireman’s carries, but Blade slips out! FISHERMAN SCREW!! Blade helps Butcher against Bill but that just pisses Bill off! Blade says fine, bring it! Bill hears the fans, and he choke grips! Blade slips free to STUNNER?! Butcher LARIATS!! Bill wobbles, Superbad Squad hurries to get him up! But Cage makes the save! Cage ripcords Blade to FOREARM!

Cage fireman’s carries, F5 for Blade! But Butcher CHOPS! And lifts, but Cage fights it! Cage wrenches and clinches, COMPLETE SHOT! Cage drags Butcher up, pushes him to ropes, but Blade makes the save! Blade whips, Cage reverses and KICKS! And DISCUS- HAYMAKER from Blade! Cage stays up, Blade atomic drops! Butcher runs in to DECK Cage! Superbad Squad get Cage up but Bill runs in! DOUBLE LARIATS!! Fans fire up for Bill and he SPLASHES Butcher in a corner! Bill BOOTS Butcher down! Bill roars and fans are thunderous! Cage hauls Blade up, he and Bill coordinate, LARIAT BOMB!!

Cage drags Blade up to TOSS him and ELIMINATE him! Butcher is all alone, and the fans are fired up for Bill & Cage! Butcher fights with CHOPS and haymakers, then focuses on Cage. Bill runs in but Butcher moves, the SPLASH hits Cage! Butcher ELBOWS and CHOPS Bill over and over! But Cage runs in, only for the clothesline to hit Bill! Cage ROCKS Butcher but Butcher gest around, IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER! Butcher goes for Bill but Bill shoves him away. Butcher kicks a leg out and he fires off forearms! Butcher runs but Cage BOOTS him! Then Bill choke grips! Cage goes up, CHOKE SLAM FLYING LARIAT!!!

Cage & Bill get Butcher up and CLOTHESLINE him up and out!! BILL & CAGE WIN!!

Now that was a BIG win! Bill & Cage faced MJF & Cole once, will they get meet them again in tag team competition? Or will it be the Top Guys taking on the big guys?

The Kingdom speaks.

Matt Taven says “ROH was always home. Because ROH gave us our first opportunity.” Mike Bennett says that he feels in his soul, they did right by ROH. They did right by every single team that ever stepped in the ROH ring. But you learn a lot about yourself when you’re put in moments you’re not prepared for, when you face adversity. There was a point where the home they knew for a decade looked to be coming to an end. So it felt appropriate that there was only one team they’d rather be in the ring with in the Briscoe Brothers. They fought for the ROH World Tag Team Championships, and though The Kingdom lost, that was the proudest moment in their careers.

Then Tony Khan came along, he purchased ROH, and in that moment, when Mike heard Tony speak on what ROH meant to him as a fan and as a businessman, Mike knew things were in good hands. The Kingdom got the call to come back, they had a second chance to show everyone what ROH and what ROH Tag Team wrestling meant. They are The OGK, and they will make this their Kingdom. Will that journey back to the top start here?

Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford VS Komander w/ Alex Abrahantes!

Mr. Superbad was expecting Scorpio Sky, but sadly Scorpio is not medically cleared to wrestle tonight. Kip “settles” for The Commander of Lucha Libre, but will tonight be Superbad? Or will the “substitute” teach Kip a thing or two?

The bell rings and the two circle. Fans rally behind Komander as he and Kip feel out knuckle locks. Kip wrenches, wrangles and top wristlocks Komander, to then stand on the arm. Kip conducts the choir, but Komander kips up! Komander wrenches and wrangles Kip! Komander stands on the arm and he conducts the choir! Fans get louder for Komander and Komander salutes. Kip kips up and is frustrated, “What’re you doing?!” Kip rushes in, headlocks, but Komander powers out. Kip runs Komander over, flexes, and fans boo. Things speed up, Komander arm-drags Kip, then arm-drags again!

Penelope is frustrated, Komander runs in but Kip sends him out! Kip fakes the plancha and then mocks the salute. Komander rushes up, blocks a punch and ROUNDHOUSES, then springboards! Kip gets under, whips, but Komander handsprings! Kip gets under, but Komander DROPKICKS! Fans fire up with Komander as Kip bails out. Komander waits as Kip goes around the way, then Komander FLIES! Direct hit at the ramp side and fans are fired up again! Komander drags Kip up and puts him in while Rampage goes picture in picture.

Komander climbs, Kips taggers up, and Komander FLYING DOUBLE STOMPS! Cover, TWO! Penelope mocks Komander while Kip bails out. Komander keeps his cool, but Kip drags him out! Kip swings but Komander ROCKS him first! Komander whips, but Kip reverses, and Komander goes into railing hard! Komander falls in a heap, Kip storms over and he drags Komander up. Kip brings Komander around to SMACK off the apron! Kip puts Komander in, springboards, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Cover, TWO! Kip is frustrated but he looms over Komander. Kip drags Komander up, but Komander throws body shots!

Kip CHOPS, and Komander flops against ropes. Kip drags Komander up, CHOPS him again, and Komander comes back to CHOP! Kip CHOPS Komander off his feet! Kip whips corner to corner hard and Komander bounces off buckles! Kip dusts himself off, stands on Komander’s face and scuffs him. The ref counts, Kip keeps scuffing Komander, and then he drags Komander up. FISHERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Kip is upset that he’s not quite perfect, and Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and Komander endures the squeeze of Kip’s chinlock. Fans rally, Komander fights up, and Komander throws body shots! Kip swings but Komander hits him first! They go forearm for forearm, back and forth, but Kip gets the edge! Kip UPPERCUTS, whips Komander to ropes, but Komander tilt-o-whirls to RANA! Kip staggers up, ducks a roundhouse but not the HEEL KICK! Cover, TWO! Kip survives but Komander keeps his cool. Kip goes to ropes, Komander runs in, but Kip ELBOWS back! Komander returns, Arabian Press arm-drag and takedown to RINGS OF SATURN!

Kip endures as his arms are bent, but Komander shifts to a ghost pin! TWO!! Kip escapes but fans rally for Komander. Komander runs in, but Kip blocks a kick to KNEE! Kip runs, but Komander ROCKS him with a forearm! Komander brings Kip around, fans fire up with Komander, and he ROCKS Kip! Komander slingshots to HOTSHOT! Kip is down and Komander goes up! Penelope freaks out for the tightrope SHOOTING STAR! But Komander has to land out of it as Kip moves! Kip ROCKS Komander, tosses him out, and then goes to the apron! PENALTY KICK! Kip puts Komander in and fans rally up. Kip aims from the corner, calls his shot, and runs corner to corner to CANNONBALL! Kip then pushes Komander down, to RUNNING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, TWO!! Fans fire up while Penelope is furious! Kip shakes out his arm, he stalks Komander, and Kip reels him in. Fans rally for Komander as Kip torture racks, DEATHLY- NO, Komander lands out of it to waistlock. Kip switches and shoves but Komander ELBOWS back! But Penelope CLAWS at Komander’s face! Abrahantes protests but the ref misses it as Kip distracts him! MAGIC SCREW!! Cover, TWO!?!?

Komander survives and Kip is seething! Fans rally up as Komander goes to the apron. Kip goes up the corner, he drags Komander up to join him, but Komander fights the superplex! Komander ROCKS Kip, kicks the legs out, and then springboards to FLYING DESTROYER!!! Komander then goes up, tightrope SHOOTING STAR!! Cover, Komander wins!!

The Kingdom VS Hayden Backlund & Myung-Jae Lee!

We heard from Mike Bennett & Matt Taven earlier tonight, and we’ve seen them building momentum in ROH. Will the OGK do the same here in AEW and rebuild their Kingdom?

The teams sort out and Hayden starts with Taven. But then Taven BLASTS Lee! HEEL KICK for Hayden! Tag to Mike and Taven whips him in to ROCK Hayden! Taven SPLASHES! Feed to the fireman’s carry, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER and JUST THE TIP (of the knee)! Then Taven triangle jumps to FLYING ENZIGURI! Taven sends Lee back down, Mike drags Hayden up! PROTON PACK!! After getting that win tonight, and given his great record on top of that, Komander gets a title opportunity! He will tame up with El Hijo Del Vikingo to take on Aussie Open for the ROH World Tag Team Championships! Will Komander & Vikingo make history on the 200th episode? Or will Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis refuse to be a one ‘n’ done team?

Hikaru Shida VS Nyla Rose!

As soon as Shida hops in the ring, Nyla attacks! The bell rings and the two scrap in the corner! Fans boo as Nyla scoops and SLAMS Shida! Nyla grabs Shida’s kendo stick, and threatens the ref with it. But then she tosses it away, and brings Shida up. Shida fires off forearms! Nyla throws those back! But Shida throws more! Nyla puts Shida in a corner, fires off knees, then she CLUBS Shida down! Nyla digs her boot in, lets off, and fans boo. Nyla drags Shida up to whip corner to corner, runs in, but Shida BOOTS her back! Shida runs to DROPKICK! Nyla stays up but Shida fires up! Fans fire up with her as she reels Nyla in!

Nyla fights the lift, scoops Shida, but Shida fights free! Shida dodges the lariat to tilt-o-whirl and RANA Nyla to a corner! Fans fire up and Shida runs in, to KNEE Nyla! Shida then climbs up and rains down fists! Fans count along and Shida goes all the way to TEN! Shida shouts “YOSHA!” and she kicks Nyla from the corner. Shida is up top and she leaps, but Nyla SWATS the missile dropkick! Fans rally but Nyla KICKS Shida in the side! Nyla TOSSES Shida out, and Shafir is there, holding Shida’s kendo stick! But Nyla goes out, only for Shida to fire off hands! Shida runs, but Nyla blocks the rana!

Nyla brings Shida over to SWING her into railing! Fans rally while Shida writhes and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Nyla gets in, distracts the ref, and Shafir drags Shida up to SAYANAGI! Shafir puts Shida in the ring, then snatches the stick again. Nyla covers, TWO! Shida is tougher than that but Nyla covers again. TWO, and Nyla tries again, TWO! Nyla is annoyed but she should know Shida’s toughness. Nyla bumps Shida off buckles, CHOKES her on ropes, and mocks the fans rallying for Shida before she CLUBS Shida! Nyla CLAWS Shida’s face, the ref counts, but Nyla CLUBS Shida again! The ref reprimands, but Nyla drags Shida up and scoops to SLAM! Then drops a leg! Shida writhes while Nyla soaks up the heat.

Nyla soaks up heat from all sides of the ring, even the ramp side. Nyla goes back to Shida, but Shida cradles! TWO!! Shida fires off on Nyla, Nyla hits back, and they brawl to their feet. Nyla JAWBREAKERS and Shida falls over! Nyla gets a leg, stands on the other, and has a standing toehold! Shida endures, claws at Nyla’s legs, but Nyla leans on the toehold. Shida reaches out, but Nyla drags her away from ropes! Nyla turns her over, and has Shida for a HALF CRAB! Shida endures, fights forward with her free leg, and reaches out with a hand! Nyla drags her away again! And has both legs for a FULL BOSTON CRAB!

Shida endures but then Nyla shifts to CLAW her face! The ref reprimands, Nyla lets off on both the nose and the leg, and Rampage returns to single picture. Shida fights up to fire off forearms! Fans fire up with Shida, but Nyla puts up a guard. Shida body shots! Shida tries to suplex but Nyla powers out. Shida BOOTS Nyla, SWATS the lariats, QUESTION MARK KICK! AX KICK! SLIDING FOREARM! Shafir is worried as Shida suplexes, but Nyla blocks it! Shida powers through to suplex high and hard! Cover, TWO!! But Shida’s fire just burns brighter! The Outcasts are watching backstage, not really liking where this is going.

Nyla goes to the apron, fans rally for “HOLY SHIDA!” Shida climbs, drags Nyla up, but Nyla blocks the deadlift! Nyla drags Shida out to the apron and brings her up, two hand grip! But Shida KICKS free! Nyla goes to the floor, and Shida MISSILE DROPKICKS! Fans fire up and Shida drags Nyla into the ring! Shida covers, TWO! Nyla is still in this, Shida should know her toughness, too! But Shida stays fired up, and she goes to the apron. Shida climbs the ropes but Nyla choke grips! CHOKE SLAM! Cover, TWO!! Fans fire up while Nyla is frustrated. Nyla snarls, drags Shida up, and reels her in, BEAST- NO, Shida fights the bomb!

Shida RANAS, then catches Nyla’s haymaker to ROCK her! Shida powers up, FALCON ARROW!! Cover, TWO!!! Nyla survives and shocks Shida! Shida powers up, takes aim, KATANA- LARIAT!! Nyla takes Shida down and she pounds the mat! Shafir fires up behind Nyla, but Shida anchors a leg. Nyla stomps Shida around, pushes her down and SENTONS! Nyla then climbs up a corner. But Shida gets up to hit the ropes and that trips Nyla up! Shida climbs, and she fires off HEADBUTT after HEADBUTT on Nyla! Fans rally and Shida brings Nyla to the very top, for a SUPER FALCON ARROW!!! Cover, Shafir helps the ropebreak!!

Fans boo as The Problem is the only reason Nyla survives! Shida can’t believe it, but she puts it together! The ref checks Nyla, Shaifr swings on Shida, but Shida blocks! Shida takes her kendo stick back to SMACK Shafir! But Nyla rolls Shida up! Shida fights it to go for a Triangle Hold, but Nyla deadlifts Shida! But Shida slips free and Nyla drops to a knee, KATANA!! Cover, SHIDA WINS!

A massive win between former AEW Women’s World Champions, and Shida is the one on top! And then the Outcasts walk out to sarcastically applaud. Toni Storm holds up the AEW Women’s World Championship, and this just in, it will all happen for Dynamite 200!! Storm VS Shida for the title, who will take AEW into the next chapter?

My Thoughts:

A really good Rampage, with some great stuff going into Dynamite 200. Opening with the battle royal was a logical move, it technically gave that match time to breathe. And I actually really like that Big Bill & Brian Cage won. Them facing whoever comes out of Collision the tag champs is awesome stuff, but at the same time, I don’t see Brian & Bill winning, they’ll just be a great defense for the champs. Great match from Komander VS Kip, especially considering this was meant to be Scorpio VS Kip. I hope Scorpio isn’t going to be out too long, he just got back. But great for Komander to win, and speaking of a great defense for the champs, Aussie Open is going to beat Komander & Vikingo. As I said for the ROH article this week, Aussie Open ain’t losing for a long time now that they’re back.

Good promo from The Kingdom though feels a touch recycled from things they’ve said on ROH TV, and is more fitting of ROH TV and not their crossover into AEW. As I’ve also said on ROH articles, The Kingdom are kinda stuck. The ROH titles are on Aussie Open, and no matter what happens tomorrow on Collision, the AEW titles are going to be on a team that’s too strong for The Kingdom. But at the same time, would be great if Cole was forced to interact with his old friends in Mike & Matt. We saw in the video package when Cole was with The Kingdom, that’d be some interesting stuff to carry this thing with Cole, MJF and even Roderick Strong into the Fall.

And a great main event from Shida VS Nyla, but they recycled the promo from Dynamite just to fill time and keep Mark Henry from doing more than his catchphrase. Shida winning was a natural move, she’s a Face and Toni’s a Heel, you still need that Face VS Heel dynamic in pro-wrestling. Shida VS Storm for the title on Dynamite 200 is going to be awesome, though, but Shida’s gonna need back-up to thwart Saraya & Ruby if she’s to have a fair chance.
