HPW returns to Eventide, but a hurricane has blown through! How will this change things for Treasure Island’s traditional challenge?

For the fifth year in a row, we return to Eventide Island to put all the championships on the line! And once again, The Hero of Hyrule must battle his shadow for the top prize. Kage won the Beat the Clock Challenge just last month, but his overall behavior since coming back has been baffling. Does he want to help Link? Or is he plotting something even now? And even Link’s friends have major fights on their hands. Zelda is giving Thunderbird a rematch for the Death Mountain Championship because even she felt she got a little lucky. But will she regret giving the Lucha-Rito a second chance?

The Studly Don’t Quit, and because of that, they all have championship opportunities tonight! Groose won a World Trios Championship match for him and the boys, and Ladrona has her eyes on the Goddess Championship, but will they be able to take everything from Arrow Club? Or will they all get shot down? We’ll also see the Gerudo Ace throw caution to the wind and take on whoever in a Termina Championship defense, and we see the UnderWorld Order come back for revenge on Kevin Gibdo. Will the Dark Forces soon lose the gold they fought so hard to have? Or will their fortunes be washed away with the tide?

Speaking of “washed away,” Hurricane Tianui was running wild, and the wind and waves washed away a lot of the walking paths and wrecked the trees. As such, the Eventide Challenge cannot be held in its traditional form. So for the first time ever, the Eventide Challenge will be a ladder match! Aveil, Taros Blanco, Yunobo, Iron Knuckle and Ghirahim will be joined by a sixth, but only one can head for the Clash of Fates! HPW Treasure Island 5 starts now!

Eventide Challenge Ladder Match: Aveil VS Taros Blanco VS Yunobo VS Iron Knuckle VS Ghirahim VS ???

The Desert Flower, the Alpha Taros, the Macho Goron, #ForbedByViolence and the Living Blade all fought hard in the Beat the Clock Challenge back in July, but none of them could win fast enough to earn tonight’s main event shot at the Undisputed HPW Triforce World Championship. However, they’ll all be getting a second chance with this Eventide Challenge! But who is joining them? Everyone watches the entryway, and… IT’S MIDNA! The Twilight Princess returns at a rather opportune time, will she ruin everyone’s rise to the top?

The introductions are made, the prize is raised high up above, and we see who rises above the storm!

The bell rings and Ghirahim goes right after Midna! That rivalry reignites as the two brawl! Meanwhile, Yunobo RAMS Knuckle, and Aveil dodges Blanco to DROPKICK! Those Beat the Clock Challenge matches reignite, as well! Blanco tumbles out of the ring, Aveil goes to ropes, and she PLANCHAS! Direct hit on Blanco and the fans fire up! In the ring, Knuckle and Yunobo throw big forearms back and forth. Ghirahim CHOPS Midna, Midna CHOPS back! Ghirahim CHOPS again, so Midna CHOPS again! Ghirahim kicks low, whips, but Midna reverses. Ghirahim stops himself, but Aveil trips him and drags him out!

Aveil sends Ghirahim into barriers, then looks around at all the ladders. Aveil grabs one, brings it to the apron, but Midna grabs it! The two tug-o-war, Midna SHOVES the ladder into Aveil and Aveil staggers back into barriers. Midna then drags the ladder in, but that gets the attention of Yunobo and Knuckle. They stop trading shots to go after Midna! Knuckle CLUBS Midna and Yunobo pushes the ladder towards a corner. Knuckle pushes Midna into another corner, then JABS! JABS! JABS! Yunobo runs in, Knuckle moves so the SPLASH hits Midna! Midna falls over, Knuckle JABS Yunobo! And JABS! And JABS!

The fans duel as Knuckle fires off more hands on Yunobo in the corner, then even RIDGE HANDS him over and over! Blanco returns and runs in, but Knuckle dodges again so the DROPKICK hits Yunobo! Yunobo sits down, Knuckle runs in at Blanco, but Blanco OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES Knuckle onto Yunobo! The fans fire up seeing that feat of strength while Knuckle flops out of the ring. Blanco goes to the far corner and he takes aim at Yunobo. Blanco fires up, runs in, but then he jumps to fake Yunobo out, so that he can BOOT him! Blanco rolls back to tranquilo, but Aveil is back and grabs his raised arm!

Aveil has an ARMBAR on Blanco! Submissions won’t win but they still do damage! And arms are needed for climbing! The fans fire up but Blanco fights around. Yunobo storms up to SENTON on Aveil! Aveil sputters from being squashed, but Blanco is upset with Yunobo for landing on his arm! Blanco insults Yunobo, kicks him low, but Yunobo just scowls. Yunobo HEADBUTTS Blanco! Blanco staggers but he stays up, and he only gets angrier. Blanco storms up to Yunobo, and HEADBUTTS him back! Yunobo wobbles, but he shakes it off, and he HEADBUTTS Blanco again! Fans fire up while Blanco wobbles!

Blanco snarls as he shakes it off, and he HEADBUTTS again! Yunobo wobbles and flails his arms to stay up! Fans rally, Yunobo steadies himself, and he HEADBUTTS Blanco! Blanco leans back in a daze, but he stays on his feet!  Blanco huffs ‘n’ puffs and grabs Yunobo’s head with both hands! And HEADBUTTS! Yunobo finally staggers backwards into a corner! The fans fire up with Blanco, but then Knuckle storms in with a ladder! Knuckle CLOBBERS Blanco! Yunobo runs up but Knuckle CLOBBERS him, too! Midna and Ghirahim both slide up behind Knuckle, but Knuckle just backs up to CLOBBER them, too!

The fans are losing their minds as Knuckle stands tall. Knuckle goes to center, stands the ladder up, but Aveil springboards in and MISSILE DROPKICKS the ladder into Knuckle! Knuckle tumbles out, the ladder leans against ropes, and the fans fire up more. Aveil sees Knuckle, Ghirahim and Midna all outside. Aveil looks at the ladder, and she starts to walk on it! Or rather, walk up it! The fans cheer as she goes rung after rung to go from ladder to top rope, and then she CROSSBODIES! Down goes Knuckle, Ghirahim and Midna! The fans fire up, “That was Awesome!” But then Blanco grabs the ladder!

Blanco stands the ladder up, the fans are torn, but Blanco still climbs. But Yunobo is there to drag him back down! Yunobo fireman’s carries, but Blanco slips free! Blanco kicks low, whips but Yunobo reverses. Blanco comes back to RAN- NO! Yunobo blocks the rana and brings Blanco up! Yunobo POWERBOMBS Blanco into the ladder! Blanco slumps off the rungs and the ladder falls over! Yunobo goes to fetch the ladder, but Aveil brings another one in! Aveil RAMS Yunobo with the ladder and he falls over! Aveil stands her ladder up and the fans fire up. Aveil climbs, but Ghirahim returns! The fans boo as Ghirahim drags Aveil down.

Ghirahim CHOPS Aveil, whips, but Aveil reverses to TOSS Ghirahim out. Ghirahim lands on the apron, Aveil storms up but Ghirahim trips her. Ghirahim then slingshots in to ELBOW DROP! Knuckle returns and runs up on Ghirahim to clinch and BELLY2BELLY! Ghirahim tumbles, Knuckle goes for the ladder, but Midna’s back to BOOT Knuckle! Knuckle rebounds and BOOTS back! Midna has to be careful because of the ladder, Knuckle storms up but Midna CHOPS! Knuckle just brushes it off! Midna CHOPS again, and again, and again, but Knuckle still doesn’t budge! Knuckle CHOPS and Midna staggers back!

Blanco trips Midna and drags her out of the ring! The fans boo but Blanco RAMS Midna into railing! But then Knuckle DIVES onto Blanco and sends him into Midna! Fans fire up as Knuckle turns around. Aveil ASAI MOONSAULTS, but Knuckle casually walks out of the way! Aveil’s moonsault takes out Blanco and Midna together! Knuckle chuckles, but then Aveil is right up to DROPKICK him into barriers! Aveil storms up to stomp Knuckle down, but Yunobo comes running in! Aveil dodges and Yunobo busts through the barriers! Fans lose their minds while Aveil hurries into the ring!

Aveil stands the ladder up and climbs, but Ghirahim sneaks up behind her. Ghirahim grabs at Aveil’s legs, she kicks at him, but he still trips her up! Aveil gets stuck in the rungs, and now she’s in a Tree of Woe! Ghirahim stomps her, then climbs up while fans boo. Ghirahim taunts the fans, but then Aveil sits up! Aveil waistlocks Ghirahim to SKULLTULA GERMAN SUPLEX!! Ghirahim crashes down hard, and Aveil sits up again. Aveil gets her leg free, and she shakes it out. Aveil looks up the ladder, shakes her leg out again, and slowly climbs. The bad leg is bothering her, and the others outside the ring are starting to stir.

Wait! Here comes Tali! The fans fire up but what is the Dame of the Dunes doing here? Tali slides right into the ring, and she says she’ll help Aveil up the ladder! Aveil thanks Tali, and Tali gets Aveil up on her shoulders. The fans cheer, but then Tali walks away from the ladder? Aveil is confused, but then Tali glares up at her?! ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP!! The fans are shocked but Tali isn’t done! She brings the ladder down and SLAMS it onto Aveil! Tali presses the ladder down onto Aveil, staring her in the eyes the entire time! Aveil cries in pain, asking why Tali is doing this! Tali lets off, pushes the ladder aside, then drags Aveil up.

Tali gut wrenches Aveil up, for a DOMINATOR onto the ladder!! Fans that aren’t losing their minds are booing Tali as hard as they can! Tali watches Aveil writhe, then drags her out of the ring! Tali drags Aveil away up the ramp! Ghirahim sees that, then ignores it to go drag the ladder back over to center. Only to get a TWILIGHT SLEEP onto the ladder! Midna grabs the ladder, but then so does Blanco! They tug-o-war, Yunobo and Knuckle both get in, so Midna and Blanco BOOT each of them! Blanco runs, Midna gets him a boost and Blanco DOUBLE DROPKICKS the big guys! Yunobo tumbles back out but Knuckle stays in.

Blanco storms up to HEADBUTT Knuckle! Both men wobble, and Midna reels Blanco in to hit a back suplex onto the ladder! Blanco writhes while Knuckle runs up on Midna! Midna dodges Knuckle and comes back to SPEAR him down! The fans fire up as Midna stands tall, and she stands the ladder up! Only for Yunobo to run in and POUNCE her right out of the ring!! The fans boo as Yunobo climbs up the ladder unopposed! Yunobo grabs the golden prize ball and wins!!

Winner: Yunobo (2024 Mr. Eventide)

The Macho Goron flexes on top of the ladder, having snatched victory away from the Twilight Princess! But this also means Yunobo gets one more shot at the Undisputed Triforce World Championship! Will the third time truly be the charm? Or will it be three strikes you’re out for the third-generation wrestler?

Million Rupee Championship: Kevin Gibdo VS Death Sword w/ Ted Beedle Ossi!

Hollywood ReDead tried to screw The Gibdo of All Gibdos over with help from The UnderWorld Order, but The Dark Forces made sure that wouldn’t happen. Now the uWo is coming for revenge, with “Big D” stepping up to the plate. Will Death Sword be the death of Kevin?

The introductions are made, and- Death Sword doesn’t wait for the bell! Death Sword goes right after Kevin to throw hands! The bell rings, the two throw haymakers, and then Death Sword knees low! Death Sword whips to a corner to then LARIAT! Death Sword ELBOWS Kevin, then whips corner to corner. Death Sword runs up but into a BOOT! Kevin LARIATS Death Sword down! The fans fire up and Kevin runs, but Death Sword avoids the elbow drop! Both men get up and Death Sword LARIATS Kevin up and out! But Kevin lands on his feet! Kevin drags Death Sword out to throw heavy body shots!

Kevin goes up the apron but Death Sword drags him back down! Death Sword throws hands, then goes for steps! Kevin blocks that to SMACK Death Sword off the steps first! The fans fire up, Death Sword gets into the ring, and Kevin pursues. Death Sword kicks Kevin, whips Kevin, but Kevin UPPERCUTS Death Sword out of the back drop! Kevin scoops, Death Sword slips free! Death Sword shoves Kevin, Kevin ducks ‘n’ dodges to CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Death Sword scrambles up but Kevin is right after him. Kevin kicks Death Sword, wrenches an arm and CLUBS him. Kevin then goes up the corner!

The fans fire up as Kevin goes Old School and AX HANDLES Death Sword! Death Sword stays up so Kevin kicks low! Kevin runs, but Death Sword ducks the leaping lariat! Kevin tumbles to the apron, and Death Sword drags him up! But Kevin HOTSHOTS free! Beedle sneers while Kevin goes back up. Kevin storms in to fire hands on Death Sword! UPPERCUT and Death Sword tumbles up and out! Kevin pursues and he POSTS Death Sword! Death Sword slumps down and Kevin grabs a chair! Beedle freaks out, the ref reprimands, but Death Sword ducks! Chair hits post! Death Sword knees low, then whips Kevin into railing!

Kevin hobbles and falls over, the ref reprimands and wants this in the ring. Death Sword leaves Kevin behind just long enough to refresh the count. Death Sword drags Kevin up, BEARHUGS him, and then POSTS him in return! Kevin sputters while Death Sword again refreshes the count. Kevin drags Death Sword up, grins, and then scoops Kevin to POST him again! Death Sword drops Kevin, paces around, and he storms back into the ring. Death Sword soaks up the heat while the ring count climbs. Kevin rises at 4 of 10, storms up to the apron, but Death Sword BLASTS him down! Beedle taunts Kevin but Kevin rises up.

Kevin glares at Beedle but he runs away. Kevin goes up to the apron but Death Sword is there to whip him and BOOT him down! The fans boo while Death Sword paces around. Kevin reaches out in a daze while Death Sword taunts him. Death Sword drags Kevin up, just to DECK him! Death Sword talks trash, stands Kevin up and he fires haymakers! Kevin drops to his knees, but he glares up at Death Sword in defiance. Death Sword DECKS him for it! The fans rally for Kevin and he rises again. But Death Sword scoops for a SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, TWO! Kevin is tougher than that and Death Sword is frustrated.

Death Sword drags Kevin up, scoops him, and SNAKE EYES off buckles! Kevin flounders to ropes, Death Sword runs in to STRADDLE ATTACK! The fans boo and Rusl can’t believe those ropes stayed together! Beedle taunts Kevin and Death Sword soaks up more heat. Death Sword drags Kevin up into a corner, KNEES him low, then KNEES him again. Death Sword throws another KNEE, then ROCKS Kevin! Kevin grits his teeth but Death Sword ROCKS him again. Kevin fires body shots but Death Sword kicks low. Death Sword whips corner to corner, but Kevin comes back with an ELBOW! Kevin kicks, UPPERCUTS, but Death Sword ROCKS him again!

Both men stagger back, and both men storm up to DOUBLE BOOT! The fans fire up while both behemoths are down and a standing count starts. The count passes 5 of 10, then 7! Beedle coaches Death Sword, but Kevin sits up! The fans fire up, Death Sword stirs and he rises up. Death Sword CLUBS Kevin, whips him corner to corner, then catches him for the BEARHUG! Kevin endures, even as Death Sword thrashes him! Kevin grabs at Death Sword’s face but Death Sword squeezes tighter! Kevin grabs Death Sword by the face but Death Sword thrashes him! The fans rally harder, but Kevin is fading! But then he BELL CLAPS!

Death Sword lets Kevin go, staggers, but he manages to headlock. Kevin powers up to lift Death Sword and SAIDO! Both men are down again, but Kevin stirs. Kevin rises first, Beedle panics, and the fans fire up! Kevin drops an ELBOW! Kevin snarls and rises up, and he goes up a corner! Death Sword rises, Kevin FLYING LARIATS! Both men go down again but Kevin drags Death Sword to a cover, TWO! Death Sword survives but Kevin brings him up. Kevin KNEES Death Sword, whips him to ropes, but Death Sword ROCKS him in return! Death Sword gets Kevin up, DEATH BOMB! The fans boo as Death Sword roars!

Death Sword takes his time gloating, but Kevin sits right up again! Death Sword has seen a ghost! Except Kevin’s a mummy! Death Sword kicks Kevin, CLUBS him, reels him back in, another DEATH BOMB! Beedle is relieved seeing this scene and Death Sword is laughing! Death Sword kneels for a cocky cover, TWO as Kevin grabs Death Sword’s neck!! Death Sword fires down fists, gets free of the grip, but Kevin just reaches up again! Death Sword rains down more fists, but Kevin just fights up to his feet! The fans are all fired up as Kevin glares into Death Sword’s eyes! But Death Sword CLUBS the arm away, and SAIDOS!

Both behemoths are down again, and Death Sword sputters as he hurries away. But Kevin sits up again! The fans fire up as Kevin stalks behind Death Sword. Death Sword turns around, freaks out, and he fires hands! Kevin gives those all back! UPPERCUT! UPPERCUT! Whip, but Death Sword reverses! Kevin ducks ‘n’ dodges, and LEAPING LARIAT hits! The fans fire up and Kevin storms back up on Death Sword! Choke grip, and CHOKE SLAM!! But even Kevin is down after putting so much into that! Kevin glares at Beedle, waits on Death Sword, and slashes his throat! Scoop and TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!! Cover, Kevin wins!

Winner: Kevin Gibdo, by pinfall (still Million Rupee Champion)

That “Big Death Energy” didn’t help Death Sword, Kevin still has the gold! But then Gomess rushes in and CLOBBERS Kevin! The fans boo as Gomess throws down fists! Gomess soaks up the heat from the fans, then drags Kevin up. But then Kevin choke grips Gomess! The fans cheer but Gomess kicks low. Gomess reels Kevin in and brings him up in the crucifix! SCYTHE’S EDGE!! The fans boo more as Gomess stands over Kevin, and this time Kevin stays down. The uWo is determined to get this title back, will Gomess be the one to do it?

HPW Death Mountain Championship: Zelda VS Thunderbird!

The Princess of Hyrule has joined rarified air by having held both the Goddess and Death Mountain titles in her career. But she’s still a good sport by giving Thunderbird this rematch to see if there can be a more definitive result. Will Zelda still stand on the mountaintop? Or will the summer heat help Thunderbird rise back up?

Zelda brings back her pirate princess outfit, and Thunderbird brings out new green ring gear. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who shines in the sun with this gold!

The bell rings and the two circle. The fans rally up as the two feel things out, then they tie up. Zelda wrenches to wristlock, and she keeps Thunderbird from ropes. Thunderbird rolls, slips under to then cording hold, then he arm-drags Zelda down for an armlock. Zelda reaches up to headscissor but Thunderbird blocks that. Zelda kips up and she arm-drags in return! The fans fire up as the two stand off. The two reset, circle again, and tie up. Zelda gets around to waistlock, and she SLAMS Thunderbird down. Thunderbird sits up, pries at the waistlock, they stand up and then Thunderbird switches.

Zelda pries at the waistlock, but Thunderbird returns the SLAM. Thunderbird floats all over Zelda, slaps her around to mess up her hair, then he backs off. Zelda gets up in a huff and fixes her hair while she and Thunderbird reset. The fans rally up again and the two tie up. Zelda headlocks, grinds the hold, but Thunderbird brings her to her knees to pop out the back. Thunderbird headlocks in return, hits a takeover, but Zelda headscissors. Thunderbird kips free, roles reverse as Zelda headlocks for the takeover and Thunderbird headscissors. Zelda kips free and headlocks again, but Thunderbird handsprings through the takeover!

Fans fire up as Thunderbird runs the ropes. Zelda drops down, bypasses Thunderbird, but Thunderbird turns hip toss into arm-drag! Thunderbird DROPKICKS Zelda down and she bails out of the ring! The fans fire up and Thunderbird hurries to the ropes. Thunderbird PLANCHAS and down goes Zelda! The fans are torn while Thunderbird stands tall. Thunderbird hurries to get Zelda up and into the ring, then he covers. TWO, but Thunderbird grabs Zelda’s arm and drags her around! FUJIWARA ARMBAR! Zelda scrambles around and reaches out, ROPEBREAK with a foot! The ref counts but Thunderbird lets off fast.

The fans rally and duel, “Let’s Go, Zelda!” “THUN-DER-BIRD!” while the two reset again. Zelda shakes out the arm, she and Thunderbird feel things out, and of course he goes after the left arm. Zelda avoids him, keeping her left arm back, so Thunderbird goes for a leg instead! Thunderbird trips Zelda, grabs both legs, and works to turn her over. Zelda resists, but Thunderbird still turns her over for a SAND CRAB! The fans rally and duel again as Zelda endures! Zelda reaches out, crawls forward, and grabs the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Thunderbird lets off at 4, and he runs the ropes. Thunderbird comes back, and he DROPKICKS Zelda through the ropes!

The fans are torn as Zelda dangles out of the ring! Thunderbird goes out to the apron, Zelda tries to sit up, but Thunderbird WOE STOMPS her to the floor! The fans lose their minds while Thunderbird stands back up. Thunderbird drags Zelda up and into the ring, then he goes up the corner. 450 SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Zelda survives and the fans fire up! Thunderbird is frustrated, goes back to the corner and climbs again. Zelda crawls over and anchors Thunderbird’s foot. Thunderbird kicks at her, gets loose, and MOONSAULTS, only for Zelda to get under! Thunderbird lands on his feet, Zelda jumps on for a GUILLOTINE FACELOCK!

The fans fire up as Thunderbird struggles to stay standing! Zelda pulls on Thunderbird’s head while she has the body scissors wrapped on! Thunderbird marches forward, reaches out, but Zelda lets go of his head to swing around and grab the arm, all while keeping the body scissors! Now she has a KIMURA! The fans are thunderous as Thunderbird endures a different hold now! Thunderbird reaches out for the ropes with his other arm but Zelda cranks on the double wristlock! Thunderbird squats, but he powers back up and steps forward to the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer, but Zelda holds on until the ref counts 4.

Thunderbird shakes out the bad arm, and Zelda eggs him on. Thunderbird keeps that arm back while he circles with Zelda, but she keeps going for it. Thunderbird uses that to send her into a corner. Thunderbird ELBOWS Zelda in the corner, then PELES! Zelda staggers, Thunderbird whips, but Zelda reverses to wrench and WRING the bad arm! Zelda then steps over to drop a knee on the elbow! Zelda keeps the arm trapped and she drags Thunderbird around into an omoplata! Thunderbird scrambles while fans duel again! Thunderbird reaches out, even as Zelda grabs for his face! ROPEBREAK! The ref counts and Zelda lets off.

Zelda waits while Thunderbird shakes out the bad arm. Thunderbird stands up by the ropes, and the fans rally up again. Zelda and Thunderbird circle again, Zelda still wanting the bad arm. Thunderbird CHOPS Zelda, Zelda seethes, then she CHOPS back! Thunderbird kicks low, CLUBS Zelda, then whips. Zelda reverses but Thunderbird goes up and over to then waistlock. Zelda fights the lift, reaches for ropes, but Thunderbird then pushes her into them. SNAP GERMAN on the rebound! Zelda flounders but Thunderbird stomps her into the drop zone. The fans rally as Thunderbird goes to the corner and climbs.

Thunderbird aims from the very top, to SUPREME- FLOP as Zelda moves! The fans fire up while Thunderbird flounders, and both opponents are down. Zelda drags herself up with the ropes, storms over to Thunderbird, and drags him up with a half nelson. REQUIM OF SPIRIT! Thunderbird flounders around from the Half ‘n’ Half suplex, and Zelda stalks up behind him again. Zelda KICKS, KICKS, SOBATS, and ENZIGIRI, the Bolero of Fire! The fans fire up as Thunder-Teba steps through, but Zelda kicks at him! Zelda kicks Thunder-Teba away, then gets up to put the mask back on him, but backwards! Thunder-Teba takes blind punches, Zelda drop toeholds him, and then floats! She shifts him around, ghost pin into DUNGEON TRAP! TWO!!!

Thunder-Teba escapes and that shocks everyone! Thunder-Teba throws off the mask, and Zelda ROUNDHOUSES him! Then SUPERKICKS! Then PELES! Thunder-Teba staggers to ropes, comes back, and Zelda reels him in with wristlocks! PRELUDE- NO, Thunder-Teba fights the lift! He KNEES Zelda, she drops to her knees, and he BUZZSAWS! Zelda sputters, Thunder-Teba aims from a corner! Zelda rises up, into WHITE LIGHTNING!!! Cover, THUNDER-TEBA WINS!!!

Eventide Island doesn’t have a volcano, but there’s still an eruption from the crowd! Whether he’s Thunderbird or Teba, he just pinned The Princess of Hyrule and took this title back! HPW Goddess Championship: Ruto VS Ladrona!

It’s part one of an Arrow Club VS TSDQ double header! Will the Zora Princess be the one to settle things from ThunderStruck? Or will the Thief Girl steal away Ruto’s crown?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who strikes first!

The fans are already chanting “RUTO SUCKS! RUTO SUCKS!” She tells them to shut up, but they only get louder. The bell rings, Ruto bails out to tell everyone to stop chanting. Ladrona tells Ruto to get in the ring, but Ruto tells her to back up from the ropes. Ladrona backs up, Ruto slides in, and the two circle. They tie up, and Ladrona arm-drags Ruto! Ruto claims Ladrona pulled on her, well, not hair being a Zora. But she claims it was the back of her head fin. The ref says, “What fin?” Ruto grumbles, and she resets with Ladrona. They circle, feel things out, and tie up. Ruto headlocks, hits a takeover, but Ladrona headscissors.

Ruto kips free, she headlocks again for another takeover, but Ladrona headscissors again. Ruto hits a third headlock takeover, but Ladrona again headscissors! Ruto kips out a third time, and she again complains to the ref that Ladrona is pulling something on her head! The fans boo as Ruto just complains and complains. Ladrona storms up, the two reset to circle, and Ladrona headlocks. Ruto powers up and out but Ladrona CLOBBERS Ruto! The fans fire up while Ruto scrambles away to ropes! Ladrona eggs Ruto on, and Ruto huffs ‘n’ puffs as they reset again. They tie up, Ruto wrenches to then get a leg and trip Ladrona up.

Ruto ties up Ladrona’s legs but Ladrona hits back with an elbow. Ruto pulls Ladrona’s hair! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, and Ruto frowns. Ruto drags Ladrona up to wrench and top wristlock. Ruto wrangles Ladrona but Ladrona kips up to arm-drag free! Ruto throws a fit but the fans fire up! Ladrona and Ruto reset again, the fans chant “Ruto’s a Brat! Ruto’s a Brat!” Ruto tells them to shut up, then she ties up with Ladrona. Ruto powers Ladrona to a corner, pulling hair! The ref reprimands, Ruto lets go, to GORO UPPERCUT! And then CHOP! And GORO UPPERCUT! And CHOP! Ladrona sputters, but Ruto whips corner to corner.

Ladrona goes up and over, arm-drags then CHOPS Ruto! Ruto is stinging, but Ladrona arm-drags again! Ladrona has the wristlock on the mat, Ruto keeps her shoulder up, so Ladrona drops an elbow on the elbow! Ladrona pulls on the arm to have another wristlock, but Ruto powers up to her feet. Ladrona arm-drags Ruto down to cover, TWO! Ruto claws at Ladrona, the ref reprimands, but Ladrona pushes harder on the arm. Ruto endures, but Ladrona shifts for an arm puller! Ruto’s shoulders are down so the ref counts, TWO! Ruto fights up to stack Ladrona, but Ladrona pulls on the arm! Ladrona wrangles Ruto again!

The fans rally, Ruto endures and fights around again, even with Ladrona’s boot in her cheek. Ruto has the ROPEBREAK, but then Ladrona drags Ruto down! Ruto seethes as she fights up, slips through the leg guard, and she works to use ropes in the high stack! TWO, but Ruto kicks low! Ruto whips, Ladrona reverses, but Ruto gets around and wrangles Ladrona into a cradle! TWO and Ladrona steps through, LA MAGISTROL! TWO! Both stand, and Ladrona arm-drags again! Ruto is getting mad now, and she flounders around. Ruto reaches for ropes but Ladrona drags her back. Ladrona drops an elbow on the elbow!

Ladrona shifts her grip to have a cording hold, but Ruto fights up. Ruto throws a knee then a hip toss, but Ladrona holds on! Ladrona drags Ruto down again! Ruto fights up, goes to ropes, and uses those to flip through the armlock! But Ladrona ducks the haymaker to waistlock! Ruto throws elbows until she’s free, then runs. Ladrona drops down then hurdles, to then ALLEY-OOP Ruto into the ropes! Ruto sputters, Ladrona LYNEL-SAULTS! Cover, TWO! Ladrona storms up on Ruto to arm-drag again! Ladrona has a top wristlock but Ruto endures. The fans rally as Ladrona grinds the arm, showing her full technical arsenal.

Ruto grabs at Lardona’s hair, but Ladrona swings Ruto around. Ruto uses that to go up and over ropes and she HOTSHOTS Ladrona away! The fans boo but Ruto has a sinister grin. Ruto storms in to DROPKICK Ladrona into ropes! Ruto runs and DROPKICKS Ladrona on the back! Ruto stomps away on Ladrona at the ropes but the ref has her back off. The fans boo Ruto but she sticks her tongue out at them. Ruto bumps Ladrona off buckles, then CHOPS! Ruto whips Ladrona corner to corner, Ladrona falls to her knees! Ruto brings Ladrona up to snapmare her into a chinlock, and then digs both knees into Ladrona’s back!

Fans rally while Ladrona endures being bent back against Ruto’s knees. Ladrona flails, reaches out, but Ruto has her legs trapped, too! The fans rally harder and harder, and Ladrona reaches back to claw at Ruto’s face! Ruto shoves Ladrona away, then stalks behind her. Ruto drags Ladrona up by her hair, then reels her in for a BIG back suplex! Ruto drags Ladrona around to hook the legs. Ladrona resists as Ruto reaches for ropes, but Ruto SLAPS her on the back. Ruto grabs the arms, and it’s up, up and away, into a chinlock! No Romero Special, Ruto is all but choking Ladrona! The ref checks that grip, it’s still just the chinlock!

The fans rally as Ladrona endures, Ruto shifts into a DRAGON SLEEPER! Ladrona endures, flails, so Ruto shifts to a part motorcycle stretch! The fans rally harder and harder, and Ladrona powers up! Ladrona sits up with core strength alone! Ladrona gets her legs free to stand up, and she goes around and around! Ruto keeps her from ropes, and even digs her forehead into Ladrona’s shoulder blades for leverage! But then Ladrona powers up and turns things around! Ruto drops down to UP KICK! Ruto GORO UPPERS again, and Ladrona falls over! Ruto drops an elbow on Ladrona’s back! Then she drags Ladrona over to the ropes.

Ruto goes out, slingshot SENTON onto Ladrona’s back! A little something from the Torbellinos, perhaps? Cover, TWO! Ladrona stays in this but Ruto stays on Ladrona with a wrench. Ruto gets under Ladrona, for an inverted Gory Especial! Ladrona endures being upside-down while also being bent back! The fans rally, Ladrona kicks free, and she flips things around onto Ruto! Now Ruto endures the Gory Especial! The fans fire up, but Ruto manages to sit up, only for Ladrona to SLAM her down! Ruto sputters, but she manages to avoid the basement dropkick! The fans rally, and now Ladrona dodges a basement dropkick!

Ladrona fires forearms and CHOPS, then CHOPS again! Ladrona whips, BACK ELBOWS, then whips again. Ruto dodges the second back elbow, kicks and knuckle locks. Ruto goes up and up, tightrope walks, but Ladrona trips her! Ruto gets hung out to dry on the top rope! Ladrona triangle jump DROPKICKS her down! Ruto is on the apron, Ladrona goes out after her, brings her up, but Ruto resists! Ladrona still tries, but Ruto shoves free! Ruto runs up, but Ladrona FLAPJACK HOTSHOTS her off ropes! Both ladies go to the floor, but Ruto ends up falling onto Ladrona! A miscalculation by Ladrona and now they’re both down!

The fans rally up, the ring count starts, and Ladrona is up first. She slides in at 5 of 10, goes back for ropes and Ruto is up. Ruto RAMS into Ladrona, trips her, then slingshots to SENTON, but Ladrona dodges! Ladrona swings, Ruto gets around, but Ladrona throws elbows. Ladrona switches, shoves, and SNAP GERMANS on the rebound! The fans fire up while Ruto flounders around. Ladrona crawls over to cover, ROPEBREAK! Another miscalculation and Ladrona grumbles. Ladrona drags Ruto up, fires a forearm then whips. Ruto reverses, but Ladrona slips around the lariat! Ladrona spins Ruto but Ruto clinches Ladrona, URENAGE!

Both women are down again and the fans are torn. Ruto waits on Ladrona to rise, and runs in, but into another FLAPJACK! Cover, TWO! Ladrona hurries to kick Ruto to a corner. Ladrona CHOPS, whips, but Ruto reverses. Ruto runs up, Ladrona boots her away while also going to the apron! Ladrona springboards for a FLYING MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, TWO!! Ruto survives and Ladrona is beside herself! Ladrona drags Ruto up, the fans rally and Ladrona whips. Fireman’s carry, to a FLAPJACK! LA MAGISTROL, but Ruto pops free to cover, TWO!! Ladrona escapes, Ruto jumps up, but Ladrona ALLEY-OOPS her again!

Ladrona goes for a leg, Ruto scrambles around, turns over, and she kicks Ladrona away! Ruto goes to a corner, Ladrona runs up to ELBOW in the corner! Ladrona puts Ruto up top, the fans fire up, and Ladrona climbs up. Ladrona goes to the very top, and she SUPER- CROSSBODY COUNTER!! Ruto has Ladrona down, she hurries back up top, FROG SPLASH!!! Cover, Ruto wins!!

HPW World Trios Championship: Arrow Club VS TSDQ!

As Ladrona meets the rest of her team at the stage, they reassure her while she gives them one last pep talk. Then when Fin Balure & The Young Ducks make their entrance, they high-five and pose for photos with Ruto as she’s on her way out. The trios then stare down in the ring. The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who settles the score!

The trios sort out, and Fin starts against Groose as a revisit of just last month. The fans rally up as the two circle, then tie up. Groose gets around to waistlock but Fin fights the lift with elbows. Fin standing switches, then he SLAPS Groose on the back of his shaved head. Groose gets mad, but Fin backs away to the Arrow Club corner. The ref has Groose stay back while Fin grins, and then Fin tags out to Mack Quackson. The fans are torn as Mack steps in, but Groose keeps cool. Groose and Mack circle, feel things out, then tie up. Mack headlocks, grinds the hold, but Groose powers up, only for Mack to hold on tight as Groose tries to power out!

Mack grinds Groose to the mat, the fans rally and duel, and Groose fights back up. Groose powers up to lift Mack, but Mack thrashes the hold. Mack brings Groose around, tag to Rick, but Groose powers up to throw Mack away! Groose storms up on Mack but Rick CLUBS Groose on the back! Mack gets up, The Ducks double whip Groose, to DOUBLE HIP TOSS, then they both handspring and DOUBLE BASEMENT DROPKICK! Cover, ONE, but Rick clamps on a chinlock. The fans rally while Groose endures. Groose fights up, pries at the hold, then wrenches free. Groose hammerlocks, headlocks, then hits the takeover.

Rick headscissors, Groose tries to kip free but Rick holds on tight. Groose sits up to roll Rick, but Rick rolls Groose back down, only for Groose to roll back and pop free! Rick avoids the sliding lariat! Rick rolls Groose to a ghost pin, TWO! Groose has a cover, TWO! The two stand up for a standoff and the fans cheer. Skull Kid reaches out for a tag and the fans are torn. Groose thinks about it, and he tags Skull Kid in! The fans are still torn as Skull Kid jumps in, but now Fin tags in! Fin grins again while Groose is annoyed, but Skull Kid and Fin circle. They feel things out, and then Fin knees low! The fans are torn again while Fin headlocks.

Fin hits a takeover, Skull Kid tries to headscissor but Fin shrugs it off. Fin grinds the hold, Skull Kid endures, and Skull Kid still tries to get the headscissors. Skull Kid pushes a forearm into Fin’s face, which the ref reprimands, but Skull Kid manages the headscissors. Fin kips free, Skull Kid headlocks for the takeover, but Fin headscissors right away. Skull Kid kips free, but Fin CHOPS him! Skull Kid wobbles, Fin whips Skull Kid to the Arrow Club corner, then runs up to CHOP again! Tag to Mack, and Arrow Club stomps a mudhole. The ref counts, Fin lets off at 4, but Mack keeps going! The ref counts more, Mack tags to Rick.

Rick hops in, and now he stomps a mudhole! The ref counts more, Rick lets off at 4 and drags Skull Kid up. Rick tags Fin, then brings Skull Kid around. Rick feeds Skull Kid to a KNEE down low from Fin! Fin then wraps Skull Kid up in a COBRA TWIST! The fans rally while Skull Kid endures! Groose & Tingle coach Skull Kid, but Fin reaches out behind him. Mack reaches out to link up with Fin! Then Mack links with Rick and Rick grabs railing! The fans are torn as Skull Kid suffers from this “cobra chain!” The ref looks, The Ducks let go in time, and Fin keeps on Skull Kid with the abdominal stretch.

The fans rally again, and Fin again reaches out. Mack grabs Fin’s hand, links up with Rick and Rick again reaches for railing. The fans boo, Groose & Tingle protest, so The Ducks have to let off already. The ref is starting to be suspicious but Fin still pulls and twists Skull Kid. Skull Kid still endures, and he pries free to hip toss Fin down! The fans fire up, but Fin trips Skull Kid! Fin anchors Skull Kid, reaches out, and Mack tags in. Mack ELBOW DROPS Skull Kid on the back! The fans are torn as Mack keeps Skull Kid down with a CAMEL CLUTCH! Mack even taunts Groose & Tingle as they have to look him and Skull Kid in the eyes!

The fans rally as Skull Kid endures. Skull Kid gets an arm free, reaches out for his corner, but Mack pulls way back! The fans rally harder, Skull Kid still endures, and he claws at the mat. Mack lets off to drop another elbow on Skull Kid’s back! Mack pushes Skull Kid to a cover, TWO! Skull Kid scrambles forward but Mack grabs a leg! Mack drags Skull Kid all the way back to the Arrow Club corner! The fans are torn as Fin tags back in and he stomps Skull Kid down. Fin taunts Groose, the ref has to keep Fin and Groose apart, and that lets The Ducks stomp away on Skull Kid! Fin then goes back to Skull Kid to stand him up.

Fin CHOPS Skull Kid against ropes! The fans “WOO~” and Fin whips. Skull Kid stops himself by grabbing ropes, and Groose tags in while Fin runs in. Skull Kid sidesteps and rolls Fin up, SCHOOLBOY KICK! The fans fire up as Groose storms up on Fin! The fans chant “GROOSE! GROOSE! GROOSE!” as he JABS! JABS! JABS! Groose winds up, but Fin avoids the right hand to then BLAST Skull Kid of the apron! Fin kicks Tingle for good measure, but Groose storms up again. Fin CHOPS Groose! Groose just scowls! Fin CHOPS again, but Groose just stares him down! Fin CHOPS again, Groose kicks low!

Groose SMACKS Fin off the buckles! Groose then climbs up and the fans cheer as he rains down fists! The fans count along, but Fin trips Groose up at seven! Fin shakes it off and goes to whip, but Groose blocks! Groose reels Fin in to FLAPJACK him off buckles! Fin staggers, Groose tags Tingle, and Tingle goes up! Groose ROCKET LAUNCHES Tingle at Fin! Direct hit and Tingle covers, TWO! The fans rally up as Tingle waits on Fin. Fin gets up, Tingle runs in, HIP- Atomic drop! Tingle clutches his tailbone, and Fin whips him to ropes. Tingle ducks ‘n’ dodges to HIP- Atomic drop again! Tingle again clutches his tailbone!

Fin clamps on a SLEEPER, but Tingle JAWBREAKERS free! Fin staggers, Tingle runs, and he HIP ATTACKS Fin down! The fans fire up as Tingle roars! Tingle then drags Fin up and fireman’s carries! But Tingle’s not that tall so Fin’s a lot for him to lift! Tingle squats down, but fans cheer as he rises back up! Then Tingle gorilla presses Fin!? Even Fin is shocked! But then Fin easily slips free because Tingle’s short. Fin dragon sleepers and ELBOW DROP DDT! Cover, TWO! Fin drags Tingle up and wrenches an arm. Fin brings Tingle over, tag to Mack. Mack climbs up to AX HANDLE Tingle’s arm! Mack wrenches Tingle then tags Rick.

Rick climbs up and he AX HANDLES Tingle’s arm. Rick wrenches Tingle, then whips him hard into the corner. Rick runs in but Tingle puts him on the apron! Rick tags Fin while Tingle hurries for his corner! Fin runs Tingle down and CLOBBERS him from behind! Fin taunts Groose again, then whips Tingle back to the Arrow Club corner. Fin runs up, KNEE DOUBLE ENZIGIRI COMBO! Tingle flops down, Fin covers, Groose breaks it up! The fans cheer, the ref reprimands, but Groose just fires hands on Fin! The Ducks run up and mug Groose! Skull Kid runs in to jump on Rick and the ref reprimands everyone!

Groose JABS Mack, Skull Kid JABS Rick! Groose JABS Mack again, Skull Kid JABS Rick again! The fans chant “GROOSE! SKULL! GROOSE! SKULL!” as the JABS keep going back and forth! Then Groose and Skull Kid JAB at the same time! JAB! JAB! JAB! Groose and Skull Kid both wind up the right hands, but both Ducks duck! The Ducks STEREO SUPERKICK, but Groose blocks while Skull Kid takes the hit! Groose swings Mack’s foot into Rick! Groose then winds up again, RIGHT HAND O’ THE GODDESS! The Ducks are down, but Fin runs up to SLINGBLADE Groose! The fans fire up as Fin roars, but Tingle SHOTGUNS Fin!

Fin falls into a corner, and the fans fire up with Tingle again! Tingle goes to the far corner, he takes aim, and runs in, but someone pulls Fin out of the corner!? Torbevito!? Where’d he come from?! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Tingle!! Fin high-fives Torbevito before going up top! Fin aims at Tingle in the drop zone, COUP DE GRACE!! Cover, Skull Kid breaks it!! The fans are thunderous while Arrow Club is shocked! Fin stomps Skull Kid out of the ring, and The Ducks have him on the outside! Mack has Skull Kid dangling off the apron and Rick takes aim! But Groose rises up behind Rick! Groose chicken wings Rick and turns him!

Mack freaks out but Rick fights the hooks! Rick POSTS Groose! But Skull Kid gets off the apron and he RAMS Mack into railing! Rick turns around, he PENALTY KICKS Skull Kid from the apron! In the ring, Fin beats down on Tingle with fists! The fans boo but Arrow Club soaks it up! Arrow Club regroups at their corner, and Fin tags Mack. Mack tags Rick then Mack drags Tingle up. Mack gut wrenches Tingle while Rick aims from the apron! Rick springboards in, MALLARD DRIVER!! Cover, GROOSE AND SKULL KID BREAK IT!! The fans say “This is Awesome!” but Fin and Torbevito are throwing a fit on the outside!

The Ducks stomp and kick Groose & Skull Kid! Rick tags Fin then TOSSES Groose out of the ring, but Skull Kid turns things around on Mack to TOSS him out! Rick runs up on Skull Kid, Skull Kid DUMPS Rick out! Skull Kid ducks ‘n’ dodges Fin to DIVE onto The Ducks! The fans fire up but Fin is pissed! Skull Kid gets up but Fin BLASTS him off the apron! Tingle rolls Fin up! TWO!! Fin escapes after getting caught off guard! Tingle runs up, Fin dodges! Fin comes back, DOUBLE LARIATS take both men down! The fans are thunderous again, they hope these teams “FIGHT FOREVER!” And then they fire up as Groose rises in the corner!

Groose reaches out to Tingle, Fin crawls for his corner. Hot tags to Groose and Mack! The fans are thunderous as The Skyfall Stud rallies on Mack with shoulder tackle after shoulder tackle! Rick jumps in but Groose dodges him to CLOBBER him on the return! Groose drags Rick up, whips, but Rick reverses! Rick and Mack set up, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! But Groose stays up!? Groose roars, so the Ducks DOUBLE SUPERKICK again! Groose wobbles, and Rick hurries back to the apron! Mack gut wrenches, Rick jumps, but Skull Kid is there to YANK Rick down! Skull Kid RAMS Rick into railing! Groose victory rolls Mack, TWO!! Groose goes for the arms!

Groose drags Mack up with a chicken wing, but Torbevito gets on the apron! The ref reprimands but Groose runs up! Torbevito gets down, Tingle CANNONBALLS Torbevito from the apron! The fans are thunderous again as Tingle, Skull Kid and Groose all give thumbs up! Groose goes back for Mack, but Fin has a chair! The ref stops Fin, and Mack LOW BLOWS Groose!! The fans boo, Skull Kid & Tingle get on the apron, but BAD CROC SCALY slips out from under the ring! Scaly drags Tingle down for a GRENADE!! Fans boo, Skull Kid jumps at Scaly and fires furious fists! Scaly shoves Skull Kid away, SUPERKICK from Rick!

Fin finally backs off with the chair, and Rick returns to the Arrow Club corner. Mack tags him in, and Rick goes to the apron. The fans boo as hard as they can, but The Ducks hit the MALLARD DRIVER!! The Ducks aren’t done, they drag Groose to the drop zone! Rick tags Fin, Fin climbs up, COUP DE GRACE!! Cover, Arrow Club wins!!

Winners: Arrow Club, by pinfall (still HPW World Trios Champions)

It took every member of Arrow Club to do it, but they took The Studly Guys down! Arrow Club stays golden on the night, but will there be even more gold in their future? As for Groose and the gang, if The Studly Don’t Quit, will they fight their way back towards redemption?

HPW Termina Championship Open Challenge: Ganon VS ???

The Gerudo Ace has held this belt since HyruleMania THREE, putting his reign at 595 days! And as such, he might be getting a bit bored. He threw out this Open Challenge to the entire world of wrestling, but who will answer the call? Everyone watches and waits, and… it’s ODOLWA! The God of Woodfall returns to HPW after falling short in the Triforce Tournament. But will he finally have his moment here tonight? Or will Ganon win his own gamble with the gold?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who Eventide suffers a calamity!

The bell rings, and from the sound of it, the fans are happy to have Odolwa back. But Odolwa doesn’t react, he just stares Ganon down, and Ganon stares Odolwa down. They slowly circle, feel things out, and tie up collar ‘n’ elbow. They’re in a deadlock, but Ganon’s height gives him leverage. Ganon pushes Odolwa towards ropes, but Odolwa turns things around. The ref counts, Odolwa lets off slowly, and cleanly. The fans applaud, and Ganon sarcastically claps. The two reset and circle again. They feel things out, tie up, and Ganon THROWS Odolwa aside! Ganon flexes and grins, but Odolwa’s right back up!

The fans cheer and Ganon turns around to see Odolwa glaring at him. Ganon frowns and the two storm up for another tie up. It’s another deadlock, and Odolwa headlocks. Odolwa grinds the hold, but Ganon throws body shots. Ganon is free, and he ROCKS Odolwa with a forearm! Or not, as Odolwa just snarls back at Ganon. Ganon says, “Knock it off!” and kicks Odolwa low! Ganon backs Odolwa down, whips him to ropes, but Odolwa KICKS Ganon back! The fans rally, Odolwa fires body shots from all sides! Odolwa backs Ganon down to ropes, fires more shots, but the ref reprimands and counts.

Odolwa whips now but Ganon reverses. Odolwa ducks ‘n’ dodges, RAMS Ganon, and Ganon staggers back to ropes. The fans fire up while Ganon is shocked. Odolwa eggs him on, and Ganon snarls. Ganon runs up, but Odolwa gets around him to waistlock. Ganon fights the lift, throws elbows, but Odolwa ducks one! URENAGE! SENTON! Cover, TWO! Ganon stays in this and the fans fire up. Odolwa stands, and he waits on Ganon to sit up. Ganon sits up, into a KICK! Ganon sputters, but he sits up again, so Odolwa KICKS him again! The fans fire up, Ganon sputters again, but Ganon again sits up. Odolwa KICKS, but Ganon blocks it!

Ganon stands and glares at Odolwa, but Odolwa SLAPS him! And SLAPS! Odolwa fires fast palm strikes from all sides! Ganon BOOTS Odolwa down! The fans are torn but Ganon roars! Odolwa goes to a corner and Ganon goes to the opposite. The fans rally, Ganon runs corner to corner, but slows to a stop as Odolwa bails out! Ganon goes to the apron, but Odolwa SWEEPS the legs! Fans fire up while Ganon lands hard on the apron then flops to the floor! The fans rally while Odolwa drags Ganon up. Odolwa whips, and Ganon hits railing hard! Ganon grits his teeth, stands back up, but Odolwa runs up to LARIAT Ganon up and over!

The fans fire up while Ganon flounders next to the front row! The ref reprimands but Odolwa storms out after Ganon! Odolwa CLUBS Ganon and they go deeper into the crowd! The fans fire up as Odolwa ROUNDHOUSES Ganon, and Ganon staggers onto the bare ground! Odolwa then reels Ganon in for a fireman’s carry! But Ganon slips free to ROCK Odolwa with a right! Ganon then reels Odolwa in to underhook, DEMISE DRIVER to the ground! The dirt’s still soft from the rain but that still had to hurt! Ganon gets up and leaves Odolwa behind! The fans rally and the ref checks on Odolwa. Odolwa is still in this, so a ring count begins.

Ganon wipes himself down with a towel before he steps into the ring at 3 of 10. Odolwa hobbles his way back from the back rows, and makes it back to railing at 6 of 10. Odolwa fumbles his way back up and over, then stumbles his way to the ring. Fans cheer as Odolwa rolls in at 9! But then Ganon runs up to stomp him down! The fans are torn as Ganon stomps away at the ropes, but the ref reprimands and counts. Ganon lets off at 4, then eggs Odolwa on. Odolwa snarls and drags himself up with the ropes. Odolwa storms up on Ganon but Ganon kicks him first! Ganon reels Odolwa in again, but Odolwa fights the underhooks!

Odolwa RAMS Ganon into a corner! And RAMS him again, and again! The ref counts, Odolwa lets off to CHOP! The fans “WOO~!” and Ganon grimaces, but Odolwa winds up to CHOP again! Ganon snarls now, and he turns things around on Odolwa! But Odolwa dodges to CHOP again! And again! And again! Odolwa roars, runs, but then Ganon dodges the splash! Ganon gets moving, comes back, but Odolwa BODY CHECKS him first!! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous! “This is Awesome!” as the ref checks both men. They both stir, so now a standing count starts. Odolwa and Ganon crawl to opposite ends, and drag themselves up at 5 of 10.

The fans rally up again as both men storm over to the other, meeting at the center. The two stare down, both getting madder and madder! Ganon ROCKS Odolwa with a forearm! Odolwa steadies himself, and ROCKS Ganon in return! Ganon steadies himself, then ROCKS Odolwa again! Odolwa ROCKS Ganon again! They go back and forth, faster and faster, and the fans fire up! Ganon gets the edge, then winds up, but Odolwa catches the forearm to wrench and reel Ganon in, fireman’s carry, GORON DROP! Cover, TWO! Ganon stays in this but Odolwa stays on him! Odolwa drags Ganon up, and goes to Hebra Lift!

Ganon kicks and flails, then CLUBS away on Odolwa’s back! Ganon returns to his feet, and he brings Odolwa up to GANON BOMB!! The classic returns and Ganon covers, TWO!! Odolwa survives and Ganon grows frustrated, but the fans fire up again! Ganon goes to a corner and he takes aim! Odolwa slowly rises, Ganon runs up, into a SUPERKICK! Ganon staggers all the way back into the corner, and the fans are thunderous as Odolwa roars! Odolwa runs corner to corner, HIP ATTACK! Ganon sputters and Odolwa drags him out, but he isn’t done yet! Odolwa goes up a corner while the fans are fired up!

Odolwa goes to the very top, stands up, and DIVING HEADBUTTS!! The fans fire up while both men writhe! Odolwa crawls to a cover, TWO!! Ganon survives, the fans are thunderous, and Odolwa is beside himself! Odolwa CLUBS away on Ganon while he’s still down! The fans rally and duel as hard as they can, and Odolwa roars! The fans fire up more while Odolwa brings Ganon up, only for Ganon to HEADBUTT him! Odolwa wobbles and Ganon staggers back, rebounds, and CALAMITY KICK!! Cover, Ganon wins!!

Winner: Ganon, by pinfall (still HPW Termina Champion)

The fans go wild for that sudden ending! Odolwa’s return gave Ganon more of a fight than he expected, but Ganon still comes out on top! Will the Gerudo Ace continue- Wait. That music. It can’t be. IT IS! OSPHALA is here!! After a full YEAR away, Osphala returns, and he stares Ganon down from the stage. No words needed, will Osphala take back the Termina Championship from perhaps the most imposing Termina Champion ever?

Undisputed HPW Triforce World Championship: Link VS Kage!

It was HyruleMania 4 that we saw the Hero of Hyrule and the Hero’s Shadow battle for this title, and that was after seeing them battle in one of the most violent matches in HPW’s young history. And yet, ever since his return, Kage has been oddly friendly towards Link. What is the reason for this change of heart? Will it prevent Kage from taking back the gold? Or is it all just an act to mess with Link’s mind?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if blood brothers shed blood again!

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Kage offers a handshake? Link is wary of that and the fans chant “NO! NO! NO!” Link hesitates, but he still reaches out. The brothers shake hands, and then Kage lies down? Kage tells Link to pin him, but Link and everyone watching is confused. Link stomps Kage and fans cheer! Kage is the one confused and upset now, he asks what Link is doing! Link says Kage should get up and fight, Kage asks what he’s talking about! They’re brothers, they don’t need to fight. Link is even more confused than he was before! Kage says fine, he’ll just give Link a win by count-out. Kage goes to get out of the ring but Link stops him.

Link says no, there’s no winning by count-out. Kage still doesn’t understand why Link isn’t letting Kage lose. Link should want to win! Link can barely talk, he’s so flabbergasted! Kage goes to step out but Link says no, and he drags Kage from the ropes. Is this even the same Kage? Where’s the Kage that made Link go through a Blood Match? Link tells Kage to fight him, then shoves him! Kage just smiles and shakes his head? Link tells Kage to come on already, and pushes him again. Kage just smiles, arms crossed. Link SLAPS Kage! The fans fire up while Link just glares at Kage. Kage’s no longer smiling, and he stares Link down.

Kage SLAPS Link in return, and Link spins through to CHOP! Link then ROCKS Kage with a forearm! And CHOPS again! Link whips but Kage reverses, only for Link to CHOP on the return! Kage falls, but then he kips right back up! Kage and Link stare down again while the fans fire up. The two rush in and just fire haymakers fast and furious! The fans fire up while they go around and around! Link fires forearms and has Kage against ropes! Tiger Sahasrahla counts, Link still fires shots, and Sahasrahla has to get in there to back him up! The fans boo and Link argues with Sahasrahla, but Kage slips around to roll Link up! With tights! TWO!!

The fans fire up as Link narrowly escapes that! Link is mad at Kage, tells Sahasrahla about the pulling on the tights, but Kage plays innocent. Link storms up on Kage but Kage DUMPS him out! Kage builds speed while Link staggers to his feet! Kage FOSBURY FLOPS! Down goes Link and the fans boo! Kage plays up being confused why, but then KICKS Link in the side! Kage stomps away on Link, and it seems the facade is slipping away. Sahasrahla says to get this back in the ring, and he starts the count. Kage drags Link up at 3 of 10, shoves him into the ring, then covers, TWO! Kage stomps away on Link again!

The fans boo but Kage stops to cool off. He’s surely playing it up again, as he tries to look apologetic towards his brother. Kage says he’ll help Link up, and he does, and he pats Link on the back. To then put in the full nelson! SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Link flounders while fans boo, but Kage waits on Link to get up. Kage full nelsons again, but Link breaks free! So Kage waistlocks to GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Link flounders to ropes while fans rally up. Kage draws his sword and he takes aim! Kage builds speed, runs in, but Link ducks the Master Sword to roll Kage up! TWO, and Link’s up to HOOK SHOT Kage!

Kage wobbles, Link reels him in, but Kage fights the suplex to cradle! TWO, and Kage CHOPS! And ROLLING ELBOWS! Kage turns Link, to then DREAM SMASHER ELBOW! Link drops to his knees, but Kage brings him up, to Electric Chair Lift! But Link flails and he sunset flips around! TWO, both brothers stand up and they both ROCK each other with a forearm! They both steady themselves, to DOUBLE LARIAT! Neither man falls, but Link is the one that staggers back! Kage roars and SUPERKICKS! Link falls, Kage covers, ROPEBREAK!! Link survives by a miscalculation from Kage and the fans are thunderous!

Kage drags Link onto the ropes to CHOKE! Sahasrahla counts, Kage lets off at 4, and then he ROCKS Link with a cheap shot! Sahasrahla reprimands and the fans boo, but Kage definitely no longer cares about his brother’s well-being. Kage storms back up, but now Link DUMPS him! The fans fire up as Link builds speed, but then has to stop as Kage hurries around the way. Link just goes to the corner, goes up and out, and ASAI MOONSAULTS onto Kage! Down both brothers go at the ramp side, and the fans fire up again! Link hurries to get up and put Kage back in the ring. Kage hurries up to BLAST Link off the apron!

Link again staggers up to his feet, and Kage goes to the apron. Kage jumps up, ASAI MOONSAULT, but Link slides into the ring! Kage lands and rolls back, right as Link slides back out! LARIAT!! Kage gets flipped upside-down and the fans go wild! Link roars and the fans fire up more! Link hurries to drag Kage up and into the ring, then puts him in a drop zone. Link hurries up a corner, and FIRE ARROW FLOP as Kage moves! Link flounders and sputters, Kage runs up to BLINDSIDE MASTER SWORD!! Kage roars, drags Link up in the Electric Chair Lift, and DARK CLOUD DRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Everyone is stunned, especially Kage!

The fans rally as hard as they can for Link while Kage scowls. Kage tells Link that now Kage has to hurt him. Kage drags Link into a corner and makes him face the buckles. Kage then storms his way to the far corner, takes aim, and runs corner to corner, BLINDSIDE KNEE!! Fans lose their minds while Link sputters and Kage seethes. Sahasrahla reprimands but Kage drags Link back out of the corner. Kage goes to Electric Chair Lift, but Link is deadweight! Kage tells Sahasrahla to check Link. The fans boo Kage but Sahasrahla does check. Link is dazed, sputtering, but he does reach out. Sahasrahla keeps asking Link if he’s good, but Kage says this is good enough!

Kage drags Link up into the Electric Chair Lift! Link leans back, POISON- NO! Kage stops the Poison-Rana and shakes his head. Kage swings Link forward, but Link uses that to victory roll! TWO!!! Kage escapes, gets up, but Link fireman’s carries! BOMBOS MEDALLION! Cover, ONE?!!? Kage is furious as he stands back up while the fans are going nuts! Kage swings, Link ducks, but then Kage ducks the Hook Shot! Kage CHOPS, runs, but Link follows to LARIAT Kage and himself up and out of the ring! The fans are thunderous again while Link staggers to his feet. Link hurries to bring Kage up and put him back in.

Link again has Kage in a drop zone and he goes up top! ICE ARROW! But Link doesn’t cover, he somersaults right back to the corner to go up again! Link steadies himself, to FIRE ARROW! Cover, TWO, but Link grabs the wrists! LIGHT ARROW!! Cover, TWO!??! Kage survives and shocks Link in return! The fans declare “This is Awesome!” while Link thinks on what he must do. Link drags Kage to center, but Kage’s now deadweight himself. Link hesitates, but then he gets angry, and he slaps himself! Link then facelocks Kage, rolls forward, ETHER- NO, Kage rolls around before Link can finish the bridge!

Both men scramble up, MASTER SWORD from Kage! Link staggers back, Kage slips around, REAR NAKED CHOKE!! The fans go nuts as Kage drops back, but Link scrambles around! Link reaches out for the ropes, but Kage traps that arm! The fans rally as hard as they have all night as Link keeps fighting! But Link is fading! Kage squeezes tighter still, and Sahasrahla checks on Link! Link gets a second wind, and with one big lunge, he has the ROPEBREAK!! Kage lets go in frustration while the fans are thunderous again! Kage waits on Link to get up at the ropes, and then he Electric Chair Lifts again!

But Link holds onto ropes! The fans rally, Sahasrahla reprimands Link, but Kage pulls Link from the ropes, only for Link to POISON-RANA!! Link roars, the fans are thunderous, and Link runs the ropes! Kage ducks the Shining Wizard, but the BOOMERANG hits from behind! Link hurries to bring Kage up in a clinch! BLADE- NO, Kage slips out to full nelson! SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX!! Kage roars, but Link’s right up!?! Link grabs Kage’s arms, motorcycle stretch, into BLINDSIDE LIGHT ARROW!! Kage falls forward, the fans are absolutely losing their minds, and Link roars again! Link sits Kage up, glares down at him, then underhooks the arms!

Link lifts Kage up onto the shoulder rack, the SPINNING NECKBREAKER!!! Just like HyruleMania!! Cover, LINK WINS!!

Eventide Island is again erupting! It took “The Tears of the Kingdom,” but The Hero of Hyrule is now 3-1 against his Shadow, and this was the brightest spot yet! Will this finally settle things between them?

My Thoughts:

Really coming in under the wire on this one. The G1 Climax was a big part of the schedule but I could’ve also been more efficient with my time. But I also wanted to make this as big as I could for the change-up of the Eventide Challenge being a ladder match, not a cinematic running around on the island race. That change might stay, depends on how I feel in another year. I also wasn’t sure who was challenging Ganon, who else would show up, things like that. I’ll do my best to do better with planning and executing in this next month’s stretch with Dark Horse Stampede returning on 9/19.
