Carmelo Hayes joins 946, Kenny Omega attacks Yota Tsuji, Chad Gable retains, and WWE NXT prepares for Halloween Havoc.
Carmelo Hayes is back in WWE, and his return has made The Bloodline’s problems considerably worse. Hayes revealed himself as the newest member of 946 during Monday’s Raw, attacking Solo Sikoa with a crowbar and helping the faction dismantle The Usos to close the show.
Elsewhere, Kenny Omega made a surprise return to New Japan at King of Pro-Wrestling, attacking IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji. Will Ospreay lost championship gold, and several major matches began taking shape for November’s Power Struggle.

Carmelo Hayes Returns to WWE, Joins 946 Against The Bloodline
Carmelo Hayes made his surprise return to WWE television Monday, revealing himself as the newest member of 946 during the closing moments of Raw’s six-man tag team main event.
The match featured Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price facing Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa in the latest confrontation between 946 and The Bloodline. Their rivalry has become increasingly personal since Solo’s abduction and subsequent return, with Roman Reigns attempting to restore stability to his family while continuing his World Heavyweight Championship reign.
Monday’s match quickly deteriorated into a chaotic fight around ringside. Jey delivered a spectacular dive from the crowd onto members of 946, while Jaida Parker responded with an aerial attack of her own. Solo eventually gained control against Keys, driving him through the announce table before returning him to the ring and preparing to deliver the Samoan Spike.
A masked individual suddenly entered and attacked Solo with a crowbar. The attacker removed his disguise to reveal Hayes, who immediately joined Keys, Nima and Price in attacking The Bloodline. The match ended without a decision, but 946 clearly won the confrontation.
Hayes’ arrival significantly changes the faction’s presentation. He brings championship experience, considerable athleticism and a different personality from the physically imposing wrestlers who have dominated the group’s early appearances.
His motivation remains unexplained, particularly because he has no immediately obvious personal connection to every member of 946. That unanswered question gives WWE another direction to explore as the rivalry moves toward Survivor Series, where The Bloodline could find itself facing an increasingly dangerous faction.
WWE Raw Results — October 12, 2026
WWE presented Monday Night Raw from the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, featuring four matches and several significant developments following Money in the Bank.
- Rey Mysterio def. Big Cass
- Roxanne Perez def. Chelsea Green
- WWE Intercontinental Championship – Chad Gable (c) def. Rey Fenix via submission to retain
- The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso & Solo Sikoa) vs. 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) ended in a no contest
Mysterio overcame a considerable size disadvantage against Cass with assistance from Dragon Lee, eventually connecting with the 619 before securing a rollup victory. Perez defeated Green in a non-title match following interference from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, giving Judgment Day another advantage in the women’s division.
Gable retained the Intercontinental Championship in one of the evening’s most competitive matches, forcing Fenix to submit to the Ankle Lock. Their post-match display of respect was followed by another confrontation involving Ethan Page, who attacked Fenix backstage before Gable intervened.
The main event never reached a decisive conclusion after Hayes’ surprise involvement, but 946 left the arena standing tall over The Bloodline.

Liv Morgan and Chelsea Green Begin Crown Jewel Rivalry
Liv Morgan’s celebration of regaining the Women’s World Championship quickly became a confrontation with Chelsea Green, establishing WWE’s women’s champion-versus-champion program for Crown Jewel.
Morgan entered Raw alongside Judgment Day following her victory over Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank. Green interrupted the celebration to address their upcoming November 7 meeting, initially attempting to approach the situation respectfully before Morgan dismissed her accomplishments.
Their confrontation eventually brought Roxanne Perez into the discussion. Perez challenged Green to an impromptu match, which became increasingly complicated when Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez interfered. Green appeared capable of winning, but after dealing with both women at ringside, she returned to the ring and walked directly into Pop Rox.
The situation deteriorated further when Green slapped Morgan during another confrontation. Judgment Day responded by attacking Green, with Morgan delivering Oblivion to leave the WWE Women’s Champion laid out.
The Crown Jewel match will determine the Women’s Crown Jewel Champion rather than unify their existing titles. Morgan has experience in that environment, having previously won the championship in 2024, while Green has an opportunity to strengthen her standing by defeating another reigning world champion.
Perez’s victory also creates an interesting complication. Although Monday’s match was non-title, defeating Green gives Perez a legitimate argument for receiving a championship opportunity once Crown Jewel concludes.
Penta Celebrates Money in the Bank as Bron Breakker Attacks Je’Von Evans
Penta opened Raw celebrating his Men’s Money in the Bank victory, but the moment ended with another vicious attack from Bron Breakker.
The new Mr. Money in the Bank entered with a customized briefcase and discussed his determination to turn Saturday’s victory into his first WWE World Championship. Je’Von Evans then made an unexpected appearance, wearing a sling and visibly suffering the effects of his dangerous fall through an ambulance roof during the Ladder Match.
Despite his condition, Evans wanted to congratulate Penta personally. The two shared a respectful moment before Breakker entered the ring and delivered another Spear to Evans, leaving medical personnel checking on the injured competitor while Penta confronted his attacker.
The segment reinforces Breakker’s refusal to accept Saturday’s outcome. He appeared close to winning the Ladder Match before Penta delivered a Mexican Destroyer onto a ladder and retrieved the briefcase, and his continued attacks on Evans create another personal rivalry.
Evans was able to appear and speak, but WWE continued portraying him as significantly injured. No independently confirmed medical diagnosis or recovery timetable has been announced, so the television presentation should not be treated as confirmation of a specific legitimate injury.
Penta remains a potential challenger for either Roman Reigns or Sami Zayn, but Breakker’s involvement creates an immediate problem before he chooses a championship target.
Oba Femi Rejects Paul Heyman’s Recruitment Attempt
Oba Femi made another significant statement Monday when he rejected an apparent recruitment attempt from Paul Heyman following his victory over Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank.
Heyman praised Femi’s accomplishments and described him as someone capable of leading WWE into the future, referencing his victories over Brock Lesnar and Reed. Femi allowed Heyman to speak before making clear that he had no interest in becoming another wrestler associated with Heyman’s influence.
The rejection was particularly pointed because Femi referenced Heyman’s relationships with Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Rather than allowing someone else to take credit for his success, Femi emphasized that he intends to establish his own identity.
His victory over Reed removed one major obstacle, while his post-event challenge to Reigns established the World Heavyweight Championship as his ultimate objective. Heyman’s interest also suggests that The Vision recognizes the threat Femi represents, especially after Reed failed to defeat him despite outside assistance.
WWE has not announced a match between Femi and Reigns, who remains occupied with Crown Jewel and his family’s conflict with 946. Femi nevertheless continues looking like one of the most credible challengers waiting beyond those commitments.
Kenny Omega Returns to NJPW, Attacks IWGP Champion Yota Tsuji
Kenny Omega made a surprise appearance at New Japan’s King of Pro-Wrestling, attacking IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji and Boltin Oleg following Monday’s main event.
Tsuji had successfully defended against G1 Climax 36 winner Ryohei Oiwa in a match lasting more than 35 minutes. Oiwa repeatedly threatened the champion through technical wrestling and submissions, but Tsuji eventually connected with the decisive Fire Blaster to retain.
Following the match, Omega appeared in a prerecorded video challenging Tsuji and questioning whether New Japan’s current generation could measure up to its previous stars. Tsuji responded that Omega would need to come to Japan if he wanted the opportunity.
Boltin Oleg then entered the ring, apparently seeking a championship opportunity of his own. Before that confrontation could develop, Omega appeared in person and attacked both men, delivering a V-Trigger and One-Winged Angel before standing tall.
Omega proposed a three-way match involving himself, Tsuji and Oleg, immediately creating another potential direction for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
The development is significant because Omega’s previous championship reign and legendary matches against Kazuchika Okada helped establish him as one of New Japan’s defining international stars. His return connects the promotion’s current championship picture with one of its most successful former performers.
No championship match involving Omega has been officially confirmed. However, his appearance immediately raises the stakes for Tsuji as New Japan begins establishing its major programs for Wrestle Kingdom.
NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling Results — October 12, 2026
New Japan presented King of Pro-Wrestling from Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, featuring nine matches, five championship defenses and one title change.
- Shingo Takagi & Daiki Nagai def. Hirooki Goto & Tatsuya Matsumoto
- Yuya Uemura, Taichi & El Desperado def. SANADA, Yujiro Takahashi & Yoshinobu Kanemaru
- Hechicero & Boltin Oleg def. Zack Sabre Jr. & Hartley Jackson
- Konosuke Takeshita & Toru Yano def. Ren Narita & Shun Skywalker
- NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship – OSKAR, Yuto-Ice & Jeff Cobb def. Will Ospreay, Great-O-Khan & HENARE (c) to win the titles
- NEVER Openweight Championship – Aaron Wolf (c) def. Kosei Fujita to retain
- IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship – Gabe Kidd (c) def. Shota Umino to retain
- IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship – YOH (c) def. Robbie Eagles to retain
- IWGP Heavyweight Championship – Yota Tsuji (c) def. Ryohei Oiwa to retain
Beyond Omega’s surprise return, the event featured several developments with implications for Power Struggle. United Empire lost championship gold, Gabe Kidd survived a violent challenge from Shota Umino, and Taichi emerged as another potential challenger for the Global Heavyweight Championship.
Jon Moxley also appeared through a prerecorded video announcing his intention to return to New Japan. Shingo Takagi responded by demanding a match, adding another potential international attraction to the company’s upcoming schedule.
Will Ospreay Loses Championship as United Empire Tensions Escalate
Will Ospreay’s return to New Japan ended with a championship loss and another confrontation involving Callum Newman, continuing the increasingly complicated situation within United Empire.
Ospreay teamed with Great-O-Khan and HENARE to defend the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship against OSKAR, Yuto-Ice and Jeff Cobb. The challengers entered with momentum after the Knockout Brothers recently regained the IWGP Tag Team Championship from Great-O-Khan and HENARE.
The finish developed when HENARE accidentally struck Great-O-Khan with a headbutt, allowing the Knockout Brothers to deliver their finishing combination and secure the championship victory.
Newman’s involvement after the match made the situation considerably more personal. He attacked members of the winning team before confronting Ospreay, eventually swinging a sword toward his former mentor before backing away.
The incident continued a rivalry centered on leadership and loyalty within United Empire. Ospreay founded the faction but now spends much of his time competing for AEW, while Newman has assumed a leadership role in Japan and repeatedly questioned Ospreay’s commitment.
Ospreay subsequently challenged the Knockout Brothers for their IWGP Tag Team Championship at Power Struggle on November 3. The champions accepted with one condition: they would select his partner, choosing Newman.
That decision forces two increasingly hostile wrestlers to cooperate with championship gold at stake. Whether they can function as a team may become more important than the physical challenge presented by the champions.
Gabe Kidd Retains as Taichi Steps Forward
Gabe Kidd retained the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship against Shota Umino at King of Pro-Wrestling, surviving a violent encounter before receiving another challenge.
The match featured aggressive exchanges around ringside, including attacks involving the barricades and a table. Kidd eventually gained the decisive advantage by using Umino’s own Second Chapter finishing maneuver to secure the pinfall.
Following the match, Kidd challenged anyone willing to confront him, prompting Taichi to enter the ring. Taichi made clear that he intends to challenge Kidd and defend New Japan against the champion’s increasingly disrespectful behavior.
The potential matchup provides an interesting contrast between Kidd’s confrontational approach and Taichi’s experience in major championship programs. Their encounter appears positioned for Power Struggle, although the championship match still requires official confirmation.
WWE NXT Preview — October 13, 2026
WWE NXT presents an important episode tonight from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, with a new No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship set to be determined.
The show also features two Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic quarterfinal matches and a singles confrontation involving Saquon Shugars and Tristan Angels.
- NXT Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match – Tony D’Angelo vs. Myles Borne
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal – Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) vs. Chazz “Starboy” Hall & Mini Vikingo
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal – Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) vs. Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno
- Saquon Shugars vs. Tristan Angels
The biggest immediate consequence involves D’Angelo and Borne, who compete for an opportunity to challenge Grayson Waller at Halloween Havoc on October 31. Both answered Waller’s open challenge last week, prompting the champion to propose that they face one another to determine his next opponent.
The match presents an interesting contrast between D’Angelo’s experience in major NXT championship programs and Borne’s technical wrestling. Their confrontation last week also suggested that the rivalry could become personal before either man reaches Waller.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic continues with two quarterfinal matches featuring different combinations of experience and athleticism. Vanity Project’s Baylor and Smokes face Hall and Mini Vikingo, while Fraxiom takes on Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno.
Frazer and Axiom remain one of WWE’s most accomplished modern tag teams, but the tournament format provides little room for mistakes. Hall and Mini Vikingo also bring an international element through their connections to WWE Evolve and AAA.
NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan has another established challenger waiting for Halloween Havoc. Wren Sinclair earned the opportunity last week after disguising herself as Lady Shani during the No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal, ultimately eliminating Kali Armstrong before revealing her identity.
WWE has not announced a match involving Jordan and Sinclair for Tuesday, but their championship program remains another important part of NXT’s preparations for Halloween Havoc.
NXT airs tonight at 8 PM ET on The CW Network.
Monday’s developments significantly changed the direction of two major wrestling companies, with Carmelo Hayes joining 946 and Kenny Omega returning to New Japan’s IWGP Heavyweight Championship picture.
Hayes’ involvement gives The Bloodline another dangerous opponent at a time when Roman Reigns continues balancing his championship responsibilities with the increasingly complicated conflict surrounding his family.
New Japan also emerged from King of Pro-Wrestling with several important programs taking shape. Tsuji retained against Oiwa, Omega returned to challenge the champion, and Ospreay’s problems with Newman became more serious following United Empire’s championship loss.
WWE’s other developments continued establishing the consequences of Money in the Bank. Penta now holds a championship contract, Liv Morgan has begun another title reign, and Oba Femi remains determined to reach the World Heavyweight Championship without relying on Paul Heyman.
Tuesday shifts the focus toward NXT and its preparations for Halloween Havoc. With the next NXT Championship challenger being determined and the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic entering another round, the brand has an opportunity to establish several important matches before the end of October.
