After the Triple Threat Tag…
The House of Torture of course cheated to win, but they wouldn’t leave it at that! They waited until the United Empire and TMDK argued with each other to then attack them all! Yujiro Takahashi CLUBS Oiwa down while Narita shoves Cobb into big Hartley Jackson! And then Narita JAMS Cobb with the pushup bar! The fans boo but Narita JAMS Oiwa up, too! The Souled Out Son of Strong Style is so proud of himself as he holds up his NJPW World TV Championship, but wait. Christmas music starts playing? The fans clap along as surprise! Santa and his reindeer are here! Well, one reindeer. But shouldn’t the House of Torture be on the naughty list?
Santa Claus walks over, and he gets the mic. He sounds familiar as he tells, “Narita-san… You have a Christmas present waiting. Would you like it now?” Narita asks what the heck is going on. Santa steps into the ring and offers Narita the little tiny bag. Narita snatches the bag, then he and Yujiro look at it. The fans asks, “Nani nani? <What is it?>” Narita tells them to shut up. Narita gets the bag open and pulls out… Blue sunglasses! With LED lights! The fans cheer as the lights go down! “E! L! P!” EL PHANTASMO IS HERE! The Headbanga has been battling cancer, but he’s here in Korakuen Hall!
Narita is furious but ELP slides right into the ring! Narita & Yujiro run away, but the fans cheer ELP on as he stands side-by-side with Jado Claus. ELP gets the mic now, and the fans cheer him on. ELP takes a moment before saying, in Japanese, “Cancer. Cancer… I’ve beaten cancer! And I love Korakuen!” But ELP asks Jado-san how to say a certain something in Japanese. He whispers it, but then Narita & Yujiro attack! The fans boo these cowards, but then Narita says Merry Christmas! But ELP BOOTS him, ELBOWS Yujiro, then dodges Narita to SUDDEN DEATH! Jado Claus DECKS the Tokyo Pimp!
ELP again asks Jado, and Jado says on behalf of ELP, that ELP is going to wrestle tomorrow night! And… Then he’ll be at the Tokyo Dome! ELP grabs the NJPW World TV Championship! ELP looks it over, and looks to the crowd, and then to Jado, but then Jeff Cobb and Ryohei Oiwa get in the ring. Cobb asks if ELP’s good. ELP is good. Are they good? Then let’s turn it up a notch! FATAL 4 WAY for the TV Championship! Narita snatches his belt, gets out of the ring, and tells everyone to shut up! The odds just got stacked against the House of Torture, will the New Year have a NEW NJPW World TV Champion one way or another?

Ahead of battling for THE IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, The Roughneck and The Front Man bring some back up! The Ace is also preparing to fight Evil, will he and Shota bring a Once in a Century Paradigm Shift? Or will ZSJ and the Japanese Young Punk prove The Mighty Don’t Kneel?
The teams sort out and Shota starts against ZSJ. The fans cheer this WrestleKingdom preview, and Korakuen duels between “SHOTA! SHOTA!” and “ZAKU! Shota avoids the Penalty Kick and arm-drags ZSJ, but ZSJ headscissors! Shota kips free, avoids a leg pick, and the fans cheer!
Shota dares ZSJ to go for the leg but the two reset again. They feel things out, knuckle lock, and each man breaks free of one. They back off, and Shota tags in Tanahashi. Shota can’t believe The Ace fell, but this is why ZSJ is the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion! Will ZSJ do this all to Shota when they’re 1v1 in the Tokyo Dome? Or will Shota prove he’s mightier than The Mighty?
KOPW Championship Three Stages of Hell: Great-O-Khan VS Taichi!
The Dominator has, well, dominated as KOPW Champion for a long stretch of 2024, but the Holy Emperor did close out 2023 with this title. Granted, Taichi says that win, lose or draw, this is his final KOPW Championship match. As such, tonight’s stipulation is a sort of “Best Of” compilation as we go Best 2 Out of 3. Part one: a no ropes Sumo Rules match! Part two: Yoshinobu Kanemaru as special guest referee? Well, he would be a neutral party… And part three, if needed, will be a LAST MAN STANDING MATCH! Will Taichi “retire” from this truly freestyle division standing tall? Or will Khan truly conquer KOPW for the United Empire?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, but Taichi also brings back the trophy for the occasion, and it’s time to end the year in style!
Sumo Rules!
Both men finish preparations with weight belts and some stretching. They square up, the ref says go and they RAM into each other! The fans rally as both men go for those weight belts to use as leverage. They go around, get very close to the ring edge, but then Khan moves things away. Khan THROWS Taichi, but Taichi stays on the ring so the sumo match continues. They reset and go again! Taichi pushes Khan back with both hands, but Khan digs in his heels! They clinch, go around, and Taichi goes for the edge! Khan pulls on Taichi’s leg to get around, but Taichi uses that to steer Khan to another edge! But Khan hits a fireman’s carry takeover!
Khan drags Taichi up but Taichi fights off the throw! They clinch and fight for control again. They each try to lift with the belt! Khan has Taichi near the edge, but then Taichi has Khan near the edge! Khan is teetering and the fans fire up! Taichi THROWS Khan to the floor, Taichi wins the fall!
Khan: 0; Taichi: 1
Special Guest Referee!
The fans are thunderous as Taichi takes the Sumo Rules fall, but now we go to a much more complicated situation. The ropes have to be put back up, sure, but now the Heel Master of all people is going to be the referee! The time it takes to set up the ropes is a reprieve for both sides, especially Khan as he has to catch his breath and refocus. Once the ropes are up, both men wait in the ring. All that is left is the buckle pads, and of course, Kanemaru himself. Kanemaru gets a proper introduction and entrance before he goes to the ring, and wow, he’s even wearing an official NJPW referee shirt with the lion mark on it.
Referee Kanemaru does his check and he even tells Taka Michinoku to watch himself. Kanemaru does a far less thorough check of Khan than Taichi! Did the Empire pay Kanemaru off?! Kanemaru has Taichi cool off, then whispers something to Khan! The bell rings, the fans rally for Khan, and Khan circles with Taichi. They tie up, Taichi powers Khan to ropes, and Kanemaru calls for a ropebreak. Then he has a fast count! Taichi lets off before 4 and argues with Kanemaru! Kanemaru says that’s his count, deal with it. Khan and Taichi reset, tie up, and Khan puts Taichi on ropes. Kanemaru pays more attention to Taka than Taichi!
The fans can’t help but laugh as Kanemaru finally does count, and now it’s really slow! Taichi protests, but Khan pulls Taichi’s arms. Then he CHOPS Taichi and stops at “3!” Khan then goes after Taichi, wrenches and wristlocks, and Kanemaru is asking if Taichi gives up!? Taichi tells him to shut up, but Khan kicks and CLUBS Taichi. Khan whips, Taichi BOOTS Khan down, then covers! Kanemaru strolls over to count! And it’s so slow! “TWO” and the fans cheer. Taichi is upset, but Khan rolls Taichi up! SO FAST!! TWO!! Taichi is getting pissed but Kanemaru backs away. Taichi stomps Khan, and Kanemaru’s untying a buckle pad?!
Taichi stomps Khan around, Khan leaves the pad there loosely, and Taichi whips. Khan reverses, and SURPRISE! bare buckles! Taka protests but Kanemaru SMACKS him with the pad! Khan plays dumb, and then he stands on Taichi’s lower back. Taichi has the ropes, but Kanemaru kicks the arm away! Khan has Taichi’s other arm, Taichi keeps grabbing for ropes but Kanemaru keeps kicking the hand away! Khan drags Taichi up, brings him around, and ROCKS him in the back! Taichi goes to a corner, Khan Mongolian Chops him on the back! And Mongolian Chops again! And Mongolian Chops again! Kanemaru doesn’t bother counting at all!
Taka protests, Kanemaru warns him, but then Khan hops up to sit on his throne! The fans cheer while Taichi endures, and only now does Kanemaru count! Khan asks hold on, hold on, so Kanemaru stops counting! Khan hops down, and then he puts Kanemaru up on the throne! Khan gets the fans to join in on the “Ohh…! HMPH!” Kanemaru isn’t into it so he hops down. Khan apologizes to Kanemaru, then he kicks Taichi around. Taichi gets up to fire hands! Khan kicks low, whips, but Taichi reverses to wrench and HOOK KICK! The fans fire up while both men are down. Taichi stands, and he drags Khan up into SEITEI JUJIHOU!
Kanemaru might be stuck, he can’t ignore Khan tapping. But then Kanemaru drags Khan over to the ropes! Taichi is frustrated with Kanemaru but Kanemaru says that’s a ropebreak. Taichi storms up on Kanemaru, but then Khan waistlocks! Ripcord and SAYANAGI! Both men are down again and the fans rally up! Taichi goes to a corner, Khan runs in, but Taichi dodges! GAMANGIRI! The fans fire up and Taichi snarls. Taichi TAKES OFF THE PANTS! The pants were a bit stubborn, but still. But then Kanemaru “checks” Khan just to stay between him and Taichi! Taichi says move or else! Kanemaru says he’s the ref!
Kanemaru kicks Taichi, CLAWS Taichi’s eyes, then traps his arms! Khan gets up to IRON RIGHT!! Kanemaru “scolds” Khan, then “checks” Taichi. Khan rests in a corner and Kanemaru drags Taichi up for him. Taichi CHOKES Kanemaru! Kanemaru kicks low! Kanemaru whips Taichi into a corner, ELBOWS him, then Khan LARIATS! Khan snapmares and covers, Kanemaru wants more first! Khan sits Taichi up for a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Now cover, TWO!! Taichi survives so Kanemaru hurries to get his whiskey! Khan takes a swig, and Kanemaru sets Taichi up! WHISKEY MISTÂ into Kanemaru! Taichi hits the GEDO CLUTCH, but Kanemaru really can’t count now!
Taichi lets off of Khan since there was no count to be had. Taichi drags Kanemaru up, but Khan WHISKEY BOTTLE SHOTS Taichi! IRON CLAW!! Kanemaru calls for the bell? He just hands the win to Khan without counting, so now we’re all tied up!
Khan: 1; Taichi: 1
Kanemaru has fulfilled the contract, Khan gives him the envelope of money. Khan even makes sure we all see how many thousands that is! Kanemaru heads out, is he going to party hard for the holidays? But that aside, it is time for the final fall!
Last Man Standing!
Taichi gets the mic first, and tells Khan that if that’s how Khan wants to do it, then Taichi will get down and dirty with Khan! No lumberjacks, no special guests, just the straight up ten count, and it can happen anywhere in Korakuen Hall! Khan says bet! The announcement is made for the official rule change, and now we have the final fall! Khan rushes Taichi on the outside, then whips him into railing! And we’re already going into the crowd! Khan throws Taicihi at English commentary, but big Hartley is a solid wall for Chris. Khan then drags Taichi up into the bleachers, and the fans clear out of the way!
Khan CHOKES Taichi with a chair, then lets off to clear chairs out of the way. The Young Lions try to help but Khan gets mad at them and pushes them aside. Khan drags Taichi up, knees him low, and then reels him in! But Taichi fights the sayanagi! Taichi SHOVES Khan, Khan falls to the floor but gets up, only for Taichi to CROSSBODY! Down goes Khan and Red Shoes hurries over. Both men are down but Taichi sits up. The count starts and Khan is still down at 5 of 10! Khan hurries to get up, and Taichi stomps him down! Taichi drags Khan back up into the bleachers, but we go the other way.
Taicih KICKS Khan down, Young Lions keep the fans back again, and Taichi drags Khan along. They keep moving through the crowd, and Taichi shoves Khan into chairs! Khan sputters but Taichi drags him up again. Taichi KNEES Khan, then drags him up. They go back down to floor level, and then Taichi aims at chairs! Taichi whips but Khan reverses and he BOWLS Taichi into chairs! Not quite a strike but he got a good number of those chairs! Khan pops the railing loose from the special corner piece, and he brings that corner piece over! Khan SMACKS Taichi with the steel! Taichi staggers away but he sits in a chair.
Khan starts folding chairs to stack them on the floor. Khan then uses one chair as a leash to drag Taichi over! Khan CLUBS Taichi, adds that one chair to the pile, and then snap suplexes Taichi onto the chairs! Taichi writhes but Khan rises up. Khan roars and the fans fire up! The count begins again but Taichi slowly sits up at 4. Taichi rises up, and he stands at 8! Khan brings Taichi around in a headlock, and they go to the orange bleachers! Khan uses the gate to smother Taichi, then they go up to the higher level! The fans fire up but then fans have to move! Khan KNEES and CLUBS Taichi, then whips Taichi at the exit door!
Taichi tumbles into the hallway! Khan drags Taichi back into the arena and uses the HITSUJIGOROSHIÂ against the chairs! Taichi endures as Khan chokes him, then Khan lets him go! Red Shoes checks on Taichi, Taka coaches him, but the count begins. Khan sits in a chair to relax while he waits. Taichi sits up at 7, and stands at 9! Khan storms up on Taichi to CLUB him on the back! Khan headlocks Taichi, brings him to the other section, and he gets up close to the fans for photo ops. Khan then whips, but Taichi reverses, and Khan is sent into the wall! Taichi leaves Khan behind while the count begins again.
Khan sits up so Taichi KICKS him back down! Taichi drags Khan up, KICKS him again, and Khan falls to his knees. Taichi drags Khan up by his ponytail, and he goes close to the stairs that lead to the back! Khan fights the suplex, and for his life, but then he turns things around! Taichi fights the suplex, throws hands, and then DDTS Khan to the floor! Red Shoes checks both men, then starts the count. Taichi shakes out his arms and sits up at 4. Taichi stands at 6 but Khan is still down at 8! Khan drags himself up at 9! Taichi CLUBS Khan down, then brings him back up. Taichi brings Khan back to ground level, then snapmares him hard for a KICK!
Khan is in agony but Taichi drags him back up. But Khan RAMS Taichi into the railing! Taichi sputters while also sitting in a chair. Khan staggers away to ringside, and he goes looking under the ring. Khan brings out a trolly cart? Khan JAMS Taichi up using his own mic stand, then leaves him behind. Khan brings out a TABLE! Fans rally up as Khan puts the table on the trolly, then he staggers over to Taichi. Khan CLUBS Taichi down, then SHOVES him onto the table trolly combo. Khan has fans clear out, and then he SNOW PLOWS the chairs with Taichi on the cart!! The fans fire up as Khan stands over Taichi.
Khan drags Taichi up, and he brings the table along, too. Khan kicks chairs out of the way as he returns to the upper deck! Khan SMACKS Taichi off the edge, then he clears out space. Khan sets the table up, then he goes up to fetch Taichi. Khan JAMS Taichi up with a chair, then SMACKS him! Taichi writhes, fans rally, and Khan drags Taichi up. Khan vows to end this! IRON CLAW, and ELIMI- NO! Taichi fights Khan off! Taichi stumbles away through the crowd, but then grabs himself a chair. Taichi runs up to JAM Khan right in the face! Taichi then steals Khan’s idea to choke grip and CHOKE SLAM down through the table!!!
Khan writhes and the fans go nuts! Taichi hobbles around while Red Shoes counts Khan. Khan is still down at 5! Still down at 7! 9! KHAN GRABS RED SHOES’S HAND!! Khan survives, and though he has a couple bloody cuts on his back, he crawls his way to the ring. Taichi eggs Khan on and the fans are thunderous! Khan drags himself into the ring, Taichi runs, AX BOMBER!! The fans fire up and the count returns! Khan is still down at 5, stirs at 6, sits up at 7, and he rises at 8! So Taichi just runs up to AX BOMBER!! Khan drops to his knees, flops over, but he’s already pushing himself back up! Taichi runs again, AX BOMBER!!
Khan staggers around but he stays on his feet! Taichi says fine, AX- SAYANAGI!! Khan turns things around, and he AX BOMBERS in return!! Both men are down and the fans rally as hard as they can! The count is on both men, and Khan crawls for ropes at 5! Taichi slowly sits up at 6, and both men go to corners at 7! Red Shoes waits on them to rise up, and then Taichi fires up! Taichi runs up, DOUBLE LARIATS collide! Neither man falls, so Taichi BOOTS! Khan BOOTS back! Taichi URAKENS! Khan MONGOLIAN CHOPS! Taichi SOBATS! Khan BODY BLOWS! Both men drop to knees, but they also grab at each other.

Winner: Great-O-Khan, by pinfall (DEFINITIVE 2024 KOPW Champion)
Khan flips Taichi off, one last insult added on top. Khan is given the belt back, but Taichi grabs his trophy. Taichi steps up to Khan, and gives him the trophy, saying it is rightfully his now. Taichi shows Khan that respect, and Khan returns it with a handshake. Khan “retires” Taichi from KOPW, what will the Holy Emperor look to do in 2025?
As for Khan, he grabs the mic, and he asks Taichi to wait a moment. “You served this title for three years. We will honor your glory!” The fans applaud that, and Khan asks the previous champion to come closer. No, closer. The fans cheer Taichi on as he steps closer to ringside. Khan says Taichi served this title well, so here is his reward. Khan is giving the trophy back? Taichi says no, he gave that to Khan out of respect. Khan says to Taichi and to everyone to listen well. “We are the last KOPW Champion!” Everyone is a bit surprised to hear that.
Khan says, “As an alternative, on January 4th in the Tokyo Dome… as THE last KOPW Champion, We demand that the January 4th match determine the next IWGP World Heavyweight Championship challenger!” The fans are really intrigued by that idea! Khan throws down the belt, and Chris makes sure English speakers understand what Khan is suggesting. The New Japan Ranbo determining a #1 contender? Khan says that these are the words of the final KOPW Champion, The Great-O-Khan! “HAIL US, PEASANTS!” A New Year, a new era? Will Khan’s revolution bring glory to the United Empire?
My Thoughts:
A very good night for Road to Tokyo Dome, though I did skip a lot just because I didn’t have a lot of time today. But luckily I was skimming through, or I would’ve missed ELP’s great return. Congratulations on him beating cancer, and I like that they’re adding him to the NJPW World Television Championship match. It makes sense given ELP’s beef with the House of Torture, and honestly, why not just have ELP win? Not even so much for getting over cancer (though kind of that, too) but because fans love ELP and it’d help him solidify his singles run with Hikuleo long gone for WWE.
Really good stuff in the other tune-up matches, such as #DespeWado winning and the chaotic end to the Fatal 4 Way. Eagles won to help him and Fujita have momentum, but there is still more to the Road to Tokyo Dome first. Honestly that tag Fatal 4 could really go any which way they want so I’m not sure how the go-home math would even work. And Gedo of course took the loss against LIJ. Yota Tsuji is aiming for David Finlay and the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship, but who knows how things go before we get to WrestleKingdom.
Very good tag match from Shota & Tanahashi VS ZSJ & Fujita, and it was technically a surprise for Tanahashi to take the loss. This works on many levels, as Tanahashi should be figuratively on the ropes going into his match with Evil, and this gives Fujita equal momentum alongside Eagles. And then great main event, Khan and Taichi really went the distance with this one. And it all makes sense after Khan reveals this is the end of the KOPW Division. Khan wants to make the New Japan Ranbo to basically be the Royal Rumble and that is pretty cool. I think they could keep the belt to represent that contender’s status the same as the G1 Climax having a briefcase, because that KOPW belt actually looks pretty nice.
My Score: 8.8/10

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer, by pinfall (still NXT Women’s North American Champion)
Karmen brought the fight, but it wasn’t enough to stop Vaquer! Wait! Here comes Giulia! THE NXT Women’s Champion makes her way out, mic already in hand. Fans lose their minds already seeing the top two women in NXT in the same ring again. Giulia says, “Congrats, Stephanie! You said you are the best champion. But… You’re not. I am.” Stephanie has the mic to say that “La Primera means champion of champions.” Well, okay. Then let’s find out who the best woman is. The fans like where this is going! Vaquer says they are friends, but… Title for title, champion VS champion! The fans erupt! Will the Beautiful Madness and Dark Angel look to stand and deliver?
Arianna Grace and Santino Marella talk.
Miss NXT and the TNA Director of Authority are outside, looking at the Cincinnati scenery, and Arianna says tonight, for the first-time-ever, the TNA X-Division Championship will be defended in a WWE ring! All thanks to them! Santino says with Arianna’s help, the TNA World Tag Team Champions, “The Hard Boys,” compete in NXT for the first time! Lola Vice walks over and says she’s looking for a fight. She doesn’t care who it is, NXT or TNA. Arianna understands, but they aren’t taking any walk-in meetings right now. As the official NXTNA Liaison, Arianna has a lot to discuss with Santino.
So they’re talking about her? Uh, they will take Lola into consideration. Lola says she’s a better pageant queen than a liar. But how about this? Miss NXT steps into the ring with Miss MMA. Unless… no one in Arianna’s family ever taught her how to fight. Santino keeps The Cobra at bay, and says, “Take it easy.” What was that? Uh… He said it is breezy out here. Arianna says she has never been so insulted. Good. See her in the ring. Meeting over. Lola heads out, will she make Cincy into Vice City? Or will Lola learn to lose with Grace?
Lexis King walks the halls.
The Drama King carries his Heritage Cup, but he crosses paths with Oba Femi. The King says hey to The Ruler, and he knows there’s the big dream match of Oba VS Moose. But they’re in Cincy! King has homefield advantage! And tonight, he’ll whoop on Moose here, so that the only match anyone will be talking about is The Ruler VS The King! Lexis heads out, and Oba chuckles. Will The King look more like a joker? Or will this be the upset of the century?
That group posted on social medial…
Posing outside of the Andrew J. Brady Center, Dion Lennox and his crew issue a warning: “You don’t know when we’re going to show up, or what we are going to do, but one thing is for sure… No one is safe.” Who will these four hunt down and destroy here tonight?
TNA X-Division Championship: Moose VS Lexis King!
The System has led the charge in this newest NXTNA crossover, but the tables have been turned as Cincy’s King dared Moose to put his gold on the line. Will Lexis soon reign over two kingdoms? Or will he learn to #TrustTheSystem?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who puts the X-Division in NXT!
The bell rings and the fans are torn. Moose dares Lexis to bring it, and the two tie up. Moose powers Lexis to a corner, lets off slowly, but Lexis avoids the haymaker! Moose then looms over Lexis, stands him up, and the fans rally. Moose whips Lexis hard into the steel steps!
Lexis writhes again while Moose storms up on him. Moose drags Lexis up, reels him in, and he points to the apron. The fans fire up as Moose lifts Lexis, but Lexis fires hands! Moose drags Lexis up, reels him in, and hoists Lexis up again. Lexis slips free to kick a leg out! And then Lexis KICKS! KICKS! And KICKS!
Moose stands, Lexis fires more KICKS, then he runs. Moose BACKDROPS Lexis onto the ramp! Lexis is both lucky and unlucky that the ramp is flush with the ring. The fans are losing their minds all the same from that impact. Moose grins, the fans duel, and we get a great look at the belt. Lexis crawls into the ring, but Moose is right there waiting. Winner: Moose, by pinfall (still TNA X-Division Champion)
Moose has conquered The King! But before Moose can celebrate that, here comes The Ruler! Oba Femi storms right up, has the music stop, and he says he sees Moose made it past Lexis. Congrats. But now, to what really matters:Â this. This is what everyone wants! This is what the NXT Universe wants, right? So this is the match to make! Ava Raine already made it official! In two weeks, NXT Roadblock, Madison Square Garden, The Face of the Franchise VS The Ruler of NXT! Titan VS Titan, a collision like no one has ever seen!! Oba is ready, Moose is ready, the fans are ready, but will MSG be ready for this massive Roadblock?
Shawn Spears speaks.
“NXT, The Land of the Talented, the future, but the misguided. And my goal here is to guide high-quality, high-performing individuals, shun them from any kind of negativity, and find their inner light.” Brooks Jensen: a former tag team champion, left out in the cold. But after a complete transformation of mind, body and soul, he is exactly who he was searching for all along. Niko Vance: A prototype of physical characteristics, but a beacon of rage whose metamorphosis comes from within. His ferocity is not a curse but a gift. A gift he will now use on the NXT roster.
But one piece was still missing. Izzi Dame: The embodiment of cunning beauty. Every move, every decision, calculated. Every word she speaks, premeditated. Some would call that manipulation, but Spears calls it strategy. Izzi knew that if you control the narrative, victory is not only likely, it is guaranteed. And now Spears’ “family” is complete. Tony D’Angelo never really saw this coming, did he? Now there’s a new family in charge of NXT, and the only thing left to do is take the North American Championship. The Chair Man wants his gold, will The Don be able to stop him?
Arianna Grace posts a video.
Miss NXT was with Kelani Jordan, and they were discussing Cincy. It isn’t so bad out right now. But Arianna has to ask: What is going on with Kelani and Jaida? Kelani grumbles and says that name makes her blood boil. Jaida always wants to blame everyone else for her problems. Jaida is in the background asking if they’re talking about her. Kelani says no, they aren’t. Kelani says Jaida is so rude. Jaida keeps jawing, Kelani erupts, and the rest of the roster has to step in the way! When, where and how will The Standout and Miss Parker finally put this to rest?
Jordynne Grace is here!
Cincinnati fires up for The Juggernaut, and she gets herself a mic as she enters the ring. “From the moment that I stepped foot into a WWE ring last year, I knew exactly where I belonged. I walked in as an outsider, carrying the weight of an entire company on my back. But after spending some time in the NXT Women’s locker room, feeling the hunger, I knew I had to be a part of it.” The fans cheer that! So when the time finally came to put pen ot paper, Grace didn’t hesitate. Grace had one thought and one singular goal: To become a champion in what she truly believes is THE best women’s division in the world.
The fans cheer “NXT! NXT!” and Grace says the last time she was here, it was in between two women who are like nothing we’ve ever seen before. But she’ll tell us what she knows: She knows that Giulia and Vaquer felt the shift. They felt the foundation beginning to crack when Grace arrived. And Grace heard what Giulia and Vaquer said earlier. Whether they like it or not, it is only a matter of time before Grace stands in this ring not next to them, but across from them. The fans like the sound of that! A juggernaut is unstoppable, so it is about time Grace- Wait, Roxanne Perez interrupts.
Roxie tells Grace she wants to be the first to say, “Welcome back.” Roxie knew Grace would be back eventually, and it only makes sense after where Grace came from. Any woman who wants to be a star knows NXT is the place to be. Whether it is from another promotion, another sport, or Raw and SmackDown, everyone wants to be part of the division Roxie made famous. And we’re talking about putting brands on backs? Yeah, that’s what Roxie did the last 12 months! And Grace, it is one thing to be on top of the TNA Knockouts Division as a big fish in a small pond. But this is still Roxie’s division, so Grace is in her world now!
Grace doesn’t get to just show up and call the shots! Certainly not for Roxie’s title! Uh, hold on one second. If this is Roxie’s division… Where is her title? Oh, the title Grace couldn’t beat Roxie for back at Battleground? Roxie can play that game, too. But Grace just got here, so don’t make Roxie send her packing back to TNA. There is a gap between them. It has been there since last year, and is still there now. That’s why Roxie is going to Elimination Chamber this Saturday! And then Roxie will go on to WrestleMania to become THE Women’s World Champion!
And if Roxie feels like it, she might just become a historic THREE-TIME NXT Women’s Champion, so everyone can call her #RoxieTwoBelts. Fans do like the sound of that, but Grace says hold on, hold on . Roxie, there is a famous saying. “Everyone has a plan until…” Grace ROCKS Roxie in the face! Grace fireman’s carries, Roxie scurries off and out of the ring! Will The Juggernaut bulldoze right over Roxie on her way to the top?
Trick Williams sulks backstage.
He reads comments online about how he got punked by Eddy Thorpe, how he’s on a losing streak. Trick is tired of all of it. Je’Von Evans comes along and says Trick shouldn’t worry about that. In fact, they’re kinda going through the same thing. Trick stands up and asks, “What’d you just say?” They’re not the same. Je’Von is fighting over his “smile,” Trick is fighting for the NXT Championship. Okay, okay. Je’Von is just saying, the Ethan thing- Trick says Je’Von and Ethan can keep smiling, Trick’s gonna handle Eddy, so just stay in your lane. Je’Von says Trick’s gonna crash out. Damn right Trick’s about to crash out!
Je’Von says he was gonna show Ethan tonight, but maybe he’ll show Trick, too, then. But before things get any more heated, Ricky Saints steps in. Ricky offers a handshake, Trick goes for a fist bump instead. Trick says he’s heard all about Ricky. Trick heads out, Ricky says he gets being angry, but is everyone just angry all the time around here? Je’Von isn’t sure what to say. But with All Ego & Cardiac Kid waiting for them, will The Young OG & The Absolute revolutionize NXT in tonight’s main event?
Backstage interview with Jaida Parker.
Sarah Schreiber wants to talk with Miss Parker about how she and Kelani got into it a bit just earlier today, but Jaida says respectfully, Kelani done messed up. Kelani had the right idea, but the wrong one, point blank, period. Kelani has it twisted, acting like everyone else up in here. Kelani lost her mind after losing the Women’s North American title. And now she has a lack of confidence? That is not Jaida’s problem. But when it comes to Jaida’s opportunities, she don’t play. That match with Vaquer that Karmen fumbled should have been Jaida’s. But it all started because Kelani got butthurt after Jaida brushed her off like the gnat she is.
But when it comes down to it, Kelani will feel even worse when Jaida is done with her. Jaida tells Kelani that there may be a H1M in WWE, but in NXT, you ain’t Her. And Kelani finds out why everyone knows Jaida Parker don’t play! #ClockIt! Jaida has put Kelani on notice, when and where will they have it out?
Someone is watching from the rafters…
They recorded Vaquer VS Karmen, and they seemed very amused. Dion Lennox and his shadow opps are in the building, when will they strike?
The Hardy Boyz VS Myles Borne & Tavion Heights!
Matt & Jeff Hardy have made history time and again, and tonight is no different as they have their NXT in-ring debut! Will the TNA World Tag Team Champions render No Quarter Catch Crew OBSOLETE? Or will Myles & Heights go the distance with Team Extreme?
The fans chant “WELCOME BACK!” for Matt & Jeff, and the teams sort out. The Charismatic Enigma starts against Tavion and the fans are all fired up. Jeff and Tavion circle, feel things out, and tie up. Tavion powers Jeff back, has him on ropes, but the ref counts. Tavion SHOVES Jeff down, soaks up the heat, then takes a bow. Jeff gives him the double super finger! Jeff then bobs ‘n’ weaves, fires hands, then wrenches to CLUB Tavion’s arm. The fans chant “You Still Got It!” as he tags in Matt. Matt goes up, Jeff CLUBS Tavion’s arm, and Matt AX HANDLES! Tavion staggers, Matt wrenches and ELBOW BREAKERS!
Matt shouts “DELETE!” with every ELBOW BREAKER he gives! The fans chant along, “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Matt then brings Tavion back, tag to Jeff, and they double whip Tavion for DOUBLE ELBOWS, then the FIST DROP SENTON COMBO! Cover, ONE!! Tavion shows that toughness, but Jeff CLUBS him. Jeff snapmares Tavion, basement DROPKICKS him, then covers, TWO! Jeff keeps cool and brings Tavion up. But Tavion RAMS Jeff into the corner! Tag to Myles, Myles wrenches for an ELBOW BREAKER, then he YANKS the arm! Myles wrenches, ELBOW BREAKERS, then grinds Jeff down.
The fans taunt Myles, “You’re Not Randy!” Myles frowns, wrenches Jeff, then tags Tavion. Feed to Tavion for a waistlock, but Jeff bucks the O’Conner Roll and tags in Matt! Tavion runs up, Jeff dodges, Matt HOTSHOTS! Tavion staggers, Matt slides in, but Tavion fireman’s carries! Tag to Myles, but Matt slips free! Matt sends Tavion at Myles, Myles sends him back, Tavion LARIATS Matt down! Myles & Heights get Matt up, whip him to a corner, then they steal- NO, Matt dodges Myles in Motion and tags Jeff! Jeff runs to LARIAT Myles up and out! The Hardy Boyz head to the outside, the fans fire up, and Jeff goes all the way up the ramp. Jeff high-fives fans, runs back in, and POETRY IN MOTION sends Myles back into the ring! Cincy is going bonkers and Jeff hits a TWIST- NO, Myles spins through to SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! Jeff survives, Dempsey & Wren coach Myles, but NXT goes picture in picture.
Myles tags Tavion, Tavion storms up on Jeff, and Tavion drags Jeff up to whip into a corner. Jeff staggers forward, into a LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Jeff stays in this but Tavion stays on him with a chinlock. Tavion grinds Jeff down, but Jeff fights up as the fans rally. Jeff JAWBREAKERS! Tavion grabs a foot, drags him back, but Jeff fights up to SPIN KICK! Hot tag to Matt! Matt rallies on Tavion, then dribbles him off buckles! “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Myles storms in, Matt DECKS him! Then Matt bumps him off buckles, “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Wait, Fraxiom is walking out here to watch from the stage?
Matt hits a SIDE EFFECT on Tavion! Cover, TWO! Matt stays focused, and he says, “DELETE! DELETE!” He notices Fraxiom, but he still kicks Tavion., Tavion shoves Matt away, and hits a SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! Matt survives, Tavion is frustrated, but Dempsey coaches him again. Tavion CLUBS Matt down, drags him around, and rains down some HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! Cover, TWO! Tavion keeps Matt from Jeff, whips him, then LARIATS against the ropes! Matt slumps down, Tavion eggs him on, and then Tavion whips to LARIAT again! Tavion mocks the “DELETE!” then tags in Myles.
Myles is right on Matt with an UPPERCUT! And another UPPERCUT! And then a HAYMAKER! Myles snapmares Matt, KNEES him in the back, then clamps on a chinlock. Matt endures, the fans rally, and NXT returns to single picture. Matt fights up, Frazer & Axiom like what they see, but Tavion tags in. NQCC mugs Matt, then they snapmare for Tavion to chinlock. The fans boo but Tavion tells them to shut up. The fans rally for “HARDY! HARDY!” and Matt fights around. Tavion puts on more pressure, but Matt still stands. Myles tags in, Matt snapmares free, but Myles clamps on with a chinlock! Matt JAWBREAKERS free!
Matt crawls, but Tavion is after Jeff! Jeff CROSSBODIES Tavion down! Jeff hurries back, Matt hot tags him in! Jeff rallies on Miles, hits an atomic drop, then trips Myles for the LEG SPLITTING LEG DROP! The fans cheer and Jeff adds the basement DROPKICK! ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Myles stays in this and Tavion returns! Jeff ROCKS Tavion, but Myles kicks Jeff! NQCC double whip Jeff to a corner, but Jeff ELBOWS Tavion! Jeff ROCKS Myles, then goes up! WHISPER IN THE WIND! The fans cheer that! Matt thanks Axiom, and he LOVES NXT! Matt has watched Fraxiom defend their titles even in TNA, and no lie, Fraxiom is killing it. The run they are on is damn impressive. You see, in New York City, at Roadblock, it’s going to be Fraxiom VS The Hard Boyz! And it’s going to be the TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!!” WHOA! A big move in this NXTNA crossover! Who will be THE best tag team today?
The D’Angelo Family talks at the restaurant.
No one has heard from The Don, they’re all worried. They don’t know what happened. Stacks was in control, then boom, Spears got the drop on him. But then Tony walks in! They all stand at attention, he lets them sit. Tony takes his seat at the head of the table and Stacks tells Tony he’s sorry for last week. Stacks was just trying to- Tony stops Stacks there. You can’t win ’em all, right? Tony appreciates what Stacks did last week. But Tony had to lay low, get things right. Now, he was beaming with pride watch Stacks direct the family in his absence. Spears is a smart guy, a tough guy, and that is something Tony will handle next week.
Stacks says he appreciates that, but should Tony really be doing that in the condition he is in? Can’t he wait? Luca says this is The Don, he can- Tony stops Luca now, and says Stacks is The Underboss, so he gets a say. Tony knows Stacks is just taking care of The Family, as he should. But Stacks, Tony also appreciates what he’s saying. But Tony has to handle this. Rizzo says Tony’s got this. Will the D’Angelo Family be able to thwart everything The Chair Man is trying to do?
Sol Ruca and Zaria spend more time together.
The Sol Surfer wraps up Zaria’s hand, and The Agent of Change says no more handstands! Humans were not meant to walk on their hands! Sol says it is just a sprain, but that training did help them beat Lash & Jakara. Zaria says Sol is neither right nor wrong. Wait, Piper Niven walks in? The “Secret Her-vice” says the coast is clear. The Green Eagle has landed, Chelsea is in the building. Move, move, move! The Women’s US Champion struts in, singing about “massage time~!” But wait, ew, why’re Sol & Zaria still here? Piper, tell them the thrift store is that way, as is the door. Piper goes to repeat the message, but Sol says they heard.
But uh, two back-to-back tag wins makes Sol & Zaria better than Chelsea & Piper. When was the last time they won? Oh, did Sol just smarm them? Yes, but don’t worry. Piper has her STUNGUN! Chelsea tells Piper to tell Sol & Zaria that they’re just Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco: Destined for failure and never stood a chance in the ring against them. Then let’s try that next week? Piper says, “Slow your roll, bad bangs. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.” Chelsea says no, agree to the match! Sign the executive order! Then okay, laters. Sol & Zaria head out, and Chelsea double checks. What’d they just agree to? They have a tag match next week.
Well that was stupid! Why’d Piper say yes to that?! Piper always catches Chelsea’s flack, but will she have to take a bullet for the #RedWhite&Green in the ring?

Buenas noches, Arianna. Will Lola use this win to get back on track towards the titles?
Something’s going down backstage!
NQCC just got wiped out! And guess who is behind it all! Dion and his boys slip away into the night, no one is safe! But is this all for tonight? Or are they just waiting until we let down our guard?
Eddy Thorpe speaks.
“Here we are in Cincinnati. And right down the road from Great American Ballpark, near the Ohio River, there was once a time where my people stood proudly on this land. Until they were forcibly removed by a higher authority, pushed out west to be displaced and ignored. That reminds me of something. Like how at Vengeance Day, I did exactly what I said I was gonna do, and I beat NXT’s golden child in Trick Williams. And yet, the powers that be still want to deny me another opportunity to become champion. And I tried doing things the right way, and got labeled the bad guy. Then I beat Trick fair ‘n’ square with my strap, still the bad guy.
“Trick, you say you’re gonna drag me under? Pal, I been down here, fighting every day for the same opportunities that you get. So if I gotta do this again, I want you just as bad as you want me. You name the time and the place. Hoka hey.” The Alpha Wolf is ready to be the big bad wolf, but will he be able to blow Trick down? Or will Trick be made of bricks?
Ringside interview with Ava Raine.
Sarah is with the NXT General Manager, and says it has been an eventful night in Cincy. Let’s keep that going, as Ava has an announcement. Ava says she has a few, actually. We are on the Road to Stand & Deliver, but that first means we will be live in NYC for Roadblock! As we heard earlier, it will be Oba VS Moose for THE NXT Championship! And as Santino said, it will be Fraxiom VS The Hardy Boyz for the TNA World Tag Team Championships. The fans like the sound of that! But biggest of all, Ava finished talking with Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia. They have agreed to compete 1v1 for the first time in WWE history.
BUT, it won’t just be a normal match. As they wanted, it is Champion VS Champion, Title VS Title, WINNER TAKES ALL! One woman will walk out of The Theater in MSG with both titles! The fans really like that! A historic night is in store, but who will reign supreme in the NXT Women’s Division?
Ricky Saints & Je’Von Evans VS Ethan Page & Wes Lee w/ Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont!
The newest signing to NXT is an absolute game changer, and that doesn’t sit well with those who were here before him. All Ego says Ricky is just copying the formula, The Cardiac Kid says the new guy needs to learn his place. Will they be the gatekeepers to NXT? Or will the revolution still be televised as Ricky teams with The Young OG?
NXT returns as Je’Von makes his entrance. And the fans get excited already as the lights go down. “Welcome to the revolution!” Ricky makes his entrance, with the tron, the song, and the lights! The teams sort out and Je’Von goes right after Ethan! Ethan avoids the haymaker, then takes a swing! Je’Von dodges and he fires haymakers! Ethan kicks low, but Je’Von dodges the haymaker to headlock and takeover! Ethan kips free of that, scrambles away, tag to Wes! The fans boo but Je’Von still wants after Ethan! Je’Von chases Ethan but Tyriek & Tyson get in his way. The fans boo, but Wes WRECKS Je’Von with a dropkick!
Ty, Ty & Ethan all talk trash, then Wes puts Je’Von in. Wes headlocks, Je’Von powers up and out, then leaps up and over. Je’Von goes to the side, springboard and OG CUT- NO! Wes stops the cutter, shoves Je’Von, but Je’Von springboards and flies into the schoolboy roll-up! TWO, and Je’Von blocks a kick! Je’Von FLIPS Wes, Wes lands out, but “ya boi BOUNCY~!” Springboard RANA, and a DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Wes stays in this but Je’Von headlocks. Wes powers up and fights around, but Je’Von reaches out. Tag to Ricky Saints! Ricky & Je’Von double whip, then ELBOW Wes down! And arm-drag! Arm-drag!
Ricky bubs ‘n’ weaves, then hoists Wes up fora BIG atomic drop! Ricky mocks Wes, keeps him from Ethan, but Wes SLAPS him! The fans boo and Ricky snarls. Ricky ROCKS Wes, ROCKS him again and again, then fires off in a corner! The fans fire up, Ricky bumps Wes off buckles, then tags Je’Von back in. They double whip Wes to ropes, then DOUBLE HIP TOSS! Ethan runs up, but into a DROPKICK HART ATTACK! Je’Von & Ricky stand tall, then they see Wes coming! They TOSS Wes out onto Ethan! Ty & Ty check on their guys but Cincy cheers Je’Von & Ricky while NXT goes picture in picture.
Je’Von goes out to CHOP Ethan, then ROCK Wes! Je’Von brings Wes around to put in the ring. But Ethan keeps Je’Von at the apron! Je’Von BOOTS Ethan into the desk! Je’Von storms up on Wes, UPPERCUTS him, then UPPERCUTS again! Wes is on the ropes, Je’Von wrenches and snapmares to then clamp on a chinbar and armlock. Wes endures, Je’Von puts on the pressure, but Wes reaches up to headscissors Je’Von into a victory roll! TWO! Wes ROCKS Je’Von and has him in a corner. Wes fires forearms, then brings Je’Von around to RAM into the corner. Wes RAMS into Je’Von, RAMS him again, then tags Ethan.
Ethan brings Je’Von to the open corner, but Je’Von blocks the buckle bump to fire haymakers! Je’Von backs Ethan down, whips him corner to corner, but Ethan reverse. Je’Von hits buckles hard, falls to the mat, and Ethan covers, TWO! Ethan snarls, drags Je’Von up, and then scoops, only for Je’Von to slip free! Je’Von shoves Ethan into buckles, then CHOPS him down! Tag to Ricky! Je’Von drags Ethan up, he and Ricky DOUBLE SUPLEX! Ricky keeps Ethan from Wes to drop the KNEE! Ricky drags Ethan up to CHOP him back to the corner. Ricky storms up, ROCKS Ethan, then digs his boots in.
The ref counts, Ricky steps off, and bumps Ethan off buckles again. NXT returns to single picture as Ricky CHOPS Ethan down again. Ricky keeps Ethan from Wes again, tags Je’Von in, and Je’Von goes up. AX HANDLE on the arm! Je’Von brings Ethan up, whips him to a corner, but Ethan reverses. Je’Von rolls to a stop, BOOTS Ethan away, then goes up the corner. The fans fire up, but Ethan trips Je’Von up! Ethan climbs, the fans boo more, but Ethan goes to suplex. Je’Von fights the lift, fires body shots, and HEADBUTTS Ethan! Tyson distracts so that Tyriek can trip Je’Von up! The fans boo again but Ethan goes up!
Ethan scoops Je’Von, TOP ROPE BACKBREAKER! Je’Von falls to apron then the floor, and Cincy loses their minds over that one! Ethan snarls, Ricky checks on Je’Von, but Ethan fetches Je’Von. Ethan RAMS Je’Von into the apron, puts him in the ring, and storms up to push Je’Von down. Ethan has the legs, turns Je’Von over, BOSTON CRAB! Je’Von reaches out, but Wes tags in, and he slingshot SENTONS Je’Von down! The fans boo while Wes taunts Je’Von. Wes wraps up Je’Von’s arm, CLUBS him down, then shifts to the legs. Wes ties the legs up, fires body shots, then ELBOW DROPS! Cover, TWO!
Je’Von stays in this but Wes stays between him and Ricky. Ricky and Wes stare down, but Wes drags Je’Von up. Wes kicks Je’Von, the fans rally up, but Wes wrenches Je’Von. Tag to Ethan, and Wes whips Je’Von to a corner. Ethan whips Wes so Wes can whip Ethan, BIG back body block! Ethan then holds Je’Von in place and Wes runs up, DOUBLE KNEES! Winners: Ricky Saints & Je’Von Evans, by pinfall
A big signing, a big in-ring debut, and a big first win in NXT, all for Ricky Saints! Is this proof that from here on out, NXT is Absolute?
My Thoughts:
A great NXT here, especially being on the road in Cincy to follow up Raw from last night. Great opening match from Vaquer VS Petrovic, but of course Vaquer was winning that. Giulia coming out to give us Giulia VS Vaquer for both titles was great stuff, but very surprising it’s happening for Roadblock. At the same time, Jordynne Grace called them both out and Grace facing either of them for both titles will be great stuff. Though there seems to be something set up between her and Roxie real quick, maybe that happens at Roadblock as a way to determine who challenges the dual champion at Stand & Deliver.
Very good promo from Trick with Je’Von and Ricky, and I almost feel like Trick having his rematch with Eddy is going to turn Trick Heel. Eddy also had a good promo, and I feel like he and Trick should have a Last Man Standing or I Quit match in order to escalate from the Strap Match. Awesome main event tag from Ricky & Je’Von VS Ethan & Wes. Je’Von being so focused on Ethan was great stuff, and I like that they took themselves out of the match by brawling into the crowd. Ricky of course got the win for his first NXT match, and I’m sure we’ll get a Ricky VS Wes 1v1 match to follow this up.
Great promo with Chelsea & Piper showing up, but I’m a little surprised they’re getting into something with Sol & Zaria. The tag match will be a lot of fun, and I suppose this is to build towards the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Very good promo from Shawn Spears to detail his “family,” and a good promo from the D’Angelo Family. I have a feeling Spears wins the North American Championship next week, but maybe not with Stand & Deliver still needing big matches. Well, I suppose Tony could go for the rematch at Stand & Deliver. And maybe, just maybe, the D’Angelo Family falls apart to give way to Spears’ group.
And a lot of awesome NXTNA crossover tonight. Arianna and Santino having a promo with Lola was good, and it’s funny how Arianna and Santino are still tongue-in-cheek about being daughter and father. Good match with Lola but of course Lola was winning. And Arianna having a part to play in Kelani and Jaida was good. Kelani VS Jaida will also be good, but hard to say who wins. I think it really depends on the plans of the women’s titles. Moose and Lexis King was a great title match, and that was probably Lexis’s best match yet. But Moose of course won, he wasn’t going to drop the X-Division title in NXT.
Oba had a very good promo with Moose, and of course we getting Oba VS Moose. Putting the NXT Championship on the line is good stuff but I think that gives away Oba winning. Or at least, something has to happen where Champion’s Advantage comes into play and Oba retains. Hardy Boyz VS Fraxiom for the TNA World Tag titles is probably the flipside, with Matt & Jeff retaining. Great match from The Hardy Boyz VS Myles & Heights, but I feel like the Hardys are nearing the end of the road. They still do great on the mic but there are subtle signs in the match that they’re starting to lose a step. It’s mostly Jeff doing Whisper in the Wind, he probably needs to retire that move…
NQCC being the new victims of Dion’s still unnamed faction was rather interesting. These guys seem to be after the tag division way more than anything else. Maybe at Roadblock, these four actually make their identities known so we can get to the faction name and some feuds. I’m thinking their favorite phrase of “No One Is Safe” turns into “NOIS,” as in “noise.” They’re “making noise” over how NXT treated Dion, or something like that.
My Score: 9/10

Logan Paul is here!
Cincinnati boos The Maverick as he makes his way out to the ring. Logan gets a mic to tell Cincy, “Logan Paul is in the house! I appreciate y’all, I respect that. As you know, I, too, am from Ohio. Enough with the boos, I’m just like y’all. Except way better.” Logan has to be honest, he has a story. He was coming in on his bird, they were descending, and he sees dreary grey Cincinnati. Logan said he wanted to do a U-Turn and go home. But then he realized, he is too good. He will go to Cincinnati, perform for the peasants, because he is just that humble. The fans chant, “YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!” Logan says they don’t respect talent, they waste it! Just look at Joe Burrow!
But last time he was on Raw, he defeated Rey Mysterio, a Hall of Famer! He punched his ticket to the Elimination Chamber, where he defeats three doorknobs and John Cena! At which point, Logan will then headline WrestleMania against Cody Rhodes and become the Face of WWE! But wait, here comes CM Punk! The fans fire up for The Best in the World, and Punk goes right to the ring. Logan mocks Punk reveling in the cheers, but Punk grabs himself a mic while the fans chant his name. Logan asks, “Why? I don’t understand. What’s y’all’s problem with me?” The fans boo Logan, but Logan asks what Punk’s problem with him is!
Is Punk jealous of Logan? Logan sees the subtweets and such. He thinks Punk is jealous, and here’s why. Logan succeeds at everything he does outside the ring. Punk and his career are a series of Punk just failing upwards! Congratulations! Is that why Punk doesn’t like Logan? The fans boo more, then they chant Punk’s name. Punk says hold on, save that. He does not have a problem with Logan. he doesn’t know Logan well enough personally. This is business, this is Elimination Chamber. But what Punk’s seen of Logan… Honestly, dime a dozen: Loud mouthed kid that says and does stupid, ignorant things, just for a reaction.
And Logan thinks that makes him a generational talent? No character, no substance, and guess what? The fans deserve better. The fans cheer that! Logan says oh, look at Punk all high ‘n’ mighty. What is he talking about? Business? Well, it’s bad business. How about Punk? When Punk came back, it was one of the biggest, greatest returns in WWE history! We all saw it! And what happened? Punk cracked under pressure. he tore his triceps! He couldn’t handle the spotlight! That is why Logan is here? Because here’s the reality: Punk is familiar, he is all the fans know! It’s Stone Cold, it’s John Cena, it’s CM Punk.
The inevitable fact is, that name changes. And now that Logan is full time, it is only a matter of time before they’re chanting his name! The fans boo more and Logan scowls and sticks his tongue out at them. The fans continue to chant for Punk, and Punk asks if they should give it as long as it takes for that. No? There’s a lot Logan said is wrong, but there’s one thing he got right: The names do change. The names Logan mentioned, Punk included, are legends. They are history-makers! Time and time again, under the pressure that Logan said Punk cracked under, Punk made history. Logan’s never made history, he’s barely a flash in the pan, and he won’t be here long enough for people to even remember!
Elimination Chamber, ,Saturday, Toronto, Punk will eliminate Logan as a receipt for the Royal Rumble. Then Punk goes on to WrestleMania, face Cody Rhodes, and leave Las Vegas with the world title. Punk will make history. And Logan will be history. No one will think about Logan! That sign, Vegas is all for Punk. And Punk doesn’t care if Cody thinks he has to sell his soul to beat Punk, because Cody already knows what Logan finds out first hand: Punk is the Devil! And in this business, Logan is nobody. These two stare down, the fans fire up, and Logan gets squirrely. Punk dares Logan to do something, but Logan says chill.
Then Logan SLAPS Punk! Logan runs off out of the ring and laughs, “Oopsie~!” Logan says he doesn’t know what came over him. Punk says run while you can, and while your legs still work. Saturday, it isn’t just a ring. Logan’s gonna be locked in a cage with CM Punk! And when Punk gets his hands on Logan, Logan understands why the fans chant his name. Logan get ImPAULsive with the Second City Saint, but will he be the one punked out by CM Punk?
Triple Threat: PENTA VS Pete Dunne VS Ludwig Kaiser!
The Man with Zero Fear must now face two opponents at once! Penta has had problems with The Bruiserweight and the Impeccable German, and they’ve each had problems with each other. There can only be one winner, so who will #FigureItOut?
Raw returns and Dunne makes his entrance. That means last but not least, Penta makes his entrance. The bell rings, Dunne tells Kaiser to watch himself, so Kaiser backs up. Dunne and Penta circle, Kaiser creeps up, Dunne ENZIGIRIS him first! Penta kicks Dunne, headlocks, but Dunne powers up and out. Penta ducks ‘n’ dodges, then RANAS! Dunne flounders out of the ring, Kaiser rolls Penta! TWO, and Penta CHOPS Kaiser! And KICKS him, whips him, but Kaiser reverses. Penta goes up and over, BACKSTABBER! Penta LARIATS Kaiser up and out, then he goes up the corner! Penta SUPER CROSSBODIES both Kaiser & Dunne down! Cincy fires up with Penta while Raw goes to break.

The fans fire up with Penta again and he runs at a corner, headstand and SWINGING DROPKICK! Penta goes to the other corner, but Dunne BOOTS him! Dunne goes up, but Penta GAMANGIRIS! But Dunne bends fingers! The ref reprimands but that’s all he can do as Dunne SNAPS Kaiser’s fingers! Kaiser drops to his knees, Penta uses him as a step, DESTROYER on Dunne! SUPERKICK for Kaiser! Penta wraps Dunne’s arm up, has the other, “CERO! MIEDO!” SACRIFICE!!!
Dunne writhes, Penta drags him up! Pump handle and- NO, Kaiser TOSSES Penta out! Kaiser has Dunne for the SIDEWINDER!! Cover, KAISER WINS!
Winner: Ludwig Kaiser, by pinfall
Kaiser scrambles out of the ring, but he grins as he takes that win away from Penta! But will this really be the end between Kaiser and Penta? Or will they go one more round down the line?
Ringside interview with Rhea Ripley.
Jackie Redmond welcomes out the Women’s World Champion, the fans fire up, and Jackie says we are all waiting to see who wins the Women’s Elimination Chamber this Saturday, to then challenge Rhea for her title. The thing is, we don’t technically know who they’ll be challenging, because next week, Rhea defends the title against Iyo Sky. The question is: How is Rhea managing to prepare for this title defense with another one looming? Rhea says she’ll have an eye on Elimination Chamber, but her full focus is on Iyo Sky. Iyo was right, Rhea has never beaten her. If Rhea wants to walk into WrestleMania still the champion, she has to do the one thing she’s never done.
But the thing is, it has been nearly five years since Rhea and Iyo have fought each other. In those five years, Rhea has become the most dominant woman in the WWE! The fans cheer that! And in those same five years, Rhea has beaten everyone who has stepped to her: Becky Lynch; Charlotte Flair; Liv Morgan! Name them, she has beat them. After next week, Rhea will add Iyo to that list. But speaking of, Iyo steps in! The fans cheer and Iyo tells Rhea in Japanese and then English, Iyo has beaten her before, and she’ll beat her again. Iyo will be going to Mania as Women’s World Champion! The two have one last stare down, but who wins in their showdown?

Judgment Day is in the clubhouse.
While Carlito struggles to hit the bull’s eye in darts, Dominik talks with Finn. Finn says he is sick of this! Last week was the most embarrassing day in the history of the Judgment Day, all because of Dom! Carlito asks if they’re still on this. Finn says Dom needs to hear this! Dom talked a big game, but what happened? Dom lost to AJ Styles and got speared by Bron Breakker. Yeah, but Dom is the one who got Finn his qualifier. And what’d Finn do with it? He lost! Carlito tries to keep the peace, Dom says he’s just trying to help everyone out. Dom still feels Judgment Day needs a new member.
Finn still says no to that idea! No more new members! If anyone fixes things, it’ll be Finn! Really? Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez walk in, and they can’t believe they’re still fighting. Just stop! This is a huge week for Liv, and therefore a huge week for the entire group. Liv is not only in the Elimination Chamber, she and Raquel have their tag title match in tonight’s main event. She knows things didn’t go their way last week, but things will look up. Liv & Raquel will bring gold back to Judgment Day, because no matter who has gold, so long as someone does, that’s all that matters. Right, Finn?
Finn says yeah, it is. But aren’t they worried about Bianca & Naomi? Especially after that stunt they pulled with Jade Cargill? They’re bringing too much trouble to their own doorstep. Liv says as much as they don’t care about what really happened with Jade, Liv & Raquel weren’t involved. But they’ll still focused on Bianca & Naomi. The boys should be more focused on helping Dom against Bron tonight. Fine, they’ll handle their business, so long as Liv handles hers. Finn heads out, as does Carlito. Dom gives Liv a kiss on the forehead, then follows. Will things (not) go Judgment Day’s way tonight?
Gunther is headed to gorilla.
Der Ring General isn’t scheduled to compete, yet he’s dressed for it. What could the World Heavyweight Champion be up to?
Raw returns and…
Gunther is already in the ring, belt around his waist, shirt off, and mic in hand. Gunther knows the fans can’t contain their excitement with the greatest wrestler alive, GUNTHER, in action tonight! But before that, he wants to talk WrestleMania. Initially, when Jey uso won the Royal Rumble, and he chose Gunther for WrestleMania, Gunther was angry! That was initially. But as time has gone by, he’s warming up to the idea. Because he has the chance to embarrass that clown on the Grandest Stage of Them All, and end the YEET Circus once and for all!
So today, in WrestleMania spirit, Gunther offered Adam Pearce the World Heavyweight Champion in action tonight. Pearce couldn’t say no to that. So Gunther will now introduce his handpicked opponent for this chance of a lifetime! Ladies and gentlemen, Gunther gives us… Akira Tozawa! The music hits, and yes, The Stamina Monster is very wary as he makes his way out. Maxxine Dupri & Otis tell him he can do this. Is that true? Or is Gunther going to crush him as an example to the entire WWE roster?
GUNTHER VS Akira Tozawa w/ The Alpha Academy!
Before the bell, Gunther wants to explain why he chose Akira. As he entered, he noticed they were doing those dumb TikTok dances. That bothered Gunther. Gunther knows he and Akira they have something in common. Not a lot, but some. For example, they both uprooted their lives to make a career here in the WWE. They both got into the shape of their lives to prove they belonged. But Akira is wasted by being a goof that dances around for the enjoyment of the degenerate fans! And just like Jey Uso, Akira is making the wrong choice. Jey chose Gunther, and that will cost him his career. Akira’s career… Well, what’d Pat McAfee say last week? On any given night, anything can happen.
So then maybe Akira can do what Jey never will. Akira has the chance to earn Gunther’s respect. So c’mon, Akira, earn that respect. Gunther pushes Akira around, eggs him on, then the bell rings. Akira BOOTS Gunther! The fans fire up as Akira fires off furious fists! Akira runs, BOOTS Gunther, then fires more fists! Akira runs, but Gunther BOOTS Akira down! The fans boo but Gunther RIPS Akira’s shirt off! And he throws it at Otis! Gunther looms over Akira, but Akira CHOPS! Gunther CHOPS Akira down! Maxxine fears for Akira as Gunther hauls him up! But Akira slips out to get a GUILLOTINE! Gunther throws Akira away, then SHOTGUNS him down!
The fans boo but Gunther hauls Akira up! GENERLA- SUNSET FLIP! TWO! Gunther escapes, but Akira hurries up the corner! The fans fire up as Akira reaches the top! MISSILE- NO, Gunther catches the legs, and has a BOSTON CRAB! Akira endures, even as Gunther sits deep! Otis coaches Akira, Akira crawls around, and Akira reaches out! ROPEBREAK!! Gunther lets go of Akira, Otis & Maxxine cheer him on. Gunther kicks Akira around, just toying with him. The fans rally but Gunther pie faces Akira. Akira CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! Gunther CHOPS Akira down again! Then hauls him up again! GENERAL BOMB!! Cover, Gunther lets off?!?
Gunther soaks up the heat as he wants to hurt Akira! SLEEPER!! Akira is hanging off the mat, Gunther’s so much bigger! Akira is OUT, Gunther wins!
Winner: Gunther, by submission
The fans boo, but Gunther isn’t done! He drags Akira back into the SLEEPER! Otis gets in and SHOVES Gunther! Gunther SLAPS Otis! Otis rips his shirt off! Gunther runs from Otis! Otis checks on Akira, but Der Ring General sneaks back in! SLEEPER!! Otis is fading out, but HERE COMES JEY! The fans are thunderous as Jey runs in! Gunther runs from Jey now! The fans are all singing along with Day One Ish, but Gunther warns Jey that he’ll end up just like Akira! Jey says why wait?! Gunther leaves, but will Jey make sure Gunther’s the real clown in Las Vegas?
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria VS Dakota Kai!
The Morrigan was being told by Ivy Nile that Ivy Nile was coming for this title, but when the Diamond Pitbull ran into #CobraKai, the diamond cracked! And now Dakota gets a second chance at this title, against the woman she lost to in the tournament finals! Will Dakota make up for that loss here tonight? Or will there be no change of fortunes on the Road to WrestleMania?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and it’s time to run it back!
The bell rings, the two tie up, and the fans rally. Lyra wrenches, headlocks, and hits the takeover. Lyra has the arm, then ripcord STMOPS Dakota down! Lyra wants legs, but Dakota kicks Lyra away! Lyra and Dakota go to corners, then Lyra runs corner to corner. Dakota goes up and over to roll Lyra! TWO, and Dakota runs up again! Lyra stops the flying-snapmare to THROW Dakota away! Lyra aims at the floor, and speaking of the first time around… No, Dakota fights those suplexes, throws body shots, then trips Lyra!
Lyra hits apron edge, goes to the floor, and Dakota CANNONBALLS! Down goes Lyra, the fans fire up, and Raw goes to break.
Raw returns and Dakota brawls with Lyra up top! They go back and forth, the fans rally, and Dakota ROCKS Lyra into a Tree of Woe! Dakota stands, but Lyra kicks from below! Lyra kicks and kicks and kicks, then UP KICKS with both boots! Lyra sits up to return up top, and she brings Dakota in. Lyra hits the stalling SUPERPLEX! Both women flounder, that was a rough landing even for Lyra! The fans lose their minds, but then Lyra and Dakota rise up. They fire forearms back and forth again, then Lyra SOBATS, KNEES, but Dakota ducks the heel kick to SCORPION KICK! Fireman’s carry, but Lyra sunset flips! TWO! Dakota sits on it, TWO!
Lyra has it again, TWO! Dakota has it again, TWO! Lyra bridges up, but Dakota stuffs that! TWO, and Lyra bridges up to spin and hook the arms! Dakota goes up, brings Lyra to the top rope, but Lyra fires body shots! Lyra slips under, fireman’s carries, and NIGHTWING DRIVER!! Cover, Lyra wins!!
Winner: Lyra Valkyria, by pinfall (still WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion)
The Morrigan is 2-0 against Dakota, but she shows Dakota respect. They hug it out, and Dakota heads out. When and where will Dakota finally get her singles- OH NO, Ivy Nile THROWS Dakota off the stage! Ivy rushes the ring to YANK Lyra off the corner! And then GERMAN SUPLEX! And then a TACKLE! Ivy rains down fists, then drags her up! Scoop and SWINGING POWERSLAM! The fans boo as Ivy then picks up the title. Will nothing stop Ivy from getting this belt?
Sit-down interview with Sami Zayn.
Jackie thanks him for taking this time. To get to it, we know the long history between Sami and Kevin Owens. But Kevin certainly shocked everyone when he crossed a serious line by bringing Sami’s family into this. Sami said off camera that another thing happened, but would he be willing to share that information? Sami says he actually went over to Kevin’s house. No one was home. But Sami and Kevin’s mom ended up crossing paths, they talked. It was good to see she was doing well. Sami gets home that night, and he was ashamed of himself. He couldn’t look himself in the mirror, because he couldn’t recognize the man he was willing to become.
Sami isn’t even sure what he was going to do to Kevin, he just knew it was bad intentions. For all Kevin and Sami have been through, family has never been involved. Sami doesn’t recognize himself, he doesn’t recognize Kevin. One of the questions is, “How is it different this time?” That is how it’s different. Sami isn’t sure what he’s capable of, or what Kevin is capable of. Neither of them are really themselves right now. They’re in headspaces they’ve never been before. It is unsanctioned and Sami gets why. Maybe Sami’s neck is too much of a liability. Sami admits, he isn’t where he wants to be just yet.
But they should be more concerned about what Sami does to Kevin. And this will be war. Everything they’ve done to each other over the years, thsi will end up worse than all of it. Sami hopes Kevin is ready, because it will be a bad time. It’ll be bad for Sami, but it’ll be much worse for Kevin. The Underdog from the Underground has given his ultimatum, but will he be the one unable to walk away after this grudge match?
Bianca Belair & Naomi speak.
The EST tells Liv & Raquel that they must be as dumb as they look if they thought attacking her and Naomi was a smart move. Naomi says this was about getting even for Jade, and that would’ve been the end of it. But Liv & Raquel just had to come for the tag titles. So this is what happens now: GlowEST whoops Liv & Raquel to hold onto the gold, then they go to Elimination Chamber to whoop Liv again. Then one of them is going on to WrestleMania. And after that, Liv might just get whooped a third time, just for fun. Either way, you will Feel The GlowEST, #AndStill WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions!
Dominik Mysterio w/ Carlito & Finn Balor VS Bron Breakker!
Dirty Dom and The Prince keep butting heads over what Judgment Day should do and how, and somehow, taking on the Badass Intercontinental Champion is supposed to be Dom’s redemption? Will Carlito & Finn be able to help Dom beat Bron? Or will nothing but a miracle help Dom survive?
The bell rings and the fans bark. Dom flexes on Bron but Bron SHOVES Dom down! Dom scrambles away, the ref keeps Bron back, but Bron blocks Dom’s kcik! Bron THROWS Dom up and over the ropes, then goes out to TOSS him back into the ring. Bron storms in, blocks a punch, and he reels Dom into a headlock. Dom powers up and out, Bron ducks ‘n’ dodges and builds speed to LARIAT! Dom is flipped inside-out, but Finn & Carlito get Dom to safety! The ring count starts, Bron goes out after Dom, and Judgment Day disperses! Bron chases Dom into the ring, but Dom stomps away on Bron!
Dom soaks up the heat, brings Bron in, but Bron blocks the suplex to TOSS him! The fans fire up, Bron fires knees again and again, but Finn gets on the apron! Bron runs but Carlito trips him up! But Bron CHOKES Carlito! Dom DIVES onto Bron! Dom puts Bron into the ring, then slingshot SENTONS! Cover, ONE!! Dom is upset, but he kicks Bron around. Dom soaks up the heat, but then Bron grabs him by his neck! Military press, but Carlito gets up! Bron runs Carlito off, but Dom DROPKICKS Bron onto ropes! Dom dials it up, 619! Bron falls, Dom goes up! The fans boo but Bron rises! Bron anchors Dom’s legs, Dom fires forearms, but Bron hits back.
Bron climbs, brings Dom up, but Dom fires body shots! Dom shoves Bron back, but Bron returns, goes right up, SUPER STEINER! The fans fire up and the straps come down! Bron aims, but Finn & Carlito DRAG Bron out!
Winner: Bron Breakker, by disqualification
Carlito & Finn mug Bron, then send him into steel steps! They put Bron in the ring, and now Dom joins in stomping away on Bron! Finn goes to get a chair, Carlito & Dom mug Bron more. Dom runs, but Bron BACKDROPS Dom out of the ring! Bron then gets free of Carlito, and SPEARS him down! The fans fire up, but Finn is back! Bron stares Finn down, so Finn backs off. Finn grins, does The Prince think he can take down the Big Bad Booty Nephew?
Team American Made regroups backstage.
The Creed Brothers are pumped up after what Ivy did to Dakota and Lyra out there. But Cathy Kelley walks over to bring up the “vicious assault.” Is this Ivy’s way of getting back into the title picture? Uh, of course it is! They were given one goal while Master Gable is away mastering lucha libre, and that is to bring gold to American Made. The Creeds are after the world tag titles next week, while Ivy will beat the hell out of Lyra until she gets- OH NO, Erik & Ivar attack Julius & Brutus! War is on backstage as these four brawl, but security and producers all rush in! Adam Pearce shouts for them to stop, but it isn’t stopping! Will the War Raiders make sure The Creeds fail Master Gable?
Cody Rhodes is here!
Cincinnati fires up for The American Nightmare, and they sing along with his song, “WHOA~ OH~!” Cody gets his pyro, then goes to the ring. The fans cheer Cody on while he gets a mic, and he tells Cincinnati, “I’m pretty certain I know what we’re supposed to talk about. What does it mean to ask for one man’s soul? I know that’s rather abstract phrasing, but having grown up in this business, I think I can read between the lines and understand the offer that The Final Boss, The Rock, has made me. It is certainly Good Guy 101 for me to make sure I don’t lie to you. I have never lied to you, I am not going to start lying to you now.
“But I do need you to know, as I am standing here, feet planted on the mat, eyes fixed ahead, WrestleMania sign looming over my shoulder, heading towards another main event, that I am an incredibly blessed man. I am not a team of one. This decision that I am faced with, this decision that i have to make at Elimination Chamber… It does not just affect me alone. I have my lovely life, Brandi Rhodes. I have Liberty, I have my sister and her family, I have lil’ Brody, I have the Nightmare Factory and all of my students. I have two nephews breaking into this game and share the last name, ‘Rhodes.’
“I have a mother that it is my job to take care of. And I have the memory of a father…” The fans cheer for Dusty, and Cody continues. Cody remembers Dusty, working into his 60s, he was bleeding and breaking his body just to make ends meet. Cody doesn’t want that memory to mirror his future. What this boils down to, it is everything we know Cody would fight, scratch and claw to get… And from what The Rock was saying, Cody could have it without having to fight, scratch or claw. But wait! Seth Rollins interrupts! The fans sing for Rollins now, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” as he struts out in an all red leather ensemble.
Rollins joins Cody in the ring, grabs himself a mic, revels in the singing a little longer, and Rollins tells Cincinnati and Cody that this is the first time they’ve been in the same ring together in nearly a year. Last time was WrestleMania 40. And Rollins would love for this moment to be a moment of celebration! Rollins would welcome Cody back to his show, Monday Night Rollins. Rollins would love to look Cody in the eye, congratulate him on his near-year-long reign. They’d shake hands, and Rollins would sasy after he wins Eliminatoin Chamber, he cannot wait ot face Cody in the main event of WrestleMania 41.
Rollins would love to do that, but he’s not here for that. Rollins wants to ask Cody the same thing fans have been wondering since Friday: “What the Hell are you thinking!?” Rollins takes off his sunglasses to say how a year ago, they were side by side, in the battle of their lives, against The Bloodline! Against Roman Reigns! Against The Rock! And now The Rock is back to make Cody into his champion? To “sell your soul?” The fact Cody didn’t just slap him in the face on the spot is a slap in Rollins’ face!
Do NOT make Rollins regret every thing he sacrificed just to help Cody win the WWE Championship. The fans cheer that! Rollins asks what Cody would become Rock’s guy for? Be in Rock’s movies? Get Rock’s followers? Get the easy way out? Is the title weighing on him? Is it a burden? It wasn’t for Rollins. Cody wishes this conversation was going differently, because having the chance to speak to Rollins, it’d be laced with gratitude. But Rollins sounds awfully judgmental. Let’s not forget The Rock came to SmackDown, asked Cody for his soul. The reason Rollins wasn’t asked is because his might already be compromised!
Rollins shook Cody’s hands before he took his surgery, then hit him with a sledgehammer! Cody knows Rollins just as well as Rollins knows Cody! Rollins betrayed The Shield by hitting them in the back, ending that relationship, then saddled up with The Authority to run guys like Cody out of the WWE! Cody knows Rollins! Which is why Cody also knows Rollins was Cody’s shield at Mania 40. They were partners! They were brothers! With a bad leg and a bad back, Rollins helped Cody live the Rhodes Family’s biggest dream by becoming THE WWE Champion! Rollins as the MVP of WrestleMania 40! The fans cheer that, too!
Rollins takes a moment before he speaks again. “Look. I’m not out here to judge you. Maybe… Maybe in some ways, I’m out here to protect you from making the mistakes that I made all those years ago. Because making those mistakes, it eats at you, it fills you up, and I have been filled with hate. I have been filled with hate lately. And sometimes, it’s pointed at the right guys. Pointed at Roman Reigns, pointed at CM Punk. I do not want to hate you. Don’t make me hate you, Cody Rhodes. Now look, at the end of the day, you’re a grown man, you can make your own decision, you can do whatever you want.
“This Saturday, I’m going to Elimination Chamber, I’m going to win, and the man I want to face at WrestleMania for that championship, it is not a soulless shell of Cody Rhodes. The Cody Rhodes I want to face at WrestleMania is the man that came back and beat me at WrestleMania 38! I want to face the Cody Rhodes that took me to my limit and beat me with one arm inside Hell in a Cell! I want to face the Cody Rhodes that I helped crown WWE Champion last year in the main event of WrestleMania!” The fans are fired up for that! Rollins says Cody will do what he wants, but that is what Rollins wants. Rollins isn’t coming for Cody’s soul, but he is coming for the title.
Rollins leaves, and Cody has even more to think about than before. The Visionary wants The American Nightmare, will that be who he gets? Or are we about to see a new corporate sellout?
The Alpha Academy regroups in the trainer’s room.
Natalya is also with Maxxine, Akira & Otis. Jey Uso steps in, and he says Akira showed heart out there. Respect. Akira says YEET. Jey gives Akira more ice, then heads out. But Grayson Waller & Austin Theory cross paths with him. Waller says Jey must be in there apologizing to Akira. Theory says Jey’s friend needs more ice than that. Waller says Jey doesn’t care, Jey only cares about himself now. What does Jey have to say for himself? Uh, YEET. Oh, no, what? Just cuz Jey has one word makes him great? No, he’s just a meme! Jey sighs, and again says YEET! Waller says look him in the eyes. Does Jey think this is a joke?
Jey thinks he wins at Mania just because the people love him? Jey is not beating Gunther, all the boys in the back know it! The smart fans online know it! And anyone knows this game knows Gunther runs through Jey to embarrass him on the grandest stage of them all. Does that hurt, Jey? Oh, so Waller is doubting Jey? Theory is doubting Jey? Half the locker room is doubting him, half the whole WORLD is doubting him! But that’s okay, because at Mania, grandest stage of them all, Jey beats Gunther! Jey puts that on everything, Uce! Four letters, one word. Uh, uh, YEET! Theory finds himself doing it, too!
Waller asks what the heck! Theory says hey, it’s not like that. Just worry about Jey. Why should Waller worry about Jey? SUPERKICK! Jey just showed Waller why! And then says YEET! Jey heads out, will A-Town Down Under understand not to run their mouths?
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Bianca Belair & Naomi VS Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez!
For literal months, The GlowEST has been waiting for word on whodunnit in the case of Jade Cargill’s attack. Video evidence heavily implies Judgment Day in the incident, but Liv & Raquel have been coy about their involvement. Will Bianca & Naomi get to the bottom of this? Or will they lose it all before Elimination Chamber?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who has the most momentum on this Road to WrestleMania!
The teams sort, out, but GlowEST just attack! The fans fire up as Naomi & Bianca get even for Friday! Things spill out, and the champs THROW Liv into the barriers! Then they get Raquel and THROW her into the timekeeper’s area! The fans fire up while Bianca puts Liv back in the ring. Bianca wants this, Liv flounders around, the bell rings and Bianca RAMS into Liv! Bianca bumps Liv off buckles, tags Naomi, and the champs double wrench to double RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Then handshake DOUBLE ELBOW DROP! Naomi stands Liv up, tags Bianca back in, and they double whip to DOUBL EHIP TOSS!
Bianca & Naomi then set up, STANDING MONSAULT LEG DROP COMBO! Cover, TWO! Liv stays in this but Bianca stalks her. Bianca THROWS Liv by her hair, the ref reprimands, but Bianca runs up. Liv KICKS Bianca in the leg! Liv ELBOWS Naomi, the ref stops Naomi from getting in, but Bianca DECKS Liv! Bianca whips Liv, Liv reverses, and Raquel TRIPS Bianca! Raquel gets away with that one and then tags in. Raquel YANKS Bianca out to the floor, then THROWS her into the barriers! Raquel & Liv grin as they stand tall, but Raw goes to break.
Raw returns and the fans rally as Bianca rains down fists. Raquel slips free, runs up, but Bianca backflips up and over! Hot tag to Naomi! Naomi rallies on Raquel, then wrenches to HOOK KICK! Naomi goes up again, to BLCOKBUSTER! Hot tag back to Bianca! Bianca goes up, she 450 SPLASHES! Cover, TWO!! Raquel survives and Bianca is beside herself! Bianca blocks it, and Naomi tags in! ROUNDHOUSE for Liv, then a torture rack! But DOM rushes up! The ref stops Dom but Raquel saves Liv! Raquel LARIATS Bianca, and hoists Naomi with the TEJANA BOMB!! Liv hurries to hit OBLIVION!! Cover, BIANCA BREAKS IT!! Cincy is thunderous while Dom is furious! Raquel whips Bianca, BOOTS her, but Bianca comes back to SPEAR!! And she POSTS Naomi!!
Naomi flops down, Liv crawls to a cover! LIV & RAQUEL WIN!!
Winners: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, by pinfall (NEW WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions)
As dirty as this win was, history is now made as Liv is a THREE-TIME Women’s Tag Team Champion! Will Liv just keep winning right through Elimination Chamber? Or do Bianca & Naomi just have even more of a reason to run her off the Road to WrestleMania?
My Thoughts:
A great Raw here, and it went to about 2 hours and 40 minutes instead of 2 hours and 30. They gave good time to each of the matches, but most of them went how I figured. The Judgment Day story combining with the Jade Cargill whodunnit story went most of how I figured it would. I’d been thinking/wanting it to be Jade revealing the truth that cost Bianca & Naomi, because that’d be better than Dom interfering again. At the same time, I feel like there was a missed opportunity in Judgment Day not defying what Finn wants by adding a new member. But perhaps that moment is for when they kick Finn out of the group at the same time.
Finn might also get kicked out once he fails to beat Bron, as they’re teasing something there on top of the tease of Bron and AJ Styles last week. There was also a promo my US-based, basic level Netflix package missed: Logan Paul and AJ Styles exchanged words, with Karrion Kross watching from the back. There are many teases of many matches, and I’m still hoping for big matches for the midcard titles. Bron, Finn, Styles, Penta, Kaiser, Dunne, just to say names fans actually like watching. That Triple Threat of Penta, Kaiser & Dunne was an awesome opening match, and very clever move for Kaiser to snipe Penta’s win.
I will say, Logan and CM Punk had a very good opening promo to add some heat to the Elimination Chamber match. Logan and Punk will definitely be after each other, so maybe they should just start the match. Especially since it feels like Cena should win to go for his 17th. Cody and Rollins had a very good promo together, and that was about how I expected from Friday: Rollins as a Face, he told Cody not to “sell his soul,” because he’s better than that. There’s probably one last segment on SmackDown for a Heel to tell Cody to take the deal, but I would think Cody refuses. But obviously, ever since Friday, fans have had all sorts of ideas about how Heel Cody could work, so I wouldn’t be against that.
Very good match from New Day VS Cruz & Wilde, but of course New Day one. They also beat down Dragon Lee, so clearly this has to mean Rey makes a miraculous return in time for Mania. Great match from Lyra VS Dakota, and while it’s a shame Dakota lost again, Ivy going after both her and Lyra could spark a Triple Threat for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Good stuff with the War Raiders going after The Creeds, though. The tag title rematch next week will be great, but where is our vignette of Gable’s lucha journey? Very good promo from Rhea and Iyo, but it didn’t really add much. I would think Rhea wins the title match to face whoever wins the Chamber.
I figured Gunther was only gonna do a glorified squash match, but Akira did good bringing the fight to him for a moment. Otis failing to make the save but Jey succeeding was also expected. Good promo backstage with Jey and A-Town Down Under, and I would think that superkick gives us Jey VS Waller next week. WrestleMania being so deep into April is really hurting this build in particular, though. How many times can Gunther talk trash on Jey just for Jey to respond with confidence?
And great promo from Sami in response to Kevin creeping up on his house. I really appreciate that, given how self-aware of tropes Kevin and Sami have always been, Sami was self-aware of what he was about to do. Sami could’ve easily done his own breaking ‘n’ entering move, but he knows he should be better than that. Sami said it himself that this is going to be the most violent match he and Kevin have put on, just as I was expecting, so I can’t wait to see it.
My Score: 8.8/10
