Once a friend told me this ‘’logic in WWE does not exist’’, when I first heard this I told him he was wrong but as the years went by I knew he was right and every time I see a show made by WWE, they prove that my friend was right, that logic and common sense does not apply in the head of Vince McMahon while booking the WWE shows.

Ever since the death of WCW, the promotion owned by Vince McMahon has shown they work better with competition but in 2016 NJPW decided they wanted the challenge WWE to see who is the best promotion in the world of wrestling. WWE may have the better production of all wrestling but in the rest like wrestling or booking they are struggling to engage audiences as the years pass by meanwhile NJPW in the hands of the great booking of Gedo and the amazing matches that Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega are delivering every time they are in the ring, the world is taking notice that NJPW is the best promotion in terms of booking and matches right now.

WWE likes to ignore the fans in every turn they have and WWE with 20 to 30 writers fail to engage the fans to their mediocre product they show on TV and a clear example is the Roman Reigns booking we all have seen in the last four years. NJPW in the same four years built with Okada a great face in NJPW with amazing booking, matches but most important they were booking for the fans and not to entertain one person.

In terms matches, NJPW books what the fans want to see but also they add logic and use the popularity of The Being The Elite to add even more context to the Bullet Club storylines and people like it meanwhile WWE has it’s best roster in terms in ring work but the booking is all wrong and a example of this was Jinder Mahal being world champion and almost burying the prestige of the belt in 2017 or currently with a part timer like Brock Lesnar being Universal champion right now. In NJPW the IWGP Heavyweight Championship is booked in a way that makes sense and is good for the promotion in general.
