The Attitude Of Aggression returns for another installment of The Big Four Project, a chronological analysis, review, and discussion about WWE’s Big Four PPVs/ Premium Live Events. On this Episode, the guys cover Survivor Series ’92, an event that saw a radical departure from Survivor Series events of the past. With many top stars having departed the WWE in the Fall of 1992 (or having been fired), the 1992 edition of Survivor Series saw only one traditional Survivor Series match. But it did feature some firsts, such as the first ever televised Coffin Match in PPV history, the first time Mr. Perfect would wrestle a match since Summer Slam ’91, the PPV debuts of Razor Ramon and Yokozuna, and the first of three truly notable battles between Bret “Hitman” Hart and Shawn Michaels. Their match at Survivor Series ’92 was an instant classic and it was so good, that the guys decided to do a watch along here on this Episode! All that plus behind-the-scenes stories and lesser-known factoids the Big Four Project famously delivers time and time again. Join us here for all that and much more on another epic installment of The Big Four Project!

Attitude of Aggression

The Attitude Of Aggression returns for Chapter 10 of The Big Four Project, a chronological analysis, review, and discussion about WWE’s Big Four PPVs/ Premium Live Events. In this chapter, the three amigos, Dave, PC Tunney, and DJ, reconvene to discuss two more huge events in pro wrestling history: Summer Slam ’91 and Survivor Series ’91. Summer Slam ’91 is generally regarded as one of the better Summer Slams in history, and one of the most face friendly PPVs ever. With three title changes, The Mountie going to an NYC jail for the night, and the marriage of Macho Man and Elizabeth, it is easy to see why it is such a beloved event in WWE history. But dark clouds were rapidly approaching. Here in Chapter 10, the guys delve very deeply, indeed, to look at all this and much more including the emergence of Bret “Hitman” Hart as a true force on the singles scene, the Legion of Doom making history, the backstage drama that led to the exit of The Ultimate Warrior from WWE (the first time), the steroid scandal that caused many to sour on Hulkamania, the reluctant reinstatement of the Macho Man to the active roster, the arrival of Ric Flair in the WWE, the Undertaker winning his first WWE Championship, and so much more. Join us here for another epic installment of The Big Four Project!

**NOTE: This Episode was recorded prior to the events of the WrestleMania XL Kickoff**

Attitude of Aggression

The Attitude Of Aggression returns for Chapter 8 of The Big Four Project, a chronological analysis, review, and discussion about WWE’s Big Four PPVs/ Premium Live Events. In this chapter, Dave is again joined by the one and only PC Tunney, along with the returning DJ of the Mindless Wrestling Podcast, to discuss two more huge events in pro wrestling history, Summer Slam ’90 and Survivor Series ’90. After WrestleMania VI, The Ultimate Warrior had conquered Hulk Hogan to become the WWE Champion and the future seemed ultimate, to say the least. As history would show, however, that is not how things worked out. Here in Chapter 8, the guys delve very deeply, indeed, to examine the reign of The Ultimate Warrior and what went wrong. Why couldn’t the Warrior click with the fans, and Vince McMahon, like the man he vanquished to win the title? It is a fascinating question, and the conclusions might surprise you. Along the way, we also cover topics such as the debut of Kerry Von Erich in WWE, The Hart Foundation recapturing the WWE Tag Titles, the bitter feud between Hulk Hogan and Earthquake, the debut of The Undertaker, a forgettable debut of the GobbledyGooker, and one of the most unique, and pointless, matches in Survivor Series history. We have all that and much more here on Chapter 8 of The Big Four Project!
