AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy VS Aaron Solo w/ Harley Cameron!

While Freshly Squeezed is joining Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo & Best Friends in Stadium Stampede at All In London, he still has to be a fighting champion! Will Cassidy have momentum going into Wembley? Or will QTV snatch up even more gold?

But of course, Harley comes out first to say this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for! She sings the theme song and Solo makes his entrance. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if Solo becomes a star!

The bell rings and fans rally for “FRESHLY SQUEEZED! FRESHLY SQUEEZED!” Solo tries to start a “Q T V!” chant but no one cares. Solo and Cassidy step forward, Cassidy raises his hands, but Solo kicks him low! Fans boo but Solo grins. Solo headlocks, but Cassidy switches it onto Solo and then hits a takeover. Cassidy grinds the hold, Solo keeps his shoulder up and fights to his feet. Solo powers through to headlock back, but Cassidy powers out to headlock and takeover again! Fans cheer while Cassidy grinds Solo down. Solo keeps his arms up, fights back to his feet and powers out, but Cassidy avoids the headlock to headlock takeover again!

Fans cheer, Cassidy pushes Solo down to a cover, ONE! Solo headscissors and laughs as he holds tight. Cassidy pushes back, hops around, and hops, and hops, and then headstands! Cassidy pops free of the headscissors, and he has Solo’s legs trapped! Then Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets! Fans cheer, Solo kicks free but things speed up. Solo hurdles, Cassidy leaps over, then no-hand arm-drags! Solo stumbles out of the ring and Cassidy kips up! Fans fire up, Cassidy stomps around, but Solo drags Cassidy out! Solo kicks low, whips, but Cassidy stops himself! Cassidy ELBOWS Solo, runs in, but Harley is a shield!

Fans boo as Harley eggs Cassidy on. Cassidy unleashes the “devastating” shin kicks! Harley says stop, but then Solo runs in! Cassidy dodges, then dodges again, and Solo almost runs into Harley! Cassidy gets in the ring, and he DIVES onto Solo! Fans fire up and Cassidy brings Solo up into the ring. Cassidy hurries up top, fans fire up, but Harley trips Cassidy! Cassidy falls into the ring, and Solo hits a HALF NELSON EXPLODER! Cover, TWO! Solo rains down fists then lets off to soak up the heat as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Harley gets Solo his mouth spray, he grins as he spritz it up, then he mocks the fans taunting him. Solo storms up to Cassidy to dig his boots in at the corner. The ref reprimands, Solo lets off, and then Solo brings Cassidy up. Solo snap suplexes, dusts off his hands, and Harley cheers. Solo paces around, brings Cassidy around and clamps on a chinlock. Cassidy endures, fans rally up, and Cassidy fights up to pry the hold open! But Solo kicks Cassidy low! Solo goes to suplex but Cassidy blocks! Cassidy goes to suplex but Solo fights it! They both fight for suplex control and Rampage returns to single picture.

Cassidy tries, Solo tries, repeat! Solo kicks the leg out! Fans boo but Solo pretends he can’t hear them. Solo runs in to forearm smash! Then he whips corner to corner, Cassidy goes up and out and ducks the haymaker to bump Solo off buckles! And then side to side for another! And then back again! Cassidy dribbles Solo off the buckle, then lets him fall back. Cassidy climbs, aims, CROSSBODY! Cassidy runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, tilt-o-whirl but Solo blocks the DDT! Solo throws Cassidy back but Cassidy ducks the screw high kick! ORANGE- NO, Solo ducks that to back suplex! Cassidy lands on his feet, Alabama Lift, but Solo fights it!

Solo has the arms underhooked but Cassidy wrenches, runs, tilt-o-whirls and- NO, Solo still fights the DDT! Suplex, into STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE! Cassidy runs, tilt-o-whirls again, DDT!! Cover, TWO!! Fans rally while Harley breathes easier. She tells Solo to get up but Cassidy rises first. Cassidy pulls off the elbow pad and fans fire up! But Harley sings to distract him! “Orange you an idiot for looking over here at meeee~!” Solo runs in to SCREW HIGH KICK! And then BACK SUPLEX DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!!! Cassidy survives and Harley is screaming into her mic now! Solo climbs up, DIVING DOUBLE STOMPS!! Cover, TWO!!!

Cassidy is still in this and Solo cannot believe it! Solo goes to ropes and he has the ref check him. Harley slides in and she takes off one of her boots! She aims, but Cassidy dodges! The ref sees Harley and she panics. Solo grabs the boot though, HIGH HEEL SHOT!! Cover, TWO!?!? Cassidy survives and Solo is shocked! Solo hurries to get Cassidy up, but Cassidy back drops! Solo sunset flips, TWO! Cassidy sits on it, TWO! ORANGE PUNCH!!! And then BEACH BREAK!!! Cover, Cassidy wins!!

Winner: Orange Cassidy, by pinfall (still AEW International Champion)

Cassidy shakes out the bad hand, he gets another win but perhaps at the cost of his own health. How much longer can Cassidy keep up this Freshly Squeezed fighting champion streak? Will he even be able to make it through Wembley’s Stadium Stampede?

Jim Ross has a sit-down interview with QT Marshall.

It as just earlier this week that Good Ol’ JR sat down with the NEW AAA Latin American Champion, and says that 20 THOUSAND fans were on hand for that show on August 12th. QT beat three other men to win this title, so congratulations on that, but now what? QT says now he gets the respect he has earned. Ever since joining AEW, people always thought QT aligned himself with others. Cody Rhodes, “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs, but in reality, they all aligned with him. But that’s not the story commentary wants to tell. JR admits to that. QT says he never complained, he just sat there with a style because he’s a professional.

But QT isn’t just a professional, he puts THE “professional” in professional wrestling. “Every aspect of this industry, I check every box. The way I wrestle, the way I walk, the way I talk, all the way down to how I handle my business behind the scenes. You’re never gonna hear about QT Marshall being unprofessional. I was taught, ‘Be a good soldier, and opportunities will arise.’ Speaking of opportunities, seems there’s this narrative that because of my relationship with Tony Khan, I get said opportunities. But if that were the case, why did I have to go to another country, why did it take management of AAA to see in me everything I’ve been saying since day one?”

QT says that yes, in front of 20 THOUSAND, he beat three of the very best wrestlers in the world, and how? By being one of the best wrestlers in the world! QT has no back-up plan. This is it. He doesn’t have a college degree, but he learned a long time ago he has a PhD in pro-wrestling: The passion, heart and determination to be one of the absolute best to ever step into this ring. “This is about me getting everything that I’ve ever wanted out of AEW. I’m not on the posters, I’m not on the trucks, I don’t even have an action figure, Jim.

“So the fact that my own mother can’t hold an action figure of her son, but yet can go online and order 150 THOUSAND Excalibur figures, literally eats me alive. So now, I’m gonna defend this AAA Latin American title with honor and prestige, starting this Friday night. And I’ll finally get the respect I’ve earned, even from you.” God’s Gift to Wrestling looks to finally be acknowledge, will he do just that tonight?

AAA Latin American Championship: QT Marshall VS Gravity!

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if QT wins respect, or loses his gold!

QT gets a mic while Johnny TV joins commentary. Fans boo but QT says, “Escucha me, por favor.” Johnny says that’s right, QT is fluent in Spanish and 16 other languages. QT continues to introduce himself en Espanol, then translates to English so fans understand HE is the Latin American Champion of AAA. And he tells Gravity, “Mucho gusto, senor. Como te llamas?” Gravity says he is Gravity, “The Astronaut of Wrestling!” Oh, English, nice! And his brother is Bandido, no? Yeah, that’s his brother. Si, Bandido is a great wrestler! Y tu, not so much. QT laughs but fans boo. QT thinks maybe, Gravity should just leave now, he doesn’t want this.

Johnny starts the “Hey hey hey” but Gravity shakes his head. Gravity says he needs this, because he needs to kick QT’s ass! Then he SLAPS QT! The bell rings and QT swings, but Gravity dodges to handspring and arm-drag! Fans fire up, Gravity runs in to go up and Arabian Press arm-drag! Then Gravity DROPKICKS QT outta the ring! Fans fire up and Gravity builds speed to FLY! Direct hit at the ramp and fans fire up more! Gravity drags QT up and into the ring, goes up, and then CROSSBODIES into a HAYMAKER! Fans boo as QT takes Gravity down! QT goes out after Gravity to then ROCK him with a forearm!

QT whips Gravity at the ring but Gravity handstands to rebound and RANA! Fans fire up, Gravity space walks on the apron, and then he FLYING- NO, QT blocks that rana to APRON BOMB! The ref checks Gravity while QT high-fives Johnny. QT holds up his belt and fans boo but Johnny applauds. The ring count is climbing, QT kisses the belt and sets it back down to roll in at 7, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

QT soaks up the heat from the fans, but the ref has him stay in the ring now. QT waits a moment and Gravity drags himself up with the apron skirt. QT goes out to push Gravity the rest of the way in, then drops an elbow! Gravity writhes, QT drops another elbow! Then he fakes a third just to step on Gravity’s face. QT mocks the fans like he can’t hear him, so that’s where Solo learned that. QT drags Gravity up but Gravity throws hands! And CHOPS! Gravity fires up, but QT kicks low! QT whips, Gravity reverses but QT handsprings to NEURALIZER KICK! Respect for that! QT smiles, covers, TWO! QT is frustrated but Gravity is hanging in there.

QT drags Gravity up, brings him around, and bumps him off buckles. QT KICKS Gravity in the back, then pulls at the mask! The ref reprimands, QT lets off, and he stalks Gravity. QT stands Gravity up, whips him to ropes and ELBOWS him down! QT soaks up more heat, all with a smile on his face. QT looms over Gravity, talks some trash on him, probably in Spanish, and Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and QT is back to soak up the heat. QT drags Gravity up, talks more trash, but Gravity CHOPS! And CHOPS! QT CHOPS back! QT drags Gravity up again, whips him to ropes, but Gravity gets around to tilt-o-whirl and arm-drag, to a cradle! TWO!! QT escapes, Gravity victory rolls him! TWO, and Gravity dodges, RANA- NO, QT blocks again! QT pops Gravity up, but Gravity uses that to hit a DESTROYER! Cover, TWO!! QT survives and Johnny is relieved. Gravity is frustrated, but fans rally up behind him as QT goes to a corner. Gravity runs in, and he clotheslines! Gravity whips corner to corner, QT reverses!

QT runs in but into BOOTS! Gravity goes up, CROSSBODIES, but QT catches him! “Sorry!” QT swings Gravity for a BACKBREAKER to COMPLETE SHOT! A lethal combination of his own, and QT mocks the space walk. QT drags Gravity up, suplexes, but Gravity RANAS! Cover, TWO!! SUPERKICK! SUPERKICK! And SUPERKICK!! Johnny doesn’t like this, but QT swings! Gravity dodges to SUPERKICK again! Gravity runs, and shoutout to his brother, 21 PLEX!! Bridging cover, TWO!!! QT escapes and Gravity cannot believe it! Johnny almost fell out of his seat! Fans rally up, Gravity hurries to his feet, and he whips.

QT reverses, to short arm LARIAT! QT snarls, he drags Gravity up, and he puts Gravity on the top rope. QT climbs up, calls his shot, and fans boo. But Gravity throws body shots! QT shifts to SUPER SNAPMARE, but Gravity lands on his feet! Gravity comes back to CHOP! Gravity CHOPS again, then climbs up after QT. QT shoves Gravity away, but Gravity UPPERCUTS! Gravity climbs, fireman’s carries, SUPER SAMOAN DROP!! Cover, TWO!!! QT survives again!! Fans cannot believe it and Gravity is beside himself! Johnny claims he had faith, QT is a strategist. But Gravity goes back up top, only for QT to run in!

Gravity leaps over QT, rolls and runs back in, but into a POP-UP DIAMOND CUTTER!! And then QT gets Gravity up, DIRT SHEET DRIVER!! Cover, QT wins!

Winner: QT Marshall, by pinfall (still AAA Latin American Champion)

Johnny celebrates with QT as he holds onto the gold. Will this help QT get respect? Or is it not about wins and losses but about attitudes and personalities?

The Dark Order speaks.

Alex Reynolds asks, “Is it really a bad thing if you do it for a good reason? For two years, we were nothing but selfless. But now, we do it for us.” John Silver says, “Death Before Dishonor really opened up a Pandora’s Box. Cuz we realized how much we really missed that violence! That anger!” And Evil Uno says, “And on that anger, we will rebuild with likeminded people. Because we’re not the bad guys! The Dark Order is coming. So be selfish. Be happy. Be Dark Order.” Will this message get new names to #JoinDarkOrder?

Luchasaurus VS Wren Jones!

Christian Cage may not be here, but his Right Hand of Destruction is still on a Rampage. And before he and Captain Charisma join Swerve Strickland in London to take on common enemy, Darby Allin, Luchasaurus looks to whet his appetite! Will Wren Jones wish someone else had drawn this match instead?

The bell rings and Wren wants Luchasaurus to take it easy. Wren then gets around Luchasaurus and ROCKS him with a right! But then Luchasaurus clamps onto Wren and throws him to a corner! Wren dodges again, runs in and UPPERCUTS! But Luchasaurus just glares at Wren. Wren runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but the BOOT still finds him! Luchasaurus wants Wren to get up, fans taunt him with “Where’s Your Title?” but Luchasaurus still clamps on with a choke grip! JURAISSIC CHOKE SLAM! But Luchasaurus isn’t done there! He drags Wren up by his hair, brings him around, and BLINDSIDE LARIATS! Cover, Luchasaurus wins!

Winner: Luchasaurus, by pinfall

This match only lasted as long as it did because Luchasaurus wanted to add on the damage! There’s also Collision tomorrow night as part of an All In All-Star 8 Man Tag, will Luchasaurus help his team make the other side extinct? And Christian Cage, holding onto the TNT Championship like it’s his, watches on backstage. Will Christian survive All In’s tag team casket match to then join Luchasaurus in Chicago for All Out?

Mark Henry welcomes us back.

“This Sunday at All In in Wembley Stadium, there will be a four-way match for the AEW Women’s World title. And there’s been enough bad blood between these four women for the last month here at AEW. But tonight, a preview as Saraya & Toni Storm team up to take on Dr. Britt Baker and world champion, Hikaru Shida. It’s TIME for the main event!” Will the Doctor and the Samurai be able to thwart the underhanded duo? Or rather, trio with Ruby Soho in her girls’ corner.

Britt Baker & Hikaru Shida VS The Outcasts!

The teams sort out and then Storm just rushes in! Shida avoids the cheap shot, ROCKS Storm in return, then Britt storms in! Saraya is right on Britt as the ref rings the bell! Shida bumps Storm off buckles then climbs up the corner to fire hands! Saraya CLUBS away on Britt, HEADBUTTS her, but Britt hits back! They brawl, are the only two left int he ring, and Britt SLINGBLADES! Then she drags Saraya up to ROCK, run, but Soho trips her up! Britt glares at Soho, but turns around into forearms! Storm takes Shida down then goes to the corner. Saraya CLUBS Britt, tells fans to shut up about DMD, and bumps Britt off buckles.

Tag to Storm and she stomps Britt. Saraya shouts for the fans to shut up, but Britt hits Storm back from below. Storm stands Britt up to CHOP! And again! And again! Storm brings Britt around, bumps her off buckles, and then UPPERCUTS! And again! Storm reels Britt in to snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Britt sits up but Storm bumps her off buckles. Storm CHOPS, then brings Britt around to put on ropes. Storm CHOKES Britt, the ref counts, and Storm lets off. Storm argues with the ref, and this allows Saraya to get knee after knee after knee in on Britt! Saraya dumps Britt to the apron, and Storm HIP ATTACKS Britt off the apron!

Storm distracts the ref again, and now Soho fires off! But here comes KRIS STATLANDER! Kris heard what Soho had to say about her on Dynamite, so she’s getting in Soho’s face! So Soho SLAPS her! Kris fireman’s carries and carries Soho away! Fans fire up as now things are 2v2! Saraya & Storm are furious, but they focus on Britt again. Storm drags Britt up and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Britt hits back from below but Storm CLUBS her down. Storm kicks Britt around, stays between her and Shida, and stands on Britt’s hand! Britt flails, Storm steps off, then she sucker punches Shida! Storm stomps Britt some more, drags her up, and bumps her off buckles. Storm tags Saraya and she stomps away on Britt. Saraya lets off at 4, then digs her boot in. Saraya stomps Britt some more, lets off to taunt Shida, and the ref now has to keep Shida from storming in, which allows Storm to CHOKE Britt! The ref gets Shida to stand down, and Saraya goes back to stomp away on Britt. Saraya digs her boots in, lets off at 4, and she stalks Britt.

Saraya brings Britt around, puts her through ropes and pulls on her in a motorcycle stretch! The ref counts, Saraya lets off and then sucker punches Shida! This distracts the ref again so that Storm can CHOKE Britt more! Storm lets off, Shida storms in, but the ref keeps her back again. Saraya KNEES Britt in the back, brings her up, and snap suplexes! Cover, TWO! Saraya drags Britt up, bumps her off buckles, then tags in Storm. Storm RAMS into Britt, RAMS her again, then lets off to bring Britt around. Storm bumps Britt off buckles, runs her corner to corner and bumps her off more buckles!

Storm digs her boot in, Saraya has snatched the Women’s World Championship from the timekeeper so she can show it off and give it a kiss. Storm flexes on Shida, goes back to Britt and ROCKS her with a forearm! Storm brings Britt around, Britt throws body shots, so Storm THROWS Britt! Tag to Saraya, and Saraya digs her boots into Britt! The ref counts, Saraya lets off at 4, and Storm brings Britt around to thrash her against a buckle! Shida protests again but it doesn’t get through to the ref. Saraya THROWS Britt out, swaggers around, but the ref keeps his eyes on Storm as Rampage returns to single picture.

Saraya again holds up the belt and she taunts Shida with it. The ref has to keep Shida back, and Saraya passes the belt to Storm so she can pose with it. Saraya goes out to CLUB Britt but Britt ROCKS Saraya back! Saraya ROCKS Britt and puts her in the ring. Saraya talks trash on the fans, storms in after Britt and drags her back. Britt kicks but Storm tags in and she throws down hands! Storm swaggers around, soaks up heat, and then stands Britt up. Britt ROCKS Storm but Storm ROCKS her back! Britt fires off a flurry but Storm knees low. Storm whips Britt but Britt hits a NECKBREAKER DROP! Fans fire up as Storm and Britt are down!

Storm and Britt crawl, Saraya tells fans to shut up about DMD! Hot tag to Shida! Shida fires off on Storm with forearms! Then she DECKS Saraya for good measure! Storm kicks low, runs, but Shida dodges to JUMP KNEE! Fans fire up with Shida and she brings Storm up, to torture rack! FLIPPING SLAM! But then Saraya runs in to kick Shida low! Saraya reels Shida in, but Shida suplexes first! Shida SLAMS Saraya onto Storm! Fans fire up, Shida covers Storm, TWO! Shida drags Storm up, Storm ROCKS Shida first! Shida ROCKS Storm back! They go shot for shot, back and forth, faster and faster!

Storm has the edge, she CHOPS, then runs but into Shida’s ENZIGURI! Britt storms in to get Storm, ripcord and ROLLING- NO, Storm gets under to GERMAN SUPLEX! Storm puts Britt in the corner, tags Saraya, but Britt isn’t legal. Saraya TOSSES Britt aside, MAKES Shida tag her, and now Saraya wants after Britt! The ref says that doesn’t count, neither had the tag rope! Saraya is furious, Britt stands up and NOW she tags in! Saraya kicks low, whips her to the corner, then runs in to KNEE! Storm just runs in corner to corner, SWEET HIP MUSIC!! And then the Outcasts coordinate, ASSISTED POWERBOMB!! Cover, Shida SHOVES Storm over to break it!

Fans fire up as Shida and Storm brawl! QUESTION MARK KICK from Shida to Storm! YAKUZA KICK from Saraya to Shida! SUPERKICK from Britt to Saraya! All four women are down and the fans are thunderous! Shida fires up, she and Storm find each other to keep on brawling! Saraya and Britt do the same! It’s back and forth between Outcasts and AEW Faithful! Shida and Storm just fire fast ‘n’ furious palm strikes while Britt gets around Saraya! Ripcord ROLLING ELBOW! SHOTEI for Storm! Shida gets Saraya up, FALCON ARROW!! Feed to Britt for the FISHERMAN SCREW!! Cover, Storm gets past Shida to break it!

Shida TOSSES Storm out, kicks her down, and Britt drags Saraya up. Britt has the glove! Fans fire up and spell it out, “D! M! D!” Britt runs but Saraya grabs the ref! Storm storms in, with the spray paint! But Shida intercepts! They fight over the can, so Storm just sprays Shida! Britt SUPERKICKS Storm! Britt checks on Shida but Shida blindly DECKS Britt!! The green paint blinded Shida, and now Saraya hits the KNIGHT CAP!! Cover, The Outcasts win!

Winners: The Outcasts, by pinfall

Shida can’t believe it, but it was partially her fault! Saraya has a big smile on her face cuz she just won the match! She picks up the belt, but then Storm also holds onto the belt. The Outcasts are both happy, but neither wants to let go of their end. They each say a win at All In is a win for them both. They both hold up the belt together, but only one can be THE champion. What happens when all four women fight for history in London?

My Thoughts:

A very good episode of Rampage here, especially as the go-home to All In. Also nice of them to make note of Windham Rotunda/Bray Wyatt passing. He was never in AEW but the world of wrestling all suffers the same loss. But that aside, great pair of title matches tonight, both involving a member of the QTV faction. Solo of course lose to Cassidy but I do appreciate that now, after a few weeks of her singing for their entrances, Harley uses her singing as a distraction during matches. Still can’t figure out what that second line is in her little song for the entrances. But then great promo from QT, and great match with Gravity that of course QT wins. Overall, yes, QT does deserve some respect from us fans. It’s just a shame QTV’s promos are parodies of TMZ, which is already cringe in itself so the parody is only cringier.

Good promo from The Dark Order but as I’ve been saying in ROH, how long are we gonna wait until new people actually do join Dark Order? Maybe during their match against Action & Darius for Collision? Anyway, Luchasaurus of course squashes Wren Jones, and of course Christian Cage is watching backstage like some wannabe overlord. The 8 Man Tag tomorrow night is gonna be great, who knows who even wins that with all the big names and… Actually, it’ll probably be Brian Cage, he isn’t actually on the All In card. And that mystery man sure isn’t losing, he’s meant to be this big surprise.

And of course, great tag match from the women’s title match contenders. Great temporary bit of overbooking where Kris Statlander takes Ruby Soho out of the equation, but that sadly means that rivalry is moving forward even though they were building to something great with Kris, Willow Nightingale, Mercedes Martinez and Diamante. But chalk that up to Tony Khan’s booking style that tends to be inconsistent. And while the match had another spray paint finish for the Outcasts to win, it was a bit clever this time around with Shida being blinded and helping Saraya take out Britt. Saraya and Storm had a good bit at the end, too, with them not quite arguing over the belt. I was hoping this match would have Saraya win to make Storm feel awkward, but this go-home math suggests Shida retains.

My Score: 8.8/10
