Bron Breakker arrives.
NXT Media asks how his shoulder is doing, and he says it’s fine. Will “fine” be enough to take on a hungry and determined Cameron Grimes?
Tony D’Angelo speaks with Legado del Fantasma.
Last week, The Don “took care” of Two Dimes, and it broke his heart. But those tough decisions is what being The Don is all about. Now, where is Santos Escobar? Tony “handled” him! He told everyone that he better be North American Champion, “or else!” And the “or else” is Escobar in the hospital! That can’t be a real photo. That’s what happens when you laugh at Tony D! But now that there is an understanding, the only one who has been doing work for The Family is Elektra Lopez. She increased work at the port by 80%! As for the clowns, Wilde & Del Toro get one last opportunity to prove their loyalties. Or they join Escobar.
Lopez wants to check on Santos to see what is really going on here. Will they find that the Don did deal with the Emperor of Lucha? Or will they expose his lies and turn the tables on him?
Pretty Deadly speak.
Elton Prince & Kit Wilson are looking good and feeling good, “just radiating off your screen.” They are the pride of Essex. People think France is the center of fashion, but the fashion forward movement is from Essex. They live for the weekend, dress to the tens, and you wouldn’t be caught dead drinking beer. The mere mention of beer makes Prince think of “those two swamp Rednecks,” Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen. Don’t forget the third one, Fallon Henley. “That big manhands!” They have Pretty Deadly’s UK Tag Team titles!
But don’t worry, those three can’t bide time milking cows forever. Pretty Deadly will take ’em behind the woodshed and give ’em a good ol’ fashioned whoopin’! ROLL TIDE~! YEEHAW~! Big words from the former champions, but will they become two-time champions soon enough?

Backstage interview with Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez.
McKenzie congratulates the NEW NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, and they say they finally did it. Cora is finally champ in WWE, and with her best friend! Roxie says this is so surreal! She won the Breakout Tournament, and now she’s a tag team champion with her best friend! And it felt so good to knock Toxic Attraction off the pedestal. It felt amazing! And next week, Roxie is ready! She’ll end the Toxic Reign once and for all! She’s cashing in on Mandy Rose! Then the Toxic Attraction is done. But for tonight, we celebrate! Will Roxie be a DOUBLE champion in one fell swoop? Or will Mandy do everything in her power to stop that from happening?
Cameron Grimes checks in on Bron Breakker.
Grimes asks about the shoulder, and Bron tells him that the shoulder’s fine. Well, Grimes will do whatever it takes to become champion. Bron wouldn’t have it any other way. Grimes heads out, but will he be leaving tonight with the gold?
Apollo Crews is here!
He heads to the ring and gets the mic to say, “I’d like to share something with you real quick. For the last year, when I would get home, I would sit and I would ask my kids what they thought.” They said, “Daddy, that isn’t you.” And then they stopped watching all together. But since his return to NXT, Apollo’s kids watch him every single week. When Apollo gets home now and they jump on hi slap with a million questions, excitement on their faces, he can’t help but be excited. He thanks his kids for bringing the spark back into his career. So to his kids, Apollo tells them he loves them.
Now, Apollo’s been back a month and Xyon Quinn is right about one thing: NXT is different. There is a group of young, hungry and athletic talent ready to take advantage of opportunity. The wheels got spinning in Apollo’s head and he wondered what would happen if he faced Tony D’Angelo, or Nathan Frazer, or even the winner of tonight’s North American Championship match, Carmelo Hayes VS Grayson Waller. Oh but you know he’ll be watching Bron VS Grimes. Apollo knows he and Cameron could make magic in the ring. And Apollo VS Bron- Wait, here comes GIOVANNI VINCI! He noticed Apollo left him off the list.
But he doesn’t blame Apollo. When Apollo sees his future against Giovanni Vinci, it doesn’t work out so well, does it? Vinci says he is the one guy in NXT that can not only keep up with Apollo, he can outdo Apollo in the ring and in style. Okay, Mr. Style. Stop talking, get in the ring, and we’ll see them go stride for stride right now. Vinci tells Apollo that he has all the people fooled, but not Vinci. Vinci is dressed for a night out, not for a night with the fans. But maybe next week, they can find out… Or rather, Apollo finds out, just who the best athlete in NXT really is. And Vinci assures Apollo that he will lose. But that gives Apollo seven days to come up with an excuse to tell the kids.
Vinci tosses the mic, but Apollo catches it! Apollo stares Vinci down as he leaves, but will it be #VeniVidiVinci? Or will it be all about #CrewsControl?
Backstage interview with Ivy Nile.
McKenzie notes that the Creed Brothers are facing Strong & Kemp in a Diamond Mine VS Diamond Mine match. Is the group imploding? Ivy says they are a group of alphas, and you don’t even step foot in their gym unless you’re a badass. They all have healthy egos, so tonight we find out who the best team is. Diamond Mine Forever is not just some catchphrase, it is real! Ivy then hears an argument going on and shouts it all down. Tatum Paxley is dealing with KC Squared in continuation from last week, and Ivy says it’s enough. Katana Chance tells Kayden Carter it is not the time.
Tatum thanks Ivy for the back-up, but Ivy says if Tatum’s gonna get in a mess, she needs to learn to get out of it. Tomorrow, 8 AM, Diamond Dojo. Got it? Got it! Tatum has her pass into the Diamond Mine, will she make the most of it?
Grayson Waller speaks.
“Melo, my mum really loved that signed T-Shirt, man. And wow! Your autograph’s worth a fortune! I just sold it for 28 cents on eBay! And the other, I’m gonna save as a coaster for my victory toast. Because there’s only one thing left for Grayson Waller to steal, and that’s the North American Championship.”
Carmelo Hayes responds!
“Waller, you and I used to be boys. But all that is out the window, because when you play Melo, you play yourself!” Trick got his W, and Melo’s gonna get his. Because there is a difference between common and special. Waller is common, Melo is special! That’s all it is, and that’s all it’s gon’ be! Just who leaves tonight THE A Champion?
JD McDonagh speaks.
“My dad’s a lot like me. He’s a great man. He sat me down when I was about three years old, he said, ‘Son, you can do whatever you wanna do in this life. If you wanna go in the army, you’ll be a general. If you wanna do art, you make sure that you’re Picasso.’ And that is how the Irish Ace was born.” Anyone who steps into the ring with him gets dissected. He is so far ahead of the roster, they couldn’t see him if they had a set of binoculars. He will change everyone’s minds real quick. Enjoy tonight, because next week, NXT 2.0 changes forever.
Bron gets checked by the trainer.
Any pain? Nope. And a good range of motion. The doc wants to put on tape but Bron says no thanks. Bron heads out, but is his ego getting in the way of his health?

Two young pillars of NXT have been running parallel since showing up on the brand, but Melo has been the one with the golden accolades. Will the 21st Century Success Story look to take that all away here tonight? Or will Melo shoot and score once more?
After Waller makes his entrance, Trick appears on the perch! “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Trick ‘n’ Melo fans of all ages… I need for y’all to strap on your seatbelts and glue your wigs on tight, and make some noise for the man who don’t miss, the leader of the new school, the two-time North American Champion, your A CHAMPION… CARMELOOO~! Trick being ringside paid off, even if Lee got some payback on him. Melo is still on top, but who will come for his gold next?
Backstage interview with Xyon Quinn.
McKenzie asks him his thoughts on tonight’s Great American Bash. Xyon is upset about Apollo Crews eyeing the North American and NXT Championships, but that’s the wrong target. He should be looking at Xyon. Not to brag, but Xyon is box office. When you type “WWE Superstar” into Google, Xyon comes right up. And a title reign for Apollo? That ain’t it. Xyon Quinn, he is going to be a future multiple time champion. NXT 2.0 is about the future, and the future is Xyon Quinn.

Backstage interview with Mandy Rose.
McKenzie says it was a tough night for Toxic Attraction, but Roxie wants the NXT Women’s Championship. Wow, nothing gets past McKenzie. But Cora & Roxie, AKA Team 2001 or whatever they’re calling themselves, got lucky! This has happened before, but Gigi & Jacy corrected themselves, won those belts back, rinse and repeat. And Mandy is pretty sure Roxie is running around on a high horse. Once the adrenaline wears off, Roxie will see she’s made the biggest mistake of her life. Roxie will realize she cannot defeat Mandy for the title. Neither could Cora Jade. And next week, Roxie joins her BFF in the failure club. If she even makes it to next week. A not so veiled threat from Mandy, will Roxie have to watch her back?
Andre Chase teaches another class.
But before he continues the lesson, he wants to welcome the new students, such as Thea Hail right up front. As we all know, America celebrated its independence yesterday. July 4th, 1776, America adopted the Declaration of Independence. Chase asks Bodhi Hayward what’s wrong. He’s dozing off. Is this boring? No, not at all, sir! But his roommate doesn’t sleep. Thea says they watched MITB like 50 times! They’re like brother and sister! Right, Bodhi? Y-Yeah, just stop hitting him. Chase likes that. That’s what Chase U is all about: making memories happen. Someone in the back has a question.
Chad says the Declaration of Independence was actually written on July 2nd, and that John Adams believed July 2nd should be the real Day of Independence. Well who the F do you think you are, Chad?! You come in talking about John Adams, but who the F did John Adams ever beat!? DON’T YOU TELL CHASE ABOUT THE BIRTH OF THIS NATION! He IS America! Get the hell outta here and never come back. Okay, where were we? But Thea has an idea! Wouldn’t it be sweet to go to England and learn about their history? A field trip? Like that’s ever gonna happen. Chase says that’s a great idea! NXT UK, here we come! Oh, bloody hell…

But then Julius GUT WRENCH SUPLEXES Kemp away! Tag to Brutus, and he gets in to CLOBBER Kemp! And again! And then a TACKLE for a ground ‘n’ pound! Brutus shoves Kemp around, fires up, but Strong tags in. Strong waits as Brutus glares at Kemp. Brutus CLUBS away on Kemp at the ropes but Strong gets in. Brutus CLOBBERS Strong, drags him up and fireman’s carries. Strong fights free to shove Brutus. Strong is between the brothers, and he SLAPS Julius! The ref has to keep Julius out, Brutus tells him to calm down, but a STRONG KNEE rocks Brutus! And another STRONG KNEE!
Strong says this is on Julius, and he drags Brutus up. Tag to Kemp, but Brutus fights back. Strong * Kemp mug Brutus, then Kemp wrangles Brutus down to a chinlock. Fans rally, Brutus fights up but Kemp knees Brutus down to hit an EXPLODER! Kemp RAMS into Brutus, then SLINGSHOT SPEARS! Cover, TWO!! Brutus survives but Kemp keeps on Brutus with a facelock. Kemp scoops but Brutus cradles! TWO!! Brutus gets up but Kemp runs in, only for Brutus to send him into buckles! Hot tags to Strong and Julius! Julius rallies on Strong, then scoop SLAMS him! Julius deadlift GERMAN SUPLEXES!
Fans fire up as Julius clinches for a BELLY2BELLY! Straps come down and Julius fires off hands! He picks Strong up to ROLLING SPINEBUSTER! Fans fire up but Kemp tags in! Julius hurdles then ROLLING SPINEBUSTERS Kemp! SLIDING FOREARM!! Cover, the Creeds win!
Winners: The Creed Brothers, by pinfall (still NXT Tag Team Champions)
Julius & Brutus prove they are champions for a reason! They help Kemp up and he shows respect, but what about Strong? Strong stares down his faction as they hold up the belts, but he stays silent. Has Strong been humbled by the men he helped forge into diamonds?
A-Kid speaks.
“I was a very bright child. But that got me and all the other intelligent kids bullied. So I decided to do something about it. I learned how to fight back. To escape my environment, I knew it would take more. I had a gift for mathematics. When I close my eyes, I see numbers and equations. Everything can be broken down into a formula. There is a solution to every problem. I’ve been told that I am technically gifted in the ring. Whether it is mathematics or physics, it all comes down to an equation. You can quickly analyze and react to anything. Even when your body fails, your mind can push you to new heights. I am Axiom.”
Backstage interview with The Robert Stone Brand.
McKenzie says Mr. Stone himself requested this time, so what’s on his mind? Stone says it is a travesty that Von Wagner wasn’t part of GAB. And the reason that happened is because of “them!” Sophia Cromwell says the so-called fans and their audacity to squawk at Von- Solo Sikoa walks in and says, “Hold the hell up. Von, what are you running around and crying for? Blaming the NXT Universe for telling you how it is? You don’t see the Street Champion running around, looking for excuses.” Von acts like he’s owed something. Stone wants to say something but Von says he can handle this. Stone & Sophia don’t speak for him.
Von tells the Street Champion that if he wants to run his mouth, let’s handle business right now. Oh, is that so? Things get tense but referees and security rush in to stop this! Solo says he’ll shut Von’s ass up, but when will these giants throw down?
NXT Championship: Bron Breakker VS Cameron Grimes!
Though both men are second generation wrestlers, the Big Booty Nephew and Carolina Caveman lived very different lives. People around the world know about The Steiner Brothers, but perhaps only North Carolina wrestling fans know about Tracy Caddell. Will Grimes make sure no one ever forgets his name by putting it right on the title? Or will Bron still stand tall, bad shoulder and all?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if Grimes can break Breakker!
Grimes and Bron tie up, and even at less than 100%, Bron puts Grimes in a corner. Bron lets off, Grimes comes back and they circle. They tie up, Bron powers Grimes back again but Grimes turns things around. Fans duel, Grimes lets off, but then he gets the bad arm! Bron throws Grimes away, but Grimes says he almost had him. They go again, Grimes gets a leg instead but Bron headlocks. Grimes powers up but can’t power out as Bron holds tight. Grimes wrenches out, Bron powers the hold back on, but Grimes wrenches again. Bron gets away because that’s the bad arm. Fans duel, Bron says Grimes thinks he’s clever.
The two go again, Bron waistlocks then headlocks but Grimes powers him to ropes. Grimes powers out this time, but Bron gator rolls to get Grimes up for a suplex! Grimes fights it to a cradle, TWO! Grimes trips Bron, covers, TWO! Grimes has the bad arm! Bron fights up, whips free, and SPLASHES in a corner. Bron scoops, Grimes elbows free, has the arm again, but Bron gets away. Bron ducks and dodges to CLOBBER Grimes! The speed makes up for the bad arm’s weakness, and fans bark for Bron as NXT goes picture in picture.
Grimes is in a corner and checking his jaw while Bron shakes out the bad arm. Grimes takes a second but comes back. He and Bron tie up, but Grimes kicks low to then CLUB the bad arm. Grimes throws elbows, CLUBS away on the bad arm, then he puts Bron in a corner to KICK! Bron staggers to another corner, Grimes whips him corner to corner. Bron reverses and Grimes hits buckles hard! Bron drags Grimes up to whip corner to corner the other way, and just as hard! Grimes flops down but Bron is on him at the ropes. Bron facelocks, grinds Grimes down, but Grimes fights up to wrench the bad arm again!
Grimes hits an ARMBREAKER DDT! Cover, TWO! Bron toughs it out but Grimes clamps onto the bad arm again. Grimes grinds the shoulder but Bron endures. Grimes pulls on the arm, almost a Fujiwara Armbar, but Bron fight sit off. Bron fights up, but Grimes ROCKS him with a forearm! Bron hits back but Grimes ROCKS him again. Grimes suplexes but Bron blocks! NXT returns to single picture as Bron suplexes Grimes, holds him up, and SLAMS! Fans fire up while both men are down, and Bron checks his bad arm. Bron stalks Grimes, choke grips, and trophy lifts! But the bad arm gives up and Grimes slips off.
Bron rushes Grimes but Grimes sends him out! PENALTY KICK from the apron, and then a CANNONBALL! Fans fire up for “NXT! NXT!” as Grimes nods and gets to his feet. Grimes stomps the bad arm, the ring count is climbing, but Grimes lets off to put Bron in at 6 of 10. Grimes covers, TWO! Ironically, Bron shot the bad arm up so that just adds to the pain. Grimes YANKS the bad arm, twists the wrist, then drags Bron up to PENALTY KICK him down! Cover, TWO! Grimes clamps onto Bron’s good arm, hammerlocks it, then pulls the bad arm way back! Bron endures as Grimes pushes the arm down with a foot! Cover, TWO!
Bron is still in this but Grimes keeps his focus. Grimes BOOTS the bad arm, KICKS Bron, but Bron snarls. Bron sits up and Grimes KICKS him again! Bron is getting angrier, and he blocks the kick to RAM Grimes into buckles! Bron RAMS in again but that’s the bad arm! Grimes runs in, but into a SPINEBUSTER! Both men are down and fans fire up! Both men stir as fans say, “This is Awesome!” Grimes fires forearms but Bron gives them back. Grimes keeps throwing forearms but so does Bron. They keep throwing shots as they stand, Bron switches to haymakers, but Grimes wrenches the arm! Bron DEKCS Grimes!
Bron rallies with big shoulder tackles form the left side! Grimes jumps, but into another SPINEBUSTER! Fans fire up and Bron brings down the straps! Bron choke grips but Grimes ROCKS him! Bron ducks a kick but not the SUPERKICK! Grimes ducks ‘n’ dodges, COLLISION COURSE!! Cover, TWO!! Fans fire up while both men are down! Bron gets up in a corner, Grimes runs in, but Bron puts him on the apron. Grimes HOTHOTS the bad arm! Grimes goes up the corner, but Bron CLUBS him first! Bron climbs up after Grimes, for a SUPER STEINER! Cover, TWO!! Grimes survives and no one can believe it!
Bron gets up, shakes out the bad arm, and he goes to the opposite corner. Bron runs in corner to corner, but Grimes dodges! Bron stops from hitting buckles, but Grimes tilt-o-whirls around to have an IRON OCTOPUS! Bron resists but fans rally as Grimes pulls! Bron fireman’s carries out of the hold but Grimes slips off to RAM him into buckles! CAVE-IN!!! Cover, TWO!?!? Bron survives Grimes’ best shot and now no one can believe it! Grimes hurries to a corner, he fires up and goes up the corner! “TO! THE! MOON~!” SUPER- SPEAR!! Cover, Bron wins!!
Winner: Bron Breakker, by pinfall (still NXT Champion)
Grimes wanted to fly, but Bron shot him out of the sky! But the celebration is cut short as JD MCDONAGH attacks!! He said he would show up next week, but that was a lie! He drags Bron up to hit DEVLINSIDE through a picnic table!! The Irish Ace says Bron should’ve been listening to his videos. The Necessary Evil is here, and he’s after Bron’s gold! Will JD go from NXT UK exile to the Ace of NXT 2.0?
My Thoughts:
NXT definitely put the “great” in the Great American Bash this year. I missed a bit of that opening vignette but I did like that Briggs, Jensen & Fallon were the hosts of the party, as their characters are “down to earth” and they love to have fun. Pretty Deadly had a decent promo calling them out, but I would think Pretty Deadly ends up losing to give Briggs & Jensen a good first defense. Chase University has another hilarious promo segment all together, with Andre Chase chewing the crap out of “Chad,” and setting up how they’ll be the next wave of visitors to NXT UK. I would love to see these three looking at landmarks and being in character going around London.
A great Women’s Tag Team Championships match to open the night, and while it almost looked like Toxic Attraction was going to cheat to retain, #JadeRox turns it back around and crowning new champions is the right move. Roxie made her challenge and is getting her match with Mandy, but even if Roxie doesn’t win that match, Toxic Attraction has been weakened and they can try to find themselves in the aftermath. Personally, Gigi Dolin needs to break out from the group, fans really like her all on her own and she is honestly the better of the three in the ring. But Mandy VS Roxie will be great stuff either way, it’s definitely what you follow tonight with.
Good promo from Tony D’Angelo and Legado where he claims he sidelined Escobar, but we’ll wait and see what’s the real story. I liked that Choo went after Tiffany backstage to give us a really fun brawl that leads right into their match. Also nice little gag where Wendy was sitting on the same chair she used to sit on as Mei Ying. The match was good, but I feel like this wasn’t for Tiffany to win. Choo’s been on the down after losing to Mandy, I thought this could be her way to get back up and then she and Tiffany escalate things into a bigger blow-off. But maybe that still happens anyway, winner being seen as the contender to the winner of Mandy VS Roxie.
A pretty good promo from Apollo and Vinci, and they’re going to have a great match that will get more out of Vinci, both his moves and his character. And while Apollo mentioned both champions, I think he’s going for the North American Championship after beating Vinci and beating Xyon. Wes VS Trick was pretty good, but we should’ve expected Trick to cheat as the Heel. Trick wins but as we saw, Lee went after him again during the North American Championship so the feud is just getting started. Speaking of which, Melo VS Waller was a great title match, and I figured Melo would retain as he still has a long list of guys he can face before losing the belt.
We got a decent promo out of the Robert Stone Brand and Solo Sikoa to set up a match, Solo VS Von is going to be great stuff, but unless Solo really is going to join The Bloodline on RawDown, I would hope Solo wins. A-Kid gave us a pretty good promo, but of course his name changes. “Axiom” is a pretty good choice, “a statement or proposition which is regarded as being established, accepted, or self-evidently true.” Therefore, AK is going to be the foundation for redefining the North American Championship scene, he’ll have some great matches with all the guys in that scene. He can fit into that scene right now, even, with Melo, Apollo, Vinci, etc.
Ivy Nile had a decent promo to establish her belief that Diamond Mine will never break. And she also stepped up to help Tatum with some of that tough love. Maybe Ivy & Tatum truly become a team to challenge for the tag titles once Toxic Attraction is fully out of the way. We got a great tag title match in Diamond Mine: Civil War, and I’m oddly surprised there was no meltdown from Strong. There must still be something coming down the line that will make Strong lash out and break away from the group. And at this point, it feels like Strong is going to take Julius on 1v1 as the blow-off, winner being the true leader of the faction.
After all the different Bron Breakker promos playing up the shoulder, I really thought this was foreshadowing a loss. We still got great main event from Bron VS Grimes, but Grimes found himself between a rock and a hard place. If not for Vince’s typical push being too much too soon, and if Bron was only a one-time champion at this point, this could’ve been the night someone dethroned Bron for the first time. It would’ve been big both ways: big because this was Bron’s first title loss, and big because Grimes backed up his words and showed he had more heart. Then Bron would have to work to redeem himself and get that belt back. Instead, Grimes is fed to the machine.
But what a great final moment of the night in return! Jordan Devlin now “JD McDonagh” had his vignette claiming he’d be here next week, and then surprise! He’s here now, he goes after the top champion, and he’ll definitely get a title match. As much as I don’t want Bron becoming the one to reach three-time NXT Champion the fastest, I do want to see Devlin get that title off him and finally be the top guy on a WWE brand.
My Score: 8.7/10

Andrew’s TNA LIVE! iMPACT! Results & Match Ratings: 2.20.2025
So the first live episode got fairly positive praise from everyone; will this continue the trend?

Filming at Full Sail seems to have set the stage nicely this week! Going into a Live episode we got Moose and The Hardy Boyz on NXT, as well as Jordynne Grace’s involvement with Steph and Giulia giving a little shine to TNA happenings since she’s newly WWE.
This episode should be interesting, we finally see Lei Ying Lee (fka Xia Li) back in action, Rascalz take on Tyson and Tyriek, Tessa should be seeing some action as well…so generally interesting happenings for the second Live iMPACT! of 2025. Let’s see how this one goes down!
No matter where @ManceWarner and @stephdelander go, @TheSamiCallihan WILL FIND THEM!

- Masha Slamovich vs Mila Moore: Masha wins via Requiem – N/A
- Elijah & Joe Hendry vs The Colons: Elijah wins via Tombstone Piledriver – *** 1/4
Results:
Oh yeah, and another Hendry concert is…cut off by a commercial, LOLTNA. First Hendry is cut off by AXSTV’s new Anime Hour bumper, and now Primo and Epico are showing up in TNA. I definitely didn’t have this on my BINGO card. The crowd starts chanting “Where’s Carlito”, which they do acknowledge and play off of well. Oh they’re using their shoot names of Orlando and Eddie now…but before they attack the lights go out and we get another guitar strum! ELIAH/ELIAS/EZEKIEL/EBENERZER/EMERY/EL VAGABUNDO – shows up to back up Hendry. Okay I can apologize away the redundant concert since it played into an Elijah debut. The crowd is immediately popping and chanting “This is Awesome” 10 minutes into the show.
Tyson & Tyriek w/Wes Lee vs The Rascalz w/Ace Austin
Treehouse bros take it to the bigger men quickly, a few fast dives, a little MCMG style tandem strikes, Tyson fires and tries to take them out but they Low Bridge him. Tyriek comes in and they try similar things but Tyriek manhandles them both and throws them out of the ring, Trey is the first one back up and Tyriek and Tyson take his damn head off with his Corkscrew Running Euro Upper. Trey finally manages to flip out of the manhandle, tags in Wentz and Wentz goes for the hot and spicy cleaning house spot. Corner to Corner Knee Lifts for both big men, a Rolling Snapmare, into a Superkick for Tyson and Standing Shoot Star on Tyriek but only for two because Wes feints like he’s going to interfere.
Tyson and Tyriek pull off a tandem Assisted Backdrop Driver, but Wentz breaks it up, Tyson gets knocked out, Wentz hits the Tornillo, Wes tries to interfere again after Trey gets perched on the corner buckle but Ace runs around and trips Wes at the last second causing him to faceplant on the apron, Trey hits the Meteora, Wentz hits a Swanton from the other side of the ring and Trey gets the pinfall victory.
It was fast paced, all gas no brakes, but it didn’t overstay its welcome, so it was pretty fun all things considered.
After the match Wes grabs a mic, complains a little but challenges them to a 6 man match as Sacrifice. So we’re THAT’S where we’re getting the expected 3v3.
Fir$t Cla$$ comes out with an entourage of hot chicks and probably influencers or something. The “First Class Penthouse” , Gabby AF, Mafiosa Valentina, and Carolina are apparently known in their own way. Gabby I know was the awful one who did something for Impact a last year and sucked, but she’s part of the Busted Open Network I believe so that’s why she’s around. Two of them look like Noelle Foley and Frank the Clown…oh they actually are. Look at that. I do love KC Navarro as the Hype Man, they have this whole set up of AJ being mad that they haven’t gotten more Tag Title shots, so TNA placated him with his own Piper’s Pit and he’s *pregnant pause* totally happy with that. He says he loved Piper and hated Hogan before it was cool.
This is actually quality content and AJ is cutting a nice promo in this segment. They introduce their first guest, the greatest performer in TNA history, many whole say he’s Phenomenal with a whole lot of style….it’s A-J-Francis.
.@AJFrancis410 is GOING OFF!

Lei Ying Lee vs Rosemary
Things were slow until Rosemary took her into a corner quickly, hit the Upside Down, and we get a lot of Lei trying to avoid Rosemary’s offense. Rosemary goes for a Spear in the corner and Lei forward rolls, starts connecting with a bunch of right hands, backs Rosemary into the corner, goes for 10 Count Punches, pulls her out, Airplane Spin TKO for only a two count. Rosemary tries As Above So Below, Lei shrugs it off, Rosemary tries to go after Lei anyway and eats Thunderstruck! Lei Ying Lee wins!
After the match Rosemary catches Lei on the ramp and hits the Green mist in the eyes. Match was far too short and so many of Lei’s set up moves look better than her finish. We’ve seen Kofi Kingston do it for years so it’s not bad, just the current Knockouts Division are awful and don’t take the move well.
Eric Young and the jabronis come out, EY cuts a very basic power crazed psycho kind of promo, gets the “What” chants from the crowds. EY is trying to recruit Maclin even though Maclin made his line in the sand last week. EY tries to spin it as maybe he took out Josh FOR Maclin instead of in spite of his trust. This really doesn’t seem interesting at all, but that’s probably because I hate the two Jabronis EY is with.
NoDQ Match: Leon Slater vs JDC
I really don’t have any interest in Slater. He’s got no personality beyond “flippy guy with a British accent”.
Dango immediately powders, grabs a chair and goes to swing on him but misses. So Leon is making JDC look dumb by dodging the post chop, using the chair to shield himself from a punch by JDC, and then clapping Dango’s fingers between the chair. So typical System match, look inept for the first few minutes, then take advantage of something to take over. Oh look, Leon takes too long setting up the table, Dango gets in a few pot shots, tries to whip him into the table but Leon leaps over it, and then leaps back over to clobber Dango. Dango is still trying to recover so Leon hits his over the corner post con hilo, and the crowd appreciates it but I’m not interested. Leon panders to the crowd after the big spot and then eats an X-Plex into the chair from Dango.
JDC throws Leon back in, goes for a pinfall that’s only a two and we cut to a commercial. Coming out of the commercial JDC is in control with a Kendo Stick until he isn’t, Leon counters and takes the keno stick, brutalizes Dango a few times then comes off the ropes with the kendo shot for 2. Leon goes for another table, and again, at least the crowd is receptive to this match. Leon sets it up, looks for something off the apron but Dango stops him first until he eats a dropkick to fall onto the table, Leon hits the Swanton 450 through the table on the outside. Does it look cool? Sure. Do I care about dumbass moves? Nope.
Oh thankfully the rest of The System comes out to stop the pinfall, Shield Bomb Leon through the first table, and roll him back in for Dango to win.
The Hardy Boyz come out to try and make the save, but the numbers are against them, so Oba Femi’s music hits! Oba cleans house but doesn’t get his hands on Moose, so they’re at least building the eventual clash between Moose and Oba.
The crowd starts a “Tessa, we comin for you” chant before she even starts talking. Tessa is actually playing off the crowd well, Santino’s music hits and Tessa thinks he’ll help her out with the crowd and Santino calls bullshit basically. Santino says if Tessa doesn’t wrestle next week, she’s fired and Masha’s music hits. Masha decides to step in for Tessa’s enhancement talent match.
Masha Slamovich vs Mila Moore
Jobber tries to attack Masha early but Masha stops her, rocks her and Requiem ends the match.
Masha stares down Tessa, and then Cora Jade attacks from behind and hits Jaded.
Ryan Nemeth comes out to his Abyss music remix. What will Mokuba say today? “MYYYY BIIIGG BBRROOOOTTHHHEEEEER” he repeats at least 4 times and it’s hilariously cringe. He announces that Nic will return at Sacrifice, he literally just came out to give a PSA.
Elijah & Joe Hendry vs The Colons
Hendry starts with Eddie, after a brief tie up it seems like Hendry reads the room and points at Elijah and the crowd wants him in. So Joe tags in Elijah, a little back and forth, Shoulder Tackle from Elijah, Rope Walk with Elijah lays out Eddie and a tag to Joe allows for a quick tandem knockdown, but Eddie powders as the Walking and Talking Duo hold the ring going into the final commercial break.
We come back and Hendry is bouncing Orlando off the ropes as he return a strike, but Orlando is obviously losing, eats a Euro Upper, and then gets walked around in the Stalling Suplex for posterity. Eddie tries a sneak attack but gets caught and Sack of Shit, into Kip Up, turn and then Orlando with the ambush! A few quick short cuts and an Irish Whip/Dropkick combo gives the Colons a near fall. Hendry does get locomotion variation cradles, but eats a Dropkick to stop the attempt at momentum. Orlando stays on Joe, but Joe finally starts to fire up as the crowd starts to get behind him. Euro Uppers make some space, but a Snapmare says no.
Eddie gets tagged in and a quick Leg Sweep into a Front Chancery keeps Eddie in control. As Joe tries to get back up, Eddie turns it into a Guillotine, but finally the Suplex counter connects for Hendry! Simultaneous tags! Elijah bulls over Orlando, catches a Leap Frogging Orlando with the Manhattan Drop as Orlando retreats to a corner, Stinger Splash into Spinebuster for two. Elijah tries to keep up the attacks but Orlando finds a few ways to make space, launches himself from the middle rope and eats the Jumping Knee! Eddie breaks up the pinfall, Hendry takes Eddie out and Elijah hits the Tombstone Piledriver for the win!
Overall Score: 6/10
Well there were more live hiccups than the first episode, and this felt both more epic and less epic at the same time. Elijah and the Colons debuting was a nice way to kick things off, Oba Femi showing up for the save was fantastic. There were a few decent matches, but also a lot of really short and rushed matches. Tessa played off the crowd well, but Masha really is useless on the mic. Lei Ying Lee needs to framed stronger, her matches have done nothing to show off her ability. It just proves that the Knockouts don’t know how to sell a kick to the head because they all take it in the shoulder and fall in corny ways.
Viva La Sam could be something fun if the next 3 weeks are just hand cam footage of him being like “I’m Sami Callihan and I’m gonna kick Mance Warner’s ass”, Elegance Clique getting the rematch with a stipulation is nice to see and while I like Fir$t Cla$$, that segment went a little long for a cornball swerve payoff. It’s one thing to placate the Influencer squad especially when we’ve seen Logan Paul and Ishowspeed do so well in WWE…but these are like Z Tier Influencers that no one cares about. These kind of dorks stream on Kick because they aren’t relevant enough for Twitch, not because they chose Kick over it.
So yeah, the low lights were pretty low, and the highs were a little fleeting, but at least they were pretty fun. Not a bad show, just clunky with noticeable issues and Masha shouldn’t be allowed to speak English anymore. She’s such a charisma vacuum when she’s not rambling in Russian.

Fuego Del Sol VS Wheeler Yuta!
Lucha night opens with a hot start as the Fire of the Sun returns to ROH, but so does The Decoder! Will Fuego Del Sol get one up on a former ROH Pure Champion turned current AEW World Trios Champion? Or will Yuta do the Death Riders proud in Houston?
Houston cheers on the Texas star, and Fuego offers the Code of Honor. Yuta reaches out, but then SLAPS Fuego! The fans boo and the bell rings, Yuta slips around to CLUB Fuego down! Yuta mocks the fans cheering on Fuego, then scoops him for a SLAM and SENTON! The fans boo but Yuta brings Fuego up. FISHERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO, but Yuta holds onto the leg! Yuta taunts Fuego, but Fuego kicks at him! Yuta lets go and the fans rally up. Yuta runs up, Fuego ELBOWS him away, then goes up, up and FLYING RANAS! The fans fire up as Fuego then DROPKICKS Yuta down!
Yuta staggers up, Fuego SLAPS him! But Yuta LARIATS in return! The fans boo but Yuta rains down fists! And then stops, to rain down more fists! The fans boo but Yuta soaks that up while he “kicks dirt” on Fuego. Yuta stands Fuego up, CHOPS him, then has him in a corner. Yuta CHOPS Fuego again, the fans boo, but Yuta whips corner to corner hard! Fuego staggers forward, Yuta says they ain’t done yet. Yuta whips Fuego to the corner again, then FLAPJACKS on the rebound! Yuta adds a basement DROPKICK! The fans boo but Yuta soaks up heat. Yuta hits a spinning toehold, then has a DEATHLOCK!
Fuego endures and Yuta mockingly asks if he’ll give up. Fuego refuses to give in, and he SLAPS Yuta! So Yuta bridges and puts on more pressure! Yuta shows off by not even using his hands, but Fuego fights his way to the ROPEBREAK! Yuta lets go at 4, and he reminds the ref, “I have ’til five!” The fans boo Yuta parodying Bryan Danielson, then Yuta kicks Fuego around. Yuta eggs Fuego on, so Fuego ROCKS him! And ROCKS him! And again, and again, and again! But Yuta gets under the big haymaker! Yuta back suplexes, but Fuego lands out! Fuego dodges Yuta to then springboard QUEBRADA! Down goes Yuta!
The fans fire up as Fuego kips up and SUPERKICKS! Yuta sputters, Fuego runs and STEP-UP DOUBLE STOMPS! The fans fire up again as Fuego climbs a corner! Yuta stands, Fuego MISSILE- NO, Yuta gets under and comes back, BUSAIKU KNEE! Cover, Yuta wins!
Winner: Wheeler Yuta, by pinfall
Another thing he took from The American Dragon is that big knee, and Yuta takes the victory. Yuta sits Fuego up, and thinks about Hammer ‘n’ Anvil elbows, but he decides not to. Backstage interview with Jacked Jameson.
Lexy Nair is with the former Iron Savage, and he’s counting his abs. She brings us back to a few weeks ago when he walked up to Griff Garrison, Preston Vance & Cole Karter in hopes of forming a group with them. Then in Jacksonville, Jameson actually interfered in their match on their behalf. The question is, what’s going on here? Jameson says those are his boys! His guys! His dudes! Jameson went out there, helped them, it was huge! It was awesome! Speaking of, the boys walk in! Vance tells Jameson that they’ve heard his offer, they loved what he did in Jacksonville, and tonight is a big match and… They’d love if he was a part of it.
So then, it’s official! They got him some Frat House gear! But first… he has to do something. Yeah, sure! Anything! My Thoughts:
A very good ROH clocking in at an hour and 21 minutes, it feels like they’ve almost got this mastered for a good cable TV runtime. Though at the same time, we still had filler in Gates of Agony squashing Exodus & Josiah, and then both women’s matches were fairly quick. Billie squashing Hyan was in part to serve story as we did see Athena tell Billie to take things seriously, and then Billie takes her frustrations out on Hyan. Rachael VS Abadon could’ve been a little longer to build them both up in the standings, but Abadon winning makes sense as Abadon’s gotten closer to titles than Rachael has. And good promo from Velvet, but I’m not sure why we’re waiting so long to get to her and Leyla’s rematch.
Additionally, while that 12 Man Tag was some fun, just smashing together multiple teams for that was bordering on filler. Good to see The Von Erichs back given ROH was in Texas. And between The Von Erichs being in Texas and Sterling being introduced as one of the competitors, it was a given The Von Erichs and their team would win. Though it did work that The Outrunners got the finish, they’re the team riding high right now. I will say it’s good that “The Frat House” is a faction, but like, can’t the name have just be The Fraternity? Or like, Greek letters that make a fraternity name, but also is a funny pun when you boil it down to letters.
But of course, great stuff throughout the night involving luchadores. Fuego Del Sol VS Yuta was a very good opening match, but I figured Yuta would win that. Him going the extra mile with that steel chain was rather vicious, I feel like Fuego should want payback, teaming with some other AEW wrestlers who have beef with the Death Riders. Komander VS Lee was a very good ROH TV Championship match, but given this wasn’t the main event, I figured Komander would retain. Maybe EJ gets his shot next?
And then a very good Six Man main event. The lucha rules made it constant motion because there was no need for tags, and apparently the ref didn’t need to count when Hechi’s team was in there together. MXM getting involved makes sense, as they’re still not happy just possessing the tag title. They screwed Sammy over, Hechi’s team wins, but then Sammy’s side stands tall over MXM. I would think we do get Sons of Texas VS MXM one more time, who knows how that goes, but it’ll be a lot of fun either way.
