Stone says it’s a really busy night, but she says she just needs five minutes. But then Natalya walks in and says she knows exactly who Stone has time for: The Lowkey Legend, aka Nattie. Nattie says tonight, she is tapping out Jaida Parker again! Thea says Jaida might actually beat Nattie.

Nattie says the reason Layla Diggs got hurt is cuz she couldn’t hang. She’s just wondering what Thea’s excuse is. Wow, no need to go there… Stone says no, let’s not do this here. Does Nattie need something? Nattie says tonight, she’s ending Jaida Parker! Nattie heads out, Stone apologizes to Thea but no time to talk now, but maybe later. Stone heads out, what will it take for the Grown-Ass Woman to feel like she matters? And will the Lowkey Legend put Jaida away for good? Or will she learn Miss Parker don’t play like that?

Six Man Tag: Saquon Shugars, Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno VS DarkState!

While The Sugar Man was scrambling around to look for someone, anyone, to team with him against his former friends, he got lucky that the Scottish Supernova & El Freestyler were here. Noam was hesitant, but Romeo convinced him that this was just as big an opportunity for them as it was for Shugars. Can #Daromeo get into the tag title conversation while helping Shugars get his sweet revenge? Or will Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin & Cutler James remind us that when DarkState strikes, ain’t nobody safe?

Well speaking of nobody’s safe, Saquon takes the fight to DarkState at the ramp! Dar & Romeo hurry to back him up, and the fans fire up as the brawl is on! The Maiden of Metal is feeling frustrated. She lost out on the Women’s North American Championship because she was too busy trying to kick Izzi Dame’s teeth out. People say this is the best women’s division in the world, but she didn’t think it would be chaotic like the mosh pits back home. Thea Hail says you’re telling her! She can’t even get 30 seconds with their GM. This is ridiculous. But at least everyone else got opportunities, Thea’s got nothing. Skylar Raye says now you’re telling her! She’s been trying to get going since LFG Season 2. But hey, they all gotta start somewhere, and she’s gonna start with Reina Volcan tonight.

Jaida Parker says Skylar is gonna get this. Meanwhile, she’s still got Nattie all up in her business, and she don’t even go here! Though it’s not like Raw or SmackDown are missing her. Kendal Grey brings up that Jaida’s to blame for having to deal with Nattie in the first place. Jaida gets heated, Wren Sinclair says you can’t just say that. Jaida says no, it’s cool. She gets it, but she’ll finish what she started. Thea asks who hasn’t been upset and said things they don’t mean. She’s been here a long time, she gets it. But go kick that ass, Jaida! You, too, Skylar! And Wren asks if Kendal has thought about what she’s gonna say to Lola Vice tonight.

Kendal says no, but they’re up next so she’ll figure it out. The NXT Women’s Champion heads out, Wren right behind her. Will Kendal and Lola be able to keep things civil before their rematch? Or will these combustible elements catch fire tonight?

NXT returns as Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair make their entrance.

The fans cheer the NXT Women’s Champion and the WWE Women’s Speed Champion, and they both step inside the ring. Then Lola Vice makes her entrance, still one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions. They get mics, and Lola says, “Hola, NXT~!” The fans say, “Hola Lola~!” Lola and Kendal also say hola, and Kendal says while it would’ve been nice to run it back with Kelani or even Kali, she’s glad Lola won. Why? So Kendal can prove it wasn’t a fluke? Lola says Kendal would’ve been better off with one of them, because Lola worked too damn hard for too damn long to step to the side.

Lola told Kendal that she’d dominate this division one day, but that’d be when Lola was done, and she ain’t done! Vice City continues to grow. She bided her time, she took every shot to the chin and kept moving forward. First it was Lyra, then Roxanne, then Stephanie, then Jacy, and then finally, FINALLY, it was Lola’s time! The fans cheer that! Kendal says she gets that. Lola became everything everyone said she could be, but then she ran into Kendal. Lola says a few weeks ago, Kendal walked in here. She was nervous, overwhelmed, shy, it was cute. Kendal told everyone that when she looked at Lola, she was looking at a champion. And Kendal was right.

But all Lola saw when she looked at Kendal was someone who needed validation. Kendal says she doesn’t need validation, this title IS validation! And unlike Lola, she didn’t need years to prove she belonged here, and she will not apologize for that. Lola says that’s true, Kendal got here fast. But let’s ese how fast it all comes falling down. Because the mirror doesn’t lie. With or without the title, Lola looks like a champion. Lola sees a woman who is secure in herself, a woman who knows her self and her worth. But what does Kendal see? Someone shy, insecure, and vulnerable. Kendal says call her what you want, but she’s not weak.

Kendal comes out here being honest with herself, and with all the fans! And to be honest with Lola, there isn’t a woman back there, or out here, that could beat Kendal at her best! The fans cheer that, but Lola says Kendal beat her once. For one night and one night only, Kendal was the better woman. Kendal might’ve won in a match, but she can’t win in a fight. Wren doesn’t like where this is going, but Kendal says yeah, she knows where it’s going, too! And she thinks that’s the perfect idea! What better way to prove herself, and what better way to settle this? Lola says Kendal should think about that first. Because where Lola plans on taking Kendal, Kendal would get exposed.

So Lola says she’ll give Kendal a week to train. August 4th, bring that title to the UNDERGROUND! Kendal says hell yeah! Iron Survivor VS Queen of the Underground, so Kendal can beat Lola on her turf! Lola says Kendal doesn’t sound nervous this time, but she should be. Once Lola knocks Kendal out and gets her title back, Lil’ Miss Pick Me will need to be picked up off the floor. Kendal says that’s cute. But when she gets done whooping Lola’s ass, she can go back to shaking it! The fans are all fired up, but who brings the heat when the proverbial gloves come off?

Hank Walker w/ Tank Ledger VS Keanu Carver!

Tank Ledger did what he could to avenge his Big Belly brother, but now Hank is gonna handle things himself! Will it be HONK HONK here tonight? Or is the One Man Demolition Crew about to carve Hank up?

EK puts Keanu in the ring, Hank ‘n’ Tank give a HONK HONK before the BELLY SANDWICH! Then a scoop for the GRIDIRON! EK goes up, up, and MOONSAULTS! EK and the boys get payback on Keanu for all his brutality and bullying, but will this only make Keanu come back meaner and more violent?

And The BOAT spots Thea sulking on the side. Nattie says Thea should be happy they bumped into each other. If Thea wants help, Nattie is happy to welcome her to the Dungeon and train her into something relevant again. You’ve seen what Nattie’s already done for Karmen Petrovic & Nikkita Lyons. And clearly, whatever Thea is doing on her own, it’s not really working. Thea can aspire to be a legend like Nattie, or she can be a “soft b*tch” like Jaida Parker. Thea says she doesn’t mind Jaida. It’s Nattie’s attitude Thea doesn’t like. Karmen says she’d reconsider that if she were Thea. Or not. They’re fine either way.

The crew heads out, and Lyons even snatches Thea’s towel! Thea says she really hopes Jaida punches Nattie’s teeth out, genuinely. Will Miss Parker humble the Lowkey Legend for the good of everyone? Or will the crew help The BOAT stay afloat?

Shiloh Hill visited Danhausen’s lab!?

It was just last night that the LFG Season 2 Champion startled “Mr. Hausen” with his visit, and asked if he could just call him “Dan.” No, it’s Danhausen, one word. Oh, okay. Shiloh introduced himself and shook Danhausen’s hand. Danhausen says yes, the master of the dark web! Danhausen knows him! Shiloh loves the lab. Danhausen thanks Shiloh, and asks if he’s ever been experimented on. Not today, but Shiloh can’t, he’s actually here to ask for help. See, this guy, Tristan Angels, is super obnoxious and really British. Tristan’s really jealous of Shiloh for becoming Mr. NXT, and then smashed Shiloh’s fake tooth. Can he get a replacement?

Oh, Shiloh’s a tooth guy? Shiloh shows off the gap. Nice! So Shiloh needs a tooth? Yeah, Shiloh knows Danhausen has a collection, so maybe he could use one. Danhausen looks through and hands Shiloh a really nice one. But that’ll cost quite a lot of human moneys. Um, Shiloh doesn’t have any on him right now. Does Danhausen accept bitcoin? Bit what? Y’know, Cryptocurrency, from the computer. Oh, Crypt Currency? Well, yeah, that’d work. Shiloh hands Danhausen a thumb drive. Shiloh says it’s technically stolen, but if Danhausen’s cool with that, so is Shiloh. Yes, Danhausen will figure it out. See you later!

Shiloh leaves, and Danhausen hopes that wasn’t one of the cursed teeth. That’d be very bad for everyone. Not Danhausen, though, so not his problem. Wait, what? Is Shiloh about to unleash a force he does not comprehend?!

Jaida Parker VS Natalya w/ Karmen Petrovic & Nikkita Lyons!

The first time around, Miss Parker could not endure the Sharpshooter, and that win not only broke world records, it grew the Lowkey Legend’s ego exponentially. Will Nattie continue padding her stats? Or can Jaida turn things around and sink The BOAT?

The bell rings and the fans fire up as the two circle. Jaida then TACKLES Nattie, rains down shots, but Nattie kicks her away. Nattie eggs Jaida on, then tells her team to move in. Lyons gets on the apron but Jaida DECKS her! Karmen gets away, Nattie rolls Jaida up, TWO! Nattie hurries to headlock and takeover but Jaida rolls free. The fans rally as the two reset. Nattie slaps, Jaida SLAPS back! Nattie headlocks for another takeover, but Jaida rolls free again. The fans applaud as these two reset again. The fans chant “NATTIE SUCKS!” and that upsets her. Nattie headlocks, Jaida fires body shots, and Jaida headlocks.

Nattie powers up and out, but Jaida RUNS Nattie over! Jaida wants after Nattie but Nattie hurries to the ropes. Jaida asks, “Who’s soft now?!” The fans cheer Jaida on while she waits. Nattie and Jaida reset, circle, and Nattie kicks low. Nattie waistlocks, she wrangles Jaida, but Jaida fights up. Jaida headlocks, they go around, and Jaida wrenches to wristlock. Jaida YANKS the arm, wrenches, and YANKS again! Jaida kicks Nattie down, eggs her on, but Nattie UP KICKS! Jaida grins, but then Nattie SLAPS! Jaida SLAPS again, but Nattie slips around to waistlock. The fans fire up as Jaida LARIATS again! Jaida runs up on Nattie, blocks boots, and she CHOPS! Nattie is in the ropes, Jaida CHOPS again, and she runs to TEARDROP! The fans fire up for the high-stepping! Jaida then runs up on Nattie, but the crew gets Nattie outta there! The fans boo but Jaida just runs to WRECK Karmen with a dropkick! But Nattie CHOP BLOCKS Jaida! The fans boo but Nattie and crew talk a lot of trash while NXT goes picture in picture.

Nattie drags Jaida up, puts her in the ring, and snapmares her into ropes! Jaida clutches her leg, but Nattie stomps her to the corner. Nattie kicks Jaida, then goes out to drag her into the POST! Nattie SLAMS Jaida’s leg off the post! And then she ties the legs up, and just like Uncle Bret, HANGING FIGURE FOUR! The ref reprimands, Nattie lets go, and the crew cheers her on. Nattie high-fives Lyons & Karmen, talks a bit of smack on Vic Joseph & Booker T, then goes back to Jaida. Nattie drags Jaida up to CLUB her down, then drags her around. Nattie ELBOW DROPS onto a leg, then pulls on the leg! Jaida endures, reaches out, but Nattie CLUBS the leg!

Jaida pushes against Nattie, gets her leg up and over, and STOMPS Nattie! Nattie lets Jaida’s arm go, and both women snarl as they stand up. Nattie KICKS, Jaida CHPOS, but Nattie CLUBS Jaida down! Nattie drags Jaida over, stomps away on her leg, then TWISTS it! Jaida scrambles to ropes, Nattie mocks the high-stepping, then Nattie slaps Jaida around. Nattie stands Jaida up but Jaida fires hands! Nattie CLUBS Jaida down again! Nattie has the legs, she drags Jaida, and Nattie steps through for a toehold. Nattie then ties the legs up in an INDIAN DEATHLOCK! Jaida endures as Nattie puts on the pressure, then she slips through!

Jaida floats to a headlock, but Nattie has the ROPEBREAK! Jaida lets go, YANKS Nattie back, and clamps on the RINGS OF SATURN! Robert Stone is back on the phone.

He thanks whoever that they got the deal made, and car service is on its way, he can’t wait to see them. Kelani Jordan is impatient and wants the call to end already. Stone says he’s all hers. Lani wants him to rewatch the match last week, and at three, she was still up! The ref can’t count! Stone says that was borderline. Borderline!? Is he blind?! LANI should be #1 contender right now! Stone says sorry, but the referee’s decision is final. Final?! Yes, final. And he calls himself a man of integrity! Lani says she got screwed over again! Lani storms off, OTM steps in. Stone is glad to see them, he got their message and it is a done deal: OTM VS BirthRight next week.

Lucien Price & Bronco Nima do appreciate that, but there’s something else they gotta talk about. Oh, is this about AAA and NXT having the combo show on the same day? And with Nima being both NXT and AAA, he’s just gotta choose which show he’s gonna do. OTM nod, but they wait on Stone. Stone is a bit nervous and says they could talk about this in private then. Nima says odale, let’s do that. Price tells Nima to just hit him up later. Price heads out, are there cracks starting to form in OTM’s foundation?

Shawn Spears VS Niko Vance w/ Izzi Dame!

A leader being kicked out of the faction they helped create, then going back for revenge on the mutineers. That’s a tale as old as time in pro-wrestling, and it is painfully true for The Chair Man and The Culling. But will Spears show everyone the truth that there’s still much for The Culling to learn? Or will Niko prove the students have indeed surpassed the master?

NXT returns as Spears makes his entrance. Despite The Culling redoing his narration, Spears still has the same exact entrance. But then surprise! He snuck in from the crowd side! Spears spins Niko around to fire hands! The bell rings and Spears LARIATS Niko up and out! The fans fire up and Spears goes out to SMACK Niko off the apron! Spears tries again but Niko blocks and ROCKS Spears! Niko ROCKS Spears, whips him at the steps, but Spears goes up and over! Izzi is there, Spears considers giving her what for, but then Niko runs in! Niko leaps off the steps, only for Spears to BODY BLOW! The fans cheer Spears as he CHOPS Niko!

Spears puts Niko back in the ring, hurries after, but Niko RUNS him over! Spears goes to a corner, Niko throws hands, but the fans boo. Niko stalks Spears, SMACKS him off buckles, then snarls while the fans boo. Niko stands Spears up, but Spears CHOPS! And CHOPS again! But Niko body blows! Niko ROCKS Spears, whips him to ropes, but Spears reverses. Niko ducks ‘n’ dodges, but runs into a THESZ PRESS! Spears rains down fast hands, then scrapes his laces off Niko’s face! The fans cheer but Izzi is upset.

Spears bumps Niko off buckles again, and the fans chant “TEN! TEN! TEN!” Spears whips corner to corner, Niko slides to a stop, and Niko comes back to LARIAT! Niko snarls again and brings Spears up. Niko CLUBS away on Spears’ neck, puts him in a corner, then fires forearms. The ref counts, Niko stops, and Niko stomps Spears down. The fans boo but Izzi soaks up the heat. Niko drags Spears up to ROCK him again! Spears goes to the corner, Niko whips him corner to corner, but Spears comes back to LARIAT! The fans fire up for Spears while Niko bails out. Spears goes up the corner! But Izzi gets Niko to safety!

The fans boo, but Spears hops down and DIVES! But Niko catches Spears! Spears ELBOWS free, then suplexes Niko to the floor! The fans rally up for Spears, and he stares Izzi down. Spears goes to the desk, brings Niko up, but Izzi says don’t do it! That distraction lets Niko scoop and POWERSLAM on the floor! The fans boo but The Culling stands tall while NXT goes to break.

NXT returns as Niko stands Spears up, says Spears wanted this, and he BODY BLOWS! Spears goes to a corner, Niko storms over, but Spears BOOTS him away! Niko staggers, comes back, but into another BOOT! And then Spears CHOPS! The fans “WOO~” as Spears CHOPS again! Niko kicks low, runs, but Spears TOSSES Niko up and out! Niko tumbles but he hurries back to the apron! Niko goes up the corner, but Spears springs up and SUPER BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES! The fans fire up with “TEN! TEN! TEN!” as Spears atomic drops, CHOPS, and repeat! Spears CHOPS again, whips, but Niko reverses. Spears still LARIATS Niko!

Spears kicks, KICKS, and short arm LARIATS! The fans fire up with Spears, he waits on Niko, but Izzi is creeping! Spears is momentarily distracted, but he kicks, only for Niko to block! Niko spins Spears and HEADBUTTS! Then he reels Spears in, SWINGING DDT! Cover, TWO! Spears survives and the fans fire up! Izzi is upset, Niko argues the count, but the count was fair. Spears rises, eggs Niko on, and Niko CLUBS him! Spears eggs Niko on more, so Niko BOOTS him! Spears tumbles out, and he dares Niko to come after him! Niko storms outside, but Spears DECKS him! Spears SMACKS Niko off the steel steps!

Spears puts Niko back in, then he grabs his signature chair! The fans cheer that, and Spears storms into the ring! The ref says don’t do it, but Niko says yes, do it! Izzi dares Spears to do it, and fans want Spears to hit Izzi! He doesn’t have to, LIZZY RAIN is after her! Lizzy and Izzi brawl, and Spears pulls an Eddie! He SMACKS the mat then plays dead! The ref calls it, Spears wins!

The fans cheer that! Niko is pissed, but more refs rush out here to keep him from attacking with the chair! It seems The Culling really does have more to learn, but will they have to learn their lesson the hard way?

Robert Stone talks with Kam Hendrix.

The NXT GM needs a straight answer: What is his actual health status? Kam Hendrix did Main Event matches, and Mason Rook is itching to get his payback on NXT. Kam says bad news, he had a major setback. He’s back to 67.2%. Is he sure? Yeah, we can’t rush recovery, Kam has to think of his body. But specifically 67.2? Myles Borne & Tavion Heights walk by and Myles says that leg is attached to a coward. Kam says Myles can only say that cuz Kam’s not cleared. Tavion asks what they’re even doing right now. Myles tells Stone that he’s thinking of an NQCC reunion of sorts. Myles & Tavion can rock being a team real quick, and maybe they can get a tag title match.

Tavion asks if Myles is deadass right now, and Kam “hobbles” while pointing out Myles still has to defend his North American Championship. Myles says true, but he’ll but his title on the line next week if it gets him and Tavion a tag title match. Tavion again wants Myles to take this serious. He is serious! Well, Stone would have to find Myles an opponent… Tavion steps aside to let the excitement out, and Myles says Kam could be his opponent, but the health meter says he’s nowhere ready. Kam claims he hears a buzzing from his phone, but no, there isn’t any. Kam looks at his texts and claims he just got cleared! He’s at 107%! Kam hopes Myles is ready to defend that title!

Stone sarcastically says it’s a miracle, but hey, if Kam really is cleared, then yes, he can have his match with Myles. And if Myles wins, then he and Tavion can have their tag title match against Vanity Project. Tavion says that’s easy money! Kam says buckle up, playboy, time for the big return of #LightsKamAction! Stone wishes everyone luck, and Tavion says this is why he loves Myles! Will Myles go the distance against Kam, then swipe right on getting the titles with his best friend? Or will we see the start of the #KamEra?

Reina Volcan VS Skylar Raye!

The Force of Nature said it herself, she is a combination of beauty, brawn, and brutality, and she vows to leave no one standing in her wake. Will the Volcan erupt in her NXT in-ring debut? Or will Skylar find that ray of hope?

The bell rings, the two tie up, and Reina THROWS Skylar down! The fans chant, “Reina’s Gonna Kill~ You!” but Skylar still gets up. Skylar storms up, but Reina scoops her and SLAMS her! Skyla flounders back to the corner, but she tries again. They tie up, Skylar slips around to headlock, and she fights the lift. Reina powers up and out, then RUNS Skylar over! The fans cheer as things sped up, Skylar drops down then hurdles, but Reina sidesteps to SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! Skylar survives, then she dodges in the corner to KICK! Skylar fires off hands, but Reina ROCKS her in return! Skylar comes back to ELBOW, handspring, and ELBOW again!

Skylar keeps moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Reina scoops to BACKBREAKER! And then SENTON! And ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Skylar survives but Reina is just getting annoyed. Reina drags Skylar into a deep Motorcycle Stretch! Skylar endures as her arms are being bent back, and the fans rally up. Skylar rises, flips, and UP KICKS! Reina staggers, comes back, but Skylar avoids the elbow drop! Skylar fires body shots, bobs ‘n’ weaves, then ROCKS Reina! Skylar whips, Reina reverses, but Skylar SHOULDER TACKLES! The fans fire up as Skylar keeps moving, tilt-o-whirls, LA MYSTICA! Cover, TWO!

Reina has a lot of power left, but Skylar goes up a corner. Reina runs up, and she YANKS Skylar off the top! The fans fire up as Reina then torture racks Skylar for the THRASH! Skylar taps, Reina wins!

Robert Stone is in his office.

Mr. Stone says after a long night like tonight, he loves him some KFC Popcorn Chicken. But then Shiloh Hill steps in, and he looks rather out of sorts. And that’s saying something for Shiloh. Stone says he was about to dig in before the main event. Would he like some? Oh, no, probably not right now, huh? What with the Danhausen tooth thing. That’s not cursed, is it? Shiloh says no, he’s not cursed. This side of him has been here for a long time, just buried deep inside. He lets the energy in the room decide if he should let it out. But Tristan Angels is different. He tried to embarrass Shiloh. Now vengeance consumes Shiloh! The fog is coming, and Tristan will be put down!

Do you understand him!? Do you hear him?! Y-Yes, he does. Next week, Shiloh VS Tristan! Shiloh thanks Mr. Stone! This dark side really makes him hungry, how’d you know Shiloh loves KFC? Shiloh scoops up the entire order, then heads out. Stone doesn’t get to satisfy his appetite, but will we all get our fill of violence and chaos with the main event?

NXT Championship Street Fight: Tony D’Angelo VS NARAKU!

A declaration of war, a fireball trap, and red mist. These are all the things the champion has had to endure dealing with the King of Darkness. But will Tony D put this feud to bed once and for all? Or will Darkness Fall on NXT soon enough?

The introductions are made, but they don’t finish as Tony wants after Naraku already! The ref has Mike Rome skip the rest and he rings the bell. RED MIST from Naraku!! Right out the gate even! Naraku LARIATS Tony up and out, then goes out after him! Naraku drags Tony up, THROWS him into and THROUGH the barriers! The fans go nuts but Naraku drags Tony up to THROW into the steel steps! The fans fire up again as Naraku puts Tony in the ring. The fans chant “We Want Tables!” but Naraku brings the steps into the ring instead. Naraku RAMS Tony in the corner! Tony staggers and falls, Naraku covers, TWO!

Naraku snarls, and he goes back outside. Naraku looks under the ring, he brings a trash can out, and he chucks the can into the ring. Naraku adds chair after chair after chair, then even adds kendo sticks! The fans rally up as Tony blinks his eyes and tries to shake it off, but Naraku JAMS Tony up with a chair! And SMACKS him on the back with it! Tony writhes, but Naraku wedges the can in the corner. Naraku goes to Tony but Tony BODY BLOWS! Tony ROCKS Narkau, but Naraku KNEES low! Naraku scoops Tony, SLAMS him down, then sets up a quick chair square. Naraku goes to Tony, brings him around, and suplexes him onto the chairs!

Tony writhes, Narkau grins, and Naraku covers, TWO! Tony survives and the fans fire up again! The fans rally behind Tony but Naraku grabs another chair. Naraku sets that up, and it sounds like the chants are dueling now. Naraku brings Tony up, puts him in place, but Tony gets clear! Naraku STOMPS the chair apart! The fans up as Naraku hurries to bring Tony back around, reels him in, but Tony fights the lift! Tony BACKDROPS Naraku onto the chairs! Naraku scrambles out of the ring and the fans cheer Tony on. Tony crawls after Naraku, stumbles around, and he gets water to wash the mist out of his eyes. But Naraku runs up!

Tony dodges, Narkau stumbles, and Tony picks him up! SPINEBUSTER through the barriers! The fans are going nuts again as NXT goes picture in picture.

Tony slowly rises from the wreckage, then hobbles over to Naraku. Tony stands Naraku up to CLUB him on the back, and Naraku staggers away to the ramp. Tony stomps Naraku, CLUBS him, then SMACKS him off the LED stage! The graphic blinks out but Tony CLUBS Naraku along. They end up in gorilla, and Tony THROWS Naraku right behind HBK and A-Train! They get rather startled and upset but Tony keeps after Naraku. The ref reprimands, Tony argues with him, but Naraku CHOKES Tony using camera cable! Tony flails as Naraku goes after the eyes, too! Naraku shoves Tony down, then CLUBS him into going back to the stage.

Naraku picks up a light fixture, and SMACKS Tony with it! Tony staggers and stumbles, Naraku keeps him moving down the ramp. Naraku stands Tony up, but Tony fights the suplex1 tony then suplexes Naraku onto the floor! Naraku writhes, but Tony storms back up. Tony puts Naraku in the ring, then storms his way up the steel steps. Naraku grabs a kendo stick! Tony says bet, and pulls out the crowbar! It was waiting behind the steel steps, just like old times! Tony and Evil CLASH, and kendo stick loses to crowbar! Naraku panics, pleads for mercy, then runs away! Tony pursues, takes a swing, but Naraku ducks! The crowbar gets stuck in what’s left of the perch wall!

Naraku KNEES low, POSTS Tony, then drags him back into the ring. Tony flounders while Naraku brings out a LADDER! Naraku puts that in the ring as NXT returns to single picture. Tony DROPKICKS the ladder into Naraku! The fans fire up as Tony hoists the ladder up, and THROWS it down on Naraku!! The fans go nuts while the ref checks Naraku. Tony goes looking under the ring, and he brings out a TABLE! The shift into TLC is complete, and Tony puts Naraku in the ring. The fans fire up for Tony as he clears some space, then sets up the table! Tony storms back over to Naraku, drags him up, and reels him in. But Naraku kicks low!

Naraku reels Tony in, but Tony Alabama Lifts out of it! Tony aims for the table, but Naraku sunset flips! Tony rolls through, has the legs, and he CATAPULTS Naraku into the trash can! Naraku sputters, Tony covers, TWO! Naraku survives, and “This is Awesome!” as Tony brings him back around. Narkau throat chops! And then he makes Tony straddle the ropes! Tony’s D is sore, and Naraku LARIATS Tony down! Naraku goes out to look under the ring, but Tony has the ladder! Tony RAMS Naraku with it! Tony then brings Naraku around, lifts, but Naraku slips free! ENTER THE ABYSS on the floor!

The fans rally as Naraku drags Tony up, fireman’s carries, and DARKNESS FALLS down through the desk! The fans go nuts again while Tony is down in the wreckage! The ref hurries to check Tony, and he is somehow able to continue. Naraku crawls his way over, drags Tony up, and puts him in the ring. Cover, TWO!! Tony survives and Naraku is furious! The fans rally again, but Naraku powers up again. Wait, he has more?! RED- NO, Tony manages to shield it with his hands! Then Tony CLAWS Naraku’s face with his mist-covered hands! Evil staggers around, but Tony SMACKS him with the kendo stick! And again, and again, and again!

Tony uses the kendo stick to LOW BLOW Naraku! The fans fire up, and Tony drags Naraku around. Tony goes to the steel steps steps up. Tony aims for the table, DEAD TO RIGHTS!! Cover, Tony wins!

Winner: Tony D’Angelo, by pinfall (still NXT Champion)

Now that was a war! Tony more or less survives this battle with the King of Darkness, but wait! MIKE SANTANA is back on NXT!! The fans fire up as the Boricua Badass makes his way through the crowd, and it would seem the former TNA World Champion was Mr. Stone’s special guest all along! Santana high-fives fans as he makes it to ringside, and he stares Tony down. Tony holds up the belt, will he face his realest challenge yet?

My Thoughts:

A great NXT here, really wild action, but the main event was a little surprising, a little disappointing, and then surprising again. I really thought Naraku was gonna win here and force the tiebreaker at Heatwave, but nope. Tony D gets a great win tonight, only for Mike Santana to return to NXT, and who knows, he might pull a Joe Hendry where he seamlessly goes from being in TNA to being in NXT full time. Tony VS Santana is likely the Heatwave match now, which will be an awesome match, and for all I know, that is where Tony D loses the title and is allowed to move up to main roster. Santana can definitely carry this brand through the Fall stretch and into the new year.

Great Six Man Tag to open, and it’s always fun when they demolish the wall underneath the perch. I should’ve figured DarkState would win out, but clearly things aren’t done, and maybe we get something really wild for a Saquon VS Dion blowoff. Very good showing for Hank against Keanu, but I figured Keanu would win. EK Prosper making his return here was great, but like, EK has won twice in this feud, so the blowoff is gonna be Keanu winning out, right? And at this rate, Keanu won’t get the NXT Championship off Tony, he might get it off Santana or Naraku.

Good group promo from the Women’s Division, if a bit forced to have all the current Faces just talking about their stuff. Great match from Jaida VS Nattie, and really clever stuff with Thea throwing in the towel when the ref wasn’t looking. I appreciate them adding Thea to this story as Thea really does need something, and maybe, if Layla Diggs can recover quickly, she can return on Jaida’s side for a Six Woman Tag. After all, it sounds like Nattie cut her from the group. Very good promo from Lola, Kendal and Wren to set up an NXT Underground match for the women’s title, the post-SummerSlam week is gonna be strong with that on the card.

Good win for Reina Volcan in her debut, Skylar is definitely just gonna be on Evolve for awhile after this. Great stuff with Shawn Spears getting an Eddie Guerrero style win over Niko Vance, and with Lizzy still wanting a piece of Izzi, I sense a mixed tag coming. Very good promo from Myles, Tavion, and Kam, and an interesting deal being struck there. If the tag title match is contingent on Myles winning his North American title defense, I would think Myles wins. Tavion seems very genuine about this opportunity for him and Myles, since it was kinda his idea from a week or two ago, let’s just hope he doesn’t swerve Myles hard between now and that tag match…

And great stuff from Shiloh Hill tonight. I did not expect Danhausen to be on NXT, but here we are! Danhausen has checked off the top three brands because he is just that popular. Shiloh also had a good promo with Stone to properly introduce “The Fog,” his borderline alter ego, and I just knew Shiloh was gonna take all the Popcorn Chicken for himself. I would think he beats Tristan Angels next week, and perhaps definitively, so that Shiloh can start thinking about titles going towards Heatwave and beyond.
