Drew McIntyre heads to the ring!

Ahead of facing The Viper once again for the WWE World Championship, the Scottish Stud is here with something to say. “Welcome everyone, to Monday Night Raw!” And Sunday is WWE Survivor Series. Since its inception, Survivor Series has been an American Thanksgiving tradition. And since McIntyre’s been in America for a third of his life, he’s come to love Thanksgiving! What’s not to love? There’s the food, the people you care about and sharing what you’re grateful for.

And as McIntyre has grown up his adult life in front of the fans, they’re people he cares about so he’ll share what he’s thankful for: family and friends he can lean on, to fans who support him, and to the WWE ThunderDome bringing us all closer together. In fact, McIntyre asks us if we’re ready to see him Claymore Orton’s head off and get the title back! McIntyre is also thankful for the doubters, the ones that laugh and talk trash. McIntyre says you have to believe in yourself, work harder and prove them all wrong, and then throw it up and tell them to read between the lines!

And speaking of doubters, McIntyre reminds us of his visit on Friday to “the head of the table.” McIntyre was doing Roman Reigns a favor saying not to worry about Orton but to worry about McIntyre instead. Roman didn’t care about Orton or about McIntyre. Roman doesn’t care about anyone but himself. “Roman Reigns has put himself on a pedestal so high above everyone else, the rest of us look like ants right now. He’s also got his head shoved right up his ass!” McIntyre vows to win tonight, go to Survivor Series Sunday, and Claymore Roman down to Earth and humble him! But McIntyre would be a fool if he overlooked-

Speaking of, Orton is talking back on the titantron! Orton hears McIntyre talking about what he’s thankful for, so Orton will chime in. Orton is thankful for, right off the top, being a 14 time WWE World Champion. But he is also thankful that the fine handed to him by the WWE for grabbing Adam Pearce didn’t faze Orton. Why didn’t it? Because for 20 years, Orton has been fined more than any WWE superstar ever! And suspended more than any superstar under contract, sitting on his butt at home longer than 80% of the WWE locker room has been in the ring! And you want to know why Orton is still here? Orton says with all the fines, the suspensions and broken rules, Orton is still here because he IS the greatest wrestler ever! And Orton will prove it again, just like at Hell in a Cell, when he walks out still WWE World Champion.

McIntyre says Orton forgot one thing. He forgot the three most dangerous letters, R K O. They’ve done this so long, McIntyre can finish Orton’s sentences. But this time, McIntyre won’t fall off the cell! This time, McIntyre’s foot will crash through Orton’s head and McIntyre will once again be WWE Champion!! But just as McIntyre drops the mic and leaves the ring, The Miz and John Morrison strut out with the Money in the Bank Briefcase. “Hey, John, do you happen to know what the date is today?” Yes, November 16th. What does that mean? That there is a NEW episode of Miz and Mrs. after Raw! And? Well there’s nothing in it about HIAC because that was the past.

And why is that important? Because the future is way more interesting! And the future is them because Miz is Mr. MITB! And that means nothing can stop them from cashing in a favor and having front row seats for tonight. When will these two learn? The last few weeks what McIntyre has done to them will be nothing compared to what he does if they get involved tonight. Miz knows McIntyre is having a hard time dealing with change, and that Orton has a hard time talking about his feelings. But a legend like Orton who has been here so long, he should be able to accept the possibilities of change are endless! The title could change hand, and the hands holding that title by the end of the night will be MIZ’S! McIntyre doesn’t believe?

Hey, John, why did Bray Wyatt stay away last week? Because he’s afraid of Miz and Morrison. And? Well because even Bray can figure out, Miz can change everything by cashing in anywhere, any time! Correct! So unfortunately, the only one who hasn’t come to terms with that is McIntyre. Change is coming, whether he likes it or not. Yes, change is coming. But the difference between Orton and McIntyre, shocking as it is, is that McIntyre is not a patient man. Then doesn’t he realize that is what cost him? But then McIntyre steps to them and they hurry out of the ring. Miz wants McIntyre to understand that McIntyre gave title matches away! He gave Orton THREE chances, but who says he deserved it? Maybe Miz doesn’t deserve a match, but win or lose, he’ll still be laughing all the way to the bank. Does Miz have a point? Or is he showing his hand a little too early in this game?

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax meet Lana at gorilla.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions just found out tonight’s Six Woman Tag was Lana’s idea, and they don’t like that. Lana says that she is still on Team Raw, no matter what they do to her. And no matter how hard Lana tries, they just don’t take her seriously. So after Miz and Morrison had their match alongside Orton, Lana thought she could do the same! This is the way she can prove herself to the others. But unlike Orton, Lana will not refuse to tag in. She is all here for the team. How cute. But while Lana thinks this is about her, it’s not. This is about the tag champs proving they run the entire Women’s Division. So Lana can be here for Team Raw, but she is NOT to tag into the match. Got that?

Six Woman Tag: Asuka, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke VS Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler & Lana!

The Ravishing Russian’s idea might come back to bite her. Will she stay out of the way and let the Irresistible Force and the Queen of Spades handle the Empress of Tomorrow and the #SexyMuscleFriends? Or will she try to take things into her own hands again?

Raw returns as Lana makes her entrance to join Shayna and Nia. Then Asuka makes her entrance, followed by Dana and Mandy. The teams sort out and Lana actually starts, only for Shayna to tag in right away. Dana goes after Shayna with forearms and a shove. Shayna gets around, swings Dana into a backbreaker then KNEES her down! Shayna sucker punches Asuka then drags Dana up. Shayna throws Dana out hard, then laughs as she leaves Lana’s tag hanging. Tag to Nia, Nia drags Dana up and fireman’s carries, but she drops Dana as Mandy runs in. Nia runs Mandy over, drags her up and puts her arm in the steel steps! Shayna STOMPS the arm!! The ref reprimands the tag champs but they don’t care, and Raw goes to break while Mandy writhes on the ground!

Raw returns again and Shayna tortures Dana’s arm now! And she hammerlocks, but Dana rolls Shayna into buckles! Dana crawls, and hot tags Asuka! Asuka dodges and rallies on Shayna with kicks! Asuka whips, Shayna reverses but Asuka hip attacks Nia down! Shayna runs in, Asuka dodges and runs her over! Asuka fires up and runs in at Shayna for a hip attack! And mule kick! And waistlock, but Shayna throws an elbow! Asuka ducks that, Shayna ducks the roundhouse but so does Asuka. Asuka hits a CODE BREAKER! Asuka hits the SLIDING KICK! Cover but Nia breaks it! Dana goes after Nia with a sleeper hold backpack! Nia throws Dana on the apron hard then finally leaves the ring.

Shayna gut wrenches but Asuka fights out to ROUNDHOUSE! Asuka wants her lock but Nia gets up. Asuka BOOTS Nia down, Shayna grabs Asuka! Asuka endures the Kirafuda, Lana tags in! Shayna has Asuka down, she might have this won but she realizes what happened! Lana gets in, SPLIT BOOT! Cover, TWO!! Nia is furious and wants Lana to tag one of them! But this distracts Lana, Asuka ROUNDHOUSES! To the ASUKA LOCK!! Lana taps, Asuka’s team wins!

Winner: Asuka, Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose by submission

Nia is clearing off the desk! Lana doesn’t know what to do and she doesn’t get any help from Asuka and Dana! Shayna throws Lana out to Nia, and Nia says she’s actually proud of the courage Lana showed. Nia offers her a hand, and Lana takes it. Nia says Lana did great and she is a member of Team Raw now. PSYCH! SAMOAN DROP THROUGH THE DESK!! That makes for NINE times total! With Mandy possibly injured and Lana constantly getting body slammed, is Raw’s women’s team in any shape to face SmackDown’s?

Raw’s Men’s Team is arguing backstage!

AJ Styles wants them to stop this, because Survivor Series is Sunday! Now listen! Don’t worry about Jordan Omogbehin, he’s not the giant advantage they have against Team SmackDown. But that’s on paper. The reality is, despite all the great physical gifts, talents and experience, it has been a bumpy road. Their egos get in the way. But Styles is very humble, so he takes responsibility as team captain. He’s not the captain! Yeah, Fire Face is right, the Skipper isn’t the captain! Shut up with the nicknames! Keith Lee actually liked his. Styles tells them to stop fighting over this! It doesn’t matter about the nicknames, or who Brogue kicks who, or who annoys everyone Riddle. Fighting like this means they’re going to lose!

If there’s one thing Styles knows about his team, is that they all hate to lose. So they need to unite. And they are going to have a tune up against something or someone NO ONE likes. And that… is RETRIBUTION! If they follow Styles’ lead, he will make this a team! A winning team! He hands out Raw USA Network shirts, but Keith and Braun aren’t so sure these will fit. Styles asks Jordan if this is going to work. Styles didn’t want to sound all rara but he thought the speech was good. Riddle returns to tells Styles that, so as not to leave anyone out, he could give Jordan a sweet nickname. No, no, no, no more nicknames. Don’t even look at Jordan. Whatever Styles wants, man. Later, Omoss.

Omoss?! Have they been talking behind Styles’ back?! No way he could, Jordan doesn’t even know English. Wait, does he? Of course he does. Oh. Why didn’t he say something to Styles? Styles never asked. Well now he has so many questions! But the real question is: Will facing Retribution really be the key to uniting the team?

Ramblin’ Rabbit and Abby the Witch are up to something.

They have a Miz Funko Pop and a pair of Miz sunglasses! Firefly Fun House is up next, we’ll find out what this is about after the break!

Dana Brooke waits outside the trainer’s room.

Charly Caruso comes by to say she’s sorry to bring this up, but we all saw what Shayna did to Mandy’s arm. How is she doing? Rough shape, really. What Shayna did was out of line. But then RECKONING attacks Dana! Retribution’s lone woman STOMPS Dana into road cases!! If what Shayna did was out of line, what does this count as?!

Raw presents an all new Firefly Fun House!

Bray and Alexa wave hi and say it’s so nice to see us again. But do you know what isn’t so nice? The Miz! Boo! But it’s okay. “All of those Hollywood types are exactly the same: obnoxious, pompous, vapid, willing to sacrifice their own offspring to appease their reptilian overlords, not to mention… Downright rude!” But Bray doesn’t fear Miz. He wants to help Miz with his issues. Bray offers Miz a special lesson in manners, in a match tonight! And Miz needs to pay attention. If Bray has to repeat himself, let’s just say Miz doesn’t want to see his bad side. Now, this might be short notice, but Bray has all his friends here to prepare! That’s what friends are for!

Training montage! Agility! Bray blindfolds himself and focuses his senses. He bops Mercy and Huskis! Huaaa~!! Spelling…? Bray’s word is, “jackass.” Can you use it in a sentence, please? “Just spell the damn word, you jackass!” “Jackass. M-I-Z!” YAY~! Accuracy! Ramblin’ isn’t so sure about this. Don’t worry, Bray never misses. And he hits Ramblin! How could he?! Bull’s Eye! More like rabbit’s heart! Bray is ready, hopefully Miz is, too! See you soon~!

BREAKING NEWS!

After the injury to Mandy’s arm, and the attack from “Reckoning” on Dana, neither of them will be able to complete on the Raw Women’s Team! Will Raw have to scramble to find replacements before this Sunday?

Raw Tag Team Championships: The New Day VS The Hurt Business!

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods aren’t heading to Survivor Series just yet! They have to retain the titles in order to face SmackDown’s Street Profits! Will Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander change all that by adding more gold to the business’ treasury?

Raw returns as MVP gives us another “official announcement” from the Hurt Business. Sunday will see the best VS the best, and to make it painfully clear, no one is better than them. The All Mighty CEO, the United States Champion, Bobby Lashley, will squeeze the life out of “vermin personified,” Sami Zayn. But first, Benjamin and Alexander will take out the New Day to become the Raw Tag Team Champions, and they will take on “those clowns,” the Street Profits. And we know how that’ll go. MVP knows Alexander and Benjamin will take the titles, add them to Bobby’s title, and then Hurt Business will have a controlling interest of Raw’s gold and put SmackDown out of business.

But the New Day comes out to cut MVP off! “Now, boys. You’ve got to take the bass out your voice, because right now you’re using your outside voices.” Bring it down before the New Day throw them out. Montel Vontavius Porter, everything you said was a lie! But the one ounce of truth in that was when MVP said it will be the best VS the best! Everything else was a lie. Because the best VS the best doesn’t mean it’ll be Cedric and Shelton, oh~ no~! It’s ya bois, the NEW~ DAY~! Does the Hurt Business ever really listen to themselves? Them saying all these terrible lies, you sound like a bunch of jerks! Then do something about it. Wait, Kofi needs the punchline! The Hurt Business is more like “The Jerk Business!” Bunch o’ jerks! Wait that was the punchline? Well, in Kofi’s defense, people would be laughing if they could be here live.

But Woods says they can’t allow jerks to represent Raw as the W, W, E, World, Tag, Team, CHAMPIONS~! But if not them, then who? Who who who? Ya bois, the NEW~ DAY~! And do you know whyyy~? BECAAAAAAAUSE~! NEW! DAY ROCKS! The Hurt Business are riled up, but will they make the New Day look like the jerks for talking big only to fail? We find out after the break!

Raw returns and the teams sort out. Kofi starts with Alexander but MVP is still giving Alexander pointers. MVP finally steps down, Alexander circles with Kofi and they tie up. Woods elbows but Alexander shoves and dropkicks him down! Cover, TWO!

Alexander keeps his eyes on Kofi as he drags Woods away. Tag to Benjamin, and Benjamin stomps Woods in the ribs. Benjamin keeps Woods from Kofi, puts on a chinlock, but Woods fights up and throws body shots. Woods reaches but Benjamin keeps him away, even as Woods throws haymakers. Woods keeps reaching but Benjamin reels him in, but Woods sunset flips! TOW, Benjamin clubs Woods then scoops him. Woods slips out and enziguris! Both men are down, they crawl for corners, hot tag to Kofi! Kofi springboards and ax handles Benjamin, DECKS Alexander and clobbers Benjamin! Kofi is fired up and the fans are fired up with him!

Kofi keeps moving but Benjamin gets under to kick and whip! Benjamin runs but into a boot! Kofi goes up top, throws forearms to keep Benjamin away, then leaps for the crossbody! Cover, TWO! Sheamus talks with McIntyre backstage again.

Sheamus wants McIntyre to hurry, Sheamus has to get ready for his match. Well so does McIntyre! But Sheamus says that they’ve known each other for years. They know each other’s families, McIntyre’s mum was like a mum to Sheamus. But Sheamus heard about the McIntyre ancestry and he was amazed to find something that was thought to be lost forever. Something that’s dear to McIntyre and that belongs to him. Reveal! A big chest? McIntyre walks up to it, opens it up, and…

McIntyre is emotional seeing the old things again. The kilts and belts. He remembers the stories of the family history. And Sheamus has an ACTUAL claymore sword to present McIntyre! Another thing McIntyre thought he’d never see again. McIntyre thanks Sheamus for this gift. Will this be just the thing for McIntyre to become champion once again?

8 Man Tag: Retribution VS Raw’s Survivor Series Men’s Team!

The Phenomenal but not official captain of Team Raw may have a point: Mustafa Ali and his cohorts haven’t endeared themselves to anyone, let alone their fellow superstars. Will Braun Strowman, Sheamus, (Matt) Riddle and Keith Lee be able to unite themselves once and for all against these common enemies? Or will Retribution find a way to tear this team apart even more?

Raw returns and Ali speaks backstage. “AJ Styles and the rest of Team Raw believe that the members of Retribution are nothing more than mere pawns.” But all it takes is one right move, and even a pawn can dethrone a king. “Reckoning” Mia Yim says she already proved that Retribution is always one step ahead. Later tonight will be no different. Team Raw is everything Retribution despises: Arrogant, selfish, immoral superstars willing to do anything to get ahead. Braun, Keith, Sheamus, Riddle all act like they’re so different, but they’re exactly the same: spineless cowards looking for a chance to stab each other in the back. So all Retribution has to do is stand back and watch them fall. Retribution doesn’t need to shut down Team Raw because they’ll do that themselves. Ali’s only concern is to see if the captain is willing to go down with the ship.

Speaking of, Styles joins commentary and says Ali has been here for a cup of coffee. He has no idea what he’s talking about. Team Raw makes their entrances, from Braun to Keith to Sheamus to Riddle. Retribution makes their entrance now, getting in Team Raw’s faces already. The ref keeps the peace and the teams sort out. Slapjack starts with Riddle as Ali shouts, “AJ, you call this a team?” Riddle gets a leg but Slapjack sprawls. Riddle gets around to a waistlock then headlock but Slapjack slips out. Riddle gets Slapjack back but they end up in ropes. The two separate and Riddle kicks at Slapjack as they get up. They tie up again, Riddle gets around to a sleeper hold! Slapjack throws Riddle off but Riddle gut wrenches! And then gut wrenches again!

Slapjack scrambles away, tag to T-Bar! Riddle gets around T-Bar to PELE! Riddle runs in to forearm T-Bar into the corner! Then side to side for another! T-Bar fights off the exploder then BOOTS Keith! Riddle gets T-Bar for the BROSPLODER after all! And the BROTON! Cover, ONE! Riddle keeps on T-Bar but Styles is amazed about that kick-out. Riddle reaches but Sheamus and Braun both want the tag. SO they start shoving each other! Styles is upset and has to go over to his team. He tells Sheamus and Braun that as captain, which he isn’t yet, the team needs to keep this together. Braun shoves Styles into Jordan and Styles has to tell Jordan to stand down now! Ali might be right about Team Raw as Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again and T-Bar has Riddle down with a chinlock! Riddle fights up but T-Bar throws him down! Cover, TWO! T-Bar keeps on Riddle with body shots and tags in Mace. Mace tags in Slapjack before he and T-Bar DOUBLE KNEE Riddle! Then they double hip toss CANNONBALL Slapjack into Riddle! Cover but Sheamus breaks it! Slapjack drags Riddle away, tags in Ali and Ali looms over Riddle. “AJ, are you watching?” Ali KICKS Riddle, then makes Styles watch. Riddle CHOPS back, but Ali spins him around for a neckbreaker! Cover, TWO! Styles is relieved but Ali drags Riddle up. “I want you to watch what a team can do!” Ali stomps a mudhole, tags T-Bar in and T-Bar stomps a mudhole of his own! T-Bar talks trash to the rest of Team Raw before he goes back to Riddle.

T-Bar drags Riddle up by his hair, tags Mace in, but Riddle fights back! Mace shoves Riddle, he and T-Bar double BOOT Riddle down! Cover, TWO! Riddle survives again but Mace tags in Slapjack. “We are judge, jury and executioner, AJ!” Slapjack clubs Riddle down then taunts the team. Riddle blocks a kick to an ANKLE LOCK! Slapjack rolls and throws Riddle off, but Riddle fireman’s carries! Slapjack fights out, ducks a kick and reels Riddle in for a ripcord KNEE! But Riddle hits a BROSPLODER! They both crawl, hot tags to Ali and Keith! Ali sees the Limitless One and runs away! Mace swing son Keith but Keith runs him over! And he runs T-Bar over! And corner splashes Mace and then T-Bar! And then he hits Slapjack!

Keith tosses Slapjack AT Mace and T-Bar! Then Keith POUNCES Slapjack down! Styles is excited to see this as Keith dead lifts Slapjack and swings him into Mace! And into T-Bar! And then Keith tosses Slapjack aside to double clothesline T-Bar and Mace out! They land on their feet to drag Keith out! Ali distracts the ref but Keith choke grips! Ali DIVES and sends Keith into the desk!! Retribution puts Keith in, Ali covers, TWO!! Braun and Sheamus decide to work together, and they flank Retribution! The Strowman Express DERAILS Mace and T-Bar!! Slapjack runs into a BROGUE!! Styles is loving this! Keith CHOKE SLAMS Ali! Sheamus tags in without notice, but then so does Braun!

Styles is disappointed again but Braun brings Ali up. Sheamus pushes Ali down and he argues with Braun again! Braun shoves Sheamus out of the ring! Riddle tags in and now Braun shoves Riddle down! Styles can’t believe his team is falling apart like this! Ali shoves Riddle into Braun AND Keith, and then rolls riddle up! RETRIBUTION WINS!!

Winner: Retribution, by pinfall

Just as Ali said it would go! Team Raw could not hold it together long enough and now they’re imploding! Styles is mad at all of them for letting it go this way when they had it won! Will this be exactly how Survivor Series turns out?

Nikki Cross is searching the halls.

She asks if anyone’s seen Alexa Bliss but no one’s seen her. Sarah comes by to ask Nikki about last week’s ultimatum, Fiend or Nikki. Alexa chose Fiend, so why is Nikki still trying to find her? Nikki says that friends never give up on friends. Last week wasn’t Alexa, it was whatever Bray has done to her. “No matter what, I have to get Lexi away from The Fiend. No matter what.” But what will that entail?

Sarah then spots Jeff Hardy up to something. He’s tearing down posters. It’s Elias still acting like the case of Hardy’s hit ‘n’ run is still going! Hardy knows it from the phone number, too: 555-AMEN. Elias’ skills with Photoshop are about as good as his musical ones. If Elias wants information, Hardy will give him the big break he’s after. Will the Charismatic Enigma finally enlighten The Drifter?

Raw returns and Hardy finds Elias.

Hardy throws Elias’ fliers in his face and asks what these are about. Elias says he’s looking for justice to be served. “The powers that be” haven’t found the man who tried to end Elias’ career, so Elias is taking this into his own hands. Does Hardy have something to report? Hardy keeps telling Elias that he didn’t do it! Elias says Hardy is the only one who knows exactly what happened that night, because he’s the one who did it. Hardy slams Elias against lockers and tells him he was proven innocent! How many times does Hardy have to say it? If Elias keeps accusing Hardy of something he didn’t do, Hardy will be found guilty of a lot worse. “Can I get an amen, brother?!” Hardy shoves Elias as he storms off, and Elias says we’ll just have to find out.

The Miz w/ John Morrison VS Bray Wyatt w/ Alexa Bliss!

This isn’t the first time the Hollywood A-Lister and Bray Wyatt have had beef, but Miz’s past might come back to  haunt him. He gets a mic to say, “Listen, Bray. I know we haven’t seen eye to eye as of late.” Bray sent a demonic doll to torment Miz’s daughter, and now Miz said some things that were out of line. Both unacceptable, one more than the other, but not the point! Let’s just consider all things water under the bridge. Like Leonardo da Vinci once said, “Water is the driving force of all nature.” Wait, really? Yeah, it flows only one way. But the point is, there is no reason to have this match. None! They should find a peaceful solution. And the solution is that Orton and McIntyre are having a title match tonight. This is the perfect opportunity for them both! Bray wants after Orton, Miz wants the title, they can work together and make everyone’s dreams come true! “What do you say, pal?”

Alexa Bliss makes her entrance, with a properly twisted remix of her music. “He says… NO.” But Nikki shows up to try and tell Alexa Bray is bad news! Alexa needs to stop this! Leave the Fun House! Please! For your best friend? Alexa says Nikki is right. But then she SLAPS Nikki and fires off furious fists! Nikki hits back and they scrap on the stage! Officials hurry out to stop this, and now Bray comes out, and Alexa calms down! Bray looks disapprovingly at Nikki, then laughs and goes arm-in-arm with Alexa to the ring. Miz and Morrison are even more afraid, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns and Bray is in the ring, smiling at Miz. The bell rings and Bray says to hold on. He tells Miz this doesn’t have to be this way, just shake his hand and Bray will forgive him. Miz isn’t trusting that and he throws a haymaker! Bray just laughs as Miz hits him more! And CHOPS and whips! Bray reverses to body check Miz down! Alexa laughs as Bray says, “Oopsie daisy!” Bray drags Miz up but Miz kicks and clubs him to the ropes! Miz chokes Bray, lets off at 4, but Morrison gets a cheap shot in! That only angers Bray! Alexa spooks Morrison from the corner, but Miz shouts at Alexa. Bray DECKS Miz with an uppercut, then rains down uppercuts and forearms! Miz flounders out and Bray says Miz should never talk to Alexa like that!

Bray RAMS Miz into steel steps! Bray chokes Miz, drags him up and puts him in the ring. Bray calms down and blows a kiss to Alexa before he gets in the ring. But Miz BOOTS back! Bray just gets angry again. But then Bray laughs as he chases after Miz on the apron. Miz hotshots back, gets up top, and leaps to ax handle Bray down! Basement DDT! Cover, ONE!? Miz can’t believe it! Miz throws haymakers on Bray then gives him It Kicks! Bray sits up again but gets more kicks! And more kicks! And more, and more, and more! Miz glares at Alexa before he aims at Bray. Bray ducks the Buzzsaw and table tops Miz, to then get him for- No! Miz escapes Sister Abigail and runs, into a LARIAT!!

Bray glares at Miz as Alexa cheers. Corner splash! Whip, but Miz dodges, only to get another body check! Bray is wild eyed as he gives Miz an URENAGE! Bray isn’t done, he drags Miz up for the NECK TWIST! Morrison is worried for Miz as Bray does the spider walk in the corner! Morrison swipes at Bray but that only gets Bray’s eyes on him! Morrison backs away slowly, but then Alexa LEAPS onto him and they go over the barriers!! But Miz clobbers Bray, and hits an A-List Lariat in the corner! Miz seethes but Bray just glare at him! SISTER ABIGAIL!! Cover, Bray wins!

Winner: Bray Wyatt, by pinfall

Bray calms down and Alexa rises up with a big smile on her face. Alexa walks on the barrier like a tight rope, singing along with the theme song. Bray helps her down and they walk off hand in hand. But then he shows himself on the titantron. Bray and Alexa stare blankly into space before disappearing. Will the Firefly Fun House friends slowly but surely take over all of Raw?

Every story has a beginning, middle and end.

“But no two stories are ever the same.” For Drew McIntyre, he lives a hero’s tale. The proud warrior faces trials and tribulations. Released from the WWE, the journey back to greatness was long and hard. McIntyre never surrenders, and that is why he lived his dream at WrestleMania. “But even this noblest of tales can suffer a catastrophic twist from outta nowhere.” For Orton’s story followed “a more sinister plot.” Orton is a man who stops at nothing, does whatever he wants to whoever he wants, to fulfill a preordained legacy. “I know what I desire, and I desire to become champion again.” Now these divergent tales are heading for the same fateful chapter. Orton says he is the best, but the story is not over. McIntyre made sure to make Orton’s life a living hell. Beginning, middle, end, who writes their story with their own actions?

Backstage interview with Adam Pearce.

Pearce again says that the Raw Women’s Team is down two members because of injuries to Mandy and Dana tonight. He has no choice but to add Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce to the team. Thank you for the update, Adam Pearce. And now, Charly interviews Asuka in regards to her match with Sasha Banks. Asuka is fired up for this match with Sasha! She will beat her at Survivor Series because no one is ready for Asuka!! The Empress is so fired up, will she burn The Boss down?

Backstage with Randy Orton.

What is his confidence level right now? Orton tells Charly that he has a long list of distractions right now. Bray lurking, Miz and the MITB briefcase, Roman at Survivor Series, but of course his match up next. Don’t be on that long list of distractions. The Viper is coiled and ready to strike, will he take McIntyre down one last time?

Angel Garza speaks.

“When I was a kid, there would always be roses growing in the garden. Red, yellow, white, they were all so beautiful! But they had sharp, painful thorns to protect themselves.” To Garza, all the women in the world are like the roses. Garza likes to think of himself as a thorn protecting that beauty. Look at the man next to you and ask yourself, “Will he protect you like a thorn does a rose?” Is he willing to inflict pain to defend her beauty? Garza is. And his rose, is for you.

Nia and Shayna talk backstage.

Why did Shayna stomp Mandy’s arm that hard? Can’t she hold back or something? Oh please, Nia put Lana through a table nine weeks now. Pulverizing Lana is in good fun. The team could’ve actually used Mandy and Dana. Well first of all, don’t put Dana on Shayna, that was “Reckoning.” Secondly, they don’t need anyone on their team. The only two that ever mattered were Nia and Shayna. But Lacey and Peyton come over, and Lacey says “you two nasties” better not think they can push them around. They weren’t thinking about you at all.

Peyton says what Lacey is trying to say is that they’re all very excited to be on the team, and are wondering if they want to talk strategy. Seriously? Well, not if they’re busy. Peyton drags Lacey away and Nia says this is Shayna’s fault. This is the worst idea since… Quibi. What’s Nia got again Quibi?

WWE World Championship: Randy Orton VS Drew McIntyre!

We may have seen these two battle for the title over and over again, from SummerSlam to Clash of Champions to Hell in a Cell, but those were all with the Scottish Stud defending the title. Orton won after three, will McIntyre win the title back his first try?

McIntyre takes a little longer to make his entrance, because he finishes dressing in his ancestral kilt! And carrying THE McIntyre claymore, too! “There can only be one!!” McIntyre stabs the sword into the stage and flames erupt! McIntyre is ready for war! Will “what was lost, thought never to be found again” help McIntyre reclaim the title?

Raw returns again as Orton makes his entrance. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and what could very well be the final chapter between these two finally begins!

Orton and McIntyre circle, tie up, and they go around. McIntyre puts Orton in a corner, Orton pushes out and headlocks, but McIntyre slips in to headlock back. Orton pulls hair, powers out but McIntyre runs him over! McIntyre dares Orton to get back up but Orton stays low. McIntyre smirks as he and Orton circle again. They tie up, Orton kicks low and clubs McIntyre on the back. Orton throws hands but McIntyre throws counter punches! McIntyre ROCKS Orton then headbutts him down! McIntyre stomps Orton’s hand, much like Orton might! McIntyre brings Orton up and throws hands, but Orton gives them back! ANOTHER headbutt rocks Orton! Orton holds his face, McIntyre runs, but Orton follows, only to run into a SPINE BUSTER! Jackknife cover, TWO!

Orton scrambles away, still checking his face. Orton grabs the belt and McIntyre sees he wants to use Champion’s Advantage! McIntyre won’t allow that and he pursues! McIntyre clobbers Orton from behind, drags Orton up and bumps him off barriers! And then says, “You belong to me!” before he puts Orton in the ring. Orton is dazed, McIntyre aims, but Orton ducks the Claymore like HIAC! Orton bails out again, grabs the belt of the ground, and considers leaving again. But Adam Pearce cuts him off at the ramp! Pearce says there will be NO HOLDS BARRED NOW!! Will the Viper stand a chance against McIntyre now that the rules have changed?

WWE World Championship No Holds Barred: Randy Orton VS Drew McIntyre!

Raw returns once again and Orton throw haymakers but McIntyre gives them back. They brawl back and forth, Orton kicks low then whips McIntyre to a corner. McIntyre comes back to clothesline Orton! McIntyre whips but Orton reverses to the back2backbreaker! Orton bails out to use the No DQ stipulation and he brings in a chair! Orton aims and JAMS McIntyre, then SMACKS him on the back! McIntyre writhes but Orton looms over him. Orton mockingly asks how McIntyre is doing. McIntyre paws at Orton but Orton JAMS McIntyre with the chair more! McIntyre holds the chair off as Orton goes after the jaw! Orton presses the steel into McIntyre’s face! Orton finally lets off but he grins as he aims again.

Another SMACK on McIntyre’s back sends him writhing to a corner! Orton covers, TWO! Another, ONE! Another, ONE! Orton pushes McIntyre out and follows behind, and he gives McIntyre a BARRIER BACK SUPLEX! McIntyre falls in a heap and Orton goes right to the steel steps. Orton aims at McIntyre as McIntyre rises, and RAMS him down! Orton drags McIntyre back up and puts him in the ring. Cover, TWO!! McIntyre is still in this and Orton can’t believe it! Orton keeps McIntyre from grabbing the chair as he stomps onto the bad jaw! Then a knee, then a foot, then a hand! Orton drops a knee right on McIntyre’s head, then covers, TWO! Orton doesn’t let off as he throws McIntyre right back out. Orton tosses the chair, no longer needing it.

Orton stalks McIntyre to the announce desk, but McIntyre blocks the bump to CHOP back! Orton pokes McIntyre’s eyes! McIntyre staggers about, Orton clears off the desk and brings McIntyre back. Orton throws uppercuts, then gives McIntyre an ANNOUNCE DESK BCK SUPLEX! The ref checks on McIntyre but he won’t give up like this. Orton climbs up to ground ‘n’ pound McIntyre into the desk! Orton makes sure to go after the bad jaw, too! “The title’s mine! It’ll never be yours again, you hear me?!” Orton drags McIntyre off the desk, just to back suplex him back onto it! McIntyre writhes but Orton clears some space.

Orton drags McIntyre up and around, but McIntyre blocks this third one! McIntyre punches Orton back, throws haymakers and has Orton against the desk! McIntyre punches Orton until he’s on the desk, then brings him up for a DESK BACK SUPLEX of his own! McIntyre brings Orton up for a second DESK BACK SUPLEX! Orton sputters and curses under his breath while McIntyre seethes. McIntyre gets some space, aims at Orton, runs in and CLAY- NO! Orton moves and McIntyre crashes and burns off the desk! McIntyre is down and writhing as Raw goes picture in picture!

Orton rests against the ring apron while McIntyre is still down. McIntyre gets up slowly as the ref checks on him. Orton goes searching under the ring again and he brings out a table! But Orton also moves slowly from all the damage he’s taken, so McIntyre is rising from behind the desk! McIntyre tumbles from the pain in his back, Orton gets the table up. Raw returns to single picture as Orton hobbles over to McIntyre. Orton brings McIntyre over, but McIntyre blocks the bump off steps to give it to Orton! McIntyre puts Orton in the ring but Orton kicks him down! Cover, TWO! Orton keeps on McIntyre by pulling hair and wrapping on a chinlock. McIntyre endures as Orton squeezes tight.

Fans rally up and McIntyre fights his way up. McIntyre throws body shots, throws haymakers and a CHOP! McIntyre whips and OVERHEAD SUPLEXES Orton! Then does it again from the corner! McIntyre grits his teeth as he demands Orton stand. Orton rises, McIntyre runs in, leaping neckbreaker! And a kip up! McIntyre says he still has plenty left! He watches Orton rise again, kicks low and underhooks, but no Future Shock! McIntyre kicks him again to whip Orton to a corner, but Orton puts McIntyre on the apron. McIntyre climbs up, Orton haymakers first then throws more hands as he climbs up to join McIntyre. McIntyre hits back, they brawl up top but Orton gets McIntyre up, for a SUPERPLEX! But both men are down, Orton has to crawl to a cover! TWO!!

Orton is too sore to be frustrated. He and McIntyre slowly rise, and he goes to RKO but McIntyre backslides! TWO, but McIntyre hits FUTURE SHOCK! Cover, TWO!! Orton survives both what beat him at SummerSlam and what would normally beat normal men! McIntyre drags Orton back up, fireman’s carries but Orton fights free to the apron. McIntyre hotshots Orton but Orton holds on! McIntyre JABS Orton, pie faces him, and then CHOPS him! Orton falls through the table!! McIntyre grins as he drags Orton back up from the wreckage and puts him back in the ring. Cover, TWO!! Orton survives and McIntyre is beside himself!

McIntyre goes to a corner, seethes as he aims at Orton again, and Orton rises, to POWERSLAM McIntyre out of the Claymore! Both men are down again, their backs both killing them! Orton’s back has a cut on it and it’s bleeding slightly as he stalks McIntyre outside and to the desk. Orton drags McIntyre along for a DRAPING DDT! A bit double-edged given Orton’s back but he won’t let up. Orton goes to the ring, drags McIntyre up through the ropes, for another DRAPING DDT! Fans give thumbs down as Orton hears the voices in his head! McIntyre sits up in a daze, Orton stalks up behind him, but McIntyre shoves him away! CLAYMORE OUTTA NOWHERE!! Cover, McIntyre wins!!

Winner: Drew McIntyre, by pinfall (NEW WWE World Champion)

The conquering hero is a two-time WWE World Champion!! And now he tells “the head of the table” to set a place for him this Sunday, because McIntyre’s coming for him! Will McIntyre finally prove HE is #TheBestoftheBest against Roman Reigns at Survivor Series?

My Thoughts:

What a great Raw for the go-home to Survivor Series! The main story with the world title and everyone related was great stuff. McIntyre doing a great opening promo, Miz and Morrison with a pretty good promo to remind us about the MITB chances, McIntyre scaring them off, good stuff. Firefly Fun House with Bray’s response to Miz was good stuff, and I just knew the spelling bee would have that kind of punchline. Bray VS Miz, with Alexa, Morrison and even Nikki having their own parts to play, was great stuff, too. I really need to see Alexa VS Nikki be a thing for at least Royal Rumble, possibly a rematch at WrestleMania and that is where we get the second ever Firefly Fun House match. Now obviously there was no cash-in tonight because Miz got beat up by Bray so it’s totally logical.

McIntyre VS Orton was incredible, practically PPV worthy in itself, and it has been quite some time since I’ve seen a table cut someone’s back up. It is amazing for McIntyre to win the title back and give us McIntyre VS Roman for Survivor Series. It was also good for Roman not to show up and step on McIntyre’s moment, McIntyre needed to have the ending of Raw alone to himself. Now, I feel like my idea for Miz cashing in during the World VS Universal Championship could still happen, but could also be disrupted any number of ways. For one, would Miz have to specify he’s after the world title and not the Universal? That could cause hesitation that then costs him. But there’s also the chances Jey Uso shows up to defend Roman, which can also be used as a pivotal moment in the Tribal Chief story, which I would love to see.

The Women’s Division story took an interesting turn. Mandy and Dana being sidelined from Survivor Series seems like a shame, but it at least meant “Reckoning” Mia Yim something to do tonight. Obviously Peyton and Lacey were going to replace Mandy and Dana, there are no other women to join the team right now. I did appreciate their bit with Nia and Shayna, and while Peyton and Lacey have similarly entertaining “not friends but still a team” chemistry, I don’t know why Vince broke IIconics up just to make another odd couple team. Asuka had a fairly goofy promo to hype up her match with Sasha Banks, but I think Asuka’s build to Survivor Series has been very lacking because of so many women being involved in the tag team story. And in Lana’s own role in this, I wish Nia had spared her this week, so that it can be even a slight surprise at Survivor Series if she gets put through a desk again.

Not sure how to feel about Elias and Hardy continuing the feud. Elias should just let it go, but then he wouldn’t have a feud with anyone. The Raw Tag Team Championship match was incredible stuff, but I’m glad New Day wins. It would make all the segments Big E and The Street Profits have had completely pointless. Profits want after New Day so it’s great that they get what they want, and that match will be great stuff, too. Unless SmackDown pulls the rug out from under this with a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match where Profits lose. SmackDown’s the cooler show so they probably wouldn’t do that.

The Raw Men’s Team had a lot of great stuff tonight. They had great character work arguing about things, and I liked the bit of banter with Styles and Jordan. Though, clearly WWE is just scrubbing Raw Underground continuity about Jordan. He talked to Shane all the time, Styles should know Jordan can speak English! Ali had a really good promo and it seemed natural that Team Raw fell apart as he said. I just wish Retribution would be written as better characters. Ali shouldn’t be chicken Heel, T-Bar should be on the same power level as Dijak, and the 8 Man Tag should’ve been amazing from start to finish. Dijak and Keith should’ve given us some reminders of NXT and then part of the story is that Keith feels like he’s met T-Bar before, a totally tongue in cheek way of hinting at who T-Bar really is behind the mask. That would be the ultimate way to redeem what Vince has done to Retribution.

My Score: 8.6/10

Winner: Jackson Drake, by pinfall (advances to the WWE Evolve Championship Fatal 4 Way)

Vanity Project celebrates with #HeartbreakDrake, though they did have a hand in the victory. Will Drake be the true Wild Card of that Fatal 4 Way Elimination match? Or will not even his friends help him survive Edris Enofe, Keanu Carver and “Super” Sean Legacy?

Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont talk backstage.

Ty & Ty are ready for their match tonight against Cappuccino Jones & Jack Cartwheel, but Tyson knows those two are the quickest and most exciting team on Evolve. Tyriek says sure, but they’re not the most explosive, that’s them! It’ll be speed VS power, and they’ll find out that it doesn’t matter how fast you’re going when you run into a brick wall. Cartwheel, Cappuccino, speed only beats power when you apply that pressure, and their pressure will knock you out! Ty & Ty are fired up now, will they bring down the house on Cappuccino & Cartwheel? Or will C & C be able to leap over that High Ryze?

It’s Gal speaks.

The Real-Life Action Figure is poolside as he says, “This is the life of It’s Gal! After my pool and gym routine, the abs are flexing, the quads are quading, the pecs, oh, they’re popping. And now, it’s time to catch some rays. But I can’t fully enjoy my fun in the sun because of this Gal wannabe, Troy Yearwood. Everyone in WWE Evolve says you have the body of an Adonis, the best physique in Evolve. Are they blind? Lemme tell you who has the best physique in Evolve. It’s Gal, it’s Gal, it’s Gal! Standing here at 5% body fat, looking like a million bucks right now.

“So Mr. All ACC hammer throw star, this is your first and final warning. You better stay outta my way, because when you’re in Mint Condition, there is no competition, dummy!” Gal may be 5% body fat but he’s 110% ego. Will he be humbled should he have a run-in with the LFG star?

Jackson Drake speaks.

Apparently the Carolina Reaper has still been in the ring this whole time…? He interrupts Robert Stone & Pete Rosenberg, and says the fans would rather here “Daddy” speak. “Week after week after week, myself, Zayda Steel, Bryce Donovan, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes prove that the Vanity Project is the hottest thing going on WWE Evolve, in more ways than one!” Fans boo, but Drake says guess what? They’re just getting started! Because Drake will bring that drip to Vanity Project when he wins the WWE Evolve Championship! But wait, here comes Edris Enofe! The fans cheer as the Epitome of Excellence speaks now.

“Mr. Drake, Mr. Drake. Hey, Mr. Drake, Mr. Drake, Mr. Drake. I just find it funny… Actually, I find it hilarious that you can stand there and call yourself the hottest thing going on Evolve, especially when you got a guy like me, the EOE, the Epitome of Excellence, standing here right now!” The fans cheer on “E O E! E O E!” and Drake mockingly applauds. Edris says next week, that is a moment he has been waiting for, for a very, very long time. The fans know that he has worked his ass off, grinding for four years, to let this slip through his fingers! So if Drake wants that title, well bad news. Drake goes home empty handed, as that title goes around the waist of Edris Enofe!

Wait, here comes “Super Sean!” Sean Legacy has his own mic to say okay, okay. A couple weeks ago, Vanity Project wanted Lexis King to make sure Legacy didn’t compete in the Fatal 4 Way. And Legacy will make no excuses, Lexis King was the better man that night. But as you can see, Legacy is still standing! The fans cheer that, and Legacy joins the others in the ring. Legacy tells Edris that he respects the journey, and Edris coming back from injury. Four YEARS of grind, but Legacy has been at it for EIGHT! Legacy has been working his way up the food chain to create his legacy. And that starts now!

Because next week, the person standing with THE WWE Evolve Championship above his head will be Legacy. Because he will show the WWE Universe why Sean Legacy will always be SUPER! Drake says yeah, yeah, well, he’s super tired of listening to them. Drake says neither of them are qualified, there is nobody in this match qualified like Drake. Drake drops the mic, exits the ring, but bumps into Keanu Carver! Drake forgot about the big man, and then he finds himself surrounded! Edris ROCKS Drake, Legacy ROCKS Drake, and Keanu DECKS Drake! Refs rush out to stop it here, but all four men will be let loose next week! Who will be the last one standing with the title?

Backstage interview with Cappuccino Jones & Jack Cartwheel.

Chuey Martinez is with the most energetic team in Evolve, and says tonight, they go up against a pair of powerhouses. How will they handle that beef? Jones says the pot is hot and extra large. But you can’t hit what you can’t catch. Jack says it is their speed against Ty & Ty’s power. But it is simple physics of momentum and leverage. They can stick ‘n’ move! They’ve got a triple shot of energy ready to hit Tyriek & Tyson in the mouth. Cappuccino & Cartwheel are gonna turn Evolve on its head! They are fired up now and head out, will they be able to blow right past the High Ryze? Or will they get blown up by that TNT?

Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont VS Cappuccino Jones & Jack Cartwheel!

Evolve returns as the teams make their entrance. The teams sort out and Cartwheel starts against Tyriek. Tyriek pokes fun at Jack’s height, then they tie up. Tyriek shoves Jack down, but Jack kips back up! The fans cheer, the two tie up again, and Tyriek shoves, but Jack cartwheels through! Jack then cartwheels to dodge and Tyriek hits buckles! Jack RAMS shoulders again and again, but Tyriek ROCKS Jack! Tyriek tags Tyson, then feeds Jack to the SIDEWALK SLAM! Tyson taunts Cappuccino, runs up on Jack, but Jack dodges! Tyson hits buckles and Jack headlocks. Tyson powers out, Jones tags in! Jack trips Tyson and Jones basement DROPKICKS!

Cappuccino & Cartwheel DOUBLE LARIAT Tyson out of the ring! Then they build speed, but Wes Lee is here! He gets his guys together to talk this out. Ty & Ty refocus and go back to the ring. Tyriek distracts so Tyson can CLOBBER Cappuccino Jones! Tyson rains down fists, and he tags in Tyriek. Feed to the scoop and the SLAM! Tyriek talks smack on Jack, stomps Jones down, then stands on him! Tyrike pulls Jones’ hair, Wes likes what he sees, but the ref reprimands. The fans rally for Jones as Tyriek lets off. Jones rises to fire hands! Tyriek KNEES low, whips him to the corner, and he RAMS Jones!

Tyson tags in, he runs up, and he SPLASHES Jones! The fans boo but Tyriek tags back in. Tyriek takes off his belt, runs up, but Jones dodges! Tyriek POSTS himself and knocks Tyson down at the same time! Jones rolls Tyriek up, TWO!! ENZIGIRI! Tyriek sputters, Jones crawls, and the fans rally up! Tyriek swings, misses, hot tag to Jack! Jack dodges Tyriek, BLASTS Tyson, then cartwheels to LARIAT! And tilt-o-whirl RANA! Handspring and BACK ELBOW! Jack reels Tyriek in, KICKS Tyson and TORNADO DDTS in one go! Jack then handsprings to FOSBURY FLOP! Down goes Tyson, and Jack hurries up top!

Wes is annoyed as Jack FLYING CARTWHEELS! Cover, Tyson breaks it! Jones is up and he ROCKS Tyson! Jack SUPERKICKS Tyson, then he and Jones DOUBLE DROPKICK! Tyson flops out, Tyriek runs up, and Jack rolls Jones out of the way! The BOOT hits Jack! Tyson drags Jones out of the ring to UPPERCUT! Tyriek facelocks Jack, tags Tyson, and then the SLAM DUNK SAIDO!! Cover, Ty & Ty win!

Winners: Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont, by pinfall

It went down just as they said, T&T blows up C&C! Will NXT and Evolve soon belong to the High Ryze?

Stevie Turner signs a new star to the roster!

The Prime Minister assures the new recruit that Evolve is the most exciting, fastest growing brand. She welcomes Jin Tala to the already deep women’s roster. Jin thanks Stevie for this opportunity, and is ready to shake up the women’s division. Stevie says she looks forward to it. Jin signs on the dotted line, but now Carlee Bright walks in. Carlee heard Stevie wanted to meet with her, and Stevie says yes. We all know Carlee is Kendal’s best friend, but tonight, there needs to be on one else ringside. This Fatal 4 Way has to be just about the four in the match.

Carlee says she gets it, that is absolutely fair. Stevie also helps make introductions between Carlee and Jin, and says they will be opponents on next week’s episode. Carlee and Jin shake hands, and Carlee says, “May the best woman win.” Will Jin prove she’s ready to Evolve?

Natalya is backstage!

Evolve Media catches up with the Queen of Harts, and asks what The BOAT is doing here. Natty says she’s going to be not only watching tonight’s main event title match, but she will have the honor of presenting the WWE Women’s Evolve Championship to the winner. It is a very cool moment, she is excited to be here, this is going to be a wonderful night. Natty heads out, who will she have the honor of handing the title to?

High Ryze regroups backstage.

Wes says that is what he is talking about! Tyriek says that’s what they told everyone earlier! Power beats speed, every time! Tyson says you gotta admit, though. Jones & Jack are fast. But when you train with the fastest, those boys don’t stand a chance. Wes says they’re making him blush. But his boys have been making a ruckus here on Evolve, so he had to turn up and see what all the noise was about. Jones & Cartwheel have potential. But potential doesn’t measure up here. Tyson says they haven’t heard the last of Jones & Cartwheel, but Wes says that’s fine, they can come see him about it. The High Ryze is feeling good, but will Wes put a punctuation on what we saw tonight?

WWE Women’s Evolve Championship Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match: Kali Armstrong VS Kendal Grey VS Wendy Choo VS Kylie Rae!

This is the moment of truth! Three months ago, WWE brought Evolve into the fold, and this new generation of superstars began their journey. These four standouts now stand across from each other, and only the last one left will become a champion! Will it be The Difference Maker, Grappler Grey, Wicked Wendy, or Smiley Kylie that is crowned the INAUGURAL WWE Evolve Women’s Champion?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who has their moment!

The bell rings and the fans rally. Kali RAMS Kendal, Kylie and Wendy brawl, and Kendal comes back to TACKLE Kali! Kylie and Wendy scrap all the way to the outside while Kendal fires shots on Kali in the corner. Kali shoves Kendal, CLOBBERS Kendal, then builds speed, but Wendy trips her up! The Difference Maker promised everyone that her name would go down in the history books, and that promise has been fulfilled! Natalya brings the belt to Kali, but Kali kinda snatches it away with some attitude. Kali wants to be an inspiration but she’s got a bit of an ego, will she simply just get hers #StraightLikeThat and leave everyone else in the dust?

My Thoughts:

A great Evolve here, even with expected outcomes. I will say they surprised me by making the final two Kali and Kylie, not Kali and Kendal, who have had their rivalry going since episode one. But perhaps Kendal will be Kali’s first challenger to really add to the feud. Kylie and Wendy also aren’t done, even with Kylie pinning Wendy to eliminate her. In fact, that’s wild that Kylie did the work of eliminating the others for Kali to win out… But at the same time, Kylie and Wendy can feud, maybe name the winner of the blowoff a contender, as well.

Very good tag match stuff with The High Ryze VS Cappuccino & Cartwheel, and I like Wes showing up to support his guys. Wes VS Cartwheel will be awesome stuff, as well as Wes VS Cappuccino, and I suppose a third man might present himself so that we get a Six Man Tag for the full High Ryze faction to be in action together. Good promo from It’s Gal, and obviously a match of Gal VS Yearwood is coming. Gal is definitely the Heel who gets humbled, so Yearwood will get a great win. And good seeing more LFG stars signing up with Evolve, Jin Tala (Leigh Laurel from LFG) will have a good match with Carlee and certainly a good win.

Very good Triple Threat from Drake, Dorado and Oasis, and I figured Drake would win to join the Fatal 4 Way. Vanity Project needs somebody in that match if they’re to start dominating Evolve like they claim. But at the same time, very fitting that Drake gets humbled a bit by the other three contenders. That Fatal 4 is a bit harder to read, but Edris sadly feels like the fourth likely. His recovery and return makes a great story, but it just seems too soon for him to grab that title. Meanwhile, Keanu is just a beast, he’d be a fitting parallel to Kali as she’s a powerhouse of a first champion. And Super Sean has a North American Championship match, it’d be fitting to make it Champion VS Champion.

My Score: 8.8/10

Tony Schiavone is in the ring!

He welcomes us to Dynamite tonight in El Paso, and he welcomes out the 2025 Men’s Owen Hart Cup winner, Hangman Adam Page! The fans fire up as The Blackhat Cowboy walks out, King of Harts belt around his waist, and Schiavone brings up the great response from the fans. Hangman won The Owen in a dramatic classic on Sunday. The fans cheer, “You Deserve It!” as Hangman takes the mic. Hangman says, “Triumph. Triumph in life is fleeting, it’s momentary. You’re on top of the world for the night, and you wake up in the morning, and the moment you realize has passed you. But so is defeat.

“And in the past two years, and if I’m completely honest with myself, in the past three years, that is something that I let myself lose sight of. Because what matters is not the win, it is not the loss, it is what you decide to do with it that matters!” The fans cheer that! Hangman says at Double or nothing, two men entered the ring, and they both knew one would leave defeated. So before Hangman continues, he will say this to Will Ospreay. “Thank you. Thank you for the fight of my life! Thank you for reminding me why I decided to do this in the first place! And thank you for dispelling any notion that i had that you could not be the type of man to carry this company forward, because you can be!”

The fans cheer and chant for “Ospreay! Ospreay!” Hangman then says, while one tasted defeat, the other would taste victory. But he cannot relish in it! This moment is temporary and fleeting. Hangman will not hold this title, carry it or defend it. There will be another Owen Hart Cup, there will be another King of Harts. For now, Hangman returns this belt to AEW. Schiavone takes custody of the belt, and Hangman says he could stay out here all night and tell you how much this all truly means to him. But now, he must look forward to the one thing that for him, this has always been about: THE AEW World Championship!

The fans cheer that, and Hangman says that title has been the prize, the accomplishment, and the responsibility he has chased from the very moment we saw these three letters together for the first time. The fans chant “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Hangman says for seven MONTHS, that title has been hidden from the world, locked away in a briefcase. The fans boo, but Hangman says to him, that title was to be a shining light! A beacon to show the world what these three letters meant! It was about competition! About creativity! Compassion! Passion! And human dignity with which we all treat each other! That is what this is about!

The fans cheer more, and Hangman says on his first day in AEW, he told all of us, both here tonight and watching at home, that while he was here, we would be his boss. Tonight, he makes a promise. In seven weeks, here in Texas, Hangman will win the AEW World Championship! He will free it from the briefcase! He will hold it above his head for all the world to see! He will carry it and defend it with every ounce of his being, and that is a promise he will keep! But then “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Hangman is stunned, but here comes The Realest! Swerve steps into the ring to stare Hangman down, and Schiavone steps aside.

Swerve says, “I bet you wanna know why I’m here. So allow me to educate you and the fine people of El Paso, Texas why I’m here.” Swerve signals to the tron, and we flashback to April 9th of this year. Nick Jackson was explaining why The Young Bucks went and cost Swerve Strickland the AEW World Championship. They did it for their “good friend,” Hangman Page! Hangman wanted this! Swerve could not be world champion again, and The Bucks did that for him! They do not forget who their friends are! They love him, and they know he loves them. The fans boo and Swerve says he was looking at the same opportunity Hangman conveniently has now.

At Dynasty, the main event, Swerve had Moxley, he had the match won! And then so conveniently, The Bucks show up, who Swerve hadn’t bothered with since Blood & Guts, and they cost Swerve. But y’know who else was in the ring that night? Hangman Page. It is so funny how Hangman has his path to the title off Swerve’s loss. Swerve calls collusion! Hangman wants to make promises to the people of Texas? Let’s talk about a promise Hangman made. Hangman told Swerve to his face, in front of the world, that Hangman would never let Swerve be AEW World Champion again.

So Swerve is here now, staring Hangman down man to man, and he will ask Hangman, so don’t lie to him. Did Hangman do this? The fans chant “Tell The Truth! Tell The Truth!” Hangman says, “Well, dumbass… At Dynasty, I locked my eyes on you. Then I locked my eyes on Jon Moxley. And for one God forsaken second, I even thought about helping you. Swerve, if I had wanted to cost you that match, I would have done it myself to your face, because I have done it before.” The fans are torn, but Swerve says, “Sounds good, but you’re still full of sh*t.” The two jaw at each other while the fans rally up, but here comes Ospreay!

The fans cheer as the Aerial Assassin makes his way to the ring, and he has Swerve and Hangman back up. The fans are losing their minds seeing all three guys together. Ospreay borrows Swerve’s mic, and he looks to Hangman. The fans chant “BRUV! BRUV!” Ospreay then looks to Swerve, and Ospreay says he hates getting involved in Swerve’s business. Swerve has looked after Ospreay since he was 20 years old, he’s like a big brother. “But you’re wrong about him.” Ospreay defends Hangman, saying you learn a lot about someone getting in the ring with them when the stakes are high. And stakes couldn’t get any higher on Sunday.

On Sunday, Ospreay left it all in the ring with Hangman, and he has never felt more defeated in his entire life. Hangman had an important decision to make. He walked up the ramp, turned back, picked Ospreay up, and he shook Ospreay’s hand like a man. Ospreay looked in Hangman’s eyes, and he could see that Hangman cares about AEW. It is funny, because Ospreay had that same feeling when he lost to Swerve last year and then did the same thing. Swerve picked Ospreay up. Look around. The fans cheer, and Ospreay tells them both, “People are starting to believe in us again. I hate saying this to you, because I love you… But it is not you. I thought it was me, and it’s not me. It’s HIM!”

The fans cheer, and Ospreay wants Swerve to look at him. They have one shot at this. And they can make this easier on Hangman if they all work together. Swerve, Ospreay, Hangman- Swerve SLAPS the mic down! Ospreay wants Swerve to calm it down but Swerve says he will never work with Hangman, never trust Hangman, and never forgive Hangman! Swerve storms off and Ospreay is disappointed. The fans boo, but Ospreay tells Hangman to let that go. Hangman says he will work with Ospreay, but he will not work with Swerve either. Hangman storms off now, but will these bitter enemies ever realize this is bigger than them?

The Death Riders arrive.

Claudio parks the truck, and everybody spills out of the back. Moxley leads the way for Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and even Gabe Kidd. Moxley says, “Welcome to Dynamite.” They step into the building, find their way to the crowd, and they’re ready to redeem themselves from losing Anarchy in the Arena. But will they tear up Swerve’s allies to send a message? Or will this conglomeration come out on top?

PROGRAMMING NOTE for Collision!

This Saturday, May 31st, Collision will air coast to coast on TNT at 8 PM Eastern, OR immediately following NBA Playoffs Game 6, but you can always stream on HBO Max!

The Hurt Syndicate speaks.

MVP says, “Tonight was not just a momentous occasion, it was a historical occasion, because two things happened tonight. This was the fifth consecutive, successful title defense of the AEW Tag Team Championships, and the debut of the young genius, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, as a full-fledged member of the Hurt Syndicate.” MJF says, “Bobby & Shelton are the most dominate tag team in the world today. Think of any top tag team in this sport, anyone, they’d beat ’em clean, easy. These belts ain’t going nowhere. Now that I am in the Hurt Syndicate, I am gonna make sure of that. And the Syndicate, we roll together, so we’re all collectively going to make sure we’re all strapped in gold.

“As far as my Triple B goes, my Big Beautiful Belt, my AEW World title is concerned, it will soon be around my waist. And if you find yourself in between the Hurt Syndicate and our goals, don’t be surprised if you wake up face down in a pool of your own piss and blood. But hey, man, when it comes to the Syndicate, it ain’t personal. It’s just business.” They all fist bump, but who will be next to step up and get stepped on?

Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford speak.

The Superbad Girl says Anna Jay & Harley Cameron had to cheat to beat them on Sunday. Tonight, it is NO DISQUALIFICATIONS, just like Anna & Harley have always wanted. The Megasus says that means they are her next sacrifice. Will the path of destruction only be more destructive now that Megan doesn’t have to hold back?

Ricochet speaks.

The One & Only says, “I had told that everybody after Double or Nothing, after I had laid wasted to Mark Briscoe, I would continue my quest for gold. A quest that I have been on since day one here in AEW. But I stopped, and I take a second, and I look around AEW, and I get the lay of the land, and I start to see the landscape for what it actually is. I see the Death Riders, I see The Opps, I see the Don Callis Family, I see the Hurt Syndicate, and I think to myself… Ricochet needs a group. Ricochet needs a crew. Ricochet needs some loyal subjects that will follow and help him on his quest for gold.

“And once I do, once I find the perfect crew, then I will continue to show everybody why Ricochet is simply Outta This World. AHA~!”

No Disqualification Tag: Anna Jay & Harley Cameron VS Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford!

For those who watched the Double or Nothing Buy-In, what part of that tag match did Harley & Anna “cheat” to win? Perhaps the Megasus & Superbad Girl don’t want to admit they got outsmarted by the Queenslayer & Wild Aussie. But now there will be no excuses because there is no such thing as cheating in a No Disqualifications match! Will Anna & Harley be the stars of the show after going all out? Or will they be made to #BowDown?

Megan & Ford come prepared with a trash can, its lid, and a golden steel chair! But Anna & Harley are ready to ride as a couple cowgirls armed with two-by-four and steel pipe! The fans fire up as they rush the ring, and while Ford grabs at the wood, Anna trips her up! Harley slides in but Megan BOOTS her down! The bell rings and this essentially Texas Tornado gets spinning! Megan SLAMS Harley down, Anna sends Ford into railing, and Anna brings out chairs! Megan CHOPS Harley, RAMS her in the corner again and again, and grabs one of those chairs. Ford ROCKS Anna, Megan wedges a chair into the corner, and Ford CHOPS Anna.

El Paso wants tables but Ford whips Anna into railing! Anna falls, Megan sits Harley up in the corner, and Megan runs up, only for Harley to move! Megan’s CANNONBALL hits the chair! Harley & Anna mug Ford, then DDT her on the trash can lid! The fans fire up, Harley covers, but Megan breaks it! Megan stalks Harley, but Anna has her wood! Anna SMACKS Megan, but Megan doesn’t even flinch. Megan stares Anna down, the fans tell Anna she messed up, but Harley has her pipe! Harley CLUBS Megan and that was certainly felt! Anna grabs a chair and she SMACKS Megan! Harley PIPES Megan, Anna SMACKS Megan, repeat!

The fans fire up as Megan is just a giant pinball between those brutal flippers, but she gets pissed! Megan dodges H&A to DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up as Megan then goes for her golden chair! Megan sits it up at center, drags Harley up, and she reels her in! But Harley slips out of the suplex! Harley drop toeholds Megan on the chair, Anna SHOTGUNS Megan down! The fans fire up, Anna covers, but Ford breaks it! Harley has Ford for a KNEE down low! Anna has a chair of her own, sets that down, and Harley lines up the shot. Anna runs, they give Ford a form of BOOT CAMP! Cover, TWO!! Ford survives but Anna & Harley go outside.

The fans rally as they go looking, and yes, they bring out a TABLE! The fans fire up as Anna & Harley stand the table up nearby, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Anna & Harley go back into the ring, but Megan is there to clinch Anna! OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY! Ford goes Matrix to dodge Harley, and hits the CUTTER! Ford puts Harley in a corner for the HANDSPRING BACK ELBOW! Megan runs up to add a STINGER SPLASH! Ford picks up the trash can, puts it around Harley, and Megan sends her back in. SHOTGUN to the trash can! Ford drags Harley to a cover, TWO! Harley survives and Ford is frustrated. Ford dribbles Harley, Megan goes looking for things, and she brings out another table! Ford helps Megan set that up in the ring, propping it up in the corner.

Megan storms up on Anna, CLUBS her, then fireman’s carries. Megan runs at the table, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER through the table!! Megan drags Anna to a cover, HARLEY BREAKS IT! Ford is furious and she goes after Harley! Ford fireman’s carries, but Harley slips free to wrench and NECKBREAKER! Cover, Megan deadlifts Harley for a GERMAN SUPLEX! Megan huffs ‘n’ puffs and drags Harley over to the ropes. Megan scrubs Harley’s face with her boot, then soaks up heat. Megan brings Harley over, puts her on the apron, then goes out as Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans fire up already as Megan aims for the table!

Harley fights the urenage and throws elbows! Harley kicks low, SUNSET FLIP, but Megan holds on! Anna ROCKS Megan! Megan shakes her head as she holds on, but Anna ROCKS her again! Ford is up, armed with golden chair, but Anna BOOTS her first! Anna has the chair to SMACK Ford down! Then she SMACKS Megan in the face! Harley POWERBOMBS Megan down through the table!! The fans are thunderous and Anna is all fired up! But Ford runs up to BOOT Anna! Ford fireman’s carries, and GUT BUSTER DROPS Anna! Ford takes a chair, puts it under Anna, then STANDING MOONSAULTS, but Anna moves! Ford hits only chair!

The fans rally up while all four women are down! Harley rises up, looks to Anna and they coordinate. Harley fires up, she runs at Megan, but Megan blocks the wheelbarrow to SMACK Harley off the steel steps! Megan falls back, still hurting from the table, but now the ref has medics check Harley. Mercedes Mone arrives in a low rider.

The CEO is once again #FourBeltsMone as she holds up her Queen of Harts title, even as her driver parks the convertible. The AEW TBS Champion struts in as a rhinestone cowgirl, ready to meet the AEW Women’s World Champion face to face, but will they keep it civil? Or will there be a shootout in El Paso?

Six Man Tag: The Opps VS The Frat House!

Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs were part of the winning Team AEW at Anarchy in the Arena. But now, they focus on being AEW World Trios Champions. Will they be ready to go all in this summer? OR will Preston Vance, Griff Garrison, Cole Karter, Jacked Jameson, and even their El Paso “Pledges” be toasting a huge victory?

Jameson has a mic, and he tries to get the fans to join in on “FRAT~ HOUSE~!” They boo instead. Jameson says okay, last night, here in El Paso, him and the boys at Shifty’s Dive, throwing one of their world famous pledge parties. They are traveling the country, throwing these parties, looking for their next members. They were out on the town, and there was a sign with a saying that Jameson really likes: El Paso Strong! The fans cheer that! Jameson says that doesn’t make sense, all the guys are weak and skinny and all the girls are fat and ugly. The fans boo again. Jameson says needless to say, they didn’t find a new member.

But hey, that’s okay, they are not leaving emptyhanded. They’re walking out tonight the NEW Trios Champions! Uh, the belts aren’t on the line…? But Preston Vance says, “Win or lose, we BOOOOOOOOOZE~!” Vance gets in Joe’s face with that, and Joe HEADBUTTS him down! Shibata and Hobbs go after Karter & Garrison on the outside while Jameson and the Pledges scramble. The bell rings, Joe JABS away on Vance in the corner! The fans fire up as Joe just fires off! Joe CHOPS Vance down, and Shibata runs Karter right into railing! Joe CHOPS Vance again, whips him corner to corner, then runs in.

Griff CHOPS again, Shibata CHOPS again, and repeat! The fans fire up as Griff fires a forearm but Shibata fires back! Shibata eggs Griff on as Griff fires more shots, only for Shibata to DECK him! Shibata runs corner to corner and HYDRAULIC DROPKICKS!

Shibata drags Griff up, HALF HATCH, then cover, TWO! Griff stays in this but now Shibata tags Hobbs. Griff scrambles away to tag in Karter, but the Diamond in the Rough doesn’t know what he got into. Karter fires hands but Hobbs just takes them! Hobbs TOSSES Karter to the corner, fires hands, then whips corner to corner. LARIAT in the corner! The fans chant “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” as Hobbs fires more LARIATS into Karter! Hobbs reels Karter in for the short arm LARIAT! The straps come down and the fans fire up. Hobbs DECKS Griff off the apron, but Vance BLATSS Shibata and Joe!

Joe runs in, Vance runs away, and the ref is distracted, so Jameson slips in with that frat paddle! Jameson SMACKS Hobbs! Hobbs just gets mad! Hobbs LARIATS Jameson up and out! A Pledge is sent in!? Hobbs gives him a SPINEBUSTER! Another Pledge tries, but he gets a SPIENBUSTER! The third Pledge tries, he gets a SPINEBUSTER! Vance has the paddle! The ref stops Vance, and Hobbs gives him a SPINEBUSTER! Karter climbs up the corner, almost slips, but he still leaps, into a SPINEBUSTER! Cover, Opps win!

Winners: The Opps, by pinfall

That was town bidness times ten! Will the Frat House study up next time? Will The Opps continue to prove they are #NeverLacking?

Renee Paquette is in the ring.

Renee welcomes out the woman who fought her heart out at Double or Nothing, Jamie Hayter! The fans cheer as Hayter heads to the ring, clearly bummed she is NOT the 2025 Queen of Harts. Renee brings up that unfortunately, Hayter could not overcome Mone in the finals. And she knows Hayter was worried about what her future in AEW would look like without that win. Has Hayter had time to think about what’s next? Hayter tells Renee, that is the question. But then the lights go out!? Oh no, could it be…? The lights come back up and it is THEKLA! The Toxic Spider is in AEW, and she’s right on Hayter!

Thekla DECKS Hayter, then stands over her! Thekla stares into the camera, then spider-walks over! Will the “Idol Killer” tear down all those that came before her in order to be THE woman in AEW?

AEW TNT Championship: Adam Cole VS Kyle Fletcher w/ The Don Callis Family!

The Paragon could not stop the Don Callis Family on Sunday, and now the Panama City Playboy is the Protostar’s next target! Will the Aussie Arrow hit the mar and take this title home for the family? Or will it still be all about the BOOM?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is the true Face of TNT!

Callis is on commentary to say the fans love Cole because he’s just like the fans: he lives on hopes and dreams. Callis says you can’t take hopes to the bank, but you can bank on Fletcher! The bell rings and the fans rally up as Cole and Fletcher stare down. Cole and Fletcher circle, feel things out, and tie up. Fletcher puts Cole in a corner, lets off slowly, then rolls back to mock the “Adam Cole Baybay!” Cole and Kyle circle, tie up, and Cole waistlocks. Fletcher pries free, switches, then he SLAMS Cole down! The fans are torn but Fletcher flexes on Cole. Cole and Fletcher reset, circle, and tie up. Cole headlocks, Kyle fights the takeover, and Kyle powers out.

Kyle kicks low, CLUBS Cole on the back, but Cole PELES! The fans fire up and Kyle staggers around! Cole storms up to fire hands and he puts Kyle in a corner. Cole stomps a mudhole into Kyle, steps off as the ref counts, and he gives a proper “ADAM COLE, BAYBAY!” The fans cheer, Cole whips corner to corner, but Kyle reverses. Kyle runs up but Cole puts him on the apron, and SUPERKICKS him down! The fans fire up and Cole waits on Kyle. Cole goes to the apron and takes aim, only for PRG Vice to step up!

The fans boo as Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta stand in Cole’s way, but Callis says this is strength in numbers. Well speaking of, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly rush out here! Paragon brawls with RPG Vice and head to the back! The fans fire up, Cole goes to fetch Fletcher, but Fletcher SUPERKICKS Cole down! Kyle drags Cole up, reels him in, and APRON POWERBOMBS!! That was a lot more Cole’s head and neck then his back, and while the ref checks Cole, Callis mockingly says he’s gonna check on Kyle while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Fletcher flexes more while he soaks up heat, and Callis really does walk over to talk with him. Kyle steps into the ring and somehow Cole is okay to continue, so a ring count starts. Cole stirs at about 3 of 10, Callis & Kyle soak up more heat, but then Kyle goes out to fetch Cole at about 7. Kyle drags Cole into the ring, then stomps him down! Kyle stomps Cole more, then stalks him to ropes. Kyle JUMP STOMPS Cole down! And JUMP STOMPS again! Then he CHOKES Cole on the ropes! The ref counts, Kyle steps off, and Cole goes to a corner. Kyle soaks up heat, distracts the ref, and that lets Callis CHOKE Cole!

Callis scurries back to commentary before he’s caught, and Kyle drags Cole up. Cole fires body shots but Kyle eggs him on. Cole fires more shots, but Kyle BOOTS him down! Kyle paces while he soaks up more heat, and he checks if that’s for him or for Cole. It is for Kyle, so Kyle scoops Cole and SLAMS him! Kyle paces more while Cole writhes. Cole sits up but Kyle is on him with another scoop and SLAM! Kyle leans on the ropes while he soaks up more heat, then he goes back to Cole. Kyle rains down fists, clamps on a chinlock, and he grinds Cole down. Cole endures and fights up while Dynamite returns to single picture.

The fans rally as Cole fires body shots, only for Kyle to scoop and SLAM again! Kyle twists Cole’s wrist, scoops and SLAMS again, then eggs everyone on. The fans boo but Kyle drags Cole up. Cole fires forearms! The fans rally, but Kyle scoops and spins to SLAM! Callis says the reason Cole was outside to be hit with that apron powerbomb is because he went after Kyle outside the ring. Callis says Cole only has himself to blame. Kyle runs corner to corner, but Cole SUPERKICKS! Callis is eating his words the way Kyle ate that foot! The fans are thunderous as Cole rises up! Cole storms up to fire forearm after forearm!

Kyle shoves Cole but Cole LARIATS! And ELBOWS! And BOOTS! Kyle staggers around, Cole brings him over, but Kyle fights the fireman’s carry! Kyle runs, but Cole BOOTS him! Kyle rebounds into the fireman’s carry! USHIGOROSHI! Cover, TWO! Kyle survives but the fans rally behind Cole. Cole rises up, goes to the corner, and he climbs up to aim again. Kyle stands into the PANAMA- NO, Kyle BACKDROPS then sits down on a cover, TWO!! Cole escapes, Kyle blocks his kick, and Kyle spins Cole for a SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! Cole flounders, Kyle runs corner to corner, GAMANGIRI! And then Kyle reels Cole in, but Cole suplexes, GHOST BUSTER!!

Cole fires up, rises up, and the fans are with him! PANAMA SUNRISE!!! Kyle sputters, Cole brings down the kneepad, and Callis freaks out! But JOSH ALEXANDER is here, and he just CLOBBERS Cole!!

Winner: Adam Cole, by disqualification (still AEW TNT Champion)

Callis laughs as the Don Callis Family’s Walking Weapon beats Cole down! But Kyle doesn’t get to be TNT Champion, what good was this? Alexander BITES Cole, Callis says break Cole! Kyle & Alexander mug Cole while the fans boo and cuss Callis out! But wait! Here comes Brody King! The King of Death ahs a chair, and he runs Alexander & Kyle off! This match was to be the main event, but it might as well happen now! Will Brody bulldoze through Alexander to head for Fyter Fest? Or will the Don Callis Family still secure something good for the Summer?

AEW International Championship Qualifier: Josh Alexander w/ The Don Callis Family VS Brody King!

Dynamite returns, security standing between the Walking Weapon and King of Death, but they won’t wait any longer! Security is literally thrown aside and the bell rings! The brawl is on and the fans love it! Brody KNEES Alexander, ROCKS him, puts him in a corner, and CHOPS him! And ROCKS him! And repeat! Alexander dusts himself off, stomps Brody around, then rips the shirt away to CHOKE Brody with it! But Brody reverses to send Alexander into barriers! Brody choke grips with his off hand, and he BARRIER CHOKE SLAMS Alexander! The fans fire up and Brody CHOPS Alexander against the barrier! Alexander falls, the fans fire up, and Brody stalks Alexander around the way.

Brody brings Alexander up, ROCKS him, but that was the bad hand. The fans rally and Brody puts Alexander in the ring. Alexander BOOTS Brody, then BOOTS the arm! Winner: Brody King, by pinfall (advances to the AEW International Championship match)

The Don Callis Family had two chances tonight, failed them both, and now Brody heads for Colorado and Fyter Fest. Will The King of Death end the reign of The Best Bout Machine? Who else will join Brody and Kenny Omega in the Mile High City?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

On top of the other two International Championship qualifiers, Claudio VS Komander and Hechicero VS Mascara Dorada, we will have Mina Shirakawa VS Skye Blue! Will the Fighting Gravure Idol stay strong in the wake of losing at Double or Nothing? Plus, after the confrontation during the TNT Championship match, Paragon battles RPG Vice, but with some added names to the mix! RPG Vice bring in NEVER Openweight Champion, Konosuke Takeshita, while Roddy & Kyle conglomerate with NJPW Strong Openweight Champion, Tomohiro Ishii! Could this Six Man Tag open some doors to more golden opportunities?

Kyle Fletcher speaks.

The Protostar does not know whose call that was, whether it was Callis or Alexander, but he doesn’t care, because he does NOT need help out there, and certainly not to beat Adam Cole! He should be standing here as the NEW TNT Champion! But speaking of Cole, he comes running in and the two start throwing hands! Kyle has a GUILLOTINE FACELOCK! Security rushes out, separates the two, and Cole says Kyle is a dead man! Cole knows he had Kyle beat, but when and where will these two put the claims to rest?

Mercedes Mone heads to the ring!

The CEO struts her way out, carrying all her belts, the Owen Hart Cup on display. Mone grabs a mic and says, “El Pasooooo~! I now stand before you not only as the greatest TBS & Rev-Pro Champion of all time… But as the greatest winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament!” The fans are torn, but Mone says the legends, Owen Hart and her hero, Eddie Guerrero… The fans cheer for El Paso’s own, the late, great Latino Heat, and Mone says they do NOT compare to the greatness of Mone! That is why she is the CEO of AEW! But wait! Timeless Toni Storm makes her way out here! This face-to-face is now official as the AEW Women’s World Champion steps into the ring.

The fans cheer for Toni, and the two champions eye each other while Toni gets herself a mic. Toni kicks off the shoes and sets her belt down on the mat. Mone says, “Toni, darling, we finally meet.” The fans applaud that, and Mone says she knows these AEW fans are so sick of the black ‘n’ white. They want a champion full of color! The fans boo that, but Toni says, “Hello, Mercedes. I have waited so long for you. 441 days ago, you arrived in AEW on a show named after you. And since then, you’ve won titles, you’ve made history, and you’ve remained undefeated. But you have never once spoke to me. You have never once looked at me.

“You said that you’ve been watching me since before you even came here. You told Antony Khan that this was the one match you wanted to have. So, darling, what took you so long?” The fans cheer, and Mone says back, “What took me so long? Patience, darling, patience.” The fans boo, but Mone says this isn’t about Toni, this is about Mone and her legacy. And you think she’s going to go around backstage shaking just anybody’s hand? When Mone is the Beyonce of Women’s Wrestling? You gotta be kidding! The fans boo but Mone asks Toni, “Do you not know who I am? I am the standard, I am the conversation, I am the blueprint, I AM the revolution!”

Fans are torn, but Toni smirks as there are those who chant, “No, You’re Not! No, You’re Not!” Toni says she is the Toni Storm of Pro-Wrestling, and she swears to an unknown God that you have NEVER met anyone like her! The fans cheer that! Mone says yes, that’s right. This Toni, this “shy, nervous Toni Storm that I met ten years ago,” is very different. But so is Mone. Mone is not just a Boss, she is a CEO. She has beaten the very best from all over the world, from Mexico to Japan to England. And now at All In: Texas, Mone is bringing it home. We will have THE greatest women’s match of all time! Fans like the sound of that.

Toni says they have so many similarities. They both started so young, struggled on the indies, found success, were given trophies and flowers, and when those weren’t enough, they left it all behind to follow their hearts. And in AEW, they became exactly who they are meant to be! The fans cheer that! Mone nods, and Toni continues: There is one glaring difference. While Mone wants all the titles, Toni needs only one. Toni has lived for this title, she has cried for this title, she has bled for this title, and she has DIED for this title! The fans chant, “She’s Our Champion! Toni! Toni!” Mone is annoyed, but Toni keeps going.

“So if you want to ride the Money Train through the Toni Tunnel, I just hope you can get deep enough.” The fans cheer that! Mone says not even Toni’s hips are wide enough for the Money Train! Toni says 45 days form now, they will meet again in Texas. And somewhere in the world, a little girl with big dreams will be watching. She will say, “Holy S*IT, these b*tches are crazy!” And then, that little girl will find out who the better woman is! Toni sincerely believes Mone is the greatest of all time. But unfortunately for Mone, Toni happens to be TIMELESS~! The fans cheer that, and Mone scowls.

Mone tells Toni that Toni may call herself timeless, but what she deserves is for her time to come an end! Mone will see Toni at All In! Toni says, “See you at All In, darling.” The fans fire up as Mone puts her other belts aside to offer a handshake. Toin smiles and accepts. Then they bring each other in to stare down. Toni smells Mone, and then kisses Mone on the hand. Mone reels Toni in for a Gory Especial! Toni fights out to reel Mone in! Mone scrambles free of the driver, and the fans fire up! That was just a taste of what’s to come, but who will taste sweet victory when these two battle it out in Globe Life Field?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite to follow Double or Nothing while building to Fyter Fest and All In. Excalibur said himself that tonight paralleled Double or Nothing by bookending things with the Owen Hart Cup stories. Great opening promo from Hangman, Swerve and Ospreay. Swerve did have a good point of asking if Hangman was in cahoots with The Bucks, but we also know that’s not the case. And of course Swerve and Hangman will be at odds during this whole All In build. But just as likely, we will get a great “Avengers working together” kind of moment to finally take out the Death Riders and get that title off Moxley.

Great closing promo from Toni and Mone, with a good reference back to their time in WWE. I’m still hoping for them to put all the belts on the line so that they are truly going all in. But the tease of someone taking a finisher to the belt was good stuff. 45 days of build, who knows what else we get, but there’s also no guarantee that Mone keeps the TBS Championship. It’d be wild if someone took that title from her on the way, but it could be a point of pressure that Mone has to defend her other belts while Toni only has to worry about one.

Good debut for Thekla tonight, it was very in line with a Malakai/Aleister Black debut. Hayter seems to automatically be the woman who faces returning and debuting wrestlers and that’s not a bad spot, but it would be nice if she got to do title stuff. Great women’s tag match, and kudos to Harley fighting through a broken nose. But in the end, the Heels winning made sense when they lost at Double or Nothing. There’s talk of tag titles coming, but I don’t have faith in that when TK’s pacing of the women’s division still hasn’t improved. The current example is the poor planning he has with the ROH Women’s Pure Championship.

RIP the Frat House, their ceiling is ROH after getting crushed by The Opps. A little surprised we didn’t get Hook showing up or having a promo, but maybe that happens for Collision. The Mixed Six Tag was great stuff, and throwing Speedball in there was a little surprising until it was clear the Death Riders were winning that. Good promo from Hurt Syndicate, but every time MJF talks about “his” world title, it feels like Lashley wants to roll his eyes or something, because duh, why wouldn’t he and Shelton want their own shots at that title? If Moxley does lose at All In, and MJF goes after Hangman, you can bet MJF and Lashley butt heads again over who really gets the title match.

Good promo from Ricochet, but I wonder… Ricochet wants a crew, there’s a duo named CRU… Is Ricochet going to lead Lio & Action as a trio? And if it isn’t CRU, who would fall in line behind Ricochet? Unless that’s the point of his next story arc: failing to make a faction because he’s that insufferable. And great Don Callis Family stuff tonight. Cole VS Kyle was great, good move for Paragon to go after them, and that Six Man Tag on Collision will be fun. Alexander running out there really was confusing, not just kayfabe, but maybe they want to give Kyle an out. Kyle is great as a wrestler and a personality, fans surely will cheer for him over the rest of Callis Family, but we’ll wait and see how Cole VS Kyle 2 goes.

Alexander VS Brody was a great main event match, with great story of going after Brody’s hand. Alexander getting busted open hard way from perhaps that top rope stuff did add something. And honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised by Brody winning. Brody and Omega alone is great, but then it’ll surely be Claudio over Komander, and now Hechicero over Mascara Dorada to keep the two Faces and two Heels ratio.

My Score: 8.9/10
