The Megasus & Aussie Amazon underestimated the OG women’s tag team of AEW, and now they have to put up or shut up! Will Megan Bayne & Lena Kross make up for taking it easy last time? Or will Tay Melo & Anna Jay finish what they started?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if Divine Intervention fails!

The teams sort out, Anna starts against Lena, and the fans fire up already. The bell rings, the two step up, and Anna talks a little trash. Megan pie faces Anna, the fans boo, but Anna pie faces back! The fans cheer as Anna then wrenches, HOOK KICKS, then fires forearms! Anna whips, Megan reverses, and she RUNS Anna over! The fans are torn as things speed up, and Anna hurdles, but into a BEARHUG! Anna fires off forearms but Megan RAMS her into the corner! Megan runs up, Anna BOOTS her, and Anna fires off forearms! Anna whips, Megan blocks and reverses, then runs up, only to get buckles!

Anna runs back in, LEG LARIAT! Then a headlock for a TORANDO- NO, Megan stops the bulldog to ROCK Anna! Megan tags Lena and they hook Anna up! Tay drags Lena up and puts her in the ring, then brings her over to tag Anna. Anna fires forearms on Lena, but Lena shoves Anna away. Lena ROCKS Tay, then bails out! Anna pursues, but that leads to a trap with Megan’s BOOT! Lena says they’re too smart for Anna. Lena drags Anna up and puts her in the ring. Lena storms over, RAMS her into the corner, then RAMS her again! Lena stops as the ref counts, tags Megan, and Megan RAMS into Anna again and again! Megan stops as the ref counts, and she CHOPS! Anna toughs it out but Lena keeps on her. Lena drags Anna up, CLUBS her, but Anna fires body shots. Lena CLUBS Anna down, brings her up, then whips her to ropes. Nigel just lets Carlie Bravo bark, knowing he can’t bite. The bell rings and Shane CLOBBERS Angels! Shane ROCKS and CHOPS and talks trash, then ROCKS him again! Angels sputters, the ref counts, but Shane stands Angels up. Shane CHOPS Angels down, then talks trash again. Shane runs in at the corner, but Angels BOOTS him! And BOOTS again! Angels hobbles, bobs ‘n’ weaves, then fires hands! The fans fire up as Angels runs, redirects, then ducks ‘n’ dodges to springboard, into a HAYMAKER!!

Lee wrenches through, waistlocks, then cravats, but Moxley rolls free. The fans applaud the exchange, and the two reset again. They knuckle lock, Lee wrenches, slips around, and he wrangles Moxley. Moxley fights up, fights around, but Lee wrenches through. Moxley rolls, wrenches back, and he spins Lee to CHOP him down!

The fans applaud but Infantry says shut up! Lee is right back at Moxley, RAMS him into the corner, and STP mugs Moxley! The fans boo, tag to #BadNews&Tattoos. Carlie CHOPS Moxley, talks some smack, then JABS and CHOPS, and repeat! Moxley goes to the other corner, Carlie CHOPS, so Moxley goes to the other corner. It is a chaotic brawl as Lee keeps stomping Pac and Claudio fires return shots on Carlie! Moxley drags Dean up from the floor, CHOKES him on the barriers, and Claudio UPPERCUTS Carlie down! Moxley drags dean to ringside while the ref sorts things out. Dean fires forearms in return, but Pac sends Lee into barriers! Claudio drags Carlie from the ropes, Pac joins in, and Pac tags so the Death Riders can mug Carlie in the corner. Pac stomps Carlie, then paces. Collision returns as Dean stomps away on Pac, then stops as the ref counts. But Carlie CHOKES Pac behind the ref’s back! Christyan XO is even a platform so he can lean back! The fans boo but STP gets away with it. Dean pushes Pac to a cover, TWO! Dean KNEES Pac low, bumps him off buckles, then tags Carlie. Carlie climbs up and he rains down fists! The fans boo but Carlie still goes all the way to nine, then winds up to BITE for TEN! That’s a Death Rider move right there! Tag to Dean, and Dean lifts Carlie onto his shoulders. The fans boo, but then The Infantry spins, and as Carlie slips down, he uses that to send Dean in and RAM Pac!

Carlie then ROLLING ELBOWS! Dean goes up, FLYING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Pac toughs it out and the fans fire up! Dean drags Pac into a chinlock and he digs his knee into Pac’s back. The fans rally as Pac endures. Pac pries at the hold, fights up, and the fans chant, “We Want Moxley!” Pac JAWBREAKERS free, both men crawl, but Lee drags Pac back! Dean tags Carlie, they put Pac in the corner. Dean whips Carlie for a forearm SMASH! Carlie goes back to Dean, dosido, and a CARLIE CROSSOVER! But here comes Moxley! He fires off on everyone in STP! The ref reprimands but Moxley gets mugged! Shane says that’s what Moxley gets! But Pac is up! Lee tags in, then runs up, but Pac dodges to then SNAP GERMAN! Pac and Lee crawl, hot tags to Claudio and Carlie! Claudio LARIATS Carlie, he picks up Dean, SIDEWALK SLAM! UPPERCUT after UPPERCUT on Carlie in the corner! The ref reprimands, but Claudio jukes the ref to UPPERCUT again! Claudio fires UPPERCUT after UPPERCUT, then forearm after forearm! The ref counts, Shane protests, but Claudio finally stops at 4. Then he puts Carlie up top for a SUPER SNAPMARE!

The fans fire up as Claudio gets Carlie’s legs! Carlie grabs ropes but Claudio YANKS him back! And reels him in! But Lee jumps on for a SLEEPER! Claudio RAMS Lee into the corner, Pac tags in! Afropunk aims at Pac, but MARINA SHAFIR rushes out here! The Problem is the solution, and she BOOTS Adora down! Then she CHOPS XO! Marina pushes Carlie to a corner to get at Adora! They brawl, the fans fire up, and the ref argues about the chair! Pac defends the innocence, but this just lets the Death Riders start the Cycle of Violence on Carlie! The fans boo but Ciampa KNEES Beef in the face! Then the kneepad comes down, BARE BONES PSYCHO KNEE! Beef sputters, but Ciampa grins as he tells commentary that this is for Jericho! The Dogs love bullying and even threatening random production staff, and they sure think they’ve got a clear path to the tag titles. But something, or rather someone, from their past has come back to haunt them! Will Rock Hard Robinson get just a bit of payback for those Bullet Club days? Or will he be knocked out by 100 Proof?

The bell rings and Connors CLOBBERS Juice! Connors stomps away in the corner, stops as the ref counts, then he rips Juice’s shirt away, just to CHOKE him with it! The ref counts, Connors stops at 4, then he wipes himself with the shirt. Connors throws the shirt away to then THESZ PRESS and rain down fists! The ref reprimands, Connors stops, and Connors soaks up the heat. But Juice trips Connors and he rains down fists! The fans fire up with Juice as he lets off, and Connors goes to ropes. Juice HEADBUTTS Connors, then says this is for Schiavone! HEADBUTT! Juice whips Connors, HIP TOSSES, then scoops to SLAM!

Juice atomic drops Connors, then RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! Cover, TWO! Juice is annoyed but he waits on Connors to stand up. JAB! JAB! JAB! Connors bails out and the fans boo. Juice hits a dog stance and pretends to “mark his territory!” Connors is upset, he storms up to the apron, but Juice BLASTS him down! Juice then goes to the apron to CANNONBALL! Connors talks trash on the fans, then stalks Juice. Connors UPPERCUTS Juice, follows him around the way, and UPPERCUTS! Juice staggers away, Connors storms his way over, and Connors SMACKS Juice off the steel steps! The fans rally while Connors claps along to mock them. Connors drags Juice up, puts him in the ring, then stalks Juice. Juice crawls to a corner, but Connors grins as he ROCKS Juice, ROCKS him again, and ROCKS him again! Connors whips Juice corner to corner hard, and Juice falls to the mat! Connors flexes, the fans boo, but Connors covers, TWO! Juice stays in this while Collision goes picture in picture.

Connors complains about the count but he still stalks Juice. Connors paces, soaks up heat, but Juice rises up. Juice ROCKS Connors, ROCKS him again, then ROCKS him again! But Connors drop toeholds Juice into buckles! Juice clutches his face while Connors soaks up more heat. Connors goes back to Juice, stands him up, and CHOPS him to the corner. Connors CHOPS again, then whips corner to corner. Juice hits buckles but stays standing, only for Connors to RAM into him! Connors RAMS Juice again and again, then brings Juice out to BACKDROP! Juice flounders, but Connors builds speed to SLIDING SHOULDER TACKLE! Cover, TWO!

Juice toughs it out again but Connors stays close. Connors drags Juice into a straitjacket stretch! Juice endures, the fans rally up, and Juice fights to his feet! Juice arm-drags free to then JAB! JAB! JAB! Connors CLAWS Juice’s face! The ref reprimands, but Connors CRAVAT SMASHES Juice down! Connors catches his breath for just a moment before he clamps on with the straitjacket again. Juice is still in this but Connors mocks the fans cheering Juice on. Connors JABS, and JABS, and JABS! But that just wakes Juice up! Connors JABS again and again, but Juice fires up! Connors swings, Juice dodges and Juice RUNS Connors over! And RUNS him over again! Then ELBOWS him down for a SENTON! The fans fire up as Juice then waits on Connors. Juice JABS, CHOPS, and repeat! The fans fire up with Juice as he stops, then runs up, CANNONBALL! The fans fire up again as Juice brings Connors up for a FALLING POWERBOMB! High stack, TWO! AEW hears from the TBS Championship contenders.

And it’s time to prove it by winning the Survival of the Fittest! I will destroy you all!” But The Cosmic Killer says, “I was wrong about you (Shida). But I need to find out for myself, because there is nothing that I hate more than someone who thinks they can push me more than I am willing to push myself!

“I found out who you were, but you found out exactly who I am. And I can’t think of a better way to push myself. Survival of the Fittest is made for who I am. The scars on my body are a warning that you can’t stop Stat.” But then the Fighting Gravure Idol warns Shida, “We are not over you! If you want to try again, the Love Bomb will explode!” And Harley Cameron says, “Yes! On to shinier things! Don’t forget that The Babes of Wrath were the tag team champions when Willow won the TBS title. So if anybody’s gonna be fighting for that babe’s belt, it’s gonna be me!” Mina tells Harley that she’s already been champion in AEW, but Mina hasn’t.

So while Harley might want this, Mina NEEDS this! Harley admits, it could come down to them in the end. Mina is ready for that. Is Harley? You bet your sweet ass she is! Queen Aminata joins the chat by saying, “Did I hear someone say, ‘Survival of the Fittest?’ Then consider this African Queen as the last woman standing. I survived every single obstacle life has thrown at me, and now I have my juicy eyes set on that TBS title.” The Real Deal says she just did a Survival of the Fittest, she whooped ass, got whooped back, but her only thought was that damn, she wants to do it again! TBS, let’s get real! Who out of all these hungry contenders will make it to the end and feast on gold?

The Death Riders regroup.

Jon Moxley says STP wants to fight. Shane Taylor wants a shot at what Moxley has. He’s gone to extraordinary lengths to get it, merking young Wheeler like that. Would Moxley have done the same thing? Maybe. But he wouldn’t make that move unless he was absolutely sure. Because Shane, what happens if, when you get there, the Continental Championship match, mano y mano, you find out you are not who you think you are? Wednesday Night Dynamite, Moxley promises to give Shane exactly what he asked for. The Maniac has accepted the challenge, but will he make sure Shane regrets it?

AEW World Trios Championships: The Conglomeration VS La Faccion Ingobernable!

Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly have beaten plenty of trios already, mostly from the Don Callis Family, and they finally face a new challenge! But will The Conglomeration still be the stars of the show? Or will Rush, Dralistico y Sammy Guevara finally start taking over in AEW?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if the Word of the Day is “Freshly Squeezed” or “Tranquilo!”

The trios sort out and Cassidy steps up. Sammy polls the fans, they cheer Rush y Dralistico but boo him, so that’s reason enough for Sammy to start. The bell rings, Sammy and Cassidy circle, and the fans cheer “Freshly Squeezed! Freshly Squeezed!” Sammy spins and poses, tranquilo! Cassidy “spins” and puts his hands up, to put them in his pockets! The fans cheer but Sammy is annoyed! Sammy rushes up, Cassidy bobs ‘n’ weaves to then duck ‘n’ dodge, and Sammy hurdles, but Cassidy leaps over! Dropkicks cancel out, both men kip up, and the fans cheer! Sammy applauds, he says that was impressive. He offers a hand, or maybe a foot, to shake.

Cassidy reaches a foot out to accept, but Sammy kicks low! Sammy headlocks Cassidy while he gloats, but Cassidy powers up and out. Roddy tags in and RUNS Sammy over, then ZANMAI with Cassidy! Cover, ONE, but Roddy tags Kyle. Roddy & Kyle CHOP and KICK away on Sammy, then forearm SMASH! Tag to Cassidy, he climbs while Roddy hits the BACKBREAKER! But then Cassidy climbs down, down, and ELBOW DROPS! The fans cheer and Cassidy covers, ONE!! Sammy’s tougher than that but Cassidy brings him around to facelock. Sammy wrenches free, swings, but Cassidy ducks. Sammy POKES Cassidy in the eyes!

The fans boo but Sammy soaks up heat. Sammy KNEES Cassidy to the corner, then Rush holds Cassidy up. Sammy CHOPS Cassidy, then CHOPS again, then LFI whips Sammy in! Sammy LARIATS, Dralistico LARIATS, and Rush SPLASHES! Then uno, dos, tres, but Cassidy ducks! Rush sits him back up, uno, dos, tres, but Cassidy ducks again! Third time, and then they just stomp away on Cassidy! The fans boo, but the ref keeps The Conglomeration back. Sammy drags Cassidy to the drop zone, goes up the corner, and he smooths his mustache before he hops down to poke Cassidy in the eye! Sammy reels Cassidy in, but Cassidy BACKDROPS free!

The fans rally as Cassidy hurries, hot tag to Roddy! Roddy KNEES Sammy, BLASTS Rush, then BACKBREAKERS Sammy! And he THROWS Sammy into Dralistico! Then ANGLE SLAM on Sammy! Dralistico is back but he gets a half nelson BACKBREAKER! Roddy weaponizes Cassidy to THROW him into Dralistico! And whip him into Sammy! And tilt-o-whirl LAWN DART- NO, Rush catches Cassidy to THROW him into Roddy! And he DECKS Cassidy! Kyle BOOTS Rush, Dralistico ENZIGIRIS Kyle! Sammy goes up, up, and ARIHARA MOONSAULTS Roddy! The fans fire up while LFI has control, and Collision goes picture in picture!

Rush builds speed, but he fakes the dive so he can tranquilo! Dralistico joins in, and Sammy even lounges on the corner. LFI regroups, Rush goes out to fire off on Roddy and DECK him! Dralistico sends Cassidy into railing! Rush sends Roddy into steel steps, and Dralistico POSTS Cassidy! Then THROWS him back into railing! Sammy fetches Roddy into the ring, and Rush BITES Cassidy’s face! Sammy y Dralistico mug Roddy, even as the ref reprimands. Dralistico KICKS Roddy’s leg, then he tags in at the corner. Rush stomps Cassidy’s hand! Dralistico clamps onto Roddy with a motorcycle stretch, then runs to KNEE Roddy down! Cover, TWO, and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Rush CHOPS Roddy in a corner! LFI joins in, they whip corner to corner, then they send Dralistico in for a LARIAT! Sammy LARIATS, and Rush SPLASHES! Then snapmare and TRIPLE DROPKICK! Rush covers, but Cassidy YANKS Rush away! But Rush THROWS Cassidy out for it! The fans boo but Rush CHOPS Roddy in a corner. Rush eggs Roddy on, so Roddy turns things around to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP! Rush keeps Roddy from Kyle to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Roddy turns things around gain to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Rush still keeps Roddy from Kyle, guzels, but Roddy fires forearms! Rush fires back and the fans rally up!

Rush and Roddy fire shot after shot, then Rush HEADBUTTS! Roddy rebounds to LEAPING LARIAT! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Roddy and Rush crawl, hot tags to Kyle and Dralistico! Kyle BOOTS Dralistico, KICKS him down, then fires a strike fest! LEG SWEEP! The fans fire up again, btu Sammy JUMP KNEES! Sammy runs, but into a JUMP KNEE from Kyle! Then ELBOW BREAKER and cravat for some KNEES! Kyle snapmares hard and PENALTY KICKS! But Dralistico hits a CODE BREAK- NO, Kyle blocks to have an ANKLE LOCK!! Dralistico flails while the fans fire up! Dralistico reaches out, but Kyle drags him back!

Kyle leans on the hold, but Sammy SUPERKICKS! Kyle yoyos, but into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! But then Kyle yoyos from the bottom rope! DOUBLE LET’S KILL IT LARIATS!! Or as Nigel says on commentary, #LowKillIt! The fans fire up as Kyle crawls over to the corner, hot tag to Cassidy! Cassidy climbs, CROSSBODY on Dralistico! Tilt-o-whirl DDT for Sammy! Cassidy kips up, runs, but Dralistico bypasses, only for Cassidy to tilt-o-whirl again. But Dralistico lets him go so he can ROCK him and CODE BREAKER! Cassidy is down, Dralistico covers, TWO!! The fans fire up as Cassidy survives! Dralistico drags Cassidy up, reels him in, and suplexes, into STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE!

The fans fire up as the elbow pad comes off! But Rush SUPERMAN PUNCHES first! Rush sits Cassidy down so he can stomp away! The fans are torn as Rush then powers up! “RUSH! RUSH! RUSH!” Rush runs corner to corner, “If you mess with the bull…!” But Cassidy bails out! No horns here! The fans cheer but Rush goes out after Cassidy. But Roddy WRECKS him with a dropkick! Kyle adds a FLYING KNEE! Rush staggers, into a BARRIER BACKBREAKER and a DROPKICK! But Dralistico is up top! SUPER CROSSBODY! Down goes The Conglomeration, but then Cassidy DIVES onto Dralistico! Cassidy puts Dralistico in, pops him up, but then Sammy JUMP KNEES!

Sammy torture racks, GO TO- NO, Cassidy lands out and whips, but Sammy reverses! Dralistico GAMANGIRIS! Sammy fireman’s carries, Dralistico climbs a corner! But Cassidy slips free to shove Sammy into Dralistico! A rough landing for Dralistico, and an ORANGE PUNCH for Sammy Then a ghost pin on Dralistico, CONGLOMERATION WINS!

Kyle & Roddy help Cassidy stand up, and they celebrate this victory! Rush seethes, what will it take for him to finally taste gold in AEW? Will Conglomeration continue to conglomerate and celebrate victorious outings all through the summer?

The Dogs regroup backstage.

Finlay says The Dogs and Bang Bang Gang do have a lot of history, but quite frankly, The Dogs don’t sweat those boys right now. But Young Bucks… You have their attention. Matt & Nick walk around claiming they’re next to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, but last Finlay remembers, it wasn’t The Bucks who took matters into their own hands and took out Cope & Cage! Connors tells Finlay no, it was The Dog with the biggest stick, and the Dog with the best beer! So it looks like they have themselves a situation that they gotta fight out to figure out. So The Bucks can get their matching costumes and meet The Dogs in Cincinnati!

And in honor of the absolute beating The Dogs will give The Bucks, and for the benefit of those with flash photography, here’s their next Five Second Pose, titled, “Your Next AEW World Tag Team Champions.” Tada~! Finlay & Connors are ready for a fight, but will it be The Bucks shining at the Summer Blockbuster?

Collision returns as Lexy Nair is with Cassidy, Kyle, Roddy, and even Tomohiro Ishii, as she congratulates them on the big win tonight. But then Roppongi Vice steps in, mockingly congratulating them. Another title defense, but y’know what? Rocky has a challenge. This Wednesday Night Dynamite, you fight a RRRRRREAL Latino Man in Andrade El Idolo! A man Cassidy has never beat, and he never will. Cassidy asks, “How you know?” Did you just…?! Don’t say that! How you know? Now get out, leave. So crazy. Trent glare at Cassidy, but then kisses his new wristwatch. Cassidy says whatever, he needs to lie down.

2026 Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Opening Round: Persephone VS Hazuki!

The CMLL Women’s World Champion meets the SPARK Joshi World Champion, both of them wanting to add that Queen of Harts belt and then the AEW Women’s World Championship to their collection. But will it be the Goddess of the Underworld or the Wildheart of Stardom that moves one step closer to the crown?

The bell rings, the two circle, and they tie up. Perse waistlocks but Hazuki slips underneath and out the back. Hazuki headlocks, hits a takeover, but Perse powers back to her feet. Perse powers up but can’t power out as Hazuki holds on tight. Hazuki goes after the bad eye! The ref reprimands while Perse blinks to make sure that eye is alright. The fans rally behind Hazuki as she and Perse reset. They tie up, Perse slips around to THROW Hazuki, but Hazuki lands out. Perse shifts her grip to throw Hazuki the other way, then has the top wristlock! Hazuki endures, kips up, and she trips Perse! Hazuki wags her finger, then things speed up.

Perse drops down, hurdles, but Hazuki blows past her to then CODE- NO, Perse holds Hazuki up! Perse DUMPS Hazuk, but Hazuki sunset flips! Perse rolls through, Hazuki avoids the PK, then Hazuki steps over. Perse trips Hazuki out of La Magistrol, then she gator rolls to a bridging cover, TWO! The fans cheer the technical exchange, and Hazuki runs up on Perse. Perse fireman’s carries for a takeover and roll into a cover, TWO! Hazuki ghost pins, TWO! The two sit up and stare down, and the fans cheer as both women smile. The two reset, step up, and Perse shoves. Hazuki shoves back, then headlocks. Perse powers up and out, but Hazuki ducks the boot!

Hazuki rebounds but Perse goes Matrix to dodge! Hazuk blocks the kick, then blocks a lariat for a takedown! CROSSFACE, but Perse scrambles to the ROPEBREAK! Hazuki lets go and the fans applaud. Perse crawls but Hazuki keeps after her with forearms. Hazuki whips corner to corner, Perse goes up and over to roll, and she comes back, but into a BOOT! That was the bad eye! Hazuki sunset flips, but perse rolls through to basement DROPKICK! The fans fire up while both women are down, but Perse crawls to a cover, TWO! Perse huffs ‘n’ puffs and she rains down fists! The ref reprimands about closed fists but Perse covers, TWO!

Perse is annoyed with Hazuki but she CLUBS Hazuki down. Perse fireman’s carries, WASTELAND SLAMS, then she goes to the ropes. The fans cheer as Perse lines up a shot, but Hazuki trips Perse up in the ropes! DRAPING BACKSTABBER! And a BOOT WASH! The fans fire up with Hazuki as she has Perse on the outside! Hazuki then leaps, CROSSBODY, but Perse catches Hazuki! FALL AWAY SLAM on the floor! Perse kips up, the fans fire up, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Perse storms over to Hazuki, drags her up, and mocks the trash talk from the fans before she puts Hazuki in the ring. Perse lines up a shot, runs in, but Hazuki catches her to a takedown! CROSSFACE!! Perse flails as Hazuki pulls on the hold! Perse reaches out, fights around, but Hazuki grabs a leg! Hazuki has Perse in a reverse Bow ‘n’ Arrow of sorts! Perse still fights with her free arm, and she finds the ROPEBREAK! Hazuki lets go, flips Perse over, and covers, TWO! Perse toughs it out but Hazuki stays cool. Hazuki rains down forearms, but Perse pushes her away. Hazuki talks trash but Perse fires body shots. Hazuki CLUBS Perse down!

Hazuki feels the energy of the fans as she paces, and she brings Perse up. Hazuki ROCKS Perse, stalks her to a corner, then ROCKS her again! Hazuki KNEE SMASHES Perse, then has her in the corner. Hazuki snapmares Perse, clamps on with a chinlock, and she squeezes tight! Perse endures, fights up, and fires body shots. Perse ROCKS Hazuki with haymaker after haymaker, then winds up, only for Hazuki to snatch her again! Collision returns to single picture as Perse endures the CROSSFACE all over again! Hazuki pulls on the hold but Perse still fights! Perse rolls, covers, TWO! Hazuki runs up to BOOT Perse! And BOOT her!

Hazuki runs, but Perse blows past her, to LARIAT! The fans fire up while both women are down! Perse drags Hazuki up, CHOPS her, and CHOPS her, and CHOPS again! Perse whips, Hazuki reverses, but Perse goes Matrix to dodge! SUPERKICK! Hazuki rebounds, but into a scoop and BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Hazuki toughs it out but Perse snarls. Perse drags Hazuki up, reels her in, and Canadian Racks into the crucifix! But Hazuki slips free, shoves her away, then runs up! But Perse catches Hazuki, puts her up top, only for Hazuki to fire hands! FLYING RANA! Perse staggers up, Hazuki ELBOWS her in the corner!

The fans fire up for Hazuki as she goes to the apron, and she gets them even louder! Hazuki springboards in, MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Perse survives and surprises Hazuki! Hazuki rallies the fans, then she whips Perse. The fans cheer on “A E DUB!” for making this match possible. Hazuki blocks a boot, puts the legs in the ropes, and she DRAPING CODE BREAKERS! Perse is down and the fans fire up as Hazuki climbs! But Perse rises to SMACK her first! Perse climbs up to get Hazuki, and she SUPERPLEXES! A hard landing and both women are down again! A standing count starts, and the fans rally as it climbs.

Both women are down at 5 of 10, but Perse rolls through! She brings Hazuki up to suplex, and JACKHAMMER! Cover, TWO!! Hazuki survives and Perse is shocked! Perse snarls, reels Hazuk in, and crucifix lifts for- NO, Hazuki hits a CODE RED!! Cover, TWO!! Perse escapes, blocks a boot, and hooks Hazuki up, GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Hazuki survives and Perse is beside herself! Perse snarls as she brings Hazuki up again, lifts, but Hazuki fights free! CODE BREAKER! Then a step over, LA MAGISTROL! HAZUKI WINS!!!

Winner: Hazuki, by pinfall (advances to the next round)

Perse is shocked and frustrated, and her bad eye is still hurting! But she got caught and eliminated from the tournament! Perse still shows respect by shaking Hazuki’s hand, and the fans applaud. Hazuki will now face Mercedes Mone in eleven days in Houston! Will the Wildheart be able to survive The CEO? Or will she be able to derail the Money Train? Wait, someone attacks Persephone!! MERCEDES?! The CEO clobbered Perse with the Queen of Harts belt, but she had no reason to do so because Perse is OUT of the running! Unless, this is about the CMLL Women’s World Championship?!

Mone still clamps on the STATEMENT MAKER, sending a message to the rest of the field! The fans boo, Perse taps, but Mone just laughs as she makes Perse suffer! But then Hazuki rushes back in! Mone runs away from Hazuki, but then waits until Hazuki is checking Perse to sneak attack her! The fans boo as The CEO rains down fists on the woman she IS meeting next round! Refs and security rush out here to stop Mone! Mone holds up the Queen of Harts belt, but will she still own that belt when it’s all said and done? Or will Hazuki make sure Mone falls short of the tournament finals? Wait, Hazuki DIVES onto Mone! Hazuki’s not done with Mone as she rains down fists!

The fans fire up as Mone and Hazuki have to be separated! Mone clings to the belt now, is she learning that Hazuki isn’t one to mess with?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision here, really stuffed to the brim. Though, that kinda makes a couple of the promos here redundant. Great trios title match from Conglomeration VS LFI, great win for Conglomeration, and good stuff from RPG Vice confronting Conglomeration on behalf of Andrade. Though, even Andrade VS Cassidy seems like such a randomly put together match for Summer Blockbuster, which should be all about stories and titles, not tangential feuds that kinda sorta relate to the big stories. And then, with RPG Vice confronting Conglomeration, that makes Don Callis Family beating up on jobbers and calling out Konosuke also feel redundant. Maybe Konosuke gets involved in Cassidy VS Andrade because DCF tries to cheat that one.

Very good match from Juice VS Connors, but of course Finlay helped cheat that one. The Dogs’ promo afterward is what felt a little redundant, but I guess they have to call out Bucks for a match at Summer Blockbuster somehow. Though… Why not just do that last Wednesday when they had that promo then? I’m sure they planned ahead, but can’t they make it feel like they planned ahead? Either way, it feels like The Dogs win to get their match with Cope & Cage, which will itself be a great match. Great Women’s Tag Title match to open the show, but I figured Divine Dominion would retain somehow. I almost thought Tay was gonna snap and turn on Anna, but then that’d be one less tag team in an already sparse division, so they can’t do that.

Very good promo from six of the TBS Championship contenders, but I feel like AEW tipped their hand, because Shida, Stat, Aminata, Mina, Harley, and Zayda make a great field of six for the title match. If they’re all facing other people in the qualifiers, that’s doubling down on that. At the same time, it’d be a shame if we didn’t get more interactions from Shida and Stat, but also from Stat with her friends, Mina and Harley. Very good stuff from Ciampa beating up on poor Beef, and they might just be biding time until Forbidden Door for Jericho to come back and face Ciampa. I wonder if Jericho also brings back “The Painmaker” just for the occasion, given Ciampa is referencing a lot of Jericho’s personas and gimmicks, and that’s the only one he can’t really copy.

Great stuff with STP calling out Death Riders. Shane of course won a squash match, what a way for Alan Angels to return to AEW… Then we get a very good rematch of Moxley, Pac & Claudio VS Lee Moriarty & Infantry, and we need Adora VS Marina already. Good win for Death Riders, and good response from Shane knocking out Yuta. Moxley VS Shane will be a great Continental Championship match, but I would think Moxley wins. I also appreciate them building the Moriarty VS McGuinness feud here, maybe it’ll help get eyes on ROH since that’s where the Pure Championship will have to be defended.

And great match from Perse VS Hazuki as our main event. Given Mone attacked Perse, was the finish botched? Though, the pull-apart brawl was really well done so maybe it was all according to plan. Either way, it still feels like Mone is meant to be a finalist, maybe even back-to-back tournament winner with Willow out of the way.
