The Bandwagon returns to a familiar format as the Nerds found a show to review…..but not just any show. On this Episode, the guys cover Episodes 1-5 of X-Men ’97. To say the phenomenal series is an emotional roller-coaster is a huge understatement and after the soul-crushing conclusion of Episode 5, the Nerds found themselves wondering just how much more can our heroes endure in the back half of the season? A visit to the Trailer Park looks at a couple of very anticipated sequels in the form of Beverly Hils Cop: Axel F and Beetlejuice 2. News Around the Nerdosphere looks at the release date for James Gunn’s upcoming Supergirl movie, a huge lawsuit being brought against TicketMaster, and sweeping layoffs taking place at Pixar.

After The Acolyte caused some definite dissension among the Bandwagon last week, the division and difference of opinion among your favorite Nerds was doubled this week. Episode 3 of The Acolyte did nothing to assuage the dissension among the guys as far as the latest entry into the mythology of a galaxy far, far away. But then, we saw a similar division of opinion with respect to the first two Episodes of Season 4 of The Boys. What are the Nerds liking and what are they just not feeling with two of the biggest series of 2024? A short visit to the Trailer Park looks at the Sausage Party series none of the Nerds was asking for, and another solid property for Apple TV with a very interesting series called Sunny. Speaking of things no one asked for, we are getting a Director’s Cut of Rebel Moon and Patrick’s disgust can be felt many light years away. James Gunn rounds out his cast for his new Superman movie, Xbox had a tremendous week with their Showcase event and is a Spaceballs sequel possible? Tune in and find out.

The latest Star Wars series, The Acolyte, caused a definite disturbance in The Force among the Nerds this week. The guys discuss the first two Episodes but take a larger look at how the rampant review bombing of series like The Acolyte makes it very difficult to focus on valid issues and concerns fans might have about a series. In any event, the Nerds had some issues with the new show to be sure but was it enough to turn them off from the series entirety after just two Episodes. A visit to the Trailer Park looks at the latest for Season 3 of The Legend of Vox Machina, the third installment of the Venom series, and the latest entry from the Aliens franchise that definitely harkens back to the feel of the original movie from 1979! In News Around The Nerdosphere, Godzilla: Minus One continues to rewrite the record books, a favorite from the MCU retires, and casting rumors for the upcoming Beatles biopic has the guys excited.
