The teams sort out and Lena runs up! Julia dodges, KICKS a leg, then fires forearms. Julia grins, but Lena guzels! Lena says you don’t laugh at her! But Julia slips free, runs, and tilt-o-whirls, only for Lena to stop that! BACKBREAKER! The fans cheer as Lena stands Julia up again, but Julia ducks the lariat! Julia whips but Lena blocks, and she TOSSES Julia to a corner. Julia dodges, runs up and tries again, tilt-o-whirl RANA! The fans fire up as Julia then tags Skye! With Roppongi Vice accompanying them, Jake Doyle, Josh Alexander & Wardlow are looking to have some fun flexing their many muscles. Will they even get a proper warmup from the three men put in front of them?

The Walking Weapon goes to the ring alone as the bell rings, and he DECKS Rhys! Then he SHOVES Breeze into Papi, GERMAN SUPLEXES Breeze and LARIATS Papi up and out! Jake RUNS Papi over! Alexander TOSSES Breeze so Jake can DECK him! Then Alexander runs up on Rhys. Rhys puts Alexander on the apron but Jake RAMS into him! Jake sends Rhys to Alexander for a scoop and APRON POWERSLAM! Then Alexander runs to BODY CHECK Rhys off the apron! Alexander puts Rhys back in for Wardlow, and the fans all cheer as the straps come down, then go back up. Wardlow doesn’t even feel he needs full power for this!

Wardlow scares Rhys, and keeps him from running by pulling hair. Rhys fires off CHOP after CHOP, but it’s futile! Rhys accepts it, and Wardlow LARIATS Rhys down! It’s the feud that never ends! Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong may not be pals with Jay White & The Gunns, but they all dislike Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, Gabe Kidd, David Finlay & Clark Connors. So therefore, the enemies of our enemies being our friends, can Conglomeration & Collision Cowboys coexist? Or will these “Death Dogs” chew them up and spit them out?

The teams sort out and Roddy starts against Connors. The fans rally as the two circle, and they tie up. Connors kicks low, CLUBS Roddy, then CHOPS! The fans “WOO~” but Roddy CHOPS in return! The fans “WOO~” again, Roddy CHOPS again, and again, then tags Cassidy. They bring Connors around to DOUBLE SUPLEX! Cassidy kicks Finlay, Austin Gunn joins in, they DOUBLE SUPLEX! Cassidy kicks Gabe, Colten and Cassidy DOUBLE SUPLEX! Cassidy kicks Yuta, White joins in, DOUBLE SUPLEX! And yes, Garcia tries, Cassidy kicks him and calls for Roddy. The fans cheer, and Claudio picks up speed again at FORTY!! The fact Cassidy hasn’t passed out or thrown up is impressive in itself as Claudio finally THROWS him at FIFTY!! The Death Dogs have control as Tailgate Brawl goes picture in picture.

Claudio finally catches his breath and Connors covers Cassidy, TWO!! Cassidy survives, but Connors points to the corner. Tag to Yuta, and Yuta revels in getting to go after his former mentor. Yuta clamps on with a facelock and he grinds Cassidy down. Cassidy endures, fights up, fires body shots, but Yuta slips around to GERMAN SUPLEX! Yuta soaks up heat while he stalks Cassidy. Yuta kicks Cassidy, steps over, LA MAGISTROL! TWO, but Yuta clamps onto an arm! Cassidy fights the armbar to stack Yuta, TWO! Yuta mule kicks! Yuta reels Cassidy in for a suplex, but STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE finds him! Hot tag to Austin!

Austin runs, slides, trips Yuta, BLASTS the Death Dog corner, then THROWBACKS Yuta! Austin JABS, JABS, JABS, winds it up, “GUNS UP!” and he DECKS Yuta! Austin dodges Finlay to JAB, JAB, JAB, and “GUNS UP!” Yuta steps up, Austin DECKS him again, but that lets Finlay CLOBBER Austin! Finlay and Yuta stomp away on Austin together! The ref reprimands but Finlay bails out. Yuta tags Garcia, he stomps away on Austin while Yuta BLASTS the Conglomeration corner! Garcia bumps Austin off buckles while Tailgate Brawl goes to break.

Tailgate Brawl returns as Gabe SLAMS Austin down! Cover, TWO! Gabe tags Finlay, but the whole Death Dog team BLASTS the Conglomeration corner! The fans boo but Finlay & Connors double whip Austin, only for Austin to BLAST Gabe & Yuta! Then he dodges, Connors, leaps over Finlay, hot tag to The Switchblade! The fans fire up as White BLASTS Connors, CHOPS Finlay, then whips for a BACKDROP! The fans fire up with White, he dodges Yuta to BACKDROP again! Gabe runs up, he kicks, but White blocks that to DRAGON SCREW! White blocks Claudio’s boot, then says bye! DRAGON SCREW!

Roddy WRECKS Gabe, Kyle FLYING KNEES Connors down, and Cassidy SPRINGBOARD CANNONBALLS onto Yuta & Claudio! Who knew he could do that! White UPPERCUTS Finlay, whips, but Finlay reverses. White stops, dodges, and DDTS! Cover, TWO! Finlay survives but White is feeling it and the fans are with him! White clinches but Finlay CLAWS White’s face! The fans boo but Finlay suplexes. White slips free, ELBOWS Finlay away, then runs up, but into the IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER! Both men are down and the fans rally up again. White and Finlay crawl, hot tags to Colten and Claudio! The fans fire up as Colten fires off on Claudio!

Claudio just roars! Colten  dodges and he DROPKICKS Claudio! Then he DROPKICKS Yuta! And feints Garcia to DECK him! The fans fire up as Colten runs, but Claudio dodges! The Cycle of Violence starts up! ELBOW! UPPERCUT! LARIAT! LARIAT! repeat! Claudio distarcts the ref, Marina LARIATS Colten! But Willow CLOBBERS Marina! The fans fire up, but Yuta TOSSES Willow out! Cassidy tilt-o-whirls to DDT Yuta! Cassidy kips up, hurdles Connors, but the SPEAR finds him all the same! Kyle fires off a strike fest on Connors! LEG SWEEP! Finlay runs up, Kyle BOOTS and ROUNDHOUSES! Finlay rebounds to LARIAT!

Roddy STRONG KNEES Finlay! Gabe dodges to SNAP GERMAN! Finlay has Gabe for the SNAP SLEEPER SUPLEX! Garcia spins White around, TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! But The Guns pinball Garcia, they fake him out, and then DDT! Finlay runs up, but into s 3:10 TO YUMA!! Then Claudio runs up, the Gunns redirect, LARIAT! The fans fire up as the Gunns take aim again, but Yuta has a chair! Marina YANKS Austin out! Claudio CLOBBERS Colten! Tag to Yuta, and he climbs up for the ROCKET LAUNCHER!! Cover, Death Dogs win!

As tonight’s Tailgate Brawl comes to an end, we start a dream match dream series! These teams have met before, and they meet again in hopes of proving who is truly worthy of the AEW World Tag Team Championships! Who sets the tone by taking the very first win?

The teams sort out and Cash Wheeler starts against Alex Shelley. The fans are dueling already, and the two feel things out. They tie up, but Cash drags Shelley over. Dax tags in, but Shelley gets away. The fans rally as the two circle and tie up. Shelley wrenches, wristlocks, then hammerlocks. Dax moves around, reaches out, then slips around to waistlock. Shelley switches, Dax throws him down, but Shelley headscissors. Dax kips free and the two reset. The fans cheer again as the two circle again. They feel things out, tie up, and Dax headlocks. Dax hits a takeover, keeps Shelley down this time, but Shelley moves around.

Shelley rises up, powers up and out, but Dax RUNS him over! Cover, ONE, but Dax hits a takeover. Shelley headscissors again, Dax kips free again, but Shelley hits an arm-drag takedown. The fans cheer the exchange, but Dax fights up. Dax pulls hair, but Shelley wrenches. Tag to Chris Sabin, he runs to LEAP FROG ATTACK the arm! Then arm-drags for a takedown! Dax fights up, powers Sabin to the corner, and tags Cash. Sabin slips away, and he arm-drags Cash! Cash fights up fast, pulls hair, and he puts Sabin in a corner. Cash ROCKS Sabin, then whips corner to corner. Sabin goes up and over to arm-drag again!

The fans cheer as Sabin keeps on the arm, but Cash pulls hair again. Cash puts Sabin in the FTR corner, tags Dax, and they mug Sabin. The ref reprimands but Dax puts Sabin in an open corner. Dax CHOPS, but Sabin CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Sabin whips, ELBOWS Dax down, but Dax bails out. The fans cheer, and Tailgate Brawl goes picture in picture.

Stoke & Cash make sure Dax is alright, and they talks some trash on the fans. Dax returns to the ring, ties up with Sabin, and wrenches to wrangle Sabin! Dax keeps on the arm, hammerlocks, but Sabin switches. Dax ELBOWS Sabin down! Dax SLAPS Sabin around, then CHOPS him to the FTR corner. Tag to Cash and FTR mugs Sabin in the corner! The ref reprimands, FTR backs off, and Cash stalks Sabin. Cash stomps Sabin, then scrapes his sole off Sabin’s face! Cash drags Sabin up, CHOPS him again, then mocks the clapping. Cash CHOKES Sabin on the ropes, CLAWS his face, but stops as the ref counts 4.

The ref reprimands Cash, but Dax sets Sabin up so Stoke can SLAP him! Stoke gives a thumbs up while Cash keeps Sabin from Shelley. Cash HIP DROPS Sabin, then puts him in the FTR corner. Tag to Dax, then they whip, trip, and ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Sabin is tougher than that, but FTR soaks up heat. Dax stays between Sabin and Shelley, then stomps Sabin around. Dax clamps on, pulls Sabin’s nose, then puts him in a corner. Dax CHOPS, but Sabin ROCKS! Dax ROCKS Sabin, Sabin ROCKS Dax, repeat! They go back and forth, shot for shot, then Dax shoves. Sabin BOOTS Dax! Sabin runs up, and DOUBLE LARIATS take both men down!

Sabin crawls, reaches out, but Dax hurries to bring him around. Dax TOSSES Sabin out, then sucker punches Shelley! The ref is busy with Dax and Shelley, so Stoke stomps away on Sabin! Stoke gets away with it again, and Cash puts Sabin in. Tailgate Brawl returns to single picture as Dax whips Sabin to ropes. Dax ELBOWS Sabin, ROCKS Shelley, and Cash joins in! FTR double whip, then Cash runs up> Shelley ducks, dodges, and Sabin is back to DOUBLE CROSSBODY! The fans fire up as MCMG DECKS FTR, then LARIAT them both up and out! The fans fire up again, and a ring count starts on FTR.

Stoke coaches FTR up, and Cash hears the count. Cash tags Dax the outside, the ref says that doesn’t count! Cash argues with the ref, Dax steps in, and he circles with Shelley. But Cash pulls Shelley into the ropes! The ref reprimands but Dax ROCKS Shelley! Tag to Cash for real, and they double whip to BODY BLOW, NECKBREAKER, and cover, TWO! The fans rally as Cash stalks Shelley. Cash drags Shelley up, CLUBS him, then puts him in the corner. Cash whips Shelley, but Shelley slides under Dax! Shelley dodges Cash, then FTR rushes in! Sabin is there, and it is a brawl! The ref reprimands but he can’t stop them!

Sabin whips Dax to BACKDROP! Cash ROCKS Shelley, Shelley CHOPS! Sabin CHOPS, and Sabin puts Cash in a corner. Sabin climbs up, and the fans cheer as Sabin rains down fists! Sabin gets seven before Cash lifts him off the corner for an atomic drop! Cash CHOPS, Sabin falls, and the fans boo! Cash CHOKES Sabin on the ropes, stops at 4, and he UPPERCUTS Sabin down. Cash taunts Shelley, and we’re moving from TNT to YouTube as this goes into overtime!

Pyro goes off to mark the official start of WrestleDream as FTR and MCMG brawl! Sabin fires off on Cash, Shelley TOSSES Dax, and MCMG double whips! They start up the Dream Sequence! The fans fire up as the DROPKICK sends Cash tumbling! Shelley then slides out, but FTR dodges! They lift Shelley for the DOUBLE FACEBUSTER! Stoke laughs and FTR soaks up heat. Cash brings Shelley around, and APRON BACK SUPLEXES! Cash then stomps Sabin in the chest, kicks him into the ring, and he tags Dax. Dax puts Shelley through the ropes, KICKS, ROCKS, and KICKS him on repeat! The fans boo but Cash LARIATS Shelley in! Dax covers, TWO!

The fans rally as Shelley survives, but Dax drags him up. Dax reels Shelley into a COBRA TWIST! The fans duel, but Cash reaches out to link up with Dax! Sabin protests but that keeps the ref from seeing the cheating! Dax reaches out, he and Cash link up again! But again the ref stops Sabin! Cash tags in, he puts Shelley in the COBRA TWIST, but the ref didn’t see the tag so now it doesn’t matter! Dax reels Shelley in, Shelley cradle counter! The ref finally sees, TWO! DOUBLE LARIATS knock Shelley and Dax down! The fans chant, “Ref, You Suck!” Dax and Shelley crawl, Cash tags in, and he stomps Shelley. Cash keeps Shelley from Sabin and the fans boo.

Cash drags Shelley into a chinlock, then a COBRA CLUTCH! Shelley endures, the fans rally, and Shelley fights up. Shelley JAWBREAKERS free! Dax tags in and hurries to scoop SLAM! But Shelley avoids elbow drop after elbow drop! Shelley goes to the apron, he ELBOWS Cash and ROCKS Dax on repeat! Shelley RAMS Dax, HOTSHOTS him, but Cash leaps! Shelley dodges, Cash hits the desk! The fans fire up while Stoke freaks out! Shelley crawls towards the corner, but Dax brings him up! Dax holds onto one hand but Shelley fires forearms! The fans rally as Shelley keeps fighting, but Dax whips, CHOPS, JABS, and LARIATS!

The fans boo but Dax huffs ‘n’ puffs. Dax tags Cash, they get Shelley up, and they BOOSTED GOURD BUSTER! Cover, TWO! Shelley is tougher than that, but Stoke argues the count. Cash stalks Shelley while the fans rally up. Cash drags Shelley up, and clamps onto him with a COBRA CLUTCH! Shelley endures, fights up, and the fans rally again. Shelley pries the hold open, arm-drags free, but Dax tags in! Dax intercepts Shelley, but Shelley fires hands on Dax, then on Cash! Shelley CHOPS, Dax wobbles, and Shelley CHOPS! Dax ducks a shot to lift Shelley! Sabin reaches out, but he’s still too far away! Shelley sunset flips, TWO!

Cash rushes in, Shelley hops up, but Cash ducks the kicks, so it hits Dax! Shelley BOOTS Cash away, but then Dax YANKS Sabin off the apron! The fans boo but Dax DECKS Sabin! Stoke grins but the fans taunt Dax for being bald. Dax goes back to Shelley, CHOPS him down, and Stoke talks trash how MCMG challenged the greatest tag team, so this is what they get! Dax eggs Shelley on, but Shelley rises up. Dax slaps Shelley around, Shelley ROCKS Dax! Dax shoves Shelley, Shelley BOOTS back! Cash drags Dax to safety to tag in. But Shelley dodges and Cash hits buckles! The fans rally up as Shelley crawls again!

Cash crawls, he tags Dax! Dax slips in again, but Sabin avoids the cheap shot! Shelley BACKDROPS Dax, then hot tags Sabin! The fans fire up as Sabin fires off on FTR, then arm-drags again and again and again! FTR bails out, but Sabin goes to the apron! PENALTY KICK on Cash, mule kick on Dax, then CANNONBALL onto Cash! The fans fire up again, and Sabin ROCKS and CHOPS Dax on repeat! Sabin SOBATS, then reels Dax in, TORNADO- NO, Dax slips free! Stoke storms up, but Sabin stares him down. Dax waistlocks Sabin, Shelley waistlocks Dax, Dax switches with Shelley, but Shelley slips free, Sabin hits a CUTTER on Dax! The fans fire up again, and Sabin hurries to cover, TWO! Dax survives again and Stoke is relieved. The fans rally for MCMG as Sabin drags Dax over. Tag to Shelley and they call their shot! Sabin turns Dax while Shelley climbs, but Cash YANKS Shelley down! Sabin runs up, Cash DUMPS him out! Cash says go up, and Dax goes after Shelley! But Sabin SHOVES Cash off a corner! Shelley fires hands, then HEADBUTTS Dax down! The fans cannot believe it and neither can MCMG! Dax is still in this for FTR, and fans are hoping these teams “FIGHT FOREVER!” Shelley tags Sabin, MCMG double whips Dax, but Dax ducks double lariats! Cash drags Sabin out to SMACK him off the desk! Dax ROCKS Shelley, Cash joins in and FTR double whips. Shelley ducks ‘n’ dodges, sunset flips, but Dax helps Cash stay up! Sabin sunset flips Dax! Double cover, TWO!! FTR escapes again and MCMG can’t believe it! The fans rally again as the teams sort out. Sabin has Dax, Shelley has Cash, and they wrench to whip. FTR reverses, MCMG dosidos and fires off on FTR!

MCMG whips again, FTR crashes, and then MCMG DOUBLE SUPERKICK! Dax staggers but Cash falls out of the ring. Sabin runs up with Shelley, BOOT ENZIGIRI COMBO! The fans fire up as MCMG sets Dax up again, SKULL AND CROSSBONES!! Cover, Cash gives Dax the ROPEBREAK!!! MCMG think they’ve won but the ref saw that just in time! MCMG DROPKICK and SUPERKICK Cash out! Dax sputters, MCMG get him up. MCMG pump handle, but Cash trips Shelley! Cash POSTS Shelley, Sabin chases Cash! But he runs into Dax’s lift! Cash goes up, MIND BREAKER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Sabin shocks everyone!

The fans are thunderous for “A E DUB!” for making this match possible. Stoke coaches FTR, Dax tags Cash, and they get Sabin up. Dax tells Sabin time to enter the big leagues! Dax shoves Sabin, he slips free, no Shatter Machine! Shelley SUPERKICKS Dax, then he and Sabin fire off on Cash! They reel Cash in and pump handle, DOUBLE DRIVER!! Cover, MCMG WINS!

The CEO went All In so hard, she wasn’t able to go All Out! But even so, she’s been waiting to face the Toxic Spider for some time, and the feeling is mutual. But will Thekla be the one to derail the Money Train? Or will Mone prove she can get just as toxic as the worst of them?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who’s really the boss of this division!

The bell rings and the fans are dueling already. The two approach, tie up, and Mone slips around to bump Thekla off buckles. Mone bumps Thekla off more buckles, then runs her to a third corner for another buckle bump. Mone digs her boot into Thekla’s neck, but steps off as the ref counts. The fans chant, “F her up, Thekla, F her up!” Mone flips the fans off, then runs up, but Thekla dodges. Mone hits buckles, and Thekla runs her side to side into more buckles! The fans duel as Thekla runs up and mule kicks! Then she kicks a leg out, only for Mone to snatch the lariat into a takedown! STATEMENT MAKER CROSSFACE!

Thekla endures, it’s more just a facelock now, but Mone floats over to trap the arm! The fans rally as Thekla endures, and she powers up to wrench free and bridge at the same time! The fans cheer as Thekla spider-walks away, then avoids a stomp from Mone! Mone runs up, Thekla dodges to whip, but Mone reverses. Thekla goes Spider-Woman in the ropes, then she dodges as Mone runs up! Mone tumbles to the floor, and Thekla goes out after her. Thekla SMACKS Mone off the apron, then whips her to barriers! Thekla signals he’s getting the belt back, then she storms up on Mone. Thekla whips Mone into more railing!

Mone falls in a heap while the fans cheer. Thekla grins as she brings Mone back up, puts her in the ring, and she fires the fans up again. Thekla goes to the apron, lines up a shot, and she BOOTS Mone through the ropes! Mone falls, Thekla climbs, and Thekla leaps for a CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Mone is tougher than that but Thekla is still smiling. Thekla sits Mone up, but Mone ducks the buzzsaw, only for Thekla to mule kick! Thekla goes Spider Walk again, but Mone deadlifts her! Mone fires knees into Thekla’s face before the CIPHER UTAKI! The fans fire up again and Mone drags Thekla into a cover, TWO!

The fans duel as Mone paces. Mone snapmares Thekla, KNEES her in the back again and again, then runs to METEORA! Cover, TWO! Thekla is tougher than that, which annoys Mone. Mone scuffs Thekla, but Thekla eggs her on. Mone slaps Thekla around, then SLAPS her down! Mone hauls Thekla up and snap suplexes! Cover, TWO!! Thekla almost didn’t get out of that, but Mone soaks up cheers and jeers as she looms over her. Mone snapmares again, then clamps on for a motorcycle stretch. The fans duel harder and harder, which upsets Mone. Thekla endures, reaches out with a foot, but Mone turns her over to dig her knee into Thekla’s shoulder blades!

The fans rally, but Mone STOMPS Thekla down! Mone hooks up the legs, SLAPS the sides, and has the arms again! Mone brings Thekla up, ROMERO SPECIAL! The fans cheer as Thekla endures! Thekla fights to get her arms free, and she activates her core, only for Mone to FLING her away! Cover, TWO! Mone shrieks in frustration but the fans rally up again. Mone stalks Thekla, drags her up, and bumps her off buckles. Mone digs her boot into Thekla, but the ref counts. Mone stops at 4, then soaks up more cheers and jeers. Mone mocks the Spider Bridge, runs back in, but Thekla BOOTS her! Thekla goes up, BOOTS again, then reels Mone in!

Thekla has Mone in the HANGING HEADSCISSOR! The fans cheer, the ref counts, and Thekla lets go at 4. Thekla storms back in, fires forearm after forearm, then SOBATS! Thekla runs, but Mone scoops to tilt-o-whirl, CIPHER- RANA! Thekla sends Mone into ropes! The fans cheer while Mone sputters, and Thekla runs up to BOOT WASH her! The fans rally as Thekla goes out, and she lines up another shot. But Mone avoids this boot to go out and CODE BREAKER! Thekla falls back to the corner, and Mone gets space. Mone runs the whole 20 feet to METEORA the POST! Thekla avoids disaster but Mone does not, and Mone falls to the floor!

The fans rally up, the ring count climbs, but Thekla goes out to the apron again. Thekla DIVING DOUBLE STOMPS Mone’s back! The fans cheer as Thekla does her dance, and “makes it swing.” Thekla stands over Mone as she does it, too! The fans cheer again, and Thekla puts Mone in the ring. Thekla then hurries to cover, TWO! Mone is tougher than that but Thekla shakes her head. Mone goes to a corner, Thekla runs in, but Mone BOOTS her away! Thekla comes back, but into DEADLY NIGHTSHADE! Mone then drags Thekla up, but Thekla SLAPS first! Thekla climbs while Mone wobbles, and Thekla goes to the top.

Mone fires body shots, and she swings, only for Thekla to drop down! Thekla BODY BLOWS, then she has Mone for the SPIDER SUPERPLEX! The fans fire up while Mone writhes, and Thekla sits right back up! Thekla grins, then adjusts her position, and Mone stands up into the DOUBLE STOMP! The fans fire up with Thekla and she hits her Spider Bridge! Thekla watches Mone, then spins around, SPIDER SPEAR!! Wait, was that up high?! Thekla made sure to hit the face mask! Cover, TWO!! Mone still survives and the fans rally up again. Thekla drags Mone up, but Mone blocks a kick! Mone KNEES Thekla right down!

The fans duel as hard as they can as Mone lines up a shot! Mone runs in, SUNSET BUCKLE BOMB! The fans fire up as Mone goes corner to corner again, METEORA! Mone hurries to push Thekla into the drop zone, then she goes up the corner! METEORA! Cover, TWO! Thekla survives again and Mone is beside herself. The fans rally as Mone goes back for Thekla again, spins her and hooks her up into the Gory Especial! MONEY- SUNSET FLIP! Mone slips through but Thekla steps over, into a SPIDER WEB CLUTCH!! Mone flails, reaches out, and kicks her way to the ROPEBREAK! The fans are torn but Thekla lets go at 4.

Mone survives, but Thekla runs up! CURB STOMP!! Cover, ROPEBREAK again!! Mone’s ring awareness is uncanny, and Thekla can’t help but laugh in frustration. Thekla drags Mone around, but Mone clings to the ropes. The ref reprimands, Thekla lets go, and Mone scrambles away. Mone takes the face mask off while Thekla argues with the ref. Mone checks her face, but Thekla storms up. Mone SMACKS her with the mask!! The fans boo but Mone Gory Especials into the- NO, Thekla slips free! O’Conner Roll, and bridge!! TWO!! Mone escapes and the fans fire up again! Thekla is frustrated but the fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!”

Thekla snarls, runs up, CURB- NO, Mone dodges the stomp, Gory Especial, MONEY MAKER!! Cover, Mone wins!!

The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla beat The Prodigy when the puka shell necklace became a distraction, but Nick used a distraction of his own to get a low blow and victory in the rematch. Now these two look to settle the score, but will Jericho prove Nick’s still got a ways to go? Or will Jericho be forced to apologize?

The bell rings and Nick smirks as Jericho fires the fans up more and more. Jericho smiles as the fans chant “Y2J! Y2J!” Nick and Jericho slowly circle, and Nick dares Jericho tot each him something. Then Nick SPITS at Jericho! Jericho SPITS back, then DECKS Nick! Nick bails out, but Jericho WRECKS him with a dropkick! The fans cheer as Jericho gets Nick up, SMACKS him off the steel steps, then brings him around the way. Jericho whips Nick hard into railing! Jericho scuffs Nick, drags him up, and the fans cheer as Jericho whips Nick into barriers! Nick tumbles up and around, almost falling into the first row!

Jericho gives out his bead necklaces, and even one to Paul Wight! The fans cheer for #JeriShow, and Jericho positions the steps. Jericho brings Nick up, but Nick CLAWS Jericho’s face! Nick SMACKS Jericho off the steps, then lines up a shot. The fans boo as Nick goes up, up, and leaps, but Jericho catches him! Jericho DEATH VALLEY DRIVERS Nick onto the steps!! The fans go nuts while Nick writhes, and Jericho winks at the camera. Jericho gets a camera to take photos! And a selfie! The fans cheer while Jericho gives the camera back, then puts Nick in the ring. Jericho stalks Nick to a corner, stomps him, then stomps more.

Jericho stomps a mudhole, then digs his boot in. The ref counts, Jericho stops, and Jericho brings Nick around. Jericho CHOPS Nick, CHOPS again, then CHOPS again! Jericho whips corner to corner, then LARIATS! Jericho puts Nick up top, the fans cheer, and Jericho climbs up. The fans cheer as Jericho rains down fists! Jericho only gets five before Nick throws body shots! Nick SHOVES Jericho down, and Jericho clips the cameraman! Nick goes up, ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Down goes Jericho and Nick rolls right to his feet! The fans cheer, that was legit impressive! Jericho sputters, the ring count climbs, but Nick comes back for Jericho.

Nick whips Jericho into steel steps! Nick hops up onto the railing to soak up the cheers and jeers. Nick then goes back for Jericho, puts him in the ring, but the fans chant, “Where’s Your Mom?” Nick ignores that as he stomps Jericho around. Nick is annoyed as the fans keep chanting about “MAMA WAYNE!” but he whips Jericho. Jericho KICKS Nick, but Nick UPPERCUTS Jericho down! Nick kips up, then mockingly applauds Jericho. Nick lines up a shot, but Jericho trips Nick! Jericho drags Nick up, throws hands, and fans chant “MOM! MOM! MOM!” Jericho and Nick trade shots, and Nick CHOPS! Jericho CHOPS back!

The CHOPS keep going, the fans “WOO~”, but Nick runs! Nick BOOTS Jericho, eggs him on, and Jericho BOOTS back! Jericho ducks a kick, CHOPS again, but Nick SUPERKICKS! Nick handsprings, but Jericho dodges to LARIAT! The fans fire up while Nick sputters. Jericho runs, but Nick ducks the Judas Effect! ROUNDHOUSE, and WAYNE’S- CODE BREAKER! Cover off the anti-air, TWO! Jericho stays focused as the fans rally up. Jericho and Nick pull each other’s hair, then Jericho ROCKS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Nick JABS! Jericho CHOPS! Nick winds up, and he CHOPS! And CHOPS! Jericho eggs him on, so Nick CHOPS again!

Jericho rises again, and he gives out a few more bead necklaces before going back to Nick.

The fans chant “You Still Got It!” as Jericho puts Nick in the ring. Jericho climbs up, up, but Nick GAMANGIRIS! Jericho wobbles and Nick hurries back up after him. Nick grins as he climbs, and he rains down fists! Nick gets payback for France as he goes to nine, winds up, and he flips the fans off before he hip thrusts at Jericho! Then he SUPER- NO, Jericho turns steiner into POWERBOMB!! High stack, TWO!! But into the WALLS OF JERICHO!! the fans are thunderous as Nick endures! Nick reaches out, claws at the mat, but Jericho sits deep! Nick crawls across the AEW logo, and he manages the ROPEBREAK!

The fans boo but Nick escapes to the outside. Nick grabs a bottle of water to hydrate. Jericho storms his way over, but Nick SPITS the water into Jericho’s face! That was Nick’s scheme all along! Jericho sputters on the apron, Nick goes up after him, and he cravats for an APRON SLICED BREAD! A little double-edged for Nick, but he still goes up the corner! Jericho is in the drop zone for the 450 SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Jericho survives and Nick is shocked! The fans rally up while Nick huffs ‘n’ puffs. Nick rains down forearms, and he grins as he mocks the applause. Nick talks trash and the fans boo, but Nick goes up, up, and- NO, Jericho gets under!

Jericho BOOTS Nick, goes up, but Nick SHORYUKENS! Jericho wobbles again, and Nick runs to jump back up, and SUPER CUTTER!! Cover, ONE?!!? The fans are thunderous as Jericho brings out that Lionheart! He trips Nick, WALLS OF JERICHO!! The fans go nuts as Nick endures! Nick pushes up, grabs a leg, but Jericho stomps on Nick! Jericho CATAPULTS Nick into buckles! GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Jericho holds on, drags Nick up, but Nick grabs at the ref! Nick MULE KICK LOW BLOWS! But Jericho isn’t bothered?! Nick doesn’t understand, and he shoves the ref to LOW BLOW again! Still nothing?!

Jericho DECKS Nick! And then surprise! He was wearing a cup! The fans cheer the genius of Jericho, soak it in, man! Jericho then SMACKS away on Nick with the cup! The ref reprimands, takes the cup away, and then Jericho LOW BLOWS Nick!! Then JUDAS- NO, Nick falls! But then Nick rolls Jericho up! The ref counts, NICK WINS?!?!

Just when Jericho had Nick outsmarted, Nick simply toughed it out! Jericho is stunned, but then Nick gets a mic. Nick tells Jericho, “I think what you meant to say… was for the second time, Nick Wayne… beat Chris Jericho!” And he gets his pyro! Nick may be smug about it, but he did win. Will Jericho keep his word and apologize to The Prodigy?

 

AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Young Bucks VS Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight!

Matt & Nick Jackson finally accomplished their goal of becoming FOUR-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions. However, the dysfunctional duo Don Callis put together has become a well-oiled machine. However, the win over The Bucks in the tables match and the win at All Out against Darby Allin & Steven Borden have some asterisks on them, so tonight is about proving they’re truly worthy. Will #ProtoJet take off with some gold in their luggage? Or will nothing stop the Superkick Party now?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if blood is truly thicker than water!

The teams sort out and of course Don Callis is on commentary. Knight and Nick start, tie up, and are in a deadlock. Knight headlocks, Nick powers up and out, but Knight RUNS Nick over! Knight flexes, runs, but Nick stays low. Nick hurdles, Knight leaps over, and things keep moving. Knight flips through the hip toss to LARIAT Nick down! Nick is right up but the fans applaud. Nick bails out and ProtoJet have a laugh. Nick cools off, slides back in, and he tags Matt. The fans cheer as Knight then tags Kyle. Kyle and Matt meet and the fans fire up. Kyle and Matt tie up, Kyle wrenches, wristlocks, but Matt rolls and kips up.

Matt wrenches, Kyle wrenches to headlock, but Matt powers up and out. Kyle RAMS Matt, Matt RAMS Kyle, but Kyle RUNS Matt over! The fans cheer, and Kyle goes back to Matt. Matt trips Kyle, CATAPULTS him, and Nick- NO, Kyle DECKS Nick! Then he stomps Matt! Kyle says nope, he knows the tricks too well! Kyle CLUBS Matt, then drags him up. Kyle headlocks Matt, tags Knight, and they double whip Matt to the corner. Matt goes up and over Knight to kick Kyle low. Then he kicks off Knight to SLICED- NO, Kyle slips free, then he gives Knight a boost to DROPKICK Matt down! A very Bucks type move, isn’t it?

Knight kips up, dodges Nick, and Kyle GUT BUSTERS! Wait, Knight runs up, NECKBREAKER BACKBREAKER COMBO! That’s another Buck move! The fans cheer as The Bucks go to corners, then Knight & Kyle LARIAT them! Then they dosido and LARIAT again! HIGH-FIVE DOUBLE BULLDOGS! ProtoJet continues to copy The Bucks’ playbook! The fans are torn as Knight & Kyle both flex like the Bucks! Knight TOSSES Matt, the fans cheer for Kyle, and he runs up to kick Matt! Kyle puts Matt in, Knight drags him up, then tag to Kyle. Knight bumps Matt off buckles, then he and Kyle mug Matt in the corner.

Kyle throws hands again and again, but the ref counts. Kyle stops at 4, soaks up cheers and jeers, then runs up again, but into BOOTS! Matt DECKS Knight, goes up and around Kyle, then CROSSBODIES Knight! Matt hurries back in, but Kyle catches him! Matt sunset flips, Kyle rolls through, but Matt slips under, hot tag to Nick! Nick goes up as Knight rushes in, DOUBLE CROSSBODY for ProtoJet! The fans fire up as Nick ROCKS Kyle, ROCKS Knight, but they both kick low! They double whip, but Matt tags in! Nick flips through the hip toss to give ProtoJet a meeting of the minds! Matt sets up, and he gives Nick the boost for the DOUBLE DROPKICK!

The fans cheer as Matt & Nick DOUBLE LARIAT Kyle up and out! Then they trap Knight to DROPKICK him down! The fans fire up again as The Bucks show ’em how it’s done! Nick gives Matt the lift so that Matt can FLING Nick up, DOUBLE ASAI MOONSAULT! Down goes ProtoJet, and Nick scares Callis into the crowd! The fans cheer as Nick goes back to ringside, and he stands on the desk to fire everyone up! Nick then puts Kyle in and brings Kyle around. Kyle fights the waistlock, BOOTS Matt, then switches. Nick switches, Kyles switches, repeat, but Matt runs up! SUNSET FLIP GERMAN COMBO! Knight tags in, FLYING LARIAT on Matt!

Nick knuckle locks Knight, CHOPS then goes up, up, and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” But Kyle stops the rana! And he pops Nick around, DROPKICK BACKDROP COMBO! The fans cheer, that was legit, too! Kyle rains down fists on Nick, then kicks him out of the ring. The ref is busy with ProtoJet, Callis CHOKES Nick! The fans boo Callis even more than usual, but Knight puts Nick in the ring. Kyle stomps Nick down, then stalks him. Nick goes to ropes, Kyle BODY BLOWS! Kyle ROCKS Nick, then tags Knight. Knight BLASTS Matt, then runs up to SPLASH Nick! Knight snapmares Nick, runs, and SLIDING SHOULDER TACKLES!

Nick flounders to the corner, Knight says it’s just about time. Nick ELBOWS Kyle, BOOTS Knight, but Knight keeps Nick from Matt. Knight whips Nick, Nick BLASTS Kyle! Nick ROCKS Knight, but Knight whips. Nick goes up and out to PENALTY KICK Kyle! Nick RAMS Into Knight, slingshot FACEBUSTER! Then CARTWHEEL MOONSAULT! Kyle catches, but Nick swings through, TORNADO DDT to the floor! Kyle sputters while the fans fire up for The Bucks and for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Nick crawls back into the ring, reaches out, but Knight hurries to intercept! Knight drags Nick back, but Nick BOOTS him away! Hot tag to Matt!

The fans fire up as Matt fires hands on Knight, and on Kyle! Matt ROCKS Kyle, CHOPS and ROCKS him in the corner, but Knight CLOBBERS Matt! Knight whips Matt to the other corner, then runs up, but Matt dodges! Matt also dodges Kyle, sending him into Knight! Matt cravats Kyle, kicks off Knight, SLICED BREAD for Kyle! Then NORTHERN LIGHTS for Knight! The Polar Express starts up as Matt keeps going! Knight slips free of the third, but Matt switches. Kyle tags in before the O’Conner Roll, but Matt still catches him! NORTHERN LIGHTS O’CONNER COMBO! TWO!! Matt gets up, he gets ProtoJet for the DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, TWO!!

The fans fire up as all three men are down! Knight goes to a corner, “This is Awesome!” as Matt rises up. Matt runs up, blocks the boots, and he GAMANGIRIS Knight! Knight is in the ropes, but Matt drags Kyle up. MMM BOP DROP and the DRAPING BACKSTABBER! Cover on Kyle, TWO! The Bucks are frustrated but they stay focused. The Bucks climb the corners, and “Three! Two! One!” But Kyle & Knight trip them both up! Then Knight goes to the UPPER ROOM! Matt goes flying, and Kyle goes up after Nick! Nick fights back with body shots, and he HEADBUTTS Kyle! Nick goes up, around, and SUPER DUPER POISON-RANAS!! But Knight is up top to MOTHERSHIP SPLASH!! Knight calls to Kyle, Kyle has to crawl to the cover, but Nick gets away! Callis is frustrated but the fans fire up again! The fans hope these teams “FIGHT FOREVER!” Knight crawls his way out to go after Nick. Kyle stands Nick up, fires forearm after forearm, but Nick SUPERKICKS!

Nick waistlocks, APRON GERMAN! Knight tumbles away, but Kyle SUPERKICKS Nick! Kyle brings Nick in, suplexes, but Nick slips free! Matt jumps up, APRON DDT!! The fans are going nuts again as The Bucks fire back up! Nick runs at Knight, but Knight dodges! Nick goes up, Matt scoops! Knight flails to get free, and he SHOVES Matt into Nick! The fans continue to go nuts as The Bucks then return to the ring. Kyle staggers to his feet, blocks a kick and THROWS it into Matt! SUPERKICK on Nick! Kyle suplexes, but Nick turns it into a SPIKE-RANA! Cover, TWO!! Matt is back, he and Nick sit Kyle up, B T E TRIGGER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Kyle survives and the fans are shocked! The fans are thunderous as Kyle hauls Matt up, BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Callis is furious, ProtoJet is frustrated, and the fans are freaking out! But Kyle runs to GAMANGIRI! Then he puts Matt up top, climbs up after him, and TOP ROPE BRAINBUSTERS!!! Knight is back up top, MOTHERSHIP SPLASH again!! Cover, NICK BARRELS IN AND BREAKS IT!! Callis protests, but the fans are electric as this just keeps going! Kyle rains down fists on Matt, but stops as the ref reprimands. Kyle huffs ‘n’ puffs as he paces, and he drags Matt up. Kyle half nelsons again, SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF!

Kyle points up, and he takes aim again. Then Knight tags himself in? Kyle asks what Knight’s doing! They were doing fine as they were! Knight says he’s got this! COAST2- SUPERKICK!! Kyle says this is what he meant! Kyle catches Nick to SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! Then he has Matt, SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! GAMANGIRI for Nick! Matt dodges, Nick GAMANGIRIS! Then SUPERKICK after SUPERKICK after SUPERKICK after SUPERKICK! Then the DOUBLE SUPERKICK!! Kyle is still sitting up but he is in a daze. The Bucks set him up again, but Knight is taking aim! But she’s upset that the fans are cheering Aminata! Amianta wrenches free, Hyan is back, DOUBLE SPEAR! The fans cheer, but Dani waistlocks Hyan. Hyan switches and shoves but Dani ELBOWS her back! Dani goes up to MISSILE- SPEAR!! Hyan hits first, then covers, but Perse drags her out of the ring! Perse kicks Hyan, reels her in, but Hyan fights the lift! The fans fire up for Hyan, and she puts Perse in the ring. Perse rolls back out, Hyan follows her to the apron, but Dani CLUBS Hyan! Dani goes up, and deadlift GERMAN SUPLEXES Hyan! But then Aminata QUEEN’S CROWN HEADBUTTS! Aminata puts Dani in a drop zone, goes up top, and COUP DE GRACE!! Cover, Perse SHOTGUNS Aminata down! Perse puts Aminata in the ring, the fans still cheer Aminata on, but Perse tells them to shut up! Perse slides in, SUPERKICK from Aminata! Aminata reels Perse in, FISHERMAN SCREW! Perse is on the ropes, Aminata says OFF WITH HER HEAD!! Cover, HYAN BREAKS IT! The fans are upset on Aminata’s behalf, but Hyan underhooks! BUTTERFLY PLEX! Hyan tunes up the band, then runs around the world, BOOT WASH of her own!

Hyan hurries to get Aminata up, FALCON ARROW! Just enough for it to hit and Hyan covers, TWO! The fans rally up while Hyan drags Aminata up. Aminata fights the chicken wings, Perse GERMAN SUPLEXES Hyan! SUPERKICK for Aminata! Perse gets Hyan up and in, Canadian Rack, but Dani is back! And she uses Hyan as a weapon to RAM Perse into a corner! SPINEBUSTER for Hyan, then fireman’s carry for Perse! Dani scoops Hyan and the fans fire up! SAMOAN DROP FALL AWAY SLAM COMBO! Dani gets moving, she LARIATS Aminata! Dani hauls Aminata up, REBOUNDS BLUE THUNDER! Cover, Hyan breaks it again!

Hyan and Dani pull hair, then they fire forearms! Dani ROCKS Hyan, but Hyan SLAPS Dani! Hyan nods, eggs Dani on, but Dani smiles. Dani TACKLES Hyan, and rains down furious fists! The fans are torn as Perse climbs, and Perse MOONSAULTS again! Direct hit this time, and cover, Perse wins!

The bell rings and the fans rally up as the two stare down. The fans chant, “Take Your Pants Off!” Ciampa says no, no, we don’t need that. Ciampa offers a handshake, but Andrade CHOPS! Ciampa walks that off, and he comes back to CHOP! Andrade fires a forearm, Ciampa hits back, repeat! Andrade hits a headlock takeover, Ciampa headscissors, but Andrade kips free. Ciampa headlocks for the takeover, but Andrade bridges over and handsprings through! Ciampa ducks Day of the Dead to roll Andrade! Andrade rolls through to avoid the knee! The fans cheer as the two stand off. The two circle, feel things out, and knuckle lock.

Andrade blocks a kick to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Andrade snap suplexes for Uno Amigo! The fans cheer Dos- NO, Ciampa slips free to GERMAN SUPLEX! Ciampa holds on but Andrade ELBOWS Ciampa! Ciampa still holds on but Andrade ELBOWS again. Andrade is free, and he CHOPS Ciampa in the corner. Andrade whips corner to corner but Ciampa reverses. But then Ciampa says no, he’s not doing that! Ciampa wags his finger, then drags Andrade up. Ciampa whips, Andrade reverses, but Ciampa ducks ‘n’ dodges to LEAPING LARIAT! Then Ciampa gets Andrade up to TOSS him out! Andrade goes up, but he avoids the knee! Andrade drags Ciampa out to snap suplex to the floor! That’s Uno Amigo! The fans cheer for Dos Amigos to the floor! Andrade drags Ciampa back up, THREE AMIGOS on the floor!

The fans cheer “EDDIE! EDDIE!” and Andrade hobbles over. Andrade puts Ciampa in, then climbs the corner. Andrade steadies himself, then jumps to drop into the SPLIT LEG MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Ciampa survives but Andrade says it was close. Ciampa bails out, the fans still want Andrade’s pants to come off. But Andrade TRIANGLE JUMP TORNILLOS! The fans fire up as Ciampa falls again! Andrade grins, he pats the fan wearing the Ben Satterley tribute shirt, then he finds a lovely lady. She wants her selfie so Andrade obliges. He even gives her a kiss on the cheek! Andrade shrugs, then goes back to the ring.

Ciampa catches Andrade in the rope! Andrade fights free but Ciampa CLUBS away! Ciampa whips, Andrade reverses, but Ciampa intercepts the backdrop. Ciampa whips Andrade to ropes, but Andrade goes Spider-Man! Only for Ciampa to KNEE him down! The fans fire up while Andrade falls. Ciampa applauds himself and pats himself on the back, and the fans cheer that, too. Ciampa goes out to fetch Andrade while the fans duel. “Psycho Killer!” “How You Know?” Ciampa wrenches and whips Andrade hard into barriers! Ciampa then drags Andrade up, whips him the other way, and sends him into more barriers!

The fans rally as Ciampa clears out space. Ciampa goes to his family and takes a selfie! The fans cheer the wholesome moment, and Ciampa goes back to Andrade. Ciampa puts Andrade in the ring, stomps Andrade around, and the fans are telling Ciampa to take Andrade’s pants off! Ciampa clamps on a chinlock instead, and he leans on the hold. Andrade endures, the fans rally up, and Andrade rises. Andrade fires body shots, but Ciampa KNEES low! Ciampa turns Andrade, then grabs an arm to RIPCORD FACEBUSTER! A clever move out of Ciampa, and he grins while Andrade writhes. Ciampa again teases the shorts coming off!

The fans aren’t sure what to think about this, but Ciampa just goes after Andrade’s pants! The fans are torn, but Ciampa stomps a mudhole into Andrade! The ref counts, Ciampa stops and “apologizes,” then goes back to Andrade. Ciampa puts Andrade up top, CHOPS him, but Andrade hits back! Ciampa ROCKS Andrade, goes up, and fireman’s carries! Ciampa tucks Andrade, but Andrade flails to SUNSET- NO, Ciampa holds onto the ropes! So Andrade tries to pants Ciampa! Ciampa stops that with a rain of fists! Ciampa then hops down to stomp another mudhole in! The fans are torn, Ciampa runs side to side, KNEE WASH!

The fans rally as Ciampa huffs ‘n’ puffs. Ciampa again teases the shorts, and wait, he takes off the trunks!! He has BACK-UP TRUNKS!! And it reads, “I JUST KNOW.” The fans cheer as Ciampa tosses the first trunks to commentary! Ciampa mocks Andrade’s thigh slapping, and the fans chant, “I JUST KNOW! I JUST KNOW!” Ciampa runs corner to corner, but Andrade LARIATS! And LARIATS! Then he ducks ‘n’ dodges to FLYING FOREARM! The fans cheer as Andrade kips up! Andrade snarls, and he does the thigh slap. “SI! SI! SI!” Andrade runs corner to corner, but Ciampa is up! Andrade ducks a lariat, dragon sleepers, and HOW YOU KNOW ELBOW DROP!

Andrade says now it’s time! OFF COME THE PANTS! Andrade went with red this time! But Ciampa KNEES Andrade! Ciampa puts Andrade up top, shakes his head, but Andrade CLUBS away! Andrade ELBOWS again and again until Ciampa falls! Andrade sits back up, jumps up, and MOONSAULT DOUBLES!! Cover, TWO!! Ciampa survives and Andrade is surprised! The fans cheer as Andrade finishes taking the pants off. Andrade storms up and puts Ciampa on the top rope. Andrade throws forearms, then he climbs up after Ciampa. Andrade fires more forearms, then lifts Ciampa, but Ciampa flails!

Ciampa SUNSET FLIPS, but Andrade flips through! METEORA! Andrade runs, but Ciampa dodges! Andrade just rebounds to METEORA at the ropes! Cover, TWO! Ciampa survives Cien Knees twice and the fans fire up! Andrade goes back to a corner, climbs up, but Ciampa SHOVES Andrade down! Andrade hits apron, then the floor! Ciampa huffs ‘n’ puffs, and he spots Andrade’s pants. Ciampa picks the pants up, the fans kinda wanna see Ciampa wear the pants, but Ciampa SLAMS the pants, STOMPS them, then ELBOW DROPS them! The fans lose their minds as even Andrade’s pants are tougher than that! Ciampa TOSSES the pants away, but DAY OF THE DEAD!! Cover, TWO!!! Ciampa survives and the fans fire up again! Ciampa goes to a corner, the fans rally with Andrade, and Andrade runs corner to corner. But Ciampa’s right up to SHOTGUN KNEE!! Cover, TWO!! Andrade survives but Ciampa goes to the corner. The fans are torn as the two go back and forth! Andrade fires a flurry, then runs, but into a BOOT! Ciampa reels Andrade in, but Andrade slips free! Andrade underhooks, Ciampa trips him, jackknife bridge! TWO! DAY OF THE DEAD AGAIN!! But Ciampa falls to the apron! Andrade grabs at the tights, but Ciampa slaps the hands away. Ciampa falls out of the ring, and the fans cheer “Both These Guys! Both These Guys!”

Andrade rises, he goes to the corner, and he climbs up. Ciampa rises, Andrade thinks about this, and he goes through with it! ARIHARA- NO, Ciampa dodges! And he SHOVES Andrade into the key grip guy?! And then Ciampa uses the cameraman as a weapon, too! Ciampa wipes out part of the ringside staff just to knock Andrade down! Ciampa puts Andrade in the ring, the kneepad is back down, PSYCHO KNEE!! Cover, TWO!?!? Andrade survives and Ciampa is shocked! Ciampa storms outside, grabs the title, and he brings it to the ring. Aubrey stops Ciampa, they argue, and the fans are torn. Ciampa drops the belt and goes around the way.

The Most Dangerous Man and The Millennial Cowboy can’t seem to leave each other alone. Swerve gets into the trios division because Hangman got back in it. Swerve, Kofi & Austin Creed take the titles at All In, dethroning El Bueno, El Malo y El Guapo, then they retain the titles at All Out. Hangman, Bandido & Brody want one more chance while Swerve, Kofi & Creed want to prove they’re the best. Who proves they’re truly championship material by winning twice in one night?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who is really on a new level!

The trios sort out, and Creed starts against Bandido. The fans rally behind “NEW! LEVEL!” as the bell rings on the first fall. Bandido and Creed circle, then tie up. Creed headlocks, but Bandido powers up and out to spin Creed into a facelock. Creed endures, wrenches free, and wristlocks. Creed CLUBS the arm, CLUBS it again, and goes back to the wristlock. Bandido rolls, handsprings, and breaks free to aim his finger gun. Creed and Bandido reset, feel things out, and Bandido clinches. Creed powers up and out but Bandido RUNS Creed over! The fans rally as things keep moving, Creed hurdles but Bandido shoves him.

Creed jumps the dropdown, Bandido hurdles, but Creed waistlocks. Bandido ELBOWS Creed, switches, and back suplexes, but Creed lands out! Creed ducks ‘n’ dodges to slide and ROLLING ELBOW! The fans fire up as Creed stands tall. Creed barks at Brody, then goes to Bandido. Creed brings Bandido up, tags Kofi, and they double whip to mule kick, FRONT KICK, and then feed to Swerve. Swerve whips Bandido into a HOTSHOT! Swerve POMMEL SPLASHES with the ropes! Kofi springboards to SPLASH and cover, TWO! Bandido is tougher than that, but Nana argues the count. Kofi drags Bandido up and brings him around.

The fans fire up as now there’s no stopping these two! Hangman whips, pops Swerve up, but Swerve lands out! Swerve half nelsons but Hangman arm-drags free! Kofi mule kicks Hangman! And KICKS him! And fires hands! Kofi reels Hangman in, but Hangman fights the lift! Hangman Alabama Lifts again, APRON DEADEYE! But APRON KILL STOMPS follow it up!!

Brody BLASTS Swerve! Creed CHOPS Brody! Brody just glares at Creed! Creed CHOPS, Brody barks, so Creed SLAPS! Brody DECKS Creed! Then he hauls Creed right up to suplex to the top rope! Brody climbs up, fires off furious fists, and the fans tell Creed he messed up. But Kofi anchors Brody! Brody YANKS Kofi up by his hair! Brody fires off on New Level, then stacks them up! The fans go nuts as Brody tries it, but New Level resists! Swerve GAMANGIRIS Brody! The fans are torn but New Level mugs Brody. Swerve manages to reverse Gory Especial, VERTEBREAKER!! But Bandido springboards to POISON-RANA!

Bandido hurries after New Level, fires hands with Creed, then fires hands with Kofi! Bandido manages to scoop them both!? The fans go nuts for a DOUBLE FALL AWAY MOONSAULT!!! But then Swerve snatches Bandido into a- NO, Bandido slips free, scopos, and torture racks! X KNEE!! Swerve is on the ropes, the fans are thunderous, and Bandido deals the hand! BLACKJACK 21 but Swerve flips through! Then a deadlift into BIG- VICTORY ROLL! BANDIDO AND TEAM WIN!!!

Winners: Hangman & BRODIDO, by pinfall (NEW AEW World Trios Champions)

Swerve is SHOCKED! It was in the blink of an eye, but Bandido hits the bull’s eye, and now he, Hangman & Brody are champions again! Swerve is furious, he grabs the belts from the ref and says this is garbage! The ref reprimands but Swerve chases the ref off! Hangman & Brodido don’t even realize it until they turn around and see Swerve & New Level arguing. Swerve says Hangman doesn’t deserve this! But New Level disagree, and that’s a 2-1 vote. New Level hand their belts over, they shake hands with Brody & Bandido, and the fans cheer. Hangman and Swerve stare down, and Swerve asks if Hangman wants the belt. Swerve holds it out, then drops it.

The fans are torn, but it seems the more things change, the more they stay the same. Hangman leaves it at that, but will he and Swerve wage war again in the future?

“Ladies and gentlemen, sickos, what a night we have had!” The fans cheer that! Renee knows we know that AEW is Where The Best Wrestle, so it is her honor to introduce us to the newest member of AEW…! The metronome ticks back and forth, then the lights go down. And when the lights come up, with great orchestral accompaniment, it is ILJA DRAGUNOV!! From NXT UK Champion to NXT Champion to WWE United States Champion, and now the Mad Russian is All Elite! The fans are all fired up as Ilja goes around the ring, and he even gets pyro as he conducts the choir of fans! Then he leaves, letting this moment speak for itself.

 

AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley VS Mark Davis!

No one more than The Maniac has been through an emotional time these last few weeks. But as Marina Shafir told him, when you’re going through Hell, you lock in and keep on going. Dunkzilla wants to bring this title back to the Don Callis Family, but can he do it without the family by his side? Or will nothing save him from what Moxley can unleash?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who truly fights through the pain!

The bell rings and the fans rally behind Moxley. Moxley and Davis circle, the fans chant “F him up, Moxley, F him up!” The two tie up, go around, and Davis puts Moxley in the corner. The ref counts, they go along ropes, and Davis puts Moxley in the other corner. The ref counts, gets in there, and the two let go. They go forehead to forehead, then feel things out. Moxley goes for an arm but Davis waistlocks. Moxley wrenches through to spin Davis and wristlocks. Moxley hooks a leg but Davis fights it off to wrangle Moxley instead. Moxley fights up, rolls, and wrenches through. Moxley hammerlocks, headlocks, but Davis powers up and out.

Moxley and Davis RAM shoulders, and Davis eggs Moxley on. The fans boo but Moxley resets with Davis. They circle, Moxley waistlocks, then full nelsons, but Davis powers it apart. Davis wrenches, but Moxley slips through to cording hold. Moxley then facelocks, but Davis powers him to the corner. Davis CHOPS, then stalks Moxley to another corner. Davis fires forearms, CHOPS again, then tells the ref to shut up. But Moxley CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Davis CHOPS back! Davis puts Moxley in the corner, HEADBUTTS him, then follows him along the way. Davis SCRAPES Moxley’s face on the ropes!

The ref reprimands but Davis keeps after Moxley with forearms and CHOPS! Moxley eggs Davis on, so Davis CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS! Moxley turns things around to JAB, CHOP, and repeat! Moxley whips corner to corner, but Davis clinches! BUCKLE SHOT! SLIDING FOREARM! Davis SLIDING FOREARMS again! Moxley sputters, Davis runs, SLIDING FOREARM again! The fans boo but Davis stands back up to soak up that heat. Moxley bails out, and his eyebrow is busted open! Davis goes out to POST Moxley, only making it worse! Davis throws hands on the eyebrow, then stalks Moxley into the ring.

Davis storms after Moxley, grinds his forearm in, but the ref counts. Davis ROCKS Moxley again! Moxley staggers to a corner and falls, but Davis grinds his forearm in! Davis runs to SLIDING FOREARM again! The fans boo as Davis shoves a bloody Moxley down to cover, TWO! Moxley bails out, eyebrow still bleeding badly. Moxley tries to put on pressure, but Davis is the one keeping after him with forearms! Davis its Moxley up on the barrier to then CHOP him! And then HANGING HALF CRAB! The fans boo, the ref counts, and Davis lets go at 4. Moxley stands, Davis puts him in the ring, and he ROCKS Moxley!

Moxley falls over, Davis soaks up heat, and the ref checks. Moxley is still in this, so Davis clamps on a SLEEPER! Moxley fights up, fires body shots, but Davis KNEES low! Moxley is furious and the fans fire up! Davis ROCKS Moxley, and Moxley falls over. But Moxley pounds the mat and rises again! Moxley’s blood is like war paint all over his own body, but Davis DECKS him! Moxley is up to fire forearms and CHOPS! The fans fire up but Davis ROCKS Moxley again! Davis has Moxley in the corner, and he rains down fists! The fans count along, and Davis goes to nine, then winds up for TEN! Davis then BITES Moxley’s eyebrow!

The fans boo but Davis is doing what Moxley would do! The fans still say he’s sick. But then Moxley SHOVES Davis onto the POST! Davis falls to apron then floor, and Moxley builds speed! Moxley DIVES, and he knocks Davis into the desk! Moxley puts Davis back in, then runs corner to corner. LARIAT! Moxley whips, runs, and LARIATS again! Moxley climbs up, and now he rains down fists! The fans count all the way to TEN, then Moxley goes to FIFTEEN! Then Moxley BITES Davis’s forehead! The fans tell Moxley he’s sick, too! Moxley powers up, runs the ropes, and LARIATS! Davis stays up but Moxley LARIATS again!

Davis still wobbles, but Moxley LARIATS again! Moxley gets mad, both men roar, and Moxley CUTTERS! Then a step-over for a La Magistrol! ONE, into an ARMBAR! Davis clasps hands, fights around, but Moxley pulls the grip apart! ARMBAR!! Davis fights around, Moxley shifts the grip to part cording hold! Davis still fights, still reaches out, ROPEBREAK! Moxley lets go in frustration, but he stalks Davis to a corner. The fans rally behind Moxley as he climbs up, but Davis lifts him up! RUNNING- NO, Moxley slips free, kicks low, but Davis wrenches to HEADBUTT! Moxley HEADBUTTS back! Moxley runs, but into a scoop and SLAM!

Davis SLIDING FOREARMS! Cover, TWO!! Moxley survives, but Davis FALLING HAMMERS! Cover, TWO!! Moxley survives again, but Davis is almost amused. Davis stalks Moxley, then stands him up for a KNEE down low! Moxley tumbles to the apron, but Davis goes out after him. Davis drags Moxley up, APRON PILEDRIVER!! The fans go nuts and the ref reprimands, but Davis is trying to do Moxley like he did Ospreay earlier this year! The ref has Davis back off, and a ring count starts. Somehow, Moxley crawls around at 3 of 10, but he’s going the wrong way! Moxley uses the desk to stand up at 7, and he hobbles his way back over at 8!

Moxley flounders against the apron, and he lunges in at 9.5! Davis ENZIGIRIS Moxley back down! Moxley tumbles right back out! Moxley is frustrated, and he snarls as he rises up. Moxley pounds the floor mat, the ref checks on him again, but Moxley says he’s still in this, he’s just pissed. The count begins, and Marina shouts from the crowd! The loophole on no cornermen is that Marina is a fan as she tells Moxley that there’s no way around, over, or under. Just go through! Garcia is also here to shout Moxley that he has to get through it for all of them! The fans also rally up, and Moxley rises again! Moxley growls as he rolls back in at 9!

Davis runs up, Moxley ducks the enzigiri! CURB STOMP!! The fans fire up again while both men are down! Moxley rises, hobbles around, and he fires himself back up! The fans are with him as he JABS! Davis fires a forearm! Moxley fires back, and the two go back and forth! Moxley fires a flurry, then HEADBUTTS! Moxley pulls hair as he HEADBUTTS again and again! Davis ROCKS Moxley right back! Davis fires a flurry in the corner, then whips corner to corner. Davis runs in and LARIATS! Moxley follows to LARIAT! But Davis SHOTGUNS in return! Moxley springs up to KING KONG LARIAT! The fans fire up as Moxley and Davis are down again!

Moxley rises, he blinks the blood from his eyes, but Davis also rises up. Davis ROCKS Moxley, but Moxley ROCKS Davis! The fans cheer Moxley and boo Davis as the shots keep going! They stand, Davis fires another shot, but Moxley puts his hands back?! Moxley eggs Davis on, so Davis ROCKS him! And ROCKS him again! And again! Moxley stays on his feet to fire off forearms in return! Davis ROCKS Moxley again! Moxley drops to a knee, stands back up, but then drops again! Davis storms up, Moxley slips around to have a SLEEPER! But Davis slips around, and has the SLEEPER on Moxley!

Moxley reaches out, but Davis drops back! REAR NAKED CHOKE, with the body scissors! The fans rally as Moxley endures, fights up, and he pries the hold open to then roll through, REAR NAKED CHOKE on Davis!! Davis flails, but ends up in the BULLY CHOKE!! Davis powers up, but Moxley jumps on to be a backpack! Davis just CANNONBALLS into buckles!! The fans fire up while both men are down again! Moxley rolls to the apron, Davis pursues, then he drags Moxley up. The fans freak out as Davis lifts, but Moxley slips under this time! Davis runs up, Moxley dodges, and Davis POSTS himself!

Moxley hurries back into the ring, looks around, and the fans rally up. Moxley sees Davis stand, and now Davis is busted open! Davis staggers, Moxley DIVES, and into the barriers, and almost into the crowd! The fans fire up as Moxley then HAMMERS and ELBOWS away on the forehead wound! Moxley gets Davis back into the ring, then hobbles his way around. Moxley climbs, aims, and leaps over Davis as he rushes in! But Davis BLINDSIDE LARIATS! Then deadlift GERMAN SUPLEXES! Moxley flounders, the fans rally, but Davis runs the ropes! Davis hits the REB- NO, Moxley slips under, underhooks, DEATH RIDER DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!!

The fans fire up again as Davis survives! Moxley is a bit stunned, but Davis fixes his own neck! Davis goes to a corner, roars and runs up, but Moxley ducks! Moxley fires fast hands from all sides, and the fans fire up as it just keeps going! Moxley HEADBUTTS again and again, but Davis LARIATS!! Davis hobbles, he gut wrenches, but Moxley slips through! BRUTALIZER!!! The fans cheer, but Davis tries to fight it! Moxley shifts to a SLEEPER! Davis endures, reaches out, but Moxley has it on tight! Davis still fights up, up, but Moxley jumps on again! Davis is fading! But then he gets a second wind! Only for it to fade away! Davis falls, HE’S OUT! MOXLEY WINS!!

The Death Riders jump the railing to celebrate with their leader! Moxley still smacks the steel steps with a steel chair, the remnants of his frustration still there. But in the end, Moxley wins another one, proving that he is strong in body, mind, and soul! The Death Riders help Moxley back to his feet and they head out. Will nothing ever stop Moxley now that he’s truly unbreakable?

 

AEW World Championship Clockwork Carnage!

The Aerial Assassin made it through Grand Slam: France with this title, poised to compete in a match of his own making. Combining the best parts of the Casino Gauntlet and an Ironman Match, Will Ospreay is putting himself to the test against Samoa Joe, Darby Allin, Adam Copeland, Ricochet, Konsouke Takeshita, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, and even Kazuchika Okada! Phase one is the elimination round, who survives to phase two’s 15 minute scramble?

Well, to start, we get Will Ospreay! Bad luck for the champ? Maybe, but Ospreay wouldn’t have it any other way! And starting against him is The Alpha! Konosuke may have missed out on the IWGP Heavyweight Championship recently, but can he take the AEW World Championship for his own?

The bell rings, the two run up, and Ospreay BOOTS! The forearms fly, and we have three minutes before someone else joins in! The shots keep going, and Ospreay fires up! The fans fire up as Ospreay fires off, then he eggs Konosuke on. Konosuke swings, Ospreay dodges, and Ospreay ROCKS Konosuke! Then CHOPS! Ospreay whips, Konosuke reverses, but Ospreay ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Konosuke tumbles out, the fans join Ospreay in shouting, “OI! OI! OI!” and Ospreay aims! PLANCHA! Down goes Konosuke and the fans fire up again! Ospreay talks a little trash, drags Konosuke up and puts him in the ring.

Ospreay stalks Konosuke, drags him up, and CHOPS! Konosuke stumbles to ropes but Ospreay bumps him off buckles. Ospreay CHOPS, but Konosuke fires boxing elbows! Konosuke ROCKS, whips, but Ospreay handsprings to RED DOT GAMANGIRI! Cover, TWO! Ospreay stays cool while Konosuke goes to a corner. Ospreay runs up, Konosuke puts him on the apron. Osprey ROCKS Konosuke, springboards, but Konosuke THROWS him from the top rope! The fans fire up as Konosuke aims, but Ospreay dodges the boot! Konosuke fights the full nelson, ducks the hook kick, then whips, only for Ospreay to reverse. TAKESHITA LINE hits first!

Ospreay tumbles out, Konosuke builds speed, and he FLIES! Down goes Ospreay and the fans fire up again! Konosuke high-fives the front row, and the countdown is done! Third is Speedball! The fans cheer as Bailey hurries down the ramp and to the apron. Bailey RAMS Konosuke, slingshots to sunset flip, TWO! Konosuke dodges, Bailey handsprings over and RANAS! Bailey kips up while the fans fire up! Bailey PLANCHAS, but lands on the apron as Konosuke moves. Konosuke DECKS Bailey, BOOTS Ospreay, then BOOTS him again! The fans fire up, and Konosuke CLUBS Ospreay. Konosuke reels Ospreay in, suplxes, but Bailey makes a save!

Bailey blocks a kick, Ospreay CHOPS, and the United Empire whip to atomic drop, KICK, and STANDING SKY TWISTER! Cover, TWO! SHOOTING STAR! TWO! DOUBLE PENALTY KICK! Konosuke bails out, Ospreay and Bailey look at each other, and the fans like where this is going. Bailey and Ospreay say crowns up, but Konosuke barrels in and DOUBLE LARIATS! The fans fire up, and the countdown is down already. Fourth is The One & Only Ricochet! But he says hold it, hold it! He wants to work with Konosuke against the Empire! Then they can guarantee a new champ. Konosuke trusts Ricochet and they each stomp someone.

Ricochet kicks Ospreay out, then he and Konosuke double whip Bailey to a corner. Konosuke sends Ricochet in for a LARIAT! Konosuke adds a LARIAT, but Ricochet rolls Konosuke up! TWO, and Konosuke kicks low! Then he SLAPS that bald head! The fans cheer as Konosuke whips, but Ricochet rolls off Konosuke’s back! Ricochet then ducks ‘n’ dodges, rolls back, and RANAS! Konosuke tumbles, Ricochet DROPKICKS him out! Ricochet builds speed, and FOSBURY FLOPS onto Ospreay! Ricochet returns tot he ring, wrenches and kicks Bailey, then whips. Bailey reverses, Ricochet goes up and over and handsprings away!

The fans boo but Ricochet whips Darby into more barriers! Ricochet goes back into the ring, he scuffs Ospreay, then builds speed, only for Ospreay to DUMP him to the apron! What a photo finish that was! Ospreay scores the needed third fall, and if this is the historic first one, what more can we expect from the future? As for Ospreay and Cope, Cope is heated and he shoves Ospreay! Then he offers a handshake. Ospreay cools off, he accepts the handshake, and the fans cheer. But Cope brings Ospreay in close to let him know, they’ll meet again. Ospreay looks forward to it. Will the Aerial Assassin’s story continue to be a heart-pounding thriller?

My Thoughts:

Another awesome PPV from AEW, but the Tailgate Brawl did not need Wardlow, Jake Doyle & Josh Alexander destroying three poor randos. But I get it, they again pulled the “overtime” move with the preshow main event, and that is easier to do when you really do have more on the card. Divine Dominion getting back on top was a logical move, and we got a very fun 12 Man Tag. FTR VS MCMG was awesome, and them “going over” from Tailgate Brawl to PPV was also a fitting way for these top teams to be on PPV, as they deserve. MCMG winning this first match of the series was a bit surprising but a great move, because it puts FTR on the proverbial ropes.

As I said for the Dynamite-Collision super show, Triangle of Madness gave the go-home math that Mone was going to find a way to win, and she did. It certainly feels like Willow Nightingale’s return will lead to another chapter between her and Mone, probably at Full Gear. Nick Wayne winning the tiebreaker was quite the surprise, but it really works in story. Jericho could go back on his word about apologizing, or he could start working with Nick Wayne. The tag title match was awesome, and I appreciate that the one moment ProtoJet wasn’t on the same page is the one thing that costs them. We might get Kyle VS Kevin from this, as it is certainly the Don Callis Family signature to have members feud with each other. But if someone leaves the family, is it Kevin or Kyle?

Great Fatal 4 Way for the TBS title, and while I was hoping Aminata was finally winning a title, Perse finding a way to win is fine. They likely want to wait until Maya World is back to full health so she can get her rematch and maybe take the title back. Andrade VS Ciampa was awesome, and I really liked them leaning into the pants and the secondary trunks. Ciampa parodying his opponents is a great trend, from the middle fingers with Okada to the selfies with Andrade. Great win for Andrade, but I wonder how long we’re gonna have to wait for Andrade challenging Ospreay.

Awesome trios title match, and of course they went to the third fall. I did not think Hangman, Brody & Bandido were winning out, though. Instead of Hangman being lost and unsure of what to do, maybe it’s Swerve who must soul search. This does allow New Level to go for the World Tag titles, though. I should’ve known Moxley VS Davis would get bloody. And after all this time, I am glad to see this is when and where they find a way around the ringside ban rule by just having someone in the crowd. And this is again such a great way to pay tribute to Pac, because Moxley was fighting through the grief and even using it as fuel to beat Davis.

And of course, Clockwork Carnage was awesome. The order of entry made so much sense, with Ospreay running the gauntlet and perhaps his toughest challenge in Samoa Joe entering last. Ospreay winning out is great, but Cope got a great showing in his comeback and how close he got to winning. I think that itself is foreshadowing Cope VS Ospreay before Cope’s career is over in 2027.
