The Maniac made Big Bad Shaney T. Boy pass out last Saturday night, but #TAIGASTYLE wants to avenge Shane Taylor Promotions! Will Moriarty prove he can keep up with Moxley’s #DeathJitsu? Or will this be a case where Cincinnati beats Pittsburgh?

The bell rings and fans rally for Moxley as he stares Moriarty down. They circle, feel things out, knuckle lock and then Moxley shoots around to waistlock. Moriarty wrenches and wristlocks but Moxley rolls. Moxley wrenches back, Moriarty rolls and bridges, then slips through to waistlock, spin and snapmare! Moriarty talks some smack but Moxley gets up. Fans rally as Moriarty claps at Moxley. They knuckle lock again and go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength. Fans rally, Moxley powers Moriarty to a corner, then he lets off to CHOP! Moriarty bails out but Moxley waits. Shane coaches Moriarty, he steps back in, and he circles with Moxley.

The two tie up again, Moxley wrenches and wristlocks to a hammerlock, but Moriarty reaches back to headlock. Moriarty drops down, shifts to a waistlock, but Moxley stands up to cravat back! Moriarty spins free to headlock back, and fans rally. Moriarty hits a headlock takeover, talks some trash, but Moxley fights around. Moxley stands, powers up and out, but Moriarty runs him over! Things keep moving, Moxley ELBOWS Moriarty down! Moriarty bails out and fans fire up as Moxley paces around. Moriarty tells fans to shut up and Shane coaches him to stay focused. Moxley pursues now, but Shane stands in the way.

Fans fire up as Shane pie faces Moxley! The ref reprimands Shane, Moxley throws Shane’s hat away! Moxley goes back to the ring and he circles with Moriarty. They tie up, Moxley puts Moriarty on ropes, and then CHOPS! Moriarty is stinging but he shoves back. Moxley CHOPS again, fires a forearm, then another CHOP! Moxley whips, Moriarty ducks ‘n’ dodges to roll up and stack, TWO! But Moriarty keeps a leg, shifts to the chicken wing, BORDER CITY STRETCH! Moxley scrambles to the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Moriarty lets off with a grin, and he pie faces Moxley now.

Fans rally for Moxley as he storms up on Moriarty. Moriarty CHOPS but Moxley just snarls. Moxley SLAPS Moriarty, Moriarty fires a forearm! The forearms go back and forth, the fans fire up and the shots keep going! Moriarty gets the edge, then runs, but Moxley DECKS him! Fans fire up and Shane shouts at Moriarty to get up. Moxley whips Moriarty to a corner, clotheslines, then he climbs up to rain down fists, WAY past ten! Moxley even BITES Moriarty! Moriarty CLAWS at Moxley in return, but Moxley lets off. Moriarty ELBOWS Moxley, KICKS an arm, then goes up to MISSILE DROPKICK! Shane applauds and Moriarty storms up on Moxley.

Moriarty rains down fists in the corner now! Fans count and Moriarty goes all the way to nine, then lets off to deny the fans the fun. Moriarty TOSSES Moxley out, flexes, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Moriarty goes out after Moxley to BOOT him! Moriarty goes around the way, Moriarty follows and CHOPS him against railing! Then he RAMS Moxley into railing! Moxley hits back, but Moriarty throat chops! Moxley headlocks for some punches, but Moriarty drop toeholds Moxley into steel steps! Moxley writhes while Moriarty stands back up. Moriarty drags Moxley up, puts him in the ring, and Moriarty isolates an arm. Moriarty grins before he STOMPS the arm! Moriarty then mockingly applauds while Moxley clutches the elbow. Moriarty stalks Moxley to the apron and Rampage returns to single picture.

Moriarty CHOPS Moxley, ROCKS him, but Moxley CHOPS back! Moriarty fires another forearm, but Moxley fires off HEADBUTT after HEADBUTT! Moxley reels Moriarty in, but Moriarty resists the lift to wrench the bad arm! Hammerlock, then APRON STO! Moxley clutches the bad arm and Shane says that’s what you do! Stay on ’em, Moriarty! Moriarty gets in the ring and springboards, but into a kick! Moriarty fights the underhooks to clinch and BELLY2BELLY! Then ARMBAR!! Moxley endures, reaches around, but Moriarty brings him around, HALF HATCH! Moriarty twists Moxley’s arm but Moxley endures!

Moxley fights up as the fans rally, and he stomps Moriarty’s foot! And again! And again! Moriarty lets Moxley go, but then gets around, HIGH ANGLE GERMAN! Stacking cover, TWO!! Moxley survives and the fans fire up! Moriarty stands Moxley up, digs forearms in, then throws a heavy back elbow. Fans boo but Moriarty soaks it up. Moriarty goes corner to corner, but a KING KONG LARIAT hits him first! Moxley then clamps on, BULLY CHOKE!! Moriarty endures, this is the same move that put Shane out! Shane coaches him, Moriarty slips through, BORDER CITY STRETCH!! Moxley endures but the bad arm is the one caught!

Moxley powers up with the good arm, and he rolls Moriarty so he can HAMMER ‘An’ ANVIL ELBOW! But Moriarty blocks one, wrenches, MOUNTED ARMBAR! FINGER SNAP!! Moriarty’s a villain! Moxley staggers, Moriarty runs up, and Moriarty SHOTGUNS! Fans are torn as Moriarty runs again, JUMP KICK! Moriarty fires heavy hands, runs corner to corner again, and he JUMP KICKS again!! Then Moriarty reels Moxley in, suplex into THE FANG!! Cover, TWO?!?! Moriarty is shocked that Moxley survives his best shot! Moriarty snarls, “This is Awesome!” as Moriarty BUZZSAWS the bad arm!

Moriarty goes up, springboards again, but Moxley BLASTS him with a forearm!! Moxley shouts out Bryan Danielson with DRAGON STOMPS!! And then the PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Moxley is furious, he HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS away on Moriarty! Moriarty just eggs him on! So he gets a REGAL KNEE!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Moriarty survives again, but now Moxley rear mounts for more ground ‘n’ pound! Then the REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Moriarty is OUT, Moxley wins!

Backstage interview with Anna Jay and Angelo Parker.

Renee Paquette is with members of the former Jericho Appreciation Society, and notes the Queenslayer has a match tonight with Ruby Soho. It just feels like everything going on with Ruby, Saraya and Harley Cameron is putting a lot on this match. How is she feeling? Before Anna can answer, Parker speaks up. He apologizes for what happened. He wants her to know she always has his support, they’re family. But he just can’t be out there tonight, it is just too much. He is starting to put together what happened, and he has a feeling who’s really behind it all, but it’s just been eating at him for the last few weeks.

So he must ask her, to clear the air, please promise him that Anna had nothing to do with Harley’s seduction attempt. Anna SLAPS Parker, she cannot believe he asked that! After everything they’ve been through, group after group, family after family…! She is so sick and fed up with this! She was defending him against his girlfriend, but now… Now she’s doing this for her! She is so tired of having everyone else’s back and no one having hers. So tonight and going forward, it is all about her, she is DONE. Anna storms off, the X-JAS losing its true star. Is Saraya’s evil plot even more effective than she expected?

Konosuke Takeshita w/ The Don Callis Family VS Christopher Daniels!

The Alpha wanted after The Ocho, but he ended up sucker punching the Fallen Angel along the way! Now Daniels is looking to humble him for it. Will Daniels deliver that receipt? Or will Takeshita just get paid to do even more damage?

Callis joins commentary and says he’s glad Takeshita gets to show his skills against a great veteran like Daniels. But then Daniels fires off on Takeshita at the bell! Takeshita shoves Daniels away, spins, but Daniels dodge the rolling elbow to CHOP! Daniels whips, Takeshita reverses but Daniels KICKS him! Takeshita still DECKS Daniels in return! Fans boo but Takeshita looms over Daniels. Takeshita drags Daniels up to throw more shots, then whips again. Daniels reverses but the TAKESHITA LINE comes in! Callis says that was some Windham-esque flight there. Daniels goes to a corner, Takeshita runs up to forearm smash!

Takeshita snapmares Daniels, goes up the corner, and he revels in the heat as he DIVING SENTONS! Daniels sputters and flounders while fans boo. Takeshita stalks Daniels to a corner, brings him up, and puts him right up top. Takeshita climbs, brings Daniels up again, but Daniels CLUBS away on Takeshita! Daniels HEADBUTTS but Takeshita roars! Daniels HEADBUTTS again! Takeshita roars again! The fans fire up as Daniels fires HEADBUTT after HEADBUTT! Takeshita falls, Daniels adjusts, and Daniels FLYING COMPLETE SHOTS! Fans fire up as Takeshita flounders to a corner now.

Daniels runs in to forearm, then he GERMAN SUPLEXES! Takeshita staggers up, into the S T O! Fans fire up with Daniels and he wants Takeshita to rise. Takeshita staggers up, into kicks! Underhooks, but Takeshita fights Angel’s Wings to Alabama Lift, and REVERSE- NO, Daniels slips free, so Takeshita gut wrenches, tucks him, BASTARD DRIVER! Then deadlift WHEELBARROW GERMAN!! Then the POWER DRIVE KNEE!! Cover, Takeshita wins!

Another big win for The Alpha, and Kyle Fletcher helps kick Daniels out. Callis joins his “family” and has a mic so that he can say he has something to say. Fans boo but he says, “The Don Callis Family takes everything that can be taken! Chris Jericho, you took 33 years from me. 33 YEARS! I can never get those years back!” He then tells the fans to be quiet, but they just boo harder. Callis says they’ve already started taking from Jericho. They took one tag partner in the Golden Jets, Kenny Omega. Then they took out Sammy Guevara. The problem is, Jericho keeps coming back! When Hobbs broke Jericho in half, Jericho still came back.

So now, it is time to END this! So Jericho, in two weeks, Dynamite in Phoenix, The Callis Family dares you to face the REAL Alpha of pro-wrestling, Konosuke Takeshita! And this time, there will be nothing left. They will take Jericho’s career, money, cars, the house, his legacy- Kyle has Callis calm down, and then takes the mic. “Pardon the interruption, Don. But hasn’t Takeshita already had his shot at Chris Jericho? Hasn’t Will Hobbs already had his shot at Chris Jericho?” True and true. So Kyle says if ANYOEN deserves the shot at Jericho, it’s HIM! Callis likes the moxie! And yeah, he’s right!

So then, Jericho still faces Takeshita in Phoenix, but next week in New Orleans, he faces Kyle Fletcher. If Jericho’s got the guts. And in the end, whatever is left of Jericho after the next two weeks, will be Callis’! And it’ll be Hobbs’! And Takeshita’s! And Kyle’s! Then there will be nothing left but the tears! The Don Callis Family is ready to cut Jericho to ribbons, will this truly be the end of Y2J?

Backstage interview with Top Flight and Private Party.

The velvet rope is set up as Renee is with both teams, Action & The Martin brothers on one side, Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy on the other. “Gentlemen, next week, you’re going to be having a tag team rematch in New Orleans. Could be a moment of redemption for you guys (Top Flight) given the somewhat questionable victory Private Party had last week.” Quen says hold on there. Questionable? Did Private Party win? Zay confirms, yes they did. A win is a win. You feel ’em? Dante points out it seems Private Party always need ropes to save them.

Action says Dante & Darius are his #HydroHomies, and he won’t just sit back to watch Private Party pull another fast one. So Action is gonna be ringside in their corner to make sure there’s no funny business. Oh, no~, they’re so scared~! But Action points out that this to him, feels like a #HydrationSituation! Action brings out a water bottle, but Quen slaps it down! Darius steps up but security steps up! Zay tells “Cheesecake” that it’s all good. Next Wednesday is the perfect time and place for them to win again. Because when Private Party does win again, they’ll go straight to Bourbon Street to have themselves a celebration! Ruby and the ref argue, so Saraya fires off KNEE after KNEE into Anna!

TWO, and Ruby runs up to CLOBBER Anna! Cover, TWO! Ruby sits Anna up, CHOKES her on ropes again, and talks trash right in Anna’s face before she lets off. Ruby talks trash to the camera, too, then drags Anna around while Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and Anna kicks, but Ruby blocks to KNEE back! Ruby reels Anna in but Anna fights the saido! Anna CLUBS away on Ruby, but Ruby keeps her from getting away! Anna fights the lift, spins around, and DDTS! Anna crawls to the cover, TWO! Ruby survives and fans can’t believe it! Anna drags Ruby up, into the QUEENSLAYER! But Ruby backs Anna into the ropes, and Harley is there to anchor a foot! Anna lets Ruby go to kick at Harley! Anna storms out after Harley, Harley talks trash, “What’re you gonna do?” Anna DECKS Harley!! But then Saraya runs up to fire off on Anna!

Fans boo as Saraya has Anna by the arms and Harley gets up. Harley winds up, but the ref sees them! The ref EJECTS the Outcasts! The fans fire up and The Outcasts are furious! Saraya & Harley have no choice but to leave, but the fans sing “Hey hey hey~! Goodbye~!” Ruby is freaking out, but Anna hooks her up! Ruby blocks the Gory Especial, to hit DESTINATION UNKNOWN! Cover, TWO?!? Anna survives and Ruby is furious! Ruby hauls Anna up, RAMS her to a corner and hoists her up top! Ruby CHOPS, then wrenches, but Anna BOOTS! Anna BLOCKBUSTERS Ruby down!

Renee is with The Mad King, the Continental Triple Crown Champion, and says ever since winning the Continental Classic, it seems he’s earned just about everyone’s respect. Well, except for Bryan Danielson. What does Eddie have to say about Bryan’s comments? Oh, “the tree hugging, vegan-eating hippie?” Eddie tells Bryan that Bryan not respecting him is fine, because Eddie doesn’t respect Bryan. At all. Good luck with Yuji Nagata tomorrow night on Collision. See, there you go, he got the plug in. But Eddie wants to get something now. He wants to be on Collision. And speaking of respect, he’ll go to someone he does respect. Someone who deserves a shot at something, too.

Now, this match will be non-title, but of course, if you beat Eddie, you get a shot. Said person is Willie Mack. Eddie and Mack come from the independents. They’ve done this game, worked hard, paid their dues. And now Eddie is gonna give Mack an opportunity. Because unlike Bryan, Eddie isn’t afraid to fight guys he respects and don’t respect. Bryan, good luck with Nagata. Eddie’s sneer clearly shows he doesn’t mean that, but will he be able to win the challenge he just put out to Willie Mack?

Speaking of title opportunities, Orange Cassidy has always been a fighting champion, so he’s going to take on whoever comes out of this huge main event! Will it be an enemy such as Mr. Superbad or the beefy Butcher, or will it be an amigo like the AAA Cruiserweight or AAA Mega Champion, that becomes a Freshly Squeezed #1 Contender?

The bell rings and Kip draws the line in the sand as he stands with his Superbad Squad teammate. They go after los luchadores with kicks and punches! Fans fire up, Kip TOSSES Komander out then follows, while Butcher digs his boot into Vikingo. Butcher then sends Viking out so he can send him into railing! Kip stomps Komander down, Butcher digs his boots in, and the Superbad Squad meets in the ring. Kip and Butcher flex side by side, but then wonder about the other. Kip says they’ll stick together, okay? Butcher agrees, goes to fetch Vikingo, but Kip rolls him up! TWO! Butcher is upset and Kip says sorry, sorry!

But then Kip takes a swing! Butcher blocks, whips, but Kip ducks ‘n’ dodges! Kip slides under, wants Butcher to hold on, then he DUMPS Butcher out! Kip says sorry, that was all a mistake. But then Vikingo trips Kip and drags him out, to then get in alongside Komander. Komander & Viking both DIVE, to take out Kip and Butcher, respectively! Fans fire up for the champions of AAA and they get in. They agree to sportsmanship as they then speed things up. Vikingo TORNILLO RANAS Komander! Fans fire up, things keep moving, Vikingo rams Komander then runs. Komander sweeps, covers, ONE!

Komander keeps moving, he tilt-o-whirl RANAS Vikingo! Then Komander runs up, only for Vikingo to shove him down. Vikingo rolls over Komander, and both men strike the superhero pose! Fans fire up for “LUCHA! LUCHA!” Komander and Vikingo shake hands, but Butcher DOUBLE LARIATS them down! Butcher fires off on Vikingo, he DECKS Vikingo to a corner. But then Komander springboards, only for Butcher to SLAM him down! Butcher ties up the legs, and has a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF! Komander endures, reaches out, Blade coaches Butcher to keep on the hold, but Vikingo SUPERKICKS Butcher down!

Fans fire up, but Kip springboards to CLOBBER Vikingo! That wasn’t the cleanest but it was effective! Kip drags Vikingo up and fires forearms. Kip then whips corner to corner, sending Vikingo into Butcher, as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Kip wants everyone to calm down, he’s still on Butcher’s side. Butcher BOOTS Komander out of the ring and goes after him while Kip fires off on Vikingo. Butcher CHIOPS Komander against railing, Kip hooks a leg to FISHERMAN SUPLEX Vikingo! Bridging cover, TWO! Kip’s not quite perfect but that’s okay. Butcher digs his boot into Komander, Kip snapmares Vikingo and KNEES him in the back! Kip snapmares and KNEES Vikingo again, and has the arms for a motorcycle stretch! Vikingo endures, Butchder RAMS Komander into the apron! Vikingo fight sup, fights free, and CHOPS! Kip sputters, Vikingo brings him around, but Kip claws the eyes!

Butcher keeps beating up on Komander, Kip TOSSES Vikingo out, so Butcher sends Komander in. Butcher joins Kip, they make good and coordinate. Kip whips Komander in for Butcher to LARIAT! Kip gets Komander back up, and feeds him to another LARIAT! Kip and Butcher double fist-bump, then they get Komander up again. Kip feeds Komander to another LARIAT! Then he covers?! TWO!! Komander survives and Butcher has a new reason to be upset! Kip apologizes, it was a heat check. Butcher then covers, but Kip drags him off?! Kip says sorry again, just that they’re not done with Komander.

Kip stands Komander up to CHOP him, then Butcher DECKS him! Kip coordinates with Butcher, whips him in, and Butcher SPLASHES Komander! Kip digs his boots into Komander, the ref reprimands but that’s all since there are no disqualifications, and Kip calls to Butcher. Kip & Butcher drag Komander up, make him knee, and they have DOUBLE MOUNTED ARMBARS! Komander endures, Rampage returns to single picture, and the fans rally up. Kip & Butcher let off, then the send Komander into a corner. Kip whips Butcher in again, to SPLASH! Komander sits down, Kip calls his shot, CANNONBALL!

Kip drags Komander to a drop zone and Butcher goes up! VADER BOMB! Butcher skips the cover, though, he knows Kip is there. So they work together, ASSISTED GUTBUSTER! Kip covers? Butcher breaks it up, and Kip throws a haymaker! Fans boo and Butcher glares at his friend. Kip apologizes, but then Butcher hits him with a BACKBREAKER! Cover, Vikingo DIVING STOMPS it apart! Butcher is furious, but Vikingo SCREW KICKS! Vikingo goes up and up and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Butcher falls and the fans fire up! Vikingo aims from the corner, but Kip trips him up! Kip YANKS Vikingo into the POST!

Kip mocks Vikingo’s pain between his legs, then drags him up. Kip wants not end this, but Komander springboards, FLYING LARIAT DDT COMBO! Fans fire up with Komander and he whips Kip. Kip reverses, Komander handsprings over the leg sweep! Things keep moving, SPANISH FLY! Cover, TWO!! Kip survives but Komander puts him in the drop zone! Komander goes up but Vikingo trips him up! Butcher gets back in while Vikingo climbs up after Komander. Vikingo fires forearms, but then Butcher joins in! Butcher Electric Chair Lifts Vikingo but Vikingo still facelocks Komander! Kip watches and thinks what to do.

Abrahantes stops that! Kip is furious and he goes out after The Hype Man, only for Komander to go out to support his manager. Kip argues with the ref, but ends up getting the STEP-UP DESTROYER from Komander! Abrahantes goes the extra mile for his client and Komander gets Kip back up. But Vikingo is up top, to ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Direct hit on Komander and Kip, Abrahantes cheers his other client on!

Vikingo puts Komander in, climbs up again, and fans rally up. MOONSAULT into boots!! Komander saves himself, dodges Butcher, and rolls up, only for Botcher to tun rana into LIGER BOMB!! Cover, Vikingo breaks it!! The fans fire up again and Vikingo dodges Butcher to DOUBLE KICK, SCREW KICK, and then run corner to corner! Fans rally as Vikingo hits the METEORA! Komander brings Vikingo around, but Vikingo blocks the lariat to then HEEL KICK! Komander stays up, Vikingo ducks one kick but not the HEEL KICK! Both men wobble, but Komander POISON-RANAS!! But Kip is back!

Kip GERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO?!?! Kip hurries to get Komander up, suplexes, but Komander RANAS free! Cover, KOMANDER WINS!!

A split second move finishes the Freshly Squeezed Fatal 4, and wait! Here comes Cassidy! The AEW International Champion personally congratulates the AAA Cruiserweight Champion, but will he soon be congratulating Komander on becoming a double champion?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage, and Rampage is on a great stretch of actually having story things happen. Great opening match of Moxley VS Moriarty, and of course Moxley wins, but I like that they’re setting up a tag match. Sadly, I don’t see how Shane Taylor Promotions beating Blackpool Combat Club when they both lost to Moxley 1v1. I mean, STP could cheat since they’re being built as the Heels here, but otherwise, it’ll be 0-3 for them. And really good promo from Eddie Kingston to call out Bryan Danielson while making a match for Collision with Willie Mack. Mack does deserve stuff, and he will do great, but I don’t see him beating Eddie.

Really good match from Takeshita VS Daniels, but of course Takeshita wins. But really good promo from Callis and Kyle to call out Jericho and set up a couple different matches. And they might actually let Kyle beat Jericho and then Jericho still faces Takeshita so he has to run the gauntlet of sorts. I’m still hoping Paul Wight returns to help Jericho against the Don Callis Family, and then for Revolution, we get JeriShow VS Don Callis Family, one of the members being Hobbs.

Good promo from Top Flight with Private Party and Action basically debuts two catchphrases in one go. I would think with Action ringside, Top Flight wins the rematch, and then that prompts a tiebreaker for like Revolution or something. Really good promo from Parker and Anna ahead of Anna VS Ruby, and really good match out of Anna VS Ruby. Anna gets a great win out of this, and now she seems to be truly on her own. And then awesome Fatal 4 in the main event, and great win for Komander. Cassidy VS Komander is going to be great stuff, which it’ll have to be on the Collision that goes up against WWE’s Royal Rumble, but Cassidy will of course retain so he can still face Roddy at Revolution.
