The Bandwagon reaches the end of it’s 4th year on the air with an old-school, somewhat longer Episode. The guys begin by discussing Episode 5 of Season 2 of Loki. Last week, no one was sure what exactly had happened. Was the MCU reset? Was the TVA gone? Was everyone reduced to atoms? We got some answers, but also got more questions this week. A visit to the Trailer Park looks at debut trailers for Echo, and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, and many of the Nerds got very excited over the second trailer for Godzilla: Minus One. This past week, Variety ran an in-depth article discussing the MCU and what is wrong with it. The Nerds break it all down and offer their own thoughts on the matter. What, if anything, is wrong with the MCU and, more importantly, what can be done to fix it?

At the request of 2/3 of this week’s Bandwagon, the Nerds convened for an extra early morning recording of BWN this week. The guys continued their coverage of Game 7, and hockey took center stage as we went back in time to look at Game 7 of the 1987 Stanley Cup Finals between the Philadelphia Flyers and Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers dismantled the Flyers in the 1985 Cup Final. Things were much different in 1987 as the Oilers tried to establish their dynasty, and the young, fearless Flyers did all they could to prevent it. The Trailer Park was stripped down this week, but the guys looked at the big reveal for What If Season 3, Cameron Diaz’s return to action movies, and a fun look at Univeral’s Epic Universe, coming to Orlando this May. In News Around the Nerdosphere, it appears Denzel Washington is on the brink of an MCU debut, details for the Fantastic Four movie were revealed, and Star Wars continues to make news….for all the wrong reasons.

The Bandwagon begins reviewing a different kind of show for the next few weeks. As all the guys are massive sports fans, they decided to begin watching, and reviewing, the new series on Amazon Prime, Game 7. The first Episode of the series covered one of the all-time great Game 7s, featuring one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports, the Boston Red Sox vs. the New York Yankees. In 2003, the two rivals played an epic series that could only be resolved by one of the most improbable comebacks in Game 7 history. The guys offer their own personal perspectives on that game here on this Episode. The Trailer Park got some late additions from D23 Brazil with new trailers for Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts*, along with a trailer for a possible new classic in Dear Santa. There was also news coming from D23 Brazil including the MCU possibly shifting its focus towards the X-Men, a new release schedule/ protocol for the MCU, and rumors abound of where Star Wars might be heading…and why the guys are less than enthused.
