It’s classic storytelling with a modern day twist when Randy Orton and AJ Styles battle for blue brand supremacy at WWE WrestleMania 35!

Two of the world’s best technical wrestlers will go head to head on Sunday in what is sure to be an instant classic that will stand out on the stacked card.  Randy Orton and AJ Styles battling it out on the WrestleMania 35 stage is a dream match that fans can and will appreciate by the time the pinfall is counted.

Looking at the careers of both men, the similarities are there.  Yes, their paths were enormously different, but their come up speaks volumes of the men that they are today.  Both men were young guns in the early 2000s trying to make a name for themselves in the two top wrestling promotions at that time.  They had one goal – build an everlasting legacy. Orton and Styles have certainly created Hall of Fame worthy careers over the last fifteen plus years.  With an astounding twenty two World Championships (major promotions) under their belts, that fact alone should tell fans what to expect at WrestleMania 35 between the Viper and the Phenomenal One.

For the two to meet on a big stage in a secondary feud, it feels important and it feels right.  The build to this matchup has been nothing short of fantastic.  The play on their parallel spectrum is genius, because most fans have followed both men in their careers.  The common theme of their careers in addition to who really built Smackdown Live has been something fans are invested in.  The shade thrown in the edgy promos have fans salivating for more.   It would almost be an injustice if this feud between Orton and Styles ends in New Jersey.

The fact that this match is one to watch – with the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, and the main-event of the Women’s Championship all have enormous stories behind them – the pressure to deliver is even bigger.  Not that Orton and Styles will have any problems to do so, however it would be easy for this match to get lost in the card had it not been for the strong build and amplified momentum behind it.  All the ingredients to create a memorable feud are there, and have been spot on.

Fans have already gotten a small taste of what Orton and Styles can do two years ago when the two met in an impromptu match on Smackdown.  But this time the stakes are different.  Legacies are put to the test with one man reigning supreme with the bragging rights.  Or perhaps it opens up the door for a legendary feud.

The shots have been fired and now it’s time to put up or shut up.  The WWE Universe is in for a treat with this match between Orton and Styles.  Whether its an RKO or a Styles Clash, one man’s strength is another’s weakness.  Meaning, Orton has one major move while Styles has a plethora of moves to take his opponent out.  But Orton is known for staking out his prey, while Styles can pull a win from within.

This match, the build up to the tale of the tape is the perfect scenario.  It’s a classic villain versus hero matchup.  Regardless of the outcome, pro wrestling fans win in the end.
