The Demand speaks.
Ricochet tells Swerve & New Level, “As I look at you three, it shows me everything that is wrong with the current state of AEW. Now you have thrown together tag teams who haven’t laid the foundation to actually call themselves teammates. When I chose Toa and I chose Kaun to have my back, I saw the future, I saw brotherhood. And no matter what anybody says, the struggles that we’ve faced only make us stronger. So together, we will enter All Out as your NEW AEW Trios Champions.” Kaun says then finally, the charade can be over! Y’all ain’t a real trios! And we all know that Swerve is not the man.
Liona adds that they’re doing those three a favor when they PUT THEM DOWN… and take back their trios championships! AHA~!
Prince Nana, Swerve & New Level walk ‘n’ talk.
Nana tells The Demand that if they wanna attack them from behind… Liona, Kaun, don’t forget who brought you into this realm, friends, and it definitely wasn’t Ricochet! But the Most Dangerous Man in AEW, “Awesome Austin” and Nana’s boy from the homeland are all gonna take you out. Austin Creed says tonight, they’ve got nothing but revenge in mind. Please believe they are walking out still with these in hand. But before that, here’s a question. Swerve teamed with Toa & Kaun, until Christian Cage paid them to beat Swerve up? Yes. And then Swerve had an arena full of people throw toilet paper at Ricochet until he got mad enough to stab Swerve with scissors? Yes.
Kofi says that was the past! Tonight is all about payback! They’re gonna go on to beat The Demand, then go on to All Out to face Hangman Page, Brody King & Bandido! But wait, now that Kofi thinks about it, is this the same Bandido whose friends Swerve beat down in a saloon? A few of ’em, yeah. And then the same Brody King that Swerve roughed up, beat down, and choked out with a steel chain? The chain broke at some point. And then Hangman, where do we even begin? Creed says in reality, before New Level showed up here in AEW, did Swerve even have friends? Swerve thinks hard on that… But then the music starts, and he says he’ll see ’em out there.
Swerve & Nana go first, and New Level is starting to understand why Swerve’s so dangerous. But will this still be Swerve’s House? Or will the trios titles be back in Demand?
AEW World Trios Championships: Swerve Strickland & The New Level VS The Demand!
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who’s really ready to go All Out!

Liona stands Creed up, tags Ricochet, and they mug Creed in the corner. Ricochet fires shots like Creed’s a boxing bag, then stops as the ref counts. But that just lets Kaun & Liona dig their boots in! Swerve protests but Ricochet digs his boot in now. The ref backs Ricochet off, but Kaun gets a shot in! The ref notices that and Kaun “apologizes.” Ricochet stands Creed up to shove him to the ropes and ROCK him in the back! Ricochet brings Creed around, but Creed rolls Ricochet up! Creed CHOPS and ROCKS, but Ricochet keeps him from Swerve & Kofi!
Creed fires hands, reaches out for his corner, repeat. But then Ricochet reels Creed into a COBRA TWIST! Ricochet taunts Creed, and we can see GOA already sneaking over to the other corner. Creed powers free of the twist, but GOA YANKS Swerve & Kofi down! The supershow returns to single picture while the fans boo The Demand. The ref reprimands but Ricochet CLUBS away on Creed. Ricochet soaks up the heat, then brings Creed up. Ricochet whips Creed to the corner but Creed BLASTS The Gates! Ricochet runs up, blocks a boot, and CHOPS! Ricochet whips, Creed tilt-o-whirls and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! The fans fire up while both men are down!
Ricochet and Creed crawl, the fans chant for “NEW! LEVEL!” but Kofi & Swerve are still down. Ricochet CLUBS Creed, whips him but Creed uses that to FLY out onto Kaun! The fans fire up with Creed as he rises, but Ricochet storms up on him. Creed ROCKS Ricochet, then HOTSHOTS Ricochet down! Creed fires up, but Liona POUNCES Creed over the desk! Liona roars, the fans boo, but now Liona aims at Kofi! Liona runs up, but into a HOUSE CALL! Swerve hits Liona, but is Liona getting right back up!? Swerve snarls as he looks at Liona egging him on. And then Ricochet FLIES over the corner and onto Swerve!
The fans boo but The Demand are bringing Ricochet to the timekeeper’s area! The Gates hoist Swerve up, Ricochet is on a railing, DEMAND DOOMSDAY to the floor! The fans boo again, the ref reprimands The Demand, but Liona fetches Creed. Liona puts Creed in, Ricochet kicks Creed around, but then Creed SUPERKICKS in return! Winners: Swerve Strickland & The New Level, by pinfall (still AEW World Trios Champions)
Credit to Liona, it took everything the champs had, but it was still enough to retain the titles! Swerve & New Level survive, but wait! The former champions and the new #1 contenders make their entrance! The fans cheer as Hangman Page, Brody King & Bandido join Swerve & New Level in the ring! Hangman has a mic to say he wanted to come out here to say congratulations. And he means it! “The trios titles, they felt important in our hands, and they feel important in your hands, too.” The fans applaud that, and Hangman says this trio is good together! Kofi, Creed, Hangman means this sincerely, he is glad they’re in AEW.
But… Hangman doesn’t think either of them realizes just who they’ve gotten involved with. The fans echo “Who? Who? Who?” Hangman asks Swerve what he’s doing. Hangman was gone for almost five months, comes back, his team wins the trios titles, and suddenly Swerve has partners? What’s Swerve doing? Creed says what Swerve is doing is teaming with the greatest tag team in pro-wrestling. The fans cheer that. Creed says what Swerve is doing is making sure these titles are THE most prestigious titles in all of pro-wrestling! And Hangman has this bad insight on Swerve. This is a changed man!
Kofi says yeah, ever since they’ve been here, Swerve’s been nothing but cool! Brody points out it’s only been three weeks. Well, still! Hangman says yeah, give it time. Give it time, and Swerve will show you who he really is. Swerve says Hangman has nerve about showing who he truly is. How many trios has Hangman abandoned now? The Young Bucks, JetSpeed, and it’s only a matter of time before he leaves Brodido behind, just like he did Swerve. Hangman does not get to decide who he is anymore. Because two years ago in Chicago, the whole world saw who Hangman truly is. And let’s face facts, Hangman is no better or different than Swerve.
Brody says despite what’s happening, on Saturday at All Out, six of the best AEW has to offer will fight to see who deserves to represent the Trios Division the way it was always intended. And they’ll also see if three weeks was long enough for them to keep the belts. What do you say, Bandido? Bandido says vamos! Those titles are the Most Wanted, and they belong to El Bueno, El Malo y El Guapo~! The fans fire up for that! But will these cowboys take it to a new level? Or will this still be whose house?
Backstage interview with Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira & “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
Renee Paquette is with the Aerial Assassin, the Crown of Fire, and the Canadian Karate Kid, and brings up Ospreay & Bailey teaming up to face Claudio Castagnoli & Gabe Kidd. Ospreay says there are not many men who would throw themselves into the line of fire when it comes to the Death Riders. And yet, to Ospreay’s surprise last Saturday, Ospreay was home in England having to watch his boys getting ambushed, when Bailey came to the rescue. They’ve got history from facing each other all over the world, a great bit of respect here, so Ospreay asked Bailey the important question the Sunday after his heroic act if he’d fancy joining The United Empire here in AEW.
Ospreay says Bailey did say he’d give it a thought and have an answer tonight. What’s Bailey say? Bailey says he saw Ospreay in Wembley have one of the greatest matches in pro-wrestling history. Bailey said that is exactly the kind of person he’d want to stand next to. Now when it comes to partners in AEW, last time didn’t end so well. But this time will be different! Let’s go! They shake and fist bump on it, and Bailey also fist bumps Akira. The United Empire has its first new member, and Akira thanks and welcomes Bailey in Italian. Bailey thanks Akira back, and Ospreay says he’s doing his best to keep Akira on English mode.
Akira says let’s kick some- Ospreay stops Akira there. Let’s not paying the fine twice. Now, does Bailey have any green gear? The team heads out, will the Empire be able to conquer the Death Riders tonight? Or will Ospreay hit a major speedbump on the road to Chicago?
Thekla speaks.
“Inside everybody, there are two b*tches. There’s the dumb b*tch, and she’s into love and happiness and kindness and…” Thekla makes cymbal crash noises and kicks high like a dancer. “And there’s a real b*tch, and she’s stronger than you, and she’s more violent than you, and she will sink her teeth into your neck and never let go. Willow, do I have to tell you which b*tch you are? But tonight, I’m actually gonna go out there with my friends and have a good time, because Thekla is for the children! And Willow, since you’re a child, too, maybe I can interest you in an autograph as well or something.
“See, tonight, I’m gonna be all nice. But on Saturday, it’s gonna get all TOXIC!” The Toxic Spider has issued a final warning, but which b*tch will win their All Out fight?
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator: Jon Moxley VS Dezmond Xavier!
Just like last Saturday, the Maniac is preparing for All Out and Will Ospreay, but is giving an opportunity at his title to a Rascal! Will Dez succeed where Zachary Wentz failed? Or will this just be more momentum for Moxley going into the world title match?
The bell rings and the fans rally up as the two stare down. Moxley and Dez circle, tie up, and Dez pushes Moxley back. But then Moxley SHOVES Dez away! The fans are torn but Dez shakes it off. Dez and Moxley reset, circle again, then they tie up. Dez slips around to headlock, but Moxley powers up to lift. Dez thrashes the hold, but Moxley rolls to cover, ONE! Dez holds on, Moxley fights up, and Moxley powers up and out to RUN Dez over! Moxley runs, but Dez trips him! Moxley stands up while Dez smirks. Dez then dodges Moxley, rolls back and SWINGING RANAS! Dez BOOTS Moxley, then RANAS! Moxley tumbles out of the ring and the fans cheer. Dez PLANCHAS, but Moxley rolls into the ring! Dez lands on his feet, RAMS into Moxley, then slingshots up and over. Dez rolls, runs up, but Moxley BOOTS him down!
Moxley paces around while Dez flounders, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Dez comes back with more shots, Moxley rolls into the ring, and he catches Dez on the way in! Moxley scoops to SLAM Dez, then he gets the legs. Moxley steps through to stomp Dez in the gut! Moxley then turns Dez over with a leg for a HALF CRAB! Moxley digs his knee in Dez’s back while Dez endures.
Dez fights around, reaches out, but Moxley grabs the arm to bend the fingers! Dez endures, even as Moxley pushes the arm down. Moxley steps on the arm, soaks up some heat, then STOMPS the arm! Dez scrambles away to a corner but Moxley stalks him. Moxley brings Dez up, Dez fires body shots, but Moxley just eggs him on. Dez fires shot after shot but Moxley HEADBUTTS in return! Moxley climbs up in the corner to rain down fists! The supershow returns to single picture as Moxley goes past TEN to about FIFTEEN! Moxley then reels Dez in, but Dez resists the lift! The Maniac checks off another name, and now he rolls on towards All Out. Will nothing stop Moxley from taking the AEW World Championship hostage again?
Backstage interview with Darby Allin & Steven Borden.
Renee Paquette is with The Relentless One & The Son of Sting and brings up this Saturday, they have a huge opportunity to become #1 contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championships. But ahead of that, someone wants to speak to them. In steps Adam Copeland! The Rated R Superstar says he told Christian Cage to sit it out so things don’t get volatile. Cope knows they know how much he cares about them and respects them. Darby has had Cope’s back since day one, and Borden is gonna be massive in this industry. And Cope wants to thank them for helping out last week. But Cope also watched Collision…
After they won their match, Darby & Borden got on the mic to say they want to challenge the tag team champions should they beat Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight. Cope isn’t sure if they noticed, but he’s one half of those champs. So as much as he knows Borden is going to be massive in reaching for the stars, but he’s reaching a bit past that and is going after legends now. Maybe ask your dad what that means. And as for Darby… Cope knows Darby knows about climbing mountains. Darby climbed Mount Everest! But coming after Cope & Cage, that’s like climbing two Everests. Darby says just stop. There is so much he’d love to say to Cope, but for right now, with all due respect, challenge accepted.
Cope smirks, then sighs, and says be careful what you wish for. Cope heads out, but is he the one looking too far ahead with the ladder match looming?
The Young Bucks are here!
The fans cheer as Matt & Nick Jackson head to the ring, walking past a ladder on the stage, and then go to the ring, where there are more ladders, a table, and some chairs! But then FTR & Stokely make their entrance to join The Bucks in the ring. Dax Harwood talks trash on a kid, then he and Cash step into the ring. Now Cope makes his entrance! And yes, Christian Cage also makes his entrance! Stokely has the mic and he says, “Alright, alright, alright, alright… We have nothing left to say. The only reason we’re here is so that we don’t get fined by the ‘greatest boss in the world,’ Tony Khan. So wrap this s*it up, I’ve got things to do!”
Matt wants to get this right. Stoke & FTR have nothing to say? Nothing to contribute? Well, that adds up, actually, because when it comes to this match on Saturday, let’s just say FTR are the Dudley Boys. FTR tries to brush that off while the fans like the burn, but Nick says relax, because while FTR has nothing to say, The Bucks actually do. They’ve had multiple opportunities to win the titles back, and they failed. FTR beat The Bucks at Revolution, Cope & Cage beat The Bucks at All In. They may be the Young Bucks, but they’re not getting any younger, and they get that. So this might be their last opportunity to win the titles back.
The Bucks will face reality. If this IS their last opportunity, then they’re gonna fight like hell to become the first-ever FOUR-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions! The fans like the sound of that. Christian says he’ll put their mind at ease. This WILL be their last opportunity. And it’s really starting to piss him off hearing these four argue about being the first-ever four-time champions, when the fact is that Cage & Cope are one-time champions, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay! The fans also like the sound of that. Christian says there’s no denying FTR and The Bucks are both great teams, but the thing is, Cage & Cope are generational!
Now, there’s a little ritual Christian likes to do before big matches. And since he’s already done FTR’s moms… He is looking forward to meeting The Bucks’ mom this weekend! Cope says enough, dude! Enough! Christian has issues. But Cope will cut to the chase: He is also sick about the four-time champion talk, and how it completely disregards the LEGENDS that stand in front of them! Between the two of them, they have been in over 40–that’s right, count ’em, FORTY GADDAMN LADDER MATCHES!! So what exactly can The Bucks do, and what can FTR do, that hasn’t already been done to them? Yet they’re both still here!
Cope & Cage have made some damn good careers jumping off of ladders, kid! Matt says no, to be fair, everything Cope just said is true. If this were 1999. The last time Cope jumped off of something high, he crippled himself for almost a year! Cope gets heated, Cage is also heated, FTR likes seeing this, but then Dax says as much as he wants to see them fight- Everyone throws hands on FTR!! The fans cheer as C&C beat down Dax, The Bucks TOSS Cash, and then Bucks shove C&C! So they all start throwing hands! The fans cheer, and then The Bucks DOUBLE SUPERKICK! The fans are torn, but The Bucks then go after FTR on the outside!
Matt CLUBS Cash down, and he has Nick bring a ladder over! Matt then scoops Cash while Nick climbs, and the fans like where this is going! But security rushes out here to stop all the chaos! The fans boo and chant, “Let Them Fight!” Matt SUPERKICKS one of the guards! Nick SUPER CROSSBODIES onto the rest! The fans fire up as Matt then SUPERKICKS the one left standing! FTR DOUBLE POWERBOMB another guy down through a table! But then Cope & Cage stalk Stokely with chairs! Big Stoke doesn’t realize it until he turns around! Stoke freaks out, but security stops C&C! So they get the chair shots instead!
The fans fire up as Christian SLAMS the one guy down, and oh no, he puts him on top of a chair! Cope says this is a message for Bucks and FTR! CON-CHAIR-TO to the rando!! Hopefully he has hazard pay… But will nothing stop Cope & Cage from going Rated R in Chicago? Or will history be made one way or another?
Backstage interview with Willow Nightingale.
Renee is with the Babe with the Power and brings up her #1 contender’s match with Thekla. Going back to All In, Willow unfortunately lost the Women’s World Championship, but she had such an incredible match, and with a broken hand no less! How is she holding up? Willow says the hand is better, but she won’t make excuses for All In. She and Mercedes Mone are now 2-2 all time, and they gave it their all. They beat the hell outta each other! And there’s nothing Willow wants more than to settle the score. But that means getting through Thekla.
So, Thekla… You can talk all you want, say what you wanna say, but listen. Last time, they wrestled for the title, and Willow hadn’t even been world champion yet, and she still beat Thekla. So now, this is a version of Willow who has tasted glory. And you don’t know how dangerous that can be. So Thekla, see you Saturday. Willow smiles, but will she have her ticket back to the top? Or will Thekla have the last laugh?
Tommaso Ciampa VS Jake Doyle w/ Don Callis!
The Psycho Killer has lit a fire under The Rainmaker, and Kazuchika Okada is ready to go All Out against him in Chicago. However, Callis is looking for an injur- er, uh, insurance policy for that match. Will #DangerousDoyle do that dirty work? Or will Ciampa chew him up and spit him out?
The bell rings, Doyle rushes up, but Ciampa dodges to fire fast hands and some stomps! The fans cheer, the ref counts, and Ciampa backs off at 4. Callis joins commentary while the fans cheer Ciampa. Callis insists Doyle’s the one sending a message tonight as Ciampa headlocks him. Doyle powers up and out, but Ciampa ducks ‘n’ dodges, and Ciampa LEAPING LARIATS! The fans fire up as Ciampa TOSSES Doyle out, then hurries to KNEE Doyle down! The fans fire up with Ciampa again as he flexes. Ciampa goes outside after Doyle, drags him up, and puts him back in the ring. The fans rally as Ciampa takes the kneepad down!
Ciampa runs up, but Doyle BODY CHECKS him! Callis says, “What an animal!” The fans boo but Doyle sits Ciampa up, just to SMACK him off the mat! Doyle then stands Ciampa up, just to THROW him down by his head! The fans boo but Callis applauds. Doyle whips Ciampa to a corner hard, and Ciampa bails out of the ring. Doyle pursues, Callis says “do it now.” Doyle drags Ciampa up, reels him in, and lifts, only for Ciampa to slip free! Doyle pursues again, but ends up in WILLOW’S BELL! Ciampa then BOOTS Doyle down, and the fans rally up again. Ciampa goes out, runs up on Doyle, and CHOPS! Ciampa fires haymakers while the fans cheer!
Ciampa backs up, runs back in, PSYCHO KNEE against railing! The fans fire up again, and Ciampa refreshes the count. Ciampa taunts Callis with a wave before he runs back in. But Doyle catches Ciampa with a guzel! FLAPJACK off the chair! Ciampa is down and writhing while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Doyle checks his chin while he stumbles his way over to Ciampa. Doyle drags Ciampa up and into the ring, covers, TWO! Ciampa is tougher than that, but Doyle has him on the ropes. Doyle CHOKES Ciampa, but backs off as the ref counts 4. Doyle soaks up more heat while he waits on Ciampa. Ciampa sits up but Doyle stomps him down. The Aerial Assassin uses Claudio’s momentum against him, and now Ospreay has momentum going into All Out! Ospreay and Bailey celebrate their first win as teammates in the Empire, then Ospreay gets the mic. Ospreay has them cut his music, and he says, “What’s going on, guys? How we all doing?” The fans cheer, and Ospreay says he looks around the arena, and he can’t help but be grateful. Grateful for all the fans, and grateful because once upon a time, this place did not exist. And it is because of all the boys ‘n’ girls in the back, and all the fans in the crowd that they are here today! And Ospreay can’t help but tell us how honored he is to be their world champion.
The fans cheer, and Ospreay says for as long as AEW has been alive, so has Jon Moxley. Moxley, Ospreay wants to say something to you. “Thank you.” The fans are a bit surprised but they applaud as Ospreay thanks Moxley for the guidance, for being AEW’s Ace, and for breaking Ospreay. Because of that, Ospreay is the man he is today. Moxley’s history has been well-documented. The good, the bad, the battles, the victories, the mind games, the warfare. The one thing Ospreay learned from Moxley that will stick with him is that this world title is what it’s all about! Ospreay risked his life for this! Not the leather and gold, but what it represents!
This represents what AEW is all about, and Ospreay is here to attack for the next generation, bruv! Moxley leaves with the Death Riders, and only 72 hours remain. Will Ospreay finally overcome Moxley? Or will The Maniac be the Ace of AEW then, now, and forever?
Jack Perry speaks.
He shoves spare piping in frustration. He then turns around to face the camera to say, “Last week, I called out Samoa Joe. Who apparently doesn’t know how to speak for himself anymore, because instead, what I got was The Opps telling me that before I could even talk to Joe, I would have to get through Shibata. I said I wanted to face the best to become the best. I said that I wanted to walk among the killers. Well, there is no more of a killer anywhere in the world than Shibata. So before I can climb the mountain that is Samoa Joe, I will have to scratch and claw and survive Shibata.” Jungle Jack smiles, but is he ready to go All Out with The Wrestler in the Tailgate Brawl?
Renee Paquette is on stage.
And she says, “Ahead of their Street Fight this Saturday in Chicago for All Out, it is now time for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship face-to-face. Please welcome the challengers, Divine Dominion.” Megan Bayne & Lena Kross make their way on stage, and Renee says, “And now please welcome the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, The Brawling Birds.” The fans cheer as Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter now walk out on stage, shining up the belts around their waists. But then Megan & Lena call to the ring crew, and they bring out a table, and a spot of tea! Windsor & Hayter are actually excited to see that.
Renee asks what Divine Dominion is up to with all this. Megan says this is from them as a gift. Lena asks if this is not what The Birds wanted: To be catered to. Do they not want what all the people want? For them to pretend The Birds are special? Because no matter how hard they fight, no matter how undefeated they may be, The Birds do not deserve those tag team championships! And “undefeated” is a stretch! Because Divine Dominion have beaten The Birds 1v1. And this Saturday, without any rules, Divine Dominion will beat them within an inch of their lives! So please, have a cup o’ tea before it all comes crumbling down.
Windsor & Hayter do indeed pick up their cups, and Renee says perhaps a word from The Birds. Windsor says there’s nothing they need to say. Hayter says here, have some tea. They sip, and Windsor says may the best team win. Then Hayter SMASHES the teapot on Megan’s head while Windsor SPLASHES Lena with tea! The fans fire up as the Brawling Birds indeed start brawling with Divine Dominion! Lena ROCKS Windsor, Megan KNEES Hayter! Lena SMACKS Windsor off the table, then Megan THROWS Hayter over it! Megan mockingly says, “May the best team win!” Then Divine Dominion gets The Birds up, for double scoop SLAMS on the ramp!
The fans boo as Megan & Lena stand tall. But will The Megasus & Aussie Amazon take the gold back? Or will they regret trying to add insult to injury?
AEW shares footage from after last week’s Dynamite.
The Conglomeration regrouped and sat down backstage, and Kyle O’Reilly asked if the others were alright. Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy are both a bit frustrated. But Kyle is confident they’ll get back on their feet and get ’em next time. But Roddy shouts “NO!” He’s done with this s*it! Get ’em next time!? Look! He’s tried to do it their way! He’s tried to wake up and be a good guy, be happy for people who are achieving what they can achieve! Roddy can’t do that anymore! That doesn’t work for him! They are champions! WORLD CHAMPIONS! And look at them! He’s supposed to be happy for them?! F THAT! He can’t do this anymore!
Roddy storms off, and The Conglomeration looks to be on the rocks again. Can they find a way to turn things around? Or is this the end of their story?
Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight w/ Don Callis VS The Outrunners!
Tonight, Fletcher & Knight are tuning up for their #1 contenders match at All Out against Darby Allin & Steve Borden. However, are they going to get more than they bargained for from Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd? Or will the Youngest Men Alive have a hard time keeping up with the #ProtoJet?

Truth uses that to BLAST Kyle! Knight runs up but Truth TOSSES him out! The fans fire up again, but here comes Kyle! Truth DUMPS Kyle right back out! Truth crawls, but Knight slides in! Only for Truth to BACKDROP him away! Hot tag to Turbo! Kyle hurries to tag in, but Turbo still rallies with big haymakers! Scoop and SLAM for Knight! Scoop and SLAM for Kyle! The fans fire up with Turbo and Truth joins in! They SPLASH ProtoJet in the corners!

Cover, ProtoJet wins!
Winners: Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight, by pinfall
The Outrunners tried, but they could not defeat this dynamic duo. Renee Paquette steps in for an interview, congratulating Kyle & Kevin on the win. Do they feel this momentum will carry onto Saturday and their #1 contenders match? Kyle takes the mic and says thanks, they’ve got it from here. Renee leaves, and Kyle says, “Fishers, Indiana! Say my full naaame~! Now, Darby Allin & Steven Borden… You talk about running into the fire. Well the issue with that is, you are going to get burned sooner or later. And for you guys, that happens this Saturday at All Out! And I will say, Don, at first, I did not like this man.
“However, as you can see, we are working together as a well-oiled machine! Or, or… a family!” Callis loves that! Kyle continues by saying that whether they’re on the same page or not, this Saturday will be a cake walk! Too easy for 2Fly and the Protostar, because they will become the #1 contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championships! But wait, here come Darby Allin & Steven Borden! But wait, RPG Vice is waiting in the wings! So where are Darby & Steve? Kyle demands the two come out here! But then Darby shouts at Kevin & Kyle from wait up in the rafters! Darby & Steve are there, and Darby says they ain’t running, they’re just waiting until All Out.
What, do you think they’re stupid? They’re gonna run down and get jumped by all 50 members of the Don Callis Family? No, no, no. Didn’t Kevin learn the lesson from the last time? Because Darby sure did. Darby holds up the TNT Championship. Knight says hell nah! Everyone knows the only reason Darby walked outta All in with Knight’s title is because Darby & The Borden Bunch had to jump him. But Knight gets it, we’re playing but Darby’s rules. But come Saturday, they’ll be playing by his and the flamingo’s rules! The fans chant “Flamingo! Flamingo!” but Knight says let him talk.
Because while Knight and Kyle are each multiple-time champions… Darby’s just got a little rookie! So Knight said it once, they’ll say it again: Saturday will be nothing but a cake walk! Darby asks why they keep calling it that. Darby & Steve aren’t overlooking ProtoJet. Is it because this is Steve’s third match? It must be really humbling when you lose to this rookie, Kevin, Kyle, just don’t call it an upset. The Relentless One & Son of Sting are ready, but will they ground the ProtoJet? Or will Knight & Kyle be flying towards those tag titles?
Chris Jericho is here!
The fans fire up and sing along with Judas as Y2J makes his way to the ring. Jericho grabs a mic and thanks Indianapolis for the welcome. Jericho says last week, he beat The Prodigy, Nick Wayne, clean in the middle of the ring. Then afterwards, Nick kicked Jericho in the plums. Yeah, he didn’t like that. But what Jericho did like is that Nick took advantage of an opportunity and made it work. So Jericho will give Nick another opportunity here and not to stand here in this ring, toe-to-toe, face-to-face, with Jericho, right here tonight! The fans cheer as Jericho tells Nick to get his “mealy mouthed ass down here.”
The music hits, and Nick struts his way out in an all black suit. Nick gets a mic on the way, but reconsiders stepping into the ring. Jericho asks if Nick’s scared he’s gonna kick the rope like Nick did. He won’t, he just wants a couple words. Nick says actually, this is called him having a brain. Nick watches Jericho as he steps inside, and he says he’s a pretty smart guy. He’s also a damn good looking one, too. That’s why every chick in this place swipes right. Right, Indy? Yeah! They would, they would, but no, please, continue on how all he wants to do is talk. Because Nick doesn’t believe him. Everyone who has ever trusted Jericho has ended up with a knife in their back.
Jericho admits, fair point. And he said he’s not mad at Nick. Nick took advantage of an opportunity. It may’ve been a cheap shot, but sometimes that’s what you gotta do to get to the top and become a world champion. Hell, Jericho’s done it many times. He might even do it now! Nick reacts to the feint! Jericho smiles and says see, almost got him. But why so animosity, Nick? They started in the business the same way: First match as teenagers; traveled the world at a young age; made their marks in NJPW Best of the Super Juniors (fans applaud); and like Jericho used to be, Nick’s an egotistical SOB. And that’s okay.
But here’s a story. Does Nick know who Nick Bockwinkel is? Nick says duh, of course he does, dumbass! Okay, douchebag, just wanted to make sure he knew. The fans chant “Douchebag!” at Nick. Jericho says he just wanted to make sure he knew about Nick Bockwinkel, a legend, a world champion, one of the all-time greats. Jericho had the fortune to be on the same show as Bockwinkel once. Jericho was just 21 in Winnepeg, and he asked Bockwinkel to watch his match and give him some advice. Bockwinkel agreed, and so after the match, Bockwinkel told Jericho that he moves too fast, and does too many moves.
Now, Jericho looked at Bockwinkel, thanked him, but then the moment Bockwinkel turned away, Jericho thought to himself, “What the hell would he know?!” Some multiple-time world champion with decades more experience, and yet Jericho thought he knew better. But what if Jericho had listened? Would he have been a world champion that much quicker? Would he have been a better wrestler that much faster? Jericho asked himself those questions: What would’ve happened if he wasn’t such an arrogant prick? Oh, is that what Jericho is calling Nick? Well, if the necklace fits… Nick says yeah, okay, cute.
But here’s something Jericho needs to understand: This isn’t about the necklace, it never was! IT’s the fact Jericho beat Nick! Despite all of Jericho’s wisdom and knowledge, Nick lost and that’s something that should never have happened! And it’ll never happen again. Jericho really thinks he has something to teach Nick? Pro-wrestling is all Nick’s ever known. He’s a third-generation star, started training at nine years old, and he went on to debut at 12! He made a name for himself all over the damn world! Internationally perfecting his craft! All he’s ever known is how to be a professional wrestler.
And if there’s anything that last week, Jericho even remotely taught him, it’s that Nick might have to change who and what he is to beat Chris Jericho. And Nick can prove that. If Jericho accepts Nick’s invite to AEW Grand Slam: France, they can do this one more time, and may the best man… Or perhaps, the one who knows more… win. Nick offers a handshake, Jericho accepts, and Jericho says, “The man who knows more…?” Jericho pulls Nick in! “You’re not a man yet, Nick. You’re still a kid who’s gonna get the SH*T kicked outta him by Chris Jericho, again! See you in Paris, kid.” Jericho lets Nick go, but who will prove they are le meilleur (the best)?
Backstage interview with Hyan.
Renee is with the Renaissance Woman and says earlier tonight was clearly not the outcome she was looking for against Persephone. Hyan says no, it was not. But Britt & Persephone took out Hyan’s friend and tag partner, Maya World. And then Britt has the nerve to sit on commentary and say Hyan’s “just a tag team wrestler.” Okay, well, if she’s just a tag team wrestler, let’s introduce Hyan’s new partner! Thunder Rosa steps in! She hopes Britt & Perse remember her. If not, she was the one who left Britt in a pool of her own blood before. They may’ve run away from Rosa during Rebel Heart, but Rosa knows where Britt’s gonna be next week: Pittsburgh! In her casa!
So Britt and her new friend of convenience, Perse, Hyan & Rosa are gonna remind you why you’ll never, ever, ever forget who La Mera Mera is. It’ll be the best, and the worst thing, to ever happen to you. Rosa & Hyan are ready, but will they have their revenge? Or will The Doctor & The Double Champion stand tall in Steel City?
Mercedes Mone is here!
She has bedazzled her medical face mask to match her outfit, and though not medically cleared to compete for All Out, she joins commentary to watch this next match. Will the Violent Little Thing or the One True African Queen take on step closer to their own championship opportunity?

The fans cheer Willow, and Mone stands on the desk to remind us all that this is all about her title. But will Willow wipe the floor with Thekla before getting her second chance at Mone? Or will Thekla leave Chicago with a ticket to WrestleDream?
Britt Baker & Persephone speak.
The Doctor says of course Perse won! Perse agrees, of course she won, because she’s so good. Britt agrees, and adds that she’s so good. Perse agrees, and then they agree that they’re both so good! But Rosa & Hyan are so dumb for challenging them to a tag match in Pittsburgh, aka #Brittsburgh! Rosa just cannot keep Britt’s name outta her mouth, so let’s wrap this up and add both names to the resume. Challenge accepted! Perse tells Britt that before Wednesday, Saturday in Chicago, the fighting champion that is so humble and honorable, she dares anyone to come and take her pretty little baby TBS title from her.
Well, anyone except pathetic Hyan, Rosa, or Maya. Not that Maya can compete anyway! Anyone else, because the others have lost time and again. They can bask in their failures while Perse & Britt wait for someone to go All Out. But will the Goddess of the Underworld get caught off guard? Or will she still be Perse Dos Belts?

This may be happening in “overtime,” but The Death Riders and Collision Cowboys are just getting their pregame on before the Tailgate Brawl! But will The Bastard be leading the charge going into his AEW National Championship match? Or will this main event be Inevitable?

Andrade CLOBBERS Pac, fires off hands, and the fans chant “How You Know!” Andrade chases Pac into the crowd, throws him into trash cans and railing, and it is just chaos around ringside! Will this all continue right into All Out this Saturday?
My Thoughts:
A great three hour go-home to All Out, with some great last minute additions to the card. Very good TBS Championship match from Perse VS Hyan, but I figured Perse would win. Good promo from Hyan & Rosa to call out Britt & Perse, and good promo from Britt & Perse in response. The TBS title being on the line in an open challenge for All Out is intriguing, and this could be quite the surprise. That tag match for Pittsburgh will be really good, too. Good match from Aminata VS Skye, good win for Aminata, and good brawl with Willow running the Triangle off. Hard to say how the go-home math factors there, but I’m still thinking a Mone VS Thekla feud is the direction they go with.
Good promo from Conglomeration to establish Roddy’s back on the outs with the group, but still not sure where this leads. Good promo from Jericho and Nick Wayne, but the pacing dragged it down, Jericho didn’t make his point quickly or succinctly. Good promo from Cope putting Darby & Borden on notice, then a pretty good “summit” promo where Cope & Cage, The Bucks, and FTR all were out there, and of course it turned into a brawl. Things are still pretty even between all teams, but I suppose with C&C standing tall, there’s half a chance one of the other teams makes good on the promise of four-time tag champs.
Very good promos from before the Trios Championship match, especially with The New Level coming to terms with just how far Swerve is willing to go. Great match but I figured Swerve & New Level would win, because just as we saw in the promo after the match, there is a lot to use in having Swerve VS Hangman play out within the trios title match. No idea who wins, but this could be a show stealer match. Ciampa VS Okada could also be that, we got a good win from Ciampa over Doyle, and good promos from Ciampa and Okada after. It’d be rather wild if, after Okada took the International Championship off Kyle, he loses it and now it’s outside the family.
Speaking of the family, of course Kyle & Knight won tonight, but I have a feeling Darby & Borden win at All Out. Cope talked to them, for one, referencing all the history there is between Cope, Darby, and Sting. And of course, Christian Cage can pester Borden over living up to his dad’s legacy. And great stuff from the overall Death Riders story tonight. Moxley of course built momentum in his match with Dez, and great to see Bailey is joining the Empire. Great match with Claudio & Gabe to give Ospreay momentum, and very good promo to close Dynamite. Pac VS Ace being the Collision main event was good stuff for them, that was a very good match, but I figured Pac would win. Andrade joining in on the final brawl was good stuff, the math is all even, and I would think Andrade retains.
My Score: 8.9/10
