HPW and HXS TV sets the scene!
The Second Triforce Tournament had a strong start! In some shocking turn of events, the HPW Training Center prospects, “Her Grace” Hilda and “Murusagi” Ravio, have advanced to be part of the bracket semifinals! Though perhaps with some questionable tactics… And biggest of all, a Double Disqualification Draw between Volga and ReDead takes them both out of the running, and Ravio has his bye into the Bracket of Courage Finals! The Zora Prince and Demon Lord want to tear each other apart, will there be anything left for Ravio to face?
But first, there are matches that could affect how the Triforce Anniversary card will look! Zelda challenged Link to a match for the HPW Triforce Championship, but neither is going to be sitting back and waiting for April 1st! Nabooru stepped up to challenge the Princess of Hyrule, and has her shot at the HPW Goddess Championship! Will Zelda still be going into her championship match with Link as a champion herself? Plus, Link will have a match to keep himself active, but he won’t know who his opponent is! Will the Hero of Hyrule be able to survive the luck of the draw?
Link VS ???
The Hero of Hyrule, keeping with his Hero of Old ring gear, waves and high fives fans who made it here to Mercay Island of the Lanaryu Wetlands. He goes to the ring and awaits his mystery opponent. It’s… “CAPTAIN! BOKOoOoOoOoOoBLIN~!” Really? The first person ever eliminated in the first-ever Hyrule Warriors match, and by Link, is back! But will he get payback for that quick exit at Clash of Fates?

Well that was fast! But again, this is the two-time Triforce Champion. But wait, the Doom Bringers are here! Doomknocker has a mic to speak as he, Darkhammer and Gooma head down the ramp. “Hey, champ! Congratulations and all, but seriously? HPW looked at the roster and was like, ‘Let’s use this goober to keep our top champion sharp before his big match in a couple months.’ Get outta here! And yeah, I mean that. Get outta here, ya super zero! Friggin’ dork!” Knocker kicks the ground in Bokoblin’s direction as Bokoblin exits the ringside area.
“Alright, so,” Knocker continues, “that was so quick, it was embarrassing. Embarrassing for the guy running around in a cape, embarrassing for the company that sent him out here, and embarrassing for the guy who beat him like it was worth his time.” If the champion wants to really be ready for his title challenge, he needs a real challenge! Like from someone who has been all over Hyrule, being toughened up by some of the toughest wrestlers to ever get in the ring. “AKA, me!” What does the champ say? Link looks to the referee and nods, then looks at Knocker and waves for him to head this way. Hammer and Gooma fist bump Knocker and head back, will Knocker get one over on the champion?

Bracket of Courage: Fin Balure VS Ghirahim!
The Zora Prince and Demon Lord have been waiting to fight each other since the Hyrule Warriors match back at Clash of Fates! Who will #Murusagi have to worry about in the Bracket of Courage Finals?
The bell rings and fans rally up as the two stare down. They circle, approach, tie up, and Balure gets around to waistlock. Balure throws Ghirahim down but Ghirahim is right up in a huff. They circle, tie up again, Balure wrenches to a wristlock but Ghirahim blocks with a chinbar. Balure powers through to wrench and armlock but Ghirahim gets around and rolls him, ONE! Fans cheer the technical exchange as the two men circle again. Ghirahim and Balure feel out the grapple, go with double knuckle locks, and Ghirahim wrenches one to a keylock. Ghirahim gets Balure on the mat but Balure headscissors back.
Fans cheer as Ghirahim works on an escape, using legs to pick the hold and get a headlock back. Balure powers up but Ghirahim headlock takeovers. Balure headscissors and holds tight this time. Ghirahim works to get his own headscissor counter but Balure cranks up for leverage. Balure even does push-ups just to show off! Fans cheer as Balure cranks harder. Ghirahim works on the hold again, kips out and then dropkicks Balure down! Ghirahim headlocks to a takeover again, Balure pushes at Ghirahim’s face, works his way around to roll Ghirahim, ONE! The two stand as fans rally again.
Balure throws hands, powers out but Ghirahim goes up and over in the corner and arm-drags back! Ghirahim dropkicks Balure again, and has him on the ropes. Ghirahim whips, Balure reverses but Ghirahim sunset flips. Balure rolls through but Ghirahim is ready and avoids the basement dropkick to hook a leg! Ghirahim wants the Trailerhitch but Balure flails and gets the ropebreak! Referee Tiger Sahasrahla counts, Ghirahim lets off at 4 and fans cheer the exchange again. Balure gets up, and Ghirahim CHOPS him immediately! Ghirahim wrenches the arm, snapmares Balure down then PENALTY KICKS Balure in the front! STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!
Ghirahim wrenches Balure’s arm again, but Balure knees back. Balure CLUBS Ghirahim, whips him, and elbows him down! Cover, ONE, but Balure keeps focus. Ghirahim goes to a corner, Balure throws body shots, but Ghirahim pie faces him away. Balure CHOPS Ghirahim and Ghirahim is stinging! Fans want “One More Time! One More Time!” so Balure CHOPS Ghirahim again! Ghirahim staggers along ropes and shouts, “Why does this keep happening to me?!” Balure throws forearms as they go to another corner, Balure whips Ghirahim corner to corner, and then runs in to CHOP! And then back the other way for another CHOP!
Balure whips a third time, Ghirahim reverses, and then he CHOPS Balure off his feet! Ghirahim clutches the stinging spot on his chest before going back after Balure. He pushes Balure into a corner, throws haymakers and stomps, but lets off as Sahasrahla counts. Ghirahim runs back in, Balure hops over and out to the apron, but Ghirahim blocks the swing kick and DECKS Balure with an elbow! Balure tumbles down, Ghirahim goes out to pursue, and Ghirahim whips Balure hard into barriers! Ghirahim runs over and CHOPS Balure again, right in front of fans! Ghirahim talks trash to the booing fans, CHOPS Balure again, and then brings Balure back over.
Sahasrahla’s ring count is 6 of 10, Ghirahim puts Balure in, but Balure bails back out. Ghirahim goes around the way, runs in, but into a SLINGBLADE! Fans fire up as Balure seethes and Fin Flexes! Balure KNEES Ghirahim down then puts him in the ring. Balure sits Ghirahim up and drives elbows into his shoulder over and over. Balure locks Ghirahim into a grounded cobra twist, and grinds his forearm on Ghirahim’s face like a saw! Sahasrahla reprimands, Balure lets off and then clubs Ghirahim down. Balure runs to basement dropkick Ghirahim in the back! Cover, TWO! Balure grows annoyed but the fans are still fired up!

Ghirahim holds onto ropes for dear life as Balure lifts. Ghirahim breaks free and SUPERKICKS! Balure wobbles, Ghirahim uses the corner to launch, APRON GHIRACUTTER!!
Fans are losing their minds while both men flop to the floor! Sahasrahla goes to check on them both, and somehow they’re both okay to continue. A ring count starts, Ghirahim sits up first at 3, and he clutches his back as he stands at 5. He goes into the ring at 6 just as Balure sits up. Balure slowly stands up, wobbles at 8, but he’s in at 9! Ghirahim is there waiting to PENALTY KICK him down! Ghirahim drags Balure up, inverted Gory Especial, but Balure kicks free! Balure dragon sleepers and hits the Elbow Drop DDT! Fans fire up as Balure hurries to the corner! Balure climbs, but his head is bothering him. He shakes out the cobwebs, aims at Ghirahim, but Ghirahim hits ropes to trip him up!
Fans boo but Ghirahim ignores them as he climbs up. Ghirahim throws haymakers, climbs up a bit more, but Balure hits back! Balure throws body shots, forearms, then shoves Ghirahim down! Balure adjusts, but Ghirahim springs right up! SUPER STEINER!! Balure crashes down but Ghirahim doesn’t cover! Ghirahim aims from the corner, Balure sits up, Ghirahim BLINDSIDE ELBOWS him in the head! Ghirahim isn’t done with Balure either! He watches Balure flounder up, then runs to another corner, SUPER GHIRACUTTER!! Cover, Ghirahim wins!!
Winner: Ghirahim, by pinfall (advances to the next round)
The Living Blade cuts the Zora Prince down! And now, he goes into the Bracket of Courage Finals against Ravio! Fans boo and Ghirahim gets the mic. “Aww, boo hoo~! Boo hoo~, did your boy not win? Did the little Prince let you all down~? GOOD!” They all put their faith in the wrong guy anyway! Ghirahim is the Demon LORD, so of course he’s better than a Prince, that’s how that works! “But justice was served, I got back at Balure for robbing me of the win in the Hyrule Warriors match. And now, I’m just one step away from where I should’ve been all along! The Bracket of Courage, the Triforce of Courage, then a match for THE Triforce Championship!”
And Ghirahim saw “the little princess and her knight are going to have a little date in the ring.” It doesn’t matter who wins or loses, Ghirahim’s going to cut them down! Ghirahim will get everything he deserves, it is his destiny! Will that be true in a good way or a bad way in the bracket finals?
My Thoughts:
A lot of fun putting this one together! Does the double header make Link too strong? Well, probably not, the first opponent was a jobber and then Doomknocker was good competition. I feel like Zelda VS Nabooru and Great Fairy VS Cia were good examples of veteran wrestlers from a previous generation putting over the newer generation. And if you’re thinking what I think you’re thinking for what’s going on with Yuga and Hilda, well it’s probably pretty obvious. Just wait and see how the finals for each bracket goes, and then the tournament finals itself.

Let’s Go Crazy! Let’s Get Nuts!
HyruleMania 5 approaches, and Kevin Gibdo must defend the Million Rupee Championship against Majora, who has something “special” in mind…
The Wrestling Roulette is spinning.
The wheel sits in a dark room, and the moon is visible through a round window. Majora says, “The moon goes through phases. It shows us different faces. The tides ebb and flow, going high and low, and put us through our paces. You think you can keep gambling? You think you can keep winning? You think you can survive as the wheel keeps spinning? Then let it go round ‘n’ round, round after round, and we’ll see who falls to the ground.” The wheel stops spinning, and lands on SPINNER’S CHOICE! Majora then busts through the wheel and gets right in the camera!
“Luck? Chance? Fate? Order? Chaos? W̸͉͚̫͎͎̎͗H̵͈̼̾̈́͋̅̆O̶͕̱͌͐͆̕ ̵̼̪̔̐̿̽C̶̭̫̉͘A̵̦̔̀̊͑͘Ŗ̸̡͓̘̀Ë̶̟͍̞̗́͒̀́͘͜Ş̵͎̩̹̈́͋̚͜?! What matters is victory and defeat! Controlling what you can control! And I swear that no matter what the wheel gives us, I will take that title from you! I use Spinner’s Choice to declare… MOON MADNESS!! Every three minutes, the wheel will spin and CHANGE match! Could you imagine the possibilities?! It makes my head spin!” And then his head spins!! Majora laughs maniacally, then his head stops so that it’s sideways. “There’s a fine line between genius and insanity. I’m about to cross that line, care to join me?” Majora has set the terms, will Kevin Gibdo succumb to Moon Madness?
My Thoughts:
Here I go again, trying to be really innovative and over the top. I almost thought adding stipulation on top of stipulation would work, but in many cases, there are match types that contradict each other. A peak behind the curtain of kayfabe here where I could just choose the stipulations that don’t do that, but it might also just be easier from a writing standpoint to just do away with contradictions and redundancies and just have this match constantly make left turns into new territory. Get ready for a wild ride on this one!
