Raw opens with Seth Freakin’ Rollins!

And he is still WWE Universal Champion, even after Baron Corbin’s clever ruse. The Lone Wolf tried using a Lady to get in between Rollins and his title, but it was thanks to The Man that things didn’t go their way. Rollins and Becky Lynch made sure Corbin and Lacey Evan got what they deserved, and the two stood tall to end Stomping Grounds. And he’s all smiles as fans chant “Burn It Down!” Rollins picks up a mic to talk about last night. “Last night at Stomping Grounds, right down the road at Tacoma, Baron Corbin thought he was going to take this title from me.” But here comes The Man! And still Raw Women’s Champion! Becky joins her beau in the ring to stand side-by-side with him.

Fans cheer but Rollins is a bit surprised. Rollins says Becky interrupted him. She did? She did. But before getting into this, Rollins gives Baron Corbin some credit. Sounds crazy, but he was smart to admit he couldn’t out wrestle or out fight him, so he got a ref Rollins couldn’t hurt and who would do anything she could to stick it to Rollins. But Corbin wasn’t smart enough to realize that he has “the best back-up on the planet.” It pays to be The Man’s Man. And when it came to last night, they proved why they’re both the champions of their divisions. Lacey lost but had to come out and tried to steal a title. But The Man came around to slap Lacey’s empty head off its shoulders. But here comes Baron Corbin himself now!

And Lacey attacks from behind!! Lacey is all over Becky but Becky turns it around! Rollins pulls Becky off Lacey but Becky gets mad at him! And then goes back to hitting Lacey! Corbin finally appears but Rollins is right on him, Slingblade! Becky stops stomping Lacey long enough for a Becksploder! Corbin’s plans fail again! The Man and her Man stand tall with their titles, but Corbin says fans SHOULD chant for Becky. She saved Rollins and that title! Rollins should just give Becky his boat, then fly home to put on an apron and make dinner for The Man, since she’s the real bread winner! Lacey agrees, Becky should get her girl on out of here before Lacey puts her hands on him again.

Corbin says Becky is the only reason he isn’t Universal Champion! And he chose Lacey because she’s the only real woman on Raw! He’d even take her in a mixed tag match against The Man and Rollins anytime, anywhere. Lacey agrees! That should be at Extreme Rules. Well if those two dopes are that desperate for getting their heads stomped and arms ripped off, fine. But on one condition: if Corbin and Lacey lose, that’s it! No more matches with either of them ever again! Corbin and Lacey talk it over, and accept. And then they raise it! Oh well their ideas seem to be working out so well. Rollins doesn’t even care what the challenge is, he accepts it! Well he should’ve cared, because BOTH titles are on the line! Will this unique mixed tag championship match be as extreme as it is historic?

8 Man Tag Elimination Match: The Planet’s Tag Team Champions & The Revival VS The Usos & The New Day!

Washington is still Daniel Bryan Country! The SmackDown and Raw Tag Team Champions combine forces to take on respective challengers as Jimmy & Jey join forces with Big E & Xavier Woods! Will Dash & Dawson help Bryan & Rowan restore the prestige to WWE’s tag team division? Or will they be no match for positivity and the penitentiary?

Raw returns as the #TopGuys make their entrance, followed by The New Day! Usos break it down: champions VS challengers! “The Little Rascals” and “Spongebob and Patrick” team up but they’ll get locked down! But in this elimination match, once one member of a duo is eliminated, so is his partner! Who will end up at a major disadvantage first?

Teams sort out and Bryan starts against Woods. Woods doesn’t mind that the fans cheer for Bryan, but then Scott Dawson tags in on his own. Dawson says it’s okay, he’ll get this done. He nudges Bryan but Bryan pushes back. Dawson and Woods tie up, and Dawson gets a headlock takeover. Woods gets up and powers Dawson. Tag to Big E and Big E runs Dawson over! Woods holds Dawson in place for Big E’s SPLASH, with a leg drop added! Cover, TWO! Big E keeps on Dawson and whips to scoop. But Dawson slips out and tags Rowan. Big E suplexes Dawson but gets run over by Rowan! Rowan hits Woods and then throws Big E with a sit-out urenage! The Usos come in but get sent out by Rowan alone! Big Red Splash FLOPS!

Fans rally and Bryan tags in, as does Woods. Woods dodges, slides, and mule kicks. Woods whips Bryan but Bryan goes up and over to then run and leaping lariat! Washington fires up as Bryan clotheslines Woods out. The Revival cheer Bryan, too, as he DIVES to hit- Dawson!? Woods got clear, but then he runs into Bryan’s forearm! Bryan climbs up fast, leaps, missile dropkick hits! Kip-up and fire up! Bryan aims at Woods, to give him Yes Kicks! He aims the buzzsaw but misses! Woods waistlocks but Bryan standing switches to roll up! TWO, and Dash uppercuts Bryan!? Woods rolls Bryan up, The New Day ELIMINATE The Planet’s Tag Team Champions! The Revival’s pettiness may have just cost them!

Dawson goes at Woods but Woods reverses the whip. Dash tags in and Dawson puts Woods out. Woods hits Dash back then kicks Dawson. Woods springboards, into a SHATTER MACHINE! The Revival ELIMINATE The New Day!! Things are evened up in a blink of an eye! Will the Usos be able to avenge the New Day after the break?

Raw returns as The Usos DOUBLE FLY! They take out both Dash & Dawson! They throw hands then put Dash in. Dawson runs but gets a double back drop! Fans rally for the Usos but Dash puts Jey on the apron. Jey kicks back then climbs up for a big crossbody! Cover, TWO! Dash flounders but blocks Jey’s kick, and ducks the dragon whip! Jimmy tags in and Jey reverses the whip, Samoan Drop neckbreaker! Cover, TWO! Dash keeps The Revival alive, but Jimmy keeps moving. Jimmy climbs but Dash springs up. Jimmy jumps over and Dash hits Jey, only to gt a SUPERKICK! Then Jimmy pop, lock and uppercuts! He ducks the clothesline but leaps into Dash’s powerslam! Cover, TWO! Dash grows furious that Jimmy survives!

Fans rally up as Dash and Jimmy are on the apron. Dash throws hands and pulls off Jimmy’s shirt to CHOP him. Jimmy headbutts back! Jimmy gets in but his superkick is countered to an Electric Chair! Dawson tags in and climbs up top, Electric Chair Bulldog! Cover, TWO!! Dawson argues with the ref, but two is two. Dawson stomps Jimmy but fans rally up. Jimmy counter punches but Dawson shoves him away. Dawson blocks the kick but still gets the dragon whip! Jimmy climbs up but Dawson stops him with a forearm! Dawson climbs up but Jey tags in. Dawson punched Jey down and calls for Dash. Dash climbs the other corner, but Jey shoves Dash down! Jey climbs up on Dash, SUPERPLEX from Dawson to Jimmy, but Jey SPLASHES down! Cover, The Usos win!

Winners: The New Day & The Usos, Jey Uso pinning

The Usos win it for their team, but most importantly, this means they beat the Raw Tag Team Champions! Will Jimmy & Jey head to Extreme Rules with a championship match on the card?

Raw found Braun Strowman warming up for his Tug of War match.

The Monster Among Men has already proven he’s strong enough to flip a semi truck, but now he shows that he can tow one, too! That’s roughly 8 tons! Can Bobby Lashley stand against such strength?

Raw presents Miz TV!

The Most Must-See WWE Talk Show returns, and his guests are at the center of the most exciting title chase in recent history: The WWE 24/7 Championship! Yes, it is Carmella and R-Truth! The Fabulous Princess walks out with the now 7-time champion, but Miz assures him the interview is a pause on the 24/7 rules. In just a month, this WWE 24/7 Championship has led mobs of superstars all over the world, from a golf course, a tarmac, on an airplane over the Red Sea, and perhaps wildest of all, Drake Maverick’s wedding. Miz shares the YouTube footage from over the weekend, and poor Maverick having his special day ruined with a roll-up.

Back in the present, Miz is shocked! A wedding? Really? Really! This old gag returns after however long. And the fans support it? Yes! Truth thanks them! But he explains to Miz that the 48/7 European TV Championship “ain’t no joke, bruh!” Truth has been barely able to eat, drink or be merry, “if you know what I mean.” He can’t go shopping, he can’t go to picnics, without looking over his shoulder. Truth even has WWE Superstars showing up at his house! Dressing like police, “Sir! Please turn your music down! Your car is on fire!” Yeah right. Truth’s smarter than that. Carmella translates that while the wedding crashing was extreme, the title is that important to him. Wait, here comes Drake Maverick!

A dejected Rockstar Spud says winning that title was the biggest moment of his career, and his wedding was supposed to be the biggest moment of his life, and Truth ruined both of them! His new wife won’t talk to him or go on their honeymoon. And that means they haven’t… “consummated the marriage!” Fiber’s good for that. No, Truth, not constipated… Fans chant “Constipation!” Maverick talks man to man with Truth, asking for a rematch. No shenanigans, just a straight up match right here and now on Raw, to see if Maverick can win back the love of his back. Yeah, let him win his wife back. No, the title!!

Miz is getting information in his ear. If Truth accepts, then it is with a ban from ringside for anyone else. Fans want to see it! Truth accepts Hornswoggle’s challenge! Miz shouts for a ref, and we’ll get this after the break!

WWE 24/7 Championship: R-Truth w/ Carmella VS Drake Maverick!

Raw returns as the bell rings, and Maverick fires off on Truth! Truth shoves Maverick away and hits the Lie Detector! Truth wins!!

Winner: R-Truth, by pinfall; still WWE 24/7 Champion

Well that didn’t last long. Surely Maverick was still hungover from the reception. But now that the match is over, the floodgates open!! Truth doesn’t see it in time, and now he’s surrounded! He manages to knock down EC3 and a few others, then ducks Gran Metalik’s springboard dropkick! Truth kicks Metalik and throws him out onto his amigos! But No Way Jose slips in! Truth avoids the roll-up, but not the NEURALIZER! Cedric Alexander covers, but No Way Jose breaks it up!

Alexander and Jose brawl but the Lucha House Party piles on. Truth and Carmella retreat through the WWE Universe! Truth has the title now, but will he finish Raw with it?

As for Maverick, he stands up, but is clearly distraught. Charly Caruso gets in the ring to ask him about this tough week. Where does he go from here? (Other than just staying 205 Live GM) He can’t really bring the words out, so he simply takes his leave.

Lacey and Corbin talk backstage.

She wants to be Raw Women’s Champion, so he better- Yes, he knows. Rollins has been a thorn in Corbin’s side, too. Coribn will enjoy stomping Rollins out. They need to keep their heads in the game. Rollins is treated like he’s Superman, but Superman has his kryptonite. And for Rollins, it’s Becky. Take her out then they’ll both get the titles. And they might even be a power couple of their own.

2v1 Handicap Match: Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre VS Roman Reigns!

The Best in the World couldn’t screw The Big Dog out of a Stomping Grounds victory, so now he and the Scottish Terminator try again together! Can Roman again rise up and defy the odds? Or is this deck finally stacked enough to stop him?

Wait, Shane makes sure it is clear this is the kind of Handicap Match with no tagging! Now Roman really will have to overcome both Shane and McIntyre at the same time. He doesn’t seem to care as he makes his entrance, though. Roman uppercuts Shane the second he gets in the ring! The bell rings and McIntyre throws Roman in a corner! McIntyre clubs away on Roman and throws in big knees. Roman hits back with big hands of his own, until McIntyre shoves him away. Roman clotheslines McIntyre out but Shane comes back with body shots! But Roman backs Shane into a corner and rams his shoulder in! BIG uppercut! But McIntyre drags Roman out to throw him into barriers! And then more barriers! And then the steel steps!

Shane joins McIntyre on the outside to stomp Roman. McIntyre drags Roman to bounce him off the base steps! And then picks up the other steps while Shane holds Roman up. Shane feeds Roman to McIntyre’s step battering ram! McIntyre drags Roman into the ring and both he and Shane stalk Roman. Fans duel as McIntyre sits Roman up for Shane’s kick! Shane kicks Roman more then McIntyre stomps him. McIntyre drags Roman up, and Shane whips Roman into a CLAYMORE! But that’s not enough for Shane, he has McIntyre bring Roman up again. McIntyre whips Roman at Shane, for Shane’s SPEAR! Shane again steals Roman’s move, but Shane still won’t end it. He has McIntyre take aim again, for a second CLAYMORE!

And that’s still not enough! Shane climbs to a corner while McIntyre holds Roman, but a gong!? The lights go down, and then come back on, with The UNDERTAKER! He catches Shane, for a CHOKE SLAM! Taker boots McIntyre then fires off fast hands in the corner! Taker DECKS McIntyre, then clotheslines him out! Shane staggers up, but Taker clotheslines Shane out! The Deadman just saved Roman Reigns from Shane and McIntyre! Fans are thunderous as Taker slashes the throat, eyes rolled back. Taker strikes his famous pose and the dark light shines! Is Taker here to finally end The Best in the World?

Tug of War: Bobby Lashley VS Braun Strowman!

The Monster Among Men won an arm wrestling contest, which Lashley took very sorely. Then Strowman beat Lashley at Super Showdown, which Lashley also took sorely. But now the Rocky Mountain Machine wants to see just how strong Strowman truly is in this old school test! Lashley used a telephone pole for his training, and tore the rope apart! Will that happen to this rope here tonight? Or will one titan fall to the other before that happens?

Fans fire up as each man goes to their corner. They chant “Get These Hands!” as each man straps in. The ribbon is centered with the red line, and the bell rings! Lashley gets an early advantage, but Strowman holds tight. Strowman digs in so hard, the mat carpet is coming up! Strowman is mere inches from the red line, but he grins! Was he toying with Lashley!? Strowman reels Lashley all the way over!

Winner: Braun Strowman

But Lashly is again a sore loser as he goes after Strowman with clubbing hands and stomps! Lashley throws Strowman into a post! Then he grab the rope to pull Strowman back! The rope blinds Strowman as it goes across his eyes! Lashley finally lets go, and Strowman slumps out of the ring. But Lashley isn’t done, he goes out and runs around the corner, only for Strowman to BLAST him off his feet! Lashley gets up to blast Strowman into barriers! Lashley boasts like he won, but he still hasn’t beat Strowman in a match. Will he change that the next time these two meet?

Backstage interview with AJ Styles.

The Phenomenal One is cleared to compete, and he’s ready to go! But as great as rehab was, why is he after Ricochet so soon? Because sitting at home was killing him. But now there’s a new WWE United States Champion. The match Ricochet had with Samoa Joe was so incredible- Wait why is No Way Jose’s music playing? Styles sees Gallows and Anderson in the conga line!! They’re just partying, good brother. But what about preparing for the Viking Raiders?! Oh AJ, it ain’t nothing but a G&A Thing. They’ve talked about this!

No, he talked about this. They’re still at the top of their game. Like when they lost to the Usos? Come on! Where is the NJPW Gallows & Anderson? The Club!! Where are the former Raw Tag Team Champions? What happened? Well what happened to Styles!? Gallows calms Anderson, and vows they will take the fight to the Raiders.

The Good Brothers VS The Viking Raiders!

Both these teams held gold while in NJPW, but it seems only one team has held onto that mean streak that made them champions. Can Gallows and Anderson bring back the Doc and Machine Gun? Or will Erik & Ivar put them through a Viking Experience they’ll never forget?

Raw returns as Gallows and Anderson watch the Raiders make their entrance. The bell rings and Gallows goes right at Ivar! He kicks Ivar and throws body shots in the corner. Then a big uppercut! Gallows brings Ivar over and tags Anderson to mug Ivar. But Ivar kicks and clubs Anderson back, then tags in Erik. Ivar scoop slams Anderson, then Erik scoop slams Ivar onto Anderson! Erik stalks Anderson to a corner and whips him corner to corner. Anderson reverses but Erik goes up and over, only to get a BIG lariat! Anderson grits his teeth as he rains down rights on Erik! He lets up at the ref’s count but brings Erik over to tag Gallows. The Club whips Erik and Gallows kicks low. Anderson clubs Erik down for Gallows to drive elbows into. Gallows then clamps on a chinlock to thrash Erik around.

Styles watches backstage and likes what he sees from his boys. Erik powers up as fans rally, and he fights out of the hold. Erik shoves but Gallows YAKUZA Kicks! Then Gallows uppercuts Ivar! Tag to Anderson, fireman’s carry, Boot of Doom! Cover, TWO! Erik survives but Anderson scowls. Anderson rains down more hands, but stops to soak up the heat. They want Styles to see this. But Erik forearms Anderson down! Tag to Ivar and Ivar runs Anderson over! Ivar hits Gallows back, but misses in the corner, to still give Anderson a seated senton! Gallows runs in but Ivar cartwheels to clotheslines Gallows out! Ivar builds speed and Erik tags in, Ivar DIVES into Gallows! Erik has Anderson, THOR’S HAMMER! Cover, The Viking Raiders win!

Winners: The Viking Raiders, Erik pinning

And Styles is disappointed all over again. What will it take for The Club to get back on track?

Nikki Cross finds Alexa Bliss backstage.

The Goddess is clearly upset, and Nikki apologizes. Alexa isn’t mad at her, she just isn’t sure what they could do different. Nikki still takes the blame, so Alexa says they can just use that as motivation. Bayley is just that good at manipulating people. But there has to be a way to get a rematch. Yeah, they need a plan. But Alexa needs to be alone for that, so Nikki scoots away. Does Alexa already have that plan in motion?

Raw returns and Nikki ends up encountering Naomi and Natalya.

They aren’t sure how to say this, but Nikki being friends with Alexa Bliss, something is up. Alexa is not very trustworthy. Nikki sees the best in people, but they’ve seen the worst in Alexa. Yes, Nikki knows Alexa’s past but- Alexa comes by and asks what’s going on. Is Nikki betraying her with this “neon Bayley buddy”? That’s Ms. Neon to Alexa. Natty and Nikki try to keep the peace but Naomi says Nikki will just have to learn the hard way. As for Alexa, she’s gonna #FeelTheGlow the hard way. Will Naomi and Natty be able to shine some light on Alexa’s true colors?

Mojo Rawley VS Heath Slater!

We all know Heath’s got kids, and needs the money, but is taking on a shattered Mojo really the way to go about it?

NINE TIMES! Truth is a NINE TIME WWE 24/7 Champion! The chase is on again, will there be even more title changes before Raw is over?

Backstage interview with WWE United States Champion, Ricochet!

The One and Only has his first title in the WWE, and it’s still surreal to him. But Ricochet knows it is a feeling he doesn’t want to let go. He will do what he can to keep this title and this feeling. It may be cliche to say, but it did take the support of his family, friends and fans to get him here. But that was Stomping Grounds. Tonight, he faces a wrestler who he has admired his entire career in AJ Styles. Styles is a trailblazer for those who aren’t the biggest but they are the most determined. Ricochet will prove to Styles and himself that he is worthy of holding this title. Will the King of Flight fly higher than ever before here tonight?

Kofi Kingston VS Sami Zayn w/ Kevin Owens!

Kofimania lives on! And he did it by falling with style as he literally leaped over Dolph Ziggler to escape the cage. Charly interviews Kofi in the ring to congratulate him again on his victory. But before she can ask anything more, Sami Zayn interrupts! He and Kevin say the softball journalism is just wasting our time. Luckily, he and Kevin came prepared. Kevin has some real questions so “Not Renee” can just leave. Time for an impromptu edition of the Sami & Kevin show! Let’s see if Kofi can keep up.

Question 1: Why is Kofi here? 2: Who does Kofi think he is? 3: Why doesn’t he just get the hell out of here?! Kofi asks them something back. Does Kevin not see the giant zit that’s bleeding? Kofi can see it all the way from the ring. Sami asks why Kofi is such a “paper champion”? Why is it that Kofi’s identity as champion is “guy that gets help from his friends?” AKA Big E and Xavier Woods, who lost to Kevin and Sami! So why does Kofi use his friends? Hey, just because the best frenemies are always on and off, doesn’t mean everyone does that, too. Kofi, Xavier and Big E are brothers! This bond can’t be broken!

And not winning by himself? But didn’t he beat Kevin at MITB by himself? And Kofi beat Ziggler by himself in that cage match. And just like that, Kofi will beat “Sam Zayn” by himself. Wow. The arrogance. “I did it all by myself!” Classic delusions of grandeur by Sami’s estimation. Sami will give Kofi a reality check! It isn’t about ego, it’s about perseverance! The WWE Championship isn’t just about Kofi but about the fans. And to be honest, Kofi is getting tired of Sami talking. So Sami should just come and get another Trouble in Paradise courtesy of THE W, W, E, World, Heavy, Weight, Champion, BABYYYYYY~! Kofi is ready, but is Sami ready?

Have a match with Kevin Owens, right here and now! Kofi considers it, and figures why not! Kofi goes back to the ring for another match! Is he going to complete the sweep after the break?

Raw announces a HUGE Extreme Rules PPV match!

After the Undertaker returned to save Roman Reigns, they will team up to take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre! Will the Yard truly belong to The Deadman and the Big Dog? Or will the Best in the World and his Scottish Terminator find a way to stack the deck in their favor?

Naomi VS Alexa Bliss w/ Nikki Cross!

The Goddess failed to bring the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Raw, but she still claims it is because Bayley is a bully and a liar. But Naomi and Natalya know Alexa is all that and more, it’s just a matter of getting Nikki to see that. Will this match do a lot to expose Alexa’s true intentions? Or will the wool still be pulled over the eyes of Crazy Cross?

The bell rings and Naomi SLAPS Alexa! Alexa swings but Naomi splits to dodge! Alexa runs into a kick and another slap! Naomi runs into a big lariat! Alexa scowls as she looms over Naomi. Natty snap suplexes Alexa down then drags her up for another. Natty drags Alexa around and wants the sharpshooter, but Alexa powers out! Tag to Nikki! Nikki rallies on Natty with furious forearms! Nikki keeps moving, going to the ropes. She shoulders and slingshots in for a dropkick! Then she hurries up top, and leaps for a crossbody! Cover, TWO! Nikki doesn’t slow down, she fires up more. She brings Natty to their corner and Alexa tags in. Natty fights back, but Alexa lets Nikki take care of Natty with The Purge! Alexa covers, Alexa and Nikki win!

Winners: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Bliss pinning

Nikki is still confused, but only because Alexa let her do all the work. Though, Alexa did do a lot of work against Naomi in their singles match. Are they going to work like this all the way to those WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships?

Ricochet VS AJ Styles!

Raw brings us this incredible first-time-anywhere match-up! And while it isn’t for the WWE United States Championship, surely a win would mean the Phenomenal One is back at the front of the line for the title he once held. But with how hard he fought to get here, will the One and Only only fight that much harder to be better than phenomenal?

The bell rings and Styles circles with Ricochet. They tie up as fans duel and Styles powers Ricochet to a corner. The ref calls for a break and Styles backs off. Styles and Ricochet circle again and tie up again. Ricochet wrenches and wristlocks, but Styles rolls and handsprings to reverse it. Ricochet works to do the same but Styles catches him to a headlock! Styles has Ricochet on the mat but Ricochet rolls to a cover, ONE! Ricochet rolls again and Styles lets go. Styles runs into an arm-drag, and then another! Styles stays back to avoid a third, and fans cheer the exchange.

But here come Anderson & Gallows down the ramp. Ricochet is wary of The Club being here in Styles corner now. He and Styles tie up again, and Ricochet headlocks. Styles powers out but Ricochet holds ropes. Ricochet has to worry about Anderson swiping at him, but Styles is just as surprised. This isn’t what he meant when he said they should take things more seriously. Styles can do this on his own! He even gets on the mic to tell them they’re not ruining this. He wants them to leave, and now. The Club backs off to leave Styles be. Raw goes to break, will Anderson & Gallows really honor Styles wishes?

Raw returns once again, and it really is just Styles and Ricochet now. They tie up again, and Ricochet waistlocks. Styles standing switches, but Ricochet does, too. Ricochet headlocks, and holds on as Styles tries to power out. Fans duel again as Styles gets back up. Styles throws forearms and back suplexes but Ricochet lands on his feet. Ricochet runs and rolls off Styles’ back, then handsprings to headscissor and dropkick Styles down! Cover, ONE! Ricochet keeps on Styles with haymakers in the corner. Ricochet wrenches and brings Styles to the mat. Styles gets up but Ricochet wrenches again, then tucks Styles in for a modified standing stretch. Ricochet makes it a cover, TWO!

Styles powers Ricochet to a corner! Ricochet forearms back but Styles CHOPS back! Ricochet throws another forearm but Styles rocks him with a right! Styles shakes it off while bringing Ricochet up for a CHOP! He whips but Ricochet rolls off his back again, only to get a PELE! Styles brings Ricochet up and bumps him off buckles. He rams his shoulder into Ricochet, then snapmares him for a swift kick to the back. Fans duel while Styles grimaces through a scratched and bloody face. Styles drags Ricochet up again but Ricochet blocks the suplex. Ricochet fights back with forearms, but runs into a back drop! Styles looms over Ricochet before bringing him up for a stiff forearm! Ricochet hits back and then dropkicks Styles down!

Styles bails out but Ricochet runs, to FLY! Direct hit but a bit double-edged! Ricochet gets up to get Styles back in the ring. Ricochet covers, ONE! Styles gets to a corner but Ricochet is on him with a snapmare. Ricochet runs and hits a basement dropkick! Cover, TWO! Ricochet grows frustrated but he keeps focus on Styles. Styles kicks Ricochet back and snap suplexes him into buckles! Cover, TWO! Ricochet is dazed but still in this. Styles keeps his cool as he stalks behind Ricochet. Styles clamps on a chinlock and bends Ricochet back in a pseudo Camel Clutch. Ricochet endures being bent and stretched and fans rally up behind him.

Ricochet stands and fights out with body shots and uppercuts. He backs Styles into a corner then whips, but Styles reverses. Styles runs in but into a boot! Ricochet runs, ducks and dropkick-flips! Styles back hands but Ricochet PELES Styles! Fans know “This is Awesome!” as both men slowly stand. Ricochet counter punches Styles, then throws forearms and CHOPS! He whips Styles but Styles reverses again, only to get a forearm! Ricochet keeps moving to huricanrana Styles! Styles goes to a corner and Ricochet runs in, shoulder tackle! Then springboard, flying clothesline! Standing shooting star! Cover, TWO!! Styles survives and Ricochet can’t believe it! Ricochet keeps his cool, though, and gets Styles up.

Styles blocks the suplex, so Ricochet throws hands. Styles escapes the suplex and returns to the corner. He elbows Ricochet back then hops up, but Ricochet gets under the moonsault! Only to run into a scoop, inverted DDT! Cover, TWO! Ricochet lives and Styles grows frustrated. Styles gets up and stalks Ricochet again. He brings Ricochet up but Ricochet counters to a jackknife cover, TWO! Ricochet boots but misses, and Styles fires off the Phenomenal Blitz! High stack cover, TWO!! Styles is still frustrated but still focused. He brings Ricochet up but Ricochet uppercuts him away! Ricochet baits Styles into a corner and gives him a back elbow. Ricochet CHOPS then suplexes, twisting neckbreaker! LIONSAULT! Cover, TWO!!

Ricochet’s frustration starts to boil over as Styles survives. But he drags Styles to a drop zone and climbs up top. Ricochet aims, 630 but he has to bail out! Styles forearms Ricochet away, springboard to the PHENOMENAL FOREARM! Cover, Styles wins!

Winner: AJ Styles, by pinfall

And the Phenomenal One beats the champion! Styles takes the belt, but helps Ricochet up. Styles shows Ricochet respect by raising his hand. But is this just the first time we’ll be seeing both men in the ring together? Will Extreme Rules have an even greater rematch?

My Thoughts:

Stomping Grounds surprised us with a lot of great stuff, and Raw follows up with some great action, too! Though, they do get the slightly disappointing part out of the way early in further recycling the rivalries of Rollins-Corbin and Becky-Lacey. Extreme Rules gives us a Mixed Tag match that should be pretty fun, and the creative part is that it’s for both the WWE Universal and Raw Women’s Championships. It sounds like it won’t be something more like a No Disqualifications match, because I’d love to see Becky and Rollins smack away on Lacey and Corbin side by side with kendo sticks. It’d make that match worth it since there’s no way Corbin and Lacey win those titles. And it probably keeps Lesnar from cashing in, too, since Becky would be there to back up Rollins.

I guess we’re still recycling Strowman VS Lashley, too. Their tug of war was a fun bit, but Strowman sure is sweeping Lashley in everything. I wonder if this means we see the return of a Bull Rope Match, and not the kind where they need to tag the corners. These two whipping each other with the rope, using the rope to “choke” each other, that might be what this feud needs to end decisively. And then one of these guys can start challenging for a title again, depending on who has what after Extreme Rules. Probably the Universal Championship to give Rollins some competition but also to be thrown in the mix with Lesnar and that MITB cash-in. Strowman and Lashley both daring Lesnar to try would be pretty good stuff to carry Raw to Summerslam.

Teaming up the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champions was a pretty good match for tonight, after what we got before Stomping Grounds. I just wish it wasn’t the kind of elimination match where one member means the whole team. But given what else we got tonight, the time constraints were surely why, and perhaps for the greater good. With the Heels not working together well, I still hope this turns things into a story for all the titles. These four teams, and perhaps throw in the Viking Raiders and Heavy Machinery for a massive Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championship #WinnersTakeAll match would be great for Extreme Rules or Summerslam. How else are the Planet’s Tag Team Champions supposed to save the division?

I think the best thing Raw did tonight was the WWE 24/7 Championship stuff. I wish Maverick had put up more of a fight, but perhaps this prompts something big on 205 Live. Then the rest of the action was amazing, with the multiple title changes and Truth racking up the title reigns. It was incredibly creative for it to invade a scheduled match, I’m surprised they didn’t try that sooner. I don’t know if we even need anything more on SmackDown, this was great. The second best thing was Undertaker returning to Raw to go after Shane and McIntyre! It isn’t really clear why, but maybe it leads to something even better, like Taker VS Roman at Survivor Series for Taker’s 30th anniversary and actual last match.

It’s pretty clear Raw still needs SmackDown to help since Kofi pulled double duty. It’s great build for his reign, but it’s just a shame Vince didn’t schedule a Raw-exclusive story here. Joe going after Kofi was pretty great, though, and I would love if Kofi VS Joe got to be the Extreme Rules match at Extreme Rules the PPV. In order for Kofi to establish himself, he needs someone as vicious as Joe to overcome. Though, it would be nice if there was a SmackDown superstar that could’ve done it. But at the same time, it’ll be like Alexa VS Bayley, teasing that Raw could end up owning both belts. Styles VS Ricochet was great, and Styles’ story with the Club is taking interesting turns. Ricochet VS Styles has to be the US Championship match, I just hope it’s Styles who turns instead of the Club turning on him.

My Score: 8.3/10

Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer VS Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson!

The Beautiful Madness & Dark Angle were still on the winning side last week, though not for lack of trying from Meta Four’s leading ladies. Will the Bougie Bully & Miss Jackson do better now that it’s 2v2? Or will Giulia & Vaquer be the ones putting on the brakes?

The teams sort out and Lash starts against Giulia. The fans rally up as the two step up and talk some trash. Giulia calls for the Test of Strength, but Lash taunts Giulia over her height advantage. So Giulia throws a body shot! Giulia headlocks, Lash powers up and goes to a corner. Giulia goes up and around, but Lash fights off the flying takeover. Lash powers out but Giulia BOOTS her! Lash BOOTS back! The fans fire up, Jakara tags in, and Meta Four gets Giulia up. They double whip, drop toehold, and ELBOW DROP! Jakara runs to basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Giulia is tougher than that but Jakara waistlocks.

Giulia fights up, wrenches and switches, but Jakara victory rolls! Cover, TWO! Jakara hits an arm-drag to a lateral press, TWO! Ghost pin from Giulia, TWO! The two reset and the fans cheer. Giulia then kicks low, whips Jakara to a corner, but runs into a BOOT! Jakara goes up, up and MISSILE DROPKICKS! The fans rally up and Jakara hurries to cover, TWO! Giulia is still tougher than that, but Jakara fireman’s carries. Giulia fights into an IRON OCTOPUS! The fans fire up, Jakara heads for ropes, but Vaquer tags in. The Stardom duo double whip, drop, bypasses, hurdle, drop toehold, and 619! Then SHOTGUN!

The fans fire up as Vaquer & Giulia shake hands to DOUBLE ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Jakara shows she’s tough, too, but Vaquer brings her around. Vaquer whips, Jakara sunset flips, but Vaquer stays up to scrape Jakara’s face! Then she drops a leg, brother! And fans fire up as the headscissors are on! Vaquer DRILLS Jakara into the mat again and again! The fans fire up while Jakara sputters. Vaquer brings Jakara up but Jakara wrenches to JAWBREAKER! Tag to Lash and she CHOPS Vaquer down! Then DECKS her! Giulia is in, IRON- NO, Lash stays up! So Vaquer SUPERKICKS! Lash is still up?!

Vaquer jumps on, but Lash has them both! DOUBLE DRIBBLE in the ropes! Lash drops Vaquer, then swings Giulia away. Tag to Jakara and she hops up onto Lash. META TOWER CROSSBODY! Jakara wipes out Giulia & Vaquer and the fans are thunderous as NXT goes to break.

NXT returns and Lash holds Vaquer up in a suplex! And then she SLAMS Vaquer at the count of ten! Then Lash kips up, tags Jakara, and sits Vaquer up. Jakara clamps on the chinlock, then shifts to a straitjacket stretch. Jakara thrashes Vaquer but Vaquer endures. The fans rally, Vaquer fights up, and Vaquer powers up to spin things around, only for Jakara to spin it right back around! Jakara then ripcords and whips Vaquer to the corner. Vaquer BOOTS Jakara, HEADBUTTS Lash, then goes up and over Jakara! Roll and hot tag to Giulia! The fans fire up as Giulia SHOTGUNS Jakara! Gijuila fires off hands!

Giulia dodges Jakara, HEABUTTS her, but here comes Lash! Giulia dodges Lash to tilt-o-whirl, and DEJA VU SUNSET BOMB! Jakara storms up to fire hands! Jakara suplexes, but Giulia counters with a snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Giulia drags Jakara right up bumps her off buckles, and she tags Vaquer. Vaquer KICKS Jakara in the face, then Giulia runs to BOOT WASH! Giulia feeds Jakara to Vaquer’s SOBAT! Giulia BOOTS, and then they wrench, crisscross, and DOUBLE BACK SUPLEX! Cover, Lash breaks it! Lash talks trash, but Giulia hops on for a SLEEPER! Lash flails, Giulia shifts around, Vaquer SUPERKICKS Lash!

Vaquer hits a CODE BREAKEAR and Lash tumbles out of the ring! Giulia goes to the apron, and she MISSILE DROPKISK! Lash hits steel steps on the way down! But Jakara O’Conner Rolls deep! TWO!! Vaquer runs up, Jakara gets around, but Vaquer switches! Snapmare into buckles, and Giulia tags in. Giulia climbs up to MISSILE DROPKICK! Jakara flounders but Giulia feeds her to the PRIMERA BACKBREAKER! Then Giulia & Vaquer give Jakara a GOLDEN TRIGGER! Cover, Giulia & Vaquer win!

Winners: Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer, by pinfall

Jakara was ready for action but no one could stare down that double barrel and survive! Will Giulia & Vaquer prove together or apart, they are going to run NXT? Blake Howard interviews them in the ring and says they’ve been a great team. But for the next few weeks, they’ll each be in an Iron Survivor Challenge qualifier. The question is: If they both make it to Deadline, what can we expect to see? Giulia says she knew this day would come. Vaquer says, “See you at Deadline.” The amigas area ready to fight it out for the gold, will either of them win that 25 minute marathon?

2024 Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier: Cora Jade VS Sol Ruca!

Speaking of that grueling golden opportunity, #GenerationJade and the Sol Surfer want that first spot! Will Cora prove she’s back and better than ever? Or will Sol finally catch that wave and ride it to the top?

NXT returns and Cora makes her entrance. The bell rings and Cora hops up on a corner as a defense. The fans rally for Sol while Cora pouts. Cora hops down, storms up on Sol, but Sol gets around, tripos Cora, but Cora narrowly avoids the superkick. Sol hops up on a corner to taunt Cora now. The fans fire up, and Cora says clever. Get down! Sol says make her. Cora storms up but sol gets around her again, for a BIG lift and FACEBUSTER! Sol then stands on Cora to surf! The fans cheer as Sol pops ‘n’ locks then hops off, to SUPERKICK! Cora flounders, Sol whips her to ropes, but Cora reverses. Sol holds ropes but Cora SHINING WIZARDS!

The fans boo Cora but she runs to DOUBLE STOMP! Cover, TWO! Sol stays in this and goes to ropes, but Cora storms up. Cora bumps Sol off buckles, then again, then she stomps a mudhole in. The ref counts, Cora lets off, but then she comes back to put Sol on ropes. The fans rally but Cora CHOKES Sol! Cora runs side to side to ELBOW Sol in the back! Cover, TWO! Cora is growing frustrated already but the fans sing for Sol. Cora drags Sol up, but Sol JAWBREAKERS back! Cora wobbles, Sol waistlocks, but Cora bucks the O’Conner. So Sol ROCKS her first! Sol ROUNDHOUSES Cora, then springboards, but Cora trips her up! Sol flops, Cora underhooks, FUTURE- NO, Sol powers out! Sol baits Cora into a corner and Cora hits her knee! SOL SNATCHER!! Cover, Sol wins!

Winner: Sol Ruca, by pinfall (advances to the Iron Survivor Challenge)

Cora was talking a big game, but it all caught up to her! Sol punches her ticket, will she be the one going for gold in 2025?

Je’Von Evans & Cedric Alexander talk backstage.

They just saw as we all did, Sol is the first woman to qualify for Deadline. If Je’Von beats Lexis King, he’s locked in. If Cedric beats Wes Lee, Cedric’s locked in. It’ll be tough, but they’ll LOCK IN~! They head out, and we see Karmen Petrovic talking with Dion Lennox. Karmen shares that her favorite color is yellow, but who doesn’t like yellow? It’s such a nice color. That is, until Ashante THEE Adonis and his yellow beanie had to go and distract her during her match. Uh-huh… Oh, wait, what was the question again? Color. Right, right. Red’s her new favorite color. Cool. Because of that beanie? Yeah.

Brinley Reece walks in and hopes Karmen is not talking about Adonis. No! No no no. Karmen is getting to know Dion. Dion, what else do you wanna know? Uh… Adonis storms in and asks Karmen, “Really?” This is what they’re doing now? With his best friend of all people! Dion says hold on, when were they best friends? Bruh, since last week, remember? Dion says this is just about them getting involved in each other’s matches. Brin says truth. Dion suggests they should try to be a tag team so they can learn to work together. What? Brin likes that idea! Is Dion free next week? Cuz Brin is. Dion says sure, but-

Karmen asks what Brin’s up to. Brin says Karmen knows she wants to. Adonis says Karmen knows she wants to. Karmen tells him not to tell her what to do. Dion is worried already. But the mixed tag challenge is set! Will Adonis & Karmen be a modern Beauty & The Beast? Or is this going to be a more tragic love story?

Ava Raine holds an NXT Tag Team Division meeting.

We have OTM, Hank ‘n’ Tank, Tyson & Tyriek, Myles & Heights, The D’Angelo Family, and even Gallus, all in the boardroom. Ava says she has invited them all here to discuss the state of the tag division. Recently, Fraxiom has been retaining their titles, but she is looking for the next team to step up. Everyone speaks up, but what is Josh Briggs doing here? Ava wants every man in here to show the world what this division is about. They all have the background to succeed. Gallus are former NXT UK & NXT Tag Team Champions. Hank ‘n’ Tank are each D1 NCAA Football standouts. Myles Borne is a D1 NCAA Wrestler and Tavion Heights is an Olympian.

Ty & Ty could shotput cars over the building any day they want. And The D’Angelos… make people disappear. Whoa, whoa, Ava. Allegedly. But Tank says let’s get after it. HONK HONK. Tavion says they’re just teacher’s pets. Lucien Price says he & Bronco Nima will make them think twice about putting two singles guys against the champs. Ty & Ty say don’t talk about what you can’t back up. The teams all bicker but Ava says yes, this is the energy she wants. But don’t tell her, show her! Meeting adjourned. The teams head out, but who heads up the ladder towards the Undeniable Truth & Jersery Island Rocket?

2024 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier: Wes Lee VS Cedric Alexander!

The corrupted Cardiac Kid couldn’t crush Je’Von’s hopes, but maybe he can get some payback taking out “Uncle Ceddy.” Will Wes make Deadline must-see? Or will PRIMED Alexander be locked in?

NXT returns and Cedric makes his entrance. The bell rings and the two circle. They tie up as fans rally, and Cedric shoves Wes down. Wes gets up and Cedric eggs him on. The two reset, tie up, and Cedric again shoves Wes back. Wes is annoyed but Cedric steps right to him. Wes uses ropes as defense so Cedric backs off. The two reset, tie up, but Wes waistlocks, headlocks, and grinds the hold. Cedric powers up but can’t power out. Cedric slips out the back to wrangle Wes with a headlock of his own. Wes fights up to his feet, powers up and puts Cedric on ropes. The ref counts, Wes lets off slowly, and he swings! Cedric dodges to headlock. Cedric hits a takeover, and he grinds Wes down again. Cedric kips up and fires up, and the fans are with him! Wes flounders to the apron, so Cedric goes out to join him!

Cedric catches Wes to an APRON URENAGE! Wes flounders back in, the fans duel, and Cedric lines up the shot. GET OVER HERE! Cover, TWO!! The fans boo the ref but Cedric just goes to a corner. Cedric focuses, runs up, but Wes drop toeholds him into the bare buckle! The fans boo but Wes takes advantage of the situation! METEORA!! Cover, Wes wins!

Winner: Wes Lee, by pinfall (advances to the Iron Survivor Challenge)

The Cardiac Kid is crafty, turning opportunity into victory! Will he do it all over again at Deadline?

Tony D’Angelo enjoys a nice dinner.

He asks if that thing at the docks was handled. All done, boss. Good. But in steps Shawn Spears & Brooks Jensen. The Don sighs and says he doesn’t like this new obsession Spears has. The Chair Man says it is called being persistent. Yeah, persistently annoying. Well, get used to it, Tony. Spears doesn’t care if he’s The Don, it’s Tony’s other title Spears wants. Tony dismisses his men, and Spears says he’s seen all sorts of guys come in here, sit in Tony’s chair, attack Tony, turn the place upside-down. Spears has let Tony’s disrespect slide twice. There will not be a third. Oh, Spears let Tony slide?

Tony will cut to the chase. Spears wants the North American Championship, right? Spears says Tony’s built one hell of a family, especially after winning the title. The family has been motivated to grow, but Spears feels that title will do the same for him. Tony reminds Spears it took him three YEARS and slaying a monster in Oba Femi to get this title. Yes, Tony played Oba. Good for him. Tony’s stronger than ever. Which is why Brooks Jensen is the one to challenge for the belt. Tony says Spears is a weird guy. He wants a title shot for someone else? Why not think for yourself, kid? Why’s Jensen always following someone else?

Jensen gets heated but Spears has him stand down. Spears doesn’t question how The Don does things, so The Don should not question The Chair Man. Tony says it is smart, having the kid fight Spears’ battles. Spears says intelligence only gets us so far. The difference between Spears and everyone else is that he is starving. The most successful people are hungry to be more, to do more, to have more. And the only thing in NXT that will satisfy Spears’ appettite is the North American Championship. Now… thank you for your time. Spears & Jensen head out, but when and where will they get their shot at The Don?

In the parking lot, Spears tells Jensen that is how you deal with the boss. Isn’t that right, Nico? Yes, it is. Wait, who is this now on Spears’ side? Is The Chair Man’s influence growing in the shadows of NXT?

Backstage interview with Kelani Jordan.

Byron Saxton is with The Standout and notes tonight is her rematch for the Women’s North American Championship against Fallon Henley. Her thoughts? Kelani has been waiting for this since Halloween Havoc. The moment that bell rings, Kelani’s right on Fallon. It doesn’t matter if Jacy’s there, if Jazmyn’s there, if they hop on the apron, they can all get it! All she knows is, she’s getting her title back! But speaking of Jacy & Jazmyn, they step in and Jazmyn mockingly asks, “Will you?” Because Kelani is a great athlete and all, but she is not beating Fallon. And if for whatever reason Fallon can’t get it done, Jacy & Jazmyn will make sure she does.

The Fatal Influence heads out, but Kelani says it’s on sight! Will the inaugural Women’s North American Champion become the TWO-TIME champion tonight? Or will she and NXT all be found under the influence?

Trick Williams is here!

The fans fire up as Tricky Two-Time Two-Time is back, and he grabs the mic to echo Booker T. But Trick knows we already know, Philly was crazy last week. With Deadline around the corner, just a reminder, that was when Trick had the Iron Survivor Challenge and things looked real good for Trick Willy. The fans cheer that. But that’s not what Trick is here to talk about. Last week, Trick & Bubba put Ethan Page through a table, but no, that’s not what he is here to talk about, either. Trick is here to talk about Ridge Holland. Ridge pinned Trick and thinks he got one over on him. Newsflash, Ridge: Trick Williams ain’t going out like that!

That is it say, get your punk- Chase U? Andre Chase comes down from the student section to apologize to Trick. Chase has no beef with Trick, but he still has beef with Ridge. Chase ain’t done with Ridge, not by a long shot. The fans cheer that and Trick knows that. After everything Ridge has done to Chase and Chase U, that’s clear. But as Trick thinks about it, even after everything Ridge did to Mr. Chase, Chase is still back on his feet. The fans cheer that. Trick says he hasn’t really known Chase well, but let’s all take a moment to recognize Mr. Chase for everything he’s done. The fans cheer that, and even chant, “Mr. Chase! Mr. Chase!”

Trick says Mr. Chase is a staple here in NXT. He’s done just about everything here. Well, okay, not everything. Trick hates to say it, but Chase ain’t had a shot at this title. So how about this? For one moment only, let’s forget what Ridge has done to Chase, and- Wait, here comes Yorkshire Grit. Ridge will not let this happen! Chase getting an NXT Championship title shot!? And Trick calls himself a champion?! Ridge steps into the ring while fans boo, but Ridge says Trick is just ducking Ridge to face a guy Ridge put in an ambulance! “Professor” needs to learn that Ridge has moved on. And Trick, Ridge made the famous ECW Arena fall dead silent when he pinned Trick!

We all know that Ridge is the biggest threat to the title! Chase says hold on, wait one second! After everything Ridge put Chase U through, Chase wants one more match! The fans cheer that! Ridge says nope. Chase says he’ll put the university on the line! If Ridge wins, it’ll be his! What!? Ridge says he doesn’t care about Chase’s little school. Chase gambled it away, won it back, and then some. The only thing Ridge cares about is the NXT Championship. Trick says hold on, he gets it. Ridge wants a chance at the title, and Chase wants his chance to whoop Ridge’s ass. Trick says here’s an idea: Let’s talk to Ava, and set up Ridge VS Chase! Winner goes on to Deadline!

The fans like the sound of that! Trick says he won’t lie, he’s pulling for Chase. After everything he’s been through and all the hard work, everything he’s overcome, with Chase U STILL here for him, with NXT here for him, that is a connection! A relationship! One with the people, with Duke Hudson, Riley Osborne & Thea Hail! Ridge says fine, he’ll take that. Wait, take what? All that Trick just said. If Ridge beats Chase, Chase’s friendships with Riley, Duke and Thea, it’s ALL GONE. Chase U will be gone, and Ridge will walk right into Deadline to challenge for the title while Chase has NOTHING.

For a man that could never win the big one, that’s quite the gamble, Mr. Chase. What’s he gonna do? The fans boo Ridge’s cruel stakes, and Chase is torn. But Chase says Ridge is on! Next week, Ridge gets an Andre Chase University sized ass whooping! Ridge DECKS Chase! Then he goes for Trick! Trick hits Ridge with a BOOKEND! The fans fire up and spell it out! “C! H! A! S! E! U!” Trick and Chase both stomp it out, and Ridge runs away! But will Ridge do far more than just win a title opportunity next week?

Jaida Parker speaks.

“Okay, Sol, I see you. Congrats, baby, you qualified. But best believe that’s the closest you get to being called the Iron Survivor. Because I know whoever they put in front of me, I will qualify, and I will have my hand raised, just like last week when I smashed that brick on Lola’s skull. So to Sol and whatever three other little ladies end up in that ring with me, it don’t matter if I start, if I come in the middle of the match, or if I’m in last, Jaida Parker is gonna finish it and leave Deadline as THE Iron Survivor. Clock it.”

Josh Briggs speaks with Ava Raine.

Briggs says that during his time in Japan for Pro-Wrestling Noah, Yoshiki Inamura really impressed him. Inamura thanks Josh-san, and says that it is his honor to be part of an NXT show. But wait, Eddie Thorpe barges in. He’s sick of being blown off! First was the stuff with Rhea Ripley, then with last week’s Deadline announcement. He just needs five minutes, please. Ava apologizes to Briggs & Inamura, they leave, and Ava wants Eddie to understand. Eddie says she doesn’t understand. He needs something! Yes, she does understand, which is why he’s in an Iron Survivor Challenge qualifier.

Eddie thanks Ava for this, heads out, but who will the Alpha Wolf have to make it through if he wants that golden ticket?

Adriana Rizzo VS Nikkita Lyons!

The Don has a target on his back, but Big Rizz is dealing with the one put on hers by the Lyoness. Will Rizzo win big for The Family? Or will Lyons’ roar be deafening?

NXT returns and Rizzo makes her entrance. The bell rings and the two run up to tie up. Lyons puts Rizzo on ropes, Rizzo slips away, and Rizzo SLAPS Lyons! The fans fire up but Lyons is pissed! Lyons KICKS Rizzo, puts her on the apron, but Rizzo RAMS in! Rizzo slingshots up and over, but Lyons stays up. Lyons drags Rizzo right up, they fire forearms back and forth, but Rizzo gets the edge! Rizzo rabbit punches, then she shoves Lyons into a corner! Rizzo DROPKCISK Lyons, runs in, but is put back on the apron. Lyons stops the shoulder tackle this time to CLUB Rizzo! Rizzo Rizzo stays up to hit back!

Rizzo climbs, leaps, but Lyons sidesteps! FULL NELSON! Rizzo flails, so Lyons thrashes her against the ropes! The ref reprimands, but Lyons drags Rizzo to center. Rizzo endures as Lyons throws her around more. The fans rally up but Lyons SLAMS Rizzo down! Lyons stalks Rizzo to a corner, taunts her, then RIPCORD SUPLEXES her! Cover, TWO! Rizzo stays in this but Lyons drags her up again. Lyons whips, but Rizzo manages to reverse! Lyions botty bumps in return! Lyons has Rizzo in ropes, then HIP ATTACKS again and again! The fans are torn as Rizzo flops back. Lyons storms back in to cover, TWO!

Lyons stays on Rizzo with a seated full nelson. The fans rally for Rizzo as she endures, but Lyons thrashes her around. Rizzo fights up, the fans rally, but Lyons wrangles her back down. Rizzo keeps fighting, even as Lyons leans on her. Lyons taunts Rizzo but Rizzo is up again! Rizzo powers up to arm-drag free! The fans fire up but Lyons hurries after Rizzo. Rizzo UP KICKS! And then ELBOWS Lyons! Rizzo runs to throw forearm after forearm! Lyons staggers around, Rizzo knocks her over! Rizzo goes to suplex, but that’s too much Lyons to lift! Rizzo dodges a haymaker to springboard CROSSBODY!

The fans fire up as Rizzo kips up! Rizzo roars, runs, and THESZ PRESS! Fast hands rain down, then Rizzo covers, TWO! Lyons stays in this but Rizzo covers again, TWO! Rizzo whips, Lyons reverses. Lyons runs up but into a BOOT! Rizzo goes up, up and leaps, FLYING THESZ PRESS! But Lyons rolls through! HEEL KICK! Rizzo flounders and Lyons goes to the corner. Lyons climbs, roars, and then hits the LYONS ROAR! Cover, Lyons wins!

Winner: Nikkita Lyons, by pinfall

Rizzo put up a fight, but her lionheart could not stop Nikkita’s lion strength! Wait, Rizzo gets the trust crowbar! CLONK! Down goes Lyons! That’s how they do it in the D’Angelo neighborhoods! Rizzo says now they’re even! Will Rizzo let Lyons have this win if it means parting ways?

Andre Chase returns backstage.

And Chase U runs up to ask what the hell! Putting the school on the line? What’s that about? Chase tells Riley & Thea that high risk means high reward. Duke asks how that worked out last time. They’ve had his back through it all, but this is too much! Chase says he appreciates and values their opinions, but Chase U was built on taking risks. Like taking a risk on a smug Aussie when no one else would trust him, and that man became MVP. Or how about a young lady who became a grown-ass woman? Or even a prospect from the UK that now soars with the highest of fliers? Bring it in.

Chase U huddles up, and Mr. Chase says they’ve been through it all, and together. He won’t let anyone or anything break them up. As far as Chase personally, he’s never had an NXT Championship match. Next week, Chase gets that opportunity. And then Chase U will ride the highest of highs, just trust him. Mr. Chase heads out, and Duke says this could end up the lowest of lows. Riley says Chase is gambling with their future, again. Thea is speechless as she shakes her head. But will the gamble pay off? Or will Ridge ruin what little Andre Chase has left?

Zaria speaks.

“Some say I’m a mystery. From where I’m standing, there is no mystery. I’m a fearless warrior, a destructive force, that has come to NXT to rip and tear. Iron Survivor Challenger. Five superstars entrenched in combat to see who is left standing when the clock runs out. My kind of fun. I enjoy inciting chaos. I thrive in carnage! And after Deadline, there will be no more mystery to who is Zaria.” The Agent of Change is ready to earn a spot, will she go all the way to earn a title shot against Roxanne Perez?

2024 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier: Je’Von Evans VS Lexis King!

The Young OG was hoping Unc was gonna make it through, but Wes Lee had different plans. Will Je’Von get even with Wes by also qualifying? Or will the Drama King finally head for the throne of NXT?

NXT returns and Lexis makes his entrance. The bell rings and the two tie up. Lexis rolls Je’Von, ONE, but Je’Von sunset flips! TWO, and Lexis goes for an arm. Lexis wrenches, wristlocks, but Je’Von rolls, kips up, cartwheels, handsprings, and wrenches back to wristlock. Lexis fights up, rolls, cartwheels, then rolls, and KICKS Je’Von! The fans cheer, then things speed up. Lexis drops down, hurdles, but Je’Von leaps over. Then Je’Von springboards to roll Lexis up. TWO, and Lexis dodges. Lexis drops onto the drop down, O’Conner! TWO, and Je’Von trips Lexis! Cover, ONE! Lexis sweeps and covers, ONE!

The two reset and the fans cheer this technical exchange. They tie up. Je’Von headlocks, but Lexis pulls hair a bit. Lexis powers up and out, but Je’Von runs him over. Cover, TWO! Je’Von keeps moving, he handsprings over but Lexis RAMS low. Lexis waistlocks, Je’Von slips around to facelock, then he goes and BOUNCY RANAS! Lexis staggers up into a DROPKICK! Lexis bails out, the fans fire up, and Je’Von builds speed! Je’Von DIVES! Down goes Lexis at the ramp and the fans fire up more! Je’Von puts Lexis in, then springboards, but Lexis ducks under! Lexis wrenches, whips, but Je’Von reverses.

Lexis goes up and over, keeps moving, but Je’Von jumps, just not enough! Lexis accidently gets Je’Von in the OGs. Lexis wants to cover off the mishap, but the good guy in him says no, that’s not fair. Lexis lets Je’Von catch his breath while NXT goes to break.

NXT returns again and Lexis has Je’Von in a HALF CRAB! The fans rally for Je’Von as he endures, and he fights to turn over. Je’Von kicks at Lexis with his free leg, and Lexis staggers back. Je”von swings, Lexis gets around to back supelx. Je’Von lands out to CHOP! And CHOP! And whip! Lexis reverses, Je’Von LARIATS! The fans fir eup as Je’Von rallies with elbows, then goe sMatrix to STUNNER! Je’Von holnds on to then turn and suplex! Kip up and the fans fire up! Je’Von goes to the corner, to the apron, and he springboards back in, FLYING CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Lexis survives but Je’Von stays focused.

Je’Von goes up a corner, takes aim, and he MOON- NO, he has to roll through as Lexis moves! Lexis SUPERKICKS! Cover, TWO!! Je’Von survives that shot and Lexis taunts him, “Who’s the best now?!” Lexis SLAPS Je’Von, so Je’Von SLAPS back! The fans rally as they fire forearms back and forth. Lexis CHOPS, Je’Von SUPER PUNCHES! Lexis BOOTS Je’Von, but Je’Von REBOUND ENZIGIRIS! The fans fire up as Je’Von goes up and up and FIVE STAR FROG SPLASHES!! Cover, TWO!! Je’Von hurries to bring Lexis up! Leixs wrenches, hops on, BACKSTABBER! Then Lexis half nelsons, fisherman, BUSTER!! Cover, TWO!!!

The fans fire up as Je’Von survives! Lexis grows frustrated but the fans love “NXT! NXT!” making this the match. Lexis runs up, into a SUPERKICK from Je’Von! Je’Von goes up, up and SKY TWISTER! Cover, Je’Von wins!

Winner: Je’Von Evans, by pinfall (advances to the Iron Survivor Challenge)

A standing ovation for The Young OG and Drama King, but better than this match is Je’Von showing Lexis respect. Lexis shows it back and the two hug it out. Will Je’Von make sure to bounce his way right to the top of NXT with Deadline?

Nathan Frazer & Axiom are watching backstage.

The NXT Tag Team Champions have to admit, that was good. Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans are the first two into the Iron Survivor Challenge, that match is shaping up. Plus, Ava had her talk with the tag division so- Frazer says that is down the line. Maybe now is a good a time as any to say… Frazer talked with Ava, he’s got a qualifier! Pretty cool, right? Axiom asks, “What?!” Uh, what does he mean, “What?” Frazer’s gonna win his way into the Iron Survivor, win the Iron Survivor, then win the NXT Championship. Axiom can’t believe this is happening again! Every team in NXT is breathing down their neck and Frazer wants to be in the Iron Survivor!?

Frazer wants Axiom to calm down. It’s not like they won’t be working out together. Plus, Axiom has been in that match before, so maybe he could give Frazer some tips. Axiom has a headache. Well, take a deep breath and think about it. Frazer leaves before Axiom can say more, and OTM steps in. His tag partner’s after singles gold now? Is everything good? That doesn’t sit right with Price & Nima. But Stacks & Luca step in to say OTM should mind their own business. Worry about yourselves! Refs hurry in before this goes from arguing to fighting, but will OTM and The Family be first to fight for a title shot?

Adonis and Dion talk backstage.

This Mixed Tag thing… Did Dion tell Karmen about Megan, Kesha and Samantha, did he? No! See? That’s why he’s Adonis’ boy. Oh, so now they’re boys again? Adonis says don’t even worry about that, let’s go. Dion follows Adonis, and Lexis storms in with some frustration. Another loss… But Hank ‘n’ Tank walk over to say Lexis did good out there. Dante Chen walks in, too, and says that was indeed honorable. Lexis chose honor over glory, and that’s what matters. Just keep your head up. Lexis thanks the guys for saying that, but Gallus walks in. Wolfgang says they’re handing out pats on the back for losses now, eh? Pathetic.

With that attitude, Gallus has one less team to worry about. Oh, one less? No, Hank ‘n’ Tank are the team to worry about. They stepped up to The Good Brothers, they can step up to this. Lexis has everyone settle down, but the tag division is at a boiling point. Who gets burned while the other ones head for gold?

NXT Women’s North American Championship: Fallon Henley w/ The Fatal Influence VS Kelani Jordan!

It literally took all three of them to take this title at Halloween Havoc, and it seems Jacy & Jazmyn are more than happy to make it all three of them again to keep it. Will Kelani be able to stand out and take back what was taken from her? Or is there no stopping the Fatal Influence?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see whose influence is stronger!

The bell rings and the two tie up. They go around, end up on ropes, and then end up in a corner. Fallon powers up but Kelani throws her down. They stay tied up, stand again, and now Fallon throws Kelani. The collar ‘n’ elbow is in there tight, and Kelani puts Fallon back on ropes. The ref counts, both women let go, but then they tie up again! Kelani arm-drags, leg sweeps, covers, ONE! Fallon arm-drags, but Kelani avoids a sweep! Fallon CHOPS, but that just pisses Kelani off! The fans rally up while the two argue. Fallon shoves, then dodges to headlock, Kelani powers up and out, CLOBBERS Fallon, and fans fire up again!

Kelani runs up, slingshot arm-drags, then DROP- NO, Fallon dodges! Fallon stands Kelani up to RAM her into the corner! And RAM her again! And again! The ref counts, Fallon stops, and then Fallon whips corner to corner. Kelani goes up but Fallon catches her, only for Kelani to swing and RANA! Fallon staggers up, into a DROPKICK! Fallon bails out, the fans rally for Kelani, and Kelani storms right up to ropes. Fallon moves as Kelani slingshots, so Kelani lands safe on the apron. But Fallon YANKS Kelani down, and SMACKS her off the desk! The fans boo but Kelani blocks the next bump to BACK HAND Fallon!

Kelani hops up onto the desk, to QUEBRADA Fallon down! The fans fire up and Kelani rises again. Kelani vows to get that belt back, and NXT goes to break.

NXT returns and Kelani fights a headlock. Kelani fires body shots, then arm-drags free. Fallon runs up, Kelani dodges and comes back, DOUBLE FACEBUSTERS bring them both down! The fans fire up while both women rise. Fallon ROCKS Kelani, Kelani ROCKS Fallon! Wait, a quick picture in picture shows Ty & Ty are now brawling with Myles & Heights! Forearms and haymakers everywhere, and back in the ring, Kelani has the edge! Kelani whips, then LARIATS! And LARIATS again! Cartwheel and BACK ELBOW! The fans fire up while both women are down, and then Kelani kips up! Jacy is mad but Kelani gets moving!

Kelani hits some ROLLING THUNDER SHOOTING STAR! Cover, TWO! Jacy is furious that Kelani hit that at all, but Kelani puts Fallon in a drop zone. But Fallon YANKS Kelani off the corner! Then Fallon goes up, up, and BLOCKBUSTERS! Fallon keeps moving, FACEBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Kelani toughs it out but Fallon drags her up. Fallon goes to suplex but Kelani RAMS her into a corner! Kelani puts Fallon up top, then she climbs to fire forearms! The fans fire up but Fallon shoves Kelani back. Kelani hurries to GAMANGIRI! Fallon wobbles, Kelani climbs! Kelani has Fallon up top for a SUPER SPANISH FLY! Cover, TWO!!

Fallon survives and Jacy can breathe again. Kelani shrugs it off, goes back up, and she 450- NO, Kelani rolls through as Fallon moves! Fallon then body scissor cradles! TWO!! Kelani escapes, Fallon hurries to her feet. Kelani wrenches Fallon around and around, ANGLE SLAM! Fallon is in a drop zone, Kelani hits the ONE OF A KIND SAULT! Cover, Jacy gives Fallon the ROPEBREAK!! The fans boo, only the ref missed that one! Kelani knows it, too! So she WRECKS Jacy with a dropkick! Jazmyn gets up, Kelani DUMPS her down! And SUPERKICKS! Fallon runs up, Kelani waistlocks! O’Conner Roll, TWO!

Kelani runs into Jacy’s ROLLING ELBOW!! Another cheat! FALLON FAMOUSER!! Cover, Fallon wins!

Winner: Fallon Henley, by pinfall (still NXT Women’s North American Champion)

They warned Kelani and then followed through, ALL THREE Influencers got involved to keep this title from Kelani! And if that’s how they operate, then- Wait, OTM snatch the mics. They tell Frazer, go ahead and try the Iron Survivor, because Price & Nima are gonna take those tag titles! A warning to the rest of this division: They’re not easy to find. Speaking of, Luca & Stacks go right after them! The fans fire up as this brawl happens right by the desk, and Price SLAMS Luca on the desk! But Luca’s right up to throw more hands! Cameramen get knocked over as GALLUS now joins in, incensed by OTM’s words! And here come Hank ‘n’ Tank!

The fans are fired up as the tag division brawls all over the desk and ringside area! Refs and security rush out here but fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” And fight is what they’re all doing! Who rises up from the chaos to go for gold?

My Thoughts:

A great NXT to start towards Deadline, all thriller, no filler. Giulia & Vaquer VS Lash & Jakara was a great opening tag match, but naturally it was Giulia & Vaquer winning. They’re both getting Iron Survivor Challenge qualifiers, so I’m pretty sure they’re both getting in on that match. Great match from Sol and Cora, and it’s actually a little surprising Cora lost. At the same time, Sol’s been the go-to for big matches, she’ll make a solid part of this match. Good promo from Jaida to call Sol and pretty much everyone else out, and it feels like she’s also a shoe-in for entering the match. Then Zaria and her promo, she’s a shoe-in for the fifth, and this is going to be the best Iron Survivor match period.

The men’s match is still shaping up, though, with Wes and Je’Von bringing their grudge into the match. Great matches from Wes VS Cedric and Je’Von VS Lexis, especially with Lexis adding to his Face turn. Refusing to jump on an accidental low blow was a great touch, and I appreciated other superstars, such as past rival, Dante Chen, seeing the change Lexis is trying to make. Briggs bringing in Yoshiki Inamura from NOAH is cool, I’m sure we’ll see great things from Inamura. Eddy Thorpe getting an Iron Survivor qualifier, sadly feels like he might just be putting someone else over but I guess we’ll wait and see.

The D’Angelo Family was really busy tonight. Not only the tag division stuff, but Tony was properly confronted by Spears & Jensen tonight. That was definitely an interesting move for Spears to say Jensen gets the title shot, but obviously that’s because Spears still wants to be THE NXT Champion. And now with this “Nico” guy, Spears’ group could grow into a full faction with even a tag team and a female member to spread across the divisions. Rizzo VS Lyons was a really good match, but of course Lyons won the match for being that much bigger and stronger. Rizzo getting Lyons with the crowbar after was a great touch, though.

Great stuff in the tag division. Fraxiom has dysfunction again as Frazer still wants to try and grab singles gold. This has to be the time that costs them the gold and their friendship, they’ve dragged this out long enough. That tag brawl to end the show was awesome, I wonder if this leads to a gauntlet to win the title match. Or maybe a tournament? We did see teams kinda pair off and pick on each other, so those are easy first round match-ups right there. This can go the three weeks we have left so that it goes from 8 to 4 to 2, the finals being on the go-home and the winners immediately turning around to face Fraxiom on Saturday, December 7th.

Speaking of the closing, very good main event from Kelani and Fallon, but of course Jacy & Jazmyn influence the outcome. This is kind of textbook for any group Jacy’s ever been in, and unless we’re talking Zaria or another powerhouse, I don’t see someone taking this title from the Influence for some time. Well, either that or we get the Face flipside and have women who stick together to counter the Fatal Influence. Maybe Karmen and Brinley can try that, provided this story with Adonis doesn’t tear everyone apart. The Mixed Tag will be a good match, but I feel like Karmen and Adonis will be very dysfunctional and Dion & Brin win.

And really good stuff in this NXT Championship story. Trick wanting to give Chase a match is noble of him, but Ridge does have a point that Chase hasn’t exactly earned it when he always loses “the big one.” Chase putting the university, aka the faction, on the line is definitely big stuff. I can’t believe this could be the end of the honestly most entertaining group in NXT probably ever, a real silver-lining during NXT 2.0 and the nonsense Vince shoved into it. But maybe there will be a new silver lining that, should Chase lose, the members can break out and go for titles on their own, such as Duke for the NXT North American should Spears actually get that title off Tony.

My Score: 8.9/10

WWE celebrates Veterans Day.

Gunther is here!

Grand Rapids is a bit turn seeing Der Ring General head to the ring, World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. Gunther may not be Crown Jewel Champion, but he must still defend his world title at Survivor Series in Vancouver. The fans are torn again between cheers and jeers as Gunther grabs a mic. The fans remind him he lost to Cody, but Gunther starts by saying, “All that matters is, is that I am still the World Heavyweight Champion!” Gunther says he does not live in the past, but he looks to what is in front of him. And next is his challenger, Damian Priest.

There are a lot of things Gunther has to say about Damian Priest. But wait, here comes the man himself! The fans all fire up as The Punisher heads right to the ring, grabs himself a mic, and soaks up the cheering. Priest then tells Gunther not to look surprised. It was advertised to the world that Gunther would talk about Priest, so just say it all to his face. The fans cheer that! Gunther says honestly, look at Priest! His attitude! Priest is and always- Oh, let’s guess: Priest is street trash. He’s a thug, a bum, his parents didn’t care enough to raise him right. He had to scratch and claw and fight just to get here, but Gunther just waited on a phone call.

Priest asks if that covers all the insults. Because what Priests sees is that the first time the two went around, Priest understood the vibe, he got why we feared the unbeatable killer. And for the first time in Priest’s career, he felt doubt. He didn’t know if he could beat Gunther. It sucks to admit that, but it’s the truth. And yet, if not Priest’s so-called brother, that title wouldn’t be around Gunther’s waist. And in fact, the wildest thing about SummerSlam was, when it was over, Gunther becoming champion, his vibe started to fade. Priest sees it now. It faded because Gunther started doubting himself!

Oh, no? That’s not what it is? Gunther was just in Saudi, and the vibe faded more because he got beat by Cody Rhodes. The fans cheer for Priest and Cody while Gunther gets heated. This is what Priest means! Gunther can’t even talk now because he’s full of doubt! Let’s be real. The way Gunther feels now, let’s say why. It’s because Gunther knows he can’t beat Priest! And we know this, we know the killer is dead, is because Gunther would’ve taken a swing by now. Priest offers Gunther to take a swing now. The fans don’t wanna wait, right? The fans fire up for that! Gunther paces but Priest says he won’t take a shot.

Because if Gunther did, Priest would drop his ass right now. The fans fire up but here comes Ludwig Kaiser! He asks what is even going on here! Kaiser tells Priest, “What’re you doing here? Out of everyone in this building, it is you doubting the Ring General?” Does Kaiser have to remind Priest that Gunther beat him once already? Kaiser will give Priest some advice: Get out of this ring right now and save yourself, because the second time Priest faces Gunther, the result will be the same! Gunther will beat him again, because Priest is not even worthy- Gunther stops Kaiser from talking! Gunther tells Kaiser that HE is the problem now.

Kaiser says no! He is not going to let street trash talk to Gunther like that because- Priest DECKS Kaiser! The fans are thunderous, and then Priest LARIATS Kaiser up and out! Gunther backs down! The fans are eating this up as Priest dares Gunther to bring the fight. Gunther backs out of the ring! The fans boo but Priest smirks. Is Priest

Backstage interview with Damage CTRL.

Cathy Kelley is with Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane, and she congratulates Iyo on becoming the #1 contender to the WWE Women’s World Championship. How does she plan on taking down the self-proclaimed greatest women’s champion in WWE? Iyo says she is ready for Riv. Bianca & Jade better save a piece for her. Kairi says they also have other business tonight. Yes, a Six Woman Tag, and the third woman is… DAKOTA KAI! She’s back again! And she missed the team so much. But while she’s happy to be back, she’s pissed at Pure Fusion Collective for taking three MONTHS away from her career. But as long as DMG CTRL is there, no one gets them down!

Not Shayna, not Zoey, and not Sonya. They’re going to remind everyone what DMG CTRL is capable of. Will #CobraKai help the Evil Genius & Pirate Princess put PFC in their place?

Kofi Kingston comes across R-Truth.

They say hey, and Kofi realized he never got to thank Truth for that thing with Final Testament. Kofi also apologizes for the aftermath, because for some strange reason, Xavier Woods didn’t want to get involved. Woods walks in to ask what’s going on. Kofi says they were just talking about how- Pete Dunne barges in? Dunne tells Truth they need to talk. Dunne’s told Truth his name, but every time they cross paths, Truth calls him that name. Oh, sorry, that’s on Truth. What does he want Truth to call him today? Oh, c’mon, that- Kofi asks what’s the issue. Oh, does he want to make this his issue?

Woods says no, this is not their issue so Dunne can handle this. Wait, does Woods talk for Kofi now? Kofi says no, he doesn’t. Well, Woods is actually right, you don’t want this fight. Maybe Kofi does! Let’s settle this in the ring! Because if you have a problem with Truth, you have a problem with Kofi. Woods says he’s out, Dunne says bet, and he’ll meet Kofi in the ring. Truth says this is getting good! And hey, good luck with Pete. Just watch out for Butch. Oh, wait… Truth walks off, grumbling to himself that he messed up again. But will the Bruiserweight be getting himself a win one way or another?

Six Woman Tag: Damage CTRL VS Pure Fusion Collective!

Raw returns and PFC makes their entrance. The trios sort out and Iyo starts against Zoey Stark. They tie up, go around, and Zoey headlocks. Iyo wrenches free to hammerlock, then headlock, but Zoey fires body shots. Zoey whips, Iyo ducks ‘n’ redirects, then rolls off Zoey’s back! The fans fire up as things keep moving, and Zoey avoids the handspring kick! Iyo eggs Zoey on again, but Zoey dodges her dropkick to scuff her face! Zoey back suplexes but Iyo lands out! Zoey dodges with a handspring of her own! Zoey then grabs hair and whips Iyo for a BACKDROP! Zoey flexes, then she kicks Iyo around.

Zoey tags Sonya and then scoops Iyo, BACKBREAKER and NECKBREAKER! The fans boo while Sonya covers, TWO! Iyo is tougher than that buy Sonya taunts DMG CTRL. Sonya snap suplexes Iyo, drags her up, and fires knees. The fans rally but Sonya suplexes again. Iyo slips free, then shoves Sonya to the corner! SHOTEI! Tag to Kairi and she helps Iyo double whip. Dakota’s back and that made all the difference! Will Captain Kick help the team kick it up a notch and take control of the Women’s Division yet again?

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn meet backstage.

They do the handshake! But then Jimmy walks in. What’s Sami’s problem? No problem, no problem. Jimmy’s coming in with the problem. Jey says same page, get right. Sami says it is good to see Jimmy, he looks nice. Nice chain. Jimmy says Sami looks… Ok, see, this is what Sami means. Jey says move on from that, what’s the game plan tonight? Jimmy says they still need a fifth man for WarGames, that’s all. Oh, is Jimmy calling the plays? Yes, dawg. But 5v5, that’s WarGames. Jey says they don’t really have friends on Raw or SmackDown, but there’s gotta be someone. Sami says hold on, he knows someone.

Oh? Who’s he know? Don’t worry about who he knows. Sami will text. Jey says yeet. Sami heads out, Jey tells Jimmy to just be nice. Can the Honorary Uce find an Honorary Honorary Uce to join the fight?

Kofi Kingston w/ Xavier Woods VS Pete Dunne!

Despite what “Quarterback” Woods wanted, Kofi is going to fight on behalf of his friend, R-Truth. Will Kofi make sure the Bruiserweight takes a chill pill? Or will Dunne butcher Kofi for Truth’s mistakes?

Raw returns and Dunne makes his entrance. The bell rings and the fans taunt Dunne with “BUTCH! BUTCH! BUTCH!” Dunne mocks them like he can’t hear them, then circles with Kofi. They tie up, Kofi waistlocks, but Dunne has the ropes. Kofi lets off, but Dunne DECKS him! Dunne chinbars Kofi, claws at Kofi’s face, but the ref counts. Woods is upset, acting like it’s Kofi’s fault in this. Sure, Woods handed Dunne to Kofi on a silver platter, but Woods isn’t respecting the way Kofi wants to do things! The arguing continues even now, how is New Day going to feel going into their ten year anniversary?

Judgment Day hangs out in the clubhouse.

Raquel Rodriguez says she can’t wait to get her hands on Jade & Bianca. Liv Morgan says tonight, they’re gonna have it all! So exciting! But then Finn Balor says the one thing they don’t have is the World Heavyweight Championship. Isn’t that right, Dom? Because after last week, Priest is one win away from being champion again. Thanks, mate. Dom says that wasn’t his fault. No one was watching his back, and Bronson Reed came out to destroy everyone. Where was Finn? Oh, he was being a team player, doing what Liv told him to do, and that was focus on the World Tag Team Championships and The War Raiders.

Besides, didn’t Dom say he could handle Damian all by himself? Yeah, well, Dom beat Priest, and he got a lot closer to the world title than Finn has lately. So Finn shouldn’t get so upset that Dom’s done something he couldn’t. Oh, wanna say that a bit closer, kid? The rest of the team calms these two down, they have to remember they’re family. Oh, Finn is calm. But yeah, Liv is right, they’re family. And family steps up for each other, even when times are tough. So next week, Dom & Carlito should step up for Finn & JD and show The War Raiders what judgment Day is all about. Can they do that for him?

Dom says he’s got Finn’s back. He’ll go make it official. Carlito isn’t so sure, but Dom’s already headed out. Carlito hurries after, and JD says they’ll be fine. Finn says look, one big happy family. But is this Judgment Day about tear itself apart like all forms have since the beginning?

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill speak.

The Storm says, “Since winning these titles, everybody wants to step up and has been stepped on.” The EST says, “And Liv, you might have the gold and Raquel to have your back, but none of that’s gonna matter when you step into the ring because we gonna take you down just like everybody else.” So take your shot, because they return to SmackDown #AndStill the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Will the StrongEST Duo still be this duo when they take on Judgment Day’s bad girls?

Bronson Reed is here!

Grand Rapids is torn seeing The Colossal Aussie making his way to the ring. The fans boo as Reed grabs a mic, and Reed says he’s here tonight to tell Seth Rollins, “You are a hell of a competitor.” Rollins proved so when he won over Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel. But Reed is not a competitor, he is a monster! And last week, he not only took Rollins out, but he took out Priest, Sheamus, and will take out anyone that stands in the way of Reed putting Rollins down, for good! “So Mr. Visionary, Mr. Revolutionary, Mr. Seth Freakin’ Rolins… If you want your revenge, I’m right here in the ring, right now! All you gotta do is-”

“BURN IT DOWN!” The fans fire up as Rollins makes his own entrance! The fans sing along with, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” And Rollins rushes the ring! Rollins dodges Bronson to fire off hands! Rollins runs, but Bronson CLOBBERS Rollins! Rollins bails out, but Bronson goes out to scoop him! Only for Rollins to slip free and POST Bronson! The fans fire up as Rollins clears the desk! But Bronson CLUBS Rollins onto the desk first! Bronson then goes back up onto barriers, just like last week! Fans freak out, but Rollins is up! Rollins LEAPS onto Bronson! They fight in the timekeeper’s area but here comes security!

The fans boo, and chant “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” Bronson fights off the guards to get at Rollins again! They’re in the ring, throwing hands, but then Bronson RAMS Rollins into a corner! Security swarms again and fans boo some more. Rollins still fires hands, the two are separated, but fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHG!” Rollins slips out the back goes from the outside, and he fires hands on Bronson! Security drags Rollins down but Bronson throws off some guards. To then DIVE!! Down goes the guards but Rollins avoided disaster! Rollins fires more shots on Bronson!

Producers and Adam Pearce all rush out here! The Raw General Manager tells Rollins to stop it! Rollins argues, referees anchor Bronson, and clearly, this is FAR from over. When and where will The Visionary and Auszilla settle their score?

Raw returns and…

Rollins is still arguing with Pearce, but Pearce says enough! Rollins says no, he wants this match! He needs this match! He’s explained a million times who he is in his heart, in his soul! Give him the match! Fine, one more time! It happens next week because even Pearce has had enough! Just end it one way or another! Pearce storms off, Sami steps in, and Sami asks if Rollins is good. Rollins says yeah. Sami says he’s gonna ask something, and it’ll sound kinda crazy, just hear him out. They need a fifth man for WarGames. Now look, Sami isn’t dumb, he knows the history of Rollins and Roman. No one knows more about bad blood with The Bloodline than them.

But the whole reason Sami is back, is in this match, is because no matter what, no matter how bad things got, that family bond never goes away. And Sami is sure deep down, that bond between Rollins and Roman, on some level, is still there. Sami has looked up down the roster, both Raw and SmackDown, there’s no one else. It has to be Rollins. Rollins is their fifth man. Rollins thinks on that, and says Sami is out of his damn mind. After everything Rollins went through, everything he sacrificed, to take the tyrant, Roman Reigns, out of power… And now Sami wants Rollins to team with them to build Roman back up? No.

Listen to Rollins. Rollins does know better than anyone who Roman Reigns is, and he is shocked that anyone wants to stand next to him. Especially Sami, after everything Roman put him through. Sami must be blind to how Roman is just using him again. So thanks, and Rollins appreciates Sami, but the answer is no.

Damian Priest VS Ludwig Kaiser!

The Punisher is preparing for another round with Der Ring General, so for the first time 1v1, he’ll be taking on the Impeccable German! Will Priest crush Kaiser before going after Gunther again? Or will Imperium throw away the “street trash” already?

The bell rings and Priest blocks a punch to ROCK Kaiser! Priest puts Kaiser in a corner, ROCK Shim then whips him, then runs corner to corner. Kaiser didges, Priest hits buckles, and then Kaiser POSTS Priest! Priest is stuck in ropes, Kaiser runs to DROPKICK Priest down! Priest flops onto the floor, the fans boo Kaiser, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns and Kaiser headlocks. Priest fires body shots and is free, only for Kaiser to fireman’s carry! ROLLING DEATH VALLEY! Cover, TWO! Kaiser is annoyed with Priest and scuffs him around. Kaiser drags Priest up and reels him in, but Priest fights the suplex! Kaiser still tries, CLUBS away on Priest, then goes again. Priest suplexes first! BROKEN ARROW! The fans fire up while both men are down! Priest huffs ‘n’ puffs as he rises up again! The fans fire up as Priest ROCKS Kaiser, KOCKS him again, but Kaiser dodges the next! Kaiser runs, but into a FLAPJACK! Priest winds up, and he KCISK! KICKS! KICSK! Then ROLLING ELBOW!

Priest winds up again, and ROCKS Kaiser again! Priest whips Kaiser to a corner, runs corner to corner, and he ELBOWS Kaiser! Then FLATLINER! Cover, TWO! Kaiser stays in this but Priest smirks. The fans rally up, and Priest brings Kaiser around. Priest reels Kaiser in, lift shim up to a Canadian Rack, but Kaiser slips free! Kaiser BOOTS from ropes, then CHOPS! Priest sputters a moment, but he just comes back with anger in his eyes! Priest kicks, Kaiser ducks and rolls, TWO! Kaiser runs to PENALTY KCIK! Cover, TWO! Kaiser grows frustrated but the fans boo while he paces around Priest.

Kaiser drags Priest up, clinches, SIDE- NO, Priest slips free to BELL CLAP! And SUPERKICK! The fans fire up and Priest powers up. Priest runs, to COMEBACKER LARIAT! The straps come down and the fans fire up! Kaiser stands into the choke grip, and the SOUTH OF HEAVEN!! Cover, Priest wins!

Winner: Damian Priest, by pinfall

The lieutenant is taken out, and now Priest is rolling towards Der Ring General! Speaking of, Gunther watches from the stage. Is Priest right? Has doubt taken hold of Gunther’s mind?

Backstage interview with Bron Breakker.

Cathy Kelley is with the WWE Intercontinental Champion and brings up how he didn’t quite advance in the current WWE Speed tournament, as his match with Sheamus was a time limit draw. Bron says he’s at an interesting point in his career. He is looking to expand the trophy case. Naturally, being the fastest superstar in WWE today, the WWE Speed Championship interests him. He’d be here with two titles on his shoulders right now, if not for that ugly idiot bonehead, Sheamus, for getting in his way. Speaking of, here’s The Fella now! Sheamus says he couldn’t help but hear from Bron that Sheamus is an ugly idiot bonehead.

Well, Bron has a lot of arrogance. Bit disrespectful since Sheamus has been here 15 years and Bron’s been here 15 minutes. But Sheamus gets it. Bron is on top of the world, momentum on his side, and it’s a lot like Sheamus. Sheamus was one of the fastest to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion ever. Sheamus put his foot on John Cena’s throat. Now that was arrogance. Just like Bron. But Sheamus will say: Does Bron have a “set of tires” big enough to put up the one title that has eluded Sheamus his entire career? Bron chuckles and says he did not listen to a word Sheamus just said.

But if Sheamus wants to fight for this title, then the answer is yes, fella! Bron would love nothing more than to kick Sheamus’ old ass. Sheamus will explain: his old ass is still going, and better than ever. So do him a favor, “kid,” and shine up the belt real nice. Because Sheamus is taking it home next week. Sheamus leaves, will he finally complete WWE’s ultimate slam? Wait, Jimmy steps in? Jimmy asks if Bron has a second to talk. Okay, he’s got a second. Is #BigJim really thinking Badass Bron is going to help them fight The Bloodline?

The Final Testament find The Miz!

Karrion Kross is overly dramatic as he says, “Thank God you’re alive!” But what happened? Miz says he’s had enough. He’s going to Pearce’s office to ask for a leave of absence. Miz is done. Oh, Miz is done? He wants to go home? Well he’s not going home because he’s given Kross NOTHING on the Wyatts! No information! No locations! Where are they? He’s just randomly back? Miz says this is bigger than any of them! He has to think about himself and his family. He settled his business with The Wyatts. Miz apologized and vowed to change his ways, and they let him go. And honestly, he is a better man now.

The Wyatts moved on, Miz moved on, so Karrion… You need to move on. MOVE ON!? Is Paul Ellering supposed to move on!? Miz has the nerve to mention family, but Ellering is KROSS’s family! The Wyatts attacked Ellering and it is Miz’s fault. Hey, remember when Kross promised to break Miz’s legs? Boys, grab him. Akam & Rezar grab Miz and Kross says they need to remind everyone what happens, live on TV! They’re headed to gorilla, then on stage! The fans freak out as The Final Testament drags Miz to the ring! They put Miz in the ring, Kross says Miz is lying! Miz’s story doesn’t add up. Miz pleads with Kross, but Kross SHOVES him back down!

Kross asks where The Wyatts are! Well, they’re HERE~! The lights are coming down and Miz is terrified. The piano plays, the fireflies come out, and Grand Rapids fires up again! Miz disappears, and The Wyatts are in his place! The fans cheer as Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy steps in, followed by Gacy, Lumis, Rowan & Nikki. Then The Miz HITS Rowan with a chair?! So much for being a better person. But Bo just laughs it all off? The brawl is on! Miz SMACKS Rowan again while Kross fires off on Bo and Lumis & Gacy brawl with the Authors of Pain! Scarlett has Nikki on the apron, then THRWOS her down! Miz SMACKS Rowan again!

The AOP give Lumis & Gacy the SUPER COLLIDER!! But Bo has the MANDIBLE CLAW on Kross! AOP saves Kross, Miz hits a FULL METAL FINALE on Rowan!! Kross gives Bo the FINAL PRAYER!! The fans boo as The Final Testament stands over The Wyatts, and Kross hugs Miz! They mastermind this entire trap, and the fans chant “Miz You Suck!” The Final Testament & Miz leave, but Bo slowly sits up. Kross can’t believe it, but Bo is laughing again! Will Uncle Howdy make sure Kross pays for his sins?

Backstage interview with Seth Rollins.

Cathy Kelley catches up to Rollins on his way out and wants to ask about how he has his match with Bronson. How does he plan on keeping the monster down this time? Hold on one minute, Cathy. Rollins looks over, and it’s SOLO SIKOA! He and his Bloodline are here, and Solo says bring it in, Uce. Solo knows Rollins doesn’t like Roman, and Solo can’t stand Roman. So why don’t they join forces to take Roman out? Rollins laughs, Solo takes that as a good sign. Rollins says he and Solo haven’t always gotten along, but here’s a little secret, something Rollins didn’t tell Sami when he refused to join Sami’s team.

The next time Rollins is in the ring with Roman, it is to stomp his head into the ground. Never again in Rollins’ life will he team with Roman Reigns. But Rollins will never join forces with a wannabe Roman Reigns. Jacob Fatu gets heated but Solo has him stand down. Rollins leaves for the night, he’s no one’s fifth man. But will it even matter if Bronson breaks him once and for all next Monday?

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill VS Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez!

The StrongEST Duo could’ve started on their two woman power trip if not for lil’ Liv & Big Mami Cool screwing them out of the battle royal last week. Will Bianca & Jade make Judgment Day pay by denying them these titles? Or will it be Liv & Raquel looking to stack titles on top of titles?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who really runs the show!

Liv runs up on Bianca at the bell, but Bianca hits a SPINEBUSTER! Bianca rains down fists, but Liv turns it around to give those back. Bianca turns it back around, Liv gets loose, but Bianca DROPKICKS her down! Bianca kips up, runs up and RAMS Liv in again and again! The ref counts, Bianca whips corner to corner, then runs in. Liv dodges and Bianca POSTS herself! Liv runs back up to SLAP Bianca down! Liv stomps away, the ref counts, and Liv stops at 4. Liv runs back in, but Bianca ALLEY-OOPS Liv onto buckles! Liv sputters, Bianca climbs up, and Bianca rains down fists! Raquel runs up but Bianca fights her off!

The fans boo but Liv YANKIS Bianca down by the braid! The ref reprimands both Liv & Raquel but then Jade runs over! YOINK and Jade DECKS Raquel! Liv WRECKS Jade with a dropkick! Liv laughs, but Bianca is out there! Liv dodges, Jade & Bianca almost hit each other! Raquel CLOBBERS Jade! Bianca ROCKS Raquel, but Liv MISSILE DROPKICKS Bianca! All four women are down on the outside, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns, Raquel and Bianca crawl, hot tags to Jade and Liv! Jade rallies on Liv with big forearms, then a SPINEBUSTER! The fans fire up with Jade, and she runs to ELBOW Liv in a corner! Raquel is back but Jade scoops her! Jade SLAMS Raquel, but Liv CHOP BLOCKS Jade! Liv runs, but into a scoop and torture rack! Jade brings Liv around for the SWINGING WHEELBARROW FACEBUSTER! Cover, Raquel breaks it! Raquel ELBOWS Bianca down from the apron, then drags Liv to safety. Raquel tags back in, and she storms up on Jade. The fans fir eup as Jade dodges, and DOUBLE BOOTS take both women down!

The fans fire up while Jade and Raquel stir, but wait! Nia Jax & Tiffany Stratton are here! Tiff distracts teh ref while Nia drags Jade out of the ring! APRON SAMOAN DROP! The WWE Women’s Champion helps out one enemy to screw another! Raquel with the VADER ELBOW DROP! Cover, Bianca breaks it! Tiff wants to distract the ref again, but now NAOMI is here! Naomi YANKS Tiff down, then RAMS her into barriers! But Nia runs uP! Naomi sends her into barriers! Liv hits a BACKSTABBER on Naomi! Liv hurries to tag in, and she climbs up a corner! FLYING CODE- SUPERKICK! Jade tags Bianca and then SUPERKICKS Raquel!

Bianca sets Liv up, torture rack and KISS OF DEATH!! Cover, StrongEST Duo wins!!

Winners: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill, by pinfall (still WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions)

But then Nia CLOBBERS everyone! Naomi runs up, Nia CLOBBERS her, too! The Irresistible Force has trucked the Big 3, but wait! Iyo Sky is here! ROUNDHOUSE on Nia! Iyo springboards to MISSILE DROPKICK Nia away! The Evil Genius then dodges tiff to SHOTEI! And wheelbarrow, victory roll, STOMP 182! The Evil Genius roars, but so does Raquel! Iyo dodges Raquel, Jade & Bianca DOUBLE LARIAT her out! Nia fireman’s carries Iyo, but Naomi BOOTS Nia first! Iyo gives Nia a BUZZSAW! The StrongEST Duo DOUBLE SUPLEX Nia! Th efans are thunderous as Iyo and the Big 3 stand tall! Will these four soon be the champions of WWE?

My Thoughts:

A great Raw here, with them quickly shifting gears towards WarGames. Maybe a little too quickly in the Women’s WarGames given it’s coming together right here at the end in the main event spot. But at the same time, they’re quite cleverly just using what they built going into Crown Jewel and bridging it to the next event. Great tag title match, though rather quick and with a lot of overbooking to get it done before the 10 PM Eastern hard cut. Jade & Bianca of course retain, but with Naomi going after Nia’s title and Iyo going after Liv’s title, we got some very natural alliances made here. I imagine Bayley and Candice will be the fifth woman for each team, given their part in the ongoing Nia VS Naomi story.

Though, that technically means this will be a very SmackDown heavy Survivor Series in terms of the WarGames. Because duh, the Men’s WarGames is Bloodline: Civil War, and Bloodline has been a predominantly SmackDown centric story this year. It’s only until Jey left Bloodline and struck out on his own that Raw got included in the overall story. And it seems they really are sticking to 5v5 so that there’s drama for the sake of drama. Jimmy was certainly thinking outside the box asking Bron Breakker, but that’s gonna be a no, nothing is in it for Bron. Also good promo from Bron and Sheamus, with a surprising use of WWE Speed as part of story. Bron VS Sheamus is of course going to be a banger, but it just doesn’t feel like where Sheamus finally wins the Intercontinental Championship.

Sami Zayn wanting it to be Seth Rollins is a surprising option, but a logical one after what Sami said tonight. Rollins had a good promo with Sami and with Solo to turn them both down, but it feels like there’s a chance we circle back around to Rollins as the fifth man. I still feel Solo’s side should bringing in Hikuleo, but it would be a much more “shocking” moment if Rollins gave in and made amends with Roman. Making amends seems to be a theme they’re going for, at least, so going for this reconciliation of The Shield fits. That “wannabe Roman” line is really gonna stick in Solo’s mind, too, so you can bet his side goes after Rollins and compels him to join Roman.

Meanwhile, great to see Dakota back, DMG CTRL got a great win of PFC. There was nothing here tonight but should there be a Women’s Intercontinental Championship made, Dakota and Kairi each have a fair chance of winning it. At this rate, PFC do not. Great promo from Truth, Dunne and New Day, followed by great match from Dunne VS Kofi. Woods’ cheating was a very clever way for Kofi to lose while adding even more dysfunction between New Day. Very good promo to add dysfunction into The Judgment Day, too, with a lot of passive aggressiveness between Finn and Dom. Nice Easter egg that JD was simulating Finn & JD VS War Raiders in WWE2K. Pretty sure the faction falls apart when Finn & JD lose to Erik & Ivar.

Speaking of all that, Priest had a very good promo with Gunther to revisit last time and then flip it around. Also, wild to think that was only three months ago with SummerSlam. But great stuff where now even Gunther and Kaiser are at odds, and Gunther is perhaps intimidated by Priest after all. Great win for Priest over Kaiser, and who knows how the title match for Survivor Series go. I won’t say we’re booked into a corner, but it’d be kinda wild for Priest to take this title back after only those three months and for Gunther to more or less fall off from being top Intercontinental Champion of all time.

The Wyatt Sicks6 and Final Testament had a great segment, though it maybe took some time away from the women’s tag title match. Miz with the swerve on the Wyatts was really well done, and was the blood coming from the corner of his eye also planned? That was an interesting touch if so. But clearly, here’s our 8 Man Tag after all, with Miz embracing the darkest parts of his Heel persona. Plus, Bo actually creeping Kross out with how he laughed off the pain was great. I can’t wait to see where this goes.

My Score: 8.9/10
