6. MSK are the best curtain jerkers since the Hardy Boyz. The first match is just as important as the main event. It fires up the crowd & sets the tone for the evening. 5. I was actually expecting better than 4.3 from MSK & Members Only, the team name I’ve given Ciampa and Thatcher in honor of their sweet matching jackets. The jackets need more love. Great match, abrupt ending. It felt like it needed five more minutes to put it into greatness territory. If only they didn’t waste so much time on Hit Row. Speaking of…

4. Don’t get me wrong. Hit Row is great. Swerve Scott deserves all the hype, but their cypher celebration was the most boring thing I’ve seen in NXT since Karrion Kross’ intro. It felt like it was never going to end. What was it supposed to accomplish?  

3. Anybody could have a move called the K360. Only Zoey Stark can have a move called ZTS, Zoe To Sleep. From this moment, her tilt-a-whirl GTS (which is all kinds of bad ass) will be called the ZTS.      

2. Some people are saying his GAB effort against Cameron Grimes was La Knight’s best match so far. If your best match was just average, that’s a problem. He does nothing memorable between the ropes. I don’t expect everyone to hit 450 splashes & top rope poison ranas. I do expect something more than a move set from 1986. Knight is the worst thing you can be in wrestling: boring.  

1. As for Cameron Grimes, if they play this right his stint at Knight’s butler will make him the biggest star in NXT. He works his ass off in everything he does, and the fans love him for it. Now he’s got their sympathy. Management can choose who to force down our throats, ooooor they can listen to the fans and reward the wrestlers who get the biggest reactions. If I was them, I know what I would do.
