HPW adds more opportunities to the Second Triforce Tournament event on 3/3!

While the Second Triforce Tournament Bracket Finals are approaching, HPW has plans for a grudge match, and a golden opportunity!

Humpback Hook Halibut speaks on behalf of HPW Management.

“In relation back to the incident on January 25th between the Dark Forces and the UnderWorld Order, it cost both Volga and Hollywood ReDead their opportunity in the Triforce Tournament. However, that punishment did nothing to stop these two factions from fighting every chance they get.” Therefore, Hook announces that on March 3rd, part of the Bracket Finals event in Necluda, there will be a NO HOLDS BARRED Trios Match between The Dark Forces and the uWo! But not only that, it will be for a shot at the HPW Trios Championships! Hook wishes both teams the best of luck in this match, and tells them that this will be the end of it, regardless of the outcome, “or else.” Will both trios heed Hook’s warning? And which side wins to move on towards Forged By Violence?

My Thoughts:

Oh yes, I added more stuff for myself! I wanted to go even bigger with other teams involved, but that’d be a lot for no reason and I’ll wait to try and build the Trios Division as “year two” continues on.

On this week’s edition of Hockey Talk, Patrick is disgusted with his St. Louis Blues after they were throttled by Dave’s Washington Capitals over the weekend. As always, the guys discuss the trajectory of both their squads as we near the quarter-point of the season. Also this week, the guys discuss Tage Thompson setting a new record for the hardest shot ever fired in a game and discuss the latest additions to the Hockey Hall of Fame, including a very overdue induction for one of America’s all-time great players, Jeremy Roenick

The Bandwagon begins reviewing a different kind of show for the next few weeks. As all the guys are massive sports fans, they decided to begin watching, and reviewing, the new series on Amazon Prime, Game 7. The first Episode of the series covered one of the all-time great Game 7s, featuring one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports, the Boston Red Sox vs. the New York Yankees. In 2003, the two rivals played an epic series that could only be resolved by one of the most improbable comebacks in Game 7 history. The guys offer their own personal perspectives on that game here on this Episode. The Trailer Park got some late additions from D23 Brazil with new trailers for Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts*, along with a trailer for a possible new classic in Dear Santa. There was also news coming from D23 Brazil including the MCU possibly shifting its focus towards the X-Men, a new release schedule/ protocol for the MCU, and rumors abound of where Star Wars might be heading…and why the guys are less than enthused.
