Patrick returns to the show this week just in time for The Boys to return as well. The guys review the first two Episodes of Season 3 and let’s just say that the Amazon Prime mega-hit is still every bit as insane and awesome as it was at the end of Season 2. The fellas take a quick trip to the Trailer Park then analyze some News Around The Nerdosphere including a change in philosophy for Netflix, the possibility of a Marvel Convention, and whether disgruntled fans unfairly review bombed the latest Episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi? Speaking of fandom, the back half of the Episode mulls over a topic that has been more in the conversation lately: Have franchises like Star Wars & the MCU become too big for their own good? Is it too hard to keep up with everything going on with these franchises? Do you really need to watch everything to get the most enjoyment out of the franchises? Have we gotten to the point where we just have too much of a good thing? The guys take on these topics might be an eye opener for some fans out there and you won’t want to miss it.

2024 has been quite the year for your favorite Nerds. But as 2025 approaches, it is time to say Happy New Year and there is no better way to do that than with some New Years Resolutions….BWN style. On this Episode, the guys offer up some of their hopes for the new year, including who they hope will become a breakout star in 2025, some things they want to see happen for streaming services, and some biting commentary on fandoms, including some of the m0st toxic fandoms you will find anywhere. But they guys also have some New Year’s Resolutions for some of your (and our) favorites such as the MCU, DCU, Star Wars, and streaming services. Along the way, the guys address the news that The Batman, Part 2, has been delayed, yet again. Is there reason to be concerned….or could something larger be in play here?

Christmas Week is here and the Nerds invite you to the greatest Holiday Party of all-time! In a very special Episode, the Nerds were tasked with a fun endeavor: Plan a Holiday Party featuring characters from the vastness of the Nerdosphere and then, once the planning was done, tell their fellow Nerds how the party unfolded. The guys let their imaginations run wild and tell you all about it on this Episode. Who had too much Holiday Nog? Who brought the best gifts? Who brought the worst? What band or DJ was hired to entertain the guests? It is a Holiday celebration like no other here on BWN. Plus, the teaser trailer for James Gunn’s Superman debuted this week and was watched by, well, a lot of people. The guys have many thoughts about their first look into the first movie of the new DCU. Is there a reason to be hopeful? Tune in and find out.
