In the wake of HBO’s decision to pull “Gone with the Wind,” the Bandwagon welcomes Christopher Platt onto the show and takes a deep dive into the troubling past of American Cinema. The guys examine the motivations behind HBO’s decision and look at past art’s place in today’s world.

Sony finally revealed the first images of it’s PS5 system along with a slew of trailers. The guys continue their review of The Boys with a breakdown of Episode 3. In a follow up to last week’s interview, Dave shares some information about the upcoming Virtual Gaming Con presented by Board Game Geek. Christmas Week is here and the Nerds invite you to the greatest Holiday Party of all-time! In a very special Episode, the Nerds were tasked with a fun endeavor: Plan a Holiday Party featuring characters from the vastness of the Nerdosphere and then, once the planning was done, tell their fellow Nerds how the party unfolded. The guys let their imaginations run wild and tell you all about it on this Episode. Who had too much Holiday Nog? Who brought the best gifts? Who brought the worst? What band or DJ was hired to entertain the guests? It is a Holiday celebration like no other here on BWN. Plus, the teaser trailer for James Gunn’s Superman debuted this week and was watched by, well, a lot of people. The guys have many thoughts about their first look into the first movie of the new DCU. With no show to review (for the time being), the guys take an extended trip to the Trailer Park to look at the latest trailers including a rare, authorized, documentary about the legendary Led Zeppelin, plus Looney Tunes The Day the Earth Blew Up, Novocaine, Going Dutch, and Season 5 of Harley Quinn. News Around the Nerdosphere has lots of casting news including Chris Evans and Haley Atwell returning to the MCU and an interesting casting choice for The Mandalorian & Grogu leads to an in-depth conversation about Star Wars and whether the brand has been damaged beyond repair. WB-Discovery makes more curious choices, Sony finally throws in the towel on their ill-fated Spier-Verse, and the Golden Globes make some very head scratching nominations.
