The Buy-In – 10 Man Tag: The Hardy Family Office VS Jurassic Express & Best Friends!
Big Money Matt has been racking up some receipts with Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Chuck Taylor, Wheeler Yuta, and especially Orange Cassidy. But will having Private Party and The Hybrid2 be enough to keep Hardy’s enemies from collecting?
The teams sort out and the Kentucky Gentleman starts with Hardy, but Hardy is calling out Cassidy! He wants to “DELETE!” Freshly Squeezed so badly, he shoves Chuck at the corner! Chuck tags Yuta instead, he and Hardy tie up but Hardy knees low and shoves Yuta back at the corner! Hardy! Wants! Cassidy! Yuta looks to Cassidy, Cassidy doesn’t complain, so Yuta tags him in. Fans fire up but then Cassidy trolls Hardy by tagging in Luchasaurus! Hardy politely asks Luchasaurus wait, and he tags in Jack Evans! Evans shoves Luchasaurus but he’s the one that goes flying! Fans are fired up for Luchasaurus as Evans speed up, but he gets caught for a tilt-o-whirl SLAM!
Luchasaurus reels Evans in for a wheelbarrow GERMAN SUPLEX! Luchasaurus then glares at Hardy but Hardy tells him he just wanted Cassidy. Tag to Jungle Boy and he knee-boards for a senton! Cover, TWO! JB brings Evans up, Evans throws hands and CHOPS! JB CHOPS back, then CHOPS again! JB knuckle locks, CHOPS and then goes up and up and rebounds to arm-drag! And dropkick! JB kips up and fans fire up! JB stares down the HFO but tags out to Yuta as Isiah Kassidy tags in. Yuta gets around Kassidy to waistlock, Kassidy switches and back suplexes but Yuta lands on his feet. Yuta baits Kassidy into a pop-up but he also has to fight off Marq Quen, too!
Private Party hotshot and leg sweep Yuta, Quen springboards for a SPLASH! Cover, ONE!! Quen drags Yuta over, Angelico tags in and the HFO mugs Yuta. Angelico wrenches Yuta’s arm to a wristlock and even Bernie leans as he does it. Yuta wrenches, spins, wrenches more and hooks Angelico up for an IRON OCTOPUS! Evans jumps in and gets an ANKLE LOCK on Yuta! But Chuckie T jumps in to get a SLEEPER on Evans! Kassidy jumps in and jumps onto Chuck for a SLEEPER of his own! JB jumps in and gets an ANKLE LOCK on Kassidy! Quen jumps in and he puts JB in a CRAVAT NECK WRENCH!
Luchasaurus jumps in and tries to figure out what is even going on. Luchasaurus runs and he BLASTS through the whole pile! Fans are thunderous as Luchasaurus CHOPS down Evans, pops Angelico for a FLAPJACK, then CHOPS down Kassidy! Quen runs in but gets a FLAPJACK! Kassidy returns but into a squealing FLAPJACK! Evans staggers up into a choke grip, but he flips through the lift, into a KNEE!! Luchasaurus is becoming the Godzilla of wrestling with how he just wrecked everyone! Hardy gets in and talks at Luchasaurus, but Private Party runs in! Luchasaurus catches them both with choke grips, but Hardy CHOP BLOCKS! Private Party SUPERKICK ENZIGURI COMBO!
Hardy Party POSTS Luchasaurus and he falls out of the ring! But Cassidy gets in and fans fire up again! Hardy Party celebrates already but Cassidy unleashes the “devastating” kicks from behind! He hits Kassidy, Hardy, Quen and back again! Hardy is furious with Cassidy’s antics, swings on him but is shoved out! Private Party wrench and COMPLETE SHOT to knees! Kassidy holds Cassidy for Quen to STANDING SHOOTING STAR! Chuck waistlocks Kassidy but Kassidy elbows free. Kassidy runs in at the corner but Chuck goes up and over! Chuck OVERHEAD Belly2Belly suplexes Quen onto Kassidy!
TH2 runs in, but Chuck catches Evans for a facelock! Angelico runs in, Chuck catches him, COMPLETE SHOT DDT COMBO! Chuck builds speed and FLIES to take out Hardy Party! Yuta is up top, he SUPER SPLASHES Angelico! Cover but Evans breaks it! Angelico gets Yuta in a clinch, Evans adds on, NECK-BACK BREAKER COMBO! Then a pop-up into Evans’ KANGAROO KICK! Angelico covers, Chuck breaks it! Quen returns to throw hands and throw Chuck out. Kassidy runs in, Yuta elbows him away, but Quen blocks Yuta’s boot so Kassidy can ROCK Yuta back! Quen runs in again, GIN ‘N’ JUICE!! Angelico covers, Cassidy breaks it!
Fans fire up as Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets! Angelico whips, Cassidy ducks and dodges, then keeps going to NO HANDS RANA! Private Party returns but Cassidy dodges them to NO HANDS DOUBLE RANA! Evans returns to get a dropkick! No hands kip up, but Hardy attacks Cassidy and gets the TWIST OF FATE! But Chuck tags JB, Yuta and Chuck toss Hardy out then DOUBLE PLANCHA Private Party! Fans fire up for JB as he goes after Kassidy, but Kassidy whips him away. Kassidy ducks JB’s lariat and he falls over, but JB quickly trips up Quen! JB then goes back after Kassidy to suplex for a BRAINBUSTER!
Angelico runs in but JB kicks him down. Evans returns, JB ROCKS him. Angelico helps Evans up in an Electric Chair! But Luchasaurus returns and gives JB a boost with the Electric Chair! Fans fire up as we have a game of chicken, without the pool! Evans and JB SLAP each other back and forth, then JB blocks to CHOP and CHOP and LARIAT Evans down! Then JB BOOTS Angelico! Quen climbs a corner, leaps, but JB ducks under it! It’s just like his entrance with Luchasaurus! JB sits back up, Kassidy is up top now, but JB catches the crossbody for a MOONSAULT POWERSLAM! Even Luchasaurus is shocked at what just happened!
The Blade gets in the ring but Luchasaurus BOOTS him down! Marko Stunt climbs up onto Luchasaurus’ shoulders, and SUPER CROSSBODIES onto The Blade!! Angelico staggers up and Luchasaurus aims, TAIL WHIP! JB gets Angelico for the SNARE TRAP!! Angelico taps, #JurassicFriends wins!!

Fans sing along with Tarzan Boy as Chuck, Yuta, Cassidy, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt celebrate! Jurassic Express heads out, but then the HFO keep the Best Friends from hugging! WAIT! The Butcher is back!? The biggest mercenary on Hardy’s payroll CLOBBERS Cassidy! The Butcher then gets Cassidy up for the SWINGING URENAGE! But this isn’t the end, as the rest of the HFO regroups and sits Cassidy up. But Jurassic Express returns, and they’ve brought Dante Martin, the Varsity Blonds and members of the Dark Order with them! There are even more friends of the Best Friends than Hardy bet on! Will this turn into an all out war now? Oh wait, you GOT to give the people what they want! That’s the biggest group hug in AEW history!
Dan Lambert and The Men of the Year are up in the nosebleeds!
Lambert shouts into the mic, “I have to say about this company and all you idiots that make up its fanbase, but it was made crystal clear to me that when I pulled up to the arena that former UFC Heavyweight Champions, Andre Arlovski and Junior dos Santos, together with BMF Champion, Jorge Masvidal, and The Men of the Year, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, are here for a little less talk and a lot more action!” Ethan Page says, “I love~ you~, Dan!” And All Ego is glad Lambert reached out to him and Scorpio. “Everyone knows the Men of the Year are two very handsome, fashionable men.” Scorpio adds, “They have eyes.”
Ethan says the Men of the Year love to talk their trash, flap their gums and show off the Gift of Gab. Scorpio adds, “They have ears.” Ethan continues by saying, “But everyone on the roster already knows that The Men of the Year are extremely! Dangerous! Men!” Scorpio says “But sometimes, you have to take it to the next level.” That means stepping out of their comfort zones, “and back into the danger zone.” They’ll do that with their new friends, American Top Team! Lambert says they’ve got UFC fighters in the building, Scorpio’s got his new five-year extension signed, sealed and delivered, and Ethan is always looking to feed that ego. The only thing left is Lambert saying whose ass they kick and when!
Lambert asks if Masvidal thinks it’s necessary tonight, and Masvidal feels it is very necessary. So then, who will this arrogant crossover have in their crosshairs first?
AEW TNT Championship: Miro VS Eddie Kingston!
God’s Favorite Champion or not, the Bulgarian Brute has been the most brutal TNT Champion yet! But the Mad King knows a lot about getting brutal, so he’s ready to show there ain’t no favorites here! Will Kingston get his crown by dropping Miro on his head? Or will Miro at least redeem himself for getting dropped on Friday?
The introductions are made, Kingston is egging Miro on already but the belt is raised first. The bell rings and we see who’s just that much crazier!
Fans are thunderous already and Miro nods. Miro talks trash, Kingston talks trash, fans chant for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Miro gets annoyed and rushes in, but into a knee! Kingston facelocks but Miro holds off the DDT! Miro shoves, drop toeholds then goes for his camel clutch! Kingston slips out, wants the full nelson but Miro breaks free to bail out! Fans boo Miro as he paces and calms down. Kingston waits patiently, fans chant, “F him up, Eddie, F him up!” Miro returns, the two square off again, but Miro blocks the kick only to get a poke in the eye! Kingston CHOPS and CHOPS and has Miro in a corner for MACHINE GUN CHOPS! Kojima is here tonight…
Miro stops the chops, clinches Kingston but Kingston turns it around! EXPLODER! Miro bails out right away but Kingston keeps his cool. Kingston goes out after Miro with fans fired up behind him. But Miro lures Kingston in for a forearm! Miro kicks then whips Kingston into railing, then SPLASHES him against them! MULE KICK! Miro drags Kingston up to whip into more railing! But Kingston comes right back to BOOT Miro down! Kingston refreshes the count and aims from the apron to LEAP, but into a POWERSLAM!! Miro grits his teeth as he has Kingston down now. Miro drags Kingston up to RAM him into the post! Miro scoops Kingston again to RAM him into the other post!
Miro soaks up the heat from Chicago as the ref tells Miro to get this in the ring. The ring count is past 5 of 10, Miro stands Kingston back up and shoves him back in. Cover, ONE!! Kingston flips Miro off but Miro grabs that finger and BITES it! Kingston CLUBS Miro, Miro STOMPS the hand! Miro has wild eyes but Kingston CHOPS! And CHOPS! Miro KICKS Kingston, chokes him on the ropes, but lets off at 4! Miro KICKS Kingston in the back but Kingston just snarls! Kingston SLAPS Miro! And again! And again! Miro eggs Kingston on, Kingston fires off fast shots, but Miro DECKS Kingston with one! Miro then drops elbow after elbow before he covers, ONE!!
Fans fire up with Kingston’s toughness, but Miro fish hooks him into a chinlock! Fans rally as Kingston endures the squeeze. Kingston fights his way up, Miro squeezes tighter to bring him back down, but the fans are still behind Kingston. Kingston throws body shots, gets free and CHOPS again! Kingston powers up to CHOP, but Miro resists the saido! Miro punches and DROPKICKS Kingston to a corner! Miro seethes but then encourages fans to boo and jeer. Miro looks to the heavens, runs corner to corner and SPLASHES! Kingston CHOPS! And CHOPS! Miro is stinging and backs away, but runs back in to SPLASH!
Kingston pushes Miro back, Miro runs in again but this time Kingston dodges! Miro bounces off buckles, Kingston ENZIGURIS him down! Another shot to the neck and Miro goes to the apron. Kingston BLASTS him with a EuroUpper in the back! Fans fire up as Kingston aims, builds speed, but Miro ROCKS him first! Miro hurries back in while Kingston wobbles, but Kingston gets around to SAIDO! Fans fire up again as both men are down! Kingston sits up, Miro follows, and Miro grabs at Kingston. Miro throws a forearm, then keeps Kingston up. Miro throws another forearm, but Kingston shakes his head. Miro forearms again, Kingston grins and CHOPS, CHOPS and CHOPS!
Miro forearms again! And again! Kingston CHOPS, CHOPS and CHOPS! Miro ROCKS Kingston with a haymaker, then ROCKS him again! Kingston blocks the third to CHOP, CHOP and CHOP! And CHOP! SAIDO! Miro gets right up, but into another SAIDO! Cover, TWO!! Miro survives but he clutches his neck and Kingston is nodding. Chicago is thunderous for Kingston as he aims that fist! But Miro bails out before the Uraken comes around! Fans boo but Kingston builds speed again and DIVES! Tope suicida elbow sends Miro into the railing! Kingston drags Miro up, puts him in the ring, but Miro comes right back! Kingston dodges the Best Kick to PERFECT PLEX! Cover, TWO!!!
Kingston can’t believe Miro survives, but the fans haven’t given up! “Let’s Go, Eddie! Let’s Go, Eddie!” Miro slowly rises and Kingston goes to a corner. Both men are hobbling and feeling sore, but Kingston runs in! Miro dodges to fire off forearms into Kingston’s back over and over! The ref counts, Miro waistlocks but Kingston holds onto buckles! A buckle pad comes off as Miro GERMAN SUPLEXES Kingston away! Kingston staggers up and roars but Miro glares and runs in, BEST KICK!! Miro grins and then storms around. “GAME! OVAAAA~!” Stomp to the back, camel clutch, but Kingston holds off the deep stretch! Miro keeps to the regular stretch and bends Kingston back!
Fans are thunderous as Kingston endures! Kingston reaches out a hand, and falls to the ROPEBREAK! Miro is fuming as he has to let Kingston go but the fans are loving this! Miro sees the buckle pad, grips at it as he loses his cool, URAKEN!! TO A DDT!!! Cover, the ref is busy with the buckle pad, TWO!!! Kingston could’ve had it if not for that buckle pad!! The ref tries to defend himself but the fans tell the ref he messed Kingston up! Kingston gets Miro up but Miro is dead weight. Kingston still powers Miro up but Miro is fighting it! So Kingston unleashes Kowata Kicks! Kingston wants to use the bare buckle but the ref stops that by getting in the way!
Miro is grabbing the ropes, the ref tells Kingston to stop, but he completely misses Miro’s LOW BLOW MULE KICK! Kingston staggers back, Miro ROUNDHOUSES! Kingston stays up so Miro runs and runs and BEST KICKS!! Cover, Miro wins!!

The Mad King had a perfect strategy, but the ring is itself a variable no one can predict! Miro can barely hold up the title with how his arms feel from all that damage to his neck. Will his grip on the gold start to weaken from here on?

The Maniac knows all about the King of Cozy Style, and that’s partly why he’s pissed off! Only one man in all of NJPW was brave enough to accept this open challenge, and it was only the old guard that answered? Will Kojima prove he’s as crazy as Moxley says and find a way to win? Or will Moxley be the only one crazy enough to go all out in Chicago?
The bell rings and the two circle. Fans are fired up already and Kojima offers a handshake. Given that press conference from earlier in the week, Moxley slaps the handshake away to flip Kojima off! Kojima CHOPS Moxley so Moxley CHOPS back! They CHOP and CHOP and CHOP as fans let out “WOO~!” Moxley shifts to forearms but Kojima keeps pace! Fans fire up as they speed up with their back and forth! Moxley knees low, runs but into a kick. Kojima runs and runs Moxley over with a shoulder! Moxley staggers up but fans cheer for Kojima’s dancing pecs. Kojima runs at Moxley but Moxley ducks the lariat!
Moxley bails out, but Kojima pursues with a PLANCHA! Fans fire up as both men go down at ringside! Kojima stands first but Moxley follows. Kojima CLUBS Moxley over and over, puts him in the ring and fans are dueling as Moxley knocks Kojima down. Moxley runs to DIVE! Direct hit and Kojima hits railing! Moxley throws up rock ‘n’ roll horns and fans cheer. Moxley stands Kojima up to Russian Leg Sweep him into railing! The ref starts a ring count so Moxley leaves Kojima behind, but Kojima gets up and in at 5 of 10. Moxley looms over Kojima as he stands, and then he stands on Kojima’s hand to stomp it! Kojima clutches those fingers but Moxley grabs at them and pulls!
Moxley lets go of Kojima’s fingers and fans rally up. Kojima gets up, throws body shots but Moxley clinches for knees! Moxley puts Kojima in a corner and CHOPS him! Moxley talks some trash, then CHOPS Kojima again! The ref counts, Moxley lets off to take a bow, then he goes back to CHOP Kojima again! Kojima turns it around to MACHINE GUN CHOPS! Kingston must be so torn watching this! Kojima whips Moxley corner to corner and runs in to forearm smash! Fans fire up as Kojima goes up top! BIG ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Moxley survives but Kojima keeps his focus. Kojima powers up, stands Moxley up and fires of forearm after forearm!
Moxley ducks the discus to SAIDO! Kojima rolls to a corner, Moxley takes aim and runs in to clothesline! Moxley brings Kojima up and shouts, “OSU!” Kojima blocks the suplex, throws body shots, then turns things around to hoist Moxley up top. Kojima throws forearms, climbs up, but Moxley BITES Kojima’s forehead! But Kojima BITES Moxley’s forehead in return! Kojima stands Moxley up to SUPERPLEX! Fans fire up again while Moxley goes to the apron. Kojima goes after Moxley and the brawling returns! Kojima kicks low, reels Moxley in and hits an APRON DDT!! Moxley flounders and falls over but gets himself up and into the ring.
Kojima gets back in, gets Moxley up as fans duel. Kojima hits another DDT! Cover, TWO!! Moxley is still in this but Kojima kicks and cravats. Moxley resists the cutter to get a SLEEPER! Kojima reaches, fans rally, Moxley spins Kojima around for an X PLEX! Cover, TWO! Kojima survives but Moxley gets an ARMBAR! Kojima hurries to clasp hands and fans rally up. Kojima moves around and gets a ropebreak with a foot! Moxley lets go quickly, runs and KNEES Kojima down! Fans fire up, Moxley drags Kojima up again and underhooks the arms! Kojima holds off the Paradigm Shift to turn things around, BRAINBUSTER! Fans are thunderous as Kojima covers, TWO!
Kojima takes off the armband! Fans fire up as he runs, but Moxley ducks the lariat to GERMAN SUPLEX! Kojima gets up, Moxley LARIATS but Kojima stays up?! Moxley LARIATS again, but still Kojima stays up! Moxley is getting mad now, he runs but into Kojima’s LARIAT! Both men stay up but Kojima is steady. Kojima fires up, whips Moxley but Moxley KNEES him down! Moxley gets Kojima up, PARADIGM- NO! SHORT ARM LARIAT!! KOJI CUTTER!! But Kojima can’t cover from exhaustion! Fans duel as the brawling slowly speeds up again. Moxley gets the edge with many forearms, but runs into a ROLLING ELBOW! Moxley rebounds to LARIAT!! Cover, TWO!! Into a BULLY CHOKE!! Kojima endures the stretching headlock, fans rally up, and Kojima again gets a ropebreak. Moxley lets go in frustration but he gets Kojima up. Moxley talks trash and paces about. Kojima stands, Moxley KICKS him in the ribs! And KICKS! And runs, but Kojima blocks the kick to CLUB the leg! Kojima uses MONGOLIAN CHOPS! He’s calling upon his friend and tag partner, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, as he MONGOLIAN CHOPS again! And again! Moxley HEADBUTTS!
Kojima returns, swings but into Moxley’s underhooks! PARADIGM SHIFT!! But Moxley isn’t done, he drags Kojima up for a DEATH RIDER!!! The higher impact version hits and Moxley covers, Moxley wins!

Now that the battle is over, Moxley shows the respect Kojima has more than earned! Moxley says Kojima’s crazy in a good way and bows to the living legend. But with this big win, will- Wait, what is that on the titantron? MINORU SUZUKI!? The Meanest Man in the World comes to AEW!??! Moxley is absolutely stunned, not believing the titantron and the song playing right now. But yes, it IS Minoru Suzuki!! Suzuki goes to the ring and fans are thunderous as we reach the part in the song…! KAZE NI NARE!! Suzuki and Moxley stand face to face as fans lose their minds! And Suzuki even takes off his jacket!
Moxley says he has no problems throwing down, so Suzuki throws a forearm! Moxley bows in thanks then forearms right back! Suzuki gives it back, Moxley asks for a moment, then ROCKS Suzuki back! The forearms keep flying back and forth, faster and faster! Suzuki nods, runs and BOOTS! Moxley laughs along with Suzuki, then runs to LARIAT! Suzuki keeps himself standing and fans are thunderous again! Moxley runs, Suzuki gets around and gets the SLEEPER! Suzuki is showing Moxley how to do this hold properly, then spins him around! Gotch hold, lift, and PILEDRIVER! The Man with the Worst Personality had about the best debut he could in AEW, will he continue to be a lonely warrior against the former AEW World Champion?
AEW Women’s World Championship: Britt Baker w/ Jamie Hayter & Rebel VS Kris Statlander w/ Orange Cassidy!
The Doctor has always seen herself as the face of the Women’s Division, the reason fans tune in to watch, and “the baddest bitch on the block.” It became hard to argue with her after she won this title of Hikaru Shida. But the Galaxy’s Greatest Alien isn’t here to argue, she’s here to fight! Will Statlander win the fight and give Britt reason to work on herself? Or will the AEW Women’s Division still belong to Britt Baker, DMD?

Britt and Statlander circle and fans rally up. They tie up, Britt waistlocks, Kris wrenches free but Britt wrenches back. Britt has the wristlock, Kris cartwheels and wristlocks in return. Britt shifts, gets a modified Russian Leg Sweep to roll back and go after the arm, but Kris slips free quickly and waistlocks. Britt fights up, Kris shifts to a headlock, but Britt powers her to ropes. The ref counts the ropebreak, both let off but Britt gets a cheap shot in! Britt whips, Kris reverses but Britt sunset flips! Kris rolls through, high stacks but Britt scrambles away to ropes! Rebel and Hayter are there and Kris lets off. Britt gets up, fans rally up, and Kris points with a finger.
Britt stops the boop with a takedown! Kris gets free of the armlock again but now Britt points a finger. “D! M!” Kris stops that to turn the finger onto Britt! Kris makes Britt boop herself! Kris then whips Britt and runs her over with a shoulder! Fans fire up as Kris flexes those “laser guns.” Britt gets up to kick and CLUB Kris back, then whips her to a corner. Kris stops, elbows Britt away, then headstands to BOOT Britt down! Kris hurries up top but Britt is up to fire haymakers! Britt drags Kris out on the ropes for a DRAPING FISHERMAN NECKBREAKER! Rebel gets fans chanting for DMD as Britt kicks Kris out. But Orange Cassidy stands in the way of Rebel and Hayter!

Alex Marvez asks El Idolo about how his scheduled match with PAC isn’t happening now because of apparent travel issues. We know Team Andrade has done this to Death Triangle before, is he going to claim he isn’t behind these particular issues? Andrade says he is here to fight. Do you think he wants to miss this big, amazing night? Andrade asks his assistant, Jose, if he was the one that cancelled Pac’s flight. Jose says no. Andrade asks Chavo if he was the one who cancelled Pac’s flight. Chavo plays dumb, saying he has no idea about that. Chavo doesn’t even know American Airlines’ number. Not that anyone said Pac was using American Airlines, just saying.
But it doesn’t matter why or how Pac is missing All Out, the point is Pac is scared of El Idolo! Everyone knows that, and the same things happened with the “poor little Lucha Brothers” before. Team Andrade has offered their services, if they don’t want to accept the help then that is on them. So no, they did not cancel the flights. But this Friday on Rampage, El Idolo VS Lil’ Pac. The cage lowers and is secured in place, with escape NOT an option. To make the challengers’ entrance even greater, GANGSTA L and MUELAS DE GALLO are live and in person to rap the theme song! As for the Bucks, they of course have The Elite as their posse, but they’re kinda why there’s a cage. The introductions are made, the belts are raised, Callis joins commentary and the cage door is closed! Now we see how much blood, sweat and tears these blood brothers are willing to shed for glory and gold!
Fans are thunderous already for “CERO! MIEDO!” Fenix and Penta throw hands but the Bucks return them! The Lucha Bros get the edge and CLUB the Bucks down! The Lucha Bros whip, the Bucks dodge and start climbing! The Lucha Bros stop them, the Bucks kick them away, but Fenix runs and gets a boost to dropkick both Bucks down! Not that it matters, escape wouldn’t end this. The Lucha Bros put the Bucks in opposite corners, Penta KICKS Matt and Fenix CHOPS Nick. They whip the Bucks at each other, the Bucks dosido but the hermanos dodge and do the same! Penta runs at Nick, Fenix runs at Matt, GAMANGIRIS IN STEREO!
Penta keeps Nick down, Matt ROCKS Matt. Penta & Fenix double whip Nick, he goes to the apron and ROCKS Penta. Fenix runs in as Nick climbs, and SHOVES Nick into steel! Matt runs in but Penta pops him up to a headstand! Penta SUPERKICKS, then Fenix knuckle locks and CHOPS Matt! Nick returns the favor as he knuckle locks and CHOPS Penta! Fenix dodges Matt, Matt blocks the kick to catapult Fenix into a GAMANGIRI! Nick DOUBLE STOMPS Fenix then somersaults to DRAPING BACKSTABBER!
Fans boo as Macho Nick soaks up the heat. Penta ends up in the gap between ring and steel, and Matt WRECKS him with a dropkick! Nick and Matt focus on Fenix, Nick sets Fenix up for Matt’s POWERBOMB into the steel! Nick goes to the apron, “YOU’RE DEAD!” PENALTY KICK to Penta! Nick says that kick was good but Chicago still boos. Nick digs his boots into Penta while Matt CLUBS Fenix down. The Bucks regroup as Matt uses a chain to CHOKE Fenix! The fans chant, “Young Bucks Suck!” but Nick chokes Penta now. They again set Fenix up, Matt brings Fenix up but Fenix RANAS Matt into steel! Penta returns to SLINGBLADE Nick once, then SLINGBLADE twice!
Penta whips, Matt reverses, but Penta goes up and over in the corner to BACKSTABBER! Cover, Nick breaks it again! Fenix KICKS Nick, knuckle locks and CHOPS, then goes up and up and uses the cage to jump and arm-drag Matt! Nick tries to drop a senton but Fenix dodges! The Bucks survive and the Lucha Brothers catch their breath while the fans are thunderous again! “This is Awesome!” and is far from over! Fenix climbs up while Penta fetches Matt. They coordinate but Nick SHOVES Fenix into steel! Matt slips out of the piledriver, gets a SHARPSHOOTER while Nick SAIDOS Fenix on the apron! Penta endures, ropebreaks don’t matter in a cage, but Nick is there to CROSSFACE! The ol’ Cease ‘n’ Desist!
But Fenix dropkicks Nick into the post! And BOOTS Matt on his way in! Nick drags Fenix back out to scrape his sole on Fenix’s face. Fans rally up, the Bucks get Penta back up and Matt puts him in the ropes. Nick climbs up and aims, DRAPING SWANTON BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Penta survives so the Lucha Bros are still in this! The Bucks run at Fenix but he throws forearms on them. Fenix slingshots into a DOUBLE SUPERKICK! Fenix pinballs off the steel and ropes, then Nick drags him back in. Matt scoops Penta for a gut wrench and Nick climbs up. Nick aims, leaps, MISSILE DROPKICK MELTZER DRIVER! Double covers, TWO!!! The Bucks are furious but the fans are loving it!
Penta goes to a corner, fans are strongly behind the Lucha Brothers, but the Bucks have Fenix! B T E- NO! Fenix dodges and knees hit each other! Springboard but the crossbody is caught! Matt brings Fenix around but Fenix slips out and shoves Matt into Nick! Nick hits steel, Fenix runs the ropes but Matt LOW BLOW KICKS him straight up! No disqualification but still not cool! Matt LOW BLOWS Penta, too! The Bucks grin as they use the rules to their advantage, and Callis is saying this is what greatness is! Matt gets Fenix up, fireman’s carries, Nick is up top! Fans are thunderous again and Nick is furious. Nick sits Penta up and throws hands, then even tears at Penta’s mask! Matt does the same to Fenix! Fans boo at this disrespect as Penta’s face is a third of the way exposed. Fans chant “F*** THE YOUNG BUCKS!” as the Bucks get Fenix up for a DOUBLE LAWN DART into steel! Matt signals to Brandon Cutler, and he has a bag?! Cutler does his best to TOSS the bag into the ring, and he clears it! Matt smiles as he undoes his custom Nike to put on what’s in the bag! Matt has THE THUMBTACK SOLE NIKE!! Matt puts this shoe on as the fans chant “YOU SICK F***!”
Penta sits up in a daze, already badly bleeding from the fingernails that were digging into his forehead. Fenix crawls to ropes and Matt aims with the killer Nike! But Penta as the older brother shields his younger brother! Fans cheer this show of brotherly love, so Matt SUPERKICKS Penta down!! Fenix sees this but Nick brings him up and RAMS him into steel again. Matt sits up top, sticks his spiked Nike out, and Nick whips Penta, only for Penta to put on the brakes! Nick knees Penta low, then throws more knees and tries again! Penta gets TACKS TO THE FOREHEAD!! And he can’t get away, the mask is caught! Nick DIGS Penta’s forehead into the tacks!!
Matt and Nick make Penta suffer, then Matt holds Penta in place. Nick runs corner to corner to BOOT Penta in even deeper! Penta now has a crimson mask to make up for the gap in his real mask. The Bucks have Penta by his arms, but they see Fenix staggering over. Matt SUPER-TACK KICKS him! Nick POISON-RANAS Fenix down!! The Bucks get Penta again, B T E TRIGGER!!! Cover, Fenix breaks it?!?! Fans are electric for the heart and soul of the Lucha Brothers! Penta sputters but he’s fired up! The Bucks get Fenix, Matt has his spiked Nike like a boxing glove, but Fenix BOOTS him away! Fenix elbows Nick, dodges, Nick back drops him but he uses that to RANA Matt!
Fenix fires off mule kicks on Nick, runs at the corner to JUMP SOBAT Matt, then he hoists Matt up before he SCREW HIGH KCIKS Nick! Fenix sees the spiky Nike and he DECKS Nick! UPPERCUT to Matt! Fenix gets Matt in position, but not just for a Muscle or a Kinniku Man! He spins for a BLACK FIRE PILEDRIVER!!! Cover, TWO!??! Matt survives and fans are electric all over again! Fenix and Penta sputter through the blood as the Bucks crawl around. Penta gets Matt, fires himself up, and Fenix is up top! Nick shoves Fenix again but Fenix goes Spider-Man! Penta and Matt pursue, each going after the enemy brother. Penta drags Nick down, Matt drags Fenix down, and they stare down! CERO MIEDO, DOUBLE APRON PACKAGE PILEDRIVERS!! Now the older brothers brawl and fans go nuts! Penta headbutts away on Matt, runs in at the corner but Matt puts him up top. Matt ROCKS Penta, and ROCKS him again! Penta sits up first, Nick sits up and is bleeding from that Nike spike attack. Chicago wants them to “FIGHT FOREVER!” but this has to end somehow! Callis says the fans are heartless but he’s the one who applauded the Nike with spikes. Nick CHOPS Fenix, Fenix CHOPS Matt, so Matt CHOPS Penta and Penta CHOPS Nick! Nick SUPERKICKS Fenix! Fenix stays up to SUPERKICK Matt! Matt manages to stay up and he SUPERKICKS Penta! Penta wobbles but he SUPERKICKS Nick! Nick SUPERKICKS Fenix down! Penta SUPERKICKS Nick down, but then Matt SUPERKICKS Penta down! Matt says Bucks are superior for having the last man standing!
But then Fenix kips up to SUPERKICK Matt! Nick kips up to SUPERKICK Fenix! Penta kips up to SUPERKICK Nick! Matt ducks Penta’s roundhouse, DOUBLE CLOTHESLINES take the older brothers down! Fenix hurries after Matt, throws him into the steel, then coordinates with Penta again. But then Penta wants to escalate and points to the top! Fenix agrees, climbs up the steel, and Penta brings Matt around again. Fenix reaches the top, aims down below, but Nick SUPERKICKS Penta! Nick sees Fenix and hurries up after him! Fenix isn’t sure about climbing down so he PENALTY KICKS Nick down! Penta lines the Bucks up, Fenix LEAPS! ATMOSPHERIC CROSSBODY!!! Then the Lucha Brothers set Nick up, ASSISTED FEAR FACTOR!! Skye goes after Sakura, Bunny and Skye run but into DOUBLE TILT-O-WHIRL BACKBREAKERS! Student and teacher stare down but Abadon walks right over. KiLynn King comes out, just call her the King of Diamonds! Diamante and Nyla Rose hurry out, and Diamante hits King with SLICED BREAD! The Native Beast CLOBBERS Shida while Diamante and Kiera work together. Hmm, that combo seems familiar… Sakura CROSSBODIES Nyla into Shida, and Bunny is brawling with Jay more. Kiera SUPERKICKS King, she and Diamante work on hoisting her up but King fights them off. Sakura ends up on the apron, Shida throws hands but then Diamante runs in! Shida sends Diamante into Sakura, then BOOT WASHES them both! Shida ELIMINATES Sakura, then focuses on Diamante!
Kiera is up top but Nyla off King. Nyla PELES Kiera and ELIMINATES her! Then Nyla KICKS and CLOTHESLINES King out of the ring to ELIMINATE her! Shida fights Diamante off then dodges Nyla to RAN- NO! Riho goes after the Superbad Girl and Bunny and puts them on the ropes! DOUBLE 619! Hayter BOOTS Riho, Big Swole is here to go after Diamante! Nyla goes after Rosa, Hayter stomps Riho, and Bunny works with Ford to go after Jay since Tay Conti isn’t here yet. Swole BOOTS Diamante down then gets her up for a suplex! Hayter mule kicks Riho out of the ring and she hits the floor, but even Hayter says Riho is NOT eliminated because that was through the bottom rope! Diamante runs at Swole at the ropes but Swole dumps her out! Diamante CLUBS Swole, Swole runs in and HEADBUTTS Diamante! Diamante IS ELIMINATED, but then Hayter dumps and ELIMINATES Swole!!
Swole and Diamante still fight each other all the way to the back! Ford and Bunny still gang up on Jay, Hayter stomps Rosa. Nyla and Hayter work together to go after Rosa but the fans strongly rally behind her. Rosa boots them away, ROCKS Hayter then CLOBBERS Nyla! Ford and Bunny take their time with Jay while Rosa runs to DROPKICK Nyla against ropes! Rosa stomps a mudhole into Hayter and then runs to dropkick her down! The countdown is back once more, and that means the SPADES are here! And first out IS Tay Conti! Conti hurries to help Jay against Bunny and Ford, firing off on Bunny first! TAY K O!!
Red Velvet runs out and goes right at Hayter! Dodge and SPEAR!!! Velvet throws Hayter into a corner while Leyla Hirsch rolls in. Hirsch gets Ford for a GERMAN SUPLEX! Then GERMAN SUPLEX for Bunny! Jade Cargill is here as Hirsch GERMAN SUPLEXES Nyla! Cargill DECKS Hirsch just as Rebel arrives to further support Team DMD! Rebel DECKS Velvet, rains down fists, and then Hayter helps out. Nyla gets her shots in, Bunny is after Jay while Conti and Ford brawl in another corner. Velvet ducks and dodges Team DMD to TORNADO DDT! Conti is stuck on the top rope but she sits up to CLUB away on Ford!
Velvet throws Rebel out but Rebel thinks she’s safe as she lands on the apron. Rebel goes to step in, Velvet kicks her legs out and Rebel ends up doing the splits! Nyla HEADBUTTS Ruby down, but Rosa runs in to step up off Ruby and RANA Nyla! Fans are thunderous as Rosa KNEES Nyla for good measure! Rosa and Ruby go after Cargill with big forearms, then they double whip. Cargill reverses to DECK Rosa and pump handle FACEBUSTER Ruby! Conti and Ford brawl, Conti gets the drop sayanagi hat trick! Wait, Ford handsprings through, while Cargill just TOSSES and ELIMINATES Hayter! Britt’s plans fail here, someone will be gunning for her title! Cargill goes after old rival, Red Velvet, Conti whips Ford away and then gets around her to swing and- NO, Ford lands on her feet! Conti BOOTS but Ford HEEL KICKS!
Cargill tosses Velvet at the ropes but Velvet holds on! Cargill dumps Velvet up and out and ELIMINATES her! But then Nyla dumps and ELIMINATES Cargill!! Mark Sterling is furious but Vickie Guerrero laughs triumphantly. And while Conti and Ford still scrap, we have our final five of Ruby Soho, the Superbad Girl, the Blackbelt Brazilian, the Native Beast and La Mera Mera! Ford puts Conti up top, Conti fights back and shoves Ford away, and then Ruby and Rosa go after Nyla together! Conti body scissors Ford up and over then throws her down, Conti ELIMINATES Ford! Nyla fights off Ruby and Rosa, then DECKS Conti to ELIMINATE her!!
Five became three pretty quickly, but fans are fired up for Rosa and Ruby. They stand together against Nyla still but Nyla kicks Ruby down and shoves Rosa. Nyla uses both hands to SLAM Ruby down! Rosa staggers up into a fireman’s carry, and Nyla hits a SAMOAN DROP! Vickie cheers and Nyla says she’s going to be a two-time champion! Nyla stomps Ruby down and stands on her neck! Fans are thunderous for Ruby, even as Nyla puts her in a Tree of Woe! Nyla takes her time soaking up the heat but she spots Rosa getting up. Nyla runs in but Rosa dumps her to the apron! Nyla holds on but Rosa DROPKICKS and ELIMINATES her!!! And now it’s just Rosa and Ruby.
Fans are loving this as the two stare down from afar. Ruby and Rosa circle, approach, and are enjoying this moment. They each egg the other on, then start shoving. Rosa CHOPS Ruby but Ruby CHOPS back! Rosa CHOPS again, Ruby takes a moment and CHOPS back! Rosa talks trash before she CHOPS Ruby again! Ruby staggers into a EuroUpper, then Rosa CHOPS her again! And again! Rosa whips, ROCKS Ruby against ropes, but Ruby follows to ROCK her back! Rosa follows Ruby to ROCK her again, then scoops! Ruby slips out, wrenches and whips around and around to send Rosa up and out! Rosa holds on, gets Ruby in a facelock first and drags her up and out!
The two hold on, Rosa stomps and kicks at Ruby! Ruby keeps a leg on the apron and hits back. Ruby blocks a kick to KNEE Rosa! Rosa holds on with one hand and gets herself back up! Ruby reels Rosa in but Rosa fights back with elbows! Ruby gets a waistlock and tries to pull Rosa from the ropes! Fans duel for these two as Rosa drags Ruby back up to CLUB away on her! Rosa fireman’s carries, Ruby fights that and POSTS Rosa! Rosa holds on by a hand again, but Ruby brings her in for a RIOT KICK! ROSA FALLS, RUBY WINS!!

The Final Fight: Chris Jericho VS MJF!
Even after the Herculean gauntlet of the Five Labours of Jericho, Le Demo God could NOT defeat Maxwell Jacob Friedman 1v1. But MJF saw the desperation in Jericho’s eyes when he asked for this match, and of course pounced on this opportunity! Will the Salt of the Earth rub salt in all the wounds when HE gets to be the one to say, “I retired Chris Jericho?”
Because he already sees himself as the new “king” of pro-wrestling, MJF of course wears a king’s robe out to the ring. However, fans fire up for the live guitar performance of Judas, courtesy of Fozzy’s Billy Gray! Fans sing along and Jericho even brings Floyd the Baseball Bat with him as he soaks up the moments before what could be his last match in AEW or anywhere. And all of it just pisses MJF off. The bell rings and MJF waits on Jericho as he takes off his vest and gloves. Fans are thunderous for Jericho already and he fires up with it! MJF and Jericho circle, but then MJF grabs the vest and bails out with it to wipe his ass with it. MJF even tears up signs fans have in support of Jericho!
MJF goes back to the ring, he ties up with Jericho as fans call MJF an a-hole, and Jericho puts MJF in the corner. MJF pulls hair to get a headlock but Jericho powers out. Jericho and MJF ram shoulders but no one falls so they egg each other on. Jericho runs, they RAM shoulders again but again no one falls. MJF runs now, but Jericho dodges him to come back and he runs Jericho over! Jericho then runs at MJF again but into an arm-drag! Jericho arm-drags back, the double dropkicks cancel out, and MJF kips up! Fans are fired up again as the two stand off. MJF and Jericho start throwing hands and Jericho gets the edge. Jericho blocks a kick to trip MJF, but MJF resists the Walls!
MJF pulls hair to make this a cradle, TWO! Jericho gets up but MJF CLOBBERS him! Fans boo but MJF soaks up the heat. Jericho bails out, MJF pursues and throws hands on him! MJF puts Jericho against the railing to CHOP him! Jericho ROCKS MJF, stalks him around the way now, and then he RAMS MJF into railing! The railing comes loose and fans are getting even closer to this now as Jericho throws down a water bottle on MJF. Jericho gets MJF up to ROCK him with a haymaker, and MJF flounders back against event security. Jericho then THROWS MJF into barriers near the back! Fans fire up as Jericho shows off a sign, “HEY BUDDIES!” Jericho SLAPS MJF with that sign!
Jericho brings MJF around, punches him back towards the ringside, and he brings a stanchion with him? Jericho throws it down on MJF’s back! MJF scurries into the ring but Jericho pursues. Fans stay fired up for Jericho as he goes at the corner, TRIANGLE DROPKICK! MJF falls and fans fire up more as Jericho builds speed, only to baseball slide into the apron skirt! MJF hammers away, throws knees into Jericho again and again, then gets space to soak up the heat. MJF goes back to Jericho, puts him back in the ring, then he stomps Jericho’s hands. MJF clamps onto an arm for a mounted armlock and Jericho endures.
MJF tells fans to shut up with the clapping and cheer so they boo MJF instead. Jericho fights up and CHOPS MJF! Jericho runs, but into an ARMBAR DDT! Cover, TWO! MJF wrenches the arm, CLUBS it, and then mocks the fans that he can’t hear them. MJF CLUBS the arm more, reels Jericho up and suplexes high and hard! Cover, TWO! MJF snarls as he looms over Jericho. MJF mocks the clapping by clapping with Jericho’s hand, then he BITES the fingers! The ref counts, MJF stops and taunts the fans more. MJF gets Jericho up, makes vulgar gestures with Jericho’s hand, then goes to suplex. Jericho blocks to snap suplex MJF! Fans cheer as MJF writhes and Jericho fires himself up.
MJF gets up as fans rally for Jericho. Jericho throws forearms and CHOPS, then CHOPS again. Jericho whips and CLOBBERS MJF with a cross chop! Then a BULLDOG! MJF staggers up, Jericho spins him around, TIGER BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! MJF crawls to a corner and Jericho stomps and CHOPS him! Jericho has fans fire up as he CHOPS MJF again! Jericho whips corner to corner, MJF elbows him away then hops up to DOUBLE STOMP the bad arm! MJF brings Jericho along by his arm and WRINGS him out into the buckles! Cover, TWO! Jericho stays in this and MJF grows frustrated. Fans rally back up as MJF stands and brings Jericho back up.
MJF CLUBS Jericho, throws a headbutt, then CHOPS Jericho against ropes. MJF flips off the fans to piss them off more before he CHOPS Jericho again. MJF struts around, hip thrusts at the fans, but then Jericho dumps him out on the apron! MJF hotshots the arm, reels Jericho in, APRON HEATSEEKER!! Jericho flops out of the ring and MJF lets the ring count start! Jericho is still down as the count reaches 5 of 10, then 7! Fans rally for Jericho, they don’t want it to end with a cheap finish! Jericho springs up at 8 and slides in at 9! And then he avoids MJF’s stomp! MJF hurries out after Jericho, and LIONSAULTS?! Jericho avoids it and then pops MJF up to APRON POWERBOMB him!
MJF is down, perhaps regretting going out of his comfort zone. Jericho gets in the ring and MJF follows. Fans rally up again as MJF gets frustrated and stands. Jericho stands to ROCK MJF with a right! MJF body shots but Jericho haymakers! MJF returns with forearms, the two brawl but MJF rakes the eyes! Jericho still ducks the punch to throw a body shot! Jericho runs, is put on the apron, but he goes up top and leaps! MJF steals the CODE BREAKER!! Cover, TWO!! MJF does his best Jericho imitation but Jericho doesn’t lose to it! MJF gets up to get Jericho up but the pain his own back brings him down. MJF is pissed and forces himself up while fans still rally.
Jericho sits up, MJF brings him up but Jericho trips MJF! Jericho has the legs but MJF kicks him away! Jericho runs in to run MJF over, then LIONSAULTS! Jericho’s hits! Cover, TWO!! Fans cheer, “YOU STILL GOT IT!” as Jericho gets up again. MJF is in a corner, Jericho runs in and clotheslines! And unleashes point-blank lariats again and again! Fans count 10, Jericho puts MJF up top to CHOP! Jericho climbs, and he rains down fists! Fans count 10 this time, but MJF turns Steiner into a SUPER SIT OUT POWERBOMB! But MJF’s own back is wracked with pain! MJF crawls as fans rally up for Jericho. Cover, TWO!! MJF is too sore to be upset as he and Jericho go to opposite ends.
MJF drags himself up the ropes while Jericho sits up. MJF hobbles over, and he BITES Jericho’s forehead! The ref reprimands, MJF stops, and MJF puts Jericho up top. MJF throws forearms, climbs up, but Jericho resists the superplex. Jericho throws body shots, shoves MJF down and then adjusts to FLYING CODE BREAKER! Cover, TWO!! MJF survives and Jericho is down, but here comes Wardlow?! But wait, so does Jake Hager! They brawl to keep each other from helping their team leader! Referees rush out to get them out of here, but MJF has crawled to get Floyd! BASEBALL BAT TO THE HEAD!! Fans boo but the ref missed it completely!
MJF aims from the corner as Jericho slowly staggers up. “GOOD-BYE, JERICHO!!” MJF runs to STEAL JUDAS EFFECT!!! Cover, ROPE- WHAT?! MJF WINS?!?!

Wait, no, another ref points out the ropebreak to Aubrey! MJF is confused, is this changing the result?! The announcement is made, the ropebreak was spotted and so this match CONTINUES! MJF is furious and argues with Aubrey but Jericho rolls MJF up! TWO!!! Jericho hurries up to his feet, MJF ducks Judas Effect to get the SALT OF THE EARTH FUJIWARA!!! MJF thrashes the arm, Jericho endures, fans are going nuts as Jericho turns it to a cover! TWO, and MJF goes back for the arm! Jericho pushes through to get the legs! MJF fights but Jericho hits him back and goes to turn MFJ over! MJF resists but can’t hold it off, WALLS OF JERICHO!!!
Fans are electric as MJF endures Jericho’s signature hold! MJF bites his own fingers to ignore the pain in his back! MJF reaches but Jericho drags him away, and sits DEEP! MJF taps, Jericho wins!!!

CM Punk VS Darby Allin!
After seven years of everyone everywhere in pro-wrestling asking again and again, the Best in the World is finally getting back in the ring! And no better place to do it than in Punk’s backyard of Chicago! But Darby’s entrance starts with another masterful vignette. “Most people tiptoe through life, hoping they make it safely to death. – Earl Nightingale.” The body bag is back, and it’s got “BEST IN THE WORLD” written all over it. The bag is brought up into the air by a helicopter, where Darby is perched in the doorway. They fly together, then Darby drops out to go past the body bag. The Relentless One “lands” and makes his entrance to the ring!
The Icon sees him out, but lets him handle this one alone, just as he promised. Darby’s skateboard has half Punk, half skull on it, more imagery predicting a possible outcome for tonight. But as soon as Darby’s music stops, the chants of “C M PUNK! C M PUNK!” start up again. Cult of Personality plays and Chicago once again belongs to one man! Darby soaks up the moment just as much as anyone, and Punk decides to sit down with him! Fans cheer as the two stare down this way, “This is Awesome!” “Holy s*it!” Darby stands, takes off the jacket and shows the pant has expanded to cover half his body, not just his face! Punk likes that, and the bell rings!
Punk and Darby circle, tie up, and are in a collar ‘n’ elbow deadlock. Darby gets under to arm-drag Punk down, and Punk nods that Darby made a smart move. The two reset, circle again as fans rally and duel hard as they have all night, and Punk tests the waters with kicks. They tie up, Punk headlocks but Darby powers out, only for Punk to run him over with a shoulder! Darby scrambles away and Punk seems to be getting back into things. Punk and Darby circle as fans chant, “WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK!” Punk pretends like he doesn’t understand who that’s for and points between him and Darby. Of course fans cheer harder for Punk!
Punk and Darby feel things out again, tie up, and Punk headlocks. Punk grinds the hold, Darby powers up and wrenches to a hammerlock. Punk works on an escape but Darby spins through to hold onto the hammerlock! Fans rally and duel again as again Darby spins through with Punk to hold the hammerlock down. Punk tries to reach back, and he manages to snapmare but Darby rolls through again to keep the hammerlock! Darby uses his forehead for a point of leverage but Punk sits up. Punk gets to his feet, Darby schoolboys, ONE! Punk elbows Darby down and shakes out his arm. Fans cheer as Punk keeps up with Darby. Punk scoops and SLAMS Darby, covers, ONE!
Punk wraps onto Darby with a chinlock but Darby endures as Punk leans on him. Darby fights up, Punk shifts to a headlock but Darby powers out and follows to then shoulder tackle! Things speed up, Punk hurdles and runs but Darby drops and leaps, into a fireman’s carry! Darby gets right out of there to not even give Punk the GTS! Darby is a bit frustrated he got caught, but Punk patiently waits for Darby to come back. Punk appreciates the “YOU STILL GOT IT!” chants as Darby slowly returns. Darby and Punk reset, tie up, and Punk headlocks. Darby powers out, Punk blocks the hip toss to whip but Darby goes up to flying arm-drag! And back body block in the corner! Then another!
Darby fires up as Punk sits down, and Darby stands Punk up to whip him corner to corner. Punk reverses hard, and Darby gets POSTED! Darby falls out of the ring and writhes as the ref checks on him. Darby’s back already shows the welt from hitting the square steel but Punk goes out after Darby. Punk gets Darby in the ring and shoots the half, TWO! Darby is still in this but Punk goes right at that welt with a knee. Darby resists but Punk gets a partial Bow ‘n’ Arrow stretch. Fans rally and duel, Darby gets the ROPEBREAK! Punk stomps Darby as he lets off, then apologizes to the ref as he gets Darby up. BIG back suplex, cover, TWO!
Punk digs a knee into Darby’s back as he gets the arms for a motorcycle stretch. Fans rally, Darby endures, but Punk shifts to a chinlock. Darby fights up, throws body shots, runs but into a kitchen sink knee! Punk catches his breath, looms over Darby and brings him up by an ear. Punk gets around to put Darby in a cobra twist! Darby endures, fans rally and duel but Punk cranks on the chinlock part of the stretch. Darby fights free, throws body shots and forearms! Punk wobbles, Darby runs but Punk tilt-o-whirl BACKBREAKERS! Cover, TWO! Punk goes right back to a chinlock to grind Darby down. Darby still endures as the fans still duel.
Darby fights up, but Punk gets him back in that cobra twist! Darby pries his way free, Punk CLUBS him in the ribs then whips him to ropes, but Darby turns things around to THROWBACK STUNNER! Both men are down and fans fire up! The standing count begins, Darby and Punk slowly rise at 3 and stand at 4. Darby throws SLAPPING strikes, runs, dodges and springboards to COFFIN SPLASH! Darby then gets Punk’s arm, wrenches it and steps through to La Magistrol! TWO, Darby runs in but into a fireman’s carry! Darby sunset flips it, TWO! Darby fires off strikes and runs in, CODE RED! Cover, TWO!! Punk survives and fans are thunderous again!
Fans rally and duel more as Darby drags himself towards the corner. Darby climbs up but Punk hurries to shove him down! Darby is stuck up top but Punk climbs up behind him. Punk gets Darby up for a SUPER BACK- NO! Darby made it a crossbody! Cover, TWO!! Darby and Punk crawl around, Darby gets to a corner and stands to run in, jackknife cover! TWO as Punk bridges and spins, but then he fireman’s carries, G T S!! But Darby falls out of the ring!! Punk can’t believe he misjudged that one! But he lets the ring count climb, and it gets past 5! Darby still doesn’t move, but then it gets to 8 and Darby springs up to get in at 9!!
Punk keeps his cool and he says he’s going to end this one now. Punk stands Darby up, throws heavy forearms over and over, then puts Darby in a corner. Punk goes corner to corner, to SHINING WIZARD! And then he reels Darby in for a short arm LARIAT! Fans fire up as Punk says night-night! Punk goes back to Darby, drags him back up, but Darby is deadweight! Punk still drags Darby up, fireman’s carries again, but Darby throws elbows to the chin and neck! Darby brings Punk down with those shots and he keeps going! Fans are thunderous as Darby finally lets off. Punk drags himself to the apron but Darby builds speed and DIVES! Direct hit with that Coffin Tope!
But speaking of, Darby goes up top as Punk is on the outside. SUPER SWANTON BOMB to a standing CM Punk! Both men are down again but “THIS IS AWESOME!” as Darby puts Punk in the ring. Darby climbs up top with Punk in a drop zone! Darby mocks the night-night, and COFFIN DROPS but FLOPS as Punk sits up! Punk is clearly having a lot of fun now but Darby catches him to a ghost pin! TWO, and fireman’s carry! GO TO- NO! Darby trips Punk, ties up the legs, LAST SUPPER! TWO!?! Punk narrowly escapes but Darby runs in, into a wicked calf kick! Fans are thunderous again as Punk watches Darby go to a corner. Punk runs in but into BOOTS!
Darby runs in to hop up, but no throwback or Poison-Rana! Fireman’s to GO TO SLEEP!! Cover, Punk wins!!

It was a true homecoming for Punk, and he earned this one from the Relentless young star! CM Punk tells the camera, “It’s not like I f**king forgot.” Seven years of waiting and wondering, and now no one has to doubt if Punk’s back! Sting returns, makes sure Darby is good, then offers a handshake to Punk. Fans cheer as Punk accepts it! They both then go to help Darby, and Punk assures Darby that he has Punk’s respect, too. Chicago sure shows their respect for Darby, but Darby wants to stand up on his own first. Darby gets to his feet with the ropes, Punk offers him a handshake, and Darby accepts it. What is next for all these icons, both past, present and future?
Paul Wight VS QT Marshall w/ The Factory!
The Giant said there was going to be no BS now that he was here in AEW, but there has been plenty of utter crap coming out of The Gifted and his stable of henchmen. After the Gunn Club shocked us all by turning on Wight for their own selfish reasons, has QT lucked out in not needing to face the World’s Largest Athlete? Or has all this only awoken the anger in this wrestling giant?
Wight makes his entrance and gets in the ring, and Aaron Solo(w) rushes at him! Wight catches him pretty easily and throws him right out! Nick Comoroto tries but Wight SHOVES him out! QT attacks, the bell rings and Wight grabs QT with both hands for a HEADBUTT! QT staggers away, Wight throws body shots on him in the corner, then rips open the fancy new Factory shirt to CHOP QT right on the chest! QT staggers away, stinging from that one, but Wight just clamps onto QT again. Wight hushes the crowd before he CHOPS QT again! QT crawls but Wight stands on his back! The ref counts, Wight hops off and then stalks QT back to a corner.
Fans fire up as Wight has QT up again, for another CHOP! And then CHOPS again! Wight whips QT out then into the corner, but QT boots back! QT runs to dropkick the legs out! QT throws off what’s left of his shirt to throw hands! Wight just shoves QT away but QT comes back to throw more hands! QT SHOTGUNS Wight down, then covers, TWO! And QT goes flying out of the ring! The Factory regroups, QT gets back in and runs at Wight, but Wight shoves away the cutter! Wight grits his teeth as QT stands up, and Wight rallies with big shoulders and clotheslines! Wight whips and back drops QT! Fans fire up as Wight roars, but Solo tries to grab at the Giant!
Wight drags Solo up the apron and onto the top rope, to CHOP him upside-down! Solo falls and flounders, Comoroto runs in but into the GIANT PUNCH! Wight runs to POUNCE Comoroto out of the ring! QT leaps from the top rope, into a choke grip! GIANT CHOKE SLAM! Cover, Wight wins!

Lee Johnson. And Dustin’s baby brother, Cody Rhodes. Malakai left Cody’s body all but lifeless, a crutch bent around his knee, and we have still yet to hear from him. Malakai wants Dustin to think about that as we near Wednesday. “Think about that when you realize, Dustin… That it’s time to pay the boat man’s toll.” Will the Natural’s ride be ended abruptly by the House of Black?
AEW World Championship: Kenny Omega w/ Don Callis VS Christian Cage!
The Cleaner, the Best Bout Machine, and the leader of The Elite has become more than just a #BeltCollector. He’s become a force to be reckoned with, but also the most obnoxious jackass outside of perhaps MJF. Captain Charisma tried humbling Omega by taking the Impact World Championship from him, but that only enraged the egotistical AEW World Champion more. It is time to finally have it out for #PrettyPlatinum. It is time to finally settle scores and put this to rest. It is time to finally go All Out! Will Omega be able to hold on to the most important belt in his collection? Or will we be calling Christian “Captain Double Champion” here tonight?
The introductions are made, the top AEW belt is raised, and we see if history repeats itself!
Omega tries to circumvent everything by running at Christian before the bell! Christian dodges, the V-Trigger hits buckles and now the bell rings as Christian hooks the arms! Omega powers out of the Killswitch and wags his fingers. Omega pie faces Christian so Christian pie faces back. They start throwing slaps, then they start throwing haymakers in a true brawl! Fans fire up as Christian gets the edge then runs, into a SNAP RANA! Christian bails out, Omega takes a moment to revel in himself and then Omega builds speed. Omega slides, Christian stays clear and CHOPS him in return! Christian CHOPS Omega again, then he whips him hard into railing!
Christian fetches Omega to whip him hard into the railing again! The ref wants Christian to go to the ring so he does, but to climb up the corner! Omega staggers, Christian SUPER CROSSBODIES! Direct hit and both men are down! Callis coaches Omega up but Christian is after him first. Fans rally, Callis barks at Christian but then scurries away. Christian refreshes the count to then ROCK Omega. Christian whips, Omega reverses and Christian runs into steel steps! Omega gets into the ring to refresh the count before he fetches Christian. Omega looks under the ring, tells the ref to shut up about it, and then pulls out a table!
Omega drops the table onto Christian, then goes up to the apron while Callis distracts the ref. Omega LEAPS off the apron to DOUBLE STOMP the table into Christian! The table still splinters but Christian is stuck under the wreckage! Omega says, “Oops! Did I do that?” Omega and Callis now bring out another table together! They set it up and the ref reprimands them but also starts the ring count. Omega drags Christian up, pretends he can’t hear the fans, but Christian blocks the suplex! Omega still tries, but Christian snap suplexes Omega to the floor! The ref gets frustrated and tells them to get in the ring.
Christian puts Omega in, runs and CHOPS him against ropes! Omega staggers about, Christian CHOPS more then whips. Omega reverses, Christian holds ropes, and he lets Omega back flop from his dropkick! Christian goes for the legs, wants a Cloverleaf, but Omega thumbs him in the eye! The ref reprimands but Omega runs in and INVERTED BULLDOGS Christian! Cover off the “slam dunk,” TWO! Omega clamps onto Christian with a chinlock and grinds him side to side! Christian endures, fans rally up but Callis barks for Christian to quit. Omega tries to make it a camel clutch but Christian keeps his arms free. Omega JAMS his elbow into Christian’s head and then puts him in a corner.
Omega CHOPS Christian, digs his boot into Christian’s throat, then lets off as the ref counts. Omega brings Christian around, back suplexes high and hard, then covers. TWO, and Omega is annoyed. Christian gets to a corner, Omega storms over but Christian has a leg guard. Omega stomps through it, gets Christian up to CHOP him again and again! Omega hoists Christian up top, CHOPS and CLUBS him more, but Christian fires off haymakers! Christian wants a DDT but Omega SHOVES Christian to the floor! Fans boo as Omega goes out to fetch Christian, but again the ref wants this in the ring. Omega and Callis inspect railing nearby and find a pretty steady one.
Omega jumps up but whoops! Bit of a slip! Omega is fine and laughs it off, he just has to be a bit more careful. Omega turns around to go again, MOONSAULT to knock down Christian! “Let’s face it, I meant to do that.” Omega puts Christian in and covers, TWO! Christian gets up, shoves Omega and eggs him on. Omega SLAPS Christian around, SLAPS through the guard, then brings Christian up. Christian hits back with body shots, uppercuts, then whips Omega corner to corner. Omega reverses hard and Christian bounces off buckles! Fans rally and duel as Omega gets Christian up, AOI SHOUDOU USHIGOROSHI! Cover, TWO!!
Omega keeps his cool and even applauds himself as he steps on Christian to go to the corner. Omega climbs up top, aims, but Christian trips him up! Omega lands on his best bout machine and Christian ROCKS him with an uppercut! Christian climbs up, and SUPER STEINERS Omega down! Fans fire up as both men are down but Callis grows worried. A standing count begins, the fans still duel, and Omega sits up at 3. Christian follows, the two slowly stand and the hands start flying! Omega JABS, Christian uppercuts, repeat! Omega JABS more and more, then shakes out his hand from hitting too hard!
Omega stands Christian up, whips him to a corner and runs in, but Christian dodges to climb up and rain down fists! Omega stops him at 5 and has the Electric Chair! Christian slips out, shoves Omega back into the corner and finishes up the punches! Christian gets another 15 for 20 total, then he stands on Omega at the ropes! Christian slingshots to UPPERCUT! Omega wobbles, Christian goes up top but Omega gets under the leap. Christian ducks the Polish Hammer to trip Omega up but again Omega fights off the Cloverleaf with fingers to the eyes! The ref reprimands, Christian holds on but Omega kicks him away! Christian bounces off buckles into a fireman’s carry!
Omega (and fans) say, “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” But then Christian slips out and hits a REVERSE DDT! Cover, TWO! Omega survives again but fans chant “HE ESCAPED!” in reference to Christian. Christian aims at Omega from the corner, runs in at Omega but into a KNEE! Fans fire up and Callis is relieved as Omega gets Christian back up. Omega reels Christian in, gets him up, but Christian slips out to fire off hands! Omega RAMS Christian into the corner, fires off more, then CHOPS! Christian ROCKS Omega with another uppercut, then climbs up to reel him in. TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO!! Omega survives again but Christian keeps focus.
Omega staggers up, Christian hooks the arms but Omega elbows out this time. Omega WHEEL KICKS Christian in the back and puts him in the corner! Omega goes corner to corner and V-TRIGGERS! But Omega isn’t done, he gets Christian up for a full nelson, SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Christian sits up and sputters, then falls over as Omega gets up again. Fans want that “One More Time!” so Omega full nelsons to SNAP DRAGON again! Omega grins as Christian sputters and flounders. Omega aims his finger gun, but Christian aims his middle finger. Omega hits a THIRD SNAP DRAGON! BANG, V-TRIGGER!! Christian is on the apron but Omega pulls him into the ropes!
The ref counts, Omega lets go and stomps Christian into the apron now. Omega goes out, he and Callis laugh as Omega stands Christian up. The table is nearby but Christian holds onto ropes! The ref counts, Omega keeps trying but Christian holds on. Omega CLUBS Christian, tries the full nelson again, but Christian fights free! Christian throws elbows, turns things around and has the arms! But Omega POSTS Christian, then Electric Chair lifts! Christian fights free and HOTSHOTS Omega! Christian then SPEARS Omega off the apron and THROUGH the table!! Fans lose their minds while Christian writhes and Callis fans Omega with his suit jacket.
Both men are down as fans chant, “This is Awesome!” Christian and Omega slowly rise, the ring count passes 5 of 10, and Callis gives Omega a hand. Both men are in at 8 of 10 and fans are thunderous as this continues. Christian SPEARS Omega from behind! And then SPEARS him again!! Cover, TWO!!! Omega survives a total of three Spears but Christian isn’t done there. Christian climbs up and FROG SPLASHES onto knees! Omega saves himself and he hurries to go after Christian. Omega tries to gut wrench but his back is bothering him too much! Callis coaches Omega on and Omega POINT-BLANK V-TRIGGERS! Omega talks trash before he V-TRIGGERS again!
Omega double finger guns, runs in, but Christian blocks to fire off uppercuts! V-TRIGGER! Ripcord and FINAL FLASH! Christian is in a heap but Omega gets him up, double underhooks but no Tiger Driver! Christian back drops, Omega sunset flips but Christian rolls through and gets the legs! Omega flails and reaches to resist but Christian drags Omega away for the CLOVERLEAF! Callis signals to the back, and here come the Good Brothers! The ref is busy with Callis as Christian shoulders Karl Anderson down, but Luke Gallows grabs Christian’s arm! How can the ref not know this?! Omega runs in, Christian dodges and Gallows takes the V-Trigger!
Christian has the arms, Omega pops free to Electric Chair but Christian slips out to KILLSWITCH!! Cover, TWO?!?! Omega survives Christian’s best shot this time, having felt this from the AEW Rampage premiere! Fans rally up as Christian drags Omega to a corner. Christian puts Omega on the top rope but Callis himself gets in the ring? Christian runs the carney SOB off, goes back to Omega, and he ROCKS Omega with an uppercut. Christian climbs up, hooks Omega up again, but Omega digs fingers into Christian’s face! Omega goes to Electric Chair from up there?! SUPER ONE WINGED ANGEL!?!? Cover, Omega wins!

Callis celebrates with his cash cow- er uh, surrogate son as he retains the top title! The Young Bucks return to celebrate with Omega despite their own loss, and The Elite still stands tall. The Good Brothers do the rest as they beat up Christian on Omega’s behalf! The Bucks even join in, but here come the Jurassic Express! They’re friends of Christian’s but are heavily outnumbered! Omega even CLOBBERS Luchasaurus with the title belt! Omega gets a mic to say, “Are you finally starting to understand, Chicago? Best in the World this, Best in the World that. I don’t care if you have hometown heroes. I don’t care where you came from. NO ONE is on my level!”
Omega says he’s proven it day in, day out, month in, month out, year in and year out! It doesn’t matter where he goes, there’s always one thing for sure: “When it comes to this AEW belt, the only people that would ever have a chance to beat me, ever, are either not here, already tired, or they are already dead.” But wait! The lights go down! And when they come back up… it’s ADAM COLE?!?! Chicago goes nuts as Cole is now ALL ELITE, BAYBAY!! Talk about a shock to the system! Omega isn’t sure what to make of this since last time these two were face to face, “ADAM COLE, BAYBAY!” was trying to take his spot.
Fans are losing their minds, and Cole SUPERKICKS Jungle Boy!! Cole isn’t here to take anyone’s spot, he wants to be in the club again! The Bucks kiss Cole on the cheeks and Omega is relieved. “In the worlds of the all mighty Steve Urkel, ‘Did I do that?'” People thought he was legitimately afraid, didn’t they? Cole’s one of their best buds! Tell ’em, Adam! “Who’s ready for story time with Adam Cole, baybay? Boys and girls, it’s official: The Elite is the most dominant faction in the history of this business! And ain’t no chance in hell anybody’s gonna stop us!” Fans love the reference and Omega says, “That’s what I call a happy ending.”
So the only thing left is to send the fans home happy. Without any further ado, good-bye and- Wait. Is that FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIE?! It’s Daniel… No no no. It’s BRYAN FREAKIN’ DANIELSON!!! Fans chant “YES! YES! YES!” as AEW just got that much bigger! Bryan gets in the ring and stands with Christian and Jurassic Express! Maybe now The Elite has someone on their level here! Omega bails out and the brawl begins!! YES KICKS over and over for Nick Jackson while Christian, JB and Luchasaurus clear the ring! GERMAN SUPLEX for Nick! TAIL WHIP for Gallows! Nick flounders up, fans fire up as Bryan aims, RUNNING KNEE!! What was that about dominance?!
My Thoughts:
Well, we can all say how we felt about All Out 2021, if it looked good, bad, somewhere in between on paper, and I myself felt certain moves weren’t for the best. But in actual execution, AEW cannot be doubted when it comes to giving us pro-wrestling gold. Well, I still feel high levels of cringe with this Dan Lambert stuff. He’s just yelling while using needless reverse psychology to make fans like AEW more when so much is still so good. For one, when a kickoff show match is as good as anything on the main card, that is when you know a company knows what they’re doing as far as their PPV events.
Well, okay, Paul Wight whooping The Factory should’ve been the Buy-In because it was the least of the main card. Hell, that should’ve been on Dynamite and then we could’ve gotten Malakai Black VS Dustin Rhodes here and now so if Cody’s coming back, he’d do it on a PPV. So okay, two points during this show that didn’t feel any different from what WWE might do, but AEW isn’t and will never be “perfect” either. These are just two weak points that stand out on an honestly AWESOME card. Miro VS Kingston was an awesome opener, Moxley VS Kojima was the perfect follow-up, they fired the crowd up after that bit of a break after the Buy-In.
Baker VS Statlander being a kind of audible to me where we should’ve had maybe Baker VS Rosa here as a culmination of things, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But because Statlander is a top level competitor, and because of the character work from just Cassidy where he got so fired up for once, that really brought this match alive here. Britt with that shoutout to her man was a great bit of foreshadowing, she’s a master at that stuff. Britt of course retains because as I’ve been saying, we are going to get and need to have Britt VS Rosa again. But to a great surprise, Ruby Soho got to be the Joker AND win the Casino Battle Royale. A title feud is a great way to get Ruby going for fans to be reintroduced to her now that she isn’t in the WWE, but it’d be almost too much of a shock if Ruby took the title.
Tonight’s steel cage match was perhaps the best cage match in history. Because with it not allowing escape, they didn’t overly focus on the cage itself, and we just ended up with an amazing tag match that was also in a cage. Okay, it was odd for Bucks to try an escape when it was clearly stated escapes don’t matter, but perhaps that’s a nod to cage match instincts based on tradition. And in the end, the right decision was made, Lucha Bros get the belts and usher in a new chapter for the tag division. The Final Fight was of course not the final fight for Jericho, but I do really like that they made us think MJF was gonna win on a technicality. In order to think outside the box in wrestling these days, you have to wait until the last second to reveal the trick, and that was a great one.
Punk VS Darby was just about what I expected it to be and what it should’ve been. Punk was getting into the swing of things again, trying to build up to a good speed given Darby is so fast without even trying, and we got a good back and forth on Darby’s reckless nature working in his favor but then also costing him at times. Of course Punk wins, this is his return in his hometown, you GOT to give- Oh wait that’s Best Friends. Well no, you still give the people what they want for a time like this. All Out may’ve been hyped up mostly about this match, but the ups and downs of this can’t take away from the rest. This was a solid match with a lot of fan excitement, and welcome back, Punk.
Again, Wight VS QT was whatever, but I appreciated the promo time given to Moxley and Malakai to hype up this Wednesday in Cincinnati. Moxley VS Suzuki and Malakai VS Dustin are reasons to watch in themselves, that’s going to be a great night. And then the main event here, it felt a lot faster and quicker than it perhaps was, but that’s because there weren’t as many shenanigans as usual. Which makes sense, the Bucks were battered and Cutler had his time to shine with them. Omega wins here, as I figured he would, but how amazing it is to see that both Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan chose AEW right now. Cole rejoining The Elite and Bryan standing against them is perfect to give even more momentum to year three. We honestly could be in the midst of a pro-wrestling turning point and not know it yet.

The teams don’t sort out as The Rascalz just DIVE onto The Dogs! The fans fire up as then Top Flight PLANCHA onto Moxley & Pac! Claudio is caught off guard, and Myron DUMPS him out! Claudio runs back in, he pops Myron up, but Myron slips free! Myron goes Matrix, PELES, and the bell rings! Claudio tumbles out, Myron throws off his shirt and builds speed to FLY! Moxley flexes while he paces around Myron, then drags him around. Moxley pushes Myron to a cover, ONE! Moxley grabs Myron’s legs, stomps him in the gut, and the rest of the team is throwing The Rascalz around on the outside! Moxley drags Myron around to clamp on a headlock, and he grinds Myron down. Myron endures, just working to avoid a Bully Choke, only to end up in a straitjacket. Moxley then short arm LARIATS Myron down! Tag to Claudio, he and Moxley mug Myron, then tag to Pac. They double whip to scoop, BACKBREAKER, and basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Myron toughs it out but Pac stays close.
Pac taunts Myron and The Rascalz, then stomps Myron down. Pac bumps Myron off buckles, tags Finlay, and Finlay tags Connors. The Dogs mug Myron, then BROKEN ARROW sends Myron flying! Connors runs to BASEMENT SHOULDER TACKLE! Cover, TWO! Connors clamps onto Myron with a chinlock and grinds him down. Myron endures, Collision returns to single picture, and the fans rally up. Myron fights to his feet, fires body shots, but Connors CLUBS him down! Connors snap suplexes, then looms over Myron. Connors grabs a leg, Myron kicks at him, but Connors scuffs Myron. Myron kicks harder now and kicks free!
The fans rally but Connors grabs another leg! Connors ducks the enzigiri, and Finlay CLOBBERS Myron! The Death Riders BLAST The Rascalz & Top Flight for good measure! The fans are torn but The Dogs soak it all up. The Dogs then double suplex, but Myron lands out! He goes Matrix again to DOUBLE CUTTER! The fans fire up as Myron crawls! Hot tag to Dez! But then Top Flight & Zach DIVE to wipe out the rest! Dez fires off on The Dogs, fires a strike fest and a CUTTER on Finlay! Then he dodges Connors to handspring and PELE! Cover, TWO!! Connors survives but Dez brings him up and around.
Connors waistlocks, Dez switches, then Dez RAMS Connors into the corner! ENZIGIRI! Tag to Zach before the trip and CATAPULT into the SUPERKICK! Zach goes up, DOUBLE STOMP BACKBREAKER! Cover, Finlay breaks it! Dez kicks Finlay out, The Rascalz set up, but Finlay stops the Hot Fire Flame! The two tie up, Jack wrenches to a wristlock, but Dorada rolls, cartwheels, then uses the ropes to flip through! Dorada arm-drags Jack away and the fans applaud. Jack nods, that was good. The two go again, circle, and Jack trips Dorada. Jack facelocks, rolls with Dorada, then shifts to a headlock. Dorada powers up but can’t power out as Jack hits a takeover! Dorada rolls to a cover, ONE, and Jack holds on. Dorada powers up and out this time, but Jack RUNS him over! The fans cheer as things keep moving, and Jack handsprings over the dropdown!
Things get going again, Jack hurdles, then MONKEY FLIPS and DROPKICKS! Jack kips up and the fans cheer! Jack takes a bow while Dorada takes a moment to catch his breath. Jack stands Dorada up to CHOP him down, then he whips Dorada to ropes. Dorada handsprings, Jack dodges, and things keep moving! Dorada FLIP RANAS and Jack tumbles! The fans fire up for Dorada now, and he brings Jack up. Jack CHOSP Dorada again, then knuckle locks. Jack goes up, up, jumps around, and arm-drags Dorada away! Dorada knuckle locks, CHOPS, and he goes up, up, steadies himself, then pinballs around to arm-drag Jack!
The fans fire up as Jack tumbles out. Dorada TORNILLOS and down goes Jack! Dorada high-fives fans, then stands on railing to have everyone cheer. The ref double checks Jack but he’s alright. Dorada has the fans chanting for “LUCHA! LUCHA!” Jack ROCKS Dorada, then POSTS Him! Then Jack swings on the corner to KICK Dorada down! Jack refreshes the ring count, runs up on Dorada, but Dorada puts Jack in the crowd! Jack SLAPS back, SLAPS again, then goes up onto the railing to bring Dorada up to join him! The fans fire up as these two brawl on the literal edge! Jack tries but Dorada fights the suplex!
Dorada fires body shots, then hops on, BARRIER DESTROYER!! The fans go nuts as both Jack and Dorada are down, and Collision goes picture in picture.
The ref checks both men, and somehow they’re both okay to continue. Dorada crawls to the steel steps and the fans rally behind him. Dorada hobbles his way over to Jack, puts him in the ring, then stomps him around. Dorada stands Jack up to CHOP! Jack sputters as he drops down, but Dorada stands him back up. Jack CHOPS Dorada, but Dorada SUPERKICKS back! Jack is down, Dorada fires up, and Dorada clamps on with a chinlock. Dorada grinds Jack down, leans on the hold, but Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as Dorada is up top! 450- NO, Dorada bails out as Jack moves! Dorada comes back, Jack dodges, but Dorada goes up and up to backflip off the corner! Dorada whips Jack corner to corner, but Jack goes up and over to GERMAN SUPELX! But Dorada lands out! Jack SUPERKICKS! Jack runs, but into a SUPERKICK! Renee knows Kris missed out on making history with becoming the Triple Crown Champion, but then Shida says they almost had those tag belts! Shida doesn’t blame Kris, it wasn’t her fault. Kris gets mad and shoves Shida to the wall! Kris says of course it wasn’t her fault! It was Shida, because Shida didn’t listen, kicked Kris in the stomach for that suplex, and then kept tagging in! Shida apologizes but Kris says that’s enough out of her!
Kris was THIS close to making history, and Shida ruined everything! Shida apologizes again, and says they’ve been friends for almost seven YEARS! Shida promises to make this up to Kris. Kris storms off, but what can Shida do to keep that promise?

Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong are still the AEW World Trios Champions after facing yet another Don Callis Family formation, but now they’re preparing for Dynamite Double Jeopardy on Wednesday. Will facing Mansoor, Mason Madden & Johnny TV be more than enough to prepare Cassidy for Dax Harwood? Or will MXM TV finally have their own chance at the AEW World Trios titles?
The trios sort out and Kyle steps up against Mansoor. The bell rings, they circle, and Mansoor shows off his drop steps. He might also be mocking Kyle as he drops down and puts up a leg guard. The two circle, and Kyle KICKS Mansoor’s leg! Mansoor tags to Mason, and Mason also mocks Kyle with a kung-fu stance. Kyle just KICKS Mason’s leg! Shida again says she is so sorry, Stat, and that she will make it up to her! That’s why Shida got Kris another tag match! But against THESE TWO! Harley acts surprised, and sarcastically asks if Shida is really allowing herself to wrestle someone not on her level. Can she even talk to someone “not” on her level or what? How does this work? Shida says enough, Harley! You don’t even deserve to touch the kendo stick! Shida then uses Japanese to hide her comments about Harley & Mina having nothing but bosoms.
Mina says enough! Stat, how can you still trust Shida? How can you give her another chance? And… Where was Kris the night Toni was attacked? Shida says enough about Toni! Garcia CLOBBERS Juice, then he and Yuta mug Juice! The fans boo but Yuta bumps Juice off buckles. Tag to Garcia, he and Yuta mug Juice more, then they double whip. They DOUBLE ELBOW Juice down, then Garcia does push-ups just to show off. Garcia then drags Juice up, around, and brings him over.

Garcia stomps Ace, Marina joins in, and the fans boo again. Moxley says this is just the art of tag team wrestling. Garcia puts Ace in for Yuta, Yuta covers, ONE!! Lexy Nair is with Megan Bayne & Lena Kross, and Megan says no, she’s not with them, she’s beneath them. Just like this entire Women’s Division. Lena says Divine Dominion just defeated Stat & Shida, two former world champions, and two of the best in this company. And yet they crumbled at Divine Dominion’s feet! What two other women even have a prayer? Can Lexy think of them? Wanna try? N-NO, absolutely not. Then the only hope this Women’s Division has is if the gods themselves take mercy on their souls and strike these two down. Otherwise, just stop trying. Megan & Lena have spoken, but will that challenge soon be matched?
Skye Blue VS Nixi XS!
The Chicago Skye looms dark over Peoria, especially after she and the Triangle of Madness misted Persephone full in the face just to cheat a win last week. But will Skye make sure to leave her opponent black ‘n’ blue tonight? Or will the Alien Girl shine through with neon colors?
The bell rings and Skye just BOOTS Nixi down! Then she scuffs Nixi, talks trash on her, and pie faces her around. Skye TOSSES Nixi out, then runs up, only for Nixi to BOOT her back! Skye ROCKS Nixi, then runs up again, to BOOGT WASH her to the floor! Skye scowls as she stalks Nixi on the outside, and she brings Nixi up to SMACK her off steel steps! And again, and again, and again! The fans cheer Skye as she puts Nixi on the apron. Skye drags Nixi out for a DRAPING SWINGING NECKBREAKER to the floor! Nixi writhes but Skye puts her back in the ring. Skye swaggers while the fans cheer, then she climbs up the corner.
Nixi slowly rises so Skye revels in the cheers a little more. Nixi ROCKS Skye, but Skye ROCKS her back! They brawl up top, but Skye slips under to tuck Nixi in! CHEEKY NANDOS! Then Skye gets under Nixi for a RUNNING POWERBOMB! Flip over and KNEE!! Cover, but Skye lets up! The fans re torn, but Skye shouts out Julia Hart with the dragon sleeper! She drops down, DESCENT INTO MADNESS! Nixi TAPS, Skye wins!

AEW TNT Championship: Kevin Knight VS Hook w/ The Opps!
The Jet used MJF’s own tricks against him to keep this title, and now he has his shot at Darby Allin’s AEW World Championship this Wednesday. But will Knight still be bringing this gold with him? Or will the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil finally make himself the Face of TNT?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see whose luggage will be a little heavier as they leave Illinois!
The bell rings and the fans rally up. Knight and Hook circle, tie up, and Hook slips around to waistlock. Hook picks a leg, trips Knight, then eggs him on. The fans boo but Knight brushes it off. Knight asks Shibata if he taught Hook that trick. Shibata ignores Knight, but Knight and Hook tie up again. Hook headlocks, wrenches, then wristlocks. Knight rolls, handsprings, and wrenches to snapmare. Knight drops a KNEE on the arm! Hook scrambles away but Knight calls to Shibata, saying he knows Shibata knows these tricks. Knight does squats like back in the dojo, and the two tie up again. Knight powers Hook back, Hook turns things around, and they go along ropes.
The ref counts as the two keep going around and around, then they return to center. Hook waistlocks, Knight switches, but Hook switches back. Knight wrenches, hammerlocks, and the fans rally. Hook reaches back to hit the SAYANAGI! Hook runs but Knight stays low. Knight hurdles, then HIP TOSSES, but Hook handsprings through! Knight dodges Hook’s lariat, Hook HIP TOSSES, but now Knight handsprings through! The fans cheer while Knight strikes a pose, but Hook runs up! Knight arm-drags Hook, then arm-drags again, but Hook avoids the dropkick! The fans boo as Hook scrambles to the corner.
Knight taunts Hook & Shibata, but Shibata coaches Hook up. Hook kicks low, ROCKS Knight, then fires body shots and backhands in the corner! Knight turns things around to return the body shots and forearms! Knight UPPERCUTS, the fans fire up, but Hook avoids the haymaker! Hook fires more body shots, then a HEADBUTT! Hook wobbles, too, but he still soaks up heat from the fans. Hook stalks Knight to a corner, brings him around to whip, but Knight grabs ropes to stop. Knight DUMPS Hook out, then DROPKICKS him down! Shibata coaches Hook, Knight aims to PLANCHA, but Hook dodges!
Shibata stands in the way, Knight asks what’s up, but Shibata runs up! Knight dodges, goes up the steps, but Hook dodges that! EXPLODER into the fans! The other fans cheer as Knight is down, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Hook soaks up more heat as he swaggers around the way, but the ref checks Knight. Knight rises up but the ref has Hook stay back. That just lets Shibata DUMP Knight to ringside! And even stomp him! Hook argues with the ref as a further distraction so Shibata can stand Knight up. Hook KNEES Knight, then whips him hard into railing! Hook CLUBS Knight, soaks up heat, then goes to the ring. Hook argues with the ref more, but that lets Shibata line up a shot! Shibata BOOTS Knight into the crowd! The fans cheer again, they don’t mind Collision being interactive. Shibata puts Knight in for Hook to cover, TWO!
Hook is frustrated but Shibata coaches him up. Hook drags Shibata up, but Knight fires body shots! Knight ROCKS Hook, shakes out his hand then runs, only for Hook to follow! Hook CLOBBERS Knight, covers, TWO! Shibata argues the count but no, it was fair. Hook clamps onto Knight with a SLEEPER! Knight endures, even as Hook leans on him. Knight fights around, reaches out, then fires body shots! Collision returns to single picture as the fans rally. Knight fires shots, Hook shoves, but Knight returns! STAELLITE- NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, TWO! Knight survives and Hook is furious!
Hook hauls Knight up, fires body shots, then ROCKS Knight. Hook whips corner to corner, but Knight comes back to LARIAT! The fans fire up as Knight keeps going, SHOULDER TACKLE! Knight whips, Hook reverses, but Knight goes up and over! Knight comes back, LEAPING LARIAT! Hook sputters away but Knight kips up! The fans fire up and Knight runs up to scoop and SLAM! The fans cheer as Knight says “TOO FLY!” UFO SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Hook survives but the fans still rally behind Knight. Shibata coaches Hook and Hook rises up. Knight also stands, and Knight runs up, SATELLITE- NO, Hook powers free!
Hook goes to a corner, Knight runs up and blocks a boot! Knight ROCKS Hook, hoists him up top, but Hook kicks Knight away. Knight returns to the UPPER ROOM! Hook goes tumbling away to the far corner! Shibata is worried but Knight grins. Knight says this is for Shibata-sensei! HYDRAULIC DROPKICK! The fans cheer Knight using Shibata’s signature, and that just pisses Shibata off! Knight puts Hook in the drop zone but Hook grabs at the ref. Knight climbs up, but Shibata shakes the ropes! The fans boo as that trips Knight up! Knight is stuck on his cockpit, but Hook goes up after him! Hook clinches but Knight fires body shots!
Knight SHOVES Hook away, climbs back up, but Hook is right on him for a SUPER DUPER BELLY2BELLY!! Knight flounders, Hook runs up, LARIAT! TAZ PLEX! Cover, TWO!! Knight survives and we hit the ten minute halfway point! Knight PENALTY KICKS, another Shibata signature! Cover, TWO!! Another cover, TWO!! Knight survives and Shibata is frustrated! Shibata tells Hook to end this! Hook snarls, storms around, and he demands Knight rise again! Knight sits up, Hook sneaks up behind him, REDRUM!!! Knight flails, drops, and victory rolls! TWO!! Knight and Hook stand, Knight slips around, O’Conner Roll! TWO, but Knight BLASTS Shibata first!!
The fans cheer, but Hook runs up again! GERMAN SUPLEX, but Knight handsprings through!! Then Knight LARIATS Hook down! Then Knight waits on Hook, for the SATELLITE DDT!! Knight puts Hook in a drop zone, hurries up a corner, and takes aim… MOTHERSHIP SPLASH!! Cover, KNIGHT WINS!
Winner: Kevin Knight, by pinfall (still AEW TNT Champion)
Hook tried to take this title, even had Shibata-sensei there to tip the scales, but it just wasn’t enough to stop The Jet from taking off! But will Knight soon make himself a double champion? Or will Darby Allin’s relentless reign not stop just yet?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision to follow a great Dynamite, but naturally status quo is kept with all these title matches. I liked the Jurassic Express National Tour vignette, and that was an awesome match in Jack VS Dorada. Anna Jay also looked great in her return, but of course Willow wins to keep the TBS title. Good promo from after Dynamite with Kris being rightfully angry with Shida, and good promo from #Shidalander with Harley & Mina. I feel like they can do a two-in-one, where Shidalander falls apart to set up their feud, while also giving Harley & Mina reason to become a team to help bolster the Women’s Tag Division.
Speaking of, very good promo from Divine Dominion to address how they’re dominating the division. There are only so many teams in the tag division so we need an influx of more, maybe have some crossover with Stardom and CMLL real quick, really spice things up as we get closer to Forbidden Door. Skye Blue of course won, and pretty dominantly at that. I can’t tell if Julia Hart is resting from an injury or what but she wasn’t even ringside for Skye, hopefully things are alright. Very fun trios match from Conglomeration VS MXM TV, great win for Conglomeration, but AEW needs to figure out more trios. Putting Ciampa with FTR is still a great team, but they gotta get longer running teams going, like LFI or maybe even Shane Taylor Promotions.
Awesome stuff with that 10 Man Tag, so wild and chaotic in a good way, but I figured Death Riders & Dogs would win. The Dogs need to stay afloat without Gabe Kidd as their anchor, and there’s the whole story with Ospreay that Death Riders need to stay strong for. Great tag match from Yuta & Garcia VS Ace & Juice, too, and great win for Bang Bang Gang. Especially with a return from Austin & Colten Gunn, because now we can get Bang Bang Gang VS Death Riders in an 8 Man Tag, someone going after the Continental Championship for it, who knows what else. For that matter, Bang Bang Gang needs to get back in those tag and trios divisions to at least bolster the ranks.
And great main event with the TNT Championship. Hook looked good for most of this, but the German Suplex was a bit janky. Thankfully, Knight is so tall and athletic that he made himself look even cooler in his escape. Knight of course won, mostly because it is more exciting if he has a chance of becoming Jet Two Belts. He won’t, because Darby and MJF are still building towards their rematch for Double or Nothing, but Knight will look awesome again. If anything, Knight VS Shibata should be the TNT title match for Double or Nothing, that’s a great story of student and teacher they can easily reference in the build.

The Jet called out The Scumbag for sneaking away with a win when they battled for the AEW World Championship, and wants to prove that this title is for truly the best wrestlers! But will Knight be #2Fly2Stop? Or will Maxwell Jacob Friedman look to put more gold on his resumé?
The introductions are made, and MJF makes sure Justin Roberts says, “He doesn’t hail from a white trash state like Virginia…” The belt is raised, and we see who is truly the Face of TNT!
The bell rings and the fans fire up already. The two step up, but MJF kicks low! MJF TOSSES Knight out, then hurries to THROW Knight into the steel steps! Then he whips Knight hard into the railing! Knight writhes, the fans boo, but MJF soaks up heat. MJF talks trash as he reels Knight in, lift shim up, and BARRIER BOMBS him! The fans boo but MJF takes the camera to film while he scuffs Knight. “He’s a nobody!” MJF puts Knight in the ring, tells fans to shut up, and he pushes Knight to a cover, ONE!! Knight toughs it out but MJF clamps on tight. The fans rally as Knight endures and fights around. Knight rises, fires body shots, then runs.
Knight ducks ‘n’ dodges to springboard and CROSSBODY! Knight keeps moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges more, but MJF ELBOWS Knight down! The fans boo but MJF drags Knight up again for a back suplex. Knight lands out, back suplexes, but MJF lands out! Another back suplex, but into the CUTTER! Cover, TWO! MJF argues with the ref but the count was fair. MJF huffs ‘n’ puffs as he storms over to Knight at the apron. The fans taunt him about his hair but MJF just frowns. MJF drags Knight up, but Knight HOTSHOTS MJF away! Knight hurries in, slides under, then hurdles over to SATELLITE DDT! Both men are down but the fans fire up!
The fans rally again as both men rise up. MJF stands first, storms up, but Knight counter punches! Knight fires haymakers, fires body shots, then has MJF on the ropes! The fans fire up as Knight fires off, but the ref backs Knight off! Knight storms back up, whips, but MJF reverses. Knight goes up and over, hurdles again, then DROPKICKS! The fans fire up as both men are back down! But then Knight kips up! Knight is feeling it, and he runs up to UFO SPLASH! Cover, TOW! MJF survives but Knight stays cool. Knight drags MJF around, then climbs the corner. The fans cheer as Knight aims, but MJF hurries out of the ring!
The fans boo but Knight hops down to PLANCHA! Down goes MJF and the fans fire up again! Knight puts MJF back in, but MJF hurries back out! The fans boo again, but Knight builds speed! Knight DIVES and down goes MJF yet again! The fans cheer as Knight gets MJF in the ring, but then MJF bails out another side. The fans boo but Knight shrugs and builds speed again. Knight FLIES and that’s three for three! The fans cheer as Knight stands tall on the desk! Knight then brings MJF back into the ring, but MJF says let’s make it four. MJF goes to the ramp side, but Knight says might as well complete the set!
Knight aims, springboards, and FLYING LARIATS MJF down at the ramp! All four sides belong to Knight and the fans are thunderous! Knight drags MJF up, puts him in the ring a fifth time, and now MJF is stuck in the drop zone. Knight is up top, but then MJF just goes to the far side. Knight runs up, MJF DUMPS Knight out, and then the HEAT- NO, Knight powers out! Knight springboards, MJF gets under, but Knight comes back and sunset flips! MJF flails to stay standing, but Knight brings him down to a cover! TWO and MJF sits on Knight, TWO as Knight sunset flips again! TWO and both men stand! SATELLITE denied into a CUTTER! Cover, TWO!
The fans cheer as both men are down again. Knight crawls away to a corner, MJF runs up, but Knight goes up and over. MJF ELBOWS Knight, goes up top, and calls his shot. But Knight BODY SHOTS first! Knight goes up to get MJF, but MJF resists. Knight CLUBS away on MJF, but MJF SHOVES Knight! Knight backflips, but he hobbles from the landing. MJF wobbles, Knight still goes to the UPPER ROOM! MJF is down but Knight clutches his knee. Knight fights through the pain to go to the apron. The fans rally behind Knight as he climbs again, MOTHERSHIP FLOP as MJF moves! MJF hobbles over to Knight, he grabs the leg!
MJF steps through, but Knight BOOTS him away! MJF hits buckles, Knight runs up, but Knight’s leg buckles! MJF SUPERKICKS Knight, then goes up for the LONG ISLAND SUNSRISE! Cover, TWO!! Knight survives the Sunrise and MJF is beside himself! The fans rally up again while both men are down, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Knight and MJF stir, Knight still clutching the bad leg. The ref checks him but Knight says he can still go. Knight goes to the ropes, hobbles around, but MJF runs up to KICK the leg out! Knight flounders but MJF stalks him. MJF KICKS the leg out again! Knight flounders against the ropes before falling down. MJF drags Knight to center, talks trash about the leg, then turns Knight over for the HALF CRAB! Dynamite returns to single picture as the fans rally and Knight endures! Knight powers up, crawls his way forward, but MJF drags him back to center! MJF sits deep, even CLUBS the leg, but Knight manages to turn over and BOOT MJF away!
The fans cheer as Knight hobbles up, but he still can’t run! MJF grins, then goes up the corner again, for the LONG- SUPERKICK! Knight suckers MJF in and hurries up the corner himself! The fans fire up for the MOTHERSHIP SPLASH!! But Knight can’t make the pin from how he landed so hard! Knight crawls his way back to cover, TWO!! MJF survives thanks to that delay, but the fans know, “This is Awesome!” Knight pounds the mat in frustration, then clutches his leg as he crawls over to the ropes. MJF is on the apron, Knight hobbles and runs up, but MJF blocks the kick! DRAGON SCREW in the ropes! MJF is foaming at the mouth!
MJF DDTS the foot again and again and again! MJF blows snot AND spits on Knight! The fans boo but MJF just snarls as he looms over Knight. MJF Alabama Lifts, and he ALABAMA SLAMS Knight down! Kneeling cover, TWO!! MJF covers again, TWO! Another cover, ONE!!! The fans fire up as Knight refuses to stay down! MJF is furious but the fans cheer Knight on! MJF storms outside, grabs the belt, then snarls as he goes back to the ring. The fans boo but the ref reprimands MJF. Th eref takes the belt, but duh! Dynamite Diamond Ring! But Knight LOW BLOWS MJF first!! Knight cradles, KNIGHT WINS!

MJF is absolutely shocked! He got outsmarted! He got beat at his own dirty game! But then MJF CHOP BLOCKS Knight! The sore loser then scares the ref off before he winds up with that diamond ring. But wait! DARBY ALLIN literally drops in from the ceiling! Darby unhooks himself from the harness, then storms into the ring to dragon sleeper MJF! SCORPION DEATH DROP!! Darby makes sure justice is served, and the fans cheer him on as he gets a mic. MJF also gets a mic, and MJF says, “You people suck! Darby, real typical. Two peas in a pod! Two low life cheaters getting along, huh?!”
But joke’s on you! MJF doesn’t care about Knight, this match doesn’t count, he was barely trying! The fans laugh given how MJF’s red, sweaty and gasping for air. But MJF says what he cares about is HIS Triple B, HIS AEW World Championship! The fans boo but MJF says shut up! MJF wants his rematch! Darby paces, but the fans already chant “NO! NO! NO!” Darby also says, “NO! I’m not giving you that rematch until you put something on the line! And if I survive tonight with Brody King, I think I know exactly who deserves a shot next week.” MJF says MJF, but Darby looks to The Jet. The fans cheer but MJF says don’t even think about it!
But Darby indeed says, it will be Kevin Knight! The fans cheer, but then BRODY KING shows up! The King of Death stares The Devil down, then moves past him to join Darby and Knight in the ring. Brody and Darby stare down, then Brody says, “I have some bad news for you, Darby, cuz you’re not gonna survive tonight! And Jet, I got even worse news for you. Next week, you’re not gonna be facing Darby Allin. You’re gonna be facing the NEW AEW World Champion! ROOF!” The fans cheer that, and Brody returns backstage. The main event is gonna be wild, but who carries the title into next Wednesday?
Backstage interview with Adam Copeland & Christian Cage.
Renee Paquette is with The Rated R Superstar and Captain Charisma, and notes that Cage has a fractured arm, how is he feeling? Cage says his arm feels fine, don’t worry about the arm. Then they also have to address FTR upping the ante on their New York Street Fight by making it part I Quit match. Do they accept? Cage says, “We accept!” Cope says that’s a bit quick given Cage’s history with I Quit matches in AEW. Just saying… Cage says if he’s told you once, he’s told you a thousand times, he never said those words! He didn’t! Cage storms off, Cope says he totally did. But neither of them will say it again. Will C&C be more than ready to make the Top Guys give up?

Jamie Hayter may have missed a week, but she’s back to 100% and ready to pick up where she left off. But will she and Alex Windsor be able to bounce back from losing to Thekla back to back? Or will they get caught off guard by Lady Stunner & The Ankle Breaker?
The teams sort out and Jamie steps to Jordan. They circle as the fans rally, then Jamie blocks a kick to ROCK Jordan! Then she BLASTS Emily just because before she BOOTS Jordan! Jamie bumps Jordan off buckles, DOUBLE CHOPS, then tags Alex. Alex DOUBLE CHOPS, then she tags Jamie! Another DOUBLE CHOP, and then tag back to Alex for a DOUBLE CHOP! Jamie tags back in, The Birds wind up, but Emily runs in! The Birds DOUBLE ELBOW Emily before they DOUBLE DOUBLE CHOP Jordan! Jamie then hauls Jordan up to snap suplex! SLIDING LARIAT and then ground ‘n’ pound! Jamie brings Jordan up, Windsor joins in, DOUBLE HEADBUTTS!

But getting mist in the face was the best thing to ever happen to Skye, so maybe it opens Perse’s eyes, too. So what happened to Jamie & Alex? The bell rings and Callis admits, Ace has impressive quads. Too bad his hometown of Atlantic City is a dump. The fans tell off Callis even though he’s just on commentary, and the two tie up. Ace and Okada push each other back and forth, but Okada’s height becomes his leverage. Okada has Ace in a corner, but the ref counts. Okada lets off, then fakes the chop. Okada pats Ace on the shoulders, then stomps low! The fans are torn as Okada stomps a mudhole, but he backs off as the ref counts. Okada soaks up heat, then he ROCKS Ace with a forearm. Okada whips, Ace ducks and rolls to drop toehold and ENZIGIRI!
The fans cheer while Ace steps over to cradle, TWO! Ace DROPKICKS Okada down and the fans fire up! Ace KICKS Okada in the back, then CLUBS his arm. The fans rally as Ace lines up a shot and ROCKS Okada. Okada goes to a corner, Ace KICKS and CLUBS him. Ace whips Okada to ropes but Okada reverses, only for ace to fireman’s carry! Ace does squats to then DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! The fans fire up for “The Quad God” as he poses. Ace runs up, Okada dodges, and Okada comes back. Ace slips into the ropes and Okada hits buckles! Ace then slips back inside to FLYING CHUCK! Okada staggers while the fans fire up again!
Okada bails out, Ace takes aim, but Okada avoids the plancha! Ace avoids the leg sweep, and Okada is stunned to see the handstand! Okada applauds, that’s impressive even to him. But then Ace DROPKICKS Okada again, then PLANCHAS! Okada avoids the impact, kicks low, and DDTS to the floor! Ace writhes and Okada grins while the fans applaud. The ref checks Ace while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Okada “apologizes” to the ref, then drags Ace up. Okada RAMS Ace into the railing! The ref reprimands, Okada rolls into the ring, but only to refresh the count. Okada then RAMS Ace into more railing! Ace drops to his knees, Okada offers a high-five, and a young fan returns it. The fans applaud that, then Okada offers one to Callis. They high-five, cheapening the moment. Okada puts Ace in the ring, Ace checks his head, but Okada brings him up. Okada bumps Ace hard off buckles! Okada slaps Ace around, then stands him up to whip hard into buckles again! Ace falls back, checking his mouth, but his mouthguard did its part to protect his teeth.
Okada stands Ace up but Ace fires a body shot! And a CHOP! Ace then lifts Okada, but Okada fights free to kick and DDT! Okada pushes Ace over to the cover, TWO! Ace is tougher than that but Okada brushes it off. Okada paces, sneaks a middle finger at the fans, then scuffs Ace. Okada kicks Ace around while Dynamite returns to single picture. Ace stands but Okada Alabama Lifts, tucks, and REVERSE NECKBREAKERS! The fans rally as Okada brings Ace up again. Okada scoops to SLAM Ace in the drop zone! Standard formula says Okada goes up, and he aims for the MACHO ELBOW! Direct hit, and Okada winds up… The Rainmaker Middle Finger!
Okada drags Ace up, wristlocks, but Ace fights the ripcord! They run around and tumble out of the ring! The fans rally up as Ace is on the apron. Okada stands, but he blocks Ace’s Penalty Kick! Okada THROWS Ace, Ace handstands again! Ace then handsprings over the sweep! PENALTY KICK! The fans fire up as Okada staggers around the way. Ace builds speed to FOSBURY FLOP! Ace just manages to clear the apron and the fans fire up for that! Ace gets Okada up and into the ring. Ace climbs, springboards, but Okada dodges! But then Ace fireman’s carries! Okada slips free, ROLLING- NO, Ace blocks to KNEE low!
Ace KICKS and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! Then “CLICK CLICK!” BOOM DROP! The fans fire up for Ace as he runs corner to corner, forearm SMASH! Ace pushes Okada out, springboards, and FLYING LEG DROPS! Cover, TWO!! Okada survives and Ace is stunned! Ace takes out his ace card, and runs up for- A BOOT! Ace still reels Okada in, but Okada fights the suplex. Ace wrenches, Okada rolls Ace, TWO! Okada CLUBS Ace down! Okada drags Ace up, whips him to ropes, but Ace avoids the dropkick! Ace then lines up the shot again, THE- NO, Okada pops Ace up, but Ace sunset flips! TWO!! Okada rises, BOOTS, and Ace falls!

The anti-air hits hard, then Okada ripcords! RAIN- NO, Okada ducks it to backslide! TWO!! Callis freaks out at how close that was! Ace runs, but into the DROPKICK! Okada snarls, gut wrenches, and TOMBSTONES!! Okada roars because he’s not done! Okada ripcords for THE RAINMAKER!! Cover, Okada wins!

Ace was so close to the jackpot, but Okada isn’t one of the best ever for nothing! Mark Davis congratulates his Don Callis Family brother, while Callis himself SMOTHERS Ace for pushing Okada this far! Juice Robinson scares Callis off, but then wait! Konosuke Takeshita is here! The Alpha stares down Okada, and signals that he’s taking that title. Will Takeshita avenge himself for that Continental Classic controversy? Or will no one dry up the reign?
A country town is in chaos!
They’re all running away from the saloon as someone is putting the hurt on everybody. This man then picks up a wanted poster, the bounty for The Most Wanted, Bandido. And that man… is Swerve Strickland! Prince Nana hands Swerve his lighter, and Swerve burns the bounty. Is The Outlaw about to enter Swerve’s House, and never return?

You don’t get to be the best out there until you’re the best in here first.” But then look who walks in! Will Ospreay is here, and Jon Moxley says he has arrived! Did Ospreay get cleared? Nope. Might as well say it now, though: Ospreay is going to Japan, he and the Empire boys have a big title match, and then we’ll see. Moxley says, “Loyalty. You are too good to be true.” Moxley looks to Pac, kinda pokes at him, then says first thing’s first: Moxley needs Ospreay to drop everything.

And then everything in the gut, the anger that burns a hole. Drop it all. Excess baggage, they don’t need it. The feelings Ospreay has about Moxley, drop ’em. They don’t need excess baggage. The teams sort out and Cage starts against Rocky. The fans rally while Cage keeps that bad arm away from Rocky. They tie up, Rocky wrenches the bad arm, then wristlocks. Cage powers Rocky to a corner, the ref counts, but Cage backs off at 4. The fans cheer while Cage talks trash on FTR. Cage and Rocky reset, feel things out, but Rocky kicks low. Rocky wrenches, CLUBS, and CLUBS the bad arm. Rocky CLUBS away on the arm, then wrenches again. Cage KNEES low, then runs, but into a DROPKICK! Rocky slides for the soccer celebration, but Cage snatches him! REVERSE DDT! Cover, TWO!
Cage tags Cope and the fans cheer as they THROW Rocky into the corner again and again and again! Then BOOT LEG SWEEP COMBO! Cover, TWO! Rocky toughs it out, but Cope flips off FTR. Cope whips Rocky but Rocky KICKS back! Tag to Trent but Cope kicks and CLUBS Trent! Cope whips, Trent reverses, then Trent drops down to STANDING METEORA! Trent snarls, covers, TWO! Cope is tougher than that but Trent stalks Cope to a corner. Trent pie faces Cope, CHOPS him, then CHOPS again! Trent whips corner to corner, Cope reverses and Trent tumbles up, down, and into a BOOT! The fans cheer as Cope stands tall.
Cope drags Trent up, but Trent powers free! Cope drop toeholds Trent onto the ropes, tags Cage, and Cage stands on Trent to CHOKE him! The ref counts, Cage steps down, and he slingshots to the outside. Cope SPLASHES Trent before Cage UPPERCUTS him down! Cage then drags Trent out, THROWS him into barriers, and the fans cheer as Cage drags him up again. Cage ROCKS Trent, brings him around, and he SMACKS Rocky along the way! Cage puts Trent against the post, but Cash Wheeler shouts at him. Cage grabs Cash through the ropes, but Trent wrenches the bad arm, to SWING it into the POST!
The fans boo as FTRPG Vice are talking trash on C&C, but even Stokely talks trash from commentary. Wait, who is this standing up in the matching hoodies? It’s THE CONGLOMERATION! The fans cheer as Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong make their presence known, and Stokely senses it. Stoke turns around to see Conglomeration having snacks, and Stoke takes a swing!? Cassidy dodges that easily, and then SMACKS Stoke with the popcorn! FTR is furious, but they end up brawling with Conglomeration! RPG Vice mugs Christian while Conglomeration handles FTR & Stokely, off into the crowd!
The fans fire up as this brawl moves through the aisleway, and Cassidy is giving Stokely a noogie to his bald head! But Trent sets Cage up for Rocky’s FLYING KNEE! RPG Vice still has control while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Rocky talks a lot more trash on Cage, but Cope scares him off! The ref reprimands everyone, and Cope backs off while Trent stands Cage up. Trent whips Cage hard into railing! Trent then tags Rocky, and Rocky digs his boot into Cage’s bad arm against the railing! Rocky puts Cage in the ring, stomps the bad arm again, then drags Cage around. Tag to Trent, they double wrench to double BODY BLOW! Then they run to JUMP KNEE and LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Cage toughs it out but Trent slaps him around. Trent drags Cage up, snapmares, and he clamps on a top wristlock! Cage endures, Cope coaches him, and the fans rally up.
Cage rises, fires body shots, then runs the ropes, but into a kick! Trent hits an ARMBAR DDT! Cover, TWO! Cage scrambles to ropes but Trent tags Rocky in. Rocky steps on Cage very much like Cage would, then steps off as the ref counts. Rocky argues with the ref and with Cope, letting Trent SMACK Cage in the distraction! Cope seethes but he can’t do anything while Rocky traps Cage’s arm for an ELBOW JAMMER! Rocky then double wristlocks the arm and puts on the pressure. Cage endures, fights back up, and Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans rally again as Cage wrenches out, but Rocky wrenches to headlock, only for Cage to hit a BIG back suplex!
Both men are down and the fans rally harder! Rocky crawls, hot tag to Trent! Trent BLASTS Cope, the fans boo, but Trent tags Rocky back in. Trent puts Cage on the ropes, Rocky DOUBLE STOMPS Cage down for Trent to SLIDING KNEE! Cover, but Cope breaks it! The fans cheer but Rocky keeps Cage from Cope. Cage fires a body shot, but Rocky KICKS the bad arm! And KICKS, and KICKS, then CHOPS! Rocky puts Cage up top, climbs up after him, and goes for the arm. Cage fires body shots, shoves Rocky back, but Rocky returns for a SUPER ARM-DRAG! Then the ARMBAR! Cage endures while the fans rally up again!
Cage fights around, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer while Rocky lets go in frustration. Tag to Trent and he storms up on Cage. Trent ROCKS Cage but Cage fires hands in return! Cage fights off RPG Vice, sneaks under Trent, but Rocky tags in! Rocky whips Cage to a corner, but Cage ELBOWS him away! Cage goes up, but Rocky grabs the arm! But Cage CLAWS Rocky’s face! Cage then TORNADO DDTS Rocky! The fans fire up while both men are down again! Cage and Rocky crawl, hot tags to Trent and Cope! The fans fire up as Cope BACKDROPS Trent! Then FLAPJACKS! Then he whips corner to corner, runs up, but into an ELBOW!
Trent has Cope, TORNADO- NO, Cope denies the DDT, then hits the IMPALER! Cover, but Rocky runs up! Cope moves, the ELBOW DROP hits Trent! The fans cheer, and Cope ROCKS Rocky! And CHOPS Trent! Cope runs, but into a DOUBLE JUMP KNEE! And then another DOUBLE JUMP KNEE! Trent Alabama Lifts Cope while Rocky climbs, but Cage SHOVES Rocky down! And a BOOT into the CODE RED! Cover, but Rocky breaks it! Cage has Rocky but Rocky CLAWS Cage’s face! Rocky runs, but Cage SMACKS him with the brace! Trent CLOBBERS Cage! But Cope SPEAR- NO, Trent leaps over! Roll-up, with feet on the ropes! The ref sees it in time!
The fans cheer as Trent is caught cheating! Trent argues with the ref, then pleads with him. But Cope runs up, only for Trent to BOOT him! Trent runs up, but Cope pops him up, for Cage’s SPEAR! Cover, C&C win!

They may be less than 100% physically, but they’re still 100% mentally! As for emotionally, Cage grabs a chair and brings it into the ring. Given the role RPG Vice played in Cage’s arm injury, he SNAPS the crossbar of the chair off, and he hands it to Cope! Bent as it is, Cope uses it to GAG Trent! TORONTO SMILE!! Cage grabs a mic and he asks Trent, “Do you know what to say?! Say it!” Trent shouts, but the crossbar is kinda muddying it into “I qwimt!” They take the bar out and Cage asks again. Trent shouts, “I QUIT! I QUIT!” Cope lets Trent go and the fans cheer. Cage says, “I will never say ‘I quit,’ you little b*tch.”
Cope & Christian have their payback on RPG Vice, but now it will be a matter of getting their revenge on FTR. Will Cash & Dax prove they’re truly the best tag team of all time? Or will they have to admit defeat in the worst way possible?

Renee Paquette is with Y2J and brings up that this is twice now that Ricochet has defeated him with the “Ricosault.” Does Jericho think there is any validity that this Ricosault is an improvement on the Lionsault? Jericho says what he does think is that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But he’s not really flattered right now, he’s more pissed off. But here’s the thing, Ricochet has obviously been following Jericho’s career very closely. But not close enough because if he was- THE DEMAND ATTACKS! Ricochet, Kaun & Liona beat Jericho down 3v1, then get him up to his knees. Ricochet asks if this is what Jericho wanted. Is this what Jericho thought this would be in his big return to AEW?!
No more jokes, no more games, no more subliminal messages! Ricochet told Jericho to leave or get hurt! Look at him! What do you gotta say?! Is this what you wanted?! Shida climbs up and the fans cheer, but Megan stops Shida before she even starts! Shida still throws hands, slips free, and kicks low. Shida runs, but Megan blocks the jump knee! SPINEBUSTER! Shida tumbles out while Megan seethes. Shida is frustrated but she storms back in!
Shida dodges Megan, CLAWS Megan’s face, then she grabs her kendo stick! But Kris grabs it, telling Shida to stop! They argue, but then Kris uses the stick to yank Shida out of the way! Megan POSTS herself instead of hitting Shida! Shida tags Kris, they have Megan in the ropes, and then Shida kicks Kris?! Oh, so she can snap suplex her into Megan! A unique attack, but Kris drags Megan up. Megan RAMS Kris into the Divine Dominion’s corner! Tag to Lena, they double whip Kris, but Kris ducks ‘n’ dodges to DOUBLE RAN- NO! The champs stop Kris to SLAM her down! Then they drag Kris up, bring her in, and DOUBLE SUPLEX! But Kris lands out!
Kris BOOTS Lena, DUMPS Megan, but Lena ROCKS Kris! Lena whips, Kris reverses and ELBOWS Lena, then PELES! Lena staggers, Kris gut wrenches and tucks, but Lena drops down! Then a SPLASH and BUTTERFLY PLEX for Kris before Lena adds a SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Kris survives but she’s isolated with Shida down on the floor. Lena stomps Kris down, then stalks her to the ropes. Lena CHOKES Kris, the ref counts, but Lena steps back.

Kris rebounds to DISCUS LARIAT! Both women are down again and the fans fire up! Kris crawls, reaches out, but so does Megan. Hot tags to Lena and Shida! The fans fire up as Shida fires off on Lena! Lena ROCKS Shida, but Shida fires another flurry!
Lena ROCKS Shida again, then whips, but Shida reverses, only for Lena to block! Shida fires a flurry, Lena shoves her away, but Shida dodges! Shida goes up, up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Shida runs up to ROUNDHOUSE Lena! SHOTGUN BOOT from Megan to Shida! Kris BLUE THUNDER BOMBS Megan! Then she ROUNDHOUSES Lena! The fans fire up as Divine Dominion is stacked on top of each other, and Kris climbs a corner! Kris aims to 450 SPLASH!! Two for one on the impact and Kris hurries to cover Lena, TWO?!? Kris is stunned but Lena is dazed. Kris hauls Lena up, but Shida tags herself in! Kris is upset but she SLAMS Lena down for Shida to METEORA! Then the FALCON ARROW!! Cover, TWO?!? Lena survives again and now Shida is shocked! Shida aims for the KATA- NO, Megan intercepts with a BELLY2BELLY!

Because Darby is world champion, that’s how! How you know? Because Don told MJF that Andrade lost his contender’s match! How you know? Because MJF saw it later with his own two eyes! Andrade again asks, “How you know?” Andrade smiles, and MJF says (sarcastically) that Andrade’s real funny.
MJF then shoves Andrade! Callis steps in and has them stop. Andrade is Callis’ money man. MJF is THE money man! Business is business. MJF doesn’t have a belt, there’s no reason for Andrade to fight MJF. And MJF, you need to get that belt back! They’re all better off when MJF is on top! So let’s just focus on business, guys. Okay? Just this once? MJF storms off one way, Andrade the other, and Callis says, “Wild horses, they’re gonna run. What’re you gonna do?” Callis follows Andrade, but will The Real Latino Man accept this truce with The Scumbag?
Rush VS Steven Fuerte!
From wild horses to El Toro Blanco, Rush has certainly been on a stampede since returning from injury. However, he is only getting hungrier and hungrier for gold around his waist. Will that stampede finally lead him to opportunities at Double or Nothing? Or will he have to make due with an appetizer?
The bell rings and Fuerte offers a handshake. Rush DECKS Fuerte instead! Fuerte tumbles out of the ring, Rush goes out after him, and Rush THROWS Fuerte into barriers! The fans fire up as Rush then THROWS Fuerte back into barriers, then stomps away! The ref counts but Rush fires body shots! Rush SMACKS Fuerte off the barriers, then snarls as he drags Fuerte back up. Rush puts Fuerte in the ring, watches him flounder to the corner, and he CHOPS! Fuertes falls, Rush puts him in the corner, then rains down forearms! The ref counts, especially as Rush stomps away! The ref backs Rush down, and Rush just pumps it up!
The fans chant for “RUSH! RUSH! RUSH!” Rush goes corner to corner, “You mess with the bull…! You get the horns!!”” BULL’S HORNS! Cover, Rush wins!
Winner: Rush, by pinfall
Rush made quick work of this one, then he grabs the mic to say cut his music, but in Espanol. Rush continues by saying that he is done with all these dogs! He is Rush, and remember! When you mess with the bull… You get the HORNS! Who else will be trampled under El Toro Blanco as he hunts after gold?
Backstage interview with The Opps.
Renee Paquette is now with Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, Hook, and newest member, Anthony Bowens. Renee says Joe is back, looked great back in action, but what is the game plan moving forward? Joe says, “Game plan… Maybe a declaration of intent. Well, it is simple. The Opps, we intend to reassert our dominance here in AEW. How do we plan to do that? I’ll tell you. We plan to do it with men like Katsuyori Shibata, fury made flesh, a man who is kind enough to put on a kick pad so he doesn’t cave in your head when he kicks your skull off.
“We’re gonna do that with men like Anthony Bowens, multiple time world tag team champion here in AEW. A man who has been undervalued, underappreciated, and most importantly, underestimated. And you will see the best version of him now in The Opps. Then we come to Hook, a man who intends to become the new King of Television when he captures the TNT Championship this weekend on Collision. But more importantly, our reign to the top, it includes strategic acquisition. And that brings me to you, Will Ospreay. Y’see, Will, I hope and I pray that you’re not suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
“Because those boys in the Death Riders, they had you in the very same position that they saved you from not too long ago, and you know who came and took you out of that? We did, Will. We had your back. So you have to ask yourself, what kind of relationship do you want? Do you want one of convenience? Or one of confidence? Because The Opps are here, and the choice is yours.” That is quite the offer from the Samoan Submission Specialist. But will Ospreay change sides now that he’s already started down the road with the Death Riders? Or will he help The Opps get back on top?
FTR speaks.
Dynamite returns as #BigStoke informs us he just spoke with Tony Khan. Orange Cassidy, they have an “interesting proposition.” Next week, Dynamite Double Jeopardy! Cassidy goes 1v1 with Dax the Ax, and IF Cassidy wins, he and any member of The Conglomeration can challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships! But WHEN Dax wins, FTR gets the shot at the AEW World Trios Championships! And Stoke knows ol’ OC is begging for Stoke to get in the ring so they can be face to face, but guess what? That is not gonna happen. Stoke thinks they have a pretty good third partner, and it is the man who took Darby to his limit.
In steps Tommaso Ciampa! The Psycho Killer says last time he and FTR teamed up, if he remembers correctly, Ciampa shelfed Mark Briscoe indefinitely. This time, they take them trios titles. Ciampa picks the popcorn crumb from Stokely’s beard, and says, “Top Guys out.” Ciampa eats the crumb, then waves goodbye. Will these three truly be a dangerous combination? Or can Freshly Squeezed earn himself and… someone… another title opportunity?
BREAKING NEWS for Collision!
On top of Hook challenging The Jet for the TNT Championship, we will see The Death Riders & The Dogs team up again, but against the combination of The Rascalz & Top Flight! Another 10 Man Tag, but which side comes out on top? Then there’s more gold on the line in Peoria, Illinois, as “Jungle” Jack Perry defends the AEW National Championship against Mascara Dorada! Will the King of the Ropes add more gold to the collection? Or will Jack Perry continue to live his best Tarzan Life? Then the Bang Bang Gang hopes to rebound from Ace’s loss tonight as they go 2v2 with Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta! Will Juice & Ace win big? Or will The Death Riders dominate the night?
And lastly, “Comeback Killer” Willow Nightingale put out the challenge last week and it has been answered! Anna Jay returns to action, and she challenges for the AEW TBS Championship! Will Anna truly be the Star of the Show? Or will the Babe with the Power overpower The Queenslayer?
AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Brody King!
The Relentless One promised to be a fighting champion, and so far that is mission accomplished. But he also promised that Kevin Knight gets the next shot next week! Will Darby continue to keep his promises? Or will the King of Death throw those plans for a loop?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we add another chapter to this storied and brutal rivalry!
The bell rings and the fans are fired up already. The rivals step up, shake hands, then back up, only for Darby to SHOTGUN Brody! Darby fires off fists, Brody shove him away, but Darby comes back with fists! Darby springboards, but into a CHOP! Darby is stinging but Brody clamps on a SLEEPER! Darby grab ropes, the ref counts, but then Brody SLAPS Darby’s hands down to GERMAN SUPLEX him away! Darby tumbles all the way to the corner, and Brody roars as he runs! CANNONBALL! Brody hauls Darby up, Canadian Racks, but Darby fights free! Darby goes to another corner, and he BOOTS Brody away!
Darby goes up but Brody CHOPS! Brody climbs, Darby CLUBS away, and Darby hops on for a SUPER CODE RED! Cover, TWO!! Brody survives and bails out while the fans fire up. Darby snarls, builds speed, and DIVES! But he just bounces off of Brody’s body?!? Even Darby has to smile about that, that was wild! Brody drags Darby up and CHOPS him! Darby staggers around the way but Brody follows. Brody brings Darby up, CHOPS him again, and he grabs a chair! The ref reprimands but Brody tells fans to move aside. Brody sits the chair up, makes Darby take a seat, and CHOPS him for good measure. Brody barks, fans join in, and Brody runs up!
But Darby trips Brody and Brody hits the chair! The fans rally as Darby hurries to take that chair for his own. Darby sets it up, brings Brody up, and Darby makes Brody take a seat. Darby fires forearms, CLAWS Brody’s back, then he climbs up the corner! The fans fire up because they know this means SUPER MISSILE DROPKICK! Direct hit on Brody but Darby also writhes from that landing! The fans are thunderous while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
The ref checks Darby but he insists he’s okay. Brody is okay to continue, as well, and both men slowly sit up. Darby hobbles and rolls into the ring, followed by Brody. They slowly stand, and Darby hobbles over to fire forearm after forearm! Brody DECKS Darby with just one! Brody leans on the ropes while he catches his breath, and Darby slowly sits back up. Brody brings Darby around to CHOP him back down! Darby sputters but Brody drags him back up. Brody ROCKS Darby, whips corner to corner hard, and Darby falls to the mat! Brody storms over to Darby, stands him up, and scoops for a SLAM! Cover, TWO!
Brody stays on Darby with another scoop and SLAM! Another cover, TWO! Darby toughs it out and Brody grows frustrated. Brody drags Darby up again, scoops and SLAMS again, then covers, TWO!! Darby continues to survive, and now Brody is oddly amused. Brody looms over Darby, but Darby fires shots at the legs. Brody CHOPS Darby down! Then SENTONS onto Darby! Darby sputters and clutches his leg, it was trapped under him when the senton hit! Brody shrugs, not his fault. Brody looms over Darby but Darby crawls away. Brody stalks Darby, brings him up, and Dynamite returns to single picture for the lift. Darby GUILLOTINE FACELOCKS to counter!
Brody puts Darby on the ropes, fires body shots, and then he CHOPS Darby down! Darby hits apron before he hits floor! The fans rally and bark while Brody argues with the ref. Brody goes out after Darby, drags him up, and CHOKE SLAMS him on the apron! Brody says this is what Darby wanted, so he clears the desk! The fans cheer, and Brody even puts the desk lid off to the side. Brody paces, and watching from the skybox, it’s Kevin Knight. The TNT Champion is facing one of these two next week, so naturally he wants to watch with his own eyes. But then Darby JUMPS on Brody’s back! Darby has a SLEEPER!
Darby squeezes tight, but Brody stays on his feet! Brody runs with Darby as a backpack, CANNOBNALL down through the desk hood!! Fairfax loses their minds as both men are down in the wreckage! We get a quick look backstage to see MJF is watching this, too. The ref checks and both men are able to continue. Brody is up first and he drags Darby around. Brody scoops but Darby fights free! Darby SHOVES Brody into the desk! That corner edge gets Brody right in the stomach! Darby hurries to finish clearing the desk, and he throws hands on Brody! And even SLAPS, SLAPS, SLAPS! Brody SLAPS back!
Darby sputters on the desk, and now Brody climbs up to join him! The fans go nuts as Brody reels Darby in. Darby fires body shots and shots on the legs, but Brody CHOPS Darby! SLEEPER!! Brody dangles Darby like he has before, but Darby CLAWS Brody’s eyes! Brody lets go, Darby hurries back up, CODE RED ON THE DESK! The desk does not break, but both men might be busted up from that landing! The fans lose their minds all the same while the ref checks both men. Darby is up and in the ring, sore as he is, but Brody rises. Darby shakes out the bad leg, builds speed, and he DIVES! Direct hit and they hit the desk again!
The fans fire up while both men are down! Darby sits up, then manages to hobble his way over. Brody follows, they roll into the ring, and Darby goes up the corner! But Brody trips Darby up, then CHOPS him into the Tree of Woe! Brody then sits Darby up, just so he can CHOP Darby again! Brody barks as he storms around, and then he runs up to CANNONBALL!! Darby sputters but Brody drags him up, just to short arm LARIAT him back down! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives and shocks Brody! Brody hauls Darby right up, runs, CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!! Cover, TWO!!! Darby survives again and Brody is beside himself!
The fans are thunderous for Darby as he sits up in a daze. Brody shakes his head, unsure how Darby is still doing this. Brody YANKS Darby up, runs up, but Darby dodges the splash! Brody sputters from hitting buckles, and Darby CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Darby HEADBUTTS Brody, but that just pisses Brody off! Brody THROWS Darby onto a cameraman!! The camera is fine but Darby writhes on the ground! Brody storms out after Darby, grabs him by the legs, but Darby claws at the floor mat! The mat is pulled up as Brody drags Darby along! The fans fire up as the camera seems to be along for the ride!
Darby kicks at Brody, kicks free, then hurries to his feet. Brody CHOPS Darby and Darby staggers away. The fans rally and bark, and Brody runs up for a CANNONBALL THROUGH RAILING!! But Darby narrowly avoids that human car wreck!! The fans go nuts as Darby hurries to finish pulling up floor mats! Darby has exposed a good portion of concrete, but he makes sure to roll into the ring to stop the count. Brody storms back up on Darby, but Darby BITES Brody’s hands! The ref reprimands but Brody ROCKS Darby! Brody reels Darby in, and he looks to the floor! The fans freak out but Darby fights the suplex!
Darby SLAPS Brody’s hands, then slides under! SUNSET BOMB on bare concrete!! The fans go nuts again, but Darby isn’t done! Darby climbs, aims, and SUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Direct hit, and a solid one at that! The ring count climbs again, and Darby rolls in at 4 of 10. Brody is down at 6, but he rises at 7! Brody stands at 9, and he lunges in at 9.9! Only for Darby to COFFIN DROP again!! Then COFFIN DROP again!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!
Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Championship)
This newest chapter might’ve been their greatest, if not CRAZIEST, one yet! And in the end, Darby’s relentless nature carries him through again! Knight nods, knowing exactly what to expect for next week. But will Knight make it through the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil on Collision to then bring that TNT Championship to the dance? As for Brody, he and Darby shake hands as great rivals and friends. Darby makes sure to look at Knight up in the skybox, will Darby be able to survive his own reign going this hard week after week?
My Thoughts:
An awesome Dynamite that they really stacked with title matches. But at the same time, status quo kept and all in awesome ways. Honestly, part of me is surprised that Knight retained against MJF, because of the “Double or Nothing” idea of Darby VS MJF, title for title. But at the same time, maybe Darby is going to make MJF put up his ability to challenge for the world title, same as in MJF VS Hangman. Great win for Knight all the same, and he’ll have a very good match against Hook on Collision, and against Darby Allin next week. Darby VS Brody was an awesome main event, like PPV quality, holy crap, but great win for Darby.
MJF had a great promo with Callis & Andrade to further that feud and its slow burn. I would think that win, lose or draw with Darby, MJF will feud with Andrade for the summer. A great match for Ace Austin against Okada, but again, of course Okada won out so he and Takeshita will still have their title match. Great promo from Thekla & Skye to call out Brawling Birds, and Brawling Birds of course win their match tonight. I still wanna see that Triple Threat of Thekla VS Windsor VS Persephone with someone becoming a double champion, but it feels like it might be Thekla VS Windsor VS Hayter just so Thekla obviously gets away with a win.
Great women’s tag title match, #Shidalander getting their best showing yet, obviously. But given the story they’re building, of course Shidalander loses. Divine Dominion VS Brawling Birds definitely needs to happen for All In London, so all these other matches are just biding time on that. Rush continues to bide his time, but between the TNT Championship and the National Championship, Rush needs to get one of those to vindicate himself here in AEW. Great tag match from C&C VS RPG Vice, but also a great appearance by Conglomeration to go after FTR. They’re already building that story even before Double or Nothing, which is clunky, but I like the idea of the Double Jeopardy. Though, with that, FTR & Ciampa are definitely getting their match for the trios titles.
And great stuff in this story of Will Ospreay’s recovery. Great promo from Ospreay with the Death Riders, but then The Opps just jump in and want to recruit him now? That’s weird. I suppose there is still good continuity here, because Face Opps did fight against Heel Death Riders, and so the factions are double-turning and the feud is continuing. I am pretty sure Ospreay sticks to Death Riders in this, and there’s still so much missed opportunity not having Max Caster as part of Bowens’ story with The Opps. But hey, if it gives us Ospreay VS Shibata and Ospreay VS Joe through such a feud, who am I to question it?
