The Bollywood Boyz VS Ever-Rise!
Samir and Sunil Singh just want to be buddies with their fellow 205 Live OG, but for Chase Parker and Matt Marthel, it’s all about business. Will Parker and Marthel be on the business end of a beating courtesy of your BOLLY BOLLY BOLLY…wood boys?
The Singh Cam Mk. II makes its debut and it is a big upgrade from the original! They make sure to get a shot of commentary, to Vic Joseph’s chagrin. Ever-Rise make their entrance to ruin the fun, and the ref keeps the peace as the teams stare down and talk trash. But then it fires off with the bell and it’s a brawl! Marthel throws Samir out on one end and Parker has Sunil on the other as they club the brothers down! Marthel lets off on Samir but Parker and Sunil trade hands. Marthel hits Samir more while Sunil and Parker get in the ring. Parker avoids the elbow drop to then CLOBBER Sunil back!
Parker wrenches Sunil’s arm, tags in Marthel, and Marthel takes the handoff to have a cording hold. Marthel taunts Sunil and slaps him around, then tag to Parker. Ever-Rise double wrench, double shoulder, and then double fist drop! Cover, ONE! Parker scowls as he stomps Sunil and wrenches again. Parker clamps on to the arm, Sunil reaches but Marthel taunts Samir from across the way. Sunil moves around and then goes around and around and around, and tags in Samir! Sunil whips Parker into Samir but Parker hits him down! Parker goes after Sunil but Samir trips him up! Marthel protests but the Bollywood Boyz mug Parker!
Sami swivels hips, stomps Parker then bumps him off buckles. Tag to Sunil and the Bollywood Boyz stomps a mudhole in! Another tag, more stomping, then another tag. The stomp cycle continues, and now Sunil swivels the hips. Tag to Samir, the brothers coordinate and double suplex Parker down! Cover, TWO! Samir clamps onto Parker with a chinlock but Parker endures. Parker fights up, fights back, but gets put back in the corner. Tag to Sunil and the Singh brothers mug Parker. Sunil bumps Parker off buckles, CHOPS him, but Parker CHOPS back! More CHOPS fly and Sunil snapmares Parker to put on another chinlock.
Parker endures as Sunil thrashes around. Sunil grinds down on the hold with some leverage, but Parker fights up. Sunil wrangles Parker back down, fans cheer, and Sunil cranks hard on the hold again. Marthel rallies for Parker but he’s the only one. Parker fights up, arm-drags free and runs into a WINDMILL KICK! Cover, TWO! The Bollywood Boyz are frustrated, Samir tags in and he goes up. Samir leaps but Parker moves, the flying elbow hits Sunil! Parker hurries but Samir becomes a backpack and wraps on a sleeper! but Parker rams Samir into buckles! Tag to Marthel and he rallies with CHOPS! Marthel whips corner to corner hard, then whips him again for a dropkick!
Marthel tags in Parker and Ever-Rise works together to whip Parker in for a forearm! Samir flounders, Marthel is the step stool, BOOYAH Elbow Drop! Direct hit, Parker drags Samir over and tags in Marthel. Ever-Rise hoist Samir up for a FRENCH CONNECTION double buckle flapjack! Cover, Ever-Rise wins!
Winner: Ever-Rise, by pinfall
Parker and Marthel get back on track, because “EVER-RISE RULES!” But will they rule the tag team division in and out of the Cruiserweight Division?
205 Live shares footage from before NXT this past Wednesday.
The Lonestar, Curt Stallion, was walking into the Capitol Wrestling Center ready to compete on NXT for the first time, and he was looking forward to it. But then El Legado had to start trouble and attack him! They threw him into the steel doors HARD, and then Escobar loomed over him. “So much for your debut.” Well, this explains why Damian Priest had to step in on Wednesday. Will Stallion rebound in tonight’s main event?
Curt Stallion VS Ariya Daivari!
In a way, the Lonestar owes the Persian Lion a debt of gratitude. If it weren’t for that Daivari Dinero Division debacle where Stallion got screwed out of $10,000, he might not be poised for a Cruiserweight Championship battle with Santos Escobar. Will Stallion “repay” the 205 Live OG with interest?
The bell rings and the two circle. Fans rally for Stallion as he and Daivari approach. Daivari backs off but circles with Stallion again. They tie up, Daivari gets the wrist and wrenches, then yanks on the arm. Daivari wristlocks again but Stallion spins and slips through to put the wristlock on Daivari! Daivari goes to punch but Stallion cranks on the hold. Daivari rolls, wrenches and snapmares to then drop a knee on the arm! Stallion gets to the corner and Daivari taunts Stallion that fans are cheering, he can’t let them down. Stallion and Daivari tie up, Stallion lifts Daivari up but Daivari sunset flips, TWO!
Daivari stomps Stallion in the corner, throws hands, but lets off as the ref counts. Daivari swings a chop but Stallion dodges to CHOP back! And CHOPS again! Daivari staggers about, Stallion throws European Uppercuts! Stallion whips, Daivari holds ropes and bails out, only for Stallion to follow! Stallion HEADBUTTS Daivari into the desk! Stallion shakes out the stars and he bumps Daivari right off the 205 Live log! And then he throws Daivari into boards! The ring count is 6 but Stallion puts Daivari in. Stallion whips, Daivari sunsets but Stallion rolls through to DOUBLE STOMP Daivari down!
Stallion hurries up top, but Daivari bails out. Stallion hops down, and then DIVES, but Daivari sends him into boards!! Daivari gets up and leaves Stallion for dead! The ref checks, somehow Stallion is okay so the ring count starts. The count climbs and reaches 5 and only now is Stallion stirring. The count is 7, then 8! Stallion drags up and flounders, and is in at 9.9!! Daivari is furious and he stomps away on Stallion at the ropes! The ref reprimands and Daivari lets off and fans chant, “You Still Suck!” Daivari throws Stallion through ropes, turns him, and DRAPING NECKBREAKERS! Cover, TWO!!! Stallion still lives!
Daivari keeps his cool as he sits Stallion up to drive in elbows! Daivari clamps on a chinlock, Stallion endures but Daivari rains down rights! Daivari clamps on another chinlock and grinds Stallion down. Stallion fights up, throws body shots, but Daivari throws haymakers! Stallion throws then back! Stallion whips, Daivari reverses and Stallion hits buckles hard! Daivari then full nelsons Stallion, just to spin him around for a reverse DDT! Cover, TWO! Stallion survives again and Daivari grows frustrated. Fans rally for Stallion but Daivari drags him up. Daivari bumps Stallion off buckles, whips him corner to corner then fires off haymakers!
Daivari whips Stallion the other way, Stallion BOOTS him and then throws haymakers of his own! Daivari kicks low, throws more hands, then reels Stallion in for another neckbreaker! Cover, TWO!! Stallion survives but Daivari turns him for a CAMEL CLUTCH! Daivari cranks back on the neck but Stallion endures as fans rally. Stallion fights up, throws body shots but Daivari throws haymakers. Stallion throws forearms back but so does Daivari and it’s a brawl! They go back and forth, then CHOPS start flying! Stallion gets the edge but Daivari kicks low to CHOP again! Daivari whips, Stallion dodges and DOUBLE CROSSBODIES COLLIDE! Fans fire up as both men are down!
The ref checks but both men are okay to continue. Daivari sits up first but Stallion follows. Stallion counter punches Daivari, Daivari shoves but Stallion dodges to mule kick, front kick and ROLLING ELBOW! Stallion whips Daivari to a corner and BOOTS him! Then Stallion sweeps the legs, KNEES him down, then runs corner to corner to HESITATION DROPKICK! Fans fire up as Stallion stomps the feet, and reels Daivari in for the DDT! Cover, TWO!! Daivari survives but Stallion covers again, TWO! Stallion keeps his cool as he goes to the corner and climbs up top. Fans rally, Stallion aims, but Daivari uses the ropes to trip him up!
Stallion tumbles down and Daivari brings him up! Daivari hammerlocks, but Stallion ducks the lariat to roll him up! TWO, and Daivari hits a URENAGE! Cover, TWO! Daivari seethes as he looms over Stallion. Daivari drags Stallion up, back suplexes, but Stallion lands on his feet! Daivari bucks the roll off and SUPERKICKS! Stallion wobbles, Daivari reels him in but Stallion counters to an Alabama lift, REVERSE NECKBREAKER! Stallion flounders his way to a corner, climbs up top, and FROG SPLASHES! Cover, TWO!! Daivari survives Stallion’s take on one of his favorites, but Stallion stands back up.
Stallion heads to Daivari but Daivari puts him on the apron. Daivari slowly gets up, shakes out the cobwebs, but Stallion grabs Daivari! Daivari resists the suplex, and another, to hotshot Stallion down! Then Daivari runs to dropkick Stallion off the apron! Daivari puts Stallion in fast, climbs up top, LION SPLASH! But Stallion moves and Daivari FLOPS! Stallion runs in, LEAPING HEADBUTT! Cover, Stallion wins!
Winner: Curt Stallion, by pinfall
Stallion fought through the pain and it paid off! He builds momentum at Daivari’s expense, but will he cash in big against Santos Escobar?
My Thoughts:
A pretty good episode for 205 Live, though I wish we’d gotten that explanation about Stallion on NXT. Maybe just no time for it on Wednesday? The tag match went rather quick, but a part of me thinks Samir was actually a bit rocked at a certain point so they wrapped it up quick. Ever-Rise gets a good win, but their main story is going to be on NXT right now, since they got involved with Grizzled Young Veterans and Imperium. And to be fair, the Cruiserweight tag teams need to be more involved with the NXT Tag Division anyway. After all, the current NXT Tag Team Champions, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, were mainstays of 205 Live for a good portion of the brand’s build, they definitely can and should mix it up on both shows after the UE story wraps.
Stallion VS Daivari had a really good match, surprised it wasn’t with Joaquin Wilde given the story, but there was still story with Daivari, too. Also Wilde got wrecked on NXT by Damian Priest so it’d make sense if he needed more time to recover. Maybe with the Cruiserweight title not part of TakeOver: WarGames this Sunday, Stallion has a match with Wilde as a go-home to his match with Escobar. To be fair, that means Stallion needs to get on NXT with next Wednesday so people who don’t watch 205 Live finally understand who he is.
My Score: 8.1/10

OFFICIAL RESULTS
- 2025 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: ??? wins.
- WWE Tag Team Championships: The Street Profits VS Motor City Machine Guns; win and
PLAY BY PLAY
WrestleMania SmackDown’s going commercial free for the first hour!
Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga pull into the parking lot.
Solo lets his Right Hand Man handle the bags, but LA KNIGHT ATTACKS! The Mega Star goes after Tama, SMACKS him off some other car, and then SLAMS the door shut on Tama’s hand! Knight gets away before Solo returns, is the WWE US Champion making sure Jacob Fatu can’t stack the deck here in Las Vegas?
Seth Rollins is here!
The Visionary surprises Las Vegas as he’s already here ahead of WrestleMania! Rollins struts his way out in a black ‘n’ white tuxedo with golden roses painted on it, and the fans sing along, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” as he goes to the ring. Rollins revels in the cheers before grabbing a mic. The singing continues, and Rollins tells Las Vegas, “It ain’t Monday, it’s Friday, but I thin it still works. Welcome to Friday Night Rollins~!” The fans cheer and Rollins says he is our host! He is a Visionary, he is a Revolutionary, he is SETH! FREAKIN’! ROLLINS! The fans cheer, and Rollins looks to the WrestleMania sign.
The singing returns, but there are also chants of “C M PUNK! C M PUNK!” Rollins decides to reference said CM Punk by sitting cross-legged in the middle of the ring! Rollins even tosses the mic sleeve aside, but now the fans chant for “O T C! O T C!” Rollins says we’ll get to him in a minute. Let’s start with that guy who they were chanting for first. The fans chant “C M PUNK!” again, and Rollins says yes, that’s the reason that guy came back to wrestling, right? Because all the fans chanted his name for ten long years! That’s why Punk came back, right? Except, when CM Punk came back to the ring, it wasn’t a WWE ring.
So did Punk came back because the fans were chanting his name? Or because someone wrote him a big fat check? Rollins says when Punk burned that bridge, like he does every other bridge, Punk did finally come back to the WWE. But was it because of the fans chanting his name? No. It was because they wrote him another big fat check. Some fans actually chant, “BIG FAT CHECK! BIG FAT CHECK!” Rollins adds, “Tell me when I’m tellin’ lies. CM Punk likes to pretend he came back for all of you. CM Punk doesn’t care about you. CM Punk doesn’t care about the WWE. He’s a liar, he’s a fraud, he’s a coward…
“And say what you will about Roman Reigns, Mr. OTC…” The fans chant for “O T C! O T C!” and Rollins says Roman doesn’t even pretend to care about the fans! Roman doesn’t even pretend to care about the WWE! And you can believe that. The OTC only cares about the OTC. Roman Reigns is in the Roman Reigns business. Mr. Private Jet, Mr. Limited Schedule, Mr. Handpicked Opponents. The fans sing “Roman! Roman Reigns~!” Rollins says yes, Roman loves that. He loves when you love him. But Roman knows nothing of sacrifice. Punk knows nothing of sacrifice. Rollins knows EVERYTHING about sacrifice!
But funny enough, this story all started 12 years ago, all with Paul Heyman. That’s the truth. Heyman brought Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose into the WWE to be a shield for CM Punk. Every single night, Rollins sacrificed everything he had in this ring to be that shield. Did he get any of the credit? Absolutely not. “Everyone in the back” wanted the cameras and spotlight on Roman Reigns. It was always about Roman Reigns! Roman Reigns was the next John Cena! Roman Reigns was the next cash cow! Look at Roman, put the spotlight on him! Every single year, this went along.
And in the background, after CM Punk had gone away, taken his ball and gone home, Rollins heard little echoes of “C M Punk” chants. Meanwhile, Rollins was making every show, in the ring every night, sacrificing everything that he had! The fans do cheer that, and Rollins says it all came to a head last year, in the main event of WrestleMania, a knee hanging on by a threat, Rollins’ stepdad at home, dying of cancer… But Rollins was there at the very end to be a shield to make sure Roman Reigns LOST! The fans do cheer that, too! They even chant, “Thank You, Seth!” and sing, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” Rollins soaks it all in before continuing.
“This story between us started 12 years ago, when Paul Heyman brought myself and Roman Reigns into the WWE. And it ends tomorrow night, in the most important Triple Threat match in the history of this industry. And I promise you, I will do exactly what I have done for the past 12 years. I will lay it all on the line. I will sacrifice everything that I have to make sure that this business, this company, this industry, moves forward in the right direction. That’s not a prediction, that’s a spoiler. HAHAHAHAHAHA~!” Rollins has issued his mission statement. Will the Architect finish the story that he’s been writing for over a decade now?
2025 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal!
The tradition to honor the Eighth Wonder of the World continues! Who will make it through the star-studded field to immortalize themselves on the giant trophy?
