Patrick & Dave return this week to take a look at some early season surprises and disappointments in the NHL. There have been plenty of reactions and over-reactions to how many teams have performed thus far, and the guys discuss some of those here. Are the Lightning in serious trouble without Andrei Vasilevskiy? Are the Caps too old? Can Jordan Binnington lead the Blues to a surprising season? Can anyone stop the Golden Knights, Avalanche, or Bruins? The fellas take a look at all that and much more in this week’s installment of Hockey Talk.

This week, the full complement of Nerds celebrates Father’s Day by looking at new trailers for Iron Heart and Superman. There was also a pleasant surprise this week, as a sequel to Spaceballs was officially announced, along with the return of some beloved cast members from the original. The live-action Legend of Zelda has been delayed by a few weeks. Is this a big nothing burger or a reason to be concerned? Disney & Universal take aim at MidJourney with a landmark lawsuit that could have big implications for AI-generated images moving forward. The guys say farewell to Sly Stone and Brian Wilson.
