There’s more in store for the Triforce Tournament!

HPW has even more planned for the road to April 1st!

The Second Triforce Tournament is the main attraction, but HPW has special plans for some spectacular sideshows! What else happens on the road to the Triforce Anniversary?

HPW Media shares an official statement from King Nicolas Foolyere!

While the field of 24 prepares for their golden opportunity in the Second Annual Triforce Tournament, some young HPW hopefuls will be looking for their own! As the Bracket of Wisdom competes on January 24th, last year’s winner and the new HPW Goddess Champion, Zelda, will compete in non-title competition! And who is the lucky lady to step to the Princess of Hyrule? It will be Riju of the Desert Flowers!

But that’s not all! On January 25th, the Bracket of Courage event, last year’s winner and current HPW Triforce Champion, Link, will be in non-title competition, as well! Who will be facing the Hero of Hyrule? It will be Skull Kid! He showed some real guts during that Trios match against the Doom Bringers, and I for one want to see what more he can bring! So I hope you’re as excited as I am to see these match-ups as well as the entire tournament!

My Thoughts:

Hooray for some exhibition matches that are clearly vehicles to story! I better hustle up, that’s two more matches to write on top of the 12 great opening round matches. Though I’m already thinking Link VS Skull Kid doesn’t have to be as serious and hard-hitting as the other matches for the Bracket of Courage article.

Along the way, the Great 8 made more history with yet another 20-goal season. At 39 years young, Ovechkin is doing things we did not think possible, and the guys contemplate his place as one of the greatest ever in NHL history. The CFP Semi-Finals delivered two electrifying battles. Patrick & Dave break all that down and look ahead to the National Championship game between Notre Dame and Ohio State. All that plus NFL news and the adventures of the Chicago Bears as they search for a new coach.

This week, the Nerds review 2024 and discuss what they felt was the best of the best in the Nerdosphere over the past year. From the best series to the best movie to the best performances and everything in between, the Nerds tell you what they felt truly stood out. There was also some big casting news: Ahsoka seems to have found the perfect man to replace the late, great Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, and the guys all feel excellent about this decision. The fellas also return to the Trailer Park to review a trailer about a pro wrestling promotion where the death matches are really to the death (Dark Match), another AI gone wrong movie (Companion), and the first real look at The Last of Us Season 2. All that and more on this week’s edition of Bandwagon Nerds.
