It’s the Revolution Buy-In!

Sting’s return is nostalgic, historic, and shocking! He saw something of himself in Darby Allin, but why is he in AEW? Sting did not leave under his own terms a few too many times, and he won’t do that ever again. Darby doesn’t just remind Sting of himself with the paint, but the aura and the way he thinks. Team Taz thinks Darby is obsessed with Taz, but it has been the other way this whole time. Team Taz claims their number game is playing fair, but Sting and Darby having baseball bats and skateboards is dirty. So to get dirty, it’s going to be a STREET FIGHT! There’s respect but no fear here. “It’s all about survival.” Who survives when civility is thrown to the curb and the only rule is to win?

Aneki was on the edge of retirement when AEW Double or Nothing 2019 called to her. First wrestling for AEW left her wanting to come back for more. She has won the Women’s Title Eliminator Tournament, and she won’t let this chance pass her by. With a reinvigorated passion, she won the Japanese Bracket by beating one of her greatest rivals in Aja Kong, and then she brought all that emotion and tension to win the whole thing against Nyla Rose. Hikaru Shida remembers first meeting Mizunami in 2010, and her bragging that even if Shida wrestled for 100 years, she could never beat Mizunami. They’ve faced off three times, and have gone to DRAWS three times!

But now, 11 years later, we’ll see if someone can finally win! Mizunami didn’t retire all so she could beat Shida! Shida has been a fighting champion for half a year now, and has built a bridge between Japan and the world, and vows to be the one to cross it! Will Shida prove she’s the best Women’s Champion in the WORLD?! Or will she have to admit Aneki is still too great.

Young Bucks and two singles wrestlers as a team? “Here we go again.” Revolution 2020 was the Bucks VS Hangman & Omega, and the Bucks lost. Is that in the back of their minds? Of course! They don’t want to repeat history. They’ve changed tag team wrestling in the world, but took longer than expected to get the AEW World Tag Team Championships. It felt a lot like the independents in some ways. But after what Y2MJF have down to them and their family, “two egomaniacs who think they can do whatever they want,” the Bucks are sick of it. Is the bond of Y2MJF real? Who knows. What hasn’t Jericho done? What can’t Jericho be? But then there’s MJF, “a piece of shit.”

Jericho sings the praises of MJF, who is only 24 and is already a top name in pro-wrestling. MJF has only done that after being on TV for just over a year! But they’re so alike, will that only cause them to break apart? The Bucks say this could’ve just been standard pro-wrestling war of words, but Y2MJF went and made it personal. Attacking their friends, attacking them, attacking their FATHER, Y2MJF have gone too far! MJF asks if there is a right and wrong when it comes to winning. That move alone will do damage to the Bucks more than any wrestling move could. But will this emotional attack only motivate the Bucks to go from beating to hurting Y2MJF?

Big Money Matt was upset that he couldn’t outsmart the Cowboy, and now is trying to make him pay for it! But a win and a loss aren’t just on the line, a massive amount of revenue is, too! The loser’s 2021 first quarter financial earnings will be given to the winner! Hardy threatens to hurt Hangman Page both directly and indirectly, but will Hardy morally bankrupt himself first?

To be the Face of the Revolution, you have to take risks. And there’s little riskier in wrestling than a Ladder match! But the reward is worth the risk, because only one can go after the TNT Championship! It is just as important to AEW as the world title is, because of the Open Challenge legacy and the memory of Brodie Lee. Every man has something to prove, from Scorpio Sky wanting his breakthrough, Cody Rhodes who wants to recapture former glory, to Platinum Max Caster wanting to prove the worth he already feels he has, to Lance Archer wanting what should’ve been his all along, to Pentagon showing what Cero Miedo is truly about! But there is a wild card left to be revealed! Who will lead the way as the Face of the Revolution?

“You can only roll the dice so many times.” Moxley knew something would happen at some point. As many challengers as he took on in 2020, he knew he’d get caught up. But the way for it to happen just left a bad taste in his mouth. Don Callis says those who live moment to moment can’t understand how he and Kenny Omega planned this out. This wasn’t just a few weeks or a few years. This was all being worked towards for 27 YEARS! The Invisible Hand has guided Omega from the shadows, and so the “insects” are of course unable to grasp this. There’s no such thing as family in the business, but there is between Callis and Omega.

Callis and Omega think on another level. Callis’ plan has made Omega the Michael Jordan of wrestling, as he should be! And the Good Brothers are his powerful back-up. Moxley doesn’t care if it’s AEW, NJPW, Impact, everyone’s trying to take him out. Good luck, because you’re not the first, and won’t be the last. Callis says Moxley is a cockroach, but this Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch will be his extermination! Moxley and Omega have already raised the bar on intensity and violence, but this is a legendarily lethal stipulation! And Omega says it will be so humiliating for Moxley to look himself in the mirror and say that not only couldn’t he outwrestle Omega, but outdo him in something right up his alley!

Moxley knows this is all designed to destroy him, but it is his responsibility to take Omega out. If this is the end, then Moxley can’t think of a better way to go. Will barbed wires, explosions, and whatever the hell else these two bring to the fight be enough to end it?

The former NWA Women’s World Champion teams with the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion to silence a common enemy! But will the Dentist and her assistant be the ones smiling at the end of this kickoff?

Britt has a mic but no Rebel? It seems she’s excused her sidekick from this match because of the “brutal” attack from Nyla Rose! But Tony Khan and Britt got a second opinion, and Rebel hobbles out with a crutch! Rebel can’t compete, so Britt has a replacement! This is the perfect substitute for tonight, it’s… MAKI ITOH!! The Cutest in the World, the Fired Idol, has joined Britt in battle! But will Itoh-chan outshine even the Face of the AEW Women’s Division?

The teams sort out and Riho starts with Britt. they tie up, go around, Britt spins Riho to full nelson and snapmare, but Riho turns that around to a wristlock. Britt gets up, wrenches and snapmares but Riho slips back out to the wristlock! Britt throws body shots, gets to ropes and steps through. The ref counts, Riho lets go at 4, and fans boo as Britt takes a second to shake her arm out. Britt returns, kicks Riho low, then throws forearms. Britt whips, Riho handsprings through and dropkicks Britt down! Things speed up, Riho dropkicks again! Riho whips Britt, Britt reverses but Riho tilt-o-whirls to headscissor Britt down!

Riho drags Britt up, brings her over, but Britt gets away. Rosa and Itoh tag in and fans are fired up! Rosa isn’t amused by Itoh’s double dirty birds, but they tie up. Rosa waistlocks, Itoh pries free and wrenches to a hammerlock. Itoh headlocks, fans rally for Rosa and she gets an arm to drag Itoh down. Rosa flips Britt off as she puts Itoh in a facelock. Itoh switches, headlocks, but Rosa powers out. Itoh rams Rosa but Rosa stays up and flexes. Itoh runs but Rosa rams her! Itoh gets frustrated but she throws forearms, Rosa forearms back! Dysfunction in the Inner Circle may have cost them Sammy Guevara, but somehow, someway, the combination of Chris Jericho & MJF came out as THE team to face the champions! Will Matt & Nick make the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla and Salt of the Earth regret thinking they could ever be a better tag team?

Fans sing Judas for Jericho, the introductions are made, and the belts are raised. Teams sort out, and the Revolution begins with gold!

Jericho and Nick start and Nick tackles Jericho to rain down fists! MJF gets in but Matt tackles him! The Bucks rain down fists but Y2MJF run away! Matt clubs MJF, throws haymakers, and Nick does the same to Jericho! They brawl and Jericho tries to flee into the crowd of wrestlers! Nick drags him back and ROCKS him with rights! Matt ROCKS MJF, MJF rakes Matt’s eyes! Jericho whips Nick into railing, MJF does the same to Matt on the other side! They trade dance partners to whip the Bucks into each other! Fans boo but Jericho CLUBS Matt and MJF rakes Nick’s eyes! Y2MJF put the Bucks in the ring but then the Bucks run to DIVE! They take Y2MJF down and fire off hands!

Matt and Nick put Y2MJF in, then shoulder into them to slingshot and double sunset flip, to DOUBLE SHARPSHOOTERS! Y2MJF endure, and grab each other’s hands to stop them from tapping out! Matt rallies on the challengers and fires off endless haymakers and CHOPS on MJF! Matt fakes MJF out to hit a DDT! MJF says he’s hurt, Matt runs but Wardlow dumps him out! Jericho snap suplexes Matt, Wardlow BOOTS him down! Fans boo as Wardlow gets away with that. Jericho mockingly claps for Matt and MJF stands on Matt’s hand. MJF talks trash to fans then stomps Matt’s arm! MJF struts around then clubs Matt. MJF chokes Matt, tags Jericho, and Y2MJF mug Matt. Matt narrowly escapes but he ‘s put on the apron. Matt aims but Wardlow distracts so Jericho can use FLOYD THE BAT! MJF hits the HEATSEEKER!! Cover, TWO!?!? Y2MJF can’t believe Matt survives but the fans are thunderous! MJF drags Matt up, bumps him off Jericho’s boot, then tags Jericho in. Y2MJF mug Matt, then shout at him to stay down. Speaking of, two teams will start this match, and every 90 seconds, a new team will be thrown in at random. A team is only eliminated when both members are gone, so even one person left could win it for their partner! The first two teams are… Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall, the Natural Nightmares, and The Dark Order’s 5 and 10, Alan Angels & Preston Vance! But will either of these two teams be standing at the end of it all?

The bell rings and the clock is counting! The Nightmare Family and Dark Order have buried the hatchet, but then QT ROCKS Vance! Angels ROCKS QT and Dustin CHOPS away on Vance! They brawl, Vance CHOPS Dustin, Angels KICKS away on QT! QT turns things around to ROCK Angels while Dustin whips Vance. Vance goes up and over and builds speed, into Dustin’s POWERSLAM! Dustin kicks, but Vance sees the uppercut coming and BOOTS him away! Angels rains down five fists but QT puts him in the apron! QT BOOTS Vance but Angels KICKS QT! Angels slingshots for a CODE BREAKER, then SHOTGUN FALL AWAY SLAMS with Vance! MOONSAULT onto QT!

Fans fire up but Dustin DOUBLE BULLDOGS the Dark Order! The countdown is done and out come… PROUD ‘N’ POWERFUL, Santana & Ortiz! And they rush the ring to rally on the Nightmares! They kick and chop and CHOP! QT comes back to ROCK Santana while Ortiz stomps the Dark Order. Santana fireman’s carries QT, Ortiz joins in, NECKBREAKER DEATH VALLEY! PNP get Angels but he escapes the double team. He throws kicks, dodges Santana and ENZIGURIS! Angels keeps moving but Ortiz follows, only for Vance to BOOT Ortiz! Ortiz is on ropes, Angels runs to CROSSBODY him against them!

QT gives Angels a CUTTER! And then throws and ELIMINATES Angels! But then Vance throws QT over! QT holds on, the countdown is done and next is… The Sydal Brothers! Matt & Mike BOOT PNP, slingshot in and Mike dropkicks! Mike enziguris Santana for Matt’s FLYING METEORA! The Sydals fire up and go Matrix to avoid Vance! Colten dropkicks Uno, Austin hits the QUICK DRAW on Stu! Vance SEPARS Austin, Matt fires off on Colten! Ortiz whips Mike Sydal out, Santana BOOTS him down! The Sydal Brothers are DONE! PNP go after the Nightmares, the Dark Order go after whoever else, and the countdown is done again. The next team in is… Cezar Bononi & “Pretty” Peter Avalon!

The Pretty Boys run in and rally on the Gunn Brothers! Then they ROCK Uno! Avalon is fired up but Bononi did most of the damage. Avalon jawbreakers and enziguris Austin, then Bononi scoops and SLAMS Colten for Avalon’s basement dropkick! Avalon keeps on Austin while Bononi bumps Colten. QT saves Dustin from PNP and throws uppercuts. Uno and Vance go after Ortiz, Dustin CLAWS Bononi’s back! Bononi throws haymakers in return, Uno and Vance scoop Ortiz. The countdown finishes and the next team is… the Varsity Blondes! Griff Garrison & Brian Pillman Jr. hit whoever, and they CHOP and SPLASH Bononi! They double suplex, but he double suplexes them right back!

Coltsen powers Bononi to a corner. Austin gives Avalon a FAMOUSER! Then Austin ELIMINATES Avalon! He and Colten celebrate bot Bononi goes after them! Bononi whips, Austin dodges and clips Bononi’s leg! Colten hits a FAMOUSER! The Gunn Brothers get Bononi, but QT DUMPS the Gunns out?! The Gunns are DONE, but Dustin says the Nightmare Family was supposed to work together! QT gets mad at Dustin and he ELIMINATES himself!? What is going on with QT?! But the countdown is done and out comes BEAR COUNTRY! Bronson & Boulder storm in and spin BPJ for a SPINEBUSTER! Griff gets a kick and Uno is scooped, for the POWERBOMB POWERSLAM COMBO! Fans fire up for Bear Country as they roar!

The Bears go after Stu but he DOUBLE PELES! Stu tries to torture rack Boulder?! He gets him up bot Bronson saves his partner! Boulder BOOTS, and throws Stu out to ELIMINATE him! Dustin attacks Bronson, Boulder digs knees into Griff! Vance CHOPS Bononi, Griff goes after Dustin. The countdown is done and the next team is… Jurassic Express! Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus get in, JB RAANAS Ortiz then dropkicks Santana! Luchasaurus DOUBLE CHOKE SLAMS the Blondes’! The Dark Order go after Luchasaurus, Santana and Ortiz give JB the back suplex, but JB double headscissors them! JB clotheslines and ELIMINATES Ortiz!!

Bononi DECKS JB, but he turns around into Luchasaurus’ TAIL WHIP! Luchasaurus clotheslines and ELIMINATES Bononi, the Pretty Boys are DONE! Griff fires off on Luchasaurus but Luchasaurus tosses him to ELIMINATE him! Santana goes after JB but JB body scissors and ELIMINATES him! PNP are DONE! Uno runs in but is put on the apron! Stunt helps out to RANA Uno into a post and ELIMINATE him! But the countdown finishes, here comes The Butcher & The Blade! The wolves are ready to hunt and they hit Vance and BPJ! Vance fires back but BPJ gets ELIMINATED! No more Blondes, and then JACK EVANS helps ELIMINATE Vance?! No more Dark Order at this point!

The Bears, the wolves, Dustin and Jurassic Express are still battling! Boulder throws Dustin out but he survives! Dustin hits back but Blade & Butcher are after him! Dustin holds on, throws hands, but they club him down! Bunny Allie helps out and they ELIMINATE Dustin! No more Natural Nightmares! But here comes PRIVATE PARTY! Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy have new gear to go with their new attitude thanks to Matt Hardy. They go after JB, JB rocks Kassidy but Quen throw shim out! JB slingshots in, rebounds but misses, the Party mug him with DOUBLE ENZIGURIS! Quen stomps Boulder, Kassidy is after JB but Luchasaurus CLUBS Quen.

Butcher & Blade focus on Bronson, Private Party is after JB, but JB holds on with help from Stunt! The countdown is done again, and here comes SCU~! Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels take the fight to Private Party! They double hip toss and POWERBOMB NECKBREAKER to Kassidy! Bronson attacks back but Kaz ROCKS him, SCU hits a HIGH LOW! SCU CHOPS Luchasaurus and double whip, but Luchasaurus fights them off! HEADBUTTS all around, then a double choke grip! but SCU slip out of the slams, Bear Country work together to ELIMINATE Luchasaurus! But then Butcher dumps and ELIMINATES Bear Country!!

But the Bears drag Butcher out to mug him! They put Butcher back in for Daniels to go after, and the next team is… DEATH TRIANGLE!! PAC & Rey Fenix rush in, Blade gets a BOOT and a FOREARM! Everyone gets SUPERKICKS and DROPKICKS! They each throw out one, Quen and Blade are ELIMINATED! Butcher LCOBBERS Death Triangle but SCU goes after Butcher! SCU tries to throw Butcher out but Butcher fights them off. Daniels BOOTS Butcher, Kaz ROCKS Pac, Fenix runs in to fire hands with Daniels! STO for Fenix! Daniels throws Fenix to ropes but Fenix goes Spider-Man! The countdown is done and in comes… the last of the Dark Order!

Alex Reynolds & John Silver fire up and fire off on SCU! Silver BOOTS Daniels at the ropes, then torture racks for the TOWER HACKER BOMB! Reynolds gets JB to TOMBSTONE him onto Daniels! The Dark Order give Quen a combo then the DARK DESTROYER! They whip Kassidy out and ELIMINATE him! Butcher CLOBBERS the Dark Order, but SCU dumps him out and ELIMINATES him! No more Fam! SCU, Death Triangle, Dark Order, and JB alone all brawl! JB ends up in a 2v1 for that reason while Fenix takes it to Daniels and CHOPS him! Fenix knuckle locks, CHOPS, and goes up, up and Daniels trips him, only for Fenix to body scissor and ELIMINATE Daniels!

Reynolds puts JB on the apron but JB drags him out to join him! They brawl, Reynolds BOOTS JB but JB pops Reynolds up an dover a post to ELIMINATE him! Pac ROCKS Kaz, Kaz throws hands back! They brawl, Kaz mule kicks but Pac gets around to back suplex Kaz up and out! SCU is DONE!! Death Triangle stands together while Silver and JB are left for their teams. And the brawl is on again! Fenix CLUBS JB down, Silver ROCKS Pac. Fenix uses a camel clutch to grind JB down then throws him out, but JB holds on! Silver fights back as Pac puts him on the apron, and he enziguris Pac down! Fenix ROCKS Silver but he holds on for dear life!

JB whips Fenix, Fenix reverses but JB dodges the sobat! JB dumps Fenix out but he lands on the apron to enziguri JB away! Fans rally up for all these fan favorites as Silver and Pac fires off forearms! They go back and forth, over and over, and Silver KICKS and KICKS and KICKS! And KICKS, KICKS, KICKS! Silver runs, but Pac dodges to SNAP GERMAN! Pac whips, Silver reveres but Pac reverses back! Silver clings to the ropes! Pac runs, but Silver BOOTS him! Fenix tightrope walks and KICKS Silver to ELIMINATE him! NO MORE DARK ORDER!! And now Death Triangle stand together against JB!

Fans rally for JB but Fenix and Pac mug him! JB tries to fight back but Pac back kicks, front kicks and back kicks again. JB avoids the dropkick and dumps Pac out to ELIMINATE him!! Things have changed and now JB stands with the Firebird! Fans are thunderous as these two CHOP back and forth! CHOP for CHOP for CHOP but JB gets the edge! JB kicks, hops up and spins to body scissor and arm-drag! JB keeps moving but he slides out the bottom. Fenix DIVES through the middle! Fenix almost breaks his own ass on the railing!

Fenix puts JB in and the refs argue what was top and what was middle! Fenix is still in this, and he springboards, into JB’s SUPERKICK! JB whips, Fenix reverses, JB REBOUND LARIATS! JB hits a POISON RANA!! Fans are fired up as JB gets Fenix up and throws him, but Fenix goes Spider-Man to HEEL KICK! Fenix clotheslines JB out and ELIMINATES him!! Death Triangle wins!!

The Full Metal Warrior has been waiting for this moment, but so has Aneki! Mizunami won the Women’s Title Eliminator Tournament, but will she win the title? Or will Hikaru Shida break the streak of draws to win 100 years earlier than Mizunami’s claim?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and this rivalry turned Revolution begins!

Shida and Ryo stare down as fans rally up. Shida offers a handshake, Ryo takes it, but Shida is ready for the forearm this time! Ryo respects that and the two circle. They tie up, Ryo powers Shida back but Shida waistlocks then headlocks. Ryo switches, Shida powers out but Ryo runs her over! Shida kips up and Ryo likes that. Shida speeds up, redirects and comes back, but Ryo runs her over! Ryo fires up and so do the fans as she runs in to forearm Shida in the corner! Ryo CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS, and machine gun CHOPS! Kojima would be proud! Ryo powers up but Shida turns things around to bump her off buckles!

Shida fires off machine gun forearms! Shida powers up but Ryo puts Shida in the corner to CHOP and CHOP again! Another round of machine gun chops, and Ryo lets off to power up and do a dance, to CHOP again! Fans fire up, Ryo powers up and does her pantomime, but Shida hits a RANA! Shida smirks as she goes back to whip Ryo corner to corner. Shida runs in and KNEES Ryo down! Shida puts Ryo on the apron and CLUBS her, then gets space to run in and KNEE her back in! Fans fire up with Shida, Ryo staggers around but Shida gets a chair! Shida stands the chair up, runs in and launches, but Ryo blocks the knee to TOSS Shida into the crowd of wrestlers!

Ryo swaggers about while the ref checks on Shida. Shida drags herself up and Ryo drags her back to ringside. Ryo puts Shida in, and drops a leg to the back! But Shida powers up to try a stretch muffler, only for Ryo to FAMOUSER! Ryo runs to drop a leg, brother! And another, brother! And a third, BROTHER! Cover, TWO! Ryo pulls Shida into the half camel clutch! Shida endures, moves around and gets a ropebreak! Ryo stomps Shida, drags Shida up, but Shida thrwos forearms! Ryo swings but Shida spins her, but Ryo blocks the hip toss! Ryo kicks low, whips Shida corner to corner, but Shida goes up to mule kick and KNEE back!

Shida climbs, headscissors and hits DEADLY NIGHTSHADE! Shida climbs again, Ryo stands, Shida missile dropkicks Ryo down! Cover, TWO! Shida grits her teeth, drags Ryo up and reels her in. Ryo blocks the suplex, throws forearms, and runs in to clothesline Shida to the ramp! Shida gets up, KICKS Ryo back, and then bumps Ryo off buckles! Shida climbs up, brings Ryo up, but Ryo resists Shida’s suplex! Shida hops down to throw forearms, then fireman’s carries, but Ryo slips around! Shida blocks the sunset flip to CRUNCHIE Ryo to the ramp!! Fans chant “Holy Shida!” as the champ leaves challenger behind!

The ring count gets to 5 of 10 but Ryo crawls over. Shida is there to leap up and drag Ryo to the corner, DEAD LIFT SUPERPLEX!! Cover, TWO!! Ryo is still in this and Shida is furious! Shida toys with Ryo a bit, but Ryo gets fired up! Ryo stands and forearms away on Shida! Shida takes it to DECK Ryo with one! Shida drags Ryo back up but Ryo double clutches the arms for a HEADBUTT! And another! Machine gun headbutts?! Shida ROCKS Ryo, Ryo CHOPS and LARIATS! And then LARIATS again!! Ryo runs to LARIAT a third time! Ryo fireman’s carries to hit a DEATH VALLEY PILEDRIVER! Cover, TWO?!? Shida survives and Ryo is furious!

Ryo drags Shida up, reels her into another fireman’s carry, but Shida slips off to roll and ROCK her! Shida runs to TAMASHI!! But Ryo is right up to LARIAT again!! But Shida is right up to TAMASHI AGAIN!! Both women are down and fans are thunderous! Fans rally as a standing count begins, but it’s not until 5 that either stirs. Ryo and Shida crawl for each other at 7, and they sit up. The count is done, Shida throws a forearm but Ryo returns it! They both grin as they keep throwing BIG forearm shots! Ryo eggs Shida on and Shida ROCKS her again! Ryo forearms, Shida forearms and Shida gets the edge, only for Ryo to ROCK Shida again!

Ryo keeps hitting, she powers up and Shida wobbles and falls! Ryo drags Shida up again, and clinches for an URENAGE EXPLODER! Shida stands up and Ryo SPEARS! Ryo fires up again, and she goes to the corner! Ryo climbs up, takes aim, and hits the SUPER LEG DROP!! Cover, TWO!?!? Shida survives and Ryo is beside herself! Fans again chant “Holy Shida!” but Ryo drags her up. Ryo brings Shida up to scoop, but Shida victory rolls the driver away! Shida can’t hold the cover and Ryo gets to a corner. Fans rally and duel, Ryo runs but into Shida’s knee and enziguri! Shida tries the suplex, Ryo slips out but into a STRAITJACKET GERMAN! But Ryo is right up, to BLINDSIDE LARIAT!!

Fans fire up again as Ryo drags Shida, but Shida hits a FALCON ARROW!! Shida can’t cover but she kips up and runs, to TAMA- NO! Ryo blocks but Shida knees and ROCKS and BLINDSIDE TAMASHIS! Then the FALCON ARROW!! Cover, TWO!?!? Shida keeps moving, but Ryo LARIATS her again! Both women go to opposite corners, run at each other, but the KNEE hits first! Ryo staggers up and Shida runs in to get around the lariat, and eye poke! INSIDE CRADLE, TWO!! TAMASHI! But Ryo cradle counters the cover?! TWO!! Shida ENZIGURIS Ryo! Cover, TWO!! Fans are thunderous, “This is Awesome!”

Shida drags Ryo up, reels her back in, to suplex and SIDE SLAM! Shida wants one more, and gets another TAMASHI!! Cover, TWO?!?!? How is Ryo doing this!? Shida “draws her sword,” to SPINNING KNEE! High stack cover, Shida wins!!

Shida finally defeats one of her greatest rivals and retains the title! But Nyla Rose runs in to attack! Vickie Guerrero laughs as Nyla stomps Ryo, too! But Shida attacks Nyla back! Shida and Ryo stand united against Nyla but here come Britt and Itoh! They attack Shida and Ryo! Rebel gets in with the crutch but Nyla stands in Britt’s way. Nyla laughs, she’ll allow this. They’re ready for their battle with Miro and Kip Sabian, but they go after them first! Kip slams Cassidy on a road case, and Miro SMASHES Chuck’s face into GLASS!! “Play my music!”

Miro & Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford VS Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy!

The Best Man drags the Kentucky Gentleman out to the ring, forcing him to have this match on Miro’s schedule! Chuck is bleeding from getting glass to the face, and Kip talks trash as Miro throws Chuck’s denim jacket away. They throw Chuck into the ring and Miro gets a mic to egg “Charles” on. Chuck has a way out of this but he keeps saying no! Miro could’ve brought Chuck with him to the moon, but Chuck keeps saying no! Miro can make this stop if Chuck just says the words. Chuck asks Miro to wait, and Miro sits him up. Chuck says, “Ring the damn bell!” And then he SLAPS Miro! The bell rings, and Miro CLOBBERS Chuck!

Miro puts Chuck in the corner, he stomps away on Chuck, then reels him in to CLOBBER him again! Miro is furious as he rains down rights on Chuck’s bloody wound! The ref reprimands and Miro lets off, and he enjoys having Chuck’s blood on him. Tag to Sabian, and he springboards into missile dropkick Chuck down! Sabian taunts Chuck, bumps him off buckles and stomps away! The ref counts, Sabian lets off, and Miro talks more trash. “You had a chance!” Sabian digs his knee into Chuck, tags Miro in, and Miro chokes Sabian! The ref counts, Miro lets off at 4, then seethes as he ROCKS Chuck with a haymaker! And then stomps away on Chuck in the corner!

Tag to Sabian, and Sabian runs corner to corner to dropkick Chuck down! Chuck is bloody, but he BOOTS Sabian back! Sabian is steamed, but he runs into the SEXY CHUCKIE KNEE! Chuck reaches but there’s no one to tag after what happened to Cassidy! Fans rally, but here comes Cassidy! Sore as he is, and as slow as he is before, Cassidy ends up crawling on the stage. Miro heads that way, but the Sloth was playing possum! ORANGE PUNCH for Miro! Chuck DECKS Sabian, and tags in Cassidy! Cassidy fires up to run in, but Sabian avoids the punch! Cassidy standing switches and DIVES! Direct hit into railing, then Cassidy puts Sabian in for the DEEP IMPACT FLYING DDT! Cover, TWO!!

Fans rally for Cassidy as he drags Sabian back up. Alabama lift but the back denies the rest! Sabian ROCKS and pop-up KNEES Cassidy, to the GUTBUSTER DROP! Sabian seethes then PENALTY KICKS! Cover, TWO!! Cassidy survives but Sabian hits the FISHERMAN BUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Miro slowly rises on the outside but Sabian drags Cassidy up. Fans rally as Sabian gets Cassidy up for a torture rack! Cassidy lands on his feet out of the flip, Chuck tags in and Cassidy tilt-o-whirl DDT’s! Sabian staggers and Cassidy gets Sabian up. Chuck climbs, STRONG ZERO, BEACH BREAK STYLE!! And then the AWFUL WAFFLE!! Cover, but Miro breaks it in time!

Fans boo as Miro gets up, but Cassidy stares him down! Penelope distracts the ref, Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets! Miro laughs at the shin kick attack! Penelope keeps distracting the ref over Kip, but then Cassidy dodges! ORANGE- NO! ROUNDHOUSE! Miro suplexes but gets STUN-DO GMILLIONAIRE! Penelope will not leave the re falone and Cassidy hits an ORANGE PUNCH! Miro stumbles, Penelope is in Orange’s way! Miro shoves Cassidy into Penelope?! Miro doesn’t even care, he ROUNDHOUSES Cassidy, and scoops him for a BEST SLAM!  Chuck BOOTS Miro but Miro CLOBBERS Chuck! The ref warns Miro that he isn’t legal!

Miro throws Sabian in, tags in, but Chuck gets a cradle! TWO!! ROUNDHOUSE for Chuck! And the BEST KICK! Miro shouts and stomps Chuck, for GAME OVER!! Chuck taps, Miro and Sabian win!!

Hangman storms up to kick Hardy and then TOSS him over the railing!

Hangman hops the rail, brings Hardy up and hits a SNAKE EYES On the next rail! Hangman climbs the guard rail to LEAP and hit a double ax handle! Hardy is down but fans fire up for Hangman! Hangman bounces off buckles and hits the mat while Hardy soaks up the heat. Hardy taunts Hangman, CHOPS him, then whips him corner to corner. Hangman comes back to ELBOW Hardy down! Hangman uses ax handles and a whip, but Hardy reveres. Hangman gets around to ROCK Hardy, but that was the bad hand! Hardy ELBOWS Hardy, and hits a modified NECKBREAKER! Fans rally up as Hardy goes to the corner and climbs up. Hardy powers up too long and Hangman goes up to clinch! Hardy fights with body shots, slips under to CLUB Hangman, then drags Hangman into the crucifix for a SIT-OUT RAZOR’S EDGE! Cover, TWO!! Fans rally and duel, but Hardy calls for his shot! Hangman slowly rises, Hardy kicks but Hangman blocks and spins! Hardy blocks the lariat to kick again, but no Twist! Alabama to the DEADEYE!! But Isiah Kassidy distracts the ref! Quen is also there and he’s calling to Hardy! Hangman runs Kassidy off but sees Quen. Quen gets away, too, and Hardy rises.

Hangman goes to Hardy, but Hardy swings on him. Hangman dodges to DECK Hardy! Kassidy gets in, Hangman CLOBBERS him! Hangman BOOTS Quen, then DIVES to take Kassidy out! Slingshot, into a SIDE EFFECT!! And TWIST OF FATE!! Cover, TWO!?! Hangman survives and shocks Hardy! Hardy tells Quen to go up top, but here comes the DARK ORDER! They rush Private Party! They keep Hardy’s party down, Hangman BOOTS Hardy, but is put on the apron! The Dark Order is there to catch Hangman when he falls! BUCK SHOT!!! Cover, Hangman wins!!

The American Nightmare was the first to hold the TNT Champion, but that doesn’t mean he’s the one who represents the revolution that is AEW. Will Cero Miedo, SCU’s Closer, Platinum Max or the Murderhawk Monster take the brass ring into their own hands? But wait, who is the mysterious sixth entry? It’s #AllEgo, ETHAN PAGE!! Will Ethan make the biggest impact in his debut?

The bell rings, everyone is wary of everyone else, but Archer and Cody go after each other! Scorpio is after Ethan while Penta chases Caster! Ethan stomps Scorpio, chokes him, then lets off. Archer digs his boot into Cody, Ethan stomps Scorpio and Caster stomps Penta. Ethan throws Scorpio into railing, Penta turns things around on Caster and POSTS him! Archer CLOBBERS Cody  out of the ring, then goes out to CLUB him! Archer bumps Cody off the stage floor, Scorpio throws hands on Ethan. Ethan ROCKS Scorpio, Penta KICKS Caster’s leg! Archer has a ladder and he RAMS Cody in the bad shoulder! And then TOSSES the ladder at Scorpio and Ethan!!

Archer goes out to throw Penta around and BOOTS Caster down! Archer goes back to the ring, stands the ladder up just to RAM it into Penta! And RAM it again! And then Ethan, and then Penta again! Archer stands the ladder up but Penta SUPERKICKS It into him! And then hits a SLINGBLADE with the ladder included! Penta has the ladder now and he runs at Scorpio! Scorpio gets around to GERMAN SUPLEX Penta and ladder away! Caster gets in, blocks the German to arm-drag and dropkick Scorpio! Fans boo as Caster calls for reinforcements! Jack Evans has the boombox, but Vance gets out there to SPINEBUSTER Evans on the ramp! That’s payback for Dynamite!

Vance leaves Evans down but Caster still gets the boombox, Cody hits a DISASTER KICK! Ethan stands the ladder up! Ethan climbs, Cody chases after! Archer pushes the ladder, choke grips Cody and Ethan but Cody kicks and Rhodes uppercuts! Ethan BOOTS Archer, he and Cody whip Archer into the ladder! Cody shakes hands with Ethan but Ethan kicks him low! Ethan RAMS Cody with the ladder! Caster uses the boombox to SMACK Ethan! And BASH Scorpio! Caster goes out to SMACK Cody with the boombox! And then LEAPS to SMASH it down on Cody’s bad arm! Penta returns to the ring slowly and he has the ladder to himself.

But Penta sees targets on the outside, and he runs up the ladder to LAUNCH! Direct hit onto Caster and Cody! Archer gets in and sees targets, too. He dropkicks Penta back down, then goes for the ladder. But Ethan steps in to CUTTER Archer to the ladder! Ethan drags Archer over and puts him in the ladder to SLAM it closed on him over an dover and over! Scorpio gets in and sneaks up on Ethan to fireman’s carry! Ethan slips off, scoops Scorpio, and SLAMS him down! Then he crucifix lifts to SPLASH MOUNTAIN Scorpio onto ladder and Archer!! That ladder might be broken, and same goes for Scorpio and Archer!

Ethan fetches a new ladder, brings it over, moves the busted one aside and then sets up the new one. Cody gets up but Ethan DECKS him! Ethan climbs, Archer tips the ladder, and Penta hits Ethan with a BACKSTABBER! Penta hurries to climb the ladder now but Cody hurries in with a springboard missile dropkick! Direct hit sends Penta down! Cody drags Penta up but Penta SUPERKICKS first! Penta has Cody on the outside where a ladder bridge has been set up! Cody fights out of the driver to fireman’s carry, but Penta fights out of that! Penta brings Cody to the ladder bridge, CERO MIEDO for a LADDER DESTROYER!!!! Fans lose their minds as Penta perhaps breaks Cody’s arm and himself!

Fans chant “This is Awesome!” as medics check on Cody and Penta. Ethan goes to suplex Scorpio at a ladder but Scorpio suplexes Ethan to the floor! Caster climbs the ladder because no one else is around! Scorpio hurries in and knocks Caster down! Cody has to be taken to the back, Caster throws Scorpio out, and then Caster climbs again. Scorpio gets a new ladder in but Caster stomps Scorpio. Scorpio YANKS Caster off the ladder! Scorpio climbs, Cody takes a moment at the entrance but medics tell him to go to the back. Caster brings a bigger ladder up and he climbs! Scorpio reaches for the literal brass ring but Caster brawls with him!

Caster and Scorpio wobble, Archer climbs up to join them! Archer choke grips each of them but Ethan CLUBS Archer! Ethan goes up the other side and everyone is grabbing for the ring! They brawl, Scorpio SMACKS Archer off the ladder, as does Caster, and Ethan! Ethan and Caster brawl, Scorpio is after the goal! Scorpio ROCKS Caster with haymakers, then BOOTS him down! Scorpio adjusts, reaches, but Penta CLUBS Scorpio! Scorpio hops off, Penta stalks up behind him and throws more forearms! And a SUPERKICK! Fans rally for Penta and he feeds off it as he starts to climb! Scorpio hurries after and CLUBS Penta!

Scorpio climbs, throws haymakers then BITES Penta through the mask! Scorpio gets Penta for a SUPER NECKBREAKER! Ethan returns! He climbs a ladder, pushing the other out of the way! Caster climbs up the other end to intercept Ethan! They brawl, Caster rakes Ethan’s eyes! Caster climbs up higher and sunsets over for a SUPER SUNSET BOMB!! Ethan is a heap in the corner but Scorpio and Caster hurry around. Scorpio clears space, hits Caster, then hurries up the ladder. Caster drags Scorpio down but Scorpio ROCKS him! And then THROWS him into the ladder! Scorpio resets the ladder, sets it down, then SLAMS Caster on it!

Scorpio hobbles to a corner and fans rally up as Scorpio climbs. Jake the Snake lurks but the ref keeps him back. Scorpio FROG SPLASHES Caster and ladder!! Fans are thunderous for “A E DUB!” as Scorpio fights through the pain to get back up! Scorpio stands the ladder back up, Archer gets in but Scorpio fires off hands! Archer trips Scorpio and CATAPULTS Scorpio, but he uses that to get up higher!! Archer drags Scorpio back down, then runs in but into a BOOT! Scorpio goes up, but Arc her KNEES him and Scorpio lands through a ladder bridge!! Penta SUPERKICKS Archer, pops Ethan up top, SUPERKICKS Archer again, then mugs Ethan.

Caster runs in but is SUPLEXED onto Ethan! SPRINGBOARD SLINGBLADE takes Archer down! Penta is alone and he stands the ladder! Penta climbs, Ethan flounders after and they brawls at the top! Ethan reaches, Penta ROCKS him then pokes his eye then bumps him off buckles! CERO MIEDO- Ethan pulls the mask! Ethan shoves Penta, and CODY returns?! Cody has his weight belt! He SMACKS Caster, he SMACKS Ethan, and then RAMS Ethan into the ladder! Cody fires off with the good arm! Arn Anderson says this is reckless but Cody hits a CROSS RHODES on Ethan!! Cody stands the ladder in a corner, climbs up, and with Ethan in the drop zone, Archer intercepts!

Archer fires off hands on the bad arm! Cody holds on with the good arm, but Archer brings Cody along for a SUPERPLEX! Caster is up top and he hits the MIC DROP on the bad arm! Caster fires up, gets a ladder up under the brass ring, and he climbs! Penta hurries up to fire haymakers but Caster hits back! They brawl, Penta bumps Caster’s head off the ladder again and again! CERO! MIEDO! But Caster kisses the hand, only for Archer to SHOVE the ladder over! Caster and Penta hit ropes! Archer gets Ethan for a CHOKE SLAM! Cody runs in, for a CHOKE SLAM!! Penta gets a CHOKE SLAM!!! Caster is back and SLAPS Archer, only to get a choke grip. Caster SLAPS him again, so Archer DECKS Caster!

Archer drags a ladder in place, picks Caster up, and BLACKOUT BOMBS him on the ladder!!! Fans are thunderous as Archer is alone with a ladder! Jake the Snake is pumped as Archer stands the ladder up and climbs! But Ethan clubs Archer. Archer barely felt that! Archer hops down just to DECK Ethan! Archer climbs again, but Ethan is back?! LOW BLOW!! Now DQ in a ladder match, and Caster hits SPLASH MOUNTAIN! But Jake the Snake reels Ethan in for a SHORT ARM CLOTHESLINE!! Fans go nuts but Penta SUPERKICKS The Snake! Penta climbs now, but Cody returns!

Cody CLUBS Penta, throws haymakers and bumps Penta off the ladder. Cody goes up and up and SUPER CODY CUTTERS!! Cody climbs, Penta crawls about, and Penta gets a CHAIR! Penta SMACKS Cody with the chair! Wait did Arn give Penta that chair?! Penta drags Cody off the ladder and climbs it. But Scorpio gets the chair to SMACK Penta! And then SMACK the legs! Penta falls, clutching his foot! Scorpio hurries up, but Cody follows from the other end! Fans rally and duel, the two meet and Scorpio grabs for brass ring but Cody ROCKS Scorpio with haymakers! Cody keeps throwing hands, grabs the brass ring, but Scorpio SLAMS the bad arm on the ladder!

Scorpio rises, and tells Cody he’s NOT the Face of the Revolution! Scorpio shoves Cody down, reaches up, and grabs the brass ring off the hook!! Scorpio wins!!

Winner: Scorpio Sky (NEW #1 contender to the AEW TNT Championship)

The Closer finishes this off and he’s THE Face of the Revolution! Scorpio was able to #ReachForTheSky, but will he cash this in to have the title? We find out this Wednesday on Dynamite!

Street Fight: Team Taz VS Sting & Darby Allin!

Ricky Starks & Brian Cage are #AbsoluteMachines, and are ready to do damage to the Icon and the Relentless TNT Champion! Will things finally be settled between the scorned Taz and the underdog Darby?

Speaking of Taz, he’s stuck on commentary because Tony Khan wants to keep things fair. We go to the undisclosed location where this fight is going down. Starks walks out, decked out in vest and jeans and he joins Cage in his lime green sports car. They drive on to a vacant lot, and walk over to the abandoned warehouse. They find a ring set up, so they step inside that. But while there’s a referee, where are…? Wait, the lights go down, Darby’s music plays, and a small army of Stingers lead the way! Darby skateboards along, and a truck drives down the road. The “hoodlums” patiently wait for their generals, and Darby hitches a ride from Sting’s truck!

Sting and Darby arrive, having mixed and matched face paint designs. The bell rings, the hoodlums fire up, and t Sting whips Darby at Cage! Sting fires off on Starks. Cage puts Darby in a corner but Darby gets up, and springboards to bounce off the wall! Cage catches Darby to TOSS him onto hoodlums! Team Taz mugs Sting now. Cage stomps Sting to a corner and Starks joins in. Cage goes out to find Darby but he throws tires at the hoodlums to clear them out! And then he throws hoodlums! One takes an APRON BOMB! Darby rushes back in but Cage RAMS him into the post!

Cage hauls Darby around with one hand, and hits a SNAKE EYES off railing! Cage uses his shirt to CHOKE Darby, and they leave Starks and Sting behind in the ring. Starks fires off hands on Sting, but Sting reverses the whip to CLOBBER Starks! Cage RAMS Darby around into pillars and posts, but Sting hits a STINGER SPLASH on Starks! Sting military presses for a SNAKE EYES! Back to Cage and Darby, Cage CLUBS Darby towards hard wood floors. Cage hauls Darby up but Darby fights off the bomb to CHOP BLOCK a leg! Darby fires off hands, Cage shoves him and fireman’s carries, to RAM Darby into a wall! Cage military presses and TOSSES Darby into double doors!

Darby crawls but Cage hauls him up into this dark room off to the side. Sting hits Starks with another STINGER SPLASH, and then he CLOBBERS Starks out of the ring! Starks staggers and retreats but Sting follows behind him. Sting SMACKS glass with the bat to let Starks know he’s coming for him! Starks tries to get away but String THROWS the bat him! Starks avoids it, but he tells Sting he’s NOTHING without the bat. So Sting tosses the bat to kick and throw Starks around! Sting dribbles Starks off the wall then rains down rights and lefts! Sting stomps Starks down, then stands him up to SLAM him against the wall!

Sting leaves Starks behind to go find Darby and Cage. Cage throws Darby along as they go up the steel staircase. Cage suplexes Darby and holds him up while walking up the stairs! Cage SLAMS Darby into a trash can! “Who better than Cage, Darby, huh!?” Cage kicks Darby along and Darby crawls, but Cage stands on Darby’s head! Cage grins, digs his boot in harder, but Sting turns Cage around to throw into ladder! And Darby dropkicks Cage into rusty wall! Sting and Darby mug Cage 2v1! Taz gets worried but the mugging just gets worse! Starks returns to SPEAR Darby into another room! Starks comes back to throw hands on Sting!

Starks has a pipe and he JAMS Sting! Then shoves a barrel into him! Starks keeps after Sting and uses the barrel to CHOP BLOCK Sting! Sting falls against a bunch of spare filing cabinets! Starks SLAMS Sting against them, but Sting hits Starks low! Cage runs in but Sting dodges and the trash can lid hits Starks! Sting throws hands on Cage, Cage knees low, but Darby returns to hop on Cage! Darby has a sleeper, Sting throws hands on Cage, but Cage hits back! Cage shoves Sting into a crate, then RAMS Darby into one! Cage brings Darby up and reels him in, but Sting uses the fire extinguisher! Darby SMASHES a glass bottle on Cage’s head!

Sting and Darby drag Cage up and DOUBLE SPINEBUSTER him through a table! But Starks has a 2×4 to SMACK Sting! Darby and Starks brawl with big slapping haymakers! Darby fires off, backs Starks down, but Starks knees low! Starks runs but Darby sends him into a post! Darby climbs the post to SUPER COFFIN DROP through a palette! But POWERHOUSE WILL HOBBS attacks! Hobbs BOMBS Darby into the post, and then calls in Hook! Hook throws Darby with a sayanagi! Sting rises but so does Cage! Cage stalks up behind Sting and kicks him low, to then RAMS him into a wall! And CLUB him down!

Team Taz regroups and they mug Darby 3v1! Hook talks trash to Darby, Hobbs holds Darby up and Cage throws body shots. The two behemoths swing Darby into and through spare window frames!! Team Taz leaves Darby for dead and Hook KICKS Sting! Hook drags Sting up to throw hands, and now Sting is taking a 3v1 mugging! Starks rises and does his best to follow after. Cage uses a snow shovel to SMACK Sting! And SMACK him again! Darby rises?! And he has Sting’s bat! Darby tosses the bat to Sting! Sting uses the bat to SMACK away on Team Taz! He even BREAKS the bat on Cage’s back!! Sting picks up the shovel and BASHES Cage!

Darby takes aim and he SUPER MACHO ELBOWS Cage through the flooring!! Sting looks over and lets what happens happen. Sting goes back to find Starks in the ring but Starks elbows Sting away! Starks dodges the Stinger Splash, and it’s BARE BUCKLES to Sting’s chest! Starks runs and dodges and SPEARS! Cover, TWO!?! Sting survives and Starks can’t believe it! Starks gets up to throw slapping palm strikes on Sting but Sting ROCKS Starks with a right! Starks low blow mule kicks Sting, gets Sting up, but Sting fights the powerbomb to sunset flip! TWO!! Sting and Starks slowly rise, and Sting walks over. Starks elbows but into the SCORPION DEATH DROP!! Cover, Sting and Darby win!!

AEW World Championship Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch: Kenny Omega w/ Don Callis VS Jon Moxley!

Three sides are barbed wires. There are explosives set to go off if the barbed wires are pushed far enough. There are three “Triple Hell” spots that go off on contact! And if the match isn’t over after 30 minutes, ALL explosives go off! This match could end the Cleaner’s title reign, but could it end someone’s career?!

AEW isn’t risking anything, the ref is even wearing a fireproof hazard suit and plastic face shield just in case. Moxley wears a jacket that is in tribute to Atsushi Onita, and then has a sip of liquid courage to help him to the ring. Omega wears a shirt that already commemorates this moment in history, and Callis joins commentary to guarantee he has overseen all of this. This is a “special send-off” for Moxley. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and Moxley finishes off that flask as we see what gives first: title reign or wrestling career!

Fans are thunderous already as Moxley and Omega stare down. “This is Awesome!” already as Omega and Moxley slowly circle. The clock is ticking on that 30 minutes but these two don’t seem to be in any hurry. They tie up, and Omega tries to push Moxley to barbed wire! Moxley holds firm but Omega claws at Moxley’s face and hair! Moxley turns things around! Omega fights back now by clawing at Moxley’s face and hair! They go the other way and are dangerously close, but Moxley tries to pull Omega in! Omega pushes Moxley, Moxley headbutts Omega! Omega throws a haymaker and now it’s a brawl! Omega CHOPS, Moxley CHOPS, repeat!

Omega kicks low, headlocks, but Moxley tries to push him back. Omega brings Moxley around but has to stop himself from going into the other ropes! Moxley gets close but Omega cranks on the headlock. Moxley hits a back suplex! Omega holds on with the headlock and thrashes Moxley around! Moxley sits up, Omega clubs him, and throws a forearm! Omega BITES Moxley’s forehead! Omega whips but Moxley stops himself! Moxley dodges and Omega has to stop himself! Moxley kicks Omega and suplexes but Omega fights that off! Omega ROCKS Moxley, whips him but Moxley reverses!

Omega hits the corner panel, which is safe, but he runs into a fireman’s carry! Moxley goes to throw Omega but Omega gets away! Fans cheer as the two stand off and reset. Omega and Moxley slap some nerve into themselves and the fans rally up. Moxley and Omega throw JABS back and forth, then forearms! Omega rakes Moxley’s eyes! Omega runs to the safe ropes to rebound and BOOT! Moxley stays up, Omega BOOTS, then runs again, but Moxley clothesline him out to the ramp! Moxley pursues, gets a chair and tosses it in the ring! And then a kendo stick, and then a chair wrapped heavily in barbed wire!

Moxley has Barbie the Baseball Bat and SMACKS Omega with it! The barbed wire gets Omega in the stomach, then Moxley brings it around on Omega’s face to hit a Russian Leg Sweep to the stage! Moxley gets the kendo stick back and he SMACKS Omega on the back! And again! Omega gets back to the ring but Moxley has both bat and kendo stick! Moxley dual wields ! But Omega is dumping out some POCKET SAND!! Moxley swings wild but Omega taunts him. Omega kicks Moxley low, and whips Moxley to barbed wire, BANG! The first explosion goes off and fans lose their minds! Callis thinks that’s it but Moxley still breathes! Omega covers, TWO!!

Omega has the kendo stick and he SMACKS Moxley down! And again! And then SMACKS a leg! Moxley writhes but Omega has a trash can. Omega SMASHES the can on Moxley’s head! Omega stands the can up, gets Moxley’s leg, and hits a SHIN BREAKER to the can! Moxley writhes again and Callis is loving this! Omega gets the kendo stick and he uses it to choke Moxley! Moxley fights but Omega SMACKS him, then KOTARO KRUSHERS to the can! Cover, TWO! Omega goes after the bad leg and yanks on it, then drops down with a FIGURE FOURE! Moxley endures the leg hold but his face is bleeding! The ref checks, Moxley refuses to quit, and Moxley reaches around.

Moxley grabs the barbed wire wrapped chair! He grinds it on Omega’s legs like razor sharp sandpaper!! Omega lets Moxley go to check his legs and even hands. No blood, and Omega ducks the barbed wire bat attack! Omega full nelsons but Moxley breaks free! Moxley runs but Omega THROWS him into the barbed wire board and BREAKS IT!! If Moxley wasn’t bleeding before, he is now! A crimson mask is about to have sleeves to match as Moxley is prying himself. Omega drags Moxley around, but has to carefully climb the ropes to MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!! Omega says that’s alright, he gets the kendo stick to SMACK Moxley over an dover! And then SMACKS him on the back of the head!

The count is 20 minutes left before the big explosion. Omega wants the figure four but Moxley boots him at ropes! BANG!! Omega staggers, into a SHOTGUN DROPKICK! BANG!!! If explosions were scores, Moxley is up by one! Fans lose their minds again and say “This is Awesome!” Omega crawls, Moxley follows, but Omega drags Moxley up first. Moxley gets an EXPLODER! Omega is down while Moxley peers through his crimson mask! Moxley drags Omega up, has both wrists, and reels him into a pump handle! Omega fights the suplex off and elbows Moxley, to full nelson! Moxley blocks the Dragon Suplex to throw Omega off! EXPLODER through the other barbed wire board!

Both men are down, but Omega is not stuck in the wires like Moxley’s. Moxley sets the chair up and has to wipe blood away from his face so he can see again. Omega slowly rises, Moxley tells him bang bang, and reels him in for underhooks. Omega fights free, and ROLLING ELBOWS Moxley, to then Electric Chair! Moxley escapes to GERMAN SUPLEX Omega onto the can! Moxley gets up, reels Omega into a SIDEWALK SLAM onto the barbed wire chair!! The jeans are hooked in the wires for a moment but Omega frees his legs. Moxley rips part of the wire off the chair?! Flashback to his I Quit match with Eddie Kingston, Moxley has the barbed wire arm!

Fans are calling Moxley a “Sick F*ck!” as he aims at Omega! Omega fights back with forearms! Moxley wobbles but power sup, Omega BOOTS him! Moxley spins around to LARIAT with the left hand! Moxley aims with the dangerous right, but Omega ducks to SNAP DRAGON! Omega drags Moxley back around for another SNAP DRAGON! Moxley is right up!? V-TRIGGER! BARBED WIRE LARIAT!!! Fans are still thunderous as Moxley and Omega rise. Moxley fires up and he reels Omega in, but no Paradigm Shift! Omega shoves Moxley and himself to ropes! BANG!!! That explosion might’ve been the biggest yet! The ref calls for water to wash Omega’s eyes out!

Omega and Moxley crawl out from under the ropes, blood and smoke and light all reasons why their vision is impaired. They both stand on the edge, fans rally and duel, and Omega JABS! Moxley JABS, Omega JABS, then CHOPS! Omega CHOPS and CHOPS but Moxley throws forearms. They brawl, Moxley rakes Moxley’s eyes and bloody wound! Omega brings Moxley around but Moxley resists the hip toss to hell! Omega clubs away on Moxley, Moxley hits back, and BITES Omega’s head! Moxley headlocks then KNEES Omega! Omega wobbles, Moxley brings him in, throws more knees, and then underhooks! DEATH RIDER TO HELL!!! They crash on the “mines” and BOOM!

Moxley writhes but he’s in the worst spot! Omega is ironically safe from the wires because he took that header. Moxley makes sure no blood is from his arms. He is clean, but he carefully frees himself from the wires. Omega is now bleeding from the forehead and fans are thunderously dueling. Moxley and Omega lock eyes from across hell, and Moxley gets a LONG strand of barbed wire for his own. Moxley hurts himself just to bend the wires around to a shape he can wield. Moxley then puts Omega in the ring, stalks after him, and sits him up to BARBED WIRE PUNCH him! And again! And again! Omega manages to stay seated upright, but we get a FINAL COUNTDOWN~!

Moxley hurries to get Omega up, and hits a PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO!?! Omega is still in this, Moxley covers again, TWO!! How much longer do they have?! Moxley drags Omega up again, underhooks, but Omega drops and LOW BLOWS! Omega brings Moxley in, brings him up and POWERBOMBS! High stack, TWO!! Moxley flounders about, moves things out of his way, and Omega grabs at the ref?! Moxley stands, Omega steadies himself and V-TRIGGERS! Moxley is still up, for another V-TRIGGER from Omega! Omega Electric Chair lifts Moxley, for a ONE WINGED ANGEL!! Cover, BANG because of the ropebreak!! Moxley survives the match only because he risked his life!

Moxley gets the barbed wire bat! Omega writhes as the flash blinded him again! Moxley roars and rises, fans are thunderously dueling again, but here come the GOOD BROTHERS! Karl Anderson gets in but gets SMACKED by the bat! Luke Gallows gives Omega an extra thicc Barbie, for him to HOMERUN! It had an explosive inside?! Callis says THAT was their secret trump card! Cover, TWO!?!? Omega is furious with the ref and tears off a sleeve of the hazmat suit! The Biz Cliz set Moxley up, as well as a chair! Five minutes left before the explosion, ONE WINGED ANGEL to the chair!! The chair crumbles, as does Moxley, and Omega covers, Omega wins!

Winner: Kenny Omega, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Callis laughs and says this was all strategy! Callis declares Omega not just God of Wrestling, but the God of Deathmatches! But it was only because of Gallows & Anderson that Omega survives with his reign intact! Callis warns his guys that there’s still a countdown in progress! Biz Cliz doesn’t care, they throw the ref away and mug Moxley more! Omega throws things out of the ring and at the ref! Gallows & Anderson handcuff Moxley! They stomp Moxley, Omega says this is what Moxley wanted and this is what he got! Anderson makes sure Moxley’s forehead wound keeps bleeding! But the clock is ticking, are they going to leave Moxley for dead?!

Omega uses his Extra Thicc Barbie to DIG Moxley’s forehead open! Two minutes left, the Biz Cliz needs to get going! Omega SMASHES Moxley in the stomach with the bat, then SMASHES him on the back! Fans boo but Omega isn’t done adding insult to injury! They make us look at Moxley’s bloody face! Wait, wait, wait! NOW we get a final countdown! ONE MINUTE AND COUNTING! Callis says it should be fine, but he’ll be going over here just because. RUN, BIZ CLIZ, RUN!! Moxley is stuck in the ring with only 30 seconds left!

Wait, Eddie Kingston and The Fam are here?! Kingston still cares about Moxley! He tries to get Moxley out but his Fam leaves him behind!! HURRY, KINGSTON!! NOOOO~! Kingston covers Moxley- Oh, what? Sparklers and firecrackers? Was Callis trolling? Or was his “Moxley Extermination Chamber” a dud? Kingston doesn’t want to leave Moxley. Is he actually out cold or is he just being dramatic? Point is, Moxley is in awful shape. Will he ever be able to compete again?

My Thoughts:

I know we just saw an underwhelming finish as far as the “final explosion,” but this was still another incredible AEW PPV. The Buy-In match’s surprise of Maki Itoh was awesome, because I was oddly wondering if anyone else from the Women’s Title Eliminator Tournament Japan bracket made the trip. The Buy-In match itself was great stuff, too, but of course Britt cheats to win. Then later, after the awesome Women’s Championship match, I’m a little disappointed it wasn’t Big Swole who attacked Shida after her great promo on AEW Dark. I suppose setting up a great Six Woman Tag is good, and I suppose Swole will crash the match to start beef with Shida, but I would’ve preferred if actual story was put first.

Not to be mean, but for the hype we got over the last few days, talking about a WWE Hall of Fame contender and then tonight’s line about “they can outwork anyone,” I was not picturing Christian at all. And not just because I was hoping WWE would do more with Edge & Christian once Mania season is over. Christian is great on the mic, but from what I remember, only good in the ring. I just feel like this is a little too “Instant Classic” Christian Cage back when he went to TNA Impact, or even when he returned to WWE in 2009 and ended up their ECW Champion. He could probably be a TNT Championship contender, but I’m not seeing world title potential.

The tag title match was a great opener, and for just a second I thought Y2MJF were going to cheat those belts away from the Bucks, but it is much better for THE tag team to win this time. Plus, we’re going to see an “Inner Circle War Council” segment happen on Dynamite, and I bet MJF starts to suggest replacements for the “weaker” parts of the faction. I am surprised Santana & Ortiz didn’t win the Casino Tag Battle Royal but that could feed into the “war council” and the suggested substitutions. Death Triangle winning is great, but I wish they’d been able to make it the Lucha Brothers in this case. Penta didn’t win the ladder match, so what’s he going to do now? Or will Death Triangle use Freebird rules?

The ladder match was also great stuff, and that was pretty big for Ethan Page to debut through that match. Max Caster had a scathingly good rap this time (which I couldn’t get written down because B/R Live doesn’t allow pausing or anything), I hope that turns up somewhere. I appreciate that they did everything to make us think Cody was going to swipe this from the others, since that was what we were all thinking anyway. But in the end, Scorpio Sky winning this a great move, and Scorpio is going to have a great match with Darby. Though, I guess that means Darby lived, we did see him fall into the abyss with Cage…

Speaking of, that Street Fight cinematic was great, but the moment before Darby tosses the bat to Sting so clearly was just an edited shot of Sting in like a green screen moment. I should’ve figured Sting would not only be on the winning side but get the win himself. We may criticize WWE for their use of part-timers and returning legends, but Sting is the one case where he’s gotten raw deals wherever he goes, so maybe AEW can be where he properly retires, whenever that will be. I wouldn’t be surprised if his partnership with Darby continues as more of a mentor, but then is his tag partner when needed.

Miro’s attack before the grudge match was a good touch, it makes sense he’d do something like that. I’m a little disappointed Trent didn’t come out to be Chuck’s tag partner, but I guess if Miro was meant to win this, they’d want to save Trent’s heroic return for another time. I hope Miro shoving Cassidy in Penelope and Sabian being a bit upset about that is the cracks in the foundation. Miro and Sabian have had their time as a team, they should both be back to singles competitors, and it could be because Miro is selfishly reckless and putting both Sabian and Penelope in harm’s way.

The Big Money match was really good, and I’m surprised Hangman won, but it was great for Dark Order to counter Private Party. I wonder where things go from here, especially with Hardy not having big money anymore. Will he desperately try and get Private Party to do things so that the money they make becomes the money he makes? Though, I suppose Hangman could point out that he will get 100% of the 30% Hardy is taking from Private Party, and then Big Money Matt is left broke. And then Hangman and the Dark Order can throw big money parties to rub it in Hardy Party’s face.

Then holy crap and a half that Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch. We got a great detail in the ref wearing the safety gear, we got some good references back to the Lights Out Match from Full Gear, though a little disappointed there was no barbed wire wrapped broom. There was a great reference back to the I Quit match with the barbed wire forearm and knuckles, and I liked that the explosions were used so Moxley could survive a One Winged Angel without really surviving it. The One Winged Angel is a properly protected finisher in an era where false finishers are the standard way of upping a match’s star level and a wrestler’s power level.

Omega got great Heel heat for needing the Good Brothers to help. It kinda sucks that they did that but clearly Omega was meant to win so how else would he do that? I liked that Kingston hurried out to save Moxley because deep down, they’re still friends. It makes sense that The Fam stayed Heel because they didn’t care enough to help, and that could also cause tension in that group. To me, Kingston no longer needs to be in charge of them and they don’t need to listen to him, that story kinda ran its course by the time Pac returned to reunite with the Lucha Brothers.

Now yes, the final explosion was not anywhere near what was promised by, well, anything. Callis said he accounted for everything so the dud should be pinned on him, and a lot of the next phase of the story should branch from that. Callis should admit that he didn’t let the final, “end it all” explosion be as big as it could have just in case all the screw job tactics screwed up and it was Omega left for dead. Then with Kingston and Moxley, it’d be a bit too comedic for them to say Kingston passed out from the heightened drama and fear for his life, but that’s the only way to salvage his sell. We all know the sparklers and such were NOT dangerous at all.

And in reality, we know Tony Khan couldn’t go as big on the ring explosion as even just the pyro they do on stage. As great as it would’ve been to see a lot more fire, and then maybe the ring falls apart with Kingston and Moxley riding it out, we have to remember there are surely going to be AEW Dark matches recorded tonight for Tuesday’s broadcast, and rebuilding a demolished ring would just add too much time onto their busy night. Speaking of which, I hope the Dark After Revolution isn’t that many matches. A lot of people were on tonight’s card, we might only need half a dozen or so matches to get the handful of people left off their ring work for the week.
