The Chicago crowd was 100% behind the champion, but the throwback challenger didn’t relent in throwing EVERYTHING at the Dutch Destroyer.

The major psychological factor in the match was the left knee of Aleister Black, hurt when he tried to block a diving headbutt from Lars Sullivan.

In the end, Aleister Black hit the Black Mass multiple times to secure the win and retain the NXT Championship.
