The Young Bucks speak.
Matt Jackson says all is right with the world of wrestling again. Kenny Omega is AEW World Champion, and The Bucks? Well, they’re n the hunt to regain THEIR AEW World Tag Team Championships. Nick Jackson says The Elite will be back on top once again. They saw what happened after they left the ring. They were asked by Will Ospreay to give them space, and it felt like a set-up. There have clearly been issues with Jon Moxley & The Death Riders in the past, but they’ve also been able to work side-by-side with him. They know how he thinks, and he isn’t to be trusted. They don’t trust Moxley, they don’t trust Ospreay, and have seen what The Death Riders did to Cope & Cage.
Moxley & The Death Riders haven’t changed. Kenny Omega needs to be shown he can no longer trust Ospreay, because Ospreay is now a Death Rider. The Bucks aim to prove they’re the best tag team in AEW and regain those titles. But Ospreay, Moxley, The Bucks challenge you to a tag team match for Redemption! Will Matt & Nick open the eyes of their best friend before it’s too late? Or will the Aerial Assassin & Maniac prove they’re better than the best?
Adam Copeland & Christian Cage speak.
The Rated R Superstar says Dynamite was another successful title defense for C&C, but the thing is, Claudio, you keep sticking your stupid, bald, ugly-ass face in their business. Captain Charisma says this IS Cage & Cope, they’ve been around the block a time or two, and they know it’s only a matter of time until Pac shows back up and throws his hat into the ring. But C&C are the AEW World Tag Team Champions now and forever, so they’re throwing the challenge out to Claudio & Pac first! That is, if those two can get their noses out of Moxley’s ass long enough to show up. Montreal, Redemption, they get their shot! But will Cope & Cage regret giving them that opportunity?
AEW TNT Championship: Kevin Knight VS AR Fox!
Speaking of opportunities, The Jet will get his opportunity at THE AEW World Championship at Redemption, but he’s also supposed to face Darby Allin for this very title next week on Dynamite! Will Knight keep his flight plan on course? Or will Collision become the Whole Fox’n Show?
The introductions are made, but Knight goes after Fox while he’s still on the corner! The fans boo, the bell rings, and Knight HAMMERS away on Fox! Then stomps away on Fox! Knight TOSSES Fox out, the fans tell Knight off, but Knight just soaks up the heat. Knight goes out, drags Fox up, and whips him hard into the railing! Knight climbs onto the desk to flex and soak up heat, then he goes back for Fox. The fans chant for Speedball, but Knight puts Fox in the ring. Knight springboards, Fox dodges, and Fox BOOTS Knight! Fox goes up, up, and uses the ropes to get that RANA going! Fox then runs up, but Knight puts him on the apron!
Fox slides under, avoids a stomp, then KICKS Knight into the sunset flip! ONE, but Knight ends up on ropes. Fox YANKIS Knight back, and somersaults into the NECKBREAKER! The fans cheer Fox as he CHOPS Knight, then CLUBS him to a corner. Fox CHOPS again, then ROCKS him, and CHOPS him again! Knight turns things around, but Fox dodges to CHOP again! Knight flounders around, Fox stalks Knight, then Fox drags Knight up. Fox whips corner to corner, Knight reverses, but Fox puts Knight on the apron. Fox ELBOWS Knight, then goes outside. Fox sets up but Knight YANKS him down! Knight whips, but Fox tiger feints to KICK from the apron! Fox then goes to the corner, but Knight avoids the moonsault! Knight uses the desk to get up, FLYING LARIAT! The fans boo but Knight talks trash on them while Collision goes picture in picture.
Knight looms over Fox, kicks him around, then drags him back up. Knight UPPERCUTS Fox, flexes, then stalks Fox to the desk. Knight UPPERCUTS Fox down, then talks more trash on the fans. Knight stalks Fox into the ring, brings him up and scoops to SLAM! Knight pushes Fox to a cover, TWO! Knight is annoyed with the count but the count is fair. Knight stalks Fox, Fox fires body shots, and more body shots. Knight KNEES low, snapmares, then runs to SLIDING SHOULDER TACKLE! Knight flexes, but Fox ghost pins! TWO, and Knight DROPKICKS Fox down! Fox flounders, Knight brushes himself off, and Knight talks more trash on Boston.
Knight stalks Fox, drags him up, and cravats for a neck wrench. Fox endures, so Knight shifts into a COBRA TWIST while Collision goes to break.

The fans boo as Knight aims, he blows a kiss, and MOTHERSHIP UFO SPLASH!! Cover, Knight wins!
Winner: Kevin Knight, by pinfall (still AEW TNT Champion)
Fox put up a fight, but it just wasn’t enough! The Jet now moves on to Nashville, will Knight win on Dynamite to then go for another belt in Montreal?
Wait, Knight decides to stay ringside by joining commentary. He tells Schiavone that what we just saw was a preview of what happens against Darby Allin, and even that is just the appetizer to becoming #Jet2Belts at Redemption! And speaking of, his boys in the Don Callis Family are gonna make a quick meal out of whoever it is against them tonight. With that, The Machine, The Alchemist, and The Dangerous make their entrance, accompanied by Lance Archer, Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta.
Six Man Tag: Brian Cage, Hechicero & Jake Doyle w/ The Don Callis Family VS Gino Medina, Tome Filip & Nic Nolan!
The trios sort out and Doyle starts against Filip. The bell rings and Doyle BODY CHECKS Filip, then scoops him! The fans fire up as Doyle FALL AWAY SLAMS Filip! Filip flounders to his corner, Medina tags in, but so does Hechi. The fans cheer the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion as he wrenches, whips, and then JUMP KNEES Medina in the corner! The fans fire up for Cage as he drags Nolan up, and hits a TWISTING STUNNER!
Even Knight wasn’t sure what that was, but he likes it! Also, he criticizes Nolan’s one white glove like he’s Michael Jackson or something. “This ain’t Thriller, homie.” Cage reels Nolan back in, but Hechi intercepts Medina with a SLINGBLADE SLEEPER! Doyle hurries to get Filip, APRON BOMB for Filip! And then the KNEE 360 on Nolan! Cover, The Don Callis family wins!
Winners: Brian Cage, Hechicero & Jake Doyle, by pinfall

He has The Conglomeration, The Rascalz, and Komander with him! Knight says time to get outta here! Is this really what Speedball wants? Knight’s here all week! He’s beat you all anyway! Oh, and now we see The Lethal Twist looking on. Will Jay Lethal and his team pick at the bones after everyone else fights it out?
Will Ospreay & Jon Moxley speak.
The Assassin says, “Wembley Stadium is approaching fast, and one of the biggest nights of my life is approaching. I feel a bit cold. I said to Tony, ‘I need a warm-up, I need to freshen things up a little bit. Put me in the ring, find me a sparring partner.’ I got a geezer! I got a geezer who I used to battle with eight years ago over in Australia, didn’t we, Melbourne? Battling over in America, as well. Adam Brooks, old friend of mine. Used to live in my house with me mum, she loves him. We’ve grown apart since then, mate. I’ve seen you done well. I’m doing well. So do us a favor, lad: Don’t take it personal, yeah?”
Moxley then says he and The Young Bucks have been doing this dance a long time. Their territories share borders, so naturally, they’ve been enemies, and they’ve been allies, depending on what the situation called for. But Moxley doesn’t think Matt nor Nick would be surprised if he said he has always had an intrinsic disdain for all things “Elite.” So Montreal, at Redemption, as always, this will be… a little bit personal. The Death Riders are ready for all comers, but will they own All Elite Wrestling? Or will Redemption be a Superkick Party?
The Dogs speak.
David Finlay & Clark Connors are very serious as they step forward. Finlay starts with, “Hi, we’re The Dogs.” Connors says if you’ve adopted dogs with their names recently, please put them down. Because the Bang Bang Gang is not what they pretend to be. They promote gang violence, and banging, neither of which have a place in AEW. Juice Robinson is an unhinged maniac pretending to be a doctor. This is not the work of someone mentally sane. Austin & Colten Gunn have a multi-generational history of misogyny. Finlay stops Connors from doing the crotch chop. Ace Austin’s haircut is… problematic.
And Jay White, how dare you call Finlay a “nepo-baby b*tch.” It is not Finlay’s fault Jay White’s father is a nobody. So to make AEW a safer space, join The Dogs in saying #GunnsDown. The PSA was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but who will have the last laugh between these former friends turned bitter enemies?
Will Ospreay VS Adam Brooks!
Just as he said, the Aerial Assassin gets to throw down with “ol’ Brooksy” after years of traveling the world on different paths. But will Ospreay be razor sharp for not just Dynamite next week but for Redemption there after? Or will he find himself falling off “The Loose Ledge?”
The fans cheer the little reunion, and Ospreay shakes hands and hugs it out with Brooks. Moxley’s not for that, but then the bell rings and Brooks BOOTS Ospreay! Moxley says that’s WHY he didn’t like that! Brooks ROCKS Ospreay, CHPOS him in the corner, then ROCKS him again! And CHOPS! Brooks scrapes Ospreay’s face off the ropes, but stops as the ref counts. Brooks wags his finger while the fans boo, but Ospreay CHOPS! Ospreay bumps Brooks off buckles, fires forearms, then CHOPS again! The fans fire up and Ospreay fires more forearms. Brooks KNEES low, then whips, but Ospreay ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA!
Brooks tumbles, the fans fire up, and they join Ospreay in shouting, “OI! OI! OI!” Ospreay PLANCHAS to take Brooks down again, and the fans fire back up! Ospreay high-fives the fans, then he stalks Brooks. Ospreay stands Brooks up, ROCKS him, then CHOPS him! Brooks pushes back but Ospreay brings Brooks around for a BARRIER BACK SUPLEX! The fans cheer, Ospreay puts Brooks in the ring, and Ospreay goes to the apron. The fans cheer again as Ospreay springboards, PIP PIP CHEERIO! Cover, ONE! Brooks toughs it out but Ospreay waits on him. Ospreay kicks low, reels Brooks in, but Brooks fights the underhooks.
Brooks BACKDROPS, but Ospreay lands out! Ospreay mule kicks, springboards, but Brooks SLAMS the Oscutter down! Brooks grins but the fans boo, and Brooks KNEES Ospreay in the side again and again! The fans boo but Brooks stands Ospreay up. Brooks whips Ospreay and ELBOWS him down! Cover, TWO! Ospreay toughs it out but Brooks keeps after him. Brooks CLUBS Ospreay, Ospreay ROCKS Brooks, and they go back and forth. Brooks whips, Ospreay reverses, but Brooks grabs ropes. Brooks DUMPS Ospreay out, then blocks a forearm. Brooks SNAPS the rope into Ospreay’s… lower area… The ref reprimands but Brooks defends his innocence.
Brooks runs and he BOOTS Ospreay off the apron! Then Brooks builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit and Brooks mocks the cheering for Ospreay before he goes back to him. Brooks puts Ospreay in, then aims from a corner. Brooks runs and GAMANGIRIS! Then he goes side to side to BOOT! Brooks reels Ospreay in, hooks a leg, BLUE SHADOW! Cover, TWO! Ospreay survives and the fans rally up. Brooks clamps onto Ospreay with a chinlock, but he sneaks a fishhook! Ospreay points it out, the ref reprimands, and Brooks stops at 4. Brooks drags Ospreay up, reels him in, and he calls his shot. The fans boo but Ospreay RANAS free!
Ospreay runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, handspring to RED DOT ENZIGIRI! The fans fire up for Ospreay and he stalks Brooks. Ospreay KNEES, JAWBREAKERS, then ROUNDHOUSES Brooks down! Then a STANDING SKY TWISTER! Cover, TWO! Brooks toughs it out but Ospreay stays cool. The fans rally, Ospreay brings Brooks up, and he reels Brooks back in. Brooks resists but Ospreay fires front kicks. Ospreay runs, but Brooks uses the ref as a shield! ENZIGIRI! Brooks “apologizes” to the ref, then whips Ospreay to a corner. Ospreay goes up, over, and handsprings to then come back, but into a BUCKLE BELLY2BELLY!
Brooks runs back in, another GAMANGIRI! Cover, TWO! Ospreay survives, and he even seethes as he gets back up. Brooks pie faces Ospreay, tells him to stay down, then kicks him. Moxley says make him pay for that! Ospreay blocks the boot, then ROCKS Brooks! Brooks wobbles, so Ospreay ROCKS him again! Brooks stumbles around, Ospreay brings him up, but Brooks fires back! They trade shots, the fans rally up, and Brooks wobbles again. Ospreay says “C’MON!” Brooks runs up, Ospreay dodges to ROLLING ELBOW! Then HOOK KICK! Ospreay reels Brooks in, but Brooks wrenches free. Ospreay ducks a shot, Brooks elbows back, then Brooks ducks the heel kick!
Brooks hits a BACKSTABBER and Ospreay crawls. Brooks runs, but into the SPANISH FLY! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up as Ospreay powers up the arm! Ospreay aims from the corner, Brooks rises up, HIDDEN- Brooks SPITS on Ospreay! The fans boo, Ospreay is taken aback, but then Ospreay DECKS Brooks! And HAMMERS away on the back of Brooks’ head! The ref checks on Brooks but Ospreay keeps going! Brooks TAPS, Ospreay wins!
Winner: Will Ospreay, by forfeit
Brooks could dish it out but could not take it, and Ospreay is standing tall! Moxley says you find a lane and step on the gas! Will nothing stop the Death Riders from ripping up the roster and climbing up the ranks?
Darby Allin speaks.
“The first time I ever met Kevin Knight, he was only two months into wrestling, and I said, ‘Hey, you got a world of potential. You just gotta stay humble.’ He looked at me and he said, ‘Darby, I ain’t gonna change for nobody. I’m always gonna be this humble.’ I realized that humble kid that I first met was dead and gone when you put me in the hospital. And now look at you. ‘I’m a celebrity! I’m a star!’ No, Kevin, you ain’t SH*T! And I’m gonna humble you by taking that TNT Championship away. I ask you, in this whole wrestling world, how far are you willing to go? This Wednesday, let’s see how far Kevin ‘The Jet’ Knight is willing to go.”
Athena VS Ava Everett!
The Fallen Goddess, the American Joshi, the ROH Gatekeeper, is still ROH Women’s World Champion, and it certainly feels like it’s been forever. She may not be Queen of Harts, headed to All In: London, but will she be unstoppable as always going towards ROH Death Before Dishonor in Philadelphia? Or is she going to underestimate the #Y2Kutie?
The bell rings, the fans cheer Athena, and she slips around Ava to GERMAN SUPLEX! And GERMAN SUPLEX! And then GERMAN SUPLEX again! The fans cheer as Boston becomes Suplex City, and Athena BOOTS Ava outta the ring! Then PENALTY KICKS from the apron! Athena says this is her show now! The fans cheer, and Athena goes after Ava again. Ava fires body shots, then ROCKS Athena! The fans boo, but Ava runs up, only for Athena to catch her and THROW her into railing! The fans cheer, and Athena puts Ava in the ring. Ava crawls to a corner, Athena runs up, but Ava BOOTS her away!
Athena comes back, Ava slips around to roll Athena up, ONE! Ava kicks low, STUNNERS, then fires up! The fans are torn as Ava runs, but Athena follows! Then Athena BOOTS Ava down! Winner: Athena, by submission
Athena thrashes Ava before she lets go, having sent her message to everyone around the world. But will anyone ever end the forever reign? Well, the Brawling Birds don’t seem to care, they make their entrance! Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor fire up for their match, will they keep their own undefeated streak going? Or are they overlooking The Bombshell Beauty & “Top Tier” Tiara?
The Brawling Birds VS Kayla Lopez & Tiara James!
The teams sort out, but then The Birds just CLOBBER Lopez & James! The fans fire up as they TOSS Lopez & James, then go out to CLUB them down! That’s 8-0 for Windsor & Hayter, but they’re hoping to keep it going all the way to Wembley! Will there be a certain AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions joining them there?
The Bang Bang Gang speaks.
Austin Gunn welcomes us to the Bang Bang Lounge, and Colten brings up that they also saw The Dogs’ supposed PSA. They’re all thinking the same thing, right? Uh… PBBBT~! Thumbs down! Ace Austin says don’t talk about his haircut when he’s got his thick thighs. And misogyny? They LOVE massages! Juice is unhinged? Yeah, right. And clearly, they cannot hold a candle to the humanitarian efforts of the Bang Bang Gang. Dammit, Finlay, White would’ve loved to lay down the challenged, but the way you skedaddled, it makes it very clear that you don’t want none of this. But as White holds up the shillelagh, something tells him Finlay will come running soon enough.
But meanwhile, that lil’ pup, Clark Connors, looks so horny, he could hump air! If he wants to sink his red rocket into something, how about the chance to dance with Switchblade on Dynamite? Just know, when it is all done, the lights will dim, and you’ll be put to sleep! And if you ain’t down with that, they’ve got two works for ya: GUNNS UP! Will 100 Proof be ready for a showdown with The Catalyst? Or will he soon Breathe with the Switchblade?
Tommaso Ciampa VS Myron Reed!
The Psycho Killer is preparing for The Pain Maker, the most dangerous side of Chris Jericho. However, one of the Rascalz is kinda the opposite direction from that. Will Myron get high off this Collision? Or will Ciampa use him as an appetizer before the main course?

His shadow knows his story, and he shines in his hometown here tonight! Ciampa gets a mic, and he keeps looking at Paul Wight on commentary. Ciampa steps out of the ring and walks around the way so he can glare at Schiavone. Wight says yeah, we’re not doing that. Wight stands up and the fans cheer. Wight tells Ciampa not to get at Schiavone, talk to him. Ciampa stands on Wight’s chair to tell Wight that, “I know that you are best friends with Chris Jericho. So I want you to listen and send a message to Chris. Not only is Tommaso Ciampa better than Chris Jericho… But the Psycho Killer is not afraid of The Pain Maker.”
Boston cheers, and Ciampa tells Wight to tell his boy that if Jericho wants a fight at Redemption, he can have it! But it’s gonna be… NO HOLDS BARRED! The fans cheer that! Wight says okay, you’ve got it. Ciampa is raising the stakes on Jericho, will there be no stopping either of these two from tearing each other apart?
Backstage interview with Andrade El Idolo.
Renee Paquette is with The Real Latino Man and congratulates him on his huge win over Jake Doyle. That earns Andrade his shot at the AEW National Championship at Redemption, which is just over a week away. How is Andrade going to prepare for Mark Davis? Andrade says look at his new piece of jewelry, the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Andrade feels he still needs to add one more piece to the look. And that will be the AEW National Championship. But speaking of, Mark Davis runs in and CLOBBERS Andrade with said belt! They brawl, but Davis puts on a SLEEPER! Andrade fires elbows but Davis says Andrade is taking nothing!
Davis grinds Andrade down, and he says the National title is going nowhere! Davis lets Andrade go, then he storms off, having sent his message. Will Andrade make sure to send his own direct message soon enough?
Collision returns with Renee Paquette in the ring.
And she has Boston welcome out the first-ever TWO-TIME Owen Hart Cup winner, The CEO, Mercedes Mone! The fans naturally cheer on their CEO, and Mone struts her way to the ring with the Queen of Harts title on her shoulder. Renee says All In is just around the corner, but the big question is swirling: Redemption will see Thekla VS Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women’s World Championship, meaning Mone faces the winner. Who she got? The fans cheer Mone, and she smiles as she says, “Renee, do you know where we are?” The fans cheer again as Renee says, “Boston~!” Mone says exactly! This is the City of Champions!
And Boston doesn’t celebrate second place. They collect championships here! At All In, the AEW Women’s World Championship is coming home to Mone! The fans cheer that, too! Mone smiles again as she says, “Now Renee, you wanna ask me about Thekla and Willow. I don’t give a damn who’s walking outta Redemption with the title. At All In, I am taking what’s mine! Thekla wants to walk around here talking about, ‘Being Toxic~!’ But the thing is, when things got a little to hot around here, when I cracked her in the head with this title, she ran and took her ass to Japan. And Willow… After I beat you on Dynamite, you took your ass to Japan, too!
“It’s so funny how both of you ended up in the exact same place. One hides behind fake little poison, and the other hides behind a fake little smile. But neither of you can hide when that bell rings.” The fans cheer that, too, and Mone says she is so sick and tired of the same damn questions. Who is walking into All In with the title? Wrong question! The only question that matters is who’s walking out. And that’s Mercedes Mone, the C E O. The fans cheer again as Mone holds up her Queen of Harts title. Will Mone get back to #2BeltsMone soon enough?
Adam Copeland & Christian Cage speak in person.
The Rated R Superstar again says Claudio Castagnoli stuck his nose in their business, so they’ll cut the head off the snake. At Redemption, it will be them against Claudio and Pac, because they know like a human barnacle, Pac is around here somewhere. In Montreal, C&C defend the titles against Claudio & Pac, then they move on to the next. The Young Bucks then step in and say good promo. They also saw that great match on Dynamite. They haven’t seen Cope & Cage in a long time since, because look at these titles. Congratulations on that win, the belts look great on them. But they looked great on The Bucks, too, three different times. But seriously, great stuff.
Christian says maybe The Bucks have lost them three times because they’re just belts to The Bucks. To Christian & Cope, they’re championships. Cage heads out, and Cope does a cat hiss. He apologizes for that, then follows after. Will The Bucks be that next in line after Claudio & Pac? Or is there still a long way’s to go before that?
ROH World Championship: Bandido VS Adam Priest!
The Most Wanted has gotten himself into quite the mess with the Don Callis Family, but now he’s getting an AEW International Championship match with Kyle Fletcher at Redemption. The fans fire up as the CHOPS just keep going, faster and faster! Bandido windmills CHOP after CHOP, but then Priest wrenches, chicken wings, and half nelsons. But Bandido switches to GERMAN SUPLEX! And GERMAN SUPLEX! Then the military press, and one arm SLAM! Bandido deadlifts to GERMAN SUPLEX Priest! The fans fire up while Priest sputters. Bandido goes right up the corner, takes aim, and Latino Heat for the FROG- NO, Bandido rolls through as Priest moves!

Winner: Bandido, by pinfall (still ROH World Champion)
Bandido shortens the shuffle to get that 21, and the win streak continues! But will The Outlaw become a double champion? Or will the Protostar prove he’s destined to be the best International Champion ever?
The Triangle of Madness speaks.
Julia Hart stands with Skye Blue as she says they are the NEW Artist of Stardom Champions, aka the trios champions, and yet they’re still hungry for gold. Because these were just the appetizers! Skye knows Lena & Megan aren’t fans of who the Sisters of Sin are and what they do, but do they hate it? Or are they afraid? Lena & Megan are big and strong, they shouldn’t be afraid of a little blood and weapons. They’ll show you there’s nothing to be afraid of as they invite you into their world. Nashville Dynamite, AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships, in a HARDCORE TAG! Because surely the undefeated champions aren’t afraid, right? Let’s find out.

That was the last straw for the One True African Queen, and now she wants payback along with the belt! Will Aminata finally have her crowning achievement? Or will TBS still stand for “The Best is Shida?”

My Thoughts:
A very good Collision, but it feels like they weren’t really trying either. Probably has a little to do with Saturday Night’s Main Event also happening right now, but it also just seems like they’re conceding that Collision isn’t as important as Dynamite. I said as much on Dynamite that they didn’t need to shove stuff onto that show to make it 2.5 hours. Ironically, something from Dynamite really could have been on Collision because they did NOT need to have two separate Cope & Cage promo segments. They should’ve combined those segments into one, where Cope says what he says about Claudio and Pac one time, The Bucks show up, and they still tease C&C VS Bucks for All In.
Athena VS Ava was definitely filler, but hey, Athena is so great on ROH that AEW fans deserve to see her more often. Same for Brawling Birds, they just need to stay afloat while we wait on the women’s tag titles. Good promo from Julia & Skye to set up a tag title match, and rather surprisingly, they’re setting it up for Dynamite, NOT Redemption. Is AEW actually not stuffing everything they possibly can onto a PPV card? Because they’re still shoving a lot onto that card anyway, such as Moxley & Ospreay VS The Bucks. Like, this is just me personally, but you could swap things, where the women’s tag title match is on PPV and Bucks trying to expose Ospreay is a Dynamite main event.
Speaking of Ospreay, very good match between him and Brooks. I feel like Brooks could himself be Death Rider material, but still a great opportunity for him to be on TV. Very good promo from Darby ahead of the TNT Championship match, and I feel like Knight and the DCF are gonna cheat their way into keeping the TNT title so they can further tease #Jet2Belts. Good match from Ciampa VS Myron, which I thought could’ve happened right after the Don Callis Family stuff since the Rascalz were already out there. Ciampa escalating things for his match with Pain Maker Jericho is good stuff, and I really thought Ciampa was gonna slap Paul “Big Show” Wight there.
Very good match from Jack Perry VS Nick Wayne, and good references to Christian Cage. Ironically, there could’ve been a point where they’re on the same side over how they’ve both had fallouts with Christian. Great match between Kevin Knight and AR Fox, but this was just another AEW “tune-up disguised as a title match” match. The Don Callis Family of course won their squash match, and I did not expect Bailey to bring out so many reinforcements. Lethal Twist making a weird cameo here makes me wonder if they do a trios gauntlet so that all these teams can battle at the same time. Or maybe a Ladder match so it’s all at once and chaotic?
Very good ROH World Championship match, but of course Bandido was winning. Again, title match disguised as a tune-up. Shida VS Aminata was a great match and main event, but it made sense for Shida to cheat her way into that win. I feel like if Harley Cameron wasn’t hurt, she was gonna make the save in return for Aminata, and then Harley gets another shot at the title for Redemption. But hey, great spot for Maya World to be back on PPV and fighting for a title already. She’s still destined to face Athena at Death Before Dishonor and perhaps even win the ROH Women’s Championship, but she’ll look great against Shida first.
My Score: 8.8/10
