The Varsity Blonds speak.

“It’s funny that the Young Bucks would mention my late father, Brian Pillman, because most would be led to believe that’s what got me into the professional wrestling business.” Brian Pillman Junior tells us that could not be further from the truth! That man was the reason he stayed AWAY from wrestling for so long! Growing up, all he ever knew was the dark side of the ring, until he met the Young Bucks. A couple of good guys, family men, who showed BPJ that this could be down the right way, that he could succeed and fulfill his destiny. The Bucks are why the Blonds are here.

Griff Garrison says that in September of 2018, he was at a local show and was asked to run the Bucks’ merchandise table. He was so overcome with joy just to be around those guys. Fast forward a couple years, Griff is in AEW and realizes those aren’t the same guys. What the Bucks need is a reality check. And that will be in the form of the Varsity Blonds winning those AEW World Tag Team Championships! BPJ says it is such a shame that the Bucks had to go back to their old ways. We’ve heard that story, seen that movie before. But what you haven’t seen before is the story of BPJ, Griff Garrison, and the former national champion, Julia Hart, and they will not stop until the achieve their destinies! Will Bulletproof and the Ivy League MVP make sure the Bucks stop here?

Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston speak.

“We gotta be making some kind of a dent in this tag team division.” They’ve already been on Dark, Elevation and Dynamite against The Acclaimed. Are those boys any good? Kingston knows one’s a rapper. Really? Yeah, and the other is his friend. Oh, fantastic. Then they’ll do to The Acclaimed what they’ve to every other team so far! Wait, is that inviting them to a Superkick Party? Kingston isn’t even sure what that is, since neither of them throws a good superkick. Do they have to throw such kicks to go to such parties? Well, that’s not where they’re going anyway. This is not that. Tony Khan’s all about analytics, numbers. They gotta beef up the record, so they’re gonna beat the brakes off these boys!

The Acclaimed also speak.

“Yo, yo! Listen!” Anthony Bowens says they are pissed! Eddie Kingston from the bodega? Lunatic Cringe, Jon Moxley? They’re invading The Acclaimed’s space, they’re invading The Acclaimed’s tag division! Bowens isn’t sure if they’re dizzy from ramming trucks into trailers, but The Acclaimed are ranked higher! If Mox & Kingston want a shot at the tag titles, they have to go through The Acclaimed! And they won’t, because The Acclaimed will stomp their asses out! “And that right there is a mic drop! Boom!”

The Acclaimed VS Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston!

Max Caster & Anthony Bowens debuted an all new track and music video, All Talk, on last night’s Dark to diss the Maniac and the Mad King. And now, Platinum Max has a new rap to diss them directly! “Acclaimed is the Paradigm Shift. These two guys exchanged Valentine’s gifts. Yo, Eddie, why you dressed like it’s ’04? You look like a box o’ New Ports! And Mox, you’re outta your element. I’mma knock you out with this mic like Omega did! Call your girl, she’s all in mah mentions! Trying to hit me up for some oral sessions.” What? He meant the podcast! The Acclaimed have arrived, but will Moxley & Kingston prove The Acclaimed are the ones that are all talk?

Speaking of, the second Bowens gets in, Moxley DECKS him! Kingston dares Cater to do something then fires off hands! The bell rings to get this on record, Moxley drags Bowens out to RAM him into railing, Kingston CHOPS Caster and snapmares to KICK him! Kingston fish hooks Caster’s face and puts him in a corner. Kingston hops up but Caster throws a throat chop and a SUPER DRAGON SCREW! Kingston clutches his leg and Caster drags him over as AEW goes picture in picture.

The ref reprimands, Bowens stops to stomp Kingston, then drags Kingston up for a CHOP of his own! Kingston hobbles to a corner, Bowens CHOPS him again, but Kingston tries to claw him back. Bowens throws forearms, goes after the bad leg but the ref counts. Kingston swings but falls over, Bowens covers, TWO! Bowens drags Kingston away, tags Cater back in and Caster stomps Kingston. Caster taunts Mox, hits a GROUND DRAGON SCREW on Kingston, then stomps him more. Caster rains down fists, the ref reprimands but Caster lets off.

Bowens CHOPS again, Kingston CHOPS back! Bowens sucker punches Moxley then gets around Kingston to kick his bad leg! Kingston is in a corner, Bowens runs in and blocks the boot! Bowens CLUBS the leg, JAMS it, then hits a DRAGON SCREW of his own! Kingston is down as AEW returns to single picture. Caster soaks up the heat and Bowens ties up the legs into an Inverted Cloverleaf, aka The Price of Fame! Moxley gets in and stomps Bowens!

The ref reprimands Moxley but Kingston is free. Caster stomps Kingston while the ref is busy with Moxley, but he barely gets away with it. The wild ones just took out the NUMBER THREE team in the AEW Tag Division! Will they be poised to face The Young Bucks at Double or Nothing for the titles? That is, if the Bucks are still golden by then?

Backstage interview with Chris Jericho.

Alex Marvez apologizes for interrupting as Dean Malenko checks out Jericho’s injured arm, but we need a scoop: Is the Inner Circle accepting the challenge for Stadium Stampede 2? Well, Jericho appreciates Marvez’s initiative, but he’ll have to wait just like everyone else. They will say later on, but Marvez should get going. Don’t want to make the Man of 1000 Holds angry. Marvez goes and Malenko reminds Jericho he had four more than him. Yeah but Jericho’s forgotten them. What will The Inner Circle have to say to The Pinnacle’s high stakes challenge?

Tony Schiavone interviews Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page in the ring.

The Face of the Revolution and All Ego have been making quite the impact both before and during Darby Allin’s TNT Champion. Scorpio says that when he was a child, Sting was everything he loved about pro-wrestling. Sting was everything good about the business! And just like all the other Stingers, Scorpio wanted to be just like him. “And then something happened: time. I don’t have to tell you, because you already know. You are not the same man you used to be,” Sting. And Scorpio isn’t a kid. He is a grown man warning Sting to step aside or be put down!

Ethan adds that he can finish this so Schiavone can go. Scorpio has already proven he can put Sting down when he put on that heel hook and made him miss a week! And on that same week he missed, Ethan threw Darby down stone steps! And then what happened after that? Darby lost his title! They can’t take full credit, because Miro is going to be one hell of a TNT Champion. But Darby, just know it was a little bit Ethan’s fault! Ethan knows how much that title means to Darby, calling it his “lifeblood!” That it means the world to him! So Ethan is going to take all of that away from Darby! Ethan is a man of his word, and he promises to be the nail in Darby’s coffin!

But the lights go out, and when they come back up, there’s the snow, the crow, and STIIIIIING~! The Icon stares down the bullies, goes right to the ring, and Darby appears from behind! Darby uses his skateboard to SMACK Scorpio, JAM Ethan, and Sting joins in with fists and stomps! Fans are thunderous as Sting hits Scorpio with a corner clothesline! Darby and Ethan scrap while Sting bumps Scorpio off buckles, and uses the skateboard to SMACK Scorpio in the ribs! Darby tackles Ethan back down to fire off more hands! Sting and Darby loom over Scorpio, and then here comes the Scorpion Deathlock! Darby CLOBBERS Ethan with his skateboard!

Scorpio endures the hold, taps out, but there won’t be anything that stops this! Darby glares at Ethan and plays defense until Sting is satisfied! Sting lets Scorpio go so he can retreat with Ethan! This is not over, because the Dark Order comes out to block the tunnels! Ethan and Scorpio run away through the crowd, but when will Darby and Sting look to break the Face of the Revolution and deflate Ethan’s ego?

The Pinnacle sits down for a fancy dinner.

Wardlow tells the waiter to leave the bottle, and then just chugs wine right from it! He wants another! MJF says Jericho is so funny and witty. Has anyone ever told him that? With his third grade humor, it is so great! Hahaha, Pineapple, not Pinnacle! MJF is My Jerkoff Friend! HAHAHA! Let’s just spray them with the Bubbly! So great, Chris, really. So good! MJF hopes that makes Jericho laugh and laugh and laugh. Because for the first time in Jericho’s career, he is dealing with a guy who always gets the last laugh.

Dax Harwood asks The Inner Circle if they think this is enjoyable for The Pinnacle. Do they think it’s fun to beat them up? No! The Pinnacle, the absolute best group in the world, should be chasing championships! They should be building a legacy! The foundation of what AEW is by being The Pinnacle, but they can’t because they’re dealing with The Inner Circle! It is embarrassing that Jericho is still making a mockery of the sport Dax’s family loves! Last year’s Stadium Stampede was a dog ‘n’ pony show! But this year, The Pinnacle is in control! It won’t be an SNL skit romcom comedy. This will be serious!

Speaking of serious, Shawn Spears wants a refill but the waiter is getting everyone else first, so he grabs the waiter to smoosh his face into a plate! Spears says he wants his drink already! Tully has Spears calm down, so he spares the waiter. Tully tosses the waiter a wad of cash and says that should cover it. MJF says if The Inner Circle decides to do Stadium Stampede 2, they need to understand it will be their last match. “Because when you’re in the Pinnacle, you’re always on top.” Will Jericho and his team take this warning into consideration when deciding on Double or Nothing?

Hikaru Shida VS Rebel w/ Britt Baker!

The AEW Women’s World Champion knows she’ll be facing The Doctor at Double or Nothing. But if somehow, by someway (probably nefariously and with help from Britt), Rebel were to win here tonight, could things drastically change before Memorial Day? Well, probably not, but they could! Will the Full Metal Warrior be ready for anything up Britt’s proverbial sleeves?

The bell rings and Shida circles with Rebel. Rebel shoves Shida and pretends her leg is still bad, but Shida stomps her down! Britt protests, the ref counts as they end up on ropes, and Shida lets off. Rebel does jumping jacks behind the ref’s back just to mock Shida! Shida shoves the ref aside, and Rebel kicks low! Rebel does a dance, Shida shoves her! Rebel swings, Shida blocks the punch to ROCK Rebel! Shida gets Rebel by her legs, and drops an elbow on one! And then another elbow! Britt coaches Rebel but Shida snatches the glove! Shida puts on the glove to send a message to Rebel, and she goes after Rebel’s arms! Britt gets the title belt!!

The ref sees Britt, she and Shida argue, but Rebel has her crutch! CRUTCH SHOT to Shida’s back! Rebel brings Shida up and around to suplex, for a SLAM! Cover, TWO! Shida is still in this and Rebel kicks, but Shida blocks it! Shida KICKS the leg, and again! Then she hits a SIT-OUT SHINBREAKER! And then the STRETCH MUFFLER!! Rebel endures, Shida just pulls harder, and now she taps!

Winner: Hikaru Shida, by submission

If Rebel didn’t need that crutch, she might now! But now Britt attacks Shida! The ref gets Britt to stop but Britt gets the belt! The ref is busy with Rebel as Britt lines up a shot, CURB STOMP to the belt! Britt picks the belt up from under Shida, and holds it over her! Will the AEW Women’s World Championship soon belong to Britt Baker, DMD?

AEW shares exclusive post-show footage from last week!

Kenny Omega uses his EVP authority to check in on Orange Cassidy in the trainer’s room. Best Friends and Kris Statlander stood in his way, and Don Callis asked they take it easy. Cassidy says it was alright, so his friends exited. Omega has the doc stay while they talk. “Rough night at the office, huh?” Omega asks if Cassidy even remembers what happened that night. Callis has the footage of what happened to Cassidy, specifically Cassidy taking that wicked powerbomb from Pac. Omega doesn’t want to rub salt in the wound, but he knows AEW values Cassidy’s talent. This isn’t just the champion speaking, but an EVP.

AEW needs Cassidy to be the mascot! Not so much the main-eventer challenging for the title. So to show that they care, the legal team drew up a little something just for this. Callis says that sometimes, a company has to protect the talent from themselves. Cassidy is a warrior, but someone has to be there to tell him to stop. So here’s the deal. A simple legal document that has Cassidy give up his right to challenge Omega at Double or Nothing because of injury, and then gets his dream match with Omega down the line. If Cassidy would, just sign on the dotted line so that- Cassidy tears the contract nice and slow! And then into more pieces.

Okay, okay, Cassidy isn’t right in the head. Omega wants to explain this to him. “Think about what happened with that powerbomb. What went wrong? Nothing. That’s just the level of talent in the upper echelon of AEW. That’s just the level of talent that lives at the top. And what’s gonna happen on a Pay-Per-View main event, if I pick you up onto my shoulders, and I drive you down with the One Winged Angel? I’m not gonna hold back. In fact, the damage that I do to you could be worse than that powerbomb ever could.” Omega could injure Cassidy, maybe end his career, or heck, even end his life. And no one wants that.

So Callis has a back-up copy for Cassidy. They don’t want him 10 years from now not even remembering his wife and kids’ names. So just listen. Don’t rip it, sleep on it, if he is able to sleep. Maybe just think it over. They say this because they care. Callis and Omega leave, but what will Cassidy’s response be seven days later?

The Inner Circle heads to the ring!

Jericho leads the way as he, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager are here to answer The Pinnacle’s challenge. Jericho soaks up the fans singing Judas for him before Ortiz speaks. “Everybody’s been asking. Everybody wants to know: What’s the Inner Circle gonna do about the Pinnacle?” Ortiz’s answer is, talk is cheap! He wants to FIGHT! Sammy cannot agree with him more. Pinnacle, Sammy said it before and he’ll say it now. So long as both groups are in the company, this won’t ever end! Sammy could jump off the top and hit a Shooting Star onto someone’s head, or he soaks them with Bubbly ever week, this won’t end until they have this match!

The Pinnacle calls themselves the best? They ain’t nothing more than a bunch of clowns! Especially last week, flopping around like dumbass fish in cheap-ass suits! Sammy’s answer is obvious! Hager says there is no choice! Since day one of Dynamite, the Inner Circle said they are the baddest! The consequences of not accepting are far worse! If they don’t, then they’re no better than The Pinnacle! Cowards and mediocre! And while The Pinnacle tries so hard to be The Inner Circle, Hager promises them, “The last thing we want is to be a bunch of schoolgirl bitches like you!”

Jericho finally speaks, and says all they have had great things to say. The Bubbly was great, too, right? It was all to get The Pinnacle’s attention, since they have their heads so far up each other’s asses, they can’t hear very well. But what Jericho heard loud and clear was the challenge for Stadium Stampede 2, and how the stipulation is, if The Inner Circle loses, they have to break up forever. Jericho wonders if it’s worth it. Was Blood & Guts worth it? The toll that it took on all ten men. The physical beatings, the parts of themselves they left behind that they’ll never get back. Buckets of blood, a pound of flesh, and pieces of their souls that will never come back. Was it worth it?!

No one will forget that night, especially Jericho. He’ll never be the same again because of MJF. “Max, you hurt me bad. And I’m not just talking the physical hurt. I’m not just talking the dislocated elbow, because eventually it will heal. Eventually, it will get better. What won’t get better, what won’t go away, is the mental image that I have of you throwing me off the top of the cage. The most terrifying moment of my life. Time stood still, I felt like I was falling for hours. And when I landed, my head almost hit the back of that stage, and if that would’ve happened, it would’ve been game over for Jericho! So was it worth it?!”

MJF scared Jericho’s family, children, and every single person who watched two weeks ago! Was it worth it?! Was it worth putting his body through it? Putting his family through it?! Was it?! The only answer Jericho has is when he thinks of the revenge he’ll get on MJF. YES, it was 1000% worth it! Jericho has the fire to knock MJF’s teeth down his throat, break his nose and punch him in the face over and over and over again! So if The Pinnacle wants an answer, whether The Inner Circle accepts, it is 1000% YES!! Fans fire up hearing that! “And if you beat us, if we can’t beat The Pinnacle… If we can’t beat the Pinnacle after all we’ve been through, we don’t deserve to be together anymore!”

But Jericho vows that won’t happen, because they told The Pinnacle before: “You’re going to have to kill us if you want to beat us, and we’re still alive!” Santana returns next week and he’ll show you he’s still alive! So at Stadium Stampede 2, HELL is coming for The Pinnacle! May 30th, Double or Nothing, The Inner Circle dances all over The Pinnacle’s faces, and pisses all over their graves! Will this next chapter in the war for dominance be its last?

Schiavone interviews Jade Cargill.

The hottest signee in AEW is still without a manager, has she made a decision? She is tired of repeating herself! She’s her own boss, she doesn’t- Mark Sterling shows up and wants to make sure Jade knows that he doesn’t want her to work for him! He doesn’t? No, he will work for her! The other managers in AEW, from Vickie Guerrero to Matt Hardy, they represent other women so that’d be a conflict of interest, and Taz named it all after himself! This is going to be Team Jade, and he will bring her brand to the top! Two weeks in a row, a stand-up with Schiavone? Where’s the sit-down with Good Ol’ JR?

Jade sees his point. What’s his name again? Mark Sterling. Well what he won’t do is come in here and interrupt her TV time. So what she needs to do is have him exit stage left, and maybe she’ll think on it. He does as asked and Jade asks who even is Mark Sterling. Will Mark be in the running? Or has Jade already made her decision?

Velvet KICKS a leg out, runs, but Deeb follows to CHOP BLOCK the leg! Deeb has the arm again, and the leg, to SMASH the knee over and over and over! SERENITY NOW!! Velvet taps, Deeb wins!!

Winner: Serena Deeb, by submission (still NWA Women’s World Champion)

One hell of a fight from Velvet, but she just didn’t have enough to take this title from Deeb! When and where will this title be defended again? And who will it be against?

PAC is furious backstage!

The Bastard is right outside The Elite’s private room as he demands Marvez and the cameraman stay. “Listen to me! I am sick and tired of getting robbed of opportunity in this company. You saw what they tried last week, didn’t ya? But they failed.” And now Pac has his match, and there’s nothing Kenny or Don or the Bucks or any of the elitists can do about it. So then, Pac asks Marvez: “At Double or Nothing, what fool bets against The Bastard now, huh? HUH!?” Whether Cassidy is still in it or not, will Pac make sure he and Omega pay for the powers at be holding him back?

Anthony Ogogo w/ The Factory VS Austin Gunn w/ Cody Rhodes & Arn Anderson!

Britain’s Olympic bronze medalist boxer quite literally threw the first punch, and added insult to injury by running down the United States. Cody vows to be the American Dream at Double or Nothing and make Ogogo eat his words, but will The Son of a Gunn get his shots in first?

The bell rings and Ogogo turns around into Austin’s SHOTGUN dropkick! Austin fires off hands, bumps Ogogo off buckles and throws hands over and over! QT Marshall sneers as Ogogo puts up his guard. Austin whips, Ogogo reverses, but Austin goes up and over. Things speed up, Austin jukes Ogogo to trip him up! And then he hits a THROWBACK! Ogogo staggers, Austin goes to hip toss but Ogogo blocks, to hit the BODY SHOT! That liver shot has taken down opponents in an instant, but Austin manages to survive! Cody and Arn coach Austin over to their side, but Ogogo waits on him to stand. Austin is on noodle legs, he gets ANOTHER BODY SHOT!

Ogogo grins but has some blood on his cheek. Ogogo just smiles as he looms over Austin, spitting up some blood of his own! The ref checks on Austin, and Austin tells him to let the match continue! Austin flounders up, his blood gets on Ogogo so Ogogo pushes him down. Ogogo sits Austin up, stands him up, and reels him in to POP-UP RIGHT HOOK!! Austin is OUT, Ogogo wins!

Winner: Anthony Ogogo, by referee stoppage

In other words, a knockout in the first! Cody checks on Austin, but Ogogo snatches his stars ‘n’ stripes! Cody sees that, Ogogo throws it back at him, and Cody catches it before it hits the ground. Arn takes the flag for Cody as he stares down Ogogo. Ogogo has The Factory backing him up, and they head out. Ogogo warns Cody to keep his hands up, but will Cody put Ogogo down?

Backstage interview with Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian.

They can’t be SoCal Uncensored or even The Addiction anymore, as they lost to The Young Bucks last week. An end of an era, but what about Daniels’ cryptic tweet from last week, simply saying, “That might be all?” What does the future hold for these two? Daniels has Marvez move aside so that he can shake hands with Kaz. Daniels says he loves Frankie, and whispers something else, before walking off camera. Kaz says he doesn’t have the words or the time to explain what Daniels has meant to him, both professionally and personally. “Whatever path CD chooses to take, he’s earned the right to take that path.”

As for Kaz, he knows exactly what path he is on. Kaz lost so much more than just a match last week. He lost a part of himself and it was taken from him. He isn’t just blaming Matt & Nick Jackson. Hell, the Bucks might lose the titles tonight! But Kaz is blaming Gallows & Anderson, Kenny Omega, and even Don Callis, Michael Nakazawa and Brandon Cutler. As far as Kaz is concerned, they’re all at fault! Kaz is going to hunt down every member of The Elite, make them learn about loss and know what it feels like to have their hearts ripped out of their chests! Kaz will have his recompense or die trying! Kaz is a bomb you can’t defuse and a gun you can’t unload. That is not a promise, that is not a threat, that is GOSPEL, according to Frankie Kazarian!

Sammy Guevara returns while AEW is picture in picture.

The Spanish God has his cue cards again to give another message. “Overconfidence precedes carelessness. When you’re The Pinnacle, you’re always overconfident! And last week, you were definitely careless. You made a challenge, you also made a mistake! Only the dead truly know the end of war. The Inner Circle is far from dead! This war is far from over! At Double or Nothing, The Inner Circle VS The Pinnacle, Stadium Stampede II! This time, there will be no surrender! We will not be defeated! We have homefield advantage! And some unfinished business. See you on the field, boys.”

Miro is here!

The NEW AEW TNT Champion, The Best Man, is back to address everyone properly after his win last week. “First and foremost, I want to thank Jesus Christ for protecting me. Also I want to thank Jesus Christ for giving me strength, power and more aggression than everybody else so I could destroy everybody!” That is Miro’s talent. But that isn’t Darby’s talent, is it? After he talked all that crap, Miro beat Darby up so bad, he took what Darby said could never be taken. And now everyone knows that it doesn’t matter if you’re the baddest man on earth, or the hottest thing in AEW, if you have what Miro wants, it’s done!

Miro says Darby disrespected him, but he forgives him as a reasonable man. All Darby has to do is go home, make another gritty student video, and- Fans chant, “We Want Darby!” but Miro says Darby’s right here. He holds up the TNT Championship and chuckles. Miro is champion now, and no one will stop him! That’s why, next week on Dynamite, someone’s getting an opportunity for MIRO’s TNT Championship, and he will make sure he destroys that someone over and over and over again! But here comes Lance Archer! Jake the Snake tries to keep the Murderhawk Monster from going to the ring, so Archer just tells Miro to “shut the hell up!”

Archer hears Miro talking about hurting people. Archer was the beast of All Elite while Miro was trying to have a day all to himself. Miro doesn’t even understand the history of that title! One year ago, Archer and Cody Rhodes stood in the ring and fought for the first-ever TNT Championship. Archer didn’t leave the winner then, but he’ll be damned if on May 30th, 2021, he doesn’t walk out the NEW TNT Champion. Miro, honestly, Archer is happy you won, because now they get to give the people the monster fight they haven’t seen since Godzilla VS King Kong. And from one big bad son of a bitch to another, Archer can’t wait until they beat the hell out of each other!

At Double or Nothing, in front of a sold out crowd, Archer vows to put Miro’s ass in the ground, hold that belt over his head, and make Miro into a Bulgarian bitch! Oh, wow, that hurts so much, Murderhawk. Miro’s never heard that before. But Miro finds it funny Archer is “the monster” but he has an old man holding him back. When Miro wanted the title, nothing held him back! But next time, Archer better pray to God Jake doesn’t get any closer than this! Because no amount of yoga is gonna save Jake’s life! As far as the Murderhawk goes, everybody dies, and that’s true! But Miro insists Archer goes first! What happens when Double or Nothing becomes the war of the monsters?!

BREAKING NEWS for Friday Night Dynamite!

Miro is right, there will be a challenger for his TNT Championship that night! Top Flight’s Angel Dorado, Dante Martin, steps up to The Best Man! But will Miro make Dante into a real angel just to make his point? And we’re getting a rematch from all the way back at All In, when Joey Janela and Hangman Page go 1v1! And for the tale of the tape, Cody Rhodes and Anthony Ogogo will have an official live weigh-in! Then, Jade Cargill issues an open challenge! Who will step up to the storm that is #ThatBitch?

And, knowing full well that Double or Nothing could be their last night together, Chris Jericho and his team will hold “A Celebration of The Inner,” to look back at their already storied two years together. Plus, the Dark Order OG, Evil Uno & Stu Grayson, look to humble Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page 2v2, while Darby returns to in-ring action against the Beautiful Brazilian V8, Cezar Bononi! And before she faces Britt Baker with the title on the line, Hikaru Shida celebrates ONE FULL YEAR as AEW Women’s World Champion!

And as we saw, Orange Cassidy has a decision to make in regards to the AEW World Championship match! Will Freshly Squeezed still throw caution to the wind and be part of the Triple Threat of AEW’s “upper echelon?” Plus, information on the Casino Battle Royal and Buy-In matches, all at a special start time of 10 PM Eastern, still on TNT!

Speaking of Double or Nothing…!

Another match has just been added to the already stacked night! Sting & Darby Allin will take on Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky in a tag team match! The first in-ring match for The Icon since coming to AEW, will he show All Ego & the Face of the Revolution that he is STILL that man they grew up admiring?

And the full Casino Battle Royal field is known! Jungle Boy, Matt Sydal, The Varsity Blonds, The Acclaimed, Penta El Zero M, Lee Johnson, Dustin Rhodes, Will Hobbs, The Factory’s QT Marshall and Nick Comoroto, The Dark Order’s Evil Uno, Colt Cabana and Preston Vance, the Hardy Family Office’s Private Party, Blade and Hardy himself, as well as Christian Cage and of course, a WILD CARD! Paul Wight will be joining commentary for this big match, but who comes out the ace headed for the AEW World Championship?

AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Young Bucks VS Varsity Blonds w/ Julia Hart!

Matt & Nick Jackson were highly respected by young wrestlers and tag teams, just like Griff Garrison & Brian Pillman Jr. But joining their old friends, going back to their old ways and becoming even worse than they used to be has lost them all of that respect and admiration. Will it lose them their titles at the same time? Or will they make Griff & BPJ look more like JV tonight?

As if to add insult to injury, Brandon Cutler scoops up the streamers so the wrestlers ringside don’t get to have them. Nick gives that headband that’s more a cross between a dead cockatiel and a Furby pelt to Michael Nakazawa to wear with his headset. The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if the Bucks’ attitudes cost them the gold to close out Dynamite!

Nick and Griff start, and the two circle. They tie up, Griff shoves Nick down and flexes those Ivy League MVP muscles. They tie up again, Griff puts Nick in a corner but Nick avoids the clothesline. Things speed up, and Griff BOOTS Nick down! Matt tags in but Griff sends him into BPJ’s haymaker! Matt pinballs between the Blonds, Griff BOOTS him down, too! Tag to BPJ, BPJ runs to clotheslines and CHOP Nick! The Blonds send the Bucks at each other, the Bucks do-si-do, but into dropkicks! The Bucks bail out and the fans fire up with The Blonds! BPJ and Griff mock the Bucks’ pose and that pisses the Bucks off!

Nick gets in but trips on the ropes and falls on his face! Nick staggers up, BPJ clotheslines him back out! BPJ then watches as Nick throws a fit and kicks the railing, only to hurt his foot! Brandon massages Nick’s foot while Matt gets in, but BPJ hip tosses him! Then arm-drags! BPJ has the armlock and fans fire up as he shifts through to a wristlock! BPJ gets Matt up, wrenches, YANKS the arm, and tags Griff. Griff CLUBS the arm, wrenches  and whips, BPJ tags in, and Griff gets Matt up for BPJ to dropkick him down! Cover, TWO! BPJ keeps Matt down with a chinlock, shifts to a facelock and wrench, then YANKS the arm! Tag to Griff, he hops up and drops an elbow on the elbow!

Griff scoops Matt and SLAMS him! Tag to BPJ, and BPJ slingshot sentons but onto knees! Matt gets up to handspring and headscissor Griff, Nick runs in to dropkick Griff down! The fans boo but the Bucks soak up the heat. Matt kicks and whips BPJ out of the ring and onto the ramp! Tag to Nick, Nick climbs and Matt helps him go Old School, to then leap and DOUBLE STOMP BPJ! Then Nick LEAPS to take down Griff! Nick smiles as he and Matt regroup to strike their pose together. They drag BPJ up and Nick bulldog hotshots him down! The ref check son BPJ as he falls against steel stage! Nick dares BPJ to get up as AEW goes picture in picture.

Nick goes up the ropes as BPJ stands, and Nick jumps to drop ax handles! BPJ writhes on the ramp, Nick pretends to be the Macho Man, and he gets BPJ up and into the ring with a toss! Nick stomps BPJ, shows off the Nike Diors, tags in Matt and Matt stomps BPJ down. Matt clubs away, drops elbows, and brings BPJ back up. BPJ throws body shots and a CHOP! BPJ scoops but his back won’t let him finish! Matt CLUBS BPJ back down, drags him back up, and gets him to the top rope. Matt throws hands, positions BPJ just right, then climbs up to join him. BPJ fights back, sends Matt staggering, and leaps, but Matt avoids the crossbody! BPJ flops and Matt swaggers about.

Matt gets BPJ up, tags Nick in, and they combine for the slingshot leg drop BACKBREAKER! Cover, but Griff breaks it! Matt protests but then fakes the tag with Nick! Matt chokes BPJ on the ropes! The ref reprimands, Matt tags Nick back in, and Nick scrapes BPJ’s face on ropes! Nick puts BPJ in a corner to whip him corner to corner hard, and BPJ bounces off buckles to hit the mat! Matt mocks BPJ’s pain, Nick whips BPJ the other way and just as hard! BPJ again hits the mat, Nick double guns and then stomps BPJ. AEW returns to single picture as Nick gets BPJ up. Nick whips BPJ again, BPJ goes up and CROSSBODIES! Direct hit and fans fire up!

BPJ and Nick are both down, they both crawl, and they both hot tag! Matt runs in but Griff rallies on the Bucks! Elbows and clotheslines, a BIG back drop for Nick! Back body block to Nick, Ivy League level SPLASH on Matt! Griff whips Matt into Nick, then runs in to SPLASH them both! Griff keeps going, DOUBLE SPEAR!! The Bucks bail out and fans are thunderous as Griff FLIES!! Direct hit and the Bucks go down! The Blonds fire up with the fans and Griff puts Matt in. Matt kicks but it’s blocked, ROLLING ELBOW to a FLYING CLOTHESLINE! Griff covers, TWO! Griff keeps his cool as fans rally up behind the Blonds!

Griff tags BPJ, they coordinate and get Matt up, but Nick anchors BPJ! Mat throws hands and Griff falls, then Nick slingshots in to go up and around and PENALTY KICK Griff from the apron! Matt SUPERPLEXES BPJ! Matt soaks up the heat from the fans and their peers at ringside as he tags Nick. The Bucks have BPJ alone, Nick PENALTY KICKS him! Matt PENALTY KIKCS him! Nick kicks, Matt kicks, repeat! BPJ starts pushing back! BPJ blocks Nick’s superkick to send it into Matt, then SUPERKICKS Nick! Cover, Matt breaks it! Fans rally for BPJ, Nick swings into his waistlock! Matt tags before the O’Conner Roll, sunset flip to a SHARPSHOOTER!

BPJ endures as Matt sits deep on the hold! Brandon distracts the ref, Nick gets BPJ with the cold spray right in his eyes!! Griff BOOTS Matt down! Nick SUPERKICKS Griff! The hold is broken and Nick pretends his leg is hurting. Brandon gets Matt the can of spray but Julia points it out! The ref sees that and Matt tries to apologize! But they have a spare! He sprays Julia!! But BPJ gets Matt in a cradle! TWO!!! Matt SUPER- NO! BPJ blocks, but Matt blocks his kick! Matt trips BPJ, and puts the SHARPSHOOTER back on!! BPJ endures, Nick DECKS Griff! Slingshot FACEBUSTER!! Then handspring MOONSAULT onto Griff! BPJ taps, the Bucks win!!

Winners: The Young Bucks, by submission (still AEW World Tag Team Champions)

Callis claims he’ll go make sure the Bucks are okay, and Brandon goes to use cold spray but they used it all cheating! Matt & Nick still have the gold, and now Moxley & Kingston are here! The Bucks try to reason with them, but no dice! Moxley and Kingston fire off on Matt and Nick! Kingston is even BITING Nick! Moxley spins Matt around for the SLEEPER! Kingston puts one on Nick!! The Bucks are passing out!! Fans chant, “You Deserve It!” And Kingston snatches Nick’s Nikes! Same for Moxley to Matt!

And this just in! With SCU no more and both the Blonds and Acclaimed having lost tonight, Moxley & Kingston are the NEW #1 contenders, and will face the Bucks for the belts at Double or Nothing!! Will the titles just be golden icing on the cake for the beatdown they’ll be serving the Bucks?

My Thoughts:

This was a wild, awesome episode! It almost felt like it should’ve been the go-home, but that’s next week. With NBA taking over TNT next week, Dynamite goes to Friday at a special time and promises it will be live to kick off Double or Nothing weekend. That night will surely be big with what they advertised for it, but I don’t think it’ll be quite as jam-packed as tonight was. Christian VS Sydal was very good, and it makes sense for Team Taz to come after Christian and Hangman to go after them. Team Taz stands tall now, because I’m pretty sure they all end up losing to Christian and Hangman in their respective matches.

We got good promos from The Acclaimed and Moxley-Kingston before their match, as well as another strong rap from Caster. The match was very good, but it was clear Moxley & Kingston were going to win because how The Bucks challenged them to a match at Double or Nothing. The Varsity Blonds also had a very good promo, and we got an awesome main event with them and the Bucks. Similarly, we knew The Bucks would win because they’re going to face Moxley & Kingston, but now the titles will be on the line to up that match. I suppose the cheating the Elite did works to get The Bucks Heel Heat while also keeping the Varsity Blonds strong so they can come back around one day. Kingston stealing the Nikes was hilarious, too. I’m not sure if him wearing them or selling them would be funnier for story.

I like that Omega is doubling down on him disrespecting Orange Cassidy as a contender. Him trying to give Cassidy an out is really so he has a way out of the Triple Threat, but we already know that Cassidy will say no next week. Pac had a good promo tonight, too, and Kazarian saying he’s going to hunt The Elite down already implies that maybe he gets involved next week or at Double or Nothing. Kaz getting involved could even allow Omega to retain because Kaz argues with Pac and Omega capitalizes. Kaz’s line about Daniels having earned whatever choice he makes next is true, Daniels could stay in AEW or retire completely, and no one could judge him for it.

Ethan & Scorpio had a great promo and the attack from Darby & Sting was great, too. I actually like that we’re getting a traditional match for these two teams, but that means Darby will surely be doing the most work for his team. Sting probably gets a hot tag but could still end up losing, since he and Darby won the cinematic back at Revolution. Shida VS Rebel was of course so Britt could stand tall here. But Shida is having her anniversary celebration next week before the PPV, so Britt probably defies math and wins anyway. Serena VS Velvet was awesome, but it makes sense Serena retains. Thunder Rosa wants to get both belts, so this all goes in line with her taking the belts from her rivals in Britt and Serena on the road to All Out.

Ogogo VS Austin was exactly what it should’ve been with the body shots and the blood, as well as Ogogo talking some trash to Cody. Having a weigh-in next week is clearly just for show, as was the previous AEW weigh-in, I believe. I think it would make more sense if they had a tense press conference segment because those happen with boxing and UFC/MMA all the time. Miro and Archer had good promos, though Miro using Jesus in his was a bit surprising. Miro will definitely squash Dante Martin, and we’re going to get an awesome match of Miro and Archer at Double or Nothing. I can’t call it, because Miro just got this belt but Archer lost last year and he has to win something. Flip a coin then tell it to shut up, we’re getting a show stealer here.

The Casino Battle Royal field looks good, and I can’t wait to see who the mystery entry is this year. A new signee they’ve kept under wraps? Someone returning? It’s always something exciting, I can’t wait. The Pinnacle had a really good dinner table promo, a lot of subtleties I am sure I missed, and that is what makes them a great group already. The Inner Circle’s response promos were great, Stadium Stampede II will be great, and this is another case of flipping the coin then ignoring the result because this is going to be too awesome to call.

My Score: 9.4/10

AEW’s back in the Good Land!

It’s pronounced, “Mill-e-wah-que.”

Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. And as AEW continues towards Dynasty, Rated FTR and the Death Riders prepare for their World Trios Championship match by pitting Dax Harwood against Wheeler Yuta!

OFFICIAL RESULTS

  • Jay White VS Kevin Knight; White wins.
  • Mercedes Mone VS Robyn Renegade; Mone wins.
  • “Big Bill” Morrissey & Bryan Keith VS Top Flight; Bill & Keith win.
  • Dax Harwood VS Wheeler Yuta; Yuta wins.

PLAY BY PLAY

Toni Storm is here!

Milwaukee cheers as The Good Land is now TIMELESS! Toni goes right to the ring, puts her AEW Women’s World Championship belt right down on the mat, and has a mic to say, “Milwaukee, I love you.” The fans cheer that! Toni says please, enough of the banter! “Megan Bayne, get your oiled up, feathered ass out here right now!” No response, so Toni says fine. If Megan is too busy crushing watermelons and eating babies, then listen up! The spotlight drops on Toni as the fans chant her name. Toni says, “Last Wednesday, you were the better woman. I don’t know what happened, it all happened so fast. But before I knew it, I was flat on my back like you’d just bought me a steak dinner.

“I am embarrassed. I am hurt. And I’m ashamed. And the worst part is, you made it look so easy.” Toni rests on the mat beside her belt to say, “I went back to my hotel, and I turned off all the lights. And I laid there, going over the same scene in my head over and over and over again, wondering if this is what’s going to happen to me at Dynasty.” Fans say no, but Toni continues, “And then, when the sun came up, I was covered in sweat. Moreso than usual. But I got up, and I went into the bathroom and I took a piss. And then I stubbed my toe, then I whacked my head on the sink. And when I came to, I looked into the mirror, and I remembered exactly who I am!”

The fans cheer, and Toni rises up to say, “I am Timeless Toni Storm! And at Dynasty, I will be leaving with your tits in my purse!” Toni approaches the ropes for her close up, only to be CLOBBERED by Penelope Ford! The Superbad Girl grins, the fans boo, but Ford fires off hands on Toni! Ford whips, but Toni reverses to GERMAN SUPLEX! Ford ends up in a corner, Toni runs in, SWEET HIP MUSIC! The fans fire up as Toni stomps a mudhole into Ford! But then Megan CLOBBERS Toni! The fans boo as now the Megasus gets the drop on Toni! Megan fireman’s carries, FATE’S DESCENT on the belt!

The fans boo even more as Megan sits Toni up, tells her to “BOW! DOWN!” then throws Toni down again! Megan stands over Toni, and with just EIGHT DAYS left, is there no such thing as “timeless” in AEW?

The Death Riders speak.

Claudio Castagnoli starts with German, and he says that while Dax Harwood will be the first victim of the Death Riders, this Wednesday is when the Swiss Cyborg does something for himself. Claudio calls out Adam Copeland to go 1v1 for what Cope did to him! And if Copeland thinks that was ruthless, Claudio knows he is losing his edge and is just trying to cope with it! Claudio will beat Cope to a pulp, but leave just enough of him alive to limp to Dynasty so he can team up with his “two little groupies,” and fail at another chance of becoming champion here in AEW.

Moxley pats Claudio on the shoulder and says, “There are only three women I fear in this world: My mother, my sister, and my wife. Until I met Marina Shafir. On the day that she just snaps, I know I don’t wanna be the one who pissed her off. Part of me thinks maybe me and you, Swerve, we should just grab some popcorn, sit and watch these ladies tear each other apart. But you talked a really, really big game on Wednesday, and now you gotta back it up. Right now, that’s the job. Poor, sweet Willow.” Marina speaks up and warns Willow in Romanian, then in English she dares Willow to keep smiling once Marina’s ripped out her liver and shoved it down her throat!

Moxley & Claudio look at each other, Moxley with wide eyes and Claudio with a big smile. They head out with Marina, will there be no solving this Problem?

Jay White VS Kevin Knight!

The Switchblade has put his name in the hat for the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, knowing full well Will Ospreay and Hangman Adam Page will be in it, too. But will White be rolling towards the Owen Hart Cup opening round? Or will The Jet take him on quite the flight?

The bell rings and the fans rally. White and Knight circle, and Milwaukee is strongly behind the Switchblade. The two tie up, White waistlocks but Knight drop toeholds. Knight floats to a facelock, floats to a cover, but White slips through to headlock. Knight rolls free and the two stand off. The fans cheer, White and Knight reset, and they knuckle lock. White rolls, wrenches, and wristlocks. Knight rolls, handsprings, and then wrenches to WRING White! White rolls through and the fans cheer. White shakes out the arm while Knight brushes himself off. They tie up again and are in a deadlock.

They go around, White headlocks, then hits the takeover. Knight headscissors, White shrugs that off, but Knight rolls to a cover. TWO, Knight headscissors again, but White kips free. Knight headlocks, White rolls free, then he hits a headlock takeover again! Knight headscissors, White kips free again, and now Knight headlocks. White powers up and out, they RAM shoulders, and White rebounds to run Knight over! But Knight springs right back up! The fans cheer, and now White fires forearms! White runs, Knight hurdles, but then White fakes Knight out! The fans cheer, Knight still arm-drags White around!

Knight ducks ‘n’ dodges White to tilt-o-whirl and RANA! Not the smoothest but White is right up to CHOP back! White shakes out the stars, storms up on Knight and CHOPS again! And CHOPS in the corner! The fans fire up while Knight goes to a corner. White storms up, reels Knight in, then suplexes. Knight slips free to UPPERCUT, UPPERCUT, and UPPERCUT again! Knight whips, White grabs ropes, and then White TOSSES Knight to the apron! Knight bobs ‘n’ weaves, ROCKS White, then steps in. White grabs a leg, DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! Both men are down and the fans rally up!

Knight stands, White CHOPS him to the corner! The fans fire up and White LARIATS! White brings Knight around, suplexes, BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Knight stays in this but White stays calm while Collision goes picture in picture.

White looms over Knight, drags him up, and CHOPS! Knight flops out of the ring! White pursues, but Knight CHOPS! White CHOPS back! Knight CHOPS in return! White CHOPS, Knight CHOPS, and repeat! Knight fires CHOP after CHOP, then he puts White in the ring. White is on Knight with a CHOP! Knight sputters while White catches his breath, and then White covers, TWO! White covers again, TWO! White clamps onto Knight with a chinlock and grinds him down. Knight endures, fights up, and fires body shots. White CHOPS Knight again! Knight sputters and flounders to the corner but White is on him again.

White stands Knight up, CHOPS him, then whips corner to corner hard! Knight slumps down in the corner but White drags him to a cover, TWO! White drags Knight up, puts him in a corner then puts him up top. White CHOPS Knight, climbs up, but Knight fires body shots! Collision returns to single picture as White hops down. Knight throws hands, then adjusts position. But White CHOPS Knight down! Knight falls to the apron, tries to hold on, but then slumps down to the floor. Milwaukee is fired up again as White storms out after Knight. White puts Knight in the ring, covers, TWO! White keeps Knight down with a REAR BEARHUG!

The fans rally as Knight fights up and fires body shots. White CHOPS again! Knight drops to a knee, but he shakes his head. Knight stands, but White CHOPS again! Knight again drops to his knees, the fans fire up, and Knight rises! Knight ducks a chop to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP! Knight ROCKS White, whips him, but White reverses to CHOP! White runs, but into a DROPKICK! Both men are down and the fans fire back up! White and Knight stir, and Knight roars as he rises up! Knight ROCKS White, counter punches, then fires a flurry! White knees low, whips Knight to the corner, but Knight comes back to CLOBBER White!

Knight LARIATS White, whips him, but White reverses. Knight goes up and over, then scoops to SLAM! The fans fire up and Knight UFO SPLASHES! Cover, TWO! White survives and Knight is a bit surprised, but he fireman’s carries. White fights free to CHOP! White whips, Knight leaps over the lariat, then SUPERKICKS! White ends up in a corner, Knight runs in, but White puts him on the apron! Knight ROCKS White first, then springboards, but into the clinch! URE- NO, Knight arm-drags White into a takedown and cover, TWO!! White escapes and Knight is shocked! White clinches, BLADE- NO, Knight slips around and shoves White to a corner!

Knight runs in, White ELBOWS him, then goes up! UPPER ROOM!! Knight throws White down and gets moving, but White ducks a lariat! COMPLETE SHOT, then the waistlock! Deadlift GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up and White drags Knight up. White clinches for the URENAGE! White says time to end it! Clinch and BLADERUNNER!! Cover, White wins!

Winner: Jay White, by pinfall

Knight pushed White in this one, but he still had to Breathe with the Switchblade! White grabs a mic to say, “Let’s hear it for Kevin Knight!” The fans cheer, and White says, “Just like myself, Kevin went through the NJPW Dojo. And although this year, it won’t be yours in the Owen, there’s always next year. Because I’m pretty sure we’re going to see a lot more of Kevin Knight in AEW.” The fans cheer that! White says that was Knight’s cue to leave but guess Milwaukee thought otherwise. White says, “See you around.” They shake hands, and Knight takes off. When and where will The Jet fly back to AEW?

White says the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will have the best of the best. And just like White does every time, he will show us that he is the MOST elite! Because he needs to win the Owen Hart Cup, because he needs to go on to All In: Texas, because he needs his shot at the AEW World Championship! The fans cheer that, and White says because he is the Last Rock ‘n’ Rolla, the man who singlehandedly sold out Madison Square Garden, King Switch! The Catalyst of Professional Wrestling! This is STILL his era! And at All In, White will show us it is STILL the Switchblade Era! White has issued his mission statement, but will it be mission accomplished by July?

AEW shares a tweet from Athena.

In response Mercedes Mone posting, “Milwaukee, say hello to your C E O,” The Fallen Goddess says, “Maybe I will say hi… TONIGHT!” Could the Forever ROH Women’s Champion be the one to face the TBS Champion tonight? We’ll have to see, after the break!

Mercedes Mone VS Robyn Renegade!

#FourBeltsMone held onto the TBS Championship after getting quite the fight from Billie Starkz. But her AEW Dynasty dance card is still open. Will Mone win herself a night off? Or will this Renegade make Mone work for her money?

The bell rings and Mone circles with Robyn. They tie up, go around, and Mone headlocks. Robyn powers out but Mone runs her over! Milwaukee is tourn, but things speed up. Mone steps on Robyn’s dropdown, then does her dance. Robyn runs up, Mone gets around to waistlock, but Robyn switches. They go to ropes, Mone bucks the O’Conner, but Robyn comes back with a sunset flip! TWO, and Robyn SHOTGUNS Mone down! Robyn does her own version of Mone’s dance, then drags Mone up. Mone stops a kick to KNEE Robyn away! Mone runs in at the corner, but Robyn dodges and KNEES Mone back!

Robyn runs side to side and BOOTS Mone! The fans are still torn as Robyn puts Mone up top. Robyn climbs up, but Mone shoves her down! Mone leaps, CROSSBODY! But Robyn rolls through! Robyn shows some power as she scoops Mone and pops her around, only for Mone to slip out! Mone gut wrenches Robyn to a CIPHER UTAKI! Cover, TWO! Robyn survives and Mone is a bit surprised. Robyn goes to a corner, Mone runs up, and Mone stops the boot to put Robyn in the ropes! Mone jumps up, but Robyn dodges the Stock Drop! Mone grabs at Robyn but Robyn KNEES Mone in the ropes! Robyn then goes up to STOMP Mone down!

The fans rally as Robyn shoves Mone down. Robyn climbs, the fans rally, and Robyn MOONSAULTS, but FLOPS as Mone moves! Mone drags herself up and climbs, to then METEORA! Cover, TWO! Robyn survives again but Mone is right on her! Goery Especial for the MONEY MAKER! And then STATEMENT MAKER! Robyn TAPS, Mone wins!

Winner: Mercedes Mone, by submission

The CEO smiles as she puts this Renegade down and grabs up all her belts. Tony Schiavone joins Mone in the ring and congratulates her on another win. It seems like that the Money Train is running hotter than ever. But he understands she had something she wants to say, so the floor is hers. Mone says that’s right. The fans boo, Mone frowns, and she takes the mic from Schiavone. “I am the greatest TBS Champion of all time! And I came to AEW to win more gold. So I’m officially declaring myself in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! That’s right! I’m planning on winning the Owen Cup.

“And then, the Money Train is gonna make her way to Texas to All In! And then, I’m going to become the AEW Women’s World Champion!” Fans are torn again but Schiavone says that tournament will have a lot of competition, including Billie Starkz, who- Mone stops Schiavone there. She doesn’t wanna hear about that stupid kid! Billie has a lot of heart, but not as much heart as Robyn! Give it up for Robyn! Way more heart than that stupid Billie. Who even trained Billie? They suck! You’re looking at the greatest women’s wrestler of all time! WAIT! Athena really IS here! The fans cheer as THE ROH Women’s World Champion is on AEW!

Athena goes to the ring, and she holds up her spinner belt while looking at Mone’s collection. The fans are all behind Athena and that annoys Mone. Mone puts her belts aside, to take a swing on Athena! Athena dodges and DECKS Mone! The fans cheer, Athena goes to the corner, and Robyn helps Mone up. Mone gets away, O-FACE for Robyn! Well, not the target Athena wanted, but Athena does look at Mone’s TBS Championship. Athena shouts, “This is MY show now!” Will Athena’s Forever Reign be the one to add more gold? Or has she just put herself on Mone’s gold colleting radar?

Backstage interview with Queen Aminata.

Lexy Nair is with the One True African Queen, and it would seem there is unfortunate news. Aminata’s hand is wrapped up, she is unable to compete tonight. Taking her place in tonight’s main event is Billie Starkz. Given all this, how does- Serena Deeb walks in. Deeb smirks and says Aminata must know this was preventable, right? Deeb had the game plan, offered it to Aminata, and Aminata didn’t want to listen. Let’s look at history, Aminata. Every time Aminata listened, she won. Every time she didn’t, not only does she lose, she ends up injured. This is all choices. Everything they do is choices. And unfortunately, Aminata made the wrong choice.

Aminata admits, Deeb is right. Everything is about choices. And Aminata still choose not to listen to Deeb’s trash! Not listening to any of that. Okay, Queen, Deeb respects that. But deep down, Aminata knows Deeb is right. And if Aminata thinks there’s a slight chance that she knows that Deeb is right, well, Aminata will have some weeks at home to rest up. Here’s some reading material. Deeb shoves her playbook into Aminata’s hand, will Aminata do her homework?

“Big Bill” Morrissey & Bryan Keith VS Top Flight w/ Leila Grey!

Speaking of learning, The Redwood & Bad Apple want to make The Learning Tree proud, and that means winning some championships to go along with Chris Jericho’s ROH World Title. Will Bill & Keith be one step closer to facing The Hurt Syndicate with tonight? Or will Darius & Dante Martin soar far above the trees to be next in line for gold?

The teams sort out and Bill starts against Darius. The fans rally, but Dante wants in! Darius tags Dante in, and now Keith says he wants in! Bill tags Keith, he and Dante tie up, and they go around. Keith puts Dante on ropes, Dante turns things around, but Dante lets off as the ref counts. The two go again, Keith arm-drags hard and has the armlock. Dante rolls and arm-drags free, then he DROPKICKS Keith down! The fans fire up, Dante A-LIST LARIATS! Tag to Darius, he snap suplexes Keith and tag sin Dante. Slingshot SENTON! The fans cheer, Dante brings Keith up but Keith shoves free!

Darius tags in, Top Flight gets Keith for the LARIAT STO COMBO! Cover, TWO! Darius stands Keith up to CHOP, then UPPERCUT! Darius whips corner to corner, Keith reverses, but Darius goes up and over. Darius rolls, but Keith ROUNDHOUSES him down! Keith brings Darius over, tag to Bill, and the fans boo as Bill & Keith mug Darius. Bill drags Darius up but Darius fires body shots! Bill CLUBS Darius down, then puts him in a corner. Bill CHOPS Darius, Darius sputters and the fans fire up. Bill stands Darius up, Darius fires more body shots, but Bill CHOPS again! Bill brings Darius over, tags in Keith, but Darius fires forearms and elbows!

Darius ROCKS Bill, goes up to BOOT, then TORNADO- NO, Bill puts Darius on the apron! Darius ROCKS Bill, but Keith BOOTS Darius! Keith goes out after Darius to CHOP him, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Keith stands Darius up, CLAWS his eyes, and then CHOPS him again! Darius staggers away, Keith storms after him, and then Keith puts Darius in the ring. Keith pushes Darius to a cover, TWO! Keith argues with the ref but the count is the count. Keith drops a knee on Darius’ face, then covers, TWO! Keith is getting annoyed, but he tells Dante to pipe down. Darius fires body shots and forearms, but Keith ROUNDHOUSES him down again. Keith brings Darius up to whip, but then sends him back the other way for an ELBOW! Bill applauds but he might be the only one. Keith steps on Darius’ face, then has a cocky cover, TWO!

Keith references Jericho but that doesn’t finish it, so Keith clamps on a CAMEL CLUTCH! Darius endures, even as Keith CLAWS his face! The ref reprimands, Keith stops, and Darius fights up. Darius pries at the hold, but Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Bill BODY BLOWS Darius down! The fans are torn as Bill stalks Darius. Bill drags Darius back by a leg but the fans continue to rally for Top Flight. Keith runs in around the way, but Dante SUPERKICKS Keith first! Darius lunges forward, hot tag to Dante! The fans fire up as Dante springboards, but Bill gets under. Dante comes back, but Bill LARIATS him down! Bill grins and soaks up cheers and jeers. Bill runs in at Dante to SPLASH! Then he runs at Darius to SPLASH! Back to Dante for a BOOT! Darius dodges the lariat, but not the BOSS MAN SLAM! The fans are torn as Bill talks trash on Bobby Lashley!

Bill soaks up the cheers and jeers while Keith has Dante in the corner. Bill runs up, but Dante slips free! The SPLASH takes out Keith! Dante HURDLES Bill!? But no Darius, so Dante realizes he’s cornered. Bill storms up, Dante BOOTS him away, and Darius returns! Tag to Darius, and Dante runs up. Bill hoists Dante up, SKYSCRAPER CHOKE SLAM! Cover, Bill & Keith win!

Winners: “Big Bill” Morrissey & Bryan Keith, by pinfall

If that teamwork and victory doesn’t say they’re ready, that look on Bill’s face sure does. Will the Learning Tree do this to the Hurt Syndicate? Or will Lashley & Shelton just hurt people?

Wait, The Cru slithers in! They have the chain necklaces ready like last week! Leila spots them, but it’s AR FOX that jumps in! Fox stands with Top Flight and The Cru backs off. Action says that’s fine, they’ll let it go this time. But will The Sight to See & The Man of the Hour ground Top Flight one way or another?

Backstage interview with Jamie Hayter.

Lexy Nair is with the Southampton Hayter and welcomes her back. Last time we saw her, she was victorious over Julia Hart, and now she’s in the main event of Collision. How does it feel to be back again? Hayter says it feels great. And if you know Hayter, you know she doesn’t like doing things by half measures. So being in the main event is just another Saturday night for her. But she will say she is very excited to be in the ring with a young whippersnapper like Billie Starkz. It really injects some energy into Hayter, it lights that fire. And Billie has a lot of fire herself, and Hayter likes that. Billie gets knocked down but she gets back up.

And Hayter while respects that about Billie, she doesn’t want Billie to confuse respect for mercy. If Billie steps to Hayter, Hayter will hit back and knock her on her ass. There’s no hesitation, no second chances. So if Hayter were Billie, she’d be smart. Or, find out the hard way. Your choice. Oh, and one more thing. Hayter noticed some girls are already putting in for the Owen Hart Tournament, so Hayter will do that, too. And it is very fitting that she returned at All In last year, because this year, she leaves All In the champion! Hayter is ready, how hard will she hit Billie on this Collision?

Adam Cole is here!

The Undisputed Kingdom follows him out, complete with “BOOM!” and “ADAM COLE BAYBAY!” as the Panama City Playboy prepares for his NO TIME LIMIT AEW TNT Championship match at Dynasty. As such, here comes the champion, Daniel Garcia! Daddy Magic has Garcia’s back as he goes to the ring, and the fans cheer for all parties involved. Cole has the mic and wants Garcia to listen. Cole knows tensions are high, but he’ll make this crystal clear: Cole has all the respect in the world for Garcia. The past two matches they’ve had are two of the toughest matches Cole’s had in his AEW career.

When they saw Garcia is the future of AEW, Cole means that in his soul, and the fans sure believe that. That is because Garcia is a fighting champion. When Cole challenged Garcia for the TNT Championship, Cole could not get the job done. But neither did Garcia. And so as a fighting champion, that must make Garcia sick to his stomach. He must not be able to sleep at night knowing he didn’t and couldn’t put Cole away. And unless Garcia is a coward, he’d want to change that. Cole sure wants to change that. Cole doesn’t want things to end in a draw. This needs to end with one man proving that he is better than the other, and dammit, that man is Cole!

Cole knows, Garcia knows, the entire world knows, that Garcia and Cole need to finish this fight. The fans cheer, Garcia nods, and he tells Cole he appreciates the kind words. Garcia agrees with a lot of that. They’ve been in the ring almost two months straight. And as much fun as it has been testing his iron against one of the best, truly, Garcia is getting a little bit frustrated. It is eating Garcia alive that he couldn’t beat Cole. Matt Menard tells Garcia that he is THE TNT Champion. How many chances is Cole gonna get? Garcia doesn’t need to be talked into this. It is Cole’s job to defeat Garcia, and Cole couldn’t do it!

Menard says Garcia doesn’t have to go through with this. Garcia pats Menard on the shoulder and says yeah, he doesn’t have to do this. But he wants to! So then, they will run it back one last time, BAYBAY! Roddy shouts, “DANNYYY~! Hey, listen. I have all the respect in the world for you. And just like Adam said, you are the future. And I’m not just saying this because he’s my best friend, but he is one of the best pro-wrestlers on the planet. And as good as you are, you’re just not there yet, dude.” Menard says, “Not there yet?” Menard and Roddy argue, Kyle joins in, but Garcia tells them all that this is enough!

Enough noise, enough distractions! April 6th, Kyle won’t be out there, Roddy won’t be out there, and Menard won’t be out there. Menard is a bit taken aback, but Garcia says at Dynasty, there will be no one ringside, there will be no time limit, and it will be Cole VS Garcia for the TNT Championship, ONE LAST TIME, and there WILL be a winner, cuz you’re looking right at him! Garcia holds up the title, but will he still own that title when it’s all said and done? Or is Dynasty going to be Undisputed?

Athena & Billie Starkz regroup backstage.

The Fallen Goddess says, “Mercedes~! HAHA~! Is that it?” Billie says yeah, just about. Athena says that is so annoying. But what’s the expression? Poke a bear, it might bite you? Well here’s one better. Mercedes, if you’re gonna be a passive aggressive b*tch, you’re gonna get hit. How did you like the taste of the floor? Was it good for Mercedes? Cuz it was great for Athena. So use this as a learning lesson: Keep Athena’s name, and her Minion’s name, out of your damn mouth. But hey! Mone is in the business of collecting championships? OMG, she’s such an inspiration, Athena is gonna do the same thing.

So how about this? Let’s get to real business, not that Mone knows what that is. Athena declares to her Minions and to the AEW fans around the world. Your Forever ROH Champion, Fallen Goddess, American Joshi, Minion Overlord, and all those other things, is OFFICIALLY ENTERING the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! That’s great, right? And Billie! Billie made this all come together, what a brilliant little schemer she’s becoming. Billie has her match tonight! The main event! Look at her! And against a former AEW Women’s World Champion, Jamie Hayter. Is she ready? Yeah, she’s ready! She’ll make Athena proud!

Athena is sure Billie will find a way to disappoint, but tonight, Athena will be watching very closely. Good luck. Billie gives a salute, and it seems no matter if it’s ROH or AEW, Athena keeps Billie under her thumb. Will the inaugural and former ROH Women’s World TV Champion prove she’s ready for the big time?

Dax Harwood VS Wheeler Yuta!

Rated FTR made the challenge for the AEW World Trios Championships, The Death Riders made the challenge for Rated FTR to survive. The bell rings, the two circle, and the fans rally up. They tie up, break, then go again. They break again, fans chant “YUTA SUCKS!” and Dax smirks. There are fans chanting for Yuta?! Yuta puts Dax’s arm on the steps to STOMP it! Yuta then goes to a corner, pulls the covers off the crossbars, and he drags Dax through!

Yuta stands on Dax’s arm to dig it into the crossbar! The ref reprimands, then counts, but Yuta stops at 4, and he reminds the ref, “I have ’til FIVE!” The fans are torn as Yuta copies Danielson, then he drags Dax up to the very top. SUPER DUPER PLEX! Both men are down and Milwaukee fires up as Collision goes picture in picture.

A standing count starts, but Yuta crawls over to Dax at 4 of 10. Cover, TWO! Yuta is annoyed but he drags Dax into a top wristlock. Yuta stands on the arm, then STOMPS it! Dax scrambles away to the corner, but Yuta goes out to grab the bad arm! Yuta SLAMS the arm into the POST! Dax scrambles away again, but Yuta stalks him. Dax CHOPS Yuta, but Yuta takes the bad arm! Yuta SLAMS the arm off the steps, then he flexes while soaking up cheers and jeers. Dax goes into the ring, Yuta goes up top, and Yuta MISSILE DROPKICKS! Yuta kips up, grins, and then takes a bow. Yuta STOMPS the bad arm again, and Dax goes to another corner.

Yuta storms up to CLUB Dax, then he wraps the bad arm around the ropes! The ref counts, Yuta stops at 4, and then he wrenches Dax into a snapmare. Yuta drops a knee on the elbow! Then Yuta clamps on a cording hold, only for Dax to fight up. Yuta wrenches, but Dax ROCKS him! Dax CHOPS Yuta, then JABS, JABS, JABS, before he DECKS Yuta! Yuta gets up but Dax DECKS him again! Dax LARIATS Yuta up and out, then hurries after him. Dax counter punches Yuta, runs up, but Yuta dodges! Dax runs into the POST! Yuta hurries to THROW Dax over the barriers! The ref reprimands Yuta while Collision returns to single picture.

Yuta returns to the ring, soaks up the heat, then goes back outside. Dax rises, Yuta ROCKS him! Dax CHOPS, Yuta ROCKS, then Dax ROCKS Yuta again and again! Dax DECKS Yuta, then hops up an dover the barrier. Dax reels Yuta in, but Yuta fights the driver! The bad arm also holds Dax back, and then Yuta BACKDROPS free! Yuta hears the ring count, and he puts Dax in at 6 of 10. Yuta storms in, but Dax has his leg! DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! Yuta hobbles, Dax grabs the leg for a DRAGON SCREW! Dax drags Yuta to a corner, and now for some payback! Dax SLAMS Yuta’s leg into the POST! Yuta writhes, but Dax grabs the legs again!

Dax shouts out The Hitman with the HANGING FIGURE FOUR! Yuta shouts in pain, the ref reprimands and counts, but Dax lets go at 4. Dax storms in, Yuta wants mercy, but Dax just grabs the leg again. Dax steps through but Yuta BOOTS him into the POST! Yuta hobbles his way over as Dax goes to the apron. Yuta climbs up top, but Dax CLUBS a leg! Yuta sits on the corner, and Dax climbs up! Yuta drags Dax around, chicken wings the arms again, CATTLE- NO, Dax slips free! Dax bobs ‘n’ weaves to DECK Yuta! Yuta rewinds, gets around Dax, GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Dax trips Yuta, ties up the legs, SHARPSHOOTER! Yuta endures while the fans fire up!

Yuta scrambles around and finds the ROPEBREAK! Dax holds until 4, and then shakes out the bad arm. Yuta talks with the ref, Dax runs up, and Dax HIP TOSSES, but Yuta uses that to arm-drag and SEATBELT!! YUTA WINS!

Winner: Wheeler Yuta, by pinfall

Dax can’t believe it, but he just got suckered in! Yuta celebrates like he’s already won the title match, and Claudio is there to pat Yuta on the back. Will the Death Riders keep scoring as Claudio takes on Cope? Or can Rated FTR even things up before Dynasty? Dax argues with the ref, the ref says his decision stands. His count was the count, there’s nothing to it. But then Dax gets in the ref’s face?!? Security rushes in there, but Dax fights them!? They hold Dax down, but Cash YANKS them all off him! But then Dax SHOVES Cash?! Dax realizes what he did and he apologizes. Cash is stunned, but just what is going on with Dax’s emotional state?

Dax offers a hand, Cash slaps it away to get in Dax’s face! Dax says he’s sorry, it was a mistake, but then Cash storms off. Well, guess you can’t spell frustration without F T R. Will they be able to sort this out before arriving in Philadelphia?

Backstage interview with The Patriarchy.

Alicia Atout is with Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne & Mother Shayna, and notes that just like last week, they’re here without any sign of Christian Cage. Just what is going on with The Patriarchy? But before anyone can speak up, The Cru barges in. Lio Rush asks Nick, “What’s up with your boy, Fox, man?” Nick says, “Huh?” Lio repeats himself, what’s up with his boy? Uh, his boy? Fox is far from Nick’s boy. Really? They know they’re history together. Didn’t Fox try to end Nick’s career? So Nick is just gonna chill back here while Fox is out there still breathing? Nick says okay, he gets what they’re up to here. Oh, really? And what’s that?

What The Cru is really doing is asking Nick for help, simply because they can’t get the job done. Oh, is that so? Nick doesn’t blame them for asking him. But Nick’s done with Fox, that is well in the past. Well Nick’s past is creeping up on their present, so for them, that’s an issue. Oh, is that really an issue? Kip has Nick calm down. These “gentlemen” surely didn’t come and interrupt them without a reason, so The Patriarchy should hear them out. AKA, get to the point. Lio says this is all they’re saying. Three of them, two of The Cru. But when the time is right, nobody knows Fox better than Nick Wayne. Just think on it.

The Cru heads out, but will The Patriarchy’s Prodigy take them up on the offer to team up?

Backstage interview with Thunder Rosa & Kris Statlander.

Lexy is now with La Mera Mera & The Galaxy’s Greatest as she says we can officially announce they are also entering the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! Kris says that last year, she was a completely different person in a much different place. But she still had the same goals as she does today. “To every woman in this tournament, and to every woman in the locker room, you can’t stop Stat!” Rosa says, “Unless you face me.” Much respect to Kris, but like Rosa told Toni Storm, Rosa never lost the AEW Women’s World Championship, and she’s yet to wear one since. So believe her when she says this: She will scratch and claw harder than ever to have the Cup above her head.

Kris says, “Unless you face me.” Rosa says okay, mamacita. See you in the Owen. They each wish the other luck, and then head out. Will La Mera Mera & The Galaxy’s Greatest battle to prove who is TRULY the best of the best?

Jamie Hayter VS Billie Starkz!

Hayter was preparing for Aminata, but it would seem Aminata’s loss to Hart has also lost her some time in the ring. But Billie is ready to step up to prove herself worthy of AEW’s bright lights! Will this be the start of Starkz’s legacy? Or will Hayter Hit Hard enough to be the number one seed in the Owen Hart Cup?

The bell rings and Billie circles with Hayter. Milwaukee cheers on Billie and Hayter encourages it. The two then tie up, and Hayter powers Billie to a corner. The ref counts, Hayter lets off with a pat on the shoulder, and Billie frowns. The two reset, tie up again, and Hayter again powers Billie to a corner. The ref counts again, and Hayter lets off with another pat on the shoulder. Billie frowns again, but the fans duel, “Let’s Go, Jamie!” “Billie Starkz!” They tie up, Hayter headlocks, and she grinds Billie down. Billie powers up and out, but Hayter runs Billie over! Things keep moving and Hayter runs Billie over again!

Hayter flexes, the fans are torn, but Billie is right up to stare Hayter down. The fans cheer, but Hayter pie faces Billie! Billie ROCKS Hayter! Billie whips, then follows, and she sunset flips over, TWO! Hayter gets up, Billie BUZZSAWS her down! The fans rally up, Billie whips Hayter but Hayter reverses. Hayter runs up, but into an ELBOW! Hayter comes back, but into a BOOT! Hayter is annoyed, she blocks boots this time but not the rebound ENZIGIRI! Billie goes up, up, but Hayter TOSSES Billie down! Billie writhes, rises, and Hayter is up the corner to MISSILE DROPKICK! Hayter flexes, the fans are torn, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Hayter stalks Billie, stomps her down, then stands on her! Billie endures until Hayter steps off, and then Hayter puts Billie on the ropes. Hayter CHOKES Billie, the ref counts, and Hayter steps off at 4. Hayter “apologizes” before she stalks Billie. Hayter drags Billie up, DDTS her by the ropes, then puts her back on the ropes. Hayter KNEE DROPS on Billie’s back, then KNEE DROPS again! And again! The ref reprimands but Hayter backs off. Hayter fires up the fans, then she goes back to kneel on Billie’s neck! The ref reprimands and counts, that’s not a cover! Hayter backs off, “apologizes” again, then has Billie in a corner.

Hayter smacks Billie off buckles, then runs her corner to corner to smack her off more buckles! Then Hayter goes to a third corner for buckle bumps! Hayter says let’s finish the set, and she runs Billie corner to corner for a buckle bump! Billie falls back, Hayter dusts her hands off, and then brings Billie up. But Billie WRINGS Hayter’s arm! And she SUPERKICKS Hayter down! Hayter staggers up, ducks the heel kick, and she shoves Billie for a SPINEBUSTER! Hayter then turns Billie over, HALF CRAB! Billie endures, reaches out for ropes, but Hayter sits deep on the hold! Billie reaches out, grits her teeth, and Collision returns to single picture.

Hayter tells Billie to just give up, but Billie refuses! The fans rally harder, and Billie powers up! Billie claws and crawls, to the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, and Hayter lets go in frustration. Hayter runs, but Billie DUMPS her to the apron! Hayter swings, Billie ducks it to sweep the legs! SUPERKICK and Hayter goes to the floor! Billie builds speed and DIVES! Down goes Hayter at the ramp! Billie rises, the fans fire up, and Billie drags Hayter up and into the ring. Billie hurries up the corner while Hayter is down, SWANTON BOMB! Cover, TWO! Hayter stays in this and Billie is seeing what it is to be a former world champion.

Billie drags Hayter up, reels her in, and suplexes, only for Hayter to slip free! The fans duel while Hayter fireman’s carries, but Billie slips free to throw her down! Hayter gets up, DOUBLE FOREARMS from both women connect! DOUBLE ROUNDHOUSES connect, too! And then Hater SHOTGUNS Billie into a corner! The fans rally up harder while both women are down! Billie drags herself up with the ropes, Hayter rises at center. Hayter powers up, kisses the bicep, but Billie ducks the lariat to suplex! GHOSTBUSTER!! Cover, TWO!! Hayter survives and Billie is shocked! Billie seethes, and she storms up on Hayter!

Billie Electric Chair Lifts Hayter, but Hayter fires hands! Hayter shoves Billie away, fireman’s carries, and USHIGOROSHI! Hayter runs, and SLIDING HAYTERADE!! Cover, TWO!! Billie survives and now Hayter is frustrated! Hayter is seeing why Billie is the first and former ROH Women’s TV Champion. Hayter hauls Billie up, but Billie ducks the lariat! SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! Billie powers up, runs, but Hayter follows to LARIAT at the ropes! Hayter runs, Billie follows, and Billie BOOTS Hayter at the ropes! Billie runs, but Hayter SUPERKICKS! And ENZIGIRIS! Billie winds up, but Hayter gets under! GERMAN SUPLEX!! Cover, TWO!!

The fans are thunderous while Hayter is beside herself. Hayter grits her teeth and vows to end it! Hayter throws off the armbands, drags Billie up to wind up and- NO, Billie ducks the lariat to cravat and KNEE SMASH, then HEEL KICK! Billie fires up, winds up, but Hayter ducks that shot! Billie tries again, but Hayter blocks it to a cording hold! Hayter brings Billie along as she goes to the ropes, SPRINGBOARD HAYTERADE!!! Cover, HAYTER WINS!

Winner: Jamie Hayter, by pinfall

Now that was a Collision! Hayter is back, and she finds a new way to hit hard! Athena walks out on stage, and she waves hi to Hayter. Whether Billie impressed her or disappointed her, Athena now has her eyes on Hayter and everyone else in the Owen Hart Cup. Will the Fallen Goddess learn for herself that Hayter Hits Hard? Or will the Owen Hart Cup join the Athena World Domination Tour soon enough?

My Thoughts:

A very good Collision, talky as usual, but very good build towards Dynasty and the Owen Hart Cup simultaneously. Great opening promo from Toni, because she’s always great at promos, but they did a great job framing Ford’s blindside attack on Toni. And while Toni takes down Ford, Megan of course gets the last say on Toni. Toni is the underdog champion, knows she is, but knows she won’t let that stop her, and surely she comes out on top at Dynasty. Good promo from The Death Riders to hype up Dynamite. Claudio was very clever in using “Edge” and “Cope” in his part, and he will have a great match against Cope, but I would think Cope wins.

Marina had a great part calling out Willow, and that Mixed Tornado Tag will be awesome stuff. Dax VS Yuta was great, too, and real good win for Yuta. Dax losing his cool further waters the seed that is an FTR Heel Turn, but if this keeps up between Dax and Cash, could we end up with FTR VS FTR? That’d be rather wild, but it’d also make sense since FTR at some point said they were drawing closer to the end of their careers. A tag team like them, that has already done so much, having a 1v1 against each other is kinda the last thing to check off their bucket lists.

Great tag match from Bill & Keith VS Top Flight, one of the best Top Flight’s had in a minute since they’ve been going back and forth between AEW and ROH, but I figured Bill & Keith would win. They want their shot at The Hurt Syndicate, this gets them a step closer to that, and Top Flight still has The Cru after them anyway. I’m just not sure The Cru asking Nick Wayne to help out against Top Flight & AR Fox is the kind of story continuity they should be using right about now… Nick’s busy with this story against Christian Cage, he should focus on that. Unless the point is, if Patriarchy falls apart, Nick needs somewhere to go and someone to hand out with. But then The Cru is just three- Gasp! Cru-serweights…!

Great promo segment from Cole, Garcia and their friends, but uh, the announcement came in right as this segment started, so for us at home, it completely undercut how Garcia and Cole were building to making the No Time Limit title match. This is all still the right move, and Garcia telling Menard to stay away from ringside was a wild twist. Cole VS Garcia could be a borderline show stealer given how great their 20 minute draw was last time. And I still think that Cole should win the title, just so he finally has something in AEW aside from the tag title run alongside MJF. As for Garcia, losing the TNT title could be his opportunity to move on to another title, like the International or Continental Championship.

Hologram VS Blake was a rather random match to put on, but whatever, still great stuff. I wonder who finally pins/submits Hologram to end his win streak. It’d have to be someone that fans already have strong feelings for, good or bad. Like, Ospreay could get away being the guy that beats Hologram because it’s Ospreay. At the same time, MJF or Jericho could beat Hologram because not only do they have the power level, but fans love to hate them anyway so they’d love to hate MJF or Jericho as the guy who ended the streak.

And great stuff with the Women’s Owen Hart Cup, but also a build between Mercedes Mone and Athena. Mone of course beat Robyn Renegade, but she of course also had to talk trash on Billie & Athena. Athena finally being on AEW TV is great in itself, and she had a good promo with Billie to touch on the love-hate relationship between Minion Overlord and Minion 400,237 & 3/4ths that we’ve seen the past two years on ROH. Aminata going down with injury is a shame, and her promo with Deeb could’ve been a bit sharper on both ends. But Deeb naturally puts it on Aminata that Aminata needs to either join her or wrestle her, and I’m thinking we get the latter.

Good promo from Rosa and Statlander to not only add them to the Owen Hart Cup but to tease their match-up. Hayter VS Billie was a great main event, and it was another great showing for Billie in the loss. Athena confronting Hayter was also good stuff, and both Owen Hart Cups are looking to be the most star-studded ones yet. But as it stands, I’m thinking Rosa wins to get that world title match she has yet to get, and then we get Mone VS Athena for the TBS Championship, as teased tonight. All In: Texas will basically give both Rosa and Athena homefield advantage, and it’d be pretty wild if both of them won titles then.

My Score: 8.8/10

Kenny Omega VS Blake Christian w/ Lee Johnson!

The AEW International Champion knows he has a Triple Threat waiting for him at Dynasty, so he needs to get himself ready. Will tonight be a tune-up for the Best Bout Machine? Or will he not like the taste of the Vanilla Babyface?

The bell rings and the fans fire up for “KENNY! KENNY!” Omega and Blake circle, feel things out, and tie up. Omega waistlocks, Blake pries at the grip, and Blake wrenches out to wristlock. Omega wrenches back, wristlocks again, but Blake rolls, cartwheels, and slips through to wrench. Blake spins Omega to snapmare, but Omega turns chinlock into armlock. Omega wrenches, then hits a headlock takeover. Blake headscissors, Omega kips free, and Omega hits another takeover. Omega fights off the headscissors, but Blake fights up to his feet. Blake powers up and out, but Omega runs him over! Blake kips up, then pie faces Omega! And flips him off!

St. Paul boos as Blake is anything but a babyface here. Omega shrugs that off and CHOPS Blake! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Blake sputters, Omega wrenches and reel shim in, for a BIG back suplex! The fans fire up, Omega runs corner to corner, but Blake dodges! Omega hits buckles hard, then Blake fires shots to the lower back! The fans boo but Blake fires more body blows. Omega fires forearms and haymakers, but Blake knees low! Blake whips, hurdles, then dodges to DROPKICK! Blake kips up, and pulls out a finger gun! Blake licks it, BANG, but Omega ROCKS him first! Omega then brings Blake to a corner, but Blake blocks the buckle bump!

Blake CLAWS Omega’s eyes, then steps out to the apron with him, APRON SPEAR! Omega goes to the floor, Blake builds speed, INVERTED DIVE! Direct hit at the ramp, and Blake high-fives Big Shotty. Blake puts Omega in, then springboards, but Omega gets under! Blake handsprings through, but into a V-TRIGGER! Lee gets on the apron, but Omega DECKS him! The fans fire up, Omega vows to end this! SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Blake sputters, but Omega hits another SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Blake is dazed but Omega isn’t done! Omega reels Blake in, hooks a leg, AOI SHODOU! The fans fire up and Omega takes out his finger gun!

Omega says BANG, runs in, and V-TRIGGER! Blake sputters, Omega Electric Chair Lifts! Fold for the ONE WINGED ANGEL!! Cover, Omega wins!

Winner: Kenny Omega, by pinfall

The Vanilla Babyface melted from the heat Omega is bringing! Omega picks up his belt but also a mic to say, “What’s going on?” The fans cheer, and Omega says it is unfortunate that he doesn’t get to wrestle every single week like he’d like. But when he gets the chance to come out to St. Paul, and when he promises them that he’ll make it quick, AEW’s fearless leader, Tony Khan, had no choice but to sign the match. But it will be a far different story when it comes to Dynasty! Omega not only has Ricochet, who the fans boo, but he also has the newcomer, though not so new to Omega, in “Speedball” Mike Bailey! The fans cheer that name!

And speaking of, here comes Speedball! The fans fire up as Bailey walks out, mic in hand, and he goes right to the ring. The fans cheer as these two are face to face, and Bailey says, “Kenny Omega…” Omega says, “Speedball.” Bailey congratulates Omega, and Omega says, “Thanks?” Bailey says he wanted to come out here and say that Omega is an inspiration to him. Bailey respects Omega. No, more than that, he admires Omega. As a wrestler, but also as a person, and as a champoin. But Kenny… Come Dynasty, even though Bailey respects Omega, he will not hold anything back.

Bailey won’t pull his punches, and he won’t hesitate for even one second to kick Omega’s head clean off and take that International Championship! Fans are torn on that, but Omega says, “So, by the sounds of it-” Oh no, Ricochet interrupts from the tron. “Do I have you attention? Okay, good, good, good. As much as I would love to be there in person, to smack both of you in your faces for even thinking that you’re going to leave Dynasty with my title… Fortunately for everybody involved in this situation, today is my wedding.” Ricochet models his white suit, and says he is dressed for the best day of his life.

“That is, until April 6th, when I continue to show everybody why Ricochet is Outta This World, and I beat you, Cornball, and I beat you, former Best Bout Machine, and I become the NEW International Champion! Oh, it sounds good, it sounds so good. I can see it now. So go ahead, continue to argue amongst yourselves about the inevitable. That being that after April 6th, Ricochet leaves Dynasty with both the girl and the gold. AHA~!” The One & Only adjusts his collar, but Omega tells him not so fast! Oh, well, he’s gone. But first of all, congratulations are in order. But that’ll be the only thing Omega will congratulate Ricochet on.

Because at Dynasty, make no mistake about it, it’s much like Ricochet said, it isn’t about making friends! Omega has a cat, he doesn’t need any more friends. The fans cheer that! Omega continues to say that as good of a guy as Bailey may be, and as big of a piece of garbage as Ricochet is, they aren’t Omega’s comrades. There is only one thing Omega has time for, there is only one thing Omega has room for, and it’s got to do with the thing on his shoulder, and that is his legacy. So consider yourselves just another stepping stone to solidifying Omega’s legacy. Oh and by the way, welcome to AEW, Bailey.

Unfortunately, while Omega wishes he could talk more, he must bid each and every one of you adieu! So until Dynasty, goodbye, MWAH! And goodnight, BANG! The Cleaner puts both his challengers on notice, but will the numbers spell disaster for him at Dynasty?

The Learning Tree speaks.

Chris Jericho says, “Last Sunday on Collision, I had Gravity’s mask taken from me. Or should I say, taken from us. But that’s okay, because I think it’s time for all the masks to be removed. It’s time to discuss some ugly truths that need to be addressed. Like the fact that you two (Big Bill & Bryan Keith) have been under the branches of The Learning Tree for far too long without using the wisdom that I’ve bestowed upon you. I need to ask you why I have to keep telling you time and time again to prove yourselves, I’m sick of asking! You need to think if it’s worthy for you to still be with Chris Jericho.

“If you think that, then it’s time for you to make some drastic changes, and go prove yourselves to me! Once again, for the last time, PROVE IT!” Bill & Keith quietly walk off, and Jericho turns his attention back to the camera. Bandido got his brother’s mask back, congrats. But it isn’t Gravity’s mask that Jericho wants, it’s Bandido’s! Jericho wants Bandido to feel the disgrace and humiliation that his brother did when Jericho tore that mask off in front of their family! And why would Bandido put up the mask? Jericho knows Bandido wants to be ROH World Champion again, so how about this? Title VS Mask for Dynasty!

Bandido, is it worth risking the humiliation? Is it risking the disgrace? Is it worth making your mother cry again when you lose the mask? Is it worth it? Jericho thinks so. See you at Dynasty. The Nueve is ready to risk it all, but will he be the one to lose it all in just 11 days?

MJF is here!

St. Paul is torn as the Scumbag walks out, mic already in hand. MJF goes to the ring, shows off MVP’s business card, then has them cut his music. MJF says, “Much like Michael Jackson’s legacy is far more important than that talentless hack named Prince…” MJF grins as the fans boo… “My words are far more important than everybody watching on their cheap TV sets in their trailer parks at home, and it’s damn sure more important than each and every one of yours.” The fans boo more, but MJF says, “Let’s play a game, okeh, Minnesota? We’re gonna shut the hell up. You think we can pull that off?” The fans boo, so no.

MJF says that’s what he thought. MJF tells MVP that he’s been looking at the card for two weeks straight. And he would like for them to have a little chit-chat so MJF can give an answer. MJF invites MVP out, and the fans cheer as the head of The Hurt Syndicate makes his way out here! Montel Vontavious Porter likes the fans singing along, “We Hurt~ People!” and chanting “M V P! M V P!” MJF says the thing we can agree on is that MVP is a legend in the sport of professional wrestling. And is that a new cane? That’s gorgeous! The fans cheer that, and MJF tells MVP that after everything with Adam Cole, MJF promised he would never do “friends” in this again.

And MJF has known “Montel” a very long time, and if there is one thing MJF has learned about him, it’s that when MVP clocks in, he doesn’t do friends, either. MVP does business. MJF has been looking at the card for a long time, and he has made a decision. The decision is… MJF would like to be in the business of hurting people. MJF offers a handshake, MVP checks if he means it, and wait! The rest of the Hurt Syndicate is here! The fans fire up as Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin bring their AEW World Tag Team Championships to the ring. Lashley looks MJF right in the eyes while the fans again sing the song, “We Hurt~ People!”

And then Lashley offers a handshake! MJF asks if Lashley means that, and he says up top! But then Lashley explains that he wants the card. What? The card, Max. Hand it over. MJF says okay, here. MJF gives the card back to Lashley, and then Lashley looks to MVP and Shelton. Lashley hands MVP his belt to hold, and then he RIPS UP THE CARD! MJF says okay, does Lashley wanna go? They can do this now! MVP says no, no, they’re cool. MJF asks MVP what’s going on. He thought they were cool. MVP says yeah, they’re cool, they’re cool. He has Lashley stand down, and MJF says okay, they can talk later.

MJF steps out, the fans boo, and even MVP seems a bit unsure why Lashley pulled MJF’s card. MVP says business never sleeps, and that they know they can trust him. But wait! Bryan Keith & Big Bill walk out here? The Bad Apple tells everyone to hold on. “So I guess it is true. Hurt people do in fact hurt people. But don’t worry, we ain’t out here to join your little group therapy session. We got real business to attend to!” Bill takes the mic, but MVP tells him to get his “lil’ b*tch” back on the leash so the men can talk. Bill keeps Keith calm, and he says he sees the Hurt Syndicate standing in the ring with the tag titles, but he doesn’t see a challenger. MVP says, “Me neither!”

Bill wants to tell MVP something. MVP wants to run his mouth? MVP wants to come out here with his cane and his business cards, but Bill can’t tell if he’s American Psycho or Iceberg Slim. Is he a pimp or a businessman? MVP says he’s a bit o’ both, and he’ll make his boys turn The Learning Tree into their b*tches if Bill keeps running his mouth. Bill says all he sees is a chump, and the MVP of being Lashley’s b*tch. No, we established who the b*tch was, but if Bill wants to go on about this… Bill says they should talk over the tag team titles. Bill was once a tag team champion, and he was never pinned nor never submitted for those titles!

Bill’s partner got pinned by Sting, and then Sting ran off and retired before ever granting Bill a rematch. Shelton says they don’t care! Bill says how about this. He and Keith need to prove themselves to Jericho, so Bill will take his rematch, so that The Learning Tree will take those titles! MVP laughs, and says Bill’s a comedian. But since Bill and his “girlfriend” want a shot, they should actually win a match! Then they can talk about an opportunity for the titles. MVP goes to leave, Lashley stares down Bill, and then the Hurt Syndicate heads out. Who will The Redwood have to take down to prove he and the Bad Apple are ready for this fight?

Backstage interview with Thunder Rosa & Toni Storm.

Renee Paquette is with La Mera Mera & the Timeless AEW Women’s World Champion, and brings up tonight’s main event. #ThunderStorm reunites for the first time in three YEARS, and they take on Penelope Ford and Toni’s future challenger, Megan Bayne. Yes, Toni remembers it well. They were so young, so unafraid. Nothing’s really changed. Rosa says no, everything has changed. Toni’s certainly changed! She has a butler now! And let’s not forget, the last time they worked together, Toni knocked Rosa out and tried to erase the face paint off Rosa’s face. Oh, we all make mistakes in the heat of passion.

Well, then make no mistake. Because Rosa wants what she never lost. Toni tells Rosa, “Enough of this gay banter. Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford, you two slop tarts are about to get double teamed like you’ve never dreamed!” Rosa plays along and says yes! Tonight, the games are over! Tonight, they fight! Tonight, you meet the team of… THUNDER TITS! W-What? No, it’s Thunder Storm. Not anymore! Strap yourselves in, girls, it’s gonna be a bumpy night. Well, whatever the team name, will Thunder & Storm strike down The Megasus & Superbad Girl?

Kyle Fletcher w/ Don Callis VS Brody King!

The Protostar may have lost to Will Ospreay at Revolution, but he’s ready to redeem himself and rise back up the ranks. Will the Aussie Arrow shoot down this Hound of Hell? Or will Kyle come to understand why Brody is the King of Death?

Callis doesn’t join commentary, they don’t have the equipment ready, so he just throws Schiavone’s own notes at him. The fans tell Callis off, then they cheer on Brody. Kyle claims he needs a second with his tearaway pants, but then he BOOTS Brody instead! The ref rings the bell, Kyle fires off stomps, but he stops at 4. Kyle soaks up the heat, then OFF COME THE PANTS! Kyle flexes, but Brody stalks up behind him! The fans bark, Callis tells Kyle to turn around. Kyle soaks up more heat, but then he turns around into a CHOP! Brody drags Kyle up, CHOPS him again, and Kyle goes to a corner. Brody fires forearms again and again to sit Kyle down!

Brody digs his boot in, the ref counts, and Brody stops. Kyle flops out of the ring and St. Paul cheers Brody on. Brody paces while he waits on Kyle, and Callis gives Kyle a shoulder rub. Kyle rises, the fans tell Callis off, and Kyle hobbles around the way. Kyle slides in, but Brody drags Kyle up! Brody CHOPS Kyle, brings him around to scoop and SLAM! Then Brody runs to SENTON! Kyle sputters and the fans bark again. Brody drags Kyle back up, eggs him on, so Kyle CHOPS! And CHOPS! But Brody CHOPS and Kyle falls back! Kyle goes to the ropes, Brody stands him up to CHOP again! Brody runs, but Kyle follows! CALF KICK!

Brody sputters against the ropes and Callis cheers. Kyle stomps away at the ropes, but stops as the ref counts. The fans boo but Kyle drags Brody up. Kyle whips, but Brody blocks! Brody then swings, but Kyle dodges. Brody blocks the boot, and he LARIATS Kyle up and out! Kyle flops to the floor and the fans are thunderous! Brody has everyone barking as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Callis is worried for Kyle as Brody storms out and drags him up. Brody whips Kyle hard into barriers, then high-fives the fans. Brody brings Kyle around to whip hard into railing! Kyle is upside-down, Brody high-fives more fans, and then Brody stands on Kyle! Brody flexes, the fans cheer, but the ref reprimands. Brody steps off, then he drags Kyle up. Callis keeps his distance mostly out of fear, and Brody whips Kyle into more railing! Brody holds Kyle up for photo ops, then he CHOPS! Kyle flops up and over into the front row! The ref has Brody give them space while he checks on Kyle. Kyle is okay to continue, but Brody just CHOPS him again!

Kyle ends up in the second row now, and Brody tells him night-night. Kyle manages to sit up, so Brody drags him back to the railing. Brody suplexes Kyle to the floor! Kyle sputters, but Brody puts him back in the ring. Brody climbs to the apron, but Kyle runs in and CALF KICKS him down! Brody stumbles backwards into the desk! Brody hobbles, Callis creeps up, but then Brody barks and scares Callis off. Kyle runs out to CLUB Brody on the back! Kyle puts Brody back in the ring and Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans again tell Callis off, but Kyle taunts Brody. Brody leans against the ropes, Kyle brings him up, but Brody CHOPS!

Kyle sputters, but he KNEES low! Kyle fires knee after knee into Brody, then soaks up the heat. Kyle stands Brody up, but Brody CHOPS again! And again! And again! Kyle BOOTS in return! Kyle whips, but Brody blocks again! So Kyle ROCKS Brody with a forearm! Kyle whips, Brody reverses, but Kyle ducks ‘n’ dodges! Only to run into a BIG BOSS MAN SLAM! The fans fire up while both men are down, and a standing count starts already. Brody rises at 4 of 10, the fans bark, and Kyle sputters back up. Brody LARIATS Kyle back down! And LARIATS him again! And then CHOPS! Kyle rebounds, into a BACKDROP!

The fans fire up as Kyle flounders out of the ring. Brody slashes his throat, builds speed, and DIVES! Direct hit and down goes Kyle! The fans lose their minds, that was literally the biggest tope possible! Brody stands Kyle up, whips him back into barriers, and Kyle takes a seat in the corner. Brody makes sure to position Kyle just right, and CHOPS him again! Brody barks, the fans join in, and Brody gets space. Brody runs in from the ramp, but Kyle jumps at him! Brody caches Kyle with one hand! Brody scoops, but Kyle slips free to POST Brody! And then he RAMS Brody into the barriers! Kyle goes to the apron, takes aim, and he PENALTY KICKS!

Brody staggers and drops to a knee. Kyle goes into the ring and he DIVES! Direct hit and Brody hits barriers hard! The fans fire up while both men are down on the ground! Callis coaches Kyle, St. Paul rallies for Brody, but Brody is dazed while Kyle rolls into the ring. The ring count is already 5 of 10, then 7! Callis wants the count to be faster, but Brody is up at 8! Brody rolls in, but Kyle is up top! Kyle aims and MACHO ELBOWS! Cover, TWO!! Brody survives and the fans fire up! Kyle begs that the count was wrong, but no, that was fair. Kyle drags Brody up, reels him in, but Brody fights the suplex! Brody then hits a CORNER EXPLODER!

Kyle sputters and flounders, and Brody stalks him to the apron. Brody drags Kyle up and reels him in, but Kyle fights the lift! Kyle is free to SUPERKICK! And SUPERKICK! But Brody still fireman’s carries! APRON DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! Both men fall to the floor, the fans lose their minds, and Dynamite goes picture in picture again.

Kyle checks his arms to make sure they’re working, and Brody also stirs. Callis and the ref argue, but there was nothing illegal about what Brody did. The ring count starts, Callis seems to still complain about stuff, and both men are slowly rising at 5 of 10. Brody stands at 7, rolls in, and Kyle stands at 8! Kyle lunges in at 9! The ref checks with Kyle to make sure he’s still in this, and Kyle nods as he slowly sits up. Kyle shakes out the stars going around his head, and Brody hobbles over to him. Brody stands Kyle up, ROCKS him, and Kyle staggers back to the ropes. Brody eggs Kyle on, and Kyle rises back up.

Kyle winds up to ROCK Brody! Brody ROCKS Kyle, and Kyle drops to a knee! Kyle rises to fire another forearm, but there’s far less behind it. Brody ROCKS Kyle again, Dynamite again returns to single picture, and Brody fires more shots! Kyle fires back, the shots pick up speed, and Kyle fires a flurry! But Brody ROCKS him with just one! Kyle swings, Brody SWATS it, but then Kyle BOOTS and SUPERKICKS! Brody ROLLING ELBOWS! Kyle falls, Brody shakes out the stars, and he drags Kyle up to LARIAT! “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs VS Mark Davis w/ Don Callis!

Dynamite returns as referees, security, and even Christopher Daniels are keeping Hobbs and Davis apart. It seems that AEW officials still need to work out the change in the schedule, they were hoping to do this match a little later. Meanwhile, Callis is finally on commentary to complain that Hobbs was going to assault him, a non-wrestler. Hobbs and Davis storm into the ring, despite the wishes of the refs and Fallen Angel. But fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” Daniels tries to talk Davis and Hobbs down, but Davis and Hobbs just throw security out of the way! Daniels says fine, let’s do it now!

Or will Callis not rest until the Powerhouse is demolished?

Backstage interview with The Patriarchy.

Lexy Nair is with Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne & “Mother Shayna,” but Christian Cage is conspicuous by his absence. Lexy specifically wants to ask Nick this: We’ve seen a big shift in Nick’s attitude both back and forth. He confronted Christian Cage on his excuses about Revolution, but then costs Adam Copeland the title last Wednesday. What is going on with The Patriarchy? Nick says things are starting to make sense to him as to why Christian did what he did at Revolution. But he will wait to speak his thoughts for when he and Christian are face-to-face.

As for last Wednesday, that just goes to show what happens when they’re all on the same page. “And how to properly… I repeat, properly execute a plan.” Nick heads out, Mother Shayna smiles and follows, and Kip… Well, he’s quiet but he still follows the Waynes out. Is The Patriarchy’s Prodigy proving he can be the man of the house?

Backstage interview with Hangman Page.

Renee is with The Cowboy, and notes that last week, he officially entered his name for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The winner of that tournament will challenge for the AEW World Championship at All In: Texas. Now, AEW is in St. Paul tonight, site of- Oh, wait, Swerve Strickland storms in! He knows he only just recovered from the busted eardrum, but did he just hear right that Hangman wants in on Swerve’s world title? Hangman says, “B*tch, did I stutter?” Swerve tells Hangman to not dare even try it! Swerve will end him and he knows what Swerve is capable of! Prince Nana has Swerve stand down, Swerve has his own business to handle.

Swerve and Nana leave, and Hangman snarls. Will Hangman not only win the Owen Hart Cup this year, but finally take back the AEW World Championship? And will it be Swerve who meets him in Texas?

Exclusive sit-down interview with Rated FTR.

It was earlier today that Tony Schiavone sat down with Adam Copeland, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood, and notes that the friendship between these three has been a lot deeper than what we’ve seen on camera. They’re basically next door neighbors, Cope has been responsible for some of FTR’s biggest breaks in their careers. Dax already frowns and shakes his head. Dax apologizes but he wants to interrupt here. He feels that he must address the elephant in the room. Last week, he allowed his emotions to get the better of him. He owes both Adam and Cash an apology for what happened.

Dax just felt that FTR took a break from their goals, their focus, the AEW World Tag Team Championships, for four months, all to help Cope realize his goal of being AEW World Champion. After two tries, it did not happen, which just frustrated Dax. Cope has Dax stop there. The way Dax positioned that, it sounds like Cope is the one who pulled them away from the tag titles. Cope came back to help FTR against the Death Riders after they put bags over FTR’s heads and beat them down. That’s how this all started. It was not Cope’s intention to pull FTR away from anything.

Dax knows, he’s just saying, that’s why he has to apologize. Dax let his emotions get to him, and so he wanted to explain the preface. He just felt that FTR took their eyes off the prize, they were directionless for four months, and it had nothing to do- Cash speaks up now. Cash knows they’ve all let their emotions get the better of them. Cash cannot watch Dax and Cope fight like this while he’s caught in the middle of it. Everyone knows Dax and Cash are best friends, they’ve teamed together for the better part of 11 years. But maybe people don’t know as much about the friendship of Cope and Cash, everything Cope has done for Cash.

Without either of these men, Cash has nothing. When Cash was struggling, nowhere to live, sleeping in his car, Cope gave him a place to live and to be without worry so he could pursue all of this. Cope gave Cash chance after chance, Dax was there for those opportunities, so without either one, Cash doesn’t have this, he isn’t here right now. So he just wants himself and his two best friends to all be on the same page. Dax says t hat’s why he had to apologize. Dax took it too far last week, but he does think that now that they’ve helped Cope realize his goals and done their part, it is time for FTR to get back on theirs.

Dax tells The Hurt Syndicate that the AEW World Tag Team Championships- Cash stops Dax again, and says Cash feels there is still something here. Rated FTR has a lot of life left, and Cash would love if they went after the Trios Championships one more time, to see if they can stop The Death Riders. Cope agrees there. If there’s juice in the tank, then let’s do it. Cope tells The Death Riders, April 6th, Death Riders VS Rated FTR for the Trios Championships. Dax does like the sound of that. #TopGuysOut! Cope adds #RatedFTROut. Cash likes that.

So while Cope could not dethrone Jon Moxley, can he and FTR still free the AEW World Trios Championships? Or will there be no end to the reign of terror?

Swerve Strickland heads to the ring!

St. Paul fires up for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve grabs the mic and says, “Everybody knows exactly why I’m here. I’m here to call out Jon Moxley! Not the Death Riders, the AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley. You better get your ass down here right now and look me eye to eye, man to man, if you’ve got the balls to do so!” The fans fire up, the Death Riders’ theme hits, and The Maniac makes his way through the crowd. Swerve keeps his eyes on Moxley as he draws closer. Nana steps out as Moxley steps in, and Swerve tells Moxley, “I’ve been allowing things to go on like this for far too long.”

People have been asking since October as to why Swerve hasn’t been going after his AEW World Championship. Swerve says he likes to give people just enough rope to hang themselves, and that’s Moxley. Swerve tells him, “Look at you. What happened to you? Jon Moxley used to be revered here in AEW! You and the AEW World Championship used to be synonymous with each other. Now look at you. You hide behind Claudio, you hide behind Wheeler Yuta, you hide behind Pac. Hell, you even hide behind Marina Shafir.” The fans start up another chant for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!”

Swerve says Moxley still has the nerve to say no one else wants to be world champion. But Moxley isn’t even worthy of it himself! And to be honest, Swerve thinks the reason Moxley hides the title in the briefcase is because he can’t even look at it. He can’t even face himself with that on his shoulder any more. Swerve says every time Moxley has a title defense, he narrowly escapes. And last week, he showed the world that. Oh, by the way, how’s Moxley’s back feeling? Moxley smirks, and Swerve says everything about Moxley that he used to be, is standing right here looking at him. The fans cheer Swerve on while Moxley nods.

But CLAUDIO IS BEHIND NANA! The fans freak out, and Moxley smirks. Swerve looks over and sees Claudio! Nana still doesn’t notice, but he starts to sense something’s wrong. Moxley says it’s fine, we’re all chill. And that all sounded great, if you believe it. But this isn’t about Moxley, this is about Swerve. April 6th is really Swerve VS Swerve. It isn’t about Moxley, stop worrying about Moxley. Moxley wants Swerve to ask himself, “Who are you, really? What are you really?” Moxley knows. He listens and watches, hears everything and sees everything, so he knows everything. He knows exactly who and what Swerve is, and he knows what Swerve could be.

And damn, has Moxley had high hopes for Swerve. But he has been disappointed before. On April 6th, Moxley gives Swerve a chance to step in and become everything that he can be. He just has to ask himself one question: “How far am I willing to go?” Not tonight, not just April 6th, but every night. When it is cold and dark and you’re in pain and you’re tired. When the world is baring down on your shoulders and you have no friends left. When everyone else is gone and you have the weight of the entire world on your shoulders. Will you endure? Will you put one foot in front of another? Or will you look for a way out? Will you take others with you?

There are a lot of questions Swerve has to ask himself. Swerve is not what he thinks he is, because he has not suffered enough yet! But he will. “My sport has been taken over by billionaires, Hollywood talent agencies and kids who see the world through an Instagram filter and don’t know their head from their ass! It’s guys like you that give me hope for the future. It’s guys like you that make me think everything I’ve put my mind and my body and my soul through was for a reason.” Fans do seem to like that. Moxley says he won’t give it to Swerve, though. He doesn’t care what kind of “punk ass organization they’re running around here.”

Moxley does not give handouts, so how far is Swerve willing to go? Moxley will go the whole way right now! But that shouldn’t be a problem for Swerve, Swerve is the Most Dangerous Man in AEW, right? Moxley and Swerve circle, but that lets Marina Shafir sneak in! BUT WILLOW APPEARS! Marina has a crowbar, Willow has a pipe, so it is a standoff on the apron! Swerve asks Moxley what’s wrong. Is he finally facing off with someone smarter than him? So let’s get this straight: Moxley wants to talk “unscripted violence” BS? Swerve IS violence! Moxley’s bled pints, Swerve’s bled buckets. Moxley’s been in Texas Death Matches, Swerve’s WON them.

Swerve IS the Most Dangerous Man in AEW! “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” “And in Philadelphia in 11 days, I take back that AEW World Championship, and I continue to lead the Dynasty Era! And while I’m doing that, you can have fun continuing to play Jon Moxley on TV.” Mic drop! The fans fire up again as Swerve and Moxley stare down. It is quite the standoff here, so Moxley has the Death Riders stand down. The clock is ticking, are Moxley’s days as champion numbered? Wait, Marina YANKS Willow down! Marina fires off on Willow, but Willow RAMS Marina into the barriers! Claudio gets Marina out of there, Nana tries to help, but Willow shoves Nana aside!

Willow goes after Marina, even as Claudio carries Marina away! The fans fire up but The Death Riders drag Marina back but fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” Marina is a Problem, but will the Babe with the Power be a problem solver?

The Opps commandeer a camera!

Been a minute since this has happened, but Katsuyori Shibata films while he follows Samoa Joe & Hook. Joe asks Hook a question: last week, Hook sunk in that Redrum for a little bit of time. Is there anything behind that? Nah, just having fun. Fun? Hook smirks and says c’mon. It was Max Caster, a super annoying guy, it’s fun to choke him out. Joe says aight. Anyway, look who it is! Caster is trying to convince AR Fox & Top Flight to all go solo like he did. Shibata slips around so we can see Joe & Hook walk up behind Caster. Caster talks trash on Anthony Bowens, how Bowens is doing nothing after The Acclaimed broke up.

Wow, really, Caster? What? The fans are literally chanting his name! “Let’s Go, Max! You’re the Best Wrestler Alive!” They don’t believe that for a second. Caster then spots Shibata and asks what’s up. Joe snatches Caster into the COQUINA CLUTCH!! Joe puts Platinum Max right to sleep, and then dusts himself off. And then he tells Hook he gets it now. They shake hands, and Joe says what’s up, hometown boys! The Opps shake hands with Top Flight, and say have a good night. Hook says, “To the death.” Shibata’s text-to-speech says, “I see what you did there.” When Caster wakes up, will he realize he really needs to watch what he says?

Backstage interview with Jay White.

Renee is with the Switchblade and says he took a particular interest in Will Ospreay and Hangman Page entering the Men’s Owen Hart Cup. White has history with both men, so where does he stand on this? White says those are some big names. He thinks we should add his name to that, so what better time than now? Jay White officially declares for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament! Last year didn’t work out too well, White losing to Hangman for the first time ever, mostly thanks to Hangman’s “buddy,” Christian Cage. And then White ended up injured, out for four months.

But this year, White will win the cup, go on to All In: Texas, and once again have a shot at the AEW World Championship! And if Hangman or #BillyGoat are lucky enough to cross paths with The Switchblade, so be it. But before we get there, there are plenty of other players backstage that would love to differ with him. How about one of the ORIGINAL Collision Cowboys return to Collision this Saturday. If there’s someone who thinks they’re more deserving of a spot than White, show up and state your case to The Switchblade. White aims his finger gun, who will accept this Open Challenge?

Top Flight w/ AR Fox VS Alex Findley & Devo Knight!

Darius & Dante Martin get a hero’s welcome as the hometown boys for Minnesota! But Lio Rush & Action Andretti are ringside, hoping this homecoming is a horrible one. Will Top Flight win one for Minneapolis? Or will they not like the taste of the Royal Flavuh?

The teams sort out, Darius starts against Devo, and the fans fire up with the bell. Darius and Devo circle, Devo waistlocks but Darius switches to SLAM! Darius then hooks Devo, turns him over to a cover, ONE! Darius spins away from Devo’s sweep, then headlocks. Devo powers up and out, Darius CLOBBERS him, and then brings him up to wrench and CHOP! Devo sputters, but Darius whips him to the corner. We see Big Bill & Bryan Keith are watching this backstage, perhaps scouting a team they can beat to then go after the Hurt Business. Darius runs in at Devo but Devo pops Darius up. Dante tags in, Darius CHOPS Devo, and Dante A-LIST LARIATS!

Darius tags back in, snap suplexes Devo down, then kips up to tag Dante. Dante slingshot SENTONS! The fans fire up but here comes Alex! Dante catches Alex and spins him, Top Flight gives him the LARIAT STO COMBO! Dante TOSSES Alex, then drags Devo up. Devo JAWBREAKERS back, then runs up. Dante ducks the lariat to waistlock, but Devo elbows him away. Dante goes to the ropes, Devo runs up, btu Dante ELBOWS him! Tag to Darius, then Dante goes up and over! Dante eggs Devo on, then blocks his shot for a JAWBREAKER of his own! Darius runs up to DECK Devo, then he BLASTS Alex!

Winners: Top Flight, by pinfall

A great win for the hometown heroes, and BREAKING NEWS from Tony Khan! Top Flight will face Bill & Keith for Collision in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Will The Redwood & Bad Apple sour things for Top Flight to then have their shot at the Hurt Syndicate? As for The Cru, they bark at Top Flight, still wanting their own fight. Will Darius & Dante give Lio & Action more than they bargained for in the near future?

Will Ospreay speaks.

“Ever since I came into AEW, the game has dramatically changed. It is time for me to move AEW into a new generation. Tony Khan is looking for the best in the world, and there’s only one person that fits that criteria, and it’s me. When you hear, ‘This is where the best wrestles,’ nah, bruv. This is where Billy wrestles. This is about restoring the feeling, and bruv, I AM the feeling!” The Aerial Assassin will return to Dynamite next week in Peoria, Illinois, but how will he sharpen that edge before the Owen Hart Tournament begins?

The Death Riders speak.

Wheeler Yuta says, “Rated FTR wants to challenge us to a World Trios Championship match at Dynasty. Dax & Cash, I already hate your guts. But Cope, you’re the most sinister of all. You tried to rip me away from my family. You tried to manipulate me! My family is much stronger than yours.” Claudio tells Rated FTR, “You guys are pathetic. The going gets tough, you bicker and start throwing hissy fits. Is this Kindergarten?” Pac says, “Gentlemen, it’s your arrogance, it’s your cockiness, that we really find hard to stomach. You see, after everything that you’ve done to us in previous weeks, it is you who has the audacity to challenge us?

“Nah. That’s not how things work around here. At AEW Dynasty, it is we that challenge you! We challenge you to survive the Death Riders.” The Decoder, the Swiss Cyborg & the Bastard have given their answer, will no one stop the Death Riders from building their Dynasty?

Backstage interview with The Hurt Syndicate.

Alicia Atout caches up with MVP, Lashley & Shelton and wants to ask them about MJF. Is he in or is he out? Lashley asks for just a moment, please. Alicia steps aside, and Lashley says MVP told them to take a vacation, and then they see MVP hugging it out with MJF?! What’s that about? MVP wants them to understand. After that performance at Revolution, they earned that time off. MVP doesn’t get time off, he had to come to work, because business never stops, money never sleeps. Now, they’ve been talking about adding a fourth member for some time, and MVP made MJF an offer. What’s the problem?

So MVP likes MJF? Yeah. Okay, but this is MJF. The kid’s got a reputation. Shelton & Lashley don’t like it. MJF is grimy, slimy, and not to be trusted. Everyone says that about him. MVP says yeah, MJF has some reprehensible qualities. And that’s why MVP likes him! Those qualities could be good for their business. Now, they’re the Hurt Syndicate. If they really don’t want MJF in, MVP respects the dynamic, they can revisit this. But right now, let’s focus on the Big Bill situation. Are they all on the same page there? Call it. Let’s hurt people. The Syndicate heads out, but will they accept the Scumbag into the fold? Or will they find someone more suited to their business plans?

What a shocker! The Megasus just pinned the AEW Women’s World Champion! Ford celebrates with Megan, will the AEW Women’s World Championship soon belong to them?

My Thoughts:

A great episode of Dynamite, really jampacked, but also maybe a little too packed? I believe the vast majority of the women’s tag match main event was in the overrun. I know this is all live TV and TNT/TBS lets them have the overrun, but clearly something went way too long if the main event is right before the two hour mark. That aside, still a great main event that also had a great promo from ThunderStorm/Thunder Tits. I knew it’d been a long time since Thunder & Storm were on the same side, but I didn’t realize it’d already been three YEARS. Either way, Megan winning here makes sense, Toni is logically the underdog champion. This is very much Toni’s Rocky VS Drago in Rocky 4, and I’m sure Toni will persevere and win just like Rocky Balboa.

Very good opening match from Omega VS Blake, but of course Omega was winning. I’m unsure why Lee Johnson is suddenly Blake Christian’s pal. Did something happen to the #LEEJ team-up with EJ Nduka? But good promos from Omega, Bailey and Ricochet to hype up their Triple Threat, and we’ve still got the go-homes to go, who knows who wins at Dynasty. Good promo from Jericho to call out Bandido while also talking down to Bill & Keith. I suppose I should’ve foreseen Jericho wanting Title VS Mask as the blowoff, that’s not a bad choice. But then all the more reason Bandido wins the title and sends Jericho off into a spiral where he gets mad at Bill & Keith more.

That said, Bill & Keith confronting The Hurt Syndicate is a bold move. MVP logically gives him the same deal he gave The Outrunners and The Murder Machines, and while Top Flight is good, I would think The Cru costs Dante & Darius their match this Saturday. Good win for Top Flight here in their home state, though it was of course against jobbers. Their segment with Fox, Caster and The Opps was really good stuff, too. I wonder if Caster calls out Joe as if he even stands a chance, all because of his arrogance as the self-proclaimed Best Wrestler Alive. Still waiting on Bowens to return and challenge Caster.

Back to the Hurt Syndicate, I’m intrigued with how they didn’t outright accept nor reject MJF. MVP wants to give MJF a chance, maybe something happens closer to Dynasty, and I’m not even really sure which works out better. Jay White had a good promo to declare for the Owen Hart Cup, and he’ll have a great match against Kevin Knight this Saturday. Swerve confronting Hangman before then confronting Moxley was good stuff. I’m sure I’ve said something like this before, but while Moxley always gets his promos out, he needs to get it out in more concise ways. The fans in St. Paul certainly weren’t in the mood for Moxley to monologue again. But they perfectly had that chess game going, with Claudio checking Nana while Willow checked Marina. That Mixed Tag will be a lot of fun.

Very good promo from Nick Wayne, but here’s hoping TK writes Patriarchy’s story right. Nick Wayne is making it sound like he’s siding with Christian, but since Nick wants to wait to share his thoughts, he must surely be waiting to turn on Christian. It needs to happen, we can’t have Nick going Stockholm Syndrome like Yuta did with Death Riders. Very good promo from Death Riders to call out Rated FTR, and Rated FTR had a very good promo of their own. Dax was rather passive aggressive about not becoming tag champs again while helping Cope fight the Death Riders, so I feel like the trios title causes FTR to turn on Cope.

The Don Callis Family sure did a lot tonight, and gave us three great matches. It makes sense the Callis Family went 2-1. Kyle beating Brody was fine, Kyle needed to rebound. But he didn’t give us an answer on what’s next for him like he promised on Collision. And where was Okada to harp on Brody King losing to him? Maybe that happens on Collision this week. Hobbs being the one loss the DCF took also makes sense, as Hobbs might still be feuding with them to get through all their ranks and build momentum towards a title. Konosuke VS Briscoe was awesome, and a great win for Konosuke given he’s still NEVER Openweight Champion. I wonder if Hobbs and Konosuke also get in on the Owen Hart Cup…

My Score: 8.9/10
