The Saint proved his worth against Ariya Daivari, but Tony Nese said The Sauce was weak. Will Hale keep rolling or will Sterling bring the heat as these new Cruiserweights collide?

The bell rings and the two circle. Fans fire up and the two tie up. They’re in a deadlock, but Ari slips around to get a hammerlock. Hale reaches back to headlock, then cravats. Hale snapmares but Ari fights it off, but Hale dodges the back hand! The two stand off, go again, and Hale wrenches an arm to a wristlock. Ari rolls, handsprings, but Hale wrenches to wring Ari out! Ari keeps his shoulders up, Hale rolls to wrench, then wrenches again. Fans rally and duel, Ari gets up to use ropes to flip through and wrench back! Ari hammerlocks, Hale moves around to switch the hammerlock, then he spins Ari to wrangle him down hard!

Ari moves around, gets up, and fans rally as Ari wrenches to a headlock. Hale pulls hair, powers out, but Ari runs him over! Things speed up, Ari handsprings over Hale and eggs him on. Things speed up and Ari handsprings again! Hale gets a waistlock but Ari elbows out hard! Ari runs but Hale reels him in and sweeps the leg! Hale snarls while Ari checks his leg. Hale stomps Ari to a corner, brings him up and whips but Ari reverses. Ari runs in but Hale puts him on the apron. Ari springboards back in for the headscissors! And a WHEEL KICK! Hale bails out but Ari takes aim! Ari hits the MOON-SAUCE, but misses the target! Hale is on the apron and leaps to FLYING KNEE Ari down!

Fans fire up and Hale gets Ari up to TOSS him into barriers! The ring count is climbing, Hale gets Ari up and in at 9! Hale is safe, too, as he KICKS Ari in the back! Hale is showing some edge but Ari throws hands to show grit! Ari CHOPS, CHOPS but Hale shoves! Hale spins Ari around to get a neckbreaker across the knee! Cover, TWO! Hale keeps on Ari with a half straitjacket and gets the full! Ari endures, fans rally up, but Hale digs knees into Ari’s back. Ari fights up, Hale wrangles him back down, and Hale bends Ari back! Ari rolls up and over to reverse the straitjacket onto Hale! Hale fights up, RAMS Ari into buckles then arm-drags free to dropkick a leg out!

Fans rally, Hale KICKS Ari in the back, then Hale stalks Ari as he gets up. Hale KICKS the leg and Ari falls over! Ari reaches the ropes, Hale gets his legs and yanks Ari up, but Ari lands on his feet! But Hale CLUBS Ari, has a leg, then the other, to tie them up for a FIGURE FOUR DRAGON SCREW! Ari writhes but fans fire up for that painful innovation! Hale dares Ari to get up, and avoids the kicks. Hale stands on Ari’s leg, twists the other, and drags Ari from ropes. Ari Eddy Gordo kicks then ROCKS Hale with boxing elbows! Ari sweeps the legs, runs, and SOMERSAULT AX KICKS! Hale staggers, Ari gets the bad leg moving, and Ari runs corner to corner to forearm smash!

Ari hoists Hale up top, Hale kicks Ari away, but Ari comes back! Ari wants to handspring but his bad leg won’t let him! Hale hurries to sunset flip Ari, ONE! Hale has the legs for a DEATHLOCK, WITH A BRIDGE!! Ari endures this modified Muda Lock, drags himself around, and gets the ropebreak! Hale lets go as best he can with the legs tied up, but he’s right back on Ari! Ari kicks him away but Hale PENALTY KICKS Ari down! DOUBLE STOMP to the bad leg! Hale wants the legs again but Ari makes it a cradle! TWO, and Hale goes for legs again! Ari steps up and around, roll up, TWO!! Hale kicks but Ari blocks! Hale turns that into a rolling takedown, to an ANKLE LOCK!

Ari reels Hale in for a victory roll, TWO! Hale spins but misses the discus, Ari PELES back! Ari gets Hale but Hale ROUNDHOUSES! Ari KNEE TRIGGERS! Hale wobbles into the BAJA BLAST!! Cover, Ari wins!!

The #BAJA86 was too spicy for Hale, and The Sauce is back up! Will the man with purple ‘n’ orange in his hair soon be the best the purple ‘n’ orange has? As for Hale, will the patience of a Saint help him turn things back around?

August Grey & Ikemen Jiro VS The Bollywood Boyz!

Another new face, and a handsome one at that, is back in action! We have another outing of Retro ‘n’ Jiro, and there up against another duo of 205 Live originals! Will it be lights, camera and IKEMEN tonight? Or will the Singh Brothers leave these two on the cutting room floor?

The teams sort out, Grey and Samir start but Jiro already wows the crowd doing a handstand just to exit the ring. Samir and Grey tie up, Samir headlocks and hits a takedown. Fans rally for Grey as he endures and fights out. Grey headlocks now, hits a takeover of his own, and grinds Samir down. Samir keeps his shoulders up, tries for a headscissor but Grey fights it. Samir still gets the scissors and squeezes tight. Grey and kips free to headlock again. Grey snapmares, shifts to get an arm and La Magistrol, TWO! Samir dodges a clotheslines to crucifix takedown, TWO! Grey runs into an arm-drag! Samir has an armlock but Grey endures.

Grey fights his way up, scoops but Samir lands on his feet to O’Conner Roll! ONE and Grey hurries to get up, but Samir arm-drags to get the armlock again! Jiro coaches Grey, Grey fights up and fans rally. Grey arm-drags and has Samir in an armlock now. Samir fights up, Sunil tags in and Samir whips. Things speed up, the Bollywood Boyz hurdle and drop to then run Grey over! Sunil covers, TWO! Sunil keeps on Grey with a headlock, but Jiro tags in as Grey powers out! Now roles reverses, Grey hurdles and Jiro JACKET PUNCHES! Sunil staggers into a BIG back suplex! Jiro goes to ropes for a HANDSOME LIONSAULT! Cover, TWO!

Jiro stomps Sunil, throws hands, and reels Sunil in for a suplex. Sunil slips out but runs into an arm-drag! Jiro flexes the jacket as he has the armlock. Sunil fights up, Jiro wrenches and tags in Grey. Grey takes the hand-off, wrenches Sunil to a wristlock, and whips him to a corner. Samir helps Sunil get away and Grey POSTS himself! Samir tags in, and pulls Grey’s arm into the post! The ref counts, Samir lets off at 3, and then has the arm to hotshot it! Tag to Sunil, Sunil brings Grey up on the apron for an APRON ARM WRINGER! Grey writhes and rolls but Sunil hurries to cover, TWO! Sunil keeps Grey from Jiro with a top wristlock. Grey endures, fights up but Sunil throws him down!

Sunil drops a leg on the bad arm, then brings Grey around with a wrench. Tag to Samir, the Singhs BOOT Grey, to an elbow breaker and FLYING BULLDOG! Cover, TWO! Samir hurries to keep on Grey with an armlock and a pie face. Fans rally as Grey endures, and Grey fights up. Grey gets around to roll Samir up, TWO! Samir CLOBBERS Grey, covers, TWO! Samir keeps on the bad arm, grinds Grey down, and has a knee on Grey’s head. Fans keep rallying, Grey gets up and throws hands! Samir holds on but Grey punches more and more! Sunil tags in, Samir knees Grey low, then whips Grey to a corner!

Samir whips Sunil for Sunil to whip Samir, but Jiro borrows a move from the Singhs and saves Grey! Samir hits buckles hard, Grey elbows Sunil, but Samir runs in! Samir is sent outside, hot tag to Jiro! Jiro rallies on Sunil, JACKET PUNCH after JACKET PUNCH! Fans fire up with Jiro and he whips Sunil to back drop! Sunil flounders to a corner, Samir barks at Jiro, JACKET PUNCH! Jiro runs at Sunil but is put outside! Jiro hotshots Sunil, then hits an ARABIAN PRESS! Cover, TWO!! Jiro keeps his cool as he goes up top. Jiro leaps, but Sunil avoids the swanton! Jiro rolls through but Sunil hits him with a WHEEL KICK!

Sunil tags in Samir and gets Jiro up! BOLLYWOOD HART ATTACK! Cover, but Grey breaks it in time! Samir tags Sunil back in, they aim, but Grey drags Samir out to ruin the Bollywood Superkick Party! Jiro SUPERKICKS, but he runs into a BOOT! Sunil goes up but Jiro GAMANGIRIS! Jiro springboards to FLYING HEADSCISSOR! Jiro powers up, IKEMEN SLASH!! Cover, Jiro & Grey win!

Retro ‘n’ Jiro are 2-0! Is this handsome and charismatic duo a force to be reckoned with in 205 Live?

My Thoughts:

Another great 205 Live, it was a nice surprise to see two of the newest signees facing each other. Hale and Sterling did great, though I’m surprised there was that shift in Hale to be the Heel in this match. Even in 205 Live, WWE just can’t help but need that dynamic. A Face VS Face with these two just busting out there best stuff would’ve been just fine for me. Jiro & Grey VS Bollywood Boyz was also very good, and naturally Jiro & Grey win because they’re on the rise. I like that Jiro has other jackets but I felt like he could’ve easily gone another match with the yellow jacket with his face on it before debuting his watermelon print jacket. And if he ever gets a title match, he better have a shiny gold one for it.

I do wonder where Curt Stallion is, though. He hasn’t been on since March, and I believe that was after he lost the Cruiserweight Championship match with Santos Escobar because of Escobar’s side story with Karrion Kross. I still say Stallion should’ve won that because of Kross’ distractions, just so someone could bring the title back to 205 Live. But with things going the way they did, Kushida is of course the right choice to be champion now. I just wish Kushida would show up to elevate 205 Live. He doesn’t even have to do anything more than be watching the singles matches, maybe tweeting about them at the same time, something to make us feel that 205 Live matters to NXT.
