SmackDown General Manager, Paige, starts the show!

And please welcome back the SmackDown Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch! Yes, The Man is back in town! Nia Jax’s face-breaking, concussion-giving punch kept Becky from fighting Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series, but that hasn’t stopped her from being Relent-Lass. Fans are happy to see Becky and Becky’s happy to be back. Any time is too much time away for her. She bled, fought and won during the raid against Raw and still wanted to fight. But she couldn’t, she wasn’t allowed to. “But not no mo’, baby girl.” The Man is putting herself back in the game! Survivor Series had someone else step into Becky’s shadow for once. As such, Becky gets down to business and calls out Charlotte Flair! And here Charlotte comes!

The Queen walks out and joins both Paige and Becky in the ring. Charlotte did her best to battle Rowdy Ronda at Survivor Series but she resorted to a brutal attack with kendo sticks and chairs. Charlotte suffered her punishment of a hefty fine, but it doesn’t seem like that’s the issue here tonight. Fans duel with chants for Becky and echoing “WOO~!” Becky told Charlotte to give Ronda a beating like Becky would’ve, and she came close. But if it was Becky beating Ronda down, Ronda wouldn’t have gotten back up. Becky wanted Charlotte to step up, but does Charlotte know who Charlotte is? It took Charlotte channeling Becky to beat Ronda. Charlotte tells “Becky, Becky, Becky, Becky,” that she wasn’t being Becky, she was being Charlotte Flair. “The only woman on either roster capable of giving Ronda the beating that she deserved.”

And Becky, or The Man, or whoever, do you know why? Because Charlotte is genetically superior with the mindset to do anything possible to get the job down, “WOO~!” Oh come now. Charlotte went from copying her old man to copying The Man. She’s a bootleg Becky trying to take what’s Becky’s. But at least we know she’s being genuine about it now. Wow Nia really hit Becky hard, didn’t she? Because Becky went from quirky to delusional. Becky is copying Ric while riding Charlotte’s coattails. As for Ronda, “The Queen stands out in a crowd”, and will be at TLC because she’s the one born ready. And Charlotte fought for herself that night, and will fight against Becky here and now!

Paige keeps the peace and shuts these two down. Paige enjoys the fire in Charlotte, and she hasn’t seen that since seeing it in Becky. She hasn’t seen anything like these two, so the SmackDown Women’s Championship rematch will happen, at TLC! But that’s not all, because it will be a TLC Match!! Becky and Charlotte love the idea of that, but then here comes Mandy Rose? And not just Mandy, she has Sonya Deville, Zelina Vega & The IIconics with her. “What a joke.” This is insulting! How dare Paige say no one else has shown the same desire as Charlotte. Everyone talks about what Charlotte did to Ronda, but the reality is that any of them could’ve done that. Any one of these five deserves a match over Charlotte. Paige just doesn’t give them the time of day. Paige left Absolution, for PCB. Why?

But wait, here come Naomi, Asuka, Carmella and Lana! “Hold up, wait a minute, let me put some glow up in it!” These four heard what Mandy was saying, and weirdly enough, they agree. Paige surely isn’t questioning any of their desire. The entire SmackDown women’s Division has great talent. Becky wants them to line up, she’ll smack the heads off all of them! Paige eases Becky back and tells everyone to calm down. But Paige loves the passion! So therefore, every woman will be in a Battle Royal! The winner of that moves on to join Charlotte and Becky for a TRIPLE THREAT TLC! A golden opportunity on the road to Tables, Ladders & Chairs, who will win a ticket to the title match in time for the holidays?

The Usos speak.

“We told y’all!” Jimmy & Jey, along with Team SmackDown, held it down for the Blue Brand at Survivor Series, 6-1! There’s only one name in the game and it’s UCE-O! They take on the tag team champions, after the break!

The Bar VS The Usos!

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions have had a rough few weeks. They lose to The Authors of Pain after a urinary distraction, and then lose to The New Day in the first-ever Thanksgiving Feast Fight. As for Jimmy & Jey, they were the sole survivors to be the 1 in 6-1! Will they bring Cesaro & Sheamus their third loss in a month? Or can the Swiss Cyborg & Celtic Gladiator break out of the Uso Penitentiary?

And for those wondering why the Giant isn’t out ringside for his new pals, it’s because The Bar were upset with him over that Thanksgiving Feast defeat. Cesaro blamed Show for why The New Day got away with that food fight frenzy, so Show punched Cesaro with his giant fist! The trio is back down to a duo, will that affect The Bar in any way?

The bell rings and Sheamus starts with Jimmy. They tie up and Sheamus gets a headlock takeover. Jimmy headscissors out then gets his own headlock. Sheamus powers out and runs Jimmy over. Sheamus runs but into an uppercut! Tag to Jey and the Usos chop away. Jimmy holds Sheamus for Jey to forearm smash then dropkick! Cover, ONE, but Jey stays on Sheamus. Sheamus rocks Jey with a forearm and tags in Cesaro. Cesaro throws hands on Jey then whips him to a corner. Jey stops himself and uppercuts back. Tag to Jimmy and Jimmy goes up to hit double ax handles on Cesaro’s arm. Cesaro pulls Jimmy’s hair and has him on the ropes. He backs off but Sheamus hotshots! Sheamus tags in and they whip Jimmy for the Bar Lariat! The Bar says their catchphrase and we picture in picture.

Sheamus stomps away on Jimmy and puts him in The Bar’s corner with a European Uppercut. Cesaro tags in and hotshots Jimmy, then gives his own EuroUppers. Cover, TWO! Cesaro keeps on Jimmy with an armlock, and wrenches that elbow into the keylock. Cesaro wrenches while Jimmy endures. Jey rallies the fans and Jimmy feeds off the energy. Cesaro tags Sheamus and Sheamus mule kicks Jimmy. The Bar ouble whip for Super Saiyan Kicks! Sheamus soaks up th eheat while Jimmy winces. Sheamus shouts at the fans over their disrespect, then brings Jimmy up. Jimmy hits back with uppercuts and chops! Jimmy backs Sheamus down but gets a mule kick. Sheamus tags Cesaro, and The Bar mug Jimmy with stomps. Cesaro has Jimmy down and stomps away until the ref backs him off.

Cesaro drags Jimmy up again, and into the chinlock. He pulls on Jimmy’s head as fans rally up again. Jimmy powers his way towards his corner a step at a time, but Cesaro pushes him back the other way. Cesaro tags Sheamus and hands off the headlock. Sheamus thrashes Jimmy about, but Jimmy endures. Jimmy gets his second wind and pulls on Sheamu’s Mohawk. Sheamus thrashes more but Jimmy keeps fighting up. Jimmy jawbreakers free! Sheamus tags Cesaro and Cesaro boots Jey down! Jimmy dodges but there’s no one to tag. We return to single picture as Sheamus tags in and rocks Jimmy with a big knee! Sheamus carries Jimmy back to The Bar’s corner and Cesaro tags in. Cesaro rocks Jimmy with another EuroUpper, and Sheamus helps with the suplex. Cover, TWO!

Cesaro tags back to Sheamus and Sheamus rocks Jimmy with another knee. Cover, TWO! The Bar keeps its cool, but fans rally for The Usos. Sheamus puts Jimmy in the corner but Jimmy fights back! Jimmy rocks Cesaro and dumps Sheamus out. Cesaro hurries to get Sheamus up and in, but Jimmy heads for his corner. Tags bring in Jey and Cesaro! Jey rallies with lariats, kicks and a shout-out to Roman Reigns with the fist pump uppercut! Jey whips Cesaro and hits a Samoan Drop! Fans fire up with Jey as he aims at Cesaro. Corner to corner hip attack hits! Cover, TWO! Jey is surprised but he doesn’t lose his cool. He runs into an elbow, Sheamus tags in.

Cesaro takes the dragon whip kick, but Sheamus waits for Jey to build speed. Jey leaps, Cesaro rock shim with an uppercut! Sheamus knees Jey in the back! Sheamus keeps moving, knee drop from the second rope! Cover, TWO! Sheamus keeps going, and is even higher up now. Jey gets out of the way and shoves Sheamus into a post! SUPERKICK for Cesaro! SUPERKICK for Sheamus! Cover, TWO!! Sheamus survives but Jimmy is back up. Jey tags his brother and each Uso takes a corner. Fans fire up as they both aim at Sheamus. Cesaro slides in to EuroUpper Jey! Jimmy leaps on knees, Sheamus rolls him up, TWO!? Sheamus is shocked, but he takes his frustrations out by raining rights on Jimmy. He drags Jimmy over in the fireman’s carry and tags Cesaro.

Cesaro climes but Jey SUPERKICKS Sheamus from behind! Cesaro blats Jey out but Jimmy rolls Cesaro up, TWO!? EuroUpper hits, but then Jey tags in! Cesaro misses in the corner an dgets double kicks! SUPERKICK brings him down, Jimmy Uso Splash! Cover, USOS WIN!

Winners: The Usos, Jimmy pinning

#LOCKDOWN! Jimmy & Jey make the best of even odds, but can they capitalize all over again should they get a tag title match?

The New Day are laughing.

They’re clearly watching something on Xavier Woods’ phone. The Miz comes over and asks what. They say it’s Miz’s best work. Oh wow, Miz didn’t realize they were die heard #Mariners, aka fans of The Marine. What’s their favorite part of Marine 6? Oh no, sorry, they weren’t watching Marine 6 starring Becky Lynch. They were watching Miz from last week losing to the Bryant Brothers. Who who who pinned him? Wayne or Dane? Or Bane? Or Kane? Kairi Sane? Oh wow the guys throwing pancakes making fun of him. Miz and Shane, #BestTeamintheWorld, were battling through injuries from their Survivor Series battle to defend SmackDown’s honor. The same Survivor Series where the New Day’s team were the only SmackDown win 6-1? They were just fine.

Well their match didn’t count, and it was The Usos who won! And it’s not like The New Day wouldv’e done better. Miz can beat any of them, he’s 2/3rds of Best in the World! In fact, Miz will set up a match for tonight. What’s up with Miz? Well Jake Carter has been through a lot, but is still a family man at heart. OMG Big E is actually a fan of The Miz’s Marine trilogy!? But in all seriousness, who will The Miz call out in his match later tonight? And will Miz back up his words of being mostly Best in the World?

AJ Styles heads to the ring!

After 371 days, The Phenomenal One lost his WWE Championship. But “the new” Daniel Bryan cheated to become the new champion. They’ll have their third match against each other at TLC, so Styles promises to speak on that and more tonight. Fans duel between Styles and Bryan already as Styles says that “for 14 days, I have been without the WWE title.” Those 14 days seem a lot longer than those 371 days he had the title. No one likes losing, especially Styles, but it’s the way he lost that bothers him most. And by that, he means Daniel Bryan taking advantage of the referee going down to kick below the belt. On top of that, Bryan beat Styles down after with stomp after stomp and kick after kick. Styles knew there would be a target on his back, but to think that target would move to somewhere else.

Styles knows what it’s like to want something so bad he’d do anything to get it. But it was those stomps and kicks that made it worse. Styles wasn’t even cleared to be part of Survivor Series or last week’s SmackDown because of that. So Styles was home as Bryan gave us his explanation. Bryan claims to be a “new” Bryan, all because his dreams manifested and fought for him. Styles thinks that’s a bunch of BS. But old Bryan or new Bryan, Styles will bash Bryan’s face in either way. And why wait for TLC?! Let’s do this here and now! Fans want it, but the only problem is, Daniel Bryan didn’t show up tonight. Bryan wasn’t at Starrcade or house shows. Maybe Bryan was watching Raw and borrowed a certain idea.

But SmackDown isn’t Raw, it’s the House that AJ Styles Built! For 371 days, Styles never took a night off! He was the champ, and the ring is where he belonged! So if Daniel ever rolls out of his chamber, make sure you show up at TLC. Bring your dreams, your excuses, but most importantly, bring the WWE Championship, “because it belongs to me!” Styles is fired up for the finale of this trilogy, will Styles become the new champion? Or will it still be the new Daniel Bryan?

Lars Sullivan is on his way.

The Leviathan of NXT has decimated many opponents in many different ways, and has both Stephanie and Shane McMahon clambering to put him on their brand. Who will win the bidding war to get this new monster on their roster?

Shinsuke Nakamura VS Rusev!

The King of Strong Style is still WWE United States Champion after WWE Starrcade this weekend, mostly thanks to The Miz going after Rey Mysterio for him. But then the Bulgarian Brute helped Mysterio defeat Nakamura & Miz in a tag match afterward, establishing that Rusev wants back in the hunt. The King has been searching for worthy competition, has it found him first?

But before a bell can ring, Nakamura attacks Rusev! Nakamura stomps away at the ropes then drags Rusev out for a KINSHASA! Rusev goes down and slumps out of the ring while Nakamura laughs. Nakamura goes out but referees keep him away. Fans boo and jeer as Nakamura aims at Rusev again. Nakamura hits Rusev with another Kinshasa! The King leaves without even having competed, but will he be forced to take the Super Athlete seriously sooner or later?

No Contest

We celebrate 20 Years of Jeff Hardy!

The stage is lined with both SmackDown and 205 Live rosters while Michael Cole is in the ring. Please welcome the Charismatic Enigma himself, Jeff Hardy! Hardy appears and everyone from fans to fellow superstars give a standing ovation to him. Hardy takes a quick lap around before he enters the ring. Cole cues up footage that reminds everyone of all that Hardy has done these past two decades, Hardy’s self-portrait of extreme risks and exciting moments. “Sky’s the limit, so here we go.” So many times, Jeff hardy has climbed up something high to jump off it, exciting and maybe even scaring fans in attendance. Alongside his brother, Matt, Jeffy Hardy has held the tag team championships multiple times, and has himself become a Grand Slam Champion with world, Intercontinental and United States Championship reigns. Hardy’s “self-portrait” is nothing less of a Hall of Fame bid.

Fans and fellow superstars given Hardy another standing ovation as the footage ends. Hardy himself is humbled, and can only say thank you to the WWE Universe. Watching all that back, “what’s wrong with me?” Hardy has had a great creative outlet, and he’s gotten much better at face paint. Being the Charismatic Enigma in the highest highs and lowest lows, the fans sticking by him through it all means so much to him. Hardy thanks the fans and the fans thank him back. He even throws a quick “DELETE! DELETE!” Maybe they should delete that? Hardy wouldn’t be here without his wife and kids, and the fans, so he thanks them all for making this night possible. And this is far from a retirement speech, and Hardy isn’t sure what the future holds, but let’s all find out together!

But wait, there was one star who wasn’t present. Here comes Samoa Joe! Shane tries to talk Joe down but Joe “congratulates” Hardy on 20 years. That’s such a long time. Excuse the tardiness, Joe was preparing for a toast, but we all know having a drink around Hardy isn’t the best idea. Shane wants to silence Joe but Hardy wants him to get this off his chest. Joe thanks the WWE for that “wonderful anthology”, what a special treat since Hardy probably wasn’t coherent enough to remember it himself. Joe does not celebrate weakness and does not believe in second chances when there are men like him who haven’t even had their first. Hardy just responds with “DELETE! DELETE!”

Joe continues on to say that what’s worse is that Hardy, after making so many mistakes, still lets himself be put up on a pedestal. For as many times as Hardy has made fans leap out of their seats, there are times he’s let everyone down. But Joe’s consolation is this: people like Hardy never change, those demons never go away, they’re always waiting to get him again. And Hardy will have a “next time”, so Joe offers his hand in a one-step program. It’s quick, but anything but painless. Hardy won’t let Joe rain on the parade. He’s walked this tightrope 20 years and still lives for the moment. How about we have a moment right now?! Hardy’s ready for a fight, but Joe has a change of heart. Joe laughs it off, but will he have to back up his words eventually?

The Miz VS Kofi Kingston w/ The New Day!

The Hollywood A-Lister wanted this match, and now he gets this match! He’ll face the high-flyer of the trio, but will Miz prove he’s truly 2/3rds Best in the World?

The bell rings and Kofi circles with Miz. They tie up and Miz gets a wristlock. Woods hands out pancakes while Kofi flips and handsprings to trip Miz. Kofi splashes and covers, TWO! Kofi keeps on Miz with a headlock but Miz puts him in a corner. They break but Miz kicks low. Miz reels Kofi into a headlock while fans demand more pancakes. Kofi powers out but Miz runs him over. Miz say “No Pancakes!” then runs. Kofi speeds things up and runs Miz over with a back elbow. Kofi clotheslines Miz out, then builds speed. Miz runs away but Kofi was just teasing. Big E pelvic thrusts and Woods plays the trombone, Kofi DIVES! Kofi takes Miz out and The New Day fire up together as we go picture in picture.

The New Day laugh and enjoy themselves before putting Miz back in the ring. Kofi runs and crossbodies to a cover, TWO! Another crossbody cover, TWO! Miz clobbers the crossbody out of the air! Miz stomps away on Kofi, then runs to hit the low boot. He paces around Kofi befre sitting him up. He drives in a knee and hooks the nose. The ref reprimands him so The Miz goes for the arms. Kofi resists and gets up, to put the hold on Miz! Miz turns it back around fast, and brings Kofi down to his knees. Kofi gets back up and fights out! Kofi whips but Miz reverses. Miz runs and hits his A-list lariat! Miz climbs while we return to single picture, and leaps, only to get a dropkick! Kofi and Miz are both down but fans rally behind The New Day.

Kofi is up first and he rallies with double ax handles. He dropkicks and hits the leaping lariat! The New Day fire up again as Kofi hits the Boom Drop! Kofi then takes aim from Miz from a corner. Fans clap along as Kofi swings, but Miz blocks the kick to go for the Figure Four. Kofi powers out, wants the SOS but Miz gets the full nelson. Kofi wheelbarrows and victory rolls out of the Finale to the cover, TWO! Miz gets Kofi with the backbreaker but the neckbreaker is denied. SOS! Cover, TWO!! Miz survives and The New Day can’t believe it. It was close, but Kofi is up again. He brings Miz up but Miz grabs ropes. Miz then kicks low and hits the basement DDT! Cover, TWO!

Miz keeps his cool but then goes for a buckle pad. He pulls it off, but Big E prepares a counter measure! Miz whips Kofi over, but there’s a stack of flapjacks in the way. Kofi rolls Miz, TWO! Kofi kicks away and runs, but into the kitchen sink knee! Woods plays the trombone, but Miz blasts him with a dropkick! And then blames the buckle pad on Big E?! The ref argues with E while Miz gets a chair. Woods takes that away, Miz walks into Trouble in Paradise! Cover, Kofi wins!

Winner: Kofi Kingston, by pinfall

The New Day work together to make sure Kof didn’t lose to the Miz’s miz-chief! Things aren’t going so well for 2/3rds of Best in the World, will he ever live up to that nickname?

Randy Orton heads to the ring!

The Viper still has the damaged mask he took from Rey Mysterio last week, his trophy for the brutality he put on the King of Lucha after their main event match. The Apex Predator has gone from Legend Killer to hero hunter, and he’s only getting started with Mysterio. Orton takes up a mic and says, “disrespectful, disgusting, disturbing.” Those words were used by the fans to describe his actions. But in Orton’s mind, it was “euphoric.” He never understood the big deal behind a mask, “this piece of trash that I ripped of Rey Mysterio’s face.” Orton never bothered to learn the history because he didn’t care to know.

But to make it clear, Orton wasn’t disrespecting lucha libre culture. What he did was to embarrass Mysterio. This was to yank Mysterio off the pedestal the fans put him on. Orton proved to the world that at this stage in Mysterio’s life is “another one of my victims.” A victim of the three most devastating letters in wrestling today. But before Orton can get past the R, Rey Mysterio is here! Mysterio wears a neck brace after what the chair shot to the post did. But he’s not backing down from Orton, he’s bringing the fight! But Orton knees low and then throws Mysterio around! Orton damages this mask and then yanks off the neck brace. He puts Mysterio in the ring but officials come out to stop him. They don’t, so Mysterio kicks away! And then 619 to Orton’s side!

Mysterio keeps going, enziguri putting Orton back on the ropes. And another 619! Fans fire up with Mysterio as he goes to get himself a chair! He wants to return the favor but referees want him to stop. Mysterio doesn’t listen to them, but Orton gets him at the ropes! Draping DDT on the bad neck! Mysterio is down but Orton isn’t leaving it at that. Orton grabs that chair, and then drags Mysterio back out. Orton throws Mysterio against barriers again, then drags him up by his mask. He puts the chair against Mysterio’s throat and shoves Mysterio into the steel steps!! Security comes out to back Orton off, he’s done enough! For the second week in a row, Orton has driven steel into Mysterio’s throat. Will Orton pay for his crimes against the living legend? Or has he erased this hero once and for all?

Shane McMahon meets with The Miz backstage.

Miz wants to know where Shane was. He was back here, obviously. Miz wants Shane to try and meet him half way on making their team a thing. Or a third of the way. Miz could’ve been Kofi if he had his tag partner by his side. Shane points out they’re not actually a tag team yet, but Miz is busy shining the World Cup trophy. Miz, pay attention. Oh sorry, he couldn’t hear Shane over the cries of their neglected World Cup. Whether Shane likes it or not, this trophy bonds them together. It is like their child! And they’re the Best Parents in the World. And that makes them family. So start acting like it! Miz makes Shane hold the World Cup before he storms out. Is Miz 2/3rds crazy right now? Or will Shane come around to join Miz in the #BestTeamintheWorld?

SmackDown Women’s Division Battle Royal!

The Man, Becky Lynch, and The Queen, Charlotte Flair is ringside to watch The FABULOUS Princess, The Golden Rose, The Gladiator Gal, The IIconics, La Muneca (The Doll), The Ravishing Russian, The Empress and The Glow all compete to be part of THE Women’s Championship Triple Threat TLC match! Who joins the historic and hard hitting match in San Jose?

The bell rings and brawls begin! The IIconics fight Asuka and Carmella while Lana goes after Zelina Vega. This leaves the duo formerly known as Absolution to pick on Naomi in another corner. Vega turns things around on Lana while Peyton Royce and Billie Kay get the better of Carmella and Asuka. Lana puts Vega on the apron but Sonya goes after her! Lana bails out from the bottom rope, but she yanks Vega off! The Ravishing Russian ELIMINATES Vega! Vega is furious so she yanks Lana down and runs her over! The battle rages on while we go to break.

SmackDown returns as Lana recovers on the outside. The IIconics go after Carmella while Sonya and Mandy battle the Empress and Glow. Naomi helps Asuka by pulling Mandy away. Lana returns and rallies on the Aussies! Peyton saves Billie and they work together to double whip Lana. The IIconics ELIMINATE Lana! But then they turn around to see the familiar foe of Asuka! Asuka dodges them both to hip attack Billie. Pop up knee for Peyton! Then a forearm for Billie, and a doge, to dump her out! Billie holds on but is kicked. Peyton goes after Asuka but she gets dumped out. Asuka back hands Peyton and the IIconics are stuck. Asuka hip attacks and ELIMINATES both IIconics!

The Empress and the Princess meet, another familiar match up. FABULOUS Kick for Asuka! Carmella drags Asuka up and feeds her a boot in the corner. She then runs back in, but is tossed out. Asuka forearms Carmella, then throws more hands. Carmella covers up, but screams in fear of a roundhouse. Asuka waits until she’s done, and says to breathe. Then she boots Carmella down! Asuak ELIMINATES Carmella! But Sonya and Mandy go right after her! Naomi saves Asuka but gets hit herself. Sonya drags Asuka up to feed to Mandy’s golden knee! Absolution drag Asuka up and throw her at the ropes. Asuka holds on and Naomi saves her again. Naomi fires forearm after forearm on Mandy, then whips. Rear View hits! Sonya runs in but misses, to get a springboard roundhouse!

Naomi fires up as she headscissors Mandy. Mandy blocks with insane strength, and then lifts Naomi up. Naomi end s p on the apron but looks to pull Mandy out with her. Mandy yanks Naomi but Naomi does the splits. Then she dodges Mandy and sends her into the post! Mandy falls, Naomi ELIMINATES Mandy! But then Sonya knees and ELIMINATES Naomi! The final two are Sonya and Asuka, both fierce female fighters. Time to put your hair up and square up! Fans fire up for Asuka as she circles with Sonya. Asuka avoids Sonya’s grip and then fires off kicks. Sonya fires kicks but Asuka dodges them, only to get tackled to the mat! Sonya drags Asuka up quick, and throws Asuka out. Asuka holds on and counter punches.

But Mandy comes back! Mandy’s making up for screwing Sonya out of the Evolution Battle Royal, but gets a sliding kick for it! Sonya runs, but Asuka sees her coming! Asuka kicks her away, kicks her again, then drags Sonya up by that ponytail. Asuka goes to suplex Sonya but Sonya resists. Fans chant and both women are on the apron. They brawl on the edge, double roundhouses rock them! Both Asuka and Sonya hold on and stand back up. They run at each other again, pop up knee ELIMINATES Sonya! Asuka wins!!

Winner: Asuka; joins the SmackDown Women’s Championship TLC Triple Threat

A historic match now becomes epic! The Queen and The Man meet The Empress for the title, will either of them be ready for Asuka?!

My Thoughts:

What an incredible night for SmackDown! And this week wasn’t even about being Raw but better, it was just straight up better. This SmackDown not only lived up to its big episode hype, it exceeded it. Everything was great from top to bottom, and even the weakest part of tonight’s SmackDown (which I’m not even sure if there was a weak point) was still stronger than Raw’s main story.

Opening with Becky’s return was a good move, because that was definitely what fans wanted to get to right away. Becky gave a sort of backhanded compliment to Charlotte with how the beating on Ronda, while great, still wasn’t good enough. Charlotte was the only confusing part, she talked so strongly about doing all that for Becky but then tells Becky she didn’t do it for Becky. Well Charlotte is becoming the Mad Queen so maybe it’s okay if she’s inconsistent.

And while giving us Becky VS Charlotte at TLC is a good move, SmackDown does us one better by giving all their women some time to shine. SmackDown’s use of their Women’s Division is the polar opposite of Raw’s, and all for the better. Raw only had one women’s match last night and two segments that didn’t really work the way they hoped. SmackDown put all their women into one match and it was amazing! I am so so so happy to see ASUKA gets back to the title scene after all she’s been through. It might not happen with how red hot Becky is running right now, but it’d be rather amazing if Asuka won the title at TLC. This would free up Charlotte and Becky to fight, blaming each other for the loss, and then yes, finding a way back to Horsewomen VS Horsewomen.

Then for the men tonight, it’s very strange for Big Show to quit The Bar so soon after joining them. But again the running gag is that Show always seems to flip sides. That aside, Bar VS Usos was incredible and now The Usos have a win over the champs. The New Day also have a win over The Bar, so maybe we’re looking at a Triple Threat tag title match, perhaps with Ladders or Tables. Raw and SmackDown have already established their own TLC matches, so something else needs to be used. For that matter, give me a Chairs Match of Bryan VS Styles. Heel Bryan might try to use Champion’s Advantage, so removing disqualifications makes sense, and it ups the ante so Styles can really beat down “New” Bryan to his heart’s content.

SmackDown also does better at establishing these new feuds. Nakamura refusing to have a match with Rusev by attacking him pretty much confirms they’re competing for the United States Championship in some form. Samoa Joe is going after Jeff Hardy, which makes for a great match-up, and obviously Orton still wants after Mysterio. Call me crazy but I’d love if all three stories were put together in a Six Pack US Championship match, maybe with tables or a ladder. Then Miz’s loss to Kofi establishes “tension” between Miz and Shane in relation to the World Cup. I’m hoping this gives us Miz VS Shane at Wrestlemania, winner has “full custody” of the trophy, aka their “child” as Miz puts it. Having a long build to this will be great, as Miz can use it to establish a better Tweener character, since he seems to be headed down that path.

My Score: 8.8/10

JOHN CENA IS HERE!

The fans already chant “Let’s Go, Cena!” “CENA SUCKS!” before the music even begins! Then they sing along, “JOHN CENA SUCKS~!” as Cena walks out in the custom London merchandise. Cena goes to the ring, “The Last Time Is Now” towel draped over the back of his head like the other times, then he sets the towel on the apron. Cena grabs a mic, the fans continue to duel, and Cena winds up before bringing the mic up. Only for Cody Rhodes to make his entrance! The fans sing along with the song, “WHOA~ OH~!” The pyro goes off, Cody high-fives the fans in the front row and along the ramp, then he heads to the ring.

We get the second “WHOA~ OH~” and pyro before Cody pounds on the steel steps and steps up into the ring. Cody and Cena circle each other a bit before Cody grabs himself a mic. The fans finish singing the song, “YOU’LL FOLLOW ME UNTIL THE END~! I AM MY KINGDOM!” The fans cheer, then change to singing, “CODY! CODY RHODES~!” Cena steps to Cody but Cody tells him, no no no. We listened to Cena talking for two weeks, so allow Cody to do his job for him! Cena will cook Cody, end him, but where does he want to start? There is so much to make fun of when it comes to Cody! For starters, Cody’s lisp.

Cody will give him this one: Stardust! Fans cheer for “STARDUST! STARDUST!” Cody says that must bother Cena, that is who he is wrestling at WrestleMania 41, his final time! What else can Cena go after? Oh, yes! Cody spots it in the crowd and brings up the “arm tattoo on his neck.” The fans again sing for “CODY! CODY RHODES~!” Cody keeps going: He got booed in a company he helped make. But Cena won’t go for that. Maybe Cody is struggling with the idea that Superman is truly dead. The fans duel for “Let’s Go, Cena!” “CENA SUCKS!” Cody says this brings him to his next point: Cena’s words have not matched his actions.

For these last two weeks, Cena has lied to the audience. The fans boo, and Cody says they used to ride together, sing Poncho & Lefty. Cena surely cared about Cody, and he for sure cared about the fans. Don’t even look at Cody, look at the fans and tell them the real reason why. The fans chant, “You Sold Out!” while Cena thinks on his words. Cena says he is not going to reduce himself and punch down to Cody’s level. Cody’s been protected long enough. Cena also won’t “cook” Cody, he’ll just BURY him! Just like Cena has buried everyone else! The fans have been saying for years that Cena buries talent. Cena doesn’t bury talent, he IS talent! Cena BURIES mediocrity!

Cena doesn’t give a rat’s ass about the lisp or his failures. Cody has manipulated his way to the top of this business, and his ego outweighs his ability. All Cody has done is ride the coattails of Cena’s success! Cena has been so great, that the WWE could hand the heartbeat of this business to Cena’s chauffer! That’s right! Cody, your champion, is nothing more than Cena’s chauffer. A slimy pickpocket that thinks just cuz he stole the blueprints, he can run the kingdom! That is WHY Cena did it! Because it disgusts him! Cody sat by Cena’s side for YEARS, and stole every secret he needed to be undeniable, but he is still underwhelming.

Cena tried to drill it into Cody’s egotistical skull. Cody has to be authentic because fans can see through phony. Cody is too polished, too rehearsed, and relies on lazy gimmicks like fans singing his name just to get by! The fans boo, but then also sing, “CODY! CODY RHODES~!” Cena says Cody is just like the Pied Piper! All he’s ever done is find a way to make a catchy tune trick the people into loving mediocrity. Strip away the music and entrance, there is not much to look at but that pinstriped suit. But you could walk Cena out in silence, and you can bet your last dollar that he could body you before your first breath!

Cody Rhodes does not look like John Cena, doesn’t act like him, and doesn’t work like him. But Cody also doesn’t look like himself, act like himself, and work like himself, because he is still afraid to show who he is. So what do we get instead? Cody gives us a generic mix of every superstar he’s ever loved and every TV show he’s ever watched, in some big confused blob, that makes him still look like a 16-year-old kid taking acting lessons, because he is too afraid of public speaking. Cody Rhodes has shown Cena ONE thing, and the one thing is that someone mediocre wearing something meaningful is all it takes to trick the people!

Cena has worked too damn hard to make THAT a symbol of mastery to have it paraded by a paint-by-numbers, sociopathic nepo-baby who is so into himself that he had his wrestling gimmick tattooed for the world to see! It’s not where the tattoo is, it’s what the tattoo IS that exposes Cody for who he is: a common fan like the rest of them. So after WrestleMania, it’ll be great for Cody! He can go to Fanatics, buy the toy belt, call himself the fans’ champion, because the last real champion is taking that belt home forever to expose Cody for who he is: an errand boy that got lucky! Fans are actually fired up behind Cena!?

Cody tells Cena that he didn’t expect this. But maybe Cena is right. Maybe Cody was chosen. But you know who chose him? The fans did. Can Cena say the same? Or was it some guy in an office who isn’t even here anymore and we can’t even talk about him? Yeah, let’s go ahead and go there. Stirp everything away from Cody, does he know who he is? He’s a wrestler like his father before him, and if anyone is a corporate creation, it is Cena and not Cody! Gosh, everyone is so terrified of Cena on the mic but Cody isn’t not. Cena had more d*ck in his promo than in his jorts! Making fun of Cody for looking like he’s a kid?

Well, Cena’s the one who hangs out with Zac Efron and wishes he was 16 again! And thanks for the softball saying Cena created all of this and he created Cody. Well, Cena created a lot of disenfranchised fans that made it easy for Cody to pack up, go somewhere else, and say, “Hey! Look at me!” Cody tells Cena not to act like he cleaned up his room before he packed up for Hollywood. And while we’re at it…! There are two of them in this ring right now, and what Cody is about to ask might punch a giant hole in Cena’s logic. Between the two of them, which one of them sold out to The Rock? The fans again chant at Cena, “You Sold Out!”

Cody tells Cena that Cena is still Cody’s hero. But Cena is also a POS. Cena smirks while fans repeat that. Cena says just like all the fans’, Cody’s head is full of feces and not facts. Cena has worked 100 times harder than Cody and never once in all of that was he ever protected from the audience, or the superstar, present company included, taking their best shot. Everyone knows that every time Cena steps in the ring, it is a challenge to every superstar to take their strongest swing to see if they are worthy to put Cena down. NO ONE has been worthy! So Cena has just decided to do it himself. That’s why Cena has never left, has always been here.

No matter how high the hill is to climb, no matter what garbage they give him, Cena finds a way to make it great. Cody had to leave because Cody realized that at best, he can’t even wipe Cena’s ass! Cena makes empires for billionaires! All Cody ever did was steal money from their kids. “See you at WrestleMania, champ.” Cena turns to go but Cody wants to remind Cena, that all the time Cody has been here, never once has an audience ever chanted, “You Can’t Wrestle.” Cena hears the fans repeat that and he turns red int he face! Cena storms back into the ring, he and Cody square up, but then Cena smirks again.

Cena tips his hat and then takes a swing! Cody catches him! CROSS RHODES!! Cody smooths out his suit while he stands over Cena. Then he points to the sign while fans sing, “CODY! CODY RHODES~!” Cody holds the belt up before he exits, will Cody do very much the same in just 19 days?

The Usos are pumped up. Jey knows Jimmy told him earlier, but Jey would just feel better if he was out there with Jimmy tonight. Jimmy knows that, but tonight is different. Adam Pearce talks with Chad Gable.

Gable admits, Pearce did a great job signing El Grande Americano. Did you see that last week? Gable wouldn’t mind getting into the ring with that guy some day. Pearce says the LWO would like that, too, but apparently, Gable still isn’t well enough to compete? Uh… Gable coughs on cue, and has another doctor’s note. Of course… That’s a shame, though, because next week, Raw returns to Minneapolis. Wait, Gable’s hometown? Well, he’ll be good by then! Give him a match! He’ll compete! Pearce says that while he appreciates that, the doctor’s note kinda ties his hands. Gable says by the time he’s back on American soil, he’ll be fine. Gable knows how to get healthy.

Pearce says no, nothing is more important than Gable’s health. Beside, Pearce is already making arrangements. Who better to compete on American soil than El Grande Americano? Gable says no, that’s HIS hometown! But it is official. Doctor’s orders, Gable. Gable frowns, turns to go, but runs into the Alpha Academy. Gable says, “Clowns. Idiot.” He leaves, Pearce apologizes for that, but Maxxine Dupri hopes Pearce has time to talk the tag team division. He is always happy to talk about Otis & Tozawa. Maxxine says it’s not just them, but also she wants to discuss her opportunities. Maxxine has been talking with Natalya lately, and they’ve got some ideas.

Pearce says in that case, let’s all get together and talk. Maxxine appreciates that! What could we be getting for The Alpha Babes & The Queen of Harts?

AJ Styles is here!

London cheers the Phenomenal One, and he goes right to the ring to get the mic. The fans cheer Styles on more, and Styles says he has been waiting in the back patiently. Logan Paul said he was gonna call Styles out, but Styles is tired of waiting. If Logan has something to say, come out and say it right now. Logan makes his entrance, and the fans boo the Maverick. Logan grins as he swaggers out here in sleeveless hoodie, drinks some Prime, then rips up a fan’s sign mocking Prime. London taunts Logan with “Who Are Ya? Who Are Ya?” Logan grabs a mic to say he hears them. Styles, bud, you wouldn’t understand. And neither would the fans.

No one here has the same fame as Logan Paul. As a global phenomenon who is incredibly wealthy, and also really good looking, everyone here is on his time. Styles enjoys the fans booing Logan, but Logan says he is making them wait. They do as they’re told because they’re all sheep. But Styles, don’t get your shiny panties in a bunch. Logan had a change of heart, brother. Fans tell Logan to S T F U! Logan says that’s a shame, he came out here to be nice. But Styles, Logan had a change of heart. He is a dad now! He’s trying to teach his daughter the art of forgiveness, so please. No, you’ll all like this, so please.

Logan takes off his sunglasses and forgives Styles for what Styles did at Madison Square Garden. But Logan doesn’t forget, so don’t try that again. The fans still taunt Logan, Logan says they know who he is, and it’s why they’re here. Styles says okay, he feels that. He has a daughter, too. So y’know what? Styles forgives Logan, too. The fans cheer Styles, and Logan asks what Styles has to forgive him for. Styles wants us all to hear him out. Styles forgives Logan Paul for being the biggest douchebag to ever step foot in the WWE. The fans cheer that! Styles says Logan brags about his success and his money, but the fans don’t care about that!

The fans care about what Logan is willing to sacrifice in this ring for them! Logan has all the talent in the world, Styles gives him that. But in this business, talent only gets you so far. So the question is: What’s Logan gonna do with it? Logan says okay, that’s true. He’d ask Styles for advice, but the saying goes, “Don’t take advice from someone you wouldn’t want to trade places with.” Styles says that’s a good one. Another saying goes, “Don’t let your mouth write a check your ass can’t cash!” Logan asks if that’s a threat. Styles says no, it’s Monday Night Raw! And they’re in London, England! Styles has his gear, he’s right here in the ring. What does Logan think?

Logan thinks Styles is just saying stuff that’s true. Logan is done talking! Styles knows it, London know sit, Logan doesn’t fight for free, and London cannot afford him! Everyone here is poor, congrats! That guy, this guy, and this guy probably spent his entire life’s savings just to get front row. Congrats, you peaked. How about this? Call a spade a spade, Styles must want the big money match. So how about setting his sights a little higher? Logan pionts tot he Mania sign, then takes a cheap shot! Styles blocks it to fire off on Logan! The fans fire up, and Styles brings Logan around, only for Logan to get away!

Logan bails out, but Styles pursues! Styles dodges a lariat to SMACK Logan off the desk! Styles says this is Bullet Club Styles tonight! Styles steps in, but Logan YANKS the ropes to jam him up! The fans boo while Styles writhes. Logan dares Styles to get up, and then he reels Styles in! PAUL-VERIZER!! The fans boo but Logan just soaks it up. Will Logan be even more ImPAULsive should they go to Vegas?

So not only does Lyra have to keep her promise to Bayley, but she has to prove she can and will beat her.

Next week, it will be the rematch! Lyra VS Bayley for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship! Jackie likes the breaking news! Lyra said she’d be a fighting champion, she is living up to the reputation. But will The Morrigan hold onto the Shiny Shiny after taking on The Role Model?

Bianca Belair heads to the ring!

Tonight, the #1 contender to the WWE Women’s World Championship is the Special GuEST Referee! But will she be the fairEST referee? Or will she let emotions get the better of her when calling this main event?

Judgment Day regroups backstage.

Liv & Raquel are so proud of Dom & Finn for winning out there. Finn says he pinned Penta 1-2-3! And not only that, this is the second week in a row that he got the better of Bron Breakker! It is WrestleMania season, Finn’s on a roll, and he’ll go talk with Pearce about getting another title match. Great work, Dom! Finn is back! Finn hurries off, but then Liv frowns at Dom. Did Finn just say that? Did Finn just say he won, not they won? Dom says that’s not what he meant, but Liv says Dom worked just as hard as Finn to get that win. Finn thinks he deserves another title match when he had one and lost already?

Liv says Dom never lost. And she is going to talk with Pearce as soon as Finn is done! Liv heads out, Dom and Carlito don’t understand why this is happening. But who will get their shot at the title as we draw closer to WrestleMania?

WWE Women’s World Championship, Special Guest Referee Bianca Belair: Iyo Sky VS Rhea Ripley!

The Evil Genius got this title thanks in part to Bianca distracting Mami, and Mami’s been trying to get back on top ever since! Will Rhea win her rematch in part thanks to Bianca? Or will Iyo always have Rhea’s number?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised by Bianca, and we see how WrestleMania’s title match shakes out!

The bell rings and the fans sing for “IYO! IYO SKY~!” Rhea and Iyo circle, tie up, and they go around. Iyo headlocks, they go around some more, and Rhea puts Iyo on ropes. Bianca calls the break, counts, but no one listens so she has to get in there herself. The fans rally, the two tie up and then throw hands! Rhea waistlocks and she THROWS Iyo to a corner! Rhea RAMS into Iyo again and again, Bianca counts, but she again has to get Rhea to stop. Bianca reminds Rhea, she’s the ref so they have to listen. Iyo leap son Rhea for a facelock, and she rains down fists! Rhea and Iyo scrap in the corner, the fans duel, and Bianca counts.

Iyo doesn’t listen, so Bianca brings her back. Bianca reminds Iyo that Bianca is the ref. Rhea returns, Iyo headlocks, but Rhea powers up and out. Rhea then blows past Iyo, rolls, but Iyo steps over the takedown to a cover! TWO, Rhea has it, ONE! Iyo has it! ONE, Rhea has it! ONE and Iyo has it! TWO, and Iyo jackknife bridges! ONE, Rhea sunsets, ONE! The two scramble to their feet, the fans cheer, and Iyo runs to handspring! Rhea gets clear but Iyo SHOTGUNS! Iyo kips up, but Rhea LARIATS! Both women are down and the fans fire up while Raw goes to break.

Raw returns and Rhea covers, TWO! Rhea argues the count with Bianca but Bianca says her count is fair. Rhea is annoyed but she drags Iyo back up. Iyo JAWBREAKERS back, then SHOTEIS! And SHOTEIS! Iyo runs to SHOTGUN Rhea down! The fans rally and duel as Iyo whips Rhea to a corner. Rhea reverses, Bianca has to hurry out of the way. Iyo goes outside, GAMANGIRIS, then goes up top! MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up while Rhea flops out of the ring and Iyo kips up! Iyo builds speed, and she DIVES! Down goes Rhea and the fans fire up again! Iyo hurries back into the ring, but refreshes the count.

The fans cheer as Iyo says let’s go again! But Rhea Electric Chair Lifts Iyo to SLAM her off the apron! Bianca counts, but Iyo POISON-RANAS in return! Rhea and Iyo are both down, Bianca keeps counting, and we’re past 5 of 10! Rhea hears 8, Iyo and Rhea both spring in at 9.5! The fans fire up as this continues, and Bianca watches both women closely. Rhea and Iyo fire forearms, the fans fire up again, and the shots go back and forth! Iyo seems to have the edge with the fans, and she blocks a shot to fire a flurry! Iyo then KICKS a leg out, winds up, but Rhea ducks the buzzsaw! Rhea waistlocks, Iyo victory rolls, STOMP 182!

The fans fire up and Iyo hurries to the corner. Iyo steps on Rhea as she goes up, up, and- NO, Rhea CLUBS Iyo first! Rhea climbs up, Electric Chair Lifts again, but Iyo fires fists! SUPER- NO, Rhea stops the Rana, fireman’s carries Iyo, but Iyo makes it a SUPER CRUCIFIX DRIVER!! The fans are thunderous as Iyo crawls to the cover, TWO!! Rhea survives and “This is Awesome!” Rhea flounders to a corner, Iyo goes to the other. Iyo runs in, SHINKANSEN! Iyo puts Rhea back in the drop zone, then goes up, up, and- NO, Rhea shoves Iyo tot he apron! Rhea drags Iyo up, but Iyo HOTSHOTS back! Iyo then climbs, CROSSBODY into a HEADBUTT!? Cover, TWO!!

Rhea is beside herself as Iyo survives that antiair! The fans rally and duel while Rhea talks trash on Iyo. Rhea wobbles, drags Iyo up, and then Rhea pump handles. RIP- DD- NO!! Rhea counters the counter to suplex! But Iyo slips around, only for Rhea to pop her around, RAZOR’S EDGE!! And a PENALTY KICK!! Cover, TWO!!! Iyo survives that double shot and Rhea is freaking out! Bianca swears her count was fair, and Rhea is pulling at her hair in frustration. Rhea drags Iyo up, pump handles again, RIP- NO, Iyo slips out to body scissor and JAPANESE LEG ROLL CLUTCH! TWO!! Now Iyo is the one shocked!

Iyo hurries to wheelbarrow, but Rhea stops that! Rhea lifts, but Iyo switches! Rhea switches, Iyo switches, but Rhea ELBOWS Iyo away! Iyo staggers into Bianca, Rhea runs up, but Iyo dodges! Rhea tells Bianca to get back in to do her job, and Rhea covers. Bianca counts, TWO!?!?

Double Disqualification; Iyo retains the title

Rhea is furious, and she bites the rope in her anger! Rhea goes after Bianca now, and she fires hands! They both brawl, the fans are thunderous again, but now Iyo ASAI MOONSAULTS! Down goes BOTH Bianca & Rhea! Iyo is just as pissed and she puts Rhea in the ring! The fans cheer Iyo on, but here comes Bianca! Bianca DECKS Iyo, rains fists down on her, but now Rhea is back! HEADBUTT for Bianca! Pump handle and RIPTIDE!! Then Rhea drags Iyo up, and gives her a RIPTIDE!! The fans fire up as Mami IS on top, title or not! Fans want all that “ONE MORE TIME!” so Rhea obliges! Rhea drags Bianca by her braid to bring her to a corner!

Rhea drags Bianca up top, pump handles, and SUPER RIPTIDE!!! Rhea tells both Bianca and Iyo that this is far from over! Rhea holds up the title as she stands over both of them, but will she really be denied her WrestleMania Moment?

My Thoughts:

A great Raw here, especially to close out the Euro Tour. Cena and Cody gave us another awesome promo, the first one that actually had a back and forth, not just Cena’s part then Cody’s part. They both really got some strong digs into each other, hard to say who won the war of words, but Cody stood tall tonight as Cena did deserve some comeuppance from Elimination Chamber. But at the same time, this could be an indication that Cena is winning at WrestleMania, but two weeks out is a little early for go-home math.

Great stuff bringing New Catch Republic back for London, but I had a feeling New Day would win no matter what. Erik & Ivar showing up to confront New Day was good stuff, and that’s gotta be the Mania match. At the same time, Maxxine Dupri surely wants Pearce to consider Otis & Tozawa as potential contenders. Mania has been crafting Triple Threats and perhaps even some Fatal 4 Ways, so it wouldn’t be surprising if War Raiders VS New Day also had Alpha Academy or some other team adding to the mix.

Speaking of, there’s been word that the Men’s Intercontinental Championship will be a Fatal 4, and we certainly got that teased with the Judgment Day. Good promos from Judgment Day to keep that passive aggressive dysfunction going. Very good tag match from Finn & Dom VS Bron & Penta, and the usual tactics of course helped Judgment Day win. Finn wants his shot, Liv wants Dom to get his shot, and surely Penta will be owed something for how Judgment Day’s been doing stuff, so there is the Fatal 4, easy as that.

Great bit with Gable and Pearce where Gable is going to miss out on wrestling in his hometown, but El Grande Americano gets his chance, and brings into question if Gable will start to flip things so that El Grande is “sick” but Gable is just fine. Great stuff with Gunther and the Usos. Good match, and Gunther attacking the Usos from behind was also a good touch. I won’t say that beating makes up for the bad pacing of this build, but Jey watching Jimmy just bloodied and battered, that was still some strong stuff. This finally gets Gunther VS Jey in gear, but there’s still two more Mondays to hopefully keep this up, not drop the ball again.

Good promo segment from Styles and Logan, maybe just a little thrown off by how fired up the fans were to cheer Styles and boo Logan, but they got their points across. Logan self-righteously apologizing, Styles backhandedly apologizing, and they brawl to where Logan uses a cheap tactic to get the advantage, there’s our Mania match. And similarly, great main event for the Women’s World Championship. Bianca did a very good job playing up how she doesn’t know how to be a referee, it’s what made that first “accidental” strike believable. Then you add on the tension we’ve seen the last few weeks, it just works that Bianca would make this a draw, only for Rhea to stand tall anyway. At this point, Pearce is just stuck because Bianca and Iyo will each want payback on Rhea, Triple Threat is made.

My Score: 8.9/10

AEW’s back in the Good Land!

It’s pronounced, “Mill-e-wah-que.”

Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. And as AEW continues towards Dynasty, Rated FTR and the Death Riders prepare for their World Trios Championship match by pitting Dax Harwood against Wheeler Yuta!

OFFICIAL RESULTS

  • Jay White VS Kevin Knight; White wins.
  • Mercedes Mone VS Robyn Renegade; Mone wins.
  • “Big Bill” Morrissey & Bryan Keith VS Top Flight; Bill & Keith win.
  • Dax Harwood VS Wheeler Yuta; Yuta wins.

PLAY BY PLAY

Toni Storm is here!

Milwaukee cheers as The Good Land is now TIMELESS! Toni goes right to the ring, puts her AEW Women’s World Championship belt right down on the mat, and has a mic to say, “Milwaukee, I love you.” The fans cheer that! Toni says please, enough of the banter! “Megan Bayne, get your oiled up, feathered ass out here right now!” No response, so Toni says fine. If Megan is too busy crushing watermelons and eating babies, then listen up! The spotlight drops on Toni as the fans chant her name. Toni says, “Last Wednesday, you were the better woman. I don’t know what happened, it all happened so fast. But before I knew it, I was flat on my back like you’d just bought me a steak dinner.

“I am embarrassed. I am hurt. And I’m ashamed. And the worst part is, you made it look so easy.” Toni rests on the mat beside her belt to say, “I went back to my hotel, and I turned off all the lights. And I laid there, going over the same scene in my head over and over and over again, wondering if this is what’s going to happen to me at Dynasty.” Fans say no, but Toni continues, “And then, when the sun came up, I was covered in sweat. Moreso than usual. But I got up, and I went into the bathroom and I took a piss. And then I stubbed my toe, then I whacked my head on the sink. And when I came to, I looked into the mirror, and I remembered exactly who I am!”

The fans cheer, and Toni rises up to say, “I am Timeless Toni Storm! And at Dynasty, I will be leaving with your tits in my purse!” Toni approaches the ropes for her close up, only to be CLOBBERED by Penelope Ford! The Superbad Girl grins, the fans boo, but Ford fires off hands on Toni! Ford whips, but Toni reverses to GERMAN SUPLEX! Ford ends up in a corner, Toni runs in, SWEET HIP MUSIC! The fans fire up as Toni stomps a mudhole into Ford! But then Megan CLOBBERS Toni! The fans boo as now the Megasus gets the drop on Toni! Megan fireman’s carries, FATE’S DESCENT on the belt!

The fans boo even more as Megan sits Toni up, tells her to “BOW! DOWN!” then throws Toni down again! Megan stands over Toni, and with just EIGHT DAYS left, is there no such thing as “timeless” in AEW?

The Death Riders speak.

Claudio Castagnoli starts with German, and he says that while Dax Harwood will be the first victim of the Death Riders, this Wednesday is when the Swiss Cyborg does something for himself. Claudio calls out Adam Copeland to go 1v1 for what Cope did to him! And if Copeland thinks that was ruthless, Claudio knows he is losing his edge and is just trying to cope with it! Claudio will beat Cope to a pulp, but leave just enough of him alive to limp to Dynasty so he can team up with his “two little groupies,” and fail at another chance of becoming champion here in AEW.

Moxley pats Claudio on the shoulder and says, “There are only three women I fear in this world: My mother, my sister, and my wife. Until I met Marina Shafir. On the day that she just snaps, I know I don’t wanna be the one who pissed her off. Part of me thinks maybe me and you, Swerve, we should just grab some popcorn, sit and watch these ladies tear each other apart. But you talked a really, really big game on Wednesday, and now you gotta back it up. Right now, that’s the job. Poor, sweet Willow.” Marina speaks up and warns Willow in Romanian, then in English she dares Willow to keep smiling once Marina’s ripped out her liver and shoved it down her throat!

Moxley & Claudio look at each other, Moxley with wide eyes and Claudio with a big smile. They head out with Marina, will there be no solving this Problem?

Jay White VS Kevin Knight!

The Switchblade has put his name in the hat for the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, knowing full well Will Ospreay and Hangman Adam Page will be in it, too. But will White be rolling towards the Owen Hart Cup opening round? Or will The Jet take him on quite the flight?

Knight floats to a facelock, floats to a cover, but White slips through to headlock. Knight rolls free and the two stand off. The fans cheer, White and Knight reset, and they knuckle lock. They tie up again and are in a deadlock.

Knight headlocks, White rolls free, then he hits a headlock takeover again! Knight headscissors, White kips free again, and now Knight headlocks. White powers up and out, they RAM shoulders, and White rebounds to run Knight over! But Knight springs right back up! The fans cheer, and now White fires forearms! White runs, Knight hurdles, but then White fakes Knight out! The fans cheer, Knight still arm-drags White around!

Knight ducks ‘n’ dodges White to tilt-o-whirl and RANA! Not the smoothest but White is right up to CHOP back! White shakes out the stars, storms up on Knight and CHOPS again! And CHOPS in the corner! The fans fire up while Knight goes to a corner. White storms up, reels Knight in, then suplexes. Knight slips free to UPPERCUT, UPPERCUT, and UPPERCUT again! Knight whips, White grabs ropes, and then White TOSSES Knight to the apron! Knight bobs ‘n’ weaves, ROCKS White, then steps in. White grabs a leg, DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! Both men are down and the fans rally up!

Knight stands, White CHOPS him to the corner! The fans fire up and White LARIATS! White brings Knight around, suplexes, BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Knight stays in this but White stays calm while Collision goes picture in picture.

White looms over Knight, drags him up, and CHOPS! Knight flops out of the ring! White pursues, but Knight CHOPS! White CHOPS back! Knight CHOPS in return! White CHOPS, Knight CHOPS, and repeat! Knight fires CHOP after CHOP, then he puts White in the ring. White is on Knight with a CHOP! Knight sputters while White catches his breath, and then White covers, TWO! White covers again, TWO! White clamps onto Knight with a chinlock and grinds him down. Knight endures, fights up, and fires body shots. White CHOPS Knight again! Knight sputters and flounders to the corner but White is on him again.

White stands Knight up, CHOPS him, then whips corner to corner hard! Knight slumps down in the corner but White drags him to a cover, TWO! White drags Knight up, puts him in a corner then puts him up top. White CHOPS Knight, climbs up, but Knight fires body shots! Collision returns to single picture as White hops down. Knight throws hands, then adjusts position. But White CHOPS Knight down! Knight falls to the apron, tries to hold on, but then slumps down to the floor. Milwaukee is fired up again as White storms out after Knight. White puts Knight in the ring, covers, TWO! White keeps Knight down with a REAR BEARHUG!

The fans rally as Knight fights up and fires body shots. White CHOPS again! Knight drops to a knee, but he shakes his head. Knight stands, but White CHOPS again! Knight again drops to his knees, the fans fire up, and Knight rises! Knight ducks a chop to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP! Knight ROCKS White, whips him, but White reverses to CHOP! White runs, but into a DROPKICK! Both men are down and the fans fire back up! White and Knight stir, and Knight roars as he rises up! Knight ROCKS White, counter punches, then fires a flurry! White knees low, whips Knight to the corner, but Knight comes back to CLOBBER White!

Knight LARIATS White, whips him, but White reverses. Knight goes up and over, then scoops to SLAM! The fans fire up and Knight UFO SPLASHES! Cover, TWO! White survives and Knight is a bit surprised, but he fireman’s carries. White fights free to CHOP! White whips, Knight leaps over the lariat, then SUPERKICKS! White ends up in a corner, Knight runs in, but White puts him on the apron! Knight ROCKS White first, then springboards, but into the clinch! URE- NO, Knight arm-drags White into a takedown and cover, TWO!! White escapes and Knight is shocked! White clinches, BLADE- NO, Knight slips around and shoves White to a corner!

Knight runs in, White ELBOWS him, then goes up! UPPER ROOM!! Knight throws White down and gets moving, but White ducks a lariat! COMPLETE SHOT, then the waistlock! Deadlift GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up and White drags Knight up. White clinches for the URENAGE! White says time to end it! Clinch and BLADERUNNER!! Cover, White wins!

Winner: Jay White, by pinfall

Knight pushed White in this one, but he still had to Breathe with the Switchblade! White grabs a mic to say, “Let’s hear it for Kevin Knight!” The fans cheer, and White says, “Just like myself, Kevin went through the NJPW Dojo. And although this year, it won’t be yours in the Owen, there’s always next year. Because I’m pretty sure we’re going to see a lot more of Kevin Knight in AEW.” The fans cheer that! White says that was Knight’s cue to leave but guess Milwaukee thought otherwise. White says, “See you around.” They shake hands, and Knight takes off. When and where will The Jet fly back to AEW?

White says the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will have the best of the best. And just like White does every time, he will show us that he is the MOST elite! Because he needs to win the Owen Hart Cup, because he needs to go on to All In: Texas, because he needs his shot at the AEW World Championship! The fans cheer that, and White says because he is the Last Rock ‘n’ Rolla, the man who singlehandedly sold out Madison Square Garden, King Switch! The Catalyst of Professional Wrestling! This is STILL his era! And at All In, White will show us it is STILL the Switchblade Era! White has issued his mission statement, but will it be mission accomplished by July?

AEW shares a tweet from Athena.

In response Mercedes Mone posting, “Milwaukee, say hello to your C E O,” The Fallen Goddess says, “Maybe I will say hi… TONIGHT!” Could the Forever ROH Women’s Champion be the one to face the TBS Champion tonight? We’ll have to see, after the break!

Mercedes Mone VS Robyn Renegade!

#FourBeltsMone held onto the TBS Championship after getting quite the fight from Billie Starkz. But her AEW Dynasty dance card is still open. Will Mone win herself a night off? Or will this Renegade make Mone work for her money?

The bell rings and Mone circles with Robyn. They tie up, go around, and Mone headlocks. Robyn powers out but Mone runs her over! Milwaukee is tourn, but things speed up. Mone steps on Robyn’s dropdown, then does her dance. Robyn runs up, Mone gets around to waistlock, but Robyn switches. They go to ropes, Mone bucks the O’Conner, but Robyn comes back with a sunset flip! TWO, and Robyn SHOTGUNS Mone down! Robyn does her own version of Mone’s dance, then drags Mone up. Robyn survives again but Mone is right on her! Goery Especial for the MONEY MAKER! And then STATEMENT MAKER! Robyn TAPS, Mone wins!

Winner: Mercedes Mone, by submission

The CEO smiles as she puts this Renegade down and grabs up all her belts. Tony Schiavone joins Mone in the ring and congratulates her on another win. It seems like that the Money Train is running hotter than ever. But he understands she had something she wants to say, so the floor is hers. Mone says that’s right. The fans boo, Mone frowns, and she takes the mic from Schiavone. “I am the greatest TBS Champion of all time! And I came to AEW to win more gold. So I’m officially declaring myself in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! That’s right! I’m planning on winning the Owen Cup.

“And then, the Money Train is gonna make her way to Texas to All In! And then, I’m going to become the AEW Women’s World Champion!” Fans are torn again but Schiavone says that tournament will have a lot of competition, including Billie Starkz, who- Mone stops Schiavone there. She doesn’t wanna hear about that stupid kid! Billie has a lot of heart, but not as much heart as Robyn! Give it up for Robyn! Way more heart than that stupid Billie. Who even trained Billie? They suck! You’re looking at the greatest women’s wrestler of all time! WAIT! Athena really IS here! The fans cheer as THE ROH Women’s World Champion is on AEW!

Athena goes to the ring, and she holds up her spinner belt while looking at Mone’s collection. The fans are all behind Athena and that annoys Mone. Mone puts her belts aside, to take a swing on Athena! Athena dodges and DECKS Mone! The fans cheer, Athena goes to the corner, and Robyn helps Mone up. Mone gets away, O-FACE for Robyn! Well, not the target Athena wanted, but Athena does look at Mone’s TBS Championship. Athena shouts, “This is MY show now!” Will Athena’s Forever Reign be the one to add more gold? Or has she just put herself on Mone’s gold colleting radar?

Backstage interview with Queen Aminata.

Lexy Nair is with the One True African Queen, and it would seem there is unfortunate news. Aminata’s hand is wrapped up, she is unable to compete tonight. Taking her place in tonight’s main event is Billie Starkz. Given all this, how does- Serena Deeb walks in. Deeb smirks and says Aminata must know this was preventable, right? Deeb had the game plan, offered it to Aminata, and Aminata didn’t want to listen. Let’s look at history, Aminata. Every time Aminata listened, she won. Every time she didn’t, not only does she lose, she ends up injured. This is all choices. Everything they do is choices. And unfortunately, Aminata made the wrong choice.

Aminata admits, Deeb is right. Everything is about choices. And Aminata still choose not to listen to Deeb’s trash! Not listening to any of that. Okay, Queen, Deeb respects that. But deep down, Aminata knows Deeb is right. And if Aminata thinks there’s a slight chance that she knows that Deeb is right, well, Aminata will have some weeks at home to rest up. Here’s some reading material. Deeb shoves her playbook into Aminata’s hand, will Aminata do her homework?

“Big Bill” Morrissey & Bryan Keith VS Top Flight w/ Leila Grey!

Speaking of learning, The Redwood & Bad Apple want to make The Learning Tree proud, and that means winning some championships to go along with Chris Jericho’s ROH World Title. Will Bill & Keith be one step closer to facing The Hurt Syndicate with tonight? Or will Darius & Dante Martin soar far above the trees to be next in line for gold?

The teams sort out and Bill starts against Darius. The fans rally, but Dante wants in! Darius tags Dante in, and now Keith says he wants in! Bill tags Keith, he and Dante tie up, and they go around. Keith puts Dante on ropes, Dante turns things around, but Dante lets off as the ref counts. The two go again, Keith arm-drags hard and has the armlock. Dante rolls and arm-drags free, then he DROPKICKS Keith down! The fans fire up, Dante A-LIST LARIATS! Tag to Darius, he snap suplexes Keith and tag sin Dante. Slingshot SENTON! The fans cheer, Dante brings Keith up but Keith shoves free!

Bill CLUBS Darius down, then puts him in a corner. Bill CHOPS Darius, Darius sputters and the fans fire up. Bill stands Darius up, Darius fires more body shots, but Bill CHOPS again! Bill brings Darius over, tags in Keith, but Darius fires forearms and elbows!

Darius ROCKS Bill, goes up to BOOT, then TORNADO- NO, Bill puts Darius on the apron! Darius ROCKS Bill, but Keith BOOTS Darius! Keith goes out after Darius to CHOP him, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Keith stands Darius up, CLAWS his eyes, and then CHOPS him again! Darius staggers away, Keith storms after him, and then Keith puts Darius in the ring. Keith pushes Darius to a cover, TWO! Keith argues with the ref but the count is the count. Keith drops a knee on Darius’ face, then covers, TWO! Keith is getting annoyed, but he tells Dante to pipe down. Darius fires body shots and forearms, but Keith ROUNDHOUSES him down again. Keith brings Darius up to whip, but then sends him back the other way for an ELBOW! Bill applauds but he might be the only one. Keith steps on Darius’ face, then has a cocky cover, TWO!

Keith references Jericho but that doesn’t finish it, so Keith clamps on a CAMEL CLUTCH! Darius endures, even as Keith CLAWS his face! The ref reprimands, Keith stops, and Darius fights up. Darius pries at the hold, but Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Bill BODY BLOWS Darius down! The fans are torn as Bill stalks Darius. Bill drags Darius back by a leg but the fans continue to rally for Top Flight. Keith runs in around the way, but Dante SUPERKICKS Keith first! Darius lunges forward, hot tag to Dante! The fans fire up as Dante springboards, but Bill gets under. Dante comes back, but Bill LARIATS him down! Bill grins and soaks up cheers and jeers. Bill runs in at Dante to SPLASH! Then he runs at Darius to SPLASH! Back to Dante for a BOOT! Darius dodges the lariat, but not the BOSS MAN SLAM! The fans are torn as Bill talks trash on Bobby Lashley!

Bill soaks up the cheers and jeers while Keith has Dante in the corner. Bill runs up, but Dante slips free! The SPLASH takes out Keith! Dante HURDLES Bill!? But no Darius, so Dante realizes he’s cornered. Bill storms up, Dante BOOTS him away, and Darius returns! Tag to Darius, and Dante runs up. Bill scoops, Dante slips free, and Dante BLASTS Keith while Darius HOTSHOTS Bill! Dante ENZIGIRIS, Darius GAMANGIRIS, and Dante SUPERKICKS! Bill staggers into the step-in COMPLETE SHOT! The fans fire up while Bill bails out, and Keith runs up! Darius gives Dante the alley-oop, then Dante helps Darius TORNADO DDT Keith!

Dante DIVES and takes out Bill! Darius scoops Keith, SHELL SHOCKE! Cover, TWO!! Keith survives, but Darius tags Dante! Dante goes up, but Bill anchors Dante! Darius WRECKS Bill with a dropkick! But Bill grabs Darius! Bill RAMS Darius into barriers! But Dante SUPER CANNONBALLS Bill! The fans are thunderous, Dante MAMBA SPLASHES, but onto knees! Keith RAMS Dante into a corner, clinches, and hits the EXPLODER! Tag to Bill, and Keith says get ’em! Bill SPLASHES Dante, then feeds him to Keith’s KNEE! Keith KNEES Darius off the apron! Bill hoists Dante up, SKYSCRAPER CHOKE SLAM! Cover, Bill & Keith win!

Winners: “Big Bill” Morrissey & Bryan Keith, by pinfall

If that teamwork and victory doesn’t say they’re ready, that look on Bill’s face sure does. Will the Learning Tree do this to the Hurt Syndicate? Or will Lashley & Shelton just hurt people?

Wait, The Cru slithers in! They have the chain necklaces ready like last week! Leila spots them, but it’s AR FOX that jumps in! Fox stands with Top Flight and The Cru backs off. Action says that’s fine, they’ll let it go this time. But will The Sight to See & The Man of the Hour ground Top Flight one way or another?

Backstage interview with Jamie Hayter.

Lexy Nair is with the Southampton Hayter and welcomes her back. Last time we saw her, she was victorious over Julia Hart, and now she’s in the main event of Collision. How does it feel to be back again? Hayter says it feels great. And if you know Hayter, you know she doesn’t like doing things by half measures. So being in the main event is just another Saturday night for her. But she will say she is very excited to be in the ring with a young whippersnapper like Billie Starkz. It really injects some energy into Hayter, it lights that fire. And Billie has a lot of fire herself, and Hayter likes that. Billie gets knocked down but she gets back up.

And Hayter while respects that about Billie, she doesn’t want Billie to confuse respect for mercy. If Billie steps to Hayter, Hayter will hit back and knock her on her ass. There’s no hesitation, no second chances. So if Hayter were Billie, she’d be smart. Or, find out the hard way. Your choice. Oh, and one more thing. Hayter noticed some girls are already putting in for the Owen Hart Tournament, so Hayter will do that, too. And it is very fitting that she returned at All In last year, because this year, she leaves All In the champion! Hayter is ready, how hard will she hit Billie on this Collision?

Adam Cole is here!

The Undisputed Kingdom follows him out, complete with “BOOM!” and “ADAM COLE BAYBAY!” as the Panama City Playboy prepares for his NO TIME LIMIT AEW TNT Championship match at Dynasty. As such, here comes the champion, Daniel Garcia! Daddy Magic has Garcia’s back as he goes to the ring, and the fans cheer for all parties involved. Cole has the mic and wants Garcia to listen. Cole knows tensions are high, but he’ll make this crystal clear: Cole has all the respect in the world for Garcia. The past two matches they’ve had are two of the toughest matches Cole’s had in his AEW career.

When they saw Garcia is the future of AEW, Cole means that in his soul, and the fans sure believe that. That is because Garcia is a fighting champion. When Cole challenged Garcia for the TNT Championship, Cole could not get the job done. But neither did Garcia. And so as a fighting champion, that must make Garcia sick to his stomach. He must not be able to sleep at night knowing he didn’t and couldn’t put Cole away. And unless Garcia is a coward, he’d want to change that. Cole sure wants to change that. Cole doesn’t want things to end in a draw. This needs to end with one man proving that he is better than the other, and dammit, that man is Cole!

Cole knows, Garcia knows, the entire world knows, that Garcia and Cole need to finish this fight. The fans cheer, Garcia nods, and he tells Cole he appreciates the kind words. Garcia agrees with a lot of that. They’ve been in the ring almost two months straight. And as much fun as it has been testing his iron against one of the best, truly, Garcia is getting a little bit frustrated. It is eating Garcia alive that he couldn’t beat Cole. Matt Menard tells Garcia that he is THE TNT Champion. How many chances is Cole gonna get? Garcia doesn’t need to be talked into this. It is Cole’s job to defeat Garcia, and Cole couldn’t do it!

Menard says Garcia doesn’t have to go through with this. Garcia pats Menard on the shoulder and says yeah, he doesn’t have to do this. But he wants to! So then, they will run it back one last time, BAYBAY! Roddy shouts, “DANNYYY~! Hey, listen. I have all the respect in the world for you. And just like Adam said, you are the future. And I’m not just saying this because he’s my best friend, but he is one of the best pro-wrestlers on the planet. And as good as you are, you’re just not there yet, dude.” Menard says, “Not there yet?” Menard and Roddy argue, Kyle joins in, but Garcia tells them all that this is enough!

Enough noise, enough distractions! April 6th, Kyle won’t be out there, Roddy won’t be out there, and Menard won’t be out there. Menard is a bit taken aback, but Garcia says at Dynasty, there will be no one ringside, there will be no time limit, and it will be Cole VS Garcia for the TNT Championship, ONE LAST TIME, and there WILL be a winner, cuz you’re looking right at him! Garcia holds up the title, but will he still own that title when it’s all said and done? Or is Dynasty going to be Undisputed?

Athena & Billie Starkz regroup backstage.

The Fallen Goddess says, “Mercedes~! HAHA~! Is that it?” Billie says yeah, just about. Athena says that is so annoying. But what’s the expression? Poke a bear, it might bite you? Well here’s one better. Mercedes, if you’re gonna be a passive aggressive b*tch, you’re gonna get hit. How did you like the taste of the floor? Was it good for Mercedes? Cuz it was great for Athena. So use this as a learning lesson: Keep Athena’s name, and her Minion’s name, out of your damn mouth. But hey! Mone is in the business of collecting championships? OMG, she’s such an inspiration, Athena is gonna do the same thing.

So how about this? Let’s get to real business, not that Mone knows what that is. Athena declares to her Minions and to the AEW fans around the world. Your Forever ROH Champion, Fallen Goddess, American Joshi, Minion Overlord, and all those other things, is OFFICIALLY ENTERING the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! That’s great, right? And Billie! Billie made this all come together, what a brilliant little schemer she’s becoming. Billie has her match tonight! The main event! Look at her! And against a former AEW Women’s World Champion, Jamie Hayter. Is she ready? Yeah, she’s ready! She’ll make Athena proud!

Athena is sure Billie will find a way to disappoint, but tonight, Athena will be watching very closely. Good luck. Billie gives a salute, and it seems no matter if it’s ROH or AEW, Athena keeps Billie under her thumb. Will the inaugural and former ROH Women’s World TV Champion prove she’s ready for the big time?

Dax Harwood VS Wheeler Yuta!

Rated FTR made the challenge for the AEW World Trios Championships, The Death Riders made the challenge for Rated FTR to survive. And while Claudio wants Cope’s head on Dynamite, this Collision will kick things off! Will Dax the Ax chop down the youngest member of Moxley’s crew? Or will The Decoder already figure Dax out?

The bell rings, the two circle, and the fans rally up. They tie up, break, then go again. They break again, fans chant “YUTA SUCKS!” and Dax smirks. Dax and Yuta circle, tie up, and Dax spins Yuta to wrench an arm. Yuta rolls, switches the wrench and has the wristlock. Dax rolls, spins, and he wrenches to then slip through and headlock fort the takeover! Dax pushes Yuta down to a cover, ONE, but Dax holds onto the headlock. Yuta stands on Dax’s arm to dig it into the crossbar! The ref reprimands, then counts, but Yuta stops at 4, and he reminds the ref, “I have ’til FIVE!” The fans are torn as Yuta copies Danielson, then he drags Dax up to the very top. SUPER DUPER PLEX! Both men are down and Milwaukee fires up as Collision goes picture in picture.

A standing count starts, but Yuta crawls over to Dax at 4 of 10. Cover, TWO! Yuta is annoyed but he drags Dax into a top wristlock. Yuta stands on the arm, then STOMPS it! Dax scrambles away to the corner, but Yuta goes out to grab the bad arm! Yuta SLAMS the arm into the POST! Dax scrambles away again, but Yuta stalks him. Dax CHOPS Yuta, but Yuta takes the bad arm! Yuta SLAMS the arm off the steps, then he flexes while soaking up cheers and jeers. Dax goes into the ring, Yuta goes up top, and Yuta MISSILE DROPKICKS! Yuta kips up, grins, and then takes a bow. Yuta STOMPS the bad arm again, and Dax goes to another corner.

Yuta storms up to CLUB Dax, then he wraps the bad arm around the ropes! The ref counts, Yuta stops at 4, and then he wrenches Dax into a snapmare. Yuta drops a knee on the elbow! Then Yuta clamps on a cording hold, only for Dax to fight up. Yuta wrenches, but Dax ROCKS him! Dax CHOPS Yuta, then JABS, JABS, JABS, before he DECKS Yuta! Yuta gets up but Dax DECKS him again! Dax LARIATS Yuta up and out, then hurries after him. Dax counter punches Yuta, runs up, but Yuta dodges! Dax runs into the POST! Yuta hurries to THROW Dax over the barriers! The ref reprimands Yuta while Collision returns to single picture.

Yuta returns to the ring, soaks up the heat, then goes back outside. Dax rises, Yuta ROCKS him! Dax CHOPS, Yuta ROCKS, then Dax ROCKS Yuta again and again! Dax DECKS Yuta, then hops up an dover the barrier. Dax reels Yuta in, but Yuta fights the driver! The bad arm also holds Dax back, and then Yuta BACKDROPS free! Yuta hears the ring count, and he puts Dax in at 6 of 10. Yuta storms in, but Dax has his leg! DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! Yuta hobbles, Dax grabs the leg for a DRAGON SCREW! Dax drags Yuta to a corner, and now for some payback! Dax SLAMS Yuta’s leg into the POST! Yuta writhes, but Dax grabs the legs again!

Dax shouts out The Hitman with the HANGING FIGURE FOUR! Yuta shouts in pain, the ref reprimands and counts, but Dax lets go at 4. Dax storms in, Yuta wants mercy, but Dax just grabs the leg again. Dax steps through but Yuta BOOTS him into the POST! Yuta hobbles his way over as Dax goes to the apron. Yuta climbs up top, but Dax CLUBS a leg! Yuta sits on the corner, and Dax climbs up! Yuta drags Dax around, chicken wings the arms again, CATTLE- NO, Dax slips free! Dax bobs ‘n’ weaves to DECK Yuta! Yuta rewinds, gets around Dax, GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! But back to the chicken wings! CATTLE MUTILATION! Dax pushes up with his legs, kicks around, and he manages to turn over! Dax fights up to REAR HEADBUTT! Dax trips Yuta, ties up the legs, SHARPSHOOTER! Yuta endures while the fans fire up!

Yuta scrambles around and finds the ROPEBREAK! Dax holds until 4, and then shakes out the bad arm. Yuta talks with the ref, Dax runs up, and Dax HIP TOSSES, but Yuta uses that to arm-drag and SEATBELT!! YUTA WINS!

Winner: Wheeler Yuta, by pinfall

Dax can’t believe it, but he just got suckered in! Yuta celebrates like he’s already won the title match, and Claudio is there to pat Yuta on the back. Will the Death Riders keep scoring as Claudio takes on Cope? Or can Rated FTR even things up before Dynasty? Dax argues with the ref, the ref says his decision stands. His count was the count, there’s nothing to it. But then Dax gets in the ref’s face?!? Security rushes in there, but Dax fights them!? They hold Dax down, but Cash YANKS them all off him! But then Dax SHOVES Cash?! Dax realizes what he did and he apologizes. Cash is stunned, but just what is going on with Dax’s emotional state?

Dax offers a hand, Cash slaps it away to get in Dax’s face! Dax says he’s sorry, it was a mistake, but then Cash storms off. Well, guess you can’t spell frustration without F T R. Will they be able to sort this out before arriving in Philadelphia?

Backstage interview with The Patriarchy.

Alicia Atout is with Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne & Mother Shayna, and notes that just like last week, they’re here without any sign of Christian Cage. Just what is going on with The Patriarchy? But before anyone can speak up, The Cru barges in. Lio Rush asks Nick, “What’s up with your boy, Fox, man?” Nick says, “Huh?” Lio repeats himself, what’s up with his boy? Uh, his boy? Fox is far from Nick’s boy. Really? They know they’re history together. Didn’t Fox try to end Nick’s career? So Nick is just gonna chill back here while Fox is out there still breathing? Nick says okay, he gets what they’re up to here. Oh, really? And what’s that?

What The Cru is really doing is asking Nick for help, simply because they can’t get the job done. Oh, is that so? Nick doesn’t blame them for asking him. But Nick’s done with Fox, that is well in the past. Well Nick’s past is creeping up on their present, so for them, that’s an issue. Oh, is that really an issue? Kip has Nick calm down. These “gentlemen” surely didn’t come and interrupt them without a reason, so The Patriarchy should hear them out. AKA, get to the point. Lio says this is all they’re saying. Three of them, two of The Cru. But when the time is right, nobody knows Fox better than Nick Wayne. Just think on it.

The Cru heads out, but will The Patriarchy’s Prodigy take them up on the offer to team up?

Holo.grm VS Blake Christian w/ Lee Johnson!

The futuristic luchador’s undefeated streak continues, even as he joins Komander as a Titan of the Air. But while Hologram & Komander have settled things with La Faccion Ingobernable, this battle is about the Revolution Zero Hour last month. Will the Vanilla Babyface avenge that loss? Or will he just be number 22 on Hologram’s win streak?

Blake drags Hologram up onto the barriers?! But Hologram fires body shots! And he RANAS Blake to the floor! Blake narrowly avoids hitting the steel steps and the fans fire up!

Hologram high-fives the front row, then stalks after Blake. Hologram goes up the steel steps, Lee storms up but Hologram mule kicks him! Blake jumps up to SPANISH FLY to the floor! Blake puts Hologram in, then springboards for a 450 SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Hologram survives and Blake is frustrated! Blake slaps Hologram around, eggs him on, and then puts some stank on the- HEEL KICK from Hologram! Hologram fires up, he blocks Blake’s kick, but Blake SUPERKICKS from the other side! Vanilla Babyface was spicy, but Hologram comes out hotter! Will this 22-0 streak show Hologram is ready for a golden opportunity?

Backstage interview with Thunder Rosa & Kris Statlander.

Lexy is now with La Mera Mera & The Galaxy’s Greatest as she says we can officially announce they are also entering the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! Kris says that last year, she was a completely different person in a much different place. But she still had the same goals as she does today. “To every woman in this tournament, and to every woman in the locker room, you can’t stop Stat!” Rosa says, “Unless you face me.” Much respect to Kris, but like Rosa told Toni Storm, Rosa never lost the AEW Women’s World Championship, and she’s yet to wear one since. So believe her when she says this: She will scratch and claw harder than ever to have the Cup above her head.

Kris says, “Unless you face me.” Rosa says okay, mamacita. See you in the Owen. They each wish the other luck, and then head out. Will La Mera Mera & The Galaxy’s Greatest battle to prove who is TRULY the best of the best?

Jamie Hayter VS Billie Starkz!

Hayter was preparing for Aminata, but it would seem Aminata’s loss to Hart has also lost her some time in the ring. But Billie is ready to step up to prove herself worthy of AEW’s bright lights! Will this be the start of Starkz’s legacy? Or will Hayter Hit Hard enough to be the number one seed in the Owen Hart Cup?

The bell rings and Billie circles with Hayter. Milwaukee cheers on Billie and Hayter encourages it. The two then tie up, and Hayter powers Billie to a corner. The ref counts, Hayter lets off with a pat on the shoulder, and Billie frowns. The two reset, tie up again, and Hayter again powers Billie to a corner. The ref counts again, and Hayter lets off with another pat on the shoulder. Billie frowns again, but the fans duel, “Let’s Go, Jamie!” “Billie Starkz!” They tie up, Hayter headlocks, and she grinds Billie down. Billie powers up and out, but Hayter runs Billie over! Things keep moving and Hayter runs Billie over again!

Hayter flexes, the fans are torn, but Billie is right up to stare Hayter down. The fans cheer, but Hayter pie faces Billie! Billie ROCKS Hayter! Hayter stalks Billie, stomps her down, then stands on her! Billie endures until Hayter steps off, and then Hayter puts Billie on the ropes. Hayter CHOKES Billie, the ref counts, and Hayter steps off at 4. Hayter “apologizes” before she stalks Billie. Hayter drags Billie up, DDTS her by the ropes, then puts her back on the ropes. Hayter KNEE DROPS on Billie’s back, then KNEE DROPS again! And again! The ref reprimands but Hayter backs off. Hayter fires up the fans, then she goes back to kneel on Billie’s neck! The ref reprimands and counts, that’s not a cover! Hayter backs off, “apologizes” again, then has Billie in a corner.

Hayter smacks Billie off buckles, then runs her corner to corner to smack her off more buckles! Then Hayter goes to a third corner for buckle bumps! Hayter says let’s finish the set, and she runs Billie corner to corner for a buckle bump! Billie falls back, Hayter dusts her hands off, and then brings Billie up. But Billie WRINGS Hayter’s arm! And she SUPERKICKS Hayter down! Hayter staggers up, ducks the heel kick, and she shoves Billie for a SPINEBUSTER! Hayter then turns Billie over, HALF CRAB! Billie endures, reaches out for ropes, but Hayter sits deep on the hold! Billie reaches out, grits her teeth, and Collision returns to single picture.

Hayter tells Billie to just give up, but Billie refuses! The fans rally harder, and Billie powers up! Billie claws and crawls, to the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, and Hayter lets go in frustration. Billie tries again, but Hayter blocks it to a cording hold! Hayter brings Billie along as she goes to the ropes, SPRINGBOARD HAYTERADE!!! Cover, HAYTER WINS!

Winner: Jamie Hayter, by pinfall

Now that was a Collision! Hayter is back, and she finds a new way to hit hard! Athena walks out on stage, and she waves hi to Hayter. Whether Billie impressed her or disappointed her, Athena now has her eyes on Hayter and everyone else in the Owen Hart Cup. Will the Fallen Goddess learn for herself that Hayter Hits Hard? Or will the Owen Hart Cup join the Athena World Domination Tour soon enough?

My Thoughts:

A very good Collision, talky as usual, but very good build towards Dynasty and the Owen Hart Cup simultaneously. Great opening promo from Toni, because she’s always great at promos, but they did a great job framing Ford’s blindside attack on Toni. And while Toni takes down Ford, Megan of course gets the last say on Toni. Toni is the underdog champion, knows she is, but knows she won’t let that stop her, and surely she comes out on top at Dynasty. Good promo from The Death Riders to hype up Dynamite. Claudio was very clever in using “Edge” and “Cope” in his part, and he will have a great match against Cope, but I would think Cope wins.

Marina had a great part calling out Willow, and that Mixed Tornado Tag will be awesome stuff. Dax VS Yuta was great, too, and real good win for Yuta. Dax losing his cool further waters the seed that is an FTR Heel Turn, but if this keeps up between Dax and Cash, could we end up with FTR VS FTR? That’d be rather wild, but it’d also make sense since FTR at some point said they were drawing closer to the end of their careers. A tag team like them, that has already done so much, having a 1v1 against each other is kinda the last thing to check off their bucket lists.

Great tag match from Bill & Keith VS Top Flight, one of the best Top Flight’s had in a minute since they’ve been going back and forth between AEW and ROH, but I figured Bill & Keith would win. They want their shot at The Hurt Syndicate, this gets them a step closer to that, and Top Flight still has The Cru after them anyway. I’m just not sure The Cru asking Nick Wayne to help out against Top Flight & AR Fox is the kind of story continuity they should be using right about now… Nick’s busy with this story against Christian Cage, he should focus on that. Unless the point is, if Patriarchy falls apart, Nick needs somewhere to go and someone to hand out with. But then The Cru is just three- Gasp! Cru-serweights…!

Great promo segment from Cole, Garcia and their friends, but uh, the announcement came in right as this segment started, so for us at home, it completely undercut how Garcia and Cole were building to making the No Time Limit title match. This is all still the right move, and Garcia telling Menard to stay away from ringside was a wild twist. Cole VS Garcia could be a borderline show stealer given how great their 20 minute draw was last time. And I still think that Cole should win the title, just so he finally has something in AEW aside from the tag title run alongside MJF. As for Garcia, losing the TNT title could be his opportunity to move on to another title, like the International or Continental Championship.

Hologram VS Blake was a rather random match to put on, but whatever, still great stuff. I wonder who finally pins/submits Hologram to end his win streak. It’d have to be someone that fans already have strong feelings for, good or bad. Like, Ospreay could get away being the guy that beats Hologram because it’s Ospreay. At the same time, MJF or Jericho could beat Hologram because not only do they have the power level, but fans love to hate them anyway so they’d love to hate MJF or Jericho as the guy who ended the streak.

And great stuff with the Women’s Owen Hart Cup, but also a build between Mercedes Mone and Athena. Mone of course beat Robyn Renegade, but she of course also had to talk trash on Billie & Athena. Athena finally being on AEW TV is great in itself, and she had a good promo with Billie to touch on the love-hate relationship between Minion Overlord and Minion 400,237 & 3/4ths that we’ve seen the past two years on ROH. Aminata going down with injury is a shame, and her promo with Deeb could’ve been a bit sharper on both ends. But Deeb naturally puts it on Aminata that Aminata needs to either join her or wrestle her, and I’m thinking we get the latter.

Good promo from Rosa and Statlander to not only add them to the Owen Hart Cup but to tease their match-up. Hayter VS Billie was a great main event, and it was another great showing for Billie in the loss. Athena confronting Hayter was also good stuff, and both Owen Hart Cups are looking to be the most star-studded ones yet. But as it stands, I’m thinking Rosa wins to get that world title match she has yet to get, and then we get Mone VS Athena for the TBS Championship, as teased tonight. All In: Texas will basically give both Rosa and Athena homefield advantage, and it’d be pretty wild if both of them won titles then.

My Score: 8.8/10
