Will Hangman be denied a title match at Forbidden Door? Will Bullet Club take over NJPW and the world?

My Thoughts:

What an event for NJPW! I still skipped everything non-title, but if I’d known Yano was going to beat Gallows in just four minutes, I would’ve kept it. Bullet Club and United Empire were both strong tonight, setting up big Junior Heavyweight title matches. There’s a chance Six or Nine (Taguchi & Wato) manage to retain the tag titles since they lost here, and there’s a very good chance Hiromu takes the singles title off Taiji since LIJ lost here, too. I should’ve expected the House of Torture to retain the NEVER Openweight Six Man titles, Suzuki-Gun put up a good fight but that combo of Desperado, Kanemaru & ZSJ just didn’t feel like the right combo.

Great to see that Khan & Cobb got the heavyweight tag titles back, though at the same time, Chase & Fale not having anything to show for the night in the big group celebration kinda hurt Bullet Club’s dominance. But I hope this brings about a feud between Empire and Bullet Club to push both factions forward this summer. For one, what a STACKED G1 Climax this year. For another, Ospreay VS Sanada for the title Juice held. Juice will surely want that belt back, though not sure if he’ll be 100% in two weeks to have a match at Forbidden Door. At the same time, Forbidden Door is about NJPW VS AEW, maybe Juice waits to see who wins before making a move. But I would totally expect Juice VS Ospreay for that title at some point.

Tanahashi winning against Goto to go to the Interim AEW World Championship match was expected but that was a great match all the same. Tanahashi VS Moxley is going to be great stuff, too, but I would think Moxley wins to keep the AEW title in AEW. Takagi VS Taichi in that scramble match was great stuff, I really like Takagi’s ideas for these matches. It makes sense he wins to keep the trophy, who knows who steps up next. Tama VS Anderson was great stuff, especially with how they’re both Founding Fathers of Bullet Club and Tama was the young guy Anderson helped get going in NJPW. Anderson winning with cheating should’ve been expected, but still good for Anderson as he has always come close but had yet to win singles belts.

Already mentioned Sanada VS Ospreay but that was an awesome match. And the world title, Okada VS White, was an awesome match, too. Really cerebral but also really physical, and of course Gedo gets involved where he can. White winning was quite the shocker, as was White, a Heel, being able to get fans to defy Japan’s COVID regulations and make noise with their mouths. White of course refuses to defend his title against Hangman, that’s a very Heel move, but I bet that Hangman will still get his shot at the IWGP World Championship. Much like AEW keeping the (albeit interim) AEW World Championship, I would think White retains the IWGP title, no matter who AEW puts up against him. But you can bet White VS Hangman will be amazing because there’s history there.

My Score: 9.2/10

A standing ovation here in Korakuen as the Mad Man serves his brand of justice! Will the House of Torture back out of this Civil War while they can? As for Gabe, he stands tall with his NJPW Strong Openweight Championship, then takes a moment to catch his breath. But you all understand…> F HOUSE OF TORTURE!” The fans do understand and they cheer it. Gabe says there are a lot of people claiming to lead this company forward, from Shota to Tsuji to Yuya. It’s not them, it’s GABE EFFIN’ KIDD!

The fans cheer that, respecting Gabe’s hardcore loyalty! Gabe says in 2025, the New Japan Cup winner will be GABE KIDD!! “Taichi, <I’m coming for you, punk!>” Mic drop and the fans go wild! Will this Mad Man truly lead the way for NJPW’s future?

My Thoughts:

A great start to New Japan Cup after an apparent broken corner post forced the actual opening night of March 7th to be canceled. Four matches for the Cup in one night is good stuff, though, really got the fans fired up.  I do like that among the tune-up tag matches, we got an 8 Man Tag between members of the newly unified Hontai-Chaos faction to help hype Goto VS Nagata. And after Desperado wins his Six Man Tag, Connors calling him out for a Hardcore match with the Junior Heavyweight title on the line is good stuff. Who knows how that goes, but I could see the War Dogs grabbing up some gold real quick to spice up their feud with House of Torture.

Speaking of Bullet Club, they as a whole were 1-3 on the night, but Evil winning makes sense if he is to be strong enough to be THE leader of Bullet Club. Yuya getting that win off Sanada was great stuff, Sanada’s been building up that comeuppance karma for a long time so here it is. Oiwa VS Chase was really good, and that was a really good win for Oiwa. Gabe VS Ren was awesome stuff, even the usual House of Torture overbooking because it allowed Taiji & Drilla to make that save. Gabe winning was the right call, because despite not being a Reiwa Era Musketeer, despite being Japanese, Gabe has the hot hand, the fans love him. And though he’s an anti-hero kind of character, he really does want NJPW to be the best by still doing what made the company popular in the first place.

My Score: 9/10

Adam Copeland speaks.

“I make you nervous, Moxley. You don’t like having guys like me around. Guys that have done more than you, been around longer than you, paid more dues than you. It threatens your manhood or something, and it should. Now Mox, you said all I had to do was ask for a fight, and I did, but you dodged me. You hid behind your Death Riders. And then I finally realized, you’re afraid. You’re afraid of losing the AEW World Championship, because with the championship, we all have to sit through your word salad diatribes that just go around in circles. But without it, you’ve got no juice.

“And it’s not too long before your sycophants realized that you’re just a false martyr. You’re just a spin doctor. You’re not a messiah. Well, Death Riders are gone, man. We took ’em out. And Yuta, he finally seems to be doing some soul searching and realized the succubus you are. So here’s what I need. I need the Jon Moxley that set this industry on fire when he first came to AEW, not this coward. I need the Moxley who’s not afraid to go toe to toe with me. I need the Moxley who’s not afraid to get in the trenches, who’s not afraid to suffer. Because you will. And I know I will, too, but I’m a masochist, I get off on it.

“But I’m also not kidding myself. I have been in hundreds of world title matches over the last 32 years, and I know. I know that time is running out. I know that this could be the last time I ever fight for a world title. So I have to make this count. What I’ve got going for me is there’s no expiring on purpose, there’s no expiring on passion, there’s no expiring on grit, I’ve got all of those in spades, Moxley. So here it is, man. Cope VS Mox, one on one for the first time ever, for the AEW World Championship at Revolution! I have to do this. Los Angeles, see you soon.” Cope is ready, but will he make Revolution Rated R?

Will Ospreay speaks.

The Aerial Assassin finishes being checked by the trainer, and then sets the icepack down. “The pain that I’m feeling right now, the pain I’m feeling physically, does not equate to what I feel mentally right now. The torture that I feel in my brain right now. I feel lost, I feel confused, I feel anxious that I am entering a match physically spent, emotionally spent, entering a match that I’ve never participated in in my entire flippin’ career, against someone I called my flippin’ brother. Tonight on my left arm, I wore my armband that symbolizes the United Empire.

“But as I was packing my bags, I saw that armband in the top corner, and I brought that down, and I wore it on my arm to hope that there’s some little symbol, there’s some little part of you that’s still in there. That band. That band of brotherhood, mate. It’s not just a faction, it’s a band of boys that looked after each other. Me, Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis, Jeff Cobb, The Great-O-Khan, Henare, Francesco Akira, TJ Perkins, Callum Newman, Gideon Grey. All of us together took over Japan. Young, hungry boys that only cared about each other.

“And one year, mate, one year ago, at Revolution, after I defeated Takeshita, and I saw my best friend, a man that I put in my home, a man that has picked up my son with me… Met me ringside, and I knew we was gonna get the band back together. I knew we was gonna get the boys in and we were gonna take over AEW. But that ain’t the case now. No longer are we taking over AEW as the United Empire. Now, we’re standing in opposite corners, and this time, we are locked inside of a steel cage. And I’m coming into this like a wounded animal, bruv. A wounded animal, locked inside a cage, backed into a corner, I got no choice but to fight!

“I’ve got no choice but to look at my brother, a man that I loved, loved him more than anything in this world, that I would do anything for ya! And instead, I have to fight back. I have to fight with every ounce of energy that is in my body. And know this, Kyle. Know that with every bit of love that I had for you, every knife that you stabbed in my back, I will stab you right back! I will grate up your face across that flippin’ cage! I will end this once and for all! Because my name is Will Ospreay, and I am on! Another! LEVEL!” The Aerial Assassin steels his heart before stepping inside that steel, but will he be able to end The Protostar?

Harley Cameron VS Tatevik Hunanyan!

Though she lost at Grand Slam: Australia, this wild Aussie has been getting wins on TV, on the Jericho Cruise, and even named her finishing move… uh, well, Her Finishing Move! But will we continue to #FeelTheWrath? Or is the hot streak going to cool off for the Spring?

The moment Harley’s in the ring, Tatevik CLOBBERS her! The fans boo, the bell rings, but Tatevik DRIBBLES Harley off the mat! Tatevik stomps Harley, rains down fists, and the fans chant “FEEL THE WRATH!” The ref reprimands but Tatevik soaks up all the heat from Sacramento. Then she runs, rolls off Harley’s back, and ROUNDHOUSES! Then RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Tatevik drags Harley up by her hair, SMACKS her off the mat, but the fans rally for Harley even harder.

Harley runs, YOU’RE A WIZARD, HARLEY! The fans fire up with Harley and she takes aim. Tatevik swings, Harley wrenches her, for HER FINISHING MOVE!! Cover, Harley wins!

Tatevik tried to take the fight to Harley, but she still felt the wrath! Could Her Finishing Move be the key to Harley finally becoming a champion in AEW?

Kyle Fletcher speaks.

“The thing that I love most in this entire world is dropping people on their heads. And the only thing that makes it just a little bit better is doing it looking like a million bucks. And the only, only, only thing that makes it just a little bit sweeter is when I get to do it to Will Ospreay. Now, Will, you talk about this Steel Cage Match on Sunday like it’s some stepping stone. Like once it’s out of the way, you can finally make your way to the world championship and face Moxley to save this company. But you could not be more wrong. You are and always have been the one standing in MY way. In the way of me achieving my destiny.

“Now, prophecy says that when this is all down, I will be remembered as the greatest professional wrestler of all time. And Will, I’m sorry, but all your accomplishments, they mean nothing. Because all you’ll be remembered as is Kyle Fletcher’s greatest rival. And now, this band, this band that I ripped off your lifeless body, is supposed to represent a brotherhood? United Empire. But just like the United Empire, this thing is a facade. Because all it is is a way for you to stroke your own ego! And this Sunday, there will be no brothers in your corner. You are being locked in the lion’s den, and this lion has been starved far, far too long.

“I am hungry for revenge! Those fans, they can chant ‘Ospreay! Ospreay!’ all they want, until they are blue in the face, but it means nothing! Because I will paint that ring, that canvas, that steel cage in red with your blood. And I want you to remember all the pain that you have caused me all these years, because I am going to return it this Sunday a thousand fold. And don’t forget that you asked for this. Now say my full name.” Kyle Fletcher is determined to destroy Ospreay, but what will it cost him in return?

The Infantry regroups, they double whip Kyle, but Kyle grabs ropes!

Kyle TOSSES Dean, SOBATS Carlie, and tags Roddy! Kyle has PENALTY KICK for Carlie while Roddy WRECKS Dean with a dropkick! Roddy shouts to “KYYYLE~!” SWEEP THE LEG!! Cover, Undisputed Kingdom wins!

Winners: Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong, by pinfall

Another big win for this dynamic duo, could Kyle & Roddy make the entire AEW Tag Division undisputed on the other side of Revolution?

The Don Callis Family speaks.

Calils says since he and Konosuke Takeshita have joined forces, “Life is good, brother. Life is very good.” They’re on a ride, and Kenny will not interrupt it. They called Omega the “God of Wrestling,” but there’s a new god! Because he is here, each and every day, defending the AEW International title while Kenny Omega, God bless him, no ill will here, sits in a hospital bed with tubes coming out of his stomach! How long until those guts explode? And at Revolution, that will be the last match, the last time, that the wrestling world sees Kenny Omega! Because “they” won’t just beat Omega a third time, they will END him!

AEW hears from Bandido & Gravity.

After the ambush beatdown by The Learning Tree last Thursday on ROH, The Most Wanted tells them that while he doesn’t know their problem with him and his brother, just know that they won’t get away acting like cowards! Fight them like men! Gravity tells Jericho, if you want to finish things with him and his brother, meet him at Revolution! Bandido asks if Gravity is sure about that. Si, carnal! Gravity wants Jericho 1v1 at Revolution, for the ROH World Championship!! The Space Cowboys are ready to ride into the City of Angels, but can Gravity bring down The Nueve?

Jon Moxley speaks.

“Adam Copeland and I are so different. We are not the same animal. We are barely the same species. But it’s funny how much we do have in common. Copeland came up the hard way. Poverty, starvation, drives across frozen lakes. We’re the last of a dying breed, you and I. On the road every single night, busting your ass through injuries. Through every obstacle they want to throw in your path. Chasing a dream, this fantasy. You can’t see, but you can feel it in your heart, you can almost feel it on your fingertips. The dream is to one day wrap that gold around your waist, feel that gold in your hands, to be world champion.

“That’s what drives you, man. That passion, that drive, every single night. You’d sacrifice it all for one more chance to play the game. Once you get there, man, you don’t wanna give it up for anything. That’s what this is about. Respect, hmm? I want to respect Adam Copeland, I want to like Adam Copeland, I really do. And I really tried. But, I just don’t get what you’re about, man. And when I get my hands around your busted neck, and I will, should I show you mercy? Would you show me mercy? Did you show my people mercy?

“When you hear the sound of your spinal column busting and cracking and popping and breaking, and you hear that sound reverberating in your skull and your eardrums…! You will feel what respect feels like.” The Maniac has said his piece, but will there be any piece of either man left after tomorrow night?

FTR meets with Daniel Garcia and The Undisputed Kingdom.

Cash Wheeler tells the group that they asked them all here because after last week, that wasn’t FTR’s best presentation. After Dynamite last week, then losing to them on Collision in a match they should’ve won, emotions ran high, that’s their bad. FTR is more professional that that. Dax Harwood says not him. He doesn’t apologize for not shaking hands. The only thing he apologizes for is stooging himself off to the referee. Kyle & Roddy were in the ring with the absolute best team last week, and the absolute best team should’ve won last week. Roddy asks “KYLE~!” if he hears this. Because Roddy’s pretty sure the best tag team did win last week.

Kyle says too true. But Kyle says one way or another, that victory was tainted. So to do the right thing, they’ll run it back. FTR agrees, the rematch is set for next week’s Collision! FTR heads out, as do Kyle & Roddy, but Adam Cole wants to talk with Garcia. Cole knows Garcia knows that Cole deserves his own rematch given what Shane Taylor Promotions did. But after tonight, we’ll just have to see if Garcia’s still TNT Champion. Garcia says that’s cute. But we will see. As much as Garcia wants to continue this conversation, he has to go defend his title. Cole says go get ’em, champ. Garcia heads out, will he still be the Face of TNT?

Backstage interview with The Hurt Syndicate.

Lexy Nair is with Montel Vontavious Porter, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin and notes that their AEW World Tag Team Championship match for Revolution is set against The Outrunners. Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum have been training hard, and they have a match tonight against The Premier Athletes, hoping to win and build momentum. With that said- MVP cuts Lexy off to say, “With that being said, let me say this. The Outrunners are so entertaining. They make you feel good, they make you feel happy, they make you laugh. They’re entertaining. But we’re about a different kind of entertainment

“We like violent, savage entertainment. Blood, pain. We don’t wanna make you laugh, we wanna make you cringe, we wanna make you gasp. The Outrunners are the underdogs. And that’s why most of you pathetic people that watch this, you identify with underdogs because in life, you are an underdog. But Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin have never been underdogs. They’ve only ever been the top dogs. And what they are going to do to your underdogs is they are going to make them suffer. They are going to hurt them, badly. And you know what you do to a dog when it’s suffering? You put it down. We’re the Hurt Syndicate, and we hurt people.”

The Syndicate heads out, but will it be so easy to kill the Youngest Men Alive?

The Outrunners VS The Premier Athletes!

Speaking of, Truth & Turbo are flexing and feeling good! But Mark Sterling gives the introductions for Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari. Everyone knows the Premier Athletes should be the team fighting for the tag titles this Sunday, “not these idiots!” But tonight, the Premier Athletes are giving “the thugs” of Sacramento a chance to be on their team. So when Sterling says, “Athletes,” you all say, “Rule!” Nothing else! Hands in, boys. Ohh…! “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!!” Got ’em again! Will Smart Mark ever learn? Anyway, the teams sort out, Truth starts against Nese, and the fans rally up. Nese flexes and the two circle.

Nese and Truth feel things out, but then Nese kicks low! Nese ROCKS Truth, fires shots against the ropes, then shouts, “ATHLETES!” The fans say “SUCK!” Nese whips, Truth reverses, then drops down. Truth hurdles then arm-drags Nese! And arm-drags again! And then DECKS Nese! The fans fire up and Truth tags in Turbo. Turbo reels Nese in, fires the fans up, and he suplexes high and hard! Then the Outrunners DOUBLE DROPKICK!

The Premier Athletes bail out, The Outrunners flex, and the fans fire up, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Turbo storms out after Daivari and drags him up. Turbo puts Daivari in the ring, then puts him in a corner. The fans fire up as Turbo CHOPS Daivari! Tag to Truth and he CHOPS Daivari in the corner! Daivari sputters, Truth whips him to ropes, but Daivari reverses. Nese gets a cheap shot in, then Daivari LARIATS Truth down! Daivari stomps away on Truth, digs his boots in, but the ref counts. Daivari stops to tag in Nese, and now Nese stomps away on Truth. Nese digs a knee in, lets off as the ref counts, and Nese stalks Truth. Nese drags Truth up, Truth fires body shots, but Nese ROCKS Truth!

Nese whips, and he ELBOWS Truth down! Cover, TWO! Truth is tougher than that, but Nese clamps on with a chinlock. Truth fights up, but Nese TOSSES him out! Nese distracts the ref, Daivari and Sterling stomp away on Truth, and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns, fans chant “ATHLETES SUCK! ATHLETES SUCK!” but Nese grinds Truth down with a chinlock. Truth fights up, fires body shots, but Nese keeps him from his corner! The fans rally as Truth and Turbo reach for each other, but Nese drags Truth away! Daivari tags in, Nese puts Truth in the corner to ROCK him! Truth ROCKS Daivari, too! Nese throat chops Truth! Then HOTSHOT BULLDOGS him down! Daivari is up top, DIVING SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Daivari is furious but he drags Truth up with chicken wings. Tag to Nese and Nese climbs, but Truth switches! Truth RAMS Daivari into the corner while Nese leaps over!

Nese comes back, Truth dodges, the LARIAT hits Daivari! Hot tag to Turbo! The fans fire up as Turbo DECKS Nese and DECKS Daivari! Then he scoop SLAMS Nese! And scoop SLAMS Daivari! Turbo flexes, the fans fire up, and Truth is now Turbo’s weapon! Scoop SLAM onto Daivari! The Outrunners fire up, and Truth says, “Turbo Floyd! You sonova b*tch!” Handshake and DOUBLE ELBOW DROP! Turbo scoops Nese, but The Hurt Syndicate makes their way out here! Deja vu, anyone? But Daivari drags Truth out to POST! Nese rolls Turbo up, SOBATS, then covers, TWO!! Turbo survives and the fans fire up!

Nese tags Daivari, they double whip Turbo, but Turbo ducks ‘n’ DOUBLE LARIATS in return! Then TOTAL RECALL for Daivari! Cover, Outrunners win!

Winners: The Outrunners, by pinfall

MVP tried to screw Truth & Turbo like he did Archer & Cage, but it seems The Outrunners are impervious to distractions! Will this finally be the time for Truth & Turbo to shine?

AEW shares footage from the Queen of the Ring red carpet event.

Toni Storm was being interviewed about her (co)starring role and what it means for this movie to be made, only to be attacked by Mariah May!! The Woman From Hell would not let Timeless Toni have even one moment of peace! Christopher Daniels and security had to drag her away, but the title match is still on! Who will have it all with their Hollywood Ending?

AEW hears from The Don Callis Family and… #MXMTV?

Johnny TV says, “The enemies of our enemies are our friends. That means we’re friends.” Brian Cage isn’t so sure about that, Johnny. But as long as Johnny is paying Callis, the Murder Machines don’t mind helping out. Okay, good enough. But speaking of those enemies, Mark Briscoe says it has been too long since he and Orange Cassidy conglomerated. The time has come, he and the Main Man with the Game Plan are gonna conglomerate with Big Boom AJ! Revolution, baby! Mansoor says if the other side is “The Conglomeration,” then guess what? This is the Cooperation! And together, they will DESTROY AJ, Briscoe, Cassidy and more!

Briscoe says, “We’re gonna bring the…” Cassidy says, “Boom.” RAH RAH RAH! The Sussex County Chicken & Freshly Squeezed are ready, but will the MXM Cooperation bring the DOOM?

Kenny Omega speaks.

“Takeshita, I’ll give you credit. You used me to get everything that you wanted. All of the questions that you had, I gave you every single answer that I could because I wanted to see the best for you. 2021 seems like a lifetime ago, but I still remember it very clearly. I still remember you being in this house, I still remember working out with you, I still remember watching tape, giving you advice. And I still remember you absorbing everything like a sponge, with your hands out, ‘Please, Kenny. Give me something that takes me to the next level.’ And then when I gave it to you, it still wasn’t enough. And I know that you think that Don can take you to the top of the mountain…

“Don himself thinks that you are the ultimate meal ticket. That you’ll be the one to shower him with the riches, shower him with all the gold, take him to the next step. But then what happens when you don’t? What happens after Revolution when I take your title away? Will you be thrown aside just the way that I was? Will you be thrown aside in the same way that Will Ospreay was? You see, the difference between you and Will Ospreay, Takeshita, is that Will opened his eyes. You’re still living in this fantasy world that Momsy, Dadsy, or Uncle Don is going to make something work magically, pull something out of thin air.

“And why is that? Because you’re afraid to go take it yourself? Well, I’m telling you right now, when it’s a singles match between us at Revolution, there is your chance. There is your chance, one on one, without Don, without any help, to beat me man to man. Show everyone that you’re willing to take that top spot. Show everyone that you are one of the best on the planet. At Revolution, Takeshita, you’re not facing the same guy that you had beaten twice in one week, Who you are facing is the guy that Don Callis himself used to call, ‘The God of Professional Wrestling.’ Do you really think you can beat this version of Kenny Omega?

“I guess tomorrow, we’re gonna find out. Until Revolution, I must bid you adieu. Goodbye, Takeshita, mwah. And goodnight, BANG!” The Cleaner has put Takeshita on notice, but will he still be The Best Bout Machine?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, but wow, was this some go-home syndrome. All the promos and recaps were well done, such as Kenny right there at the end, but we got so many of them when honestly, Kenny’s was a touch redundant. He had one on Dynamite, why not use this one back then? Speaking of redundant, Cope and Moxley had promos again. Cope saying Moxley talks in circles doesn’t do much when Cope barely said anything new other than, “I have to win.” I’ve been saying this a lot already, but this is all learning towards Christian Cage cashing in his Casino Gauntlet contract to really throw things for a loop.

I did appreciate what we got of the “Mariah attacks Toni” that happened on Friday, that is a clever way to add to a build. Good promo from Bandido & Gravity to respond to what happened on ROH, and Jericho VS Gravity will be a great match, but I don’t see Jericho losing given the title is on the line. And I also did appreciate Ospreay and Kyle at least adding some new twists. Ospreay has a point that the United Empire could’ve been a thing in AEW, and Kyle bringing up how Ospreay was meant to get in on the Death Riders story was also a nice touch. The cage match could really go either way, and I suppose much of it depends on where the world title’s story is going.

The Opps winning a squash match but then getting nothing else was odd. I mean, good win for The Opps, but I guess with The Death Riders falling apart and also kayfabe hospitalized, there couldn’t be a challenge set for the trios titles here. Very good win for Harley with Tatevik also coming out the gate strong. Momo VS Deeb was really good, and Mone was good on commentary. Them teasing Billie hanging around continues to be interesting. It’d be rather interesting if Billie were to bypass another shot at the ROH Women’s World Championship to then go after and most likely lose to Mone for the TBS Championship. Because as I’ve said before, Mone is certainly retaining against Momo.

Awesome match from Hologram and Dralistico, and another great win for Hologram. LFI going after him and then beating up Komander was good stuff, and I would think Hologram & Komander VS Dralistico & Mortos is a tag match we get before Rush VS Hologram 1v1. Good promo from The Hurt Syndicate ahead of The Outrunners having their match. It was a natural move for Hurt Syndicate to go out there in hopes of distracting, but I like that it didn’t cost The Outrunners. Great win for The Outrunners tonight, but they’re definitely losing at Revolution.

We got quite the promo from The Conglomeration and the “Cooperation.” There’s no change to the match, but I suppose this means Lance Archer, Brian Cage & Mark Davis will be ringside to watch and possibly stack the odds against Big Boom AJ’s team. I would think the Faces still win but maybe it’ll be from The Don Callis Family ditching MXM TV. FTR had a decent promo with Garcia and the Undisputed Kingdom. FTR having a split attitude on how their match with Kyle & Roddy went is interesting, but at least we’re getting a rematch. That’ll be some good stuff, and might unofficially make the winners the next tag title contenders.

An awesome TNT title match for the main event, but being it was Collision, I figured Garcia would retain. Setting up an 8 Man Tag for Revolution’s Zero Hour is something, and I could see some “dysfunction” between Garcia and Cole could set up their TNT Championship rematch. And with that rematch, I feel like Cole should win. There’s a good chance he’ll have the TNT title while Kyle & Roddy face Lashley & Shelton for the tag titles. Golden Prophecy: All Elite Edition is certainly to happen in 2025.

My Score: 8.9/10
