Paige joins the WWE Kickoff panel.
The Ring Leader of Absolution joins Renee Young, Booker T, David Otunga and Pete Rosenburg to support her compatriots in the historic first Women’s Elimination Chamber. She is upset she can’t join in, because she did make a major contribution to the Women’s (R)Evolution. HOwever, she has all the faith in the world for Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville. One way or another, absolution will have the Raw Women’s Championship. Is Paige not worried about their inexperience? No, because Paige taught Mandy & Sonya how to work together. Alexa Bliss isn’t actually friends with Mickie James, and Bayley’s friendship with Sasha Banks is breaking. But what if it comes down to just Absolution? Then they all win! And in the end, Paige prepared them for such a scenario, so Absolution makes history no matter what.
What is Paige’s opinion of Ronda Rousey and her effect on the Women’s Division? Well, the Women’s Division in WWE is much more strenuous, Paige wonders if Ronda can handle it. Paige knows the women are making history, like she did when she was WWE Diva’s Champion at only 21 years old. Can Paige’s faith in her proteges bring one of them to their first Women’s Championship?
Backstage interview with Sasha Banks & Bayley.
They’ve heard Paige’s words. How do they feel about the combined threat of Absolution? Paige can talk all she wants, but she’s not in the match. Mandy & Sonya are still too new and have a lot to learn. Lesson one: When the spotlight is on, Bank on the Boss. And if Absolution forces Bayley & Banks to work together, then who better than best friends? Then when Bayley wins the Raw Women’s Championship, she can go on to Wrestlemania again. Or, y’know, Banks could win. Either way, they’re not worried about these supposed alliances, like Mickie & Alexa Bliss. But speaking of, Mickie comes by to speak her part.
"Once those pods open and that championship is on the line, this little friendship of yours is going to be OVER!" – @MickieJames to @SashaBanksWWE and @itsBayleyWWE #WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/yyF11TEHQm
— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) February 26, 2018
“Nobody is using me.” Mickie reminds them this isn’t her “first rodeo.” They don’t know everything. These two may be friends now, but when the title’s on the line, that friendship will be over “quicker than a hiccup.” Strong words from everyone, but who will be THE Raw Women’s Champion at the end of the night?
The Miz speaks.
“Tonight in the Elimination Chamber match, I’m in the number one position.” And he’s not happy about that at all. But when you’re the “Most Must-See Superstar”, you’re always number one! And tonight, Miz will prove he’s the Number One Superstar when he puts the Intercontinental Championship where it belongs: the main event of Wrestlemania! “And that is awesome.”
Bray Wyatt speaks.
No, wait, that’s WOKEN Matt Hardy! “As I stand within Abigail’s Room, I can sense my Sight Beyond Sight being clouded by her darkness.” It consumes his soul, but that is why he cannot allow her to spread her “Eternal Essence” any further. Hardy then returns to his WOKEN Space and says that the WOKEN Warriors’ Wrath shall cast Abigail back into the void. And then, Hardy will DELETE Wyatt!

Raw General Manager, Kurt Angle, joins the Social Media Lounge.

— WWE Network (@WWENetwork) February 26, 2018
“How is your son doing?” Jason Jordan had his surgery and it was successful, but he will miss Wrestlemania. Angle is excited to see Jordan “better than ever.” “Who do you think is going to win the Chambers matches?” A tough questions, given who is in them and what’s on the line. The men, Angle chooses Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins as his favorites, especially with Rollins’ amazing performance from last Raw. But at the same time, never count out Cena. Speaking of Cena, is this his last chance at Wrestlemania? No, not at all. He may have his distractions, but Cena can get back to the title or the main event.
As for the women, Alexa might retain, but Absolution has the advantage in numbers while Mickie has experience. Bayley and Sasha are former champions, too, but Alexa should retain. Then who do you think matches up best against Brock Lesnar? Again, Strowman, Rollins or Reigns are at the top of their games and therefore have the best bet to beat Brock. Another question:
“How does Angle feel about Rousey signing with Raw over SmackDown?” Happy to have her, of course. She is one of the greatest female athletes and Angle is excited. Renee and the panel say good night to Angle so he can prepare for the show.

Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows are ready to beat up some NEEERDS in Bo Dallas and Curt Axel to also climb the Raw Tag Team Division ladder. Can Anderson & Gallows make this Elimination Chamber kick-off just Too Sweet?

The bell rings and we start with Axel and Anderson. The fans already chant “Too Sweet! Woop woop!” as they tie up. Axel gets the headlock, then slips to a toehold and facelock. Anderson gets to his feet but Axel switches to the headlock. Anderson powers out but Axel runs him over! Axel asks, “How ‘sweet’ was that?” while Anderson gets up. They tie up, Axel gets the waistlock and clubs Anderson in the back. He throws haymakers on the Machine Gun, then whips, but Anderson reverses. Anderson knocks Axel down with a calf kick, then brings him over to tag Gallows. Gallows kicks, scoops and slams Axel, then goes to work with body shots in a corner. He rocks Axel with an uppercut, then starts up a “NERD! NERD!” chant.

Another uppercut, then a tag to Anderson. Anderson punches but Axel elbows back. Axel tags in Bo and Bo mugs Anderson against the ropes. Bo mocks the fans before firing off on Anderson. He tags in Axel and together the Miztourage put Anderson in another corner. Axel stomps Anderson more, then whips him corner to corner, but Anderson reverses. Anderson runs into Axel’s boot but runs him over with a rally of lariats. He scares Bo off, dodges Axel then hits the jump kick. Bo tags in, and then shoves Anderson down off the top rope! The Miztourage takes over while we take a quick break.
Elimination Chamber returns, and the fans rally as Anderson fights back against Bo. Bo reels Anderson in for a lariat, then drops a quick knee. He tags in Axel, hits another knee drop, then Axel hits the neck snap. Cover, TWO, but Miztourage keeps focus. Axel drives a knee into Anderson’s back before going after him with an armlock chinbar. The fans rally again and Anderson gets to his feet. Anderson goes to fight out but Axel whips and dropkicks him down. Axel is very excited for his own move, then stomps Anderson on that bad arm. He drags Anderson over and tags to Bo. They stomp a mudhole into Anderson, then embrace the heat. Bo taunts Gallows but Anderson fights out! But numbers keep him down, Bo sits Anderson down to then drag him up for a back elbow. Bo keeps hold of Anderson’s arm to bring him back up for another back elbow. Axel says “All day!” and Bo says to finish. He brings Anderson in again, but Anderson counters with a back suplex! The fans rally, hot tag to Axel and Axel whips Anderson! Shotgun kick! Hot tag to Gallows! Bo tags back in but Gallows rallies. Gallows hits Bo with a corner splash, then the roundhouse! The fans fire up with Gallows as he hits a splash! Tag to Anderson, they focus on Bo. Axel slips in and stops the Boot o’ Doom, only to get rocked with a right. Bo goes after Anderson and feeds him to Axel’s knee! Axel takes out Gallows, Bo covers, TWO! The Miztourage were close to that steal, but no go. The fans chant “Too Sweet! Woop woop!” while Bo tags Axel. Axel climbs up but Anderson uses Bo to trip him up! Anderson then gives Bo the spinebuster! Tag to Gallows, Gallows YAKUZA Kicks Bo, then YAKUZA kicks Axel! Tag to Anderson, they lift Axel up, MAGIC KILLER!
The Club wins!

Paul Heyman joins the Kickoff Panel.
The Advocate for the Beast speaks on who he’s eyeing in the Seven Man Elimination Chamber. He is watching all of them, because they’re all main-event players. They step up for just an opportunity against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. The real main event is tomorrow night’s Raw, because Brock Lesnar will come face-to-face with the “survivor” of tonight’s Chamber match. Heyman’s more concerned about the man that will move on from a “defining moment” to a “self-preservation” situation within 24 hours. Heyman is confident in his client as always, but will he really have nothing to worry about given the selection of contenders?
Who does @HeymanHustle have eyes on in the Men's #EliminationChamber Match? EVERYONE!

Apollo climbs up once more, big flying crossbody! TWO, into Standing Moonsault, but Sheamus’ knees are in the way. TWO, and while Sheamus is frustrated, Cesaro takes Titus out at the post. Apollo springs up to enziguri Sheamus! Cesaro tags, and chop blocks Apollo! The Bar coordinates, springboard A-Swiss-ted White Noise!
The Bar wins! They finally get even with TItus Worldwide! Will Titus & Apollo ever get another chance? And who will The Bar face next in the near future?

While the Empress may still be undefeated, the Irresistible Force has never been more motivated. If Nia can defeat the undefeated, Sole Survivor, and inaugural winner of the Women’s Rumble, Nia will find herself included in the Raw Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania! Who is more prepared for victory tonight?!

The bell rings and they circle and tie up. Nia powers Asuka away but Asuka comes right back with a dropkick and strikes. Nia shoves her away again, Asuka comes back for a flying armbar but Nia just shoves her off again. Asuka rushes Nia once more but Nia grabs her around the throat. Asuka slips out and back elbows Nia. Nia headbutts Asuka but Asuka boots her. Asuka bumps Nia off buckles but Nia returns a bump back. Asuka won’t stop, even as Nia throws her down. Nia biels Asuka all the way to ropes, and for once, Asuka slows it down. Nia runs but Asuka dumps her out! Asuka runs, hip attack misses! Nia knees Asuka in the back, then reenters the ring to kick her while she’s down. Alexa watches backstage as Nia keeps on Asuka.

Nia stretches Asuka’s arms, then stomps her into the mat! The fans applaud the brutality as she drags Asuka up for a backbreaker. Nia then runs and squashes Asuka in a corner, before running for an elbow drop! She grins before covering, but TWO! Nia keeps her cool, she knows she’s in control. She toys with Asuka more, but Asuka feeds off it to fight back. Nia shoves her, Asuka rebounds and rolls into a kneebar attempt! But Nia simply pulls Asuka up and off to then ram her into buckles! Asuka is down but not giving up. Nia drags her up while the fans duel, and lifts Asuka in a torture rack. Asuka endures the bending, then elbows her way out! She comes back and grabs a guillotine hold on Nia! Nia powers up to power out, jackhammer style suplex!
No cover, but Asuka is definitely in a bad way. Nia drags her around but Asuka kicks back. Nia still gets Asuka up, but Asuka jawbreakers Nia away. Asuka kicks at Nia’s chest again and again, then runs, but into the Samoan Drop!

Still no cover, because Nia runs! Leg drop misses, Asuka hits a Shining Wizard! Cover, TWO! Both women are exhausted and sore, but they both get to their feet. Asuka kicks and back hands Nia, bringing her to a knee. Nia roars, so Asuka buzzsaws and kicks her again! TWO!! Asuka seems at a loss for what to do next, but she won’t let that slow her down. She gets up and goes to a corner to climb up top! Nia comes over and rocks her, the two fight as Nia heads up. Nia wants another drop but Asuka flails and slips out! Asuka tries but can’t sunset flip Nia, Nia fights her off. BANZAI!
But Asuka rolls out of the way! She hurries back up, kicks Nia back down, then runs again. Nia runs her over! The fans are loving this, and Nia runs for the senton, but only gets a grazing blow on the legs. Asuka doesn’t let that bother her, she gets herself to a corner and then side steps to send Nia into the post. Nia pulls herself out, but Asuka is waiting. Flying armbar takedown!
Nia endures but Asuka has her! Nia rolls into a deadlift! And she slams Asuka into the buckles! Asuka lets go, the fans are fired up for both of them. Nia returns to Asuka and drags her back up. Nia says this is for Wrestlemania, and she lifts Asuka in powerbomb style. Asuka twists and rolls Nia! Asuka wins!! She stays undefeated, and even denies Nia her Wrestlemania Moment.

This also worries The Goddess.

As difficult as it was for Asuka to defeat Nia, Alexa is no Irresistible Force. Does the Goddess have a chance if the Empress chooses her belt? However, Nia attacks Asuka from behind! She then throws Asuka out of the ring, follows her out, and easily endures Asuka’s counter attacks. She pushes Asuka into a post, then barrels her into the timekeeper’s area!
PURE EMOTION. #WWEChamber @NiaJaxWWE @WWEAsuka pic.twitter.com/8QcBtqGhnb

Nia pulls herself out of the rubble, and Alexa is no longer worried. She watches her best buddy walk to the back while Asuka is out cold. Renee Young comes in to ask Alexa what she thinks of what she just saw. She knows Nia is upset she lost, but Alexa is not upset with what she just saw. With only a few weeks left, it’s clear “No one is ready for ALEXA.” Will the Empress be in any shape to prove those words wrong?

Backstage interview with Roman Reigns.
The Big Dog responds to Paul Heyman’s claims that Brock Lesnar will remain Universal Champion regardless of who challenges him by saying he doesn’t care if Heyman thinks that. Heyman shows up just ten days a year with Lesnar, running his mouth about what someone else can do. Roman is the opposite of that, because he backs everything he says. Heyman better listen to Roman’s own “spoiler alert”: Roman is going to Wrestlemania, beating Lesnar, and taking the Universal Title for his own. After the mortal vessel known as Matthew Hardy had a mental breakdown, he was inhabited by the eternal WOKEN Wisdom! And now, he goes after “The Consumer of Terrestrial Entities”, Hardy has the power to DELETE! Will he rid the world of Bray’s darkness? Or will this next battle in the Great War go in the favor of the New Face of Fear?
Hi, @WWEBrayWyatt… where's @MATTHARDYBRAND? #WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/a7OSwXjdAC
— WWE (@WWE) February 26, 2018
Wait, where did Hardy go? Wyatt has appeared but Hardy is nowhere to be seen. Hardy laughs from some unseen location. “Bray Wyatt, you’ll fade away and classify yourself as OBSOLETE!” Hardy sings that over and over but Bray grows frustrated. He searches high and low for Hardy, but can’t find him. “Tonight, we DELETE DELETE DELETE!” Wait, is he under the ring? Nope. Hardy finally reappears and attacks! He bumps Bray off the apron, but Bray shoves him away. They both enter the ring, the bell rings and now the match starts.
Hardy haymakers and goes for the Twist but Bray shoves him away. Bray runs but into Hardy’s boot. Hardy hits the leg sweep then laughs as he rocks Wyatt with another set of haymakers. He whips Bray but Bray reverses. Bray runs in but misses, spider-lean gets a “WONDERFUL” round of applause from the WOKEN Warriors.

The applause only irritates Bray, but he runs into a kick. Bray blocks the Twist but not the DDT! Cover, TWO.
Hardy begins the “DELETE!” chants and kicks again, but still no Twist. Bray shoves him then runs him over with the body check! Now Bray is finally in a good mood as he stalks Hardy to ropes. He chokes and clubs Hardy, then throws hands in a corner. Bray laughs as he grinds a forearm into Hardy’s face. Hardy gets to another corner, then kicks back before throwing more hands. Bray knees low and DDT’s Hardy, cover, TWO.
Bray wraps a chinlock on Hardy, but the fans rally for the WOKEN Wisdom. He grinds Hardy to the mat, but Hardy fights back. Hardy sits up and works his way out of the hold, then to his feet. He fights out but Bray throws him to ropes for a running headbutt. Hardy gets to the apron but Bray follows. Bray walks over but Hardy hits back with more haymakers. Hardy backs Bray down, but then Bray kicks low and clubs Hardy to slam him into the apron!
Hardy tumbles down and the fans boo but Bray doesn’t care. Bray goes back into the ring to leave Hardy to the ring count. Hardy drags himself to steel steps as the count climbs, so Bray changes his mind. He hits Hardy with an uppercut that sits him on the steps, then brings Hardy up again. Bray wants the yurinagi, but Hardy fights out! Hardy chases Bray but Bray clobbers him with the turn-around lariat! Bray goes to a table but then trolls the fans by putting Hardy in the ring. Cover, TWO. Bray keeps on Hardy with stomps, then haymakers. Hardy keeps laughing, even as Bray chokes him on the ropes. Bray stalks Hardy to a corner, then reels him out for a lariat. He drags Hardy up to put him in a corner. Bray embraces the boos and jeers before running corner to corner. Hardy boots Bray back, then hits a tornado DDT!
Both men are down, but Hardy is stirring. He gets to his feet and fires off haymakers on Bray. He gives “DELETE DELETE” buckle bumps! Hardy hits the clothesline but not the bulldog, so he gets a Side Effect instead! TWO, but Hardy doesn’t slow down. He climbs up and the fans come to life. Hardy takes aim and drops the elbow on Bray’s head. The fans chant “DELETE! DELETE!” but Bray still denies the Twist to hit the Yurinagi and back senton! Cover, TWO! Bray is shocked and frustrated with Hardy, so he hammers forearms into Hardy’s head. He drags Hardy around to a corner, then climbs up. Bray jumps, but Hardy avoids the back senton!
Hardy comes back over, Bray denies the Twist again. Bray splashes Hardy in the corner from behind, then brings him into Sister Abigail position. Hardy fights out, so Bray pushes him away. Hardy ducks the punch and finally hits the Twist of Fate! WOKEN Hardy wins! The Great War is now 1-1, who will win the WONDERFUL~ tiebreaker?

Kurt Angle comes out, contract in hand.
That’s because it is finally time for the highly anticipated contract signing. But not only is he here to preside over it, so are the COO and Principle Owner, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon!
ALL HAIL.#WWEChamber #RondaRousey @TripleH @StephMcMahon pic.twitter.com/0B722Cpw6R
— WWE (@WWE) February 26, 2018
These three powerful figures in the Raw Administration are here because the talent they’re about to sign is that important and that touted in Women’s Sports, as well as around the world. “Ladies and gentlemen,” Stephanie says to the Las Vegas WWE Universe, “we are all about to be part of history.” They’re signing one of the greatest athletes in the world today. They wanted the greatest athletes, the elites, to take WWE to the next level. The WWE wants men and women “worthy of your passion.” And HHH can’t think of a bigger recruit since the Olympic Gold Medalist. This judo champion turned Olympic medalist turned innovator of MMA, “she has paved the way for young women athletes all around the globe”, and has earned the title of “the baddest woman on the planet.” It is none other than… RONDA ROUSEY!
#WWEChamber just got ROWDY!!!!! @RondaRousey has ARRIVED! #RondaRousey pic.twitter.com/7x4KzaDyiM
— WWE (@WWE) February 26, 2018
Rowdy Ronda gets a standing ovation from Vegas as she enters the ring. Stephanie welcomes Ronda to the WWE, then lets the fans have what they want. Ronda speaks, saying “It’s hard to even know what to say. I’m not often speechless, but to be in the ring with you guys, especially Kurt”, Ronda appreciates the magnitude of his accomplishments. The fans chant non-stop for Ronda, and she soaks it all in. She’s almost brought to tears, but she manages to give a shout out to the late-great Roddy Piper. He is the main reason why she’s here in the WWE at all, she hopes to make the original Rowdy One proud. That, and she wants to earn the WWE Universe’s respect. HHH wants this to be clear: Rousey didn’t want special treatment. No perks, no travel fare, no private cars. Rousey admits it, she wants to be treated like any other superstar. The only thing is an invite to Wrestlemania, and this contract will give her her own match!

— WWE (@WWE) February 26, 2018
Not for a title, however, but in a big match. She knows, she doesn’t want to be treated special, she wants to earn things. And she appreciates him doing this. Stephanie gives Rousey the contract, but then Rousey notices something with Kurt and HHH. Kurt is just “in awe” of the brilliant HHH & Steph. They’ve been talking about this for so long, they wanetd Ronda here to “manipulate” her for what she did back at WM31! That’s why there’s no special treatment. In fact, HHH said “three years in the making and now we own the bi-” Whoa, Angle, stop right there! This is not about any of them, it’s about Ronda. Tonight is about a dream come true! That’s what, and Angle is just under the weather. Stephanie can finalize this while HHH gets Angle out of here. Right, the flu, it’s so bad this year. But Angle had a point about one thing: the WWE management has been talking about her ever since WM31. Rousey embarrassed them, sure, but she impressed them, too. She is one of the greatest in the world, and that’s why WWE wants this deal to make her a superstar! But Angle manages to say “one last thing”: Steph said Rousey was a “has-been” and that even Steph could take her.

Uh oh! Rousey glares at Steph, Steph tries to explain. HHH returns, and manages to back Rousey off his wife. But Rousey steps up to HHH! He tries to defuse the situation, while Stephanie tries to escape. They both go to leave, but Rousey still stares daggers. The fans boo while HHH goes back to handle this. Rousey puts him through the table!

Stephanie is in shock but the fans are loving it! Now Stephanie gets mad, and SLAPS Rousey! The fans know that Stephanie, “You F**k’d up!” Rousey glares and Stephanie runs away. The fans boo, but then Rousey takes that contract, and signs it anyway! Rousey is officially signed to Raw, but what are the consequences for this intense encounter?!
Nope, she don't give a damn about her BAD REPUTATION!

“Ladies and Gentlemen: Elias.”
An @IAmEliasWWE concert INSIDE the #EliminationChamber! What a treat! #WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/j2PcS1tir8
— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) February 26, 2018
The Drifter gives us his performance from inside the Elimination Chamber. And as always, he asks, “Who wants to walk with Elias?!” This is a bit strange to perform inside the chamber, but this is Vegas, after all. Vegas must be familiar with seeing someone they love behind bars. But tonight is Elias’ night, and he’s on his way to his greatest performance on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Elias vows to beat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, and then the world will know WWE truly stands for Walk With Elias! Now, as the last person to enter, he can sit back and watch “as these animals tear each other apart” to then feast on the scraps. He’ll kick things off with a song, but it’s not for Vegas. No, his songs aren’t for those dedicated to sin. Elias holds himself to a higher standard, so this song is for himself. So please, silence phones, hold applause and shut mouths while he begins.
“Every man will enter, only one will win.” But Elias can tell you for sure, “it ain’t gonna be Finn.” The fans boo and jeer, forcing Elias to stop. After all he does for them, the least they can do is shut up and listen! But they don’t, so Elias decides to go sit in his pod. The fans like the sound of that. Elias hit the right pitch, though, so he’ll keep going. “Miz is delusional. He should stick to Miz TV. He’s more like a D-List celeb, not a legend like me.” Elias beat John Cena and Roman doesn’t want him again. He ain’t afraid of nothing, not even the Monster Among Men. But speaking of, BRAUN appears! Elias goes to his pod after all, staying safe from Strowman, for now.

Again, no deal. Instead, Rollins and Finn side with each other to go after Miz! They both kick him and whip him, then give Miz back elbows. Finn throws Miz out, Rollins rolls Finn up, TWO. The deal wasn’t long-lived, but that doesn’t seem to bother Finn. He and Rollins circle, another throwback to the inaugural Universal Championship match. Finn gets the headlock takeover, Rollins the headscissors, and they’re at a stalemate again. The fans already love this as the two circle and tie up again. Finn gets another headlock but Rollins powers out.
Miz stands back up but Finn blasts him from the ropes and into the steel chains. Rollins kicks Finn and gets the headlock takeover now. The fans rally while Finn gets to his feet and the other men wait in their pods. Finn powers out, things speed up, Rollins takes his turn blasting Miz to chains. Rollins elbows Finn away but Finn pushes to speed things up again. Finn drops Rollins with a dropkick! Miz returns and gets Finn back. Miz slingshots for the sunset but Finn rolls through to dropkick him back. Cover, TWO!

Rollins punches Miz away, then springboards for the flying clothesline! Rollins keeps going, suplex roll through to Falcon Arrow!
Cover, TWO! Rollins keeps his cool as he stalks Miz. Miz gets up, Rollins mule kicks him down, then runs. Miz dodges the stomp but Rollins denies the Finale. Rollins boots Miz from a corner but Finn returns. Rollins boots him back, then hops up. He takes aim, and hits a DOUBLE Blockbuster!

Cena and Rollins jaw back and forth, Rollins shoves Cena away. Cena laughs it off, and shoves back. Rollins swings, Cena starts rallying with those shoulder tackles. Rollins escapes the spin-out but Cena dodges the Revolution Knee. Cena hits that spin-out bomb, and everyone knows what comes next. “You Can’t See Me!” But Cena sees that kick coming, so he uses it to roll Rollins up to his feet, another spin-out powerbomb! Miz comes in, he gets a spin-out, and now Cena has two men to tell, “You Can’t See Me!” He hits a TEN Knuckle Shuffle!
Finn returns, trips Cena and hits a double stomp! Cover, TWO! But Miz is on Finn with the full nelson! Finn reverses with a victory roll, TWO! Slingblade! Finn waits for Miz to stand up, but Rollins intercepts with a SUPERKICK! Rollins sees all three other men down, and he gets going. First he forearms Finn, then Miz, then back to Finn, but Cena comes in and sandwiches Rollins and Finn. Cena hoists both men up in the fireman’s carry! Finn slips down off the top but Cena uses Rollins’ feet to smack him away. Cena then throws Rollins, but Rollins lands on his feet and hits Cena with the Pele! Miz goes after Rollins, A-Lister combo, cover, TWO!
Strowman and Roman patiently wait while they watch the other four battle. Miz stands up and goes over to Rollins while Cean throws Finn right out. Everyone is outside the ropes, and while Rollins blocks from being thrown into chains, Finn knocks Cena down! Finn stomps away while Rollins throws Miz into chains. The fans duel while Finn flexes, but Cena revives and rocks him with a right.
Meanwhile, Miz and Rollins have reentered the ring. Miz reverses a whip to send Rollins into a corner, then hits his A-List clothesline. Cena brings Finn up to the top rope on the other side while Miz climbs up top. Rollins trips up Miz while Finn fights back against Cena. Cena powers through while Rollins brings Miz up all the way, echoing SUPERPLEXES!
All four men are down with no covers, and the countdown returns. With Elias not in the running, the next man to enter is: ROMAN REIGNS! The Big Dog makes his way in and gives out uppercuts to Finn, Miz and Cena. Cena flounders, so Roman hits him again. Miz slowly stands up, Roman gives him another uppercut. Finn stands up, Roman gives him a second uppercut. Rollins stands up, and the Shield Brothers come face to face.

There are no alliances in the Chamber, not that one had time to form with Miz pushing Roman into Rollins! Miz then goes after Roman with a boot, and Rollins with a low DDT! Cover, TWO! Cena comes up but Miz kicks him back down, and Miz sees he has all four other superstars where he wants them. The fans chant “YES! YES!” and Miz checks with them. Hit Cena? “YES!” Hit Roman? “YES!” And even Finn and Rollins? Well, no, but they know Miz is going to. So Miz takes that as his cue to use the “It Kicks”!

As such, Roman locks and loads and aims at Finn, but the countdown begins! The Monster is released!
Strowman picks up Rollins and throws him into the chains. Roman comes over but gets clobbered with a solid right. Strowman rocks Finn, then Cena, and then Miz just retreats. Cena gets back up but knocked back down. Roman returns but Strowman drops him with a headbutt. Strowman also headbutts Finn, but then ends up with both Cena and Rollins. They go 2v1 against him with clubbing forearms and body shots, but Strowman stays on his feet. Rollins and Cena prepare a double suplex, but it’s Strowman who suplexes them!
Finn gets up but Strowman grabs him and pushes him to ropes. Strowman catches Finn’s crossbody, and uses Finn to knock Roman down! Once again, Miz is the only one left. Miz wants nothing to do with Strowman so he climbs up to the top of a pod. Strowman pursues! He grabs Miz by the hair and brings him back over, to then dribble his head off the glass! Then, Strowman THROWS Miz at the others!!
Everyone topples down like bowling pins, and Strowman roars victoriously. He also surveys the scene, like the king of the mountain looking down on everyone else.

The fans are thunderous for Strowman, even as Strowman climbs down to join the fallen on the ground. He has his pick of the bunch, but he wants to have Elias. Elias taunts Strowman, he doesn’t have to be part of this any time soon. Strowman stomps Miz and then clubs him down into the mat. He then brings his familiar foe, Roman, up to club him down. Strowman glares at Elias again, but Rollins attacks Strowman from behind. Strowman puts Rollins out with a loud right hand! He brings Rollins up again, to lift and throw at the wall! Rollins crash lands, and Strowman brings up Miz for the Monster Slam! Miz is ELIMINATED!

One down, five to go. At least Miz still has his title, wife, and a child on the way. Speaking of on the way, that countdown returns, and we all know who has to enter the match now! Ladies and gentlemen: ELIAS! The Drifter is as ready as he’ll ever be, which isn’t enough yet. He follows Alexa Bliss’ example and closes his pod door again. Elias is safe inside his pod, right? As for Strowman, the other four unite to go 4v1 against him! Cena, Rollins, Roman and Finn throw furious haymakers and body shots, and they bring Strowman down to his knees! The four then coordinate something: they have two Shield Brothers in, but there’s nothing keeping Cena and Finn from subbing in. Rollins and Finn bring Strowman up for Cena and Roman to hold, and hit a hybrid Shield Bomb!
All four men cover, but TWO all the same!
There's kicking out of a pin, and then there's KICKING OUT OF A PIN! #WWEChamber @BraunStrowman @JohnCena @FinnBalor @WWERomanReigns @WWERollins @IAmEliasWWE pic.twitter.com/va1UNTnxfc

Cena goes back at Strowman, fireman’s carry, and hits a MONSTROUS Attitude Adjustment! TWO! SPEAR! Cover, TWO!? Rollins is up, he gets running, CURB STOMP! Strowman escapes that cover, but Finn is already perched on the top rope. COUP DE GRACE! But then Cena hits Roman with an AA! Rollins mule kicks Cena! Finn tries but Rollins denies him and whips him, they double crossbody into each other!
And with all five men down, including the Monster, Elias pounces! He covers Rollins! TWO. Finn? TWO! Roman? TWO! Cena?! TWO! Elias did not get a single elimination there. Finn gets up but Elias knocks him down. Elias hammers and stomps Roman, tears off his shirt before giving Rollins a knee. He goes to Cena, whips him to ropes, then knocks him down with a jumping knee. Elias then hurries up top and takes aim, Macho Elbow on Rollins! TWO!
The Drifter grows frustrated, but he still has his pick of the litter. He stalks Rollins to the ropes and brings him up. Elias shovels Rollins onto his shoulders, but Roman returns. Rollins slips down and Roman gets Elias in the fireman’s carry. Elias fights out and now shovels Roman up onto his shoulders. He spins Roman for the sit-out powerbomb! TWO, and Elias is further frustrated. Strowman has returned! He throws Elias to a corner, but Elias evades and sends Strowman into the post. Elias tries to shovel Strowman up but that’s too much monster. Strowman scoops and slams Elias! Elias is ELIMINATED!

The first man and the last man to enter are both the first two out. Strowman isn’t through yet, as he drags Roman up. He scoops Roman, but Rollins flies in with a knee! Finn blasts Strowman with a dropkick, then Roman adds a leaping lariat! Strowman stays standing, but Cena flies in from the top rope! Strowman catches Cena, and hits another Monster Slam! Cena is ELIMINATED!

The Monster Among Men has eliminated half the opposition by himself! Rollins, Finn and Roman all seem surprised that, of all people to be eliminated, it was Cena. Strowman looks at all of them in turn, and shouts, “WHO WANTS THESE HANDS?!” Roman stands up, and gets an uppercut! Rollins runs in, he gets an uppercut. Finn stands up and circles with Strowman, and he gives Strowman strikes first! But Strowman grabs him and pushes Finn to a corner. Finn boots Strowman away, then again, before slipping to the outside and swing kicking. Finn climbs up but Strowman brings him down, then scoops him up. But Finn slips out and dropkicks Strowman into a corner! Strowman staggers, so Finn blasts him with another dropkick. Strowman falls to a knee and Finn hurries to the top rope, Coup De Grace to the head! Cover, TWO!
Rollins gets Finn but Finn denies the Revolution. Finn fires off strikes but Rollins ducks to Pele, Finn Peles right back! Dragon sleeper, 1916!
TWO! The fans cheer for Finn but Roman is up and throws Finn to ropes. Finn dodges then hits Slingblade! He blasts Roman with a dropkick then climbs up again. Coup De Grace hits, but Strowman is back to slam Finn down! Finn is ELIMINATED!
Now it’s just Strowman and The Shield Brothers. Rollins and Roman regroup, and they stand up against Strowman. They flank him, then attack 2v1. Strowman pushes Roman away, then Rollins. He runs at Rollins but Rollins dumps him out to the outside. Rollins stomps away on Strowman, then Roman comes over to add hammering fists. The Shield boys bump Strowman off the steel chains, and again, bringing him back down. Then Rollins turns on Roman! Springboard clothesline, then a mule kick. Rollins runs but Roman dodges the Curb Stomp. He jumps for the Superman Punch but Rollins kicks that out of the air. Rollins grabs Roman and lifts him to hit a Buckle Bomb, but then SUPERMAN PUNCH on the rebound!
The Shield Brothers are both down, and Strowman starts stirring. Strowman stands up and makes his way back to the ring. He grabs Rollins first, scooping him out. Rollins grabs the chains and climbs away, kicking Strowman off him. Strowman grabs at him, but he keeps fighting. Rollins reaches a pod and keeps kicking, but now Roman returns. Roman grabs Strowman, fireman’s carry to Samoan Drop on the floor! Strowman rolls away into the ring, Rollins sees him. Rollins prepares himself, looking at the Wrestlemania sign for motivation. He takes aim and flies for a SUPER Frog Splash!

TWO!! The Monster will not die! In fact, Strowman is still able to move, rolling away from Rollins. Rollins stirs and Roman returns, but Strowman also stands up again. The Shield Brothers get back on the same page and bring Strowman up. Roman lets out the howl but Strowman fights them off! He punches Rollins then dropkicks Roman! Roman flies out of the ring, but Rollins SUPERKICKS Strowman! Strowman stays on his feet, so Rollins SUPERKICKS again. Strowman falls to a knee, Rollins runs, but into a powerslam! Rollins is ELIMINATED!

Every elimination has been by the Monster Among Men, and now it’s just him and The Big Dog. Both men are familiar with The Beast of Suplex City, as well as each other, but only one can go to Wrestlemania for a rematch with him. Strowman waits for Roman while Rollins exits the Chamber. He eggs Roman on with “Come get these hands, boy!” Roman stands up as the fans chant “Get These Hands!” He walks up to the Monster, then throws uppercuts! Strowman grabs Roman and pushes him all the way out of the ring. Roman climbs up to his feet but Strowman is there waiting. Strowman scoops Roman but Roman flails and slips down to hotshot Strowman’s back! Roman runs, then FLIES!
He knocks Strowman into the chains, but keeps going with right hands. Strowman shoves him away, then runs at him, but Roman evades and Strowman crashes into and breaks a pod! Strowman still gets back up, but Roman is right on him with a SUPERMAN PUNCH! The Big Dog follows the Monster back into the ring, reloads, and hits another SUPERMAN PUNCH! That’s not enough, so Roman lets out the howl. He runs in, but the Spear is scooped! He slips out and boots Strowman away, runs again, but Strowman lifts him up, SUPERMAN PUNCH! Strowman stays standing after three of those, but Roman runs in and finally hits the SPEAR! Strowman gets up again, though, so another SPEAR! Cover, Roman wins! Roman wins the right to challenge The Beast!

But Strowman’s not finished with Roman yet!
He stands up and grabs Roman, to give him the Monster Slam!
But it doesn’t end there. The fans want “One More Time!” so Strowman obliges. He drags up the limp Roman, scoops him again, and slams him again. Strowman keeps going, dragging Roman to the outside, and throwing him through a pod!!
In case it wasn't clear… @BraunStrowman ISN'T FINISHED WITH YOU, @WWERomanReigns!!!!!!! #WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/4yU0okP0SQ

Strowman roars victoriously, even though he did not win. Roman may have a match with Lesnar at Wrestlemania, but he’ll have a face-to-face with Lesnar. Though, is he even okay to make it to Monday Night Raw?
My Thoughts:
This Raw exclusive Elimination Chamber will be thought back on both a good and a bad Chamber PPV. The kickoff tag match was decent but mostly filler, and The Revival didn’t even get to finish their thought about The Good Brothers, so that was kinda bad. Opening with the inaugural Women’s Chamber, which was amazing, is good. Alexa retains because the “best friends” stopped being friends, but also by being last. That way she doesn’t look too strong, but it helps keep things as planned, aka potentially facing Asuka. And speaking of Asuka, her match with Nia Jax was also spectacular, and it’s great for both that it was such a tough win. Nia looks so powerful, but Asuka looks that much tougher, and then Nia wrecking Asuka after was great because everyone loves carnage. Alexa might be getting overconfident, though, thinking Asuka won’t be ready in time for ‘Mania, but it all fits her character so that’s fine.
The Raw Tag Team Championship was a fine match, but how great would it have been if Titus Worldwide got a #TitleForTitus? The Bar retains to basically make those wins look like flukes, but now there’s a traffic jam for contenders headed towards Wrestlemania again. Perhaps two years in a row, we’ll have Raw Tag Team Championship Ladder matches to make sure the most teams possible get in on the moment. WOKEN VS Wyatt 2 did NOT go the way anyone thought, both for WWE or for the fans. I’m sure by now fans were hoping for some BROKEN Universe style pre-taped moments but we got none. The match was still good given Hardy trolling Wyatt, and Hardy gets the win to keep even, so as a feud, it’s still okay. But because of the lack of true BROKEN action, the fans lost interest, which doesn’t help the WWE any. The WWE can redeem this feud with a Wyatt Compound/House Hardy estate type build towards ‘Mania, but if there’s not even one week of that, WWE will have screwed up the easiest slam dunk ever.
The Rousey contract signing went exactly how it should have to endear the fans to her and set up her Wrestlemania match with HHH & Stephanie. Angle speaks his mind to expose the scheming of “The Authority”, and when HHH & Stephanie fail to fool Rousey, she gives us that Biggest Badass Rousey everyone remembers fondly. Assuming Angle is going to be her partner for ‘Mania, that is gonna be a fun match! And then the Men’s Elimination Match was fun, even with the ending, but that is the one sour point fans will probably come away with. It went so well that there were no eliminations until Strowman comes in, and then Strowman gets all of them except the end. Strowman becomes the most powerful full-time star the WWE has, but because of Vince McMahon, Roman finds a way. The Monster does 90% of the work but Roman still wins. At least Strowman got to decimate Roman after, but this is the Nth time WWE doesn’t accept what fans are clamoring for. Perhaps there will be a way around this with Strowman still having the power to do that post-match stuff, and maybe he’ll show up to the already announced encounter of Roman and Lesnar.
My Score: 8.5/10

Toni Storm is here!
Milwaukee cheers as The Good Land is now TIMELESS! Toni goes right to the ring, puts her AEW Women’s World Championship belt right down on the mat, and has a mic to say, “Milwaukee, I love you.” The fans cheer that! Toni says please, enough of the banter! “Megan Bayne, get your oiled up, feathered ass out here right now!” No response, so Toni says fine. If Megan is too busy crushing watermelons and eating babies, then listen up! The spotlight drops on Toni as the fans chant her name. Toni says, “Last Wednesday, you were the better woman. I don’t know what happened, it all happened so fast. But before I knew it, I was flat on my back like you’d just bought me a steak dinner.
“I am embarrassed. I am hurt. And I’m ashamed. And the worst part is, you made it look so easy.” Toni rests on the mat beside her belt to say, “I went back to my hotel, and I turned off all the lights. And I laid there, going over the same scene in my head over and over and over again, wondering if this is what’s going to happen to me at Dynasty.” Fans say no, but Toni continues, “And then, when the sun came up, I was covered in sweat. Moreso than usual. But I got up, and I went into the bathroom and I took a piss. And then I stubbed my toe, then I whacked my head on the sink. And when I came to, I looked into the mirror, and I remembered exactly who I am!”
The fans cheer, and Toni rises up to say, “I am Timeless Toni Storm! And at Dynasty, I will be leaving with your tits in my purse!” Toni approaches the ropes for her close up, only to be CLOBBERED by Penelope Ford! The Superbad Girl grins, the fans boo, but Ford fires off hands on Toni! Ford whips, but Toni reverses to GERMAN SUPLEX! Ford ends up in a corner, Toni runs in, SWEET HIP MUSIC! The fans fire up as Toni stomps a mudhole into Ford! But then Megan CLOBBERS Toni! The fans boo as now the Megasus gets the drop on Toni! Megan fireman’s carries, FATE’S DESCENT on the belt!
The fans boo even more as Megan sits Toni up, tells her to “BOW! DOWN!” then throws Toni down again! Megan stands over Toni, and with just EIGHT DAYS left, is there no such thing as “timeless” in AEW?
The Death Riders speak.
Claudio Castagnoli starts with German, and he says that while Dax Harwood will be the first victim of the Death Riders, this Wednesday is when the Swiss Cyborg does something for himself. Claudio calls out Adam Copeland to go 1v1 for what Cope did to him! And if Copeland thinks that was ruthless, Claudio knows he is losing his edge and is just trying to cope with it! Claudio will beat Cope to a pulp, but leave just enough of him alive to limp to Dynasty so he can team up with his “two little groupies,” and fail at another chance of becoming champion here in AEW.
Moxley pats Claudio on the shoulder and says, “There are only three women I fear in this world: My mother, my sister, and my wife. Until I met Marina Shafir. On the day that she just snaps, I know I don’t wanna be the one who pissed her off. Part of me thinks maybe me and you, Swerve, we should just grab some popcorn, sit and watch these ladies tear each other apart. But you talked a really, really big game on Wednesday, and now you gotta back it up. Right now, that’s the job. Poor, sweet Willow.” Marina speaks up and warns Willow in Romanian, then in English she dares Willow to keep smiling once Marina’s ripped out her liver and shoved it down her throat!
Moxley & Claudio look at each other, Moxley with wide eyes and Claudio with a big smile. They head out with Marina, will there be no solving this Problem?

And although this year, it won’t be yours in the Owen, there’s always next year. Because I’m pretty sure we’re going to see a lot more of Kevin Knight in AEW.” The fans cheer that! White says that was Knight’s cue to leave but guess Milwaukee thought otherwise. White says, “See you around.” They shake hands, and Knight takes off. When and where will The Jet fly back to AEW?

AEW shares a tweet from Athena.
In response Mercedes Mone posting, “Milwaukee, say hello to your C E O,” The Fallen Goddess says, “Maybe I will say hi… TONIGHT!” Could the Forever ROH Women’s Champion be the one to face the TBS Champion tonight? We’ll have to see, after the break!
Mercedes Mone VS Robyn Renegade!
#FourBeltsMone held onto the TBS Championship after getting quite the fight from Billie Starkz. But her AEW Dynasty dance card is still open. Will Mone win herself a night off? Or will this Renegade make Mone work for her money?
The bell rings and Mone circles with Robyn. They tie up, go around, and Mone headlocks. Robyn powers out but Mone runs her over! Milwaukee is tourn, but things speed up. It seems like that the Money Train is running hotter than ever. But he understands she had something she wants to say, so the floor is hers. Mone says that’s right. The fans boo, Mone frowns, and she takes the mic from Schiavone. “I am the greatest TBS Champion of all time! And I came to AEW to win more gold. So I’m officially declaring myself in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! That’s right! I’m planning on winning the Owen Cup.
“And then, the Money Train is gonna make her way to Texas to All In! And then, I’m going to become the AEW Women’s World Champion!” Fans are torn again but Schiavone says that tournament will have a lot of competition, including Billie Starkz, who- Mone stops Schiavone there. She doesn’t wanna hear about that stupid kid! Billie has a lot of heart, but not as much heart as Robyn! Give it up for Robyn! Way more heart than that stupid Billie. Who even trained Billie? They suck! You’re looking at the greatest women’s wrestler of all time! WAIT! Athena really IS here! The fans cheer as THE ROH Women’s World Champion is on AEW!

Well, not the target Athena wanted, but Athena does look at Mone’s TBS Championship. Athena shouts, “This is MY show now!” Will Athena’s Forever Reign be the one to add more gold? Or has she just put herself on Mone’s gold colleting radar?
Backstage interview with Queen Aminata.
Lexy Nair is with the One True African Queen, and it would seem there is unfortunate news. Aminata’s hand is wrapped up, she is unable to compete tonight. Taking her place in tonight’s main event is Billie Starkz. Given all this, how does- Serena Deeb walks in. Deeb smirks and says Aminata must know this was preventable, right? Deeb had the game plan, offered it to Aminata, and Aminata didn’t want to listen. Let’s look at history, Aminata. Every time Aminata listened, she won. Every time she didn’t, not only does she lose, she ends up injured. This is all choices. Everything they do is choices. And unfortunately, Aminata made the wrong choice.
Aminata admits, Deeb is right. Everything is about choices. And Aminata still choose not to listen to Deeb’s trash! Not listening to any of that. Okay, Queen, Deeb respects that. But deep down, Aminata knows Deeb is right. And if Aminata thinks there’s a slight chance that she knows that Deeb is right, well, Aminata will have some weeks at home to rest up. Here’s some reading material. Deeb shoves her playbook into Aminata’s hand, will Aminata do her homework?
“Big Bill” Morrissey & Bryan Keith VS Top Flight w/ Leila Grey!
Speaking of learning, The Redwood & Bad Apple want to make The Learning Tree proud, and that means winning some championships to go along with Chris Jericho’s ROH World Title. Will Bill & Keith be one step closer to facing The Hurt Syndicate with tonight? Or will Darius & Dante Martin soar far above the trees to be next in line for gold?
The teams sort out and Bill starts against Darius. The fans rally, but Dante wants in! Darius tags Dante in, and now Keith says he wants in! Bill tags Keith, he and Dante tie up, and they go around. Keith puts Dante on ropes, Dante turns things around, but Dante lets off as the ref counts. The two go again, Keith arm-drags hard and has the armlock. Dante rolls and arm-drags free, then he DROPKICKS Keith down! The fans fire up, Dante A-LIST LARIATS! Tag to Darius, he snap suplexes Keith and tag sin Dante. Slingshot SENTON! The fans cheer, Dante brings Keith up but Keith shoves free!
Darius tags in, Top Flight gets Keith for the LARIAT STO COMBO! Cover, TWO! Darius stands Keith up to CHOP, then UPPERCUT! Darius whips corner to corner, Keith reverses, but Darius goes up and over. Darius rolls, but Keith ROUNDHOUSES him down! Keith brings Darius over, tag to Bill, and the fans boo as Bill & Keith mug Darius. Bill drags Darius up but Darius fires body shots! If that teamwork and victory doesn’t say they’re ready, that look on Bill’s face sure does. Will the Learning Tree do this to the Hurt Syndicate? Or will Lashley & Shelton just hurt people?
Wait, The Cru slithers in! They have the chain necklaces ready like last week! Leila spots them, but it’s AR FOX that jumps in! Fox stands with Top Flight and The Cru backs off. Action says that’s fine, they’ll let it go this time. But will The Sight to See & The Man of the Hour ground Top Flight one way or another?
Backstage interview with Jamie Hayter.
Lexy Nair is with the Southampton Hayter and welcomes her back. Last time we saw her, she was victorious over Julia Hart, and now she’s in the main event of Collision. How does it feel to be back again? Hayter says it feels great. And if you know Hayter, you know she doesn’t like doing things by half measures. So being in the main event is just another Saturday night for her. But she will say she is very excited to be in the ring with a young whippersnapper like Billie Starkz. It really injects some energy into Hayter, it lights that fire. And Billie has a lot of fire herself, and Hayter likes that. Billie gets knocked down but she gets back up.
And Hayter while respects that about Billie, she doesn’t want Billie to confuse respect for mercy. If Billie steps to Hayter, Hayter will hit back and knock her on her ass. There’s no hesitation, no second chances. So if Hayter were Billie, she’d be smart. Or, find out the hard way. Your choice. Oh, and one more thing. Hayter noticed some girls are already putting in for the Owen Hart Tournament, so Hayter will do that, too. And it is very fitting that she returned at All In last year, because this year, she leaves All In the champion! Hayter is ready, how hard will she hit Billie on this Collision?
Adam Cole is here!
The Undisputed Kingdom follows him out, complete with “BOOM!” and “ADAM COLE BAYBAY!” as the Panama City Playboy prepares for his NO TIME LIMIT AEW TNT Championship match at Dynasty. As such, here comes the champion, Daniel Garcia! Daddy Magic has Garcia’s back as he goes to the ring, and the fans cheer for all parties involved. Cole has the mic and wants Garcia to listen. Cole knows tensions are high, but he’ll make this crystal clear: Cole has all the respect in the world for Garcia. The past two matches they’ve had are two of the toughest matches Cole’s had in his AEW career.
When they saw Garcia is the future of AEW, Cole means that in his soul, and the fans sure believe that. That is because Garcia is a fighting champion. When Cole challenged Garcia for the TNT Championship, Cole could not get the job done. But neither did Garcia. And so as a fighting champion, that must make Garcia sick to his stomach. He must not be able to sleep at night knowing he didn’t and couldn’t put Cole away. And unless Garcia is a coward, he’d want to change that. Cole sure wants to change that. Cole doesn’t want things to end in a draw. This needs to end with one man proving that he is better than the other, and dammit, that man is Cole!
Cole knows, Garcia knows, the entire world knows, that Garcia and Cole need to finish this fight. The fans cheer, Garcia nods, and he tells Cole he appreciates the kind words. Garcia agrees with a lot of that. They’ve been in the ring almost two months straight. And as much fun as it has been testing his iron against one of the best, truly, Garcia is getting a little bit frustrated. It is eating Garcia alive that he couldn’t beat Cole. Matt Menard tells Garcia that he is THE TNT Champion. How many chances is Cole gonna get? Garcia doesn’t need to be talked into this. It is Cole’s job to defeat Garcia, and Cole couldn’t do it!
Menard says Garcia doesn’t have to go through with this. Garcia pats Menard on the shoulder and says yeah, he doesn’t have to do this. But he wants to! So then, they will run it back one last time, BAYBAY! Roddy shouts, “DANNYYY~! Hey, listen. I have all the respect in the world for you. And just like Adam said, you are the future. And I’m not just saying this because he’s my best friend, but he is one of the best pro-wrestlers on the planet. And as good as you are, you’re just not there yet, dude.” Menard says, “Not there yet?” Menard and Roddy argue, Kyle joins in, but Garcia tells them all that this is enough!
Enough noise, enough distractions! April 6th, Kyle won’t be out there, Roddy won’t be out there, and Menard won’t be out there. Menard is a bit taken aback, but Garcia says at Dynasty, there will be no one ringside, there will be no time limit, and it will be Cole VS Garcia for the TNT Championship, ONE LAST TIME, and there WILL be a winner, cuz you’re looking right at him! Garcia holds up the title, but will he still own that title when it’s all said and done? Or is Dynasty going to be Undisputed?
Athena & Billie Starkz regroup backstage.
The Fallen Goddess says, “Mercedes~! HAHA~! Is that it?” Billie says yeah, just about. Athena says that is so annoying. But what’s the expression? Poke a bear, it might bite you? Well here’s one better. Mercedes, if you’re gonna be a passive aggressive b*tch, you’re gonna get hit. How did you like the taste of the floor? Was it good for Mercedes? Cuz it was great for Athena. So use this as a learning lesson: Keep Athena’s name, and her Minion’s name, out of your damn mouth. But hey! Mone is in the business of collecting championships? OMG, she’s such an inspiration, Athena is gonna do the same thing.
So how about this? Let’s get to real business, not that Mone knows what that is. Athena declares to her Minions and to the AEW fans around the world. Your Forever ROH Champion, Fallen Goddess, American Joshi, Minion Overlord, and all those other things, is OFFICIALLY ENTERING the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! That’s great, right? And Billie! Billie made this all come together, what a brilliant little schemer she’s becoming. Billie has her match tonight! The main event! Look at her! And against a former AEW Women’s World Champion, Jamie Hayter. Is she ready? Yeah, she’s ready! She’ll make Athena proud!
Athena is sure Billie will find a way to disappoint, but tonight, Athena will be watching very closely. Good luck. Billie gives a salute, and it seems no matter if it’s ROH or AEW, Athena keeps Billie under her thumb. Will the inaugural and former ROH Women’s World TV Champion prove she’s ready for the big time?

Dax can’t believe it, but he just got suckered in! Yuta celebrates like he’s already won the title match, and Claudio is there to pat Yuta on the back. Will the Death Riders keep scoring as Claudio takes on Cope? Or can Rated FTR even things up before Dynasty? Dax argues with the ref, the ref says his decision stands. Backstage interview with The Patriarchy.
Alicia Atout is with Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne & Mother Shayna, and notes that just like last week, they’re here without any sign of Christian Cage. Just what is going on with The Patriarchy? But before anyone can speak up, The Cru barges in. Lio Rush asks Nick, “What’s up with your boy, Fox, man?” Nick says, “Huh?” Lio repeats himself, what’s up with his boy? Uh, his boy? Fox is far from Nick’s boy. Really? They know they’re history together. Didn’t Fox try to end Nick’s career? So Nick is just gonna chill back here while Fox is out there still breathing? Nick says okay, he gets what they’re up to here. Oh, really? And what’s that?
What The Cru is really doing is asking Nick for help, simply because they can’t get the job done. Oh, is that so? Nick doesn’t blame them for asking him. But Nick’s done with Fox, that is well in the past. Well Nick’s past is creeping up on their present, so for them, that’s an issue. Oh, is that really an issue? Kip has Nick calm down. These “gentlemen” surely didn’t come and interrupt them without a reason, so The Patriarchy should hear them out. AKA, get to the point. Lio says this is all they’re saying. Three of them, two of The Cru. But when the time is right, nobody knows Fox better than Nick Wayne. Just think on it.
The Cru heads out, but will The Patriarchy’s Prodigy take them up on the offer to team up?

Lexy is now with La Mera Mera & The Galaxy’s Greatest as she says we can officially announce they are also entering the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! Kris says that last year, she was a completely different person in a much different place. But she still had the same goals as she does today. “To every woman in this tournament, and to every woman in the locker room, you can’t stop Stat!” Rosa says, “Unless you face me.” Much respect to Kris, but like Rosa told Toni Storm, Rosa never lost the AEW Women’s World Championship, and she’s yet to wear one since. So believe her when she says this: She will scratch and claw harder than ever to have the Cup above her head.
Kris says, “Unless you face me.” Rosa says okay, mamacita. See you in the Owen. They each wish the other luck, and then head out. Will La Mera Mera & The Galaxy’s Greatest battle to prove who is TRULY the best of the best?
Jamie Hayter VS Billie Starkz!

Now that was a Collision! Hayter is back, and she finds a new way to hit hard! Athena walks out on stage, and she waves hi to Hayter. Whether Billie impressed her or disappointed her, Athena now has her eyes on Hayter and everyone else in the Owen Hart Cup. Will the Fallen Goddess learn for herself that Hayter Hits Hard? Or will the Owen Hart Cup join the Athena World Domination Tour soon enough?
My Thoughts:
A very good Collision, talky as usual, but very good build towards Dynasty and the Owen Hart Cup simultaneously. Great opening promo from Toni, because she’s always great at promos, but they did a great job framing Ford’s blindside attack on Toni. And while Toni takes down Ford, Megan of course gets the last say on Toni. Toni is the underdog champion, knows she is, but knows she won’t let that stop her, and surely she comes out on top at Dynasty. Good promo from The Death Riders to hype up Dynamite. Claudio was very clever in using “Edge” and “Cope” in his part, and he will have a great match against Cope, but I would think Cope wins.
Marina had a great part calling out Willow, and that Mixed Tornado Tag will be awesome stuff. Dax VS Yuta was great, too, and real good win for Yuta. Dax losing his cool further waters the seed that is an FTR Heel Turn, but if this keeps up between Dax and Cash, could we end up with FTR VS FTR? That’d be rather wild, but it’d also make sense since FTR at some point said they were drawing closer to the end of their careers. A tag team like them, that has already done so much, having a 1v1 against each other is kinda the last thing to check off their bucket lists.
Great tag match from Bill & Keith VS Top Flight, one of the best Top Flight’s had in a minute since they’ve been going back and forth between AEW and ROH, but I figured Bill & Keith would win. They want their shot at The Hurt Syndicate, this gets them a step closer to that, and Top Flight still has The Cru after them anyway. I’m just not sure The Cru asking Nick Wayne to help out against Top Flight & AR Fox is the kind of story continuity they should be using right about now… Nick’s busy with this story against Christian Cage, he should focus on that. Unless the point is, if Patriarchy falls apart, Nick needs somewhere to go and someone to hand out with. But then The Cru is just three- Gasp! Cru-serweights…!
Great promo segment from Cole, Garcia and their friends, but uh, the announcement came in right as this segment started, so for us at home, it completely undercut how Garcia and Cole were building to making the No Time Limit title match. This is all still the right move, and Garcia telling Menard to stay away from ringside was a wild twist. Cole VS Garcia could be a borderline show stealer given how great their 20 minute draw was last time. And I still think that Cole should win the title, just so he finally has something in AEW aside from the tag title run alongside MJF. As for Garcia, losing the TNT title could be his opportunity to move on to another title, like the International or Continental Championship.
Hologram VS Blake was a rather random match to put on, but whatever, still great stuff. I wonder who finally pins/submits Hologram to end his win streak. It’d have to be someone that fans already have strong feelings for, good or bad. Like, Ospreay could get away being the guy that beats Hologram because it’s Ospreay. At the same time, MJF or Jericho could beat Hologram because not only do they have the power level, but fans love to hate them anyway so they’d love to hate MJF or Jericho as the guy who ended the streak.
And great stuff with the Women’s Owen Hart Cup, but also a build between Mercedes Mone and Athena. Mone of course beat Robyn Renegade, but she of course also had to talk trash on Billie & Athena. Athena finally being on AEW TV is great in itself, and she had a good promo with Billie to touch on the love-hate relationship between Minion Overlord and Minion 400,237 & 3/4ths that we’ve seen the past two years on ROH. Aminata going down with injury is a shame, and her promo with Deeb could’ve been a bit sharper on both ends. But Deeb naturally puts it on Aminata that Aminata needs to either join her or wrestle her, and I’m thinking we get the latter.
Good promo from Rosa and Statlander to not only add them to the Owen Hart Cup but to tease their match-up. Hayter VS Billie was a great main event, and it was another great showing for Billie in the loss. Athena confronting Hayter was also good stuff, and both Owen Hart Cups are looking to be the most star-studded ones yet. But as it stands, I’m thinking Rosa wins to get that world title match she has yet to get, and then we get Mone VS Athena for the TBS Championship, as teased tonight. All In: Texas will basically give both Rosa and Athena homefield advantage, and it’d be pretty wild if both of them won titles then.
My Score: 8.8/10

Cody Rhodes is here!
We follow The American Nightmare as walks to gorilla, then through the curtain, and London sings along with the song, “WHOA~ OH~!” Cody gets his pyro, says hello to fans along the ramp, and then we get the second “WHOA~ OH~!” and pyro. Cody goes to the ring, grabs a mic, then kneels down to kiss the WWE logo on the mat. The fans continue to sing along all the way to the end, “I AM MY KINGDOM!” The fans then cheer, and Cody holds up the belt to fire them up even more! The fans now sing for “CODY! CODY RHODES~!” and he soaks it in. The fans cheer again as Cody smiles, and he finally says, “So, London~! Whaddya wanna talk about?”
The fans chant “Let’s Go, Cena!” “CENA SUCKS!” Cody hears that dueling, and he smiles again. The song of “CODY! CODY RHODES~!” returns, then they cheer. Cody says, “At WrestleMania 41, I will be facing John Cena…” The fans boo, but Cody says, “I will be facing John Cena as he goes to break the record and win 17. But that is WrestleMania 41. In just a few nights, I will be standing face to face with John Cena in this very same city, in this very same arena.” The fans cheer that, but then here comes Randy Orton! Now the fans sing along with Voices as The Viper heads to the ring. Orton also high-fives fans before he joins Cody.
Orton grabs a mic, paces while the fans keep singing on their own, and then the fans cheer. Orton says he’s not really the sentimental type, but for Cody and for London, screw it. The fans chant “R K O! R K O!” and Orton tells Cody, “Look at you. Look at who you are now, the man you are now. Look at where he came from.” The fans cheer and sing “CODY! CODY RHODES~!” and Orton says he remembers a Cody in his early 20s, just breaking into the business. Cody was busting his ass harder than anyone else. He wasn’t exactly happy, and in fact, he was frustrated. But Cody was man enough, smart enough, to know he needed to grow, and that he couldn’t grow in the WWE.
Cody wasn’t exactly treated fairly in the WWE, so Cody left the WWE! That took some big ass balls to do what he did! Cody changed the business singlehandedly, and everyone in the back knows it. And Orton appreciates Cody for it. But then Cody came back, as they all knew one day he would. And the industry has been changed forever since the day Cody came back to the WWE. Cody is a bit teary eyed as Orton says Cody’s still the same guy, he just did what he set out to do, and he grew. Orton teases he would sing along with the fans, but the fans might leave. The fans again sing “CODY! CODY RHODES~!”
Orton asks if they remember when Cody Rhodes faced Seth Rollins in Hell in a Cell. The fans cheer because they do. Orton says that was impressive, and even impossible, as he started with a partially torn pec and then ended with a fully torn pec! His body changed all kinds of shades of purple that Orton’s never seen on a human body. The pain he must have been in. Cody persevered not just for himself. Maybe not even at all for Cody. It was not even for his family legacy; it was for each and every single fan out there! Then Cody went on to WrestleMania, beat Roman Reigns and finished the story!
But there’s always another story, isn’t there? And Cody’s right in the middle of one. Cody is in charge of his legacy, and it is a privilege for Orton to watch Cody take control of it. Ticket sales have been up, there’s more intrigue around the world, and listen to the people! It is 99.9% all because of Cody! The fans cheer that, and of course they sing. Orton says what he’s trying to say is a long-winded version of he respects Cody, loves him, and is very, very proud of him. The fans cheer that! Orton then says, “But… But now it is time for WrestleMania.” They both look to the sign, and Orton says he can guarantee Cody that Orton will kick Kevin Owens so hard in the head…!
Orton can just feel it already! He forgets how many days are left, but he can’t wait to remove Kevin’s head from his shoulders. And Orton knows Cody will enter champion, exit champion, but not before he beats the holy hell outta Cena all up and down the Vegas strip! But after all the smoke clears and the dust settles, just like Orton wants Number 17, there will come a time when Orton will want Number 15. But Orton won’t kick Cody in the balls like a coward. Orton will look Cody in the eye because he respects Cody, is proud of Cody, and sees him as an equal. Orton will look Cody in the eye and tell him that he’s coming for the title.
The fans cheer but wait! Drew McIntyre is here! The fans cheer the Scottish Terminator as he steps out on stage, mic in hand, and has a wry smile on his face as he looks at the ring. Drew waves as the fans now sing, “OH~ Drew McIntyre~!” Drew says, “Isn’t this wonderful? A couple of nepo babies having a love fest in the middle of the ring> It makes me absolutely sick. What’d you just say, Randy? if Cody gets through Cena at WrestleMania, you’re coming for that title? What exactly have you done since that big comeback to justify that title match? Aside be Randy Orton. The only big moment I can remember is you being on the shelf for months and months and months.
“People like to make jokes about it, but more people talk about my five-minute-45-second title reign than your entire comeback so far! So get to the back of the line, sunshine! As for you, Cody, you should’ve listened to me. But you shunned me. You attacked me. Everybody should’ve listened to me about John Cena, but they didn’t. And the next night, he kicked you right in the twig ‘n’ berries, proving me right as usual. And the main event of WrestleMania should be Cody Rhodes VS The UK’s only ever world champion, Drew McIntyre!” Fans do like that idea. But sadly, it’s not, because of that guyliner wearing Temu Undertaker, Damian Priest!
Drew wants to talk about what is happening. And what’s gonna happen! Drew steps up to the ring while fans sing for him again. Drew says it will not be Randy that takes the title from Cody, should he get through Cena; it’ll be McIntyre. The fans cheer, but Orton says they were trying to have a moment. Can Drew just cut the crap already? Drew says okay, sure. He’ll tell the truth, because that’s all he ever does. The truth is, Kevin might have a point! If those Voices are talking to Orton again, then they know Drew very, very well. And he’s thinking, “My God, Randy looks great! Absolutely jacked! On the outside.”
On the inside, that back is hanging by a thread. And if Orton provokes McIntyre, McIntyre will break him. And as for Cody- Cody kicks Drew and UPPERCUTS him! The fans fire up, and Orton R- NO, Drew gets away! The fans boo, but the battlelines are drawn! Even if Cody makes it out of the frying pan that is Las Vegas, it’ll be into the fire that is these contenders waiting in line! Will the American Nightmare be ready for whoever comes for the crown?

Kayden & Katana talk with Zelina Vega.
Carter & Chance know La Muneca got screwed over by The Green Administration. Chelsea thinks she’s untouchable, but someone’s gonna stop them eventually. Well, speaking of, Alba Fyre leads the way in as she & Piper Niven “scope the perimeter.” There’s one small threat. They frisk the “miniscule” threat, but nothing they haven’t dealt with before. Chelsea struts in and says, “The Eagle has landed~!” Zelina says she is so glad the “Bootleg Men in Black” have crashed the party. Now, yeah, they all know she’s small. But clearly this small “threat” is a big threat to Chelsea’s title reign. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have taken all three of them to beat her.
KC Squared agree with that. How about tonight, we see what happens when the odds are even? Chelsea says that’s fine, because Agents P & A are ready. The Secret Her-vice has been given their next mission, but will they be able to crash the party? Or will the party crash them?

The Green Administration is just too much for Zelina to fight against alone! But can she, Kayden & Katana find a way to turn things around?

Braun CLUBS Knight, then runs in at the corner. Knight BOOTS Braun, goes up, and FLYING BULLDOGS! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Knight and Braun rise back up, and Knight dodges a shot to JAB! Then he dodges to JAB! JAB! JAB! “YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!” But Braun KNEES low! Braun scoops, Knight slips free, and Knight RAMS Braun into buckles! Then the BACK SUPLEX! The fans fire up and Knight rises again! Knight spells it out, “L! A! KNIGHT! YEAH!” ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO!
Braun has plenty left in the tank but the fans rally for Knight. Knight stands Braun up to kick low, but Braun THROWS Knight away! Knight rises, and Braun LARIATS Knight up and out! The fans fire up as Braun rips the shirt! Braun gets on the track, and he runs in, STROWMAN EXPRESS MEETS JACOB FATU!! The Samoan Werewolf strikes Braun down!

The Samoan Werewolf just tore up #OneBigSOB and LA Knight, will there be no stopping him from taking the United States Championship?
Backstage interview with Jimmy Uso.
Jackie Redmond is with #BigJim, and she says that while she knew WWE was going global this month, she did not know they’d get the slap heard ’round the world! Jimmy says he’d do it again, and he’ll slap Gunther as many times as he needs! Jimmy knows Jey is up in his own head, doubt is creeping on him. But just because Jey’s 0-3 against Gunther doesn’t mean Gunther’s unbeatable! The Ring General CAN be got! Jimmy’s going to Raw this Monday, he will bust Gunther’s ass, Jey will go to Mania and bust Gunther’s ass to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. And then they leave Las Vegas just like this: YEET!
Jimmy heads out, but then The Miz & Carmelo Hayes walk by. Miz is mocking Jimmy’s words, and he asks excuse me. Miz says it’s just funny that suddenly, Jimmy is a tough guy, even though for most of his career, he’s been “The Other Uso.” Doesn’t Jimmy get it? Jimmy and Jey are career sidekicks while Gunther is a main character. Gunther is the lead, neither Jimmy nor Jey can beat him. And here’s another thing: The Usos are just blips on the trailer that was Roman Reigns’ Bloodline. Melo says Jimmy & Jey are stuck outside the club, they can’t even get in.
Miz says as a former WWE Champion, a former WrestleMania main eventer, Jimmy will never know what it is to carry this industry. And after this year’s WrestleMania, neither will Jey. Oh, and by the way, if Jimmy ever slapped Miz like that, Jimmy would still be on the ground. Jimmy feints the slap and Miz freaks out. Jimmy says it may be him and Gunther on Monday, but he’ll holler at Aldis real quick so it can be Jimmy VS Miz here tonight. Yeah, YEET! Jimmy heads out, Melo says he thought Miz was gonna do something about the slap. Will Miz have to do something about running his mouth before he gets his teeth kicked in?
Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga find Jacob Fatu backstage.
Solo asks Jacob what the Hell he was doing out there. Jacob goes out there alone without saying a thing to them? Jacob says he ain’t gotta say nothing to nobody! Matter fact, didn’t Solo not tap in with him last week? Tama says, “But Jacob,” only for Jacob to say, “But nothing, Tama!” Solo wants Jacob to lower his tone, but Jacob says okay. Let him be very clear with them. When it comes to Braun Strowman, Jacob WILL be the last man standing. Y’all better get in where you fit in, cuz that US title? Oh, Jacob’s bringing it home to the family. And he will do it with them, or without them! Yadada mean? Fatu heads out, is the Samoan Werewolf no longer following Solo?
Naomi speaks.
“I mean… How did we even get here? I don’t know. One thing that I do know is that I’ve always been the woman to do the right thing. I’ve always been the woman to do the right thing. So Bianca, what makes you think that my attack on Jade was anything different from me doing the right thing? When I sit here and I think about all that I’ve sacrificed, all that I’ve given, and that’s what really breaks my heart. Because through all of that, I’m made to be the bad one in this situation. I just don’t understand, how does Jade come in outta nowhere and take my place with you? I want you to ask yourself this, Bianca. Who inspired you? Hmm?
“Who’s inspired women over the last decade? Who’s always had your back from day one of you being here? Me. Not Jade. Hmm. But you know what? What I’ve learned through all of this: You teach people how to treat you. And I’m done with being treated as a third wheel. I’m done being pushed to the side, I’m done with being too nice, I’m done with being undervalued, underutilized, underappreciated! So moving forward, hmm… Moving forward, here’s my message to you, Jade. If you continue to be in my way, I strongly advise you to proceed with caution.” The Glow shows her dark side, but will the storm be moved?
Nick Aldis meets with Jade Cargill.
Speaking of, the SmackDown General Manager understands things have been rather difficult for her as of late. Jade says she’s been trying to get her hands on Naomi for the past few weeks, now where is she? No one has seen her all day, so as far as anyone knows, Naomi’s not here. Well, when Jade catches Naomi, it’s on sight. Jade leaves, B-Fab & Michin are there. They let her know that what Naomi did to her was straight trash, totally uncalled for behavior. And after Jade gets her hands on Naomi, she’ll handle that business. Jade agrees. Mia says they’ve all got business to handle. Jade’s got Naomi, and Mia’s gonna get Charlotte for messing with her girl, B.
B-Fab says Naomi’s got what’s coming to her: no sympathy, no regrets. Jade, just do what you gotta do. Oh, she will. Jade also wishes Mia luck tonight. Mia & B-Fab head out, will the Head Baddie in Charge make the Queen bow down in London?
The darkness approaches.
“You are as I was. As I am, you will be.” The shadows are starting to take shape, but is SmackDown about to fade to black?
Charlotte Flair VS Mia Yim w/ B-Fab!
The Queen looks down on everyone, so it’s no surprise that everyone else wants to take her down. Charlotte may have checked off B-Fab, but will the HBIC be a much different story? Or will Charlotte only sharpen her edge before facing Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania?
WAIT! NAOMI ATTACKS B-FAB & MICHIN! Naomi drags Mia up for a FACEBUSTER! Naomi rains down fists, the ref reprimands and the fans boo, but Naomi tells the ref to back off. Naomi then BOOTS B-Fab off the apron! Naomi goes out after B-Fab to THRWO her into barriers! Naomi SLAPS B-Fab, tells her to stay down, but B-Fab gets up. Naomi fires hands, then she SMACKS B-Fab off the desk! Naomi rains down fists, but here comes Jade! Jade hurries down the ramp, she runs around the way, but Naomi runs away! Jade makes sure B-Fab is okay, but refs have to help her to the back. And what of Mia? Will she even be able to compete?
Charlotte makes her entrance, not really caring about what Naomi just did to Mia. But that means she also crosses paths with Jade. The fans like the look of this stare down, but Jade and Charlotte both let the other slide. Charlotte gets her pyro, and it seems she’ll still get her match. Will Mia be little more than an appetizer now?
The bell rings, and Charlotte BOOTS Mia down! Cover, TWO! Mia stays in this and the fans rally up. Charlotte just struts around while SmackDown goes to break.
SmackDown returns, Charlotte has Mia down with a chinlock, but the fans rally up. Mia fights up, fires body shots, and she then blocks a shot to ROCK Charlotte! Mia ROCKS Charlotte again and again, then reels her in for a TORNADO DDT! The fans fire up as Mia hurries to cover, TWO! Mia drags Charlotte up, wrenches, but Charlotte says no to Da Feet! BIG back suplex! Mia stagger sup, Charlotte whips her, but Mia reverses! Charlotte goes up and out, BOOTS her away, then slingshots in and rolls Mia! Mia rolls through and BUZZSAWS! Mia runs corner to corner, but Charlotte avoids the cannonball!
Charlotte YAKUZA KICKS Mia down, then fires herself up! The fans “WOO~!” as Charlotte has Mia in the drop zone,. Charlotte steps on her, goes up the corner, but Mia gets underneath her! SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO! Charlotte survives and Mia is shocked! Mia nods as the fans rally back up, and she brings Charlotte up. But Charlotte ROCKS Mia! Mia SOBATS, PELES, and then runs to PENALTY KICK! Cover, TWO! Charlotte stays in this, Mia grows frustrated, but the fans continue to rally. Mia uses that energy to stay focused, and she stalks Charlotte to waistlock. But Charlotte ELBOWS her away!
Charlotte CHOPS, and CHOPS, and CHOSP! Charlotte winds up, and she CHOPS again! Mia sputters, but then she dodges the boot! Charlotte is caught, and Mia hits a SAIDO! Charlotte flounders to a corner, the fans rally behind Mia, and Mia runs up, CANNONBALL! Mia hurries to wrench and EAT- NO, Charlotte shoves Mia away! Charlotte gets under, back suplexes, but Mia lands out! EAT DA FEET!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Charlotte’s long legs help her survive by a literal foot! Mia is beside herself while Charlotte bails out. Mia storms after Charlotte, runs up, but Charlotte dodges! Mia’s kick hits steel steps!
Mia hobbles away, goes to the apron, but Charlotte CHOP BLOCKS the bad leg out! Charlotte grabs Mia’s leg, drops a KNEE on the knee, but fans chant, “We Want Tiffy!” Charlotte just steps through, FIGURE FOUR, into FIGURE EIGHT!! Mia taps, Charlotte wins!
Winner: Charlotte Flair, by submission
Charlotte got more of a fight out of Mia than expected, but she still won. Will The Queen be more than ready to reign again after WrestleMania?
Backstage interview with Tiffany Stratton.
Jackie Redmond is with the WWE Women’s Champion and says Charlotte certainly looks confident. Let’s be real, Charlotte came at Tiff pretty hard. It got a lot of people talking. Tiff says yes, people talk. And Charlotte sure loves to hear herself talk. Ten years into the business and Charlotte is still so insecure that she can’t let a “rookie” get a word out. But last week, Tiff did learn something: She learned that walking into WrestleMania, she isn’t the one with something to lose. Truth is, if Tiff loses, then she lost to the great Charlotte Flair, as just a 25-year-old rookie with one year into SmackDown.
But if Charlotte loses… Well, then she lost to an “undeserving, delusional, unoriginal, backflip doing, blonde-hair-having, little girl.” Did she get it all? And Tiff can’t wait to hear the look on Charlotte’s face when they hear the words, “And STILL!” Then maybe Charlotte will finally shut up for the sake of literally everyone! They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, and Tiff will make damn sure what stays is Charlotte’s massive ego. Tiff is walking into and out of Mania as the WWE Women’s Champion. Tootles! Tiff heads out, will it still be #TiffyTime after WrestleMania?
Randy Orton VS Drew McIntyre!
The Viper told Cody how proud he was, but also how he wants the next shot after John Cena. The Scottish Terminator took offense to that, and basically said he is taking that shot instead. Will this match be an unofficial #1 contender’s match between these two former world champions?
SmackDown returns and McIntyre makes his entrance. The bell rings and the fans sing, “OH~, Drew McIntyre~!” and chant “R K O! R K O!” Drew and Orton circle, tie up, and they go around in a deadlock. Drew powers Orton to a corner, but Orton headlocks back. Drew powers up and out, then he runs Orton over! Orton hurries to ropes and Drew mockingly asks, “How’s the back feel, Randy?” Orton stands, he and Drew reset, and the fans duel some more. Drew calls for a knuckle lock, Orton accepts, but then Drew kicks low! Drew bumps Orton off buckles, then climbs up, but he panders for too long and Orton YANKS him down!
The fans fire up as Orton climbs now! Orton rains down fists, and the fans count to nine. Orton hops down, brings Drew around, and POSTS him for ten! Drew tumbles out of the ring, Orton goes out after him, and they’re by the desk! But Drew kicks Orton first and SMACKS him off the desk! Drew clears the desk, and he brings Orton up for the DESK- NO, Orton fights free! Orton turns things around, DESK BACK SUPLEX for Drew! The fans fire up while Orton leaves Drew behind, and SmackDown goes picture in picture.
Drew writhes on the floor, but Orton goes out to fetch him! Orton brings Drew around, UPPERCUTS him, then says one more time! DESK BACK SUPLEX! Drew writhes as that desk stays standing! Orton grins, refreshes the ring count, and then he storms up on Drew. Drew pokes Orton in the eye! Drew POSTS Orton now, then brings him around to RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP into barriers! Orton slumps down, and Drew also grits his teeth from that double-edged attack, but Drew fires up as he stands tall. Drew drags Orton up, puts him in the ring, then stalks Orton. Drew looms over Orton, and HIP DROPS him!
Orton sputters, Drew says one more time, and he winds up for the HIP DROP! Drew paces around Orton, says maybe one more time, and he pretends he can’t hear the fans. Drew winds up again, but Orton flips over! Hip drop meets kneecaps! And then Orton pokes Drew in the eyes! The ref reprimands but Orton rises up. Drew sputters and flounders, Orton ROCKS him with a right! Drew ROCKS Orton back! Drew storms up, Orton kicks low, but Drew fires another haymaker! The haymakers go back and forth, Orton gets the edge, but Drew GLASGOW KISS HEADBUTTS! Cover, TWO! Drew clamps onto Orton with an armlock!
SmackDown returns to single picture and the fans rally up. Orton fights up, pries at the chinbar, and then throws right hands! Drew CHOPS Orton in return! The fans “WOO~” and Drew winds up. Drew ROCKS Orton again, eggs him on, then CHOPS again! Drew shoves Orton to a corner, CHOPS again, then dares Orton to fight! Drew whips corner to corner, but Orton comes back to LARIAT! And LARIAT! Drew swings, Orton dodges, SNAP POWERSLAM! The fans fire up as Orton stalks Drew to the apron. Drew HOTSHOTS Orton first! Drew then runs in, but Orton puts him through the ropes!
The fans fire up as Orton has Drew for the DRAPING DDT! The fans fire up for Orton, and Orton hears those voices! Drew rises, but then Orton spots KEVIN OWENS! The Prizefighter is on the ramp, Orton glares at him, but then he turns around into a CLAYMORE!! Cover, DREW WINS!
Winner: Drew McIntyre, by pinfall
Kevin’s mere presence costs Orton, and now Drew has a huge win propelling him down the Road to WrestleMania! As for Orton, Kevin drags him out of the ring, SMACKS him off the desk, and then climbs up to join him! The fans boo but Kevin and his hot pink sneakers have Orton in position, but Orton slips free and TRIPS Kevin up! Kevin hits the desk then the floor! Orton staggers around, the fans rally behind him, and Orton stalks Kevin to the corner of the barriers. Orton lines up the shot! Orton runs in, but Kevin jumps over barriers! Security is there to stop Orton from pursuing, so Kevin runs away into the night!
The fans boo, but The Viper was that close! Will Orton be able to strike Kevin down and completely take him out?
Fire, thunder, smoke…
The force of nature is drawing ever closer. And he’s ready to fly! REY FENIX arrives next Friday Night SmackDown!
Jimmy Uso VS The Miz!
#BigJim gave Gunther a piece of his mind and a mark on his cheek, but it seems not everyone got the message. Will the Hollywood A-lister soon star in the Uso Penitentiary? Or will he prove Jimmy is NOT ready for a world champion level opponent?
The bell rings and the two tie up. Jimmy powers Miz to a corner, Miz turns things around, and the ref counts. Miz takes a swing, Jimmy ducks it to CHOP! And CHOP! Miz shoves Jimmy back, then runs up, but Jimmy TACKLES Miz! Jimmy rains down fists, Miz shoves him away to go to ropes, but Jimmy storms back up. Miz ELBOWS Jimmy away, then runs back up, only for Jimmy to LARIAT him down! The fans fire up while Jimmy storms up on Miz. Jimmy CHOPS Miz, has him in a corner, then whips corner to corner. Miz reverses, Jimmy goes up and over, then UPPERCUTS! Miz staggers back to ropes, but Jimmy is right on him.
Jimmy whips, Miz reverses and kitchen sink knees! Then basement BOOTS! The fans fire up, Miz scowls, and Miz KNEES Jimmy in the back again and again. Miz stalks Jimmy to the ropes now, and he CHOKES Jimmy! The ref counts, Miz runs, and Miz STRADDLE ATTACKS! The fans boo, but Miz runs again. Jimmy ducks the boot, then dodges a lariat! Jimmy runs up to LARIAT Miz up and out! The fans fire up and Jimmy builds speed, but Miz runs away! Jimmy smirks as he goes out the side, and UPPERCUTS Miz over the barriers! Jimmy makes sure Gunther knows he’s coming to get him, but SmackDown goes to break.
SmackDown returns and both men are down. Miz and Jimmy crawl, and Jimmy pounds the mat. The fans rally, Jimmy rises and runs up to LARIAT! And LARIAT! And mule kick! Jimmy then UPPERCUTS Miz, dodges a lariat, then SAMOAN DROPS! The fans fire up, Jimmy goes to the corner, “UCE! OH!” Jimmy runs in, but Miz puts him on the apron! Jimmy UPPERCUTS again! Jimmy climbs, leaps, but Miz gets under! Miz then waistlocks, ripcords, and MOVIE MAKER! Fans boo that blatant parody, but Miz full nelsons! Jimmy drops, victory rolls, TWO! Miz has the cover, TWO! Miz hurries to BASEMENT DDT! Cover, TWO!
The fans rally up as Jimmy survives! Miz stalks Jimmy, the fans rally up more, and Miz fires a KICK! And then another KICK! The fans say “YES! YES! YES!” to the It Kicks, but then Miz winds up. Jimmy ducks the buzzsaw, Miz blocks the superkick, but the DRAGON WHIP connects! Miz rebounds to B-MOVIE KNEE!! Cover, TWO!! The parodies don’t get it done, but Miz still has his original work to fall back on. The fans rally for “UCE! OH! UCE! OH!” Miz runs in, A-LIST LARIAT! Miz shoves Jimmy down, then springboards, but into a SUPERKICK! Jimmy hurries up top, for the USO SPLASH!! Cover, Jimmy wins!
Winner: Jimmy Uso, by pinfall
Miz may be a movie star, but Big Jim’s the one winning this main event! Jimmy then borrows Joe Tessitore’s headset to call out Gunther! He’s coming after dat ass on Monday! Gunther won’t be the ring general, he will be “Private Gunther,” and he will salute Big Jim! Uh, uh, YEET! Will Jimmy be the one making examples out of the World Heavyweight Champion? Or will everything come crashing down when Gunther gets his turn?
Drew McIntyre returns backstage.
And he says hey to Lewis Capaldi, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, and also a big fan of Drew’s. They’re ready to have a good night in the pub, but Jackie Redmond walks over to congratulate him on the win tonight. She was hoping to get some thoughts on that victory and what happened with Orton and Kevin. Drew says it’s alright, this is what happens. He doesn’t care about anybody else’s business, but no one gets away with screwing him over. And when no one meddles in his business, he wins! Drew called out Priest, where is he? Priest doesn’t have the balls! So time to get mad in the pubs, everyone’s invited!
Drew turns the corner, but PRIEST IS THERE! Priest ROCKS Drew, SMACKS him off the door, then throws him into road cases! Priest ROCKS Drew, SMACKS him off the trunk of a car, and then again! Or since it’s London, “the boot.” The driver complains, but Priest BODY SLAMS that guy through a table! Drew comes back to KNEE Priest low, SMACK him off the trunk, and then off the side! They go to the hood, or bonnet for UK. Drew drags Priest up, but Priest CLAWS Drew’s eyes! Priest then sends Drew SOUTH OF HEAVEN through the windshield! Priest tells security that he’s done for now. Any more jokes, Drew? Didn’t think so! RIP, jackass!
Priest leaves, the producers hurry to help Drew, and Drew’s got glass in his eye! Will that glass help Drew see why he shouldn’t piss off the Punisher?
CM Punk heads to gorilla.
He has a security detail with him, and he passes by Drew writhing in pain. Punk chuckles, then continues on. Will his contract signing with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins be just as brutal? We find out, after the break.
Nick Aldis is in the ring.
The SmackDown General Manager welcomes us back, and says it is his honor and privilege to be here in the O2 in London. Now, we all know why he and this table is here, and why additional security is here tonight. Tonight, we are here to sign a contract for a Triple Threat. Perhaps the biggest Triple Threat in the history of WrestleMania: Seth Rollins VS CM Punk VS Roman Reigns! The fans cheer all those names, and here comes the OTC! London puts the ones up, and Paul Heyman accompanies THE Tribal Chief out on stage. Roman raises his finger to the sky for the pyro, then security follows him to the ring.
SmackDown goes picture in picture as Roman’s entrance continues, and he raises his finger to the sky for the second round of pyro. Roman steps into the ring, SmackDown returns to single picture, and Heyman hands him a mic. The fans sing, “ROMAN! ROMAN REIGNS~!” Roman nods, the fans cheer, and now they chant, “O T C! O T C!” Roman tells London, “ACKNOWLEDGE ME!” The fans cheer again, and again chant, “O T C! O T C!” Roman smiles, but he sees the chairs are not to his liking. Heyman makes sure to put one at the head of the table. Heyman also dusts the chair off while Roman enjoys the singing of, “ROMAN! ROMAN REIGNS~!”
Roman takes a seat and says that was beautiful. The way they sing to their Tribal Chief, it’s just beautiful. The singing continues, and Heyman even joins in! Roman smiles, and he says that is what he’s talking about. That’s the OTC for you, baby! The biggest star on the planet! The OTC came here for two reasons. One: to be acknowledged; check! And two: to sign this contract. Roman does just that, and he says he’s checked both boxes. That means- “BURN IT DOWN!” Seth Rollins interrupts! The fans now sing, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” Rollins struts out in his red wine paisley suit and conducts the O2 Choir all the way into the ring.
The fans cheer while Roman frowns, but Rollins takes the seat to Roman’s left. Rollins offers Heyman a chance to sing to this song, but Heyman frowns. Rollins chuckles, and he says the fans do have beautiful singing voices. He doesn’t know why Roman is in such a hurry to leave, though! This is their building! There’s a lot of history here! 12 years ago, they landed on the roof of this place in a helicopter! They came down those stairs over there, “ready to burn down the old guard!” They put the Undertaker down through the desk, and they were going to remake this company in their image!
Now don’t get him wrong, Rollins knows a lot has happened since then. They fought against each other, with each other, a little bit of love and a whole lot of hate. But Rollins dare says, as the fans continue to sing “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~,” that Rollins and Roman accomplished their mission. The fans start to chant for CM Punk, but Rollins tunes them out. Roman says, “We? We? You keep saying we. Our mission? We died a long time ago. It’s only been ME. You been here, but I done all the work! I’ve made this place what it is today! I took us to the level that we are here today! I made this place better than we found it!
“I’m the one that made us desirable to Netflix! I’m the one that took us into billion-dollar deals! Tell me, what have you done?” Rollins shouts, “I’ll tell you what I’ve done! YOU, YOU, YOU, it’s that mindset that keeps me having to screw you! You understand that? And your biggest mistake is not understanding the danger that’s right in front of us! The danger that’s right in front of you! You let the biggest snake in the world, CM Punk, into the garden! And you could’ve cut his head off at WarGames! But instead, you shook his hand. You could’ve let me finish him inside the cage at The Garden, but you didn’t. And now, I am left to do what I always do: Clean up your mess, again.”
Rollins drops his mic, picks up the pen, and signs his part. And now, here comes CM PUNK! The fans fire up and sing along with Cult of Personality, then join in on saying, “IT’S CLOBBERIN’ TIME~!” Punk goes to the ring, but as he grabs a mic, he goes up a corner, just like he did last Friday. “I have come here to chew bubblegum and sign a contract. And I’m all outta bubblegum.” The fans cheer the Rowdy Roddy Piper reference, and Punk hops down to take his seat on Roman’s right. Punk looks over said contract, but Roman asks if Punk needs a highlighter or something. What’s he doing? Just go to page four, clause five.
Punk does as Roman says, but Roman says Punk needs to hurry, this is precious TV time. Punk reads the segment, Roman tells Heyman to just smarten Punk up. Heyman tells Punk he knows what Punk is looking for. It is in there. They’re closing the show at WrestleMania. The fans go wild hearing that! Heyman tells Punk that he gets to live his dream of dreams. CM Punk will be a WrestleMania main eventer! The fans cheer and while Roman smiles, Rollins is furious. Roman says, “One man’s dream is another man’s favor! CHECK!” Wait, this was the favor? Rollins says no! This is not something to laugh at, and Punk does not get to tear up!
Punk is NOT deserving! He does NOT deserve this! The fans boo but Rollins continues to throw a fit! Main eventing WrestleMania is SACRED, the most important thing in the world to Rollins! More than anything! Except the fact that Punk NEVER gets to main event! This is all Roman’s fault! This is all Heyman’s fault! Rollins THROWS his mic down, paces angrily, but Punk picks up the mic. The fans cheer Punk on again, and Punk stands to thank London, to thank Chicago, to thank Louisville, Kentucky, and to thank ALL the fans. As corny as it sounds, he thanks the WWE Universe who stood by him and chanted his name for TEN LONG YEARS!
Roman says hold on, hold on. Punk shouldn’t be thanking the fans! He should be thanking the Tribal Chief! It is because of Roman that Punk gets this honor! So please, take this moment, close the show with that acknowledgement! Do this the right way. The credits are already rolling as Punk kneels before Roman!? Punk smiles, and he thanks “My Tribal Chief, the holder of the ula fala, the Head of the Table, the… Big Dog? Thank you for allowing a kid from Chicago to be graced by your presence. Thank you, My Tribal Chief, for allowing me to stand in your ring. And thank you so much. Thank you, Roman Reigns, so very much.
“But because of you, I will see you in the main event of WrestleMania.” And again, Rollins is agonizing over this. Punk finishes putting his signature on the contract, and London tells him, “You Deserve It!” Punk thanks Roman again, and then says, “But that’s not the favor that I’m owed.” WHAT?! Roman looks at Heyman and Heyman can’t look him in the eye! If getting this Triple Threat made into the main event isn’t the gift of the Wise Man, then what is?!
My Thoughts:
A good SmackDown, but they pulled off quite the paradox. They made it feel like they were struggling to fill three hours, yet they also filled the show to the point where that contract signing segment was almost bleeding over the three hour mark. Ironically, part of the problem was just how excited the London crowd was for this. The superstars still wanted to enjoy the chants and songs, but that’s time SmackDown doesn’t have to spare. It made the opening promo from Cody, Orton and Drew take longer, and it kinda did the same to the contract signing at the end. Even so, we still got a very good promo, and good stuff to set up Orton VS McIntyre.
Orton VS McIntyre was a great match, but of course Kevin costs Orton. McIntyre gets his win, Kevin and Orton have a bit of a brawl, but of course Kevin ends up on the losing end and runs off. McIntyre’s trash talk also comes back to bite him as Priest gets the better of him in their brawl. Here’s hoping Drew didn’t actually get glass in his eye, but that being the thing in kayfabe can be some good stuff. I can imagine McIntyre with an eyepatch, and he takes it off at the opportune time to get the better of Priest in their match. Also what a fitting choice for Punk to be passing by Drew suffering because of real glass.
Very good title matches tonight, but of course the status quo was kept. Pretty Deadly gets to look great here in London, but the Profits only just got the belts, they’re not going to be transitional champions like that. And Knight VS Braun was really good stuff, but honestly, Jacob Fatu going after them both should’ve been a given. Jacob also had a great promo with Solo & Tama to start adding to that divide between Jacob and Solo. I would hope Solo doesn’t screw Jacob out of the US Championship, but it feels like he will as Solo won’t stand for Jacob defying his authority, even though Solo’s been trying to make Jacob the champion all along.
Very good stuff from Jimmy Uso tonight, from his promo with #MeloDon’tMiz and then a great match with Miz. Their match ended up the de facto main event match, so that’s also great for both guys. Great win for Jimmy, but that’s likely because Jimmy is losing big time to Gunther on Monday. And it might just be me, but it feels like only now is the Jey VS Gunther build really moving, largely in part because Jimmy got involved. Jimmy’s promo after his match is something along the lines of what Jey should be saying. But I suppose as brothers, Jimmy is the one who knows Jey best and knows what Jey needs to be motivated again. And seeing Jimmy get beat up by Gunther will definitely motivate Jey…
Good final vignettes for Rey Fenix and Aleister Black. I’m a little surprised they confirmed Rey Fenix is showing up next week, and that they confirmed who Rey Fenix even is. I believe commentary confirmed Rey Fenix is Penta’s real brother, even namedropped “Lucha Brothers,” but all that is still surprising considering Fenix is going to start on SmackDown. Aleister’s vignette (at least I am fairly confident it’s his) was giving us glimpses of his silhouette, but I think there was usage of AI in the snake imagery. It was fine they did it for El Grande Americano because that is all trolling, but they really should try and do things the old fashioned way of photoshop and stock imagery.
Very good stuff in the Women’s Division tonight, though the WWE Women’s Championship portion was the weaker. Naomi’s got a great Heel persona going, her promo was great, and her going after B-Fab & Michin over them supporting Jade was a great detail. Jade runs Naomi off, helps B-Fab, but there was no helping Michin in being fed to Charlotte. Tiffany had a decent promo, and it does fit how Charlotte kept her from speaking so she finally gets things out here. It didn’t really add that much, though, but they already gave us a great brawl so not sure what more they can give.
KC Squared VS The Secret Her-vice was a very good match, but of course Chelsea made sure her team won. A Six Woman Tag of Zelina & KC Squared VS The Green Administration is certainly coming, to help give us Zelina VS Chelsea for the Women’s US Championship.
My Score: 8.7/10
