After The Acolyte caused some definite dissension among the Bandwagon last week, the division and difference of opinion among your favorite Nerds was doubled this week. Episode 3 of The Acolyte did nothing to assuage the dissension among the guys as far as the latest entry into the mythology of a galaxy far, far away. But then, we saw a similar division of opinion with respect to the first two Episodes of Season 4 of The Boys. What are the Nerds liking and what are they just not feeling with two of the biggest series of 2024? A short visit to the Trailer Park looks at the Sausage Party series none of the Nerds was asking for, and another solid property for Apple TV with a very interesting series called Sunny. Speaking of things no one asked for, we are getting a Director’s Cut of Rebel Moon and Patrick’s disgust can be felt many light years away. James Gunn rounds out his cast for his new Superman movie, Xbox had a tremendous week with their Showcase event and is a Spaceballs sequel possible? Tune in and find out.

This week, your favorite Nerds spend a lot of time talking about Marvel and the big things happening with the MCU in 2025 and beyond. We begin with a quick visit to the Trailer Park to look at the final trailer for Captain America: Brave New World and the first official trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. In News Around the Nerdosphere, the Russo Brothers gave us some insight as to why they decided to come back for two more Avengers movies, and some rather interesting details about Vision Quest have emerged. All that plus the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, a couple of video game announcements that the guys are excited about, Invincible releases its schedule for Season 3, and we pay our respects to Bob Uecker and David Lynch.

This week, the Nerds review 2024 and discuss what they felt was the best of the best in the Nerdosphere over the past year. From the best series to the best movie to the best performances and everything in between, the Nerds tell you what they felt truly stood out. There was also some big casting news: Ahsoka seems to have found the perfect man to replace the late, great Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, and the guys all feel excellent about this decision. The fellas also return to the Trailer Park to review a trailer about a pro wrestling promotion where the death matches are really to the death (Dark Match), another AI gone wrong movie (Companion), and the first real look at The Last of Us Season 2. All that and more on this week’s edition of Bandwagon Nerds.
