There have been some rumblings that Daniel Bryan could move to NXT. That is a mighty fine reason to fantasy book the top 6 rivalries for Captain Yes.

6. Swerve Scott This is too much. I continue to get overlooked, while a washed up vanilla midget comes out of retirement to steal my spotlight? This is Swerve’s House and Swerve does not appreciate uninvited guests. Daniel, everybody else looks up to you, but Swerve is not everybody else. When I’m done beating the brakes off of you, you’ll be begging to go back to Smackdown.  

5. Johnny Gargano Daniel, I used to respect you. I used to look up to you. I used to want to be like you. Now I look back and hate myself for ever wanting to be anybody but Johnny Garagno, Johnny Wrestling, Johnny Freaking Takeover! I am better than you ever were. You aren’t the Daniel Bryan from 10 years ago, and I certainly am not the Johnny Gargano from 10 years ago. I can think of no greater accomplishment in this industry than to beat you back into retirement.

4. Pete Dunne I told everybody I was the best technical wrestler in the company, and nobody yet has proven me wrong. I ran out of competition, so what do they do? They bring in the American Dragon. I come from the land of dragons, and they call me the Dragon Slayer. So if Mr. Bryan thinks he’s still got what it takes, he can sign his name on the dotted line and I’ll prove him wrong, just like all the rest. 

3. MSK MSK lets Bryan know how excited they are to see him back in NXT. They say it’s too bad he’s a singles guy, because they would love to give him a shot at their tag team titles. Bryan says thanks for the offer & he’ll ask around for a partner. Next week, he says he’s found someone who loves NXT as much as he does…someone who loves coming back to NXT as much as he does…someone the NXT universe loves as much as he does…Kevin Owens!!!

2. KUSHIDA KUSHIDA in 2016 (an actual quote): “My greatest wish would be to wrestle Daniel Bryan, but since he is retired, I would love to sit down and talk Japanese wrestling with him.” 

KUSHIDA in 2021: Daniel, now that you are no longer retired, I would be honored if you would fulfill my greatest wish and face me at Takeover.

1. Tyler Bate Mr. Bryan, Worlds Collide is in a few weeks, and I don’t have a proper opponent. Maybe you and I could entertain the people with a friendly. There’s one bloke in particular who writes a weekly wrestling column, says he’d cry tears of joy if we made this happen. He seems like a decent chap, so what say we put a smile on his face and give it a go.

That’s why they call it FANTASY booking.
